Housing – And Other Shoes to Drop

How the Future shows up is slowly coming into view.  Low probability, but there’s a theme evolving and it’s scary. It’s also complicated with several additional levels of play hidden from public view. Let’s go exploring, shall we?

Imagine a future where:

  • An outbreak of violence over immigration (legal and not) breaks out in America.
  • A major Swiss Bank can’t meet a debt obligation about 2-weeks from now.
  • About the same time, Hamas figures out that Israel is not going to “give back” most of Gaza.  They protest and the Islamic world joins forces to attack Israel.
  • And somewhere in here, pencil in a major “earth change” by the end of the year.

We are not saying that the near-term future looks bleak.  But, when viewed in a certain way, it’s a little on the dim side at a minimum.

Let’s Take it One-at-a-Time

We found the comments of one Steve Bannon to Tucker Carlson to be of note: “It’s A Powder Keg”: Steve Bannon Warns Tucker Ireland’s Post-Stabbing Anti-Immigration Crisis Is “Coming Here, At Scale” | ZeroHedge.  This follows the Netherlands voting to step back from the global invasion.  All while Ukraine’s borders do matter while the U.S. border, despite sincere efforts of the CBP rank and file, are screwed from the (socialist infiltrated) top.  Dandy, huh?  You get to make your own call on Bannon’s creds, but he hasn’t been wholly wrong on everything. Unless you live in the N.E. maybe.

Second is the matter of a pending financial crisis.  The big interview topic on financial television Monday centered on whether we get a “small” recession early in 2024 or push things out and then get a “bigger” recession. Neither prospect is being discounted by markets – yet.

The rumors swirling about the creds of Swiss banks are mainly smoke (for now, give it time).  But people who we would estimate as “true insiders” are starting up musical chairs.  For example the announcement that HSBC taps UBS’ Gautam Anand for key South Asia private banking role – memo | Reuters.  Jumping ship or upward mobility?  All answers in time.

In the Middle East (mess) we are pleased to hear that more hostages are scheduled to be released. Israel-Hamas war live updates: More hostages to be released after Gaza cease-fire extended (nbcnews.com). But, at some point, Hamas will run out of bargaining chips.  And so far, we don’t see Israel as being anxious to give back Gaza.

In fact, speculation about extending the West Bank to the sea is floating about the net.  A sea under which, off Gaza, are major gas reserves.  Israel has Egypt getting natural gas – which for now sort of keeps them from wading into war.  But that’s mighty risky poker to be playing.  The whole region is ungodly complicated: Complications and angst persist during temporary Israel-Hamas war ceasefire.

Unfortunately, there’s some inference out there that this whole mess is somewhere on the MIHOP/LIHOP spectrum (made it happen on purpose, let it happen on purpose) in stories like Israeli Media Sends Netanyahu and Others to Jail: The Intelligence Services Knew About the Hamas Attack and Informed » – Why Did They Leave Them Then?

Follow the Money

We have seldom been disappointed when looking for financial motives for war.  Sadly, it is the case here, as well, says our desktop AI:

According to the Wikipedia article on Gaza Marine1, the natural gas field off the coast of the Gaza Strip is estimated to contain more than 1 trillion cubic feet of natural gas. The field is located about 36 kilometers (22 miles) offshore at a depth of 610 meters (2,000 feet). The field was discovered in 2000 by BG Group, a British multinational oil and gas company.”

This echoes, in many ways, the Russian interest in the Dnieper Petroleum basin which is smack-dab in the middle of the Ukraine war as well.

The Dnieper-Donets Basin is a large sedimentary basin that covers an area of about 99,000 square kilometers in Ukraine and Russia1It is the principal producer of hydrocarbons in Ukraine2The basin contains a single total petroleum system that encompasses the entire sedimentary succession, ranging in age from Upper Devonian to Tertiary2. The basin has an estimated mean volume of technically recoverable, conventional, undiscovered petroleum resources at **84 million barrels of crude oil, 4.7 trillion cubic feet of natural gas, and 130 million barrels.

