Taken as a whole, the following perspectives were conspiring toward a future of muddle-through, or collapse. Not the lerast of which? US and Iran end ceasefire talks without an agreement | AP News
And the hell of it? The luck of birthright will play as big a role in your future as all the hustle, crypto, and financial planning in life.
As we go through these, you might want to pause and take a note or two on how to level-up your “play of life.” It’s a fine game, but it always ends. So, you push on the “end” part and work on mastery of the middle-game.
Disturbance #1: Battle of Telecom Tyranny
Our “live fire drill” for the past two weeks has been dealing with sketchy in-ground phone service.
The Universe has seemed intent on having us focus on redundant systems. We used to think that in-ground copper would save us all – at 9600 baud – in the end. Two weeks ago, the old HDSL modem failed. A new one arrived. It delivers 500 kB speeds, mostly and sometimes.
I had explained to Brightspeed customer service it was likely an equipment problem at the C.O. (central office) but my dealing with old Lenkurt Model 45 mux gear (and the local phones in a nuclear warhead storage area in my youth) didn’t impress them in the least.
Within a week, the C.O. problem had blown up, however. We were able to call our neighbors (Deacon Dan has a new gas-powered saw mill with extended track, by the way). But, we couldn’t call the doctor, the pharmacy in town, the County Judge’s office, or even 9-1-1. Oddly, I could get through to the new fount of new 2 by 4s.
We have always known that going into the Second Depression (as the year wears on, it will become obvious) that comms would matter a lot.
And – thanks to prodding by our (tax attorney, consigliere) we were only “without 9-1-1” for about 15-minutes. See, we have prepaid MagicJack well past 2030 now. The “big sneak” is that with a “fat pipe” to the sky, MagicJack runs fine.
What the Universe seems to have been hinting at? OK, so we now have a second (3 unit) cordless phone that goes over satellites. The “normal” land line phones are the silver Panasonics. The red, blue, and gray route to sky.
The copper came back to life on Friday morning – after a full week out of service – inconveniencing more than 4,000 local homes according to a tech who filled me in without going through the PR filters.
Telecom Beefs Up
The two other moves (beyond new cordless units) were two-fold.
First was the new Starlink “mini” went up on the old ViaSat mounting. (I was on the ladder when G2 was in meetings so he couldn’t yell at the old man (77) for being up on a ladder running wire.
Later on, coffee break first, this was augmented by actually getting serious about the t-com here. So now there is an actual “equipment home” inside the shop on the north wall.
If it looks like “just a Starlink unit” look again.
The unit on the left is a UPS which will keep the sky coverage up for both phone systems for 2-hours, or more.
Plus, it’s only a few feet from the power center – where dozens of solar panels land by way of three large charge-controllers and 800 amp-hours at 24 volts of storage. That will deliver 3,000 watts peak (at 240 volts) so, um., shocking design, huh?
Planning takeaway: Do you have at least three ways onto the web or local/regional comms when shit hits the fan in coming months?
Disturbance #2: A Mindfulness Lesson
In the midst of the t-com shelf set-up, I needed to drill a hole through the shop wall. Which, as long-term readers know, is reasonable Lexan. It lets in light, keeps “bad stuff out” (cross the whole range from slithering to two-legs, to four, and small fliers). It’s also not something you tackle with a spade point drill bit.
You also don’t bring out the old man’s good Forstner bits.
Educational Note: A Forstner bit is a specialized woodworking drill bit used to bore clean, precise, flat-bottomed holes, commonly used for installing cabinet hinges and making shallow holes. Unlike twist drills or spade bits, they are guided by their outer rim rather than a center point, allowing them to drill overlapping or angled holes without drifting.
This is one of those rare times when only the “right” tools work. Having every tool God has seen fit to share, I wandered over to the drill press station and reached for this:
Yeah – fooled me, too: I thought I was grabbing the Step Drill.
Instead, what I grabbed was a “log-splitting” bit.
