Will the Market Forecast the Fed? Many ATR Notes

Feel like you need a dose of Breaking News?

The latest new unemployment claims chart will have to hold you.

That and a reminder the early futures were pointing to a solidly higher open.

RSS as Modern Tea Leaves

Wondering what the Fed decision will be – and more importantly how it will be received by markets – next Wednesday?

Here’s a short discussion of “reading the tape” and “reading the news” to get Thursday rolling.

Let’s say Ure wants to make another 2-3% in his account in the next week.  All I need to do is pick the right future, then buy a triple-levered index funds a couple of times.  Come on, if this was really hard, do you think I would do it?

In Swing Trading, moves have been running in the 5-7 hour trading range.  Wednesday may have touched an S&P swing trading low around 5-hours into the 6.5-hour session.

Today, we should go up through at least the European close.  Then maybe start a down-trend to close the week.

All we need to do is use the information in our trading Grimoire’s about wave lengths, then take from next Wednesday 2PM and work backwards.

If it looks like a strong Tuesday and no real big down pressures on Wednesday morning, then a strong decline could follow the rate hike.

OR, if Tuesday’s close (or into next Wednesday’s open) turns out to be hard down, then a rally on the Fed decision is possible.

Unfortunately, there is temporal asymmetry between Bullish and Bearish trading swings, so you have to know when a context shift (from one day to half-day swings) is in the works.

Tea Leaf Class: So today may be up, then down.  Leaving tomorrow to maybe rally, then down for the weekend.  Leaves a rally Monday, hesitation then disappointment on the Fed hike.  Or, the exact opposite.  We’re still to far out to commit funds.  We left the short side Wednesday after a tiny 1.3 percent gain.

It’s a useful mental tool when visualizing POSSIBLE Futures with the idea of making a buck on them.

OR

I can just look at where we are and where I think we’re going in this wave down.  A lot more downside could be coming…

See it?  Even with the head and shoulders forming on the right, we could still collapse in a heap.  Because when we look at this other chart (the kind of things Peoplenomics subscribers get) it looks like this in terms of recent events since last fall – and to us this is much easier to follow:

So yeah, we’re in a 3 down, and despite rally days, the trend is our friend.

The vertical arrow right says look at the difference on a daily basis between our moving “line in the long-term “line in the sand” model and the present Aggregate Index.

Go Slowly Rich

Our latest 8-hour trade was only a 1.372 percent gain – which seems stupidly ir not idiotically small. And it is…if you do it just once.

Until you semi-dependably snipe three of those a week and it pencils out to 545 percent annual return (that is, 5.45 times your money). Magic of Compounding for the serfs.  But then you have short-term gains.  Still, like Pappy used to say “High class problem to have, paying all that tax…

Taxes in the Ure family are treated the same as speed limits.  You can drive within the speed limit and never have to look for cop cars.  And you can just pay the tax and never worry about audits.  Or, you can try the Trump route.

We’ll take the bunny, double-wide in the woods, redneck beverages, wildlife, garden patch, our shooting range, and the workshop, thank you. We like strategic hiding as a concept.  No committees, no grand juries, no audits…leaves time to appreciate the view of life rolling by…

On the other hand, it would be nice to have a president, again.

Mob Government

Everyone’s dirty in D.C. we reckon.  Masks for a sexually-spread pox?  YHGTBSM.

Yet, its where America is:  Ruled by dueling mobs.  As we’ll have stuff into our subconscious with stories like Capitol attack’s full story: Jan. 6 panel probes US risks | AP News.

As a taxpayer, I am incensed that a producer for the hearings as somehow thought necessary.  Secretly, we know without one, this whole shit-show would have the wheels come off on live TV and the System can’t afford that.

We are as a country long past Invention, Production, and Enjoyment.  We’re going over the fall into Long Misery until we bottom-out again and have a world war.

Prototyping War

Tooling up for Global War by 2026 does take a little work.  We appreciate that.  We want the finest of biochemical, nuclear, and software collapse as can be managed.  We need to destroy all the world’s “savings” and not let on that “money” as presently constituted is an unnecessary joke.  Ruling Joke, but joke nevertheless.

A salad made of dollar bills is still not nourishing, no matter how much “dressing” the demagogues heap on it.