And, as long as we are connecting the dots that connect to nukes and missiles and what-not, we would be remiss to leave out a mention of petroleum reserves in the South China Sea:

Combined, the Gaza gas field, the Ukraine reserves, and those of the South China Sea should give important thinker guidance as to where all the stress is coming from.

We need the wars to settle ownership first – two out of three are already in play in UKR and Gaza.  Which only leaves the Chinese claims on the South China Sea to be countered by the USA.

Although it is considered fair game to attack the Slo Joe administration for many things – including an insane policy on phase out of gas appliances and hooking up cars to run on energy which we already can’t produce enough of, we hear from highly placed people that there’s more to all this.

Imagine, if you will, that the Bidenistas are only following American preservation guidance being called in from a well-hidden government agency. With a suyper-computer.

On the Peoplenomics side – less public – we have often referred to a (fictitious – maybe) Directorate 153.  Which arose almost 50-years ago – a natural consequence of war-gaming and continuity planning.

When an administration comes out with a seemingly (stupid) policy, like throttling back fracking and focusing on resource depletion, we will occasionally hear from a well-informed person near the periphery of such notions.  They will spill what beans they can.  But if you remember energy is food and to continue as a country, food will be useful, then saving natgas to make fertilizer makes a whole ton (and maybe tonnes) of sense:

“I just went to G.A. Stewert’s link in your comment. (I’m not a member, but there’s enough leakage and openly revealed material to serve the purpose.)

Largely, I agree wth his clear take.  You may have wondered why I have plugged Hari Selden and Susan Calvin — both characters in Asimov’s “Foundation” materials.  The reason is that there has been talk, offany record, for many years of a program of sophisicated social engineering and computation that measures the mass action of many, many free-will subjects.  Each one is individually unpredictable, but the action(s) of the aggregated masses are quite mathematically predictable.(It’s an “area under the curve” sort of thing…)

I haven’t been read in, nor do I even know the project’s name, but it’s been going on since the late 1950s.  The inspiration for it is, of course, “Foundation.” The first Super-comps were built to service simming nooks, and for this project. As a group, military men are practical, logical, and quite coldly savage.

It’s summed up in General Patton’s quotes on the subject, that a fierce, aggressive, speedy war saves more lives than “softer” approaches.   “Lance the boil.” Horrible-ness, euphemized and made “nice,” is actually far more cruel than a lightning war — that’s ended fast.

Much maligned General Curt LeMay is of the same school. I live about fifteen miles away from what I think may be THE largest U.S. Military joint installation in all the world, Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.  Pope is mainly a source of lots of long-range heavy lift capability.  I have little doubt it’s in all the Bad Guy’s ten-ring.  Meaning in a full-out nuke exchange, I’ll go out in the early wave(s).  I’m fine with that.

You may know that while Jesus said that no man could know the specific date and time of The End — that even he, himself, did not know, but ONLY the Father in Heaven,  BUT he also told his followers they could and would know the “season” or general time frame when all the terrible-ness would occur.(An important refinement and sub-paragraph.)

I think we’re now in that season.  Yeah, it could be another two hundred years, but in my gut, I think This Is It.  Even so, it should take a couple of months to unfold.  My main reason is the utter intractability and fanatic lack of Balance and Sweet Reason shown by either “side.”  (Including my own.)

No, I’m not selling my cloak and joining “Miller On The Hill” quite yet — and probably never.  As they say in poker, “I’ll play these (cards).

“While I have not studied the bio’s of The Great Physicists of all time, I am familiar with some. (If you know what a “Planck Length” or a “Planck Time” is, you probably know who it was who commented on the ultra-fine tuning of ALL the physical constants as revealing that “the Universe is not a ‘cage’ for man, or a ‘Sim;’ but was constructed as a home.”  As a Christian man — and recognizing all the egotistical errors and madness projected upon Christianity by the many distorters over the centuries — the Universe as a deliberately constructed home makes perfect sense.

Use as much or as little of this as may please you. Enjoy the “E” ticket ride!”