The difference? The log-splitting bit has a fine-pitch threading on it. Once it was into the Lexan there was no pulling it back out when I figured the hole was big enough. Sucker just keep going – making the hole bigger, and bigger, and….
Oh, sure, I tried to back it out, but the shaft on these things is designed to unscrew. Which it did. The only way through was to just keep going until well-past the threading!
Planning Takeaways:
- Be more mindful in tool selection. Don’t run on autopilot thinking about things like the damn phone company or wondering if Andy made it to the airport to hop over to Fiji to play Noah while the northern hemisphere lights up in coming weeks.
- Now that I have a slightly over-sized hole to fill to keep the crawlies out, mention to the assembled multitude that hydroponic plant collars (see here) squish down nicely to fill the hole…
We really live in an amazing country, when a lapse of mindfulness can be resolved for $35 solving the next 200 lapses of attention and eyesight.
Disturbance #3: Old Hands Getting Worried
A newbie note: Our Comments section here deserves careful daily review. Toss out the Len and Bitcoin Nazi skirmishes over personal bullshit and read it all. Because as my consigliere advises, it’s often as good as Godlike Productions when comes to how Reality will arrive.
The “old men” (we use the term fondly, being one) – are nervous as hell.
Here are a few snips and links to the posted Comments they came from:
- “I went through Ure chart pack. I’m not really seeing a lot of disagreement between Ureself and TEF’s projections. There are a lot of things going on under the economic hood that haven’t quite bubbled up to the top, but I’m personally starting to see signs of belt tightening, and people running scared.” Advice to Widows and Orphans in the ChartPack
- ““.., and we have likely completed the Wave 2 up.
Next week (to be blunt about it) should see markets crater into at least mid-May and possibly even June. That’s where the wave 3 down may end. A small summer rally to Labor Day, or first week of August, which will be our Elliott Wave 4 rally. And then Super Collapse this fall.”
.
My dates are ‘slightly’ different – but, yeah, that’s how I see it lining-up also [ if that means anything.] I am not holding any trades at the moment – but am seriously looking at a progression of long expiration options/puts – probably on Monday.” More here Advice to Widows and Orphans in the ChartPack. - But hope springs Eternal as in “Those who resist out of abhorrence to notions of 1929 repeat, or even a lesser Wave ending *crash* due to Nuclear Armageddon, count me in. Both result in end of the world scenarios and … them’s lousy odds kid. That’s Art’s story and I’m sticking with it.” That comment is here.
Still, it only takes once.
Takeaway: Our most sensible read of players and motivations is the “peace talks” track will be blown up before coffee-hour next Sunday.
Disturbance #4: “Old Men Will Dream Dreams”
Not to end on a negative note. Since I am an accomplished Oneironaut, I understand that someone in the multitude may also be working on the “Milk of Magnesia” problem.
Not keeping up? Humans are test-fitting apes. We take knowledge we have and try to “fit it” with everything else in order to build a more complete view of Reality.
About here, we need to ask “What is a magnesia” and how do you milk it?
Is it some kind of metallic cow grazing on alkaline prairies, or did chemists just wake up one morning with a poetic streak and decide to squeeze a white, chalky suspension out of thin air?
Turns out, magnesia is just magnesium oxide or its hydrate, a powdery mineral that the old alchemists named after a district in ancient Greece where they dug up the stuff.
But milking it? That took a Yankee pharmacist with more imagination than a riverboat gambler. And it was done before Big Pharma started patenting everything in sight. Before captive regulators and all the rest of what masquerades as “modern.”
Back in 1873, up in Stamford, Connecticut, an English-born pill-roller named Charles Henry Phillips got tired of his customers griping about bitter stomach remedies and the runny consequences of old Irish doctor Sir James Murray’s earlier “fluid magnesia.”