With the Fed running a Ponzi Scheme.  And the reason we can say this is the government (Treasury) sells bonds.  Then the Fed buys whatever is needed to hold up markets.  Peter doesn’t “pay Paul.”  Peter is writing checks to himself and getting richer by the minute.

Not.

Which is why we are buying the means of production and tooling for Civilization Restart instead of the ‘filthy lucre’ part.

We try to be out of Casinos before they catch fire.  And we’re smelling smoke every day now.

Last Chance Tourism?

Seems to be on the uptick prior to the war with Turkey later this year.  Visitors trickle back to Syria citadel used by jihadists.  Perhaps some morbid sightseeing, as well?  Mass graves are still being dug in Syria today, anonymous whistleblower tells US senators.  To fill in the Fall?

We wonder who’s paying for this and where is forensic accounting when needed?  Our favorite forensic dean of Accounting was planning to “hit the silk” (skydivese for bailing out) from academia.  Don’t know if schools after his departure will even bother with the pretense of teaching people critical thinking skills.

Letters of Credit Roulette

Biden got lucky on the Balance of Trade – mainly China – last month.  But we expect trade to go bright red again shortly as China’s exports surge on easing COVID curbs, trade outlook still fragile.

Everyone has their blather on Covid impacts on China.  We think Covid lockdowns there will continue to evolve as a mini-industry (check pharma stocks in the West, right?).  But while China turns Covid into a Marxist monetization (rather than a stock swindle with government backup and liability protections) the return of the supply chain collapse will soon be at hand.

Meanwhile, our daily food jitters are spiked by Hundreds, perhaps thousands have died as famine spreads in drought-ravaged Somalia.

And then it will get worse.

ATR: Heart, e-Mow, Pepper H2O

In the reader-pile for you today:  Ure’s Nuclear Treadmill, Electric mowing, our Garden Room heat plan, and a splash for Hank, plus Happy Debbie.

Wow – lots to cover:

Quicker-Ticker:

Due to having a recent run-in with cardiac arrythmias, not to mention an aid buggy ride last month, Wednesday’s Peoplenomics was posted early so I could be in the local clinic at 8 AM for an echo, and 40-minutes later doing the Nuclear Treadmill test.

Short version?  I have two health concerns here at the middle of 73:  One is my resting heart rate (when writing columns) has been dropping.  Yesterday it was 45-46 beats per minute.  Meanwhile blood pressure was going up.

Good news: The echo results are in – and my left ventricle ejection fraction (LVEF) is 70 – which is lots better than the age-adjusted median (60). Harder to have CHF with such a high LVEF. from what I gather, though who knows?

The Tic Dr. and #2 are going over the imagery.

But here’s the thing:  Given how I’ve lived, I was surprised at the (relatively) good internal condition of the ticker. I mean really.

Ran the treadmill up to 130 BPM and on spike recorded BP 220/100.  Then at peak, along came a boatload of PVCs.  Which actually dovetails with my Bradycardia and lower level H BP goings-on.

My nickel bet on  differentialing this to a happy outcome?

I would not be surprised by a referral for a Sleep Study next.  Reason being that serious sleep apnea can cause both arrythmias as well as elevate the old BP skyward.

Only a guess at next steps.  My cardiologist is a marvelous fellow and no idea what – if anything  (I mean besides the alien implant, lol) – will show in nuclear imaging.

One of the great lessons in life – applying to doctors and attorneys – is:  If you  use an expert, listen to them.  We shall see what they find.  I’m just thinking TV show doc.  (Though House was exceptional).

BUT, with 10-1/2 hours of sleep overnight, BP is running 121/61 while pulse remains over 60.  (Though that could be the coffee.)  The Major says CPAP machinery isn’t bad, but you have to get the fit right.

Dirty Fencing – Electric Ranching

Somewhere in the middle of all this, I mow the lawn weekly.  Even got after the fence line by “swinging the electric weed whacker.”

Enough was enough.  I ordered a modest (under $150) cheapo unit.  Like 16-inches.

Small, light and something we can keep going even if the grid goes down by virtue of our solar, the idea is I can clean up the edges and along the fence line a lot faster with more power, no lifting, and just walking around.