Needless to say, along with insights into zero flight time coms and a fascination with massive data display technology – which we expect our “hypothetical” D-153 hooks up to something like Visual Think Map (a sample app is here).

So, with our consigliere safely on the road back to the N.E. as of 3 am today, we are back into our more “normal mode” – slicing and dicing to get a better bead on what the rest of the year will bring.

We know there are at least 3 and as many as 6 wars in play right now (dependings on how you score the invasion of America from the south and Azerbaijan conflicts). Ukraine, Israel, South China Sea and the ag potential of Oz…yep, it’s “the season” but as to whether its all “jolly?”

Aye, that’s the rub, ain’t it?

We know that from the Manhattan Project, it was 20 years until the first public nuke plant was announced in New Jersey.  So, extensibly then, what is being opened up now is probably a quarter century behind the real AI in policy development.  See What policymakers need to know about artificial intelligence – Atlantic Council.

America may be something of a Clown Car, but there may be a hemi under the hood with don’t know about.  Maybe for a reason which might only be for continuity of country.  Who knows? Yet.

Back in a few with part 2 of this morning – the Housing report. Tomorrow a very long Peoplenomics report – a  couple of first chapters of Second-Arks and yes, food is all wrapped around the axel of human continuity.  Or, is it the other way ’round?

Write when you get rich,

  1. All the people predicting The End in the decades past were sensing only the initial “birth pangs”. We’ve come down to the events when it’s time to push. The water broke back in the 90s with OK City and then 9/11. Whether its death we wait for or a birth I’ve always been one that hates the wait but perfection is brought about only in the fullness of Time.

There has never been a time in known Human history that we have actually had the ability to wipe ourselves out and I thought over the first half of my life that the threat would come from ‘over there’ and never within our own midst. I do not for a moment think that Putin wants to push that button, Xi, however, mmmm, maybe so. He’s crazy. But there has never been, well, not since Teddy Roosevelt, the number of people in power here in the U.S. that are itching to push the button. It’s more than obvious that Biden can’t unless someone puts his hand on it and provides the pressure. The “Hidden Hand” has come into its own and is almost out in the open with its manipulations.

  2. George, you just freaked me the f**k out. Regarding my post from yesterday, I edited out the Asimov Foundation and Empire material that I had included.

“If you have read the science fiction classic, Foundation and Empire, by Isaac Asimov, then you may be aware of “The Magicians.” In a collapsing empire, “The Magicians” are the people who keep things in repair and get things done.”

    “Planck Time”

I consider my team “The Magicians”, because in a failing program, we get it done.

Did your inside source hack my computer??? Too funny… I’d say too scary, but I roll with it now… Especially intrigued by…

“(If you know what a “Planck Length” or a “Planck Time” is, you probably know who it was who commented on the ultra-fine tuning of ALL the physical constants as revealing that “the Universe is not a ‘cage’ for man, or a ‘Sim;’ but was constructed as a home.”

As you know, here is some of my work, which I had included.

I also referred to our Scrying collaboration.

I guess I will have to get this post out.

This guy sees the world as I do.

Maybe we should all get together for a drink lol!!!

    • Wow, Stu! Obviously a government contractor, you know what is coming, and you are OK with going out with the lights and refuse to prepare… even in case you DO survive? What a fatalistic attitude! Why do I have a vision of Slim Pickens riding the bomb down in “Dr. Strangelove”?
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=snTaSJk0n_Y

        • Not at all, Stu. I bought several of your books, and I do appreciate your work. But your fatalistic attitude surprises me… that’s all.