Phillips took magnesium sulfate, cooked up a batch of magnesium hydroxide, drowned it in water till it turned as white and creamy as fresh Jersey milk and slapped on the name Milk of Magnesia like a patent-medicine showman. It worked like a charm for heartburn and, shall we say, “sluggish constitutions”—gentle enough for delicate folks, powerful enough to clear the tracks when the train was stalled.
The blue glass bottles? They belonged in a lady’s boudoir, and for a hundred years it flowed out of the Glenbrook works like the elixir of regularity itself.
Takeaway: So, oh Grand Vizier* of Prepping: What is in your medical kit for the nuclear here-after?
Keep the flash goggles handy and write when you get rich, SPF-100 in the shade.
George@Ure.net
*A grand vizier was the highest-ranking minister of state in the Ottoman Empire and other historical Muslim states, acting as the sultan’s absolute representative, chief advisor, and prime minister. They held immense power over the bureaucracy, military, and legal systems, often managing the government while the sultan remained isolated.
Oneironaut – Thanks for the ‘new’ word to add to my personal lexicon. Of course I will probably forget it as I basically have no place to use it.
George, a personal thank you for all of the columns here and on Peoplenomics over the years. I find them very thoughtful and helpful. Comments are mostly wonderful, insightful and entertaining. I hope that you and Elaine keep on trucking through the “Troubles” that seem to be arriving soon.

Keep flash goggles handy is great advice, as most just don’t get/understand a muslim world, Their cult teaches only ONE thing and that is TOTAL domination of the world so they can all go to heaven. They can NEVER be trusted IF your a infidel and they will NEVER stop until they rule the world. unfortunately this comes from not only studying their cult but being exposed to it overseas. I won’t say this online as the AI keep record of everything. but YOU know the only way to stop the. YUP that is FACT!
Your site is always a spot on site.
Thanks for YOUR service.

hmm.Now here at home..I’m not allowed to talk religion or the concepts due to my personal beliefs And i have a nephew thats a theology professor that barely gives me the time of day because of my beliefs..but in considering you comment…. That take feels a bit extreme to me. It’s important to remember that Islam isn’t a single mindset or a single experience — there are nearly two billion Muslims around the world, and the overwhelming majority are just ordinary people living their lives, not following any doctrine of domination. It’s easy for someone who served overseas or only encountered extremists in conflict zones to walk away with a distorted impression, but that’s not representative of the global Muslim population or mainstream Islamic teaching. Every major religion has fringe groups that twist beliefs for power, profit and personal gains and it’s not fair to project the actions of a few onto everyone else. It’s worth separating personal experiences in high?tension environments from the reality of an entire faith community.
It’s worth remembering that the great teachers across history — whether we’re talking about Confucius, Laozi and the Daoist sages, the Prophet Muhammad, Jesus Christ, or countless others — all pointed humanity toward compassion, humility, balance, and responsibility. Their messages were about elevating human behavior, not dominating others.
Remember When you look at the teachings of the great wisdom traditions — whether it’s Confucius urging harmony, the Daoist sages teaching balance, Jesus calling for compassion, or the Prophet Muhammad emphasizing justice and mercy — they all point humanity toward a higher, more peaceful way of living. Yet throughout history, people have often chosen the opposite direction, the one ancient texts describe as the path whore of Babylon: a path driven by pride, division, fear, and the pursuit of power over others. It’s not about any one religion or culture failing — it’s about how easily mankind drifts back into the same old patterns where the end result is always the collapse of a civilization, even when every major spiritual teacher has tried to guide us toward something better.
Grand Vizier – now there’s a flash title to follow one’s name.
Sunday, a day of rest. Well, around here it’s more list making in prep. having the young fella here Monday afternoon. I keep telling myself, self, take it easy. It all gets as done as life allows. I don’t enjoy list making but consider it a must. I _very_ much enjoy crossing stuff off a list (then sadly, transfer the not done to the next list). It’s less about what needs doing than what I can get done.
There’s always tomorrow. Well, usually, hey? Yesterday a MedEvac helo went over low (at tree tops) but didn’t land and take me away. So, I got that going for me. Back at it. My ShopTalk suggestion to others like to me (old, decrepit but with enough piss and vinegar to keep on) is figure out a work-a-round.
I grumped with E2 while cooking at the BBQ during our New Years fam. gathering. The boathouse concrete pad has cracks all over. This was a poorly laid / finished add-on while building the house. The younger me, Son E2, said : “it’s just concrete Dad” and I bought in. Why mess with Mother Nature? Bought an inexpensive 12’+ x 8’+ Polypropylene outdoor rug. Can’t see cracks.
ToolSlut part : Hmm. It has sewn in edges for tie downs at each corner. [insert light-bulb imoji] My masonry bits have done a lot of duty. I need a new set. Made a deal with the Zon and … guess it’s worth replacing the worn worm-gear winch on the E Scow lift. Oh, almost forgot the threaded concrete anchors (which is why I bought new bits).
Without meaning to actually do anything today, it seems time to go show the flag at my ManBarn (pole barn). There are several wonderful barns nearby with large US Flags on them. Me likey. I’m going to paint the top 2/5 of the massive roll-aside door. Wonder what tools I need for that? Starts with white primer (already own that).
Off to find some bluejean work shorts. When it hits >60F the pretending to work begins. It’s 57F. Must away.
Have a fine day all,
Egor, Commodore-Retired
80F here today … feels good.
This year got a chill in my bones and it seems to take an extra few degrees to get it out. Not sure if it’s age or the fact I didn’t ski as much as I normally do which gets me out into the cold including bitter cold regularly in the winter.
Hopefully the really cold weather is gone … though I have seen it snow here as late as May 4th. Flower and trees are showing signs of life, which means my allergies wont’ be far behind.
Have a great week everyone!
Lately When it seems that the cold settles deeper than it used to, and it takes a little more warmth to shake it off.I believe part of it is just the years adding up, I sure notice it more to..I use to love cold weather now I bundle up more, and part of it is not spending as much time out in the winter air as before.
When you’re not out in the cold regularly, the body loses some of that natural toughness it once had. And as we age, our circulation and muscle warmth fat distributions etc.. don’t kick in quite as fast as they used to. Put together, it makes the chill feel like it lingers a bit longer than it once did.
just wait till you you start noticing skin slip. its why I refuse to wear a badge.. ive seen some nasty skin tears because of skin slip….like I was told by my wife..you dont boy CD like you could when you were younger..
Hell, after 45 years here I get the chills when it’s below 70F… “Hawaiian Freezing”.
Timing is always the bitch in everything. I expect Andy will be out to sea by tommorrow.
“Old man on a ladder” incident.
Tragedy in the late afternoon of Saturday, April 11, in Arzignano, where a man lost his life while engaged in maintenance work in his own garden.
The alarm went off shortly after 6 p.m. on Via Ghisa, when a neighbor noticed the situation and immediately contacted emergency services. The 75-year-old was found on the ground, at the foot of the tree he was pruning, with a ladder used to reach the branches beside him.

Wanna see hells furry unleashed..watch my wife’s reaction if she catches me on a ladder….
Your telecom set up is first rate as I would expect it to be. Similar here but not nearly as sophisticated. Starlink, a 5g hotspot and my good ole tracphone burner. The fiber has been coiled up down bt gate about 2 years now. Out here it’s not so much a question of IF the call goes through as it is HOW LONG it takes for them to find us. When Diana had her heart attack a few weeks back it took the ambulance 45 minutes to get here. New crew I suppose. My daughter was working on overnight shift at the hospital an hour away and heard the dispatch to the ranch in the ER. She got here ahead of them. Luckily she opened the gate when they arrived behind her and she wrangled the dogs before anyone got bit, then jumped right into the middle of the ambulance crew. I heard her yelling that’s my mom dammit. Once that and her position as the NP Supervisor at the hospital we started out at was established things operated much smoother.