        • Just in passing, all of us who “handle the future” regularly – don’t care if it’s Clif, Stu, and me for sure, it’s damn hard to handle the shit and not be overcome with the odds and outlooks.
It’s like growing up in a first responder family, you get a taste for how grim the real future is for all of us (one way trip, all ends at dead) and not evolve something of a gallows outlook on life.
I found alcohol was a good tonic for really bad news days, and others find solace where the can. But handling future is being able to see the height of human potential on the one hand while at the same seeing how miserably short we all fall.
Handle and touch daily for a few decades – changes you. I left the daily news grind after more than a dozen years on “the street” because over enough time, taints the soul. Lots of buds – dicks at the cop shop – knew it – disproportionate numbers had busted families and the like – it’s hard. Like grabbing a handful of glass everyday and seeing it for what it is…. and trying to share that with others.
Even Andy’s life is colored by the experience – so he rolls with The DUDE – but we all have our tools to get buy. And we do, but sometimes barely.
I cut anyone doing these versions of God’s/Universes work great slack and offer thasnks they are keep “doingi the work” so we will know when things are “entering the Season”.

          Of endings

    • The real problem isn’t going out in a blinding flash of light.. Where the problem arises is… WHAT IF … People in like sanfran or cali.. or nyc.. chicago etc.. is they will probably go quickly.. the few that remain or make it past that blinding moment is where the problem arises.. you don’t prep to survive but in case you happen to survive.. the other thing is .. how many of a persons preps are using modern technology.. a chainsaw.. or a car.. did you have a bug out location fifteen hundred miles away.. can you make fuel.. can you grow your own veggies etc.. or do you have a tiller and a tractor.. a pump.. what about waste.. phew.. take a gander at gaza.. look at where our equipment is made.. the four dollar dishwasher from turkey.. that gets its parts from china.. our medications.. phew the list is long and really inspiring if you look at it the right way…. look at NOAH..

  3. Nobody told us what happens with the cease fire after the hostage exchange is complete.

Once the hostages are all released/exchanged Israel either rebuilds Gaza for the nice Palestinian citizens who had no choice by voting or moves the fence and the Palestinian folks come to America?

Has anyone figured out a way to make money sponsoring refugees, Ukie or otherwise? I’ve got an extra room but I don’t want to help for free. Ha!

  4. Is it just a coincidence that the first American hostage released just happens to have family who has “purchased hunter’s paintings”? Hmmmm!

  5. George, what you wrote below seems like a typical Rod Serling intro. All you have to do is add…
“You’ve just crossed over into The Twilight Zone.”

    Imagine a future where:
An outbreak of violence over immigration (legal and not) breaks out in America.
A major Swiss Bank can’t meet a debt obligation about 2-weeks from now.
About the same time, Hamas figures out that Israel is not going to “give back” most of Gaza. They protest and the Islamic world joins forces to attack Israel.

  6. George
If the countries surrounding Israel attack with the intent of destroying Israel they will be eliminated.
I have first hand info from an impeccable source that since the early 1970’s that Israel does in fact have nuclear weapons. About 200 at last estimate.
Israel has made it known that they will not go to the Ovens again!
Will the fools eager for war light a match they cannot extinguish? I hope not!
I haven’t been as concerned about Israel since the 1973 war with Egypt. Because of what I knew at that time I was sure Cairo was going to be vaporized!
    May cooler heads prevail!

    • Think they tested their first in 1968, or in there off ship somewhere east of s. africa

      ai corrects the feeble human
      – – –

According to the web search results, the year that Israel allegedly exploded its first nuclear device in cooperation with South Africa was 1979. The event, known as the Vela incident, was detected by an American satellite on 22 September 1979 near the South African territory of Prince Edward Islands in the Indian Ocean.

      • The nuke intrigue thickens wrt how Israel got the U-235 necessary to jump start its atomic weapons program. Somewhere between 200-300 kilograms of U-235 went missing in the late ‘60s from a nuke power plant NNE of Pittsburgh in Apollo, PA. The missing Uranium was called the NUMEC Affair, after the Nuclear Materials and Equipment Corporation, an entity headed by several folks with clear Zionist ties. The fissionable material likely went to Israel.

        https://nsarchive.gwu.edu/briefing-book/nuclear-vault/2016-11-02/numec-affair-did-highly-enriched-uranium-us-aid-israels-nuclear-weapons-program

And yes, it is a not-so-well-kept secret that Israel now possesses a sizeable nuclear weapons arsenal. After the Six Day War in ‘67, Israel collectively vowed to never again face invasion and extinction, pursuing a firm doctrine of strategic nuclear deterrence, also known as smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em! The S. African nuke test in the late 70s is well known among the strategic nuclear warning community (via terrestrial sensors and overhead assets from that timeframe).