Point being there are tradeoffs to the remote life but we would still not trade it for anything.
Stay safe everyone. 73
Jim : a harrowing story. I have watched Mrs. E jump in at need. Heck, we have gone full team pretend EMT too. A friend survived. Hope all is well for you and yours. Creds to your Daughter. Well done. Egor ~ __|_ ~~
(“When Diana had her heart attack a few weeks back it took the ambulance 45 minutes to get here. “)
that’s where I am fortunate..we have an emergency alarm system.. it goes off or the panic button is pressed results in the whole town comes..
in April last year I went to bed while sleeping threatening text messages came in the phone opened them making it appear that I had been reading them..it freaked me out.. when I took it to the police he said block it..its the new normal where they target the elderly and disabled.. ( my grand daughter said at her work they are to question any elderly or dissabled buying five hundred dollar gift cards..they get five to ten a day average..at one location) the officer said a bunch of unsavoury people came across during the open borders of the last administration..anyway back to the emergency response..
Since I got those threatening and a few other elderly in our small community.. the response system is hyper excelerated.. the neighbor lady ran out of her house yelling help..I grabbed the eD diffribulatorand noticed three neighbors running out with AK’s just in case.. everyone was there in less than five minutes..
my wife was slow boiling dried beans.. we went out to eat.. the water burned down smoke filled the house the alarm went off..I get a call in the restaurant.. hey we took the beans off the stove would you like our to air out the house..lol lo!
super fast response here..at work one of the clients fell..there again everyone was there in minutes in the middle of the night.. one good thing is a majority of the population build most of the fire and emergency response trucks for all over the planet..
Jim … missed where Diana had that happen to her (speed reading comprehension skills are not as good now as when younger). Glad to hear they got there in time though. (Maybe they need better GPS devices for their equipment?). Hopefully her recovery is going well! Prayers inbound.
(being in the city of our response times here are super fast. 1st major hospital is less than 5 minutes away and second one is 2 minutes past that one – both have 24hr cardiac surgical teams ready to go inside the hospital too. Friend having a major Heart Attack went from coming in the door to being cut on the table in less than 5 minutes – hospital claimed 3 minutes but I’ll say 5. Last couple of times neighbors called 911 EMS was here in less than 4 minutes)

that brought up some funny experiences lol lol lol lol
one of my doctors..when she was going to med school..we worked The floors together..well she is pretty Andi wanted to be a gentleman.. so I let the fluffy go in an empty room… later we were walking by the room on rounds..she sniffs a few times and whispers to me..I think someone had a BM…lol lol lol
I never confessed it was me.
The idea that those seeking… MORE.. May have opened Pandora’s box.Was brought up in Saturdays column…
This got me thinking..hmmm.
There’s always a danger when curiosity outpaces caution, the same way opening Pandora’s box began with a simple desire to know more. You can imagine a scenario where someone — a researcher, a leader, even a visionary — becomes so determined to understand whether humanity could survive a collapse that they push the boundaries further and further, convinced the knowledge is worth the risk. But in chasing that answer, they might overlook the possibility that their actions could trigger the very crisis they’re trying to prepare for. It’s the oldest story in human history: someone seeking insight into mankind’s resilience, only to discover too late that the pursuit itself can shake the foundations they hoped to protect.
I love the show naked and afraid.. a man a woman put in harsh environments outside their normal and comfort and new to see if they can survive.. then the colony.. another tv show with the same mindset..
https://youtu.be/6Hv4ADUr-0E?si=4X2_GskdVZ_kg2d5
now think about it and studies done by world leaders and their studies…
It’s interesting to think about shows like Naked and Afraid, The Colony, and all the international versions — UK, Australia, South Africa, and more. On the surface they’re entertainment, but they also end up functioning like voluntary social?stress experiments.
Instead of governments or institutions putting people into harsh conditions to study human behavior, these shows get volunteers who sign up for the challenge, the adventure, or even just the hour of fame. And in the process, the producers and government researchers get to observe how ordinary people react when comfort disappears, resources are limited, and group dynamics get pushed to the edge.
It makes me wonder if, in trying to create compelling TV, they may have opened a kind of Pandora’s box like you’ve brought up — discovering more about human resilience, cooperation, conflict, and survival instincts than they originally intended. Not in a sinister way, but in the sense that these shows accidentally reveal how people might respond if society ever faced a real crisis would we survive as a species??
I personally find it fascinating how entertainment sometimes overlaps with the same questions researchers and world leaders study…….
How do people adapt? Can they adapt ?? How do they organize and utilize the resources available ?? Can we still function when everything familiar is stripped away????
Can those survivors recreate the luxuries each and everyone of us depend on for a quality of life or simply surviving the events caused by the greedy nature of opening Pandora’s box ???
Sometimes reality TV ends up showing more about human nature than the producers bargained for.

Years ago my daughter moved into an apartment..I had the urge dropped on the toilet..and it had the similar feel of sitting in a luxury sports car..
https://youtu.be/QAiljMBPEOU?si=5Qi2NIJmUjP5dZdB
they sit low so when you drive it feels like your going faster for the thrill..or the bankers chair..it to sits a couple inches lower promoting the subconscious psychological dominance ..
now this toilet..it sat lower to the floor similar to the squad th potty a step stool in front of a toilet aligns your hips to stimulate a more complete elimination..

but like that toilet in the apartment it worked great..but similar to the ground hugging sportscar.. you almost have to flop off of it to get off..

My sibling that I took a vacation to..has a Jaguar E-Type convertable… nice looking car..he collects old cars and as I was standing there looking at it ..I started to laugh..he asked what’s funny..I said where’s the Crain to lift your fat ass out of it lol … While i was there he told me if anyone including their private security was to ask where I belonged.. ( I obviously don’t fit the image of belonging in that neighborhood) I was to say my brother is the car guy…lol lol
But the soft-serve looked delicious! And the Prince was handsome.
This sort of contradicts the Jamie Dimon narrative that the private credit contagion was an isolated segment event:
https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/sick-behavior-financial-psychopaths
This indicates the Fed bank examiners are in the field actively trying to figure out which of their members and insurers are now caught with financial shorts down and junk credit instruments hanging out. Defaults, anyone?
Banks lend to PC at 7%, PC lends at 14%. Egan Jones asks for credit profiles of borrowers. PC then gives the the profiles of the 15% best borrowers in any given deal. Egan Jones delivers a a AAA. Now the PC Co. gives the same borrowers to future deals. Double and tripling using same profile. Now when the deals go bad they all go bad. It is said 2.5 to 3T in deals. Now they sell to BD’s and insurance CO’s in maturity dedicated retirement funds while at the same now setting up CDS deals to bet against what they know is coming.
“Milk of Magnesia’ ought to be sued for false advertising!! Read the ingredients. It is NOT ‘magnesia’. It is ALUMINA…. that’s aluminum… the stuff that clogs and insulates the neurons in the brain. I watched my grandmother take her daily doses of the stuff as she sank into dementia and alzheimers disease. Caveat Emptor.
Curious…
So , “Big Daddy” is closing the Straits tomorrow morning.
What happens if , say a tanker bound for Japan or India “never heard” about the closure , or ecided to ignore it , what does Big Daddy do ? Sink the tanker ? Board the ship and assume control ? Or let it pass on through ?
Turkey has always been a wild card. They’re talking shit all of a sudden. The member country that wants to ride the fence , but now , aint riding it no more. Turkey could be ( should be ) the number one country that we want to stay on good terms with.
re: “Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull”, 2008
feat: Skara Brae, Scotland, 3100bc-2026ad
According to the Hollywood film, a student lecture by Dr. Jones in Room 113 regarding Neolithic-settled Skara Brae suffered interruption due to Cold War paranoia in 1957 with Russia. Advanced, stone-constructed Skara Brae had flourished for 1,000 years before disappearing in the sands of time in Scotland’s northern Orkney Islands before re-emerging in 1850. The island is part of Ultima series’ videogame plots representing a “place of spirituality”.