        • An excellent read about the uranium processing plant and the shortages of highly refined uranium.
I assume when they decommissioned the plant that they inspected the piping for any uranium residue and added that to the total production numbers.
In Tom Clancy’s fiction book Sum Of All Fears it was mentioned that the terrorist nuke used fissile material from America. What did Clancy know?

      • In his memoir, Ariel Sharon mentioned that the Yom Kippur War was going so badly for Israel that until the IDF scored a miraculous victory (I believe against Egypt), they seriously contemplated trotting out the nukes. This tells me it is safe to infer the Israelis had, at least what they believed to be functional nukes, in 1973…

    • Let me see.

Side 1: Absolutely certain they are the “Chosen Ones” and have a right/duty to eliminate any who oppose them.

Side 2: Absolutely certain they are the “Chosen Ones” and have a right/duty to eliminate any who oppose them.

      • Side 3: All people are Palestinians…(goy). Just your presence is ‘opposition’.

IF you want to know what happens to ‘them’, see Side 1 and Side 2.

    – In a connect-the-dots kind of way – isn’t that what Stu, also said. [?]
“It is going to get very bad within the next few months and certainly by the Spring of 2024.”

  9. “In chess, they call this a “waiting move” meant to burn some time as the opponent develops — and reveals — his game plan. People often “mis-underestimate” the occasional value of a waiting move.” [That is a quote from a post here, from a few days back – I can’t find it now., or I would give-credit., and kudos to whoever posted it.]
I think that this hostage swap underway in Gaza / Israel is a “waiting move” on Israel’s part. As I seriously doubt that the hostages mean a whole lot in what ever their over-all plan entails. They are, sadly, nothing more than political fodder at this point.
But., now that Israel has deliberately kicked the Muslim hornet’s nest – what is their “over-all plan”?

  10. RE: “I live about fifteen miles away from what I think may be THE largest U.S. Military joint installation in all the world, Fort Bragg and Pope Air Force Base.”

Our present woke administration and U.S. Congress, via the National Defense Authorization Act and the DoD base Naming Commission, changed the name of Ft. Bragg (a Confederate general) to Ft. Liberty about a year ago. The cost of the renaming to the taxpayer was approx. $6.4M. A formal ceremony was held in June 2023 to make the renaming official.

  11. “You may know that while Jesus said that no man could know the specific date and time of The End — that even he, himself, did not know, but ONLY the Father in Heaven, BUT he also told his followers they could and would know the “season” or general time frame when all the terrible-ness would occur……”
I’ve made my peace with the Father and pray to him every night that though I’m not worthy to be saved for all of my past transgressions I pray nightly to Him and to His Son who sacrificed himself for all of us, asking Them to forgive me and save my family and myself before everything cuts loose. I believe at best we have until June of ’24 before everything pops…..Keep doing what you do George & Stu!!

  12. “In fact, speculation about extending the West Bank to the sea is floating about the net. A sea under which, off Gaza, are major gas reserves.”

Not off Gaza. The southernmost point of the southernmost (known) field lies several miles north of Gaza’s northern border. Israel doesn’t want Gaza, but (I would assume) they will take it if that’s the only way to eliminate Hamas (were I Bebe, I absolutely would). “Israel to the Sea” is a strategic military and safety plan, not an economic plan.

  13. I wish I could believe that there is a group who has the continuation of this experiment in Republicism as its goal and is working to direct this as a long term effort, it seems so far fetched to be impossible. The politicians are only interested in fundraising and the next election and their IQ’s for most range from 69 to 85 with their interests being which lobbyist pays the most and provides the best evening’s enjoyment for them, The malisciousness is more evident every day. So very sad to watch the deterioration of this once great nation.