Today the Russian Embassy to the UK issued a public news release in commemoration of Russian Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first flight in space on April 12, 1961. The Embassy posted black and white images allegedly taken during his tour of London and Manchester in July, 1961. One image depicts him waving to crowds while standing in a top-down Rolls Royce vehicle. Six somewhat blurred yet perhaps subliminally readable sign placards lurk near the top of the frame. One sign informs “Do not think says the Persian government”. Another advises “Down with (illegible) oppression of Persia”. Further inquiry reveals the basis of the image was taken outside Metropolitan-Vickers factory in Manchester. The factory had assembled the WW2 Avro Lancaster bombers powered by V12 Merlin engines like the Submarine Spitfire fighters. Metropolitan-Vickers disappeared by 1967 but its military-industrial descendent twins live on. One is under M Group Services subsidiary to a privately held Channel Island-headquartered $800+ billion investment firm, and the other is part of a Swedish telecommunications company controlled within the $100+ billion Wallenberg family empire.
Russia’s Embassy also notes the past installation of a stone bust of Cosmonaut Gagarin on the Milestones Trail. The “Scotsman” website dedicated a page to the 2008 event. At the time, Gagarin’s bust was the 14th to be placed on the pathway leading to the Skara Brae archeological site in Scotland. His plaque reads “1961, First Man in Space”.
It’s gotten to the point with Brightspeed whenever I have a problem with the internet (after resetting the modem but before calling the tech non-support) I call the non-customer service number, and immediately tell the person answering the phone I want a repairman at my house.
I used to just turn the modem off and pretend to go through the motions of watching the lights flash and eventually the CSR will schedule a tech but I’m tired of trying to understand people allegedly speaking English that are unable to pronounce ‘r’ and unable to place their tongue properly against their lips when attempting the ‘th’ sound.
Every time the tech comes out, there’s a card in their switch down the street that that needs replaced. Same guy has been working this area for over 20 years. Gonna hate when he retires in the near future. He happened to tell me that when CenturyLink managed the local network no maintenance was ever conducted and Brightspeed isn’t going to spend any money on replacing spent 48 VDC batteries.
I’ sure digging up and replacing the streets of downtown Palestine (about a block away from the central office) isn’t helping with the infrastructure.
That’s probably Jim (but he may have retireed) so say hi to Mark. When the old timers leave, the world sunsets. Digitally of course, but it may go further this time…
re: “Four Disturbances in the Force”
feat: As Artemis & Apollo, so Pharez & Zerah
I don’t think we’ve seen signs like this since Russia’s Maj. Gen. Patrick Gordon from Aberdeen, Scotland received his command of Kyiv forces from the Tsar in 1679 or the rise of Iran’s Khomeini in 1979. Today on Orthodox Easter Sunday, the Ukraine President congratulated a newly elected Hungarian leader on social media.
Separately the Ukrainian PM Mrs. Sverydenko posted an Easter selfie with her hands clasped awkwardly to display a red thread bracelet on her left wrist. As The Bible lesson in Genesis 38:27-30 may map out, the first shall be last, and the last shall be first?
Hell Yeah George!

Trump lambasts Pope Leo XIV, extending feud over Iran war with first American pontiff
President Donald Trump delivered an extraordinary broadside against Pope Leo XIV on Sunday night, saying he didn’t think the U.S.-born global leader of the Catholic Church is “doing a very good job” and that “he’s a very liberal person,” while also suggesting the pontiff should “stop catering to the Radical Left.”
““I’m not a fan of Pope Leo,” he said.”
LOL
Trump is OK, the world is all wrong. The Epstein Alliance deepens.
Trump Just Pulled Off The Biggest Power Move in Global Economic History…
Iran played their last card. Then Trump hit ‘em with the Uno Reverse. Now the deck is reshuffling entirely.
Energy will never flow the same way again.
With Venezuela’s vast oil reserves under U.S. control and now the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, America now oversees the global oil supply.
Countries that want oil must buy from America. This is the Gulf of America, packed with supertankers racing to load up on US oil.

Hardest hit? China, who just lost their number 1 and 2 oil exporters in a matter of weeks.
Absolute masterclass.

If you want to truly understand what it means to have an IQ in the range of 75-80, which is borderline retarded, listen to Kamala Harris explain how to solve inflation.

I cant believe I am defending this twit, but compared to tRUMP this idiot is harmless. Ure megalomaniac “savior” is one slip away from Nuclear obliteration…stay tuned. Besides, kam slept with adults..no hints/rumors or anything regards KIDS, unlike the orange “savior”, See Epstain War in Middle East.
Compare above to the TARIFFS that tRUMP shoved up our collective tax paying Asses.
Who is GENIUS now Genocide Ray?
The brilliance of Ure alls analysis is second to none ! Well done Geniuses.
“light years ahead of tRUMP in brains department”
Obviously.
Your grrrl went to kollij on a scholarship for which one had to have a 90 (or less) IQ to qualify.
Trump went to Wharton…
The only genocide I favor is the one which takes out the bastards who’ve murdered over 140,000 Persians, this year alone, and who rapes (religiously-defiles) each and every one, regardless of age or sex, before they murder them.
I do not support child-rapists and murderers. It saddens me that you do…
Every fucking American better sit the fuck down and pay attention, because the globalist communists just delivered a masterclass in subversion…and the last pure holdout in Europe has fallen.
Today. Right now.
Hungary…Viktor Orbán’s fortress of sovereignty, the final bastion of unapologetic national identity against the Brussels-Davos machine… has conceded.
Sixteen years of defiance crushed by the coordinated pathology of funded opposition, media psyops, and the eternal Marxist tactic of “democratic” infiltration.

It doesn’t matter what the people want or need..the needs of ordinary people have often been overshadowed by the priorities of a small group in power. Most of the population simply want stability, fairness, and a chance to live their lives Adolph pointed this out in his second secret book.., but leaders can become shaped by pressures, incentives, and fears that pull them away from those basic needs.. Lobbyist firms have had the ears of government for decades..swaying the path of governance in the direction they seek without giving one thought about the peoples desires… Sociological studies show that communities, whether affluent or struggling, tend to focus on practical concerns, while those in authority may become insulated from everyday realities. The result is a recurring gap between what populations need and the direction chosen by those who govern — a pattern seen in many societies, not just one.

Martin Armstrong: Viktor had to lose to allow the EU to go to war with Russia. It is the EU’s date with destiny. Viktor was the last voice of reason in Europe.
Every model we had showed a political change. This coming week is a Panic Cycle. Friday the 10th was even a Directional Change.
To our many readers in Hungary, you have my deepest sympathy. Understand that it was necessary for a war with Russia. They were not about to allow a fair election any more than they did in Romania.

What shocks me is leaders often mistake risk for opportunity and potential profits and the confusion for control. The lure of gain more money more reserves its for my best interest of influence, resources, advantage — Like bugs being drawn to an outside lamp at night like a bright distraction, blinding them to the quiet vulnerabilities growing at home. all while neglecting the needs of the country try.. using all of our strategic reserves in the search for more for the few puppet masters…
We outsourced our industrial complex, neglected our infrastructure weakening our nations security all for gain for a few.. Our stockpile has drastically been reduced and it appears that everyone forgot..a great deal of the components are manufactured elsewhere.
my curiosity is..are the analysts truly that blind over the thought I could win the lottery and be richer..the