Fence lines don’t seem like a big deal inside the City Limits.  But out here in “no local government interference” land fence lines are long.  Overall 6,000 feet plus for us.

In our front yard, there’s a good 120-feet from Coral Snake Grove down to the front gate.  From there, the line runs west past the Pet Cemetery and keeps going till out west of the original greenhouse.  Going down hill, there’s 1,456-feet of barbed down to the county road.

Managing profiles is an important thing to remember in times to come.  We keep the visible part of the property (from the Co. road) as raw, ugly, and inhospitable as possible.

I try to keep around the house pinned-back a bit.  But my point is that Drug Gangs and lower-class people look at a perfectly manicured lawn as “rich people must live there.”

Fact is, being neat, having a perfect lawn, really has very little to do with Wealth.  It does have EVERYTHING to do with hustle and drive, however.

See poor people are generally poor for one simple reason:  They are lazy.

The reality is if you have enough hustle and drive to do the yard, you probably have enough drive left-over to fill out job applications.  Why, just making the conscious decision not to be a loser (lazy piece of shit),  is often about all it takes to get on the train to leave Poverty Row.

Of course, this never occurs to the indolent and lazy.  They look at neat lawns and judge income and asset levels.  Never occurs to them that all that’s really going on is an active mind, some drive, and a dash of follow-through.

The money simply follows.  A point the Lazy Leach class (LLc?) somehow fails to grasp.  The hell of it is, they also mold their offspring into the weak mindset, which is how generational poverty propagates.

Bad mindset is perhaps the primary human disease.

Pepper Water Hank

I did not realize there even was a Hawaiian Pepper Water.  Though, when we lived in the Cayman Islands for a couple of years, there were many Caribbean (and Jamaican) spices and spiced waters.  Some of this can weld mild steel plate to about 16-gauge, or so.

Having to sample (per Hank in Hawaii’s mention) I have a bottle of  Adoboloco Hot Sauce Hawaiian Chili Pepper Water Sauce 5oz – Medium Hot Super Tasty Fiery Chili Pepper Sauce Blend which was on sale on the Zon, to see what gives.

Medium is a bit cowardly.  And even then, I work slowly up to it, adding only enough to turn teriyaki chicken into fuel rod cooling pond chicken.

There’s a Jamaican Jerk Spice jar we still have the Fire Dept. come stand-by while we open it.

Guess we will have to save the rest for tomorrow morning.  My personal time management timer just dinged me out of Writers Reverie.

Except Happy Birthday to our friend Debbie – who is not older; she’s better. She and Elaine have a lot in common like that.

Write when I wake up,

  1. I think all the inflation is coming from retiring Boomers.

Over time nobody shaved the edges of their coins off for their golden years. Now everyone’s coins must be shaved to accommodate them.

At this point I’m wondering how many companies decided way back when they’d lean on PBGC when necessary. Who can’t imagine jack Welch saying, “I won’t be around… let PBGC handle it…” “Warm up my helicopter!”

    • Might want to go back and see the history of Social Security, how it was originally set up as a trust fund, then how the government borrowed from it, then raised the age to withdraw (what we put into it) then regulated it and how hard it is for disabled persons to get SSD. It’s quite the shit show. Boomers put a hell of a lot of money into it but no one wants to give any of it back.

That money was to grow, not disappear. So we pee’ons were told.

    • As an outsized population cohort, Boomers will retire to the best of their/our ability. There will be a deflationary effect from cashing out financial assets and real property too. This is a foregone conclusion, though inflation can hide some of the effects, but not the very real effect of the lowered value of fiat. I won’t guess regarding crypto, but I would think that PM’s may drop in absolute value, but nowhere near as much as fiat. If inflation really bites, PM’s may increase in value. This would all be relative to costs for food/fuel/necessities. I’ll stay with investing in materials, tools, and enclosed space. Education is important, but need not cost money today unless it’s business/financial education, and those costs come from the school of hard knocks.

  2. I heard you can use a special mouth guard to sleep with that works instead of a mask.

    • I’d be curious to learn more about this. It might also minimize snoring while giving better sleep. I’ve had complaints in the past about snoring, though generally snoring never bothers me. I’ve listened carefully and never heard myself snore.

A passive device that doesn’t look ridiculous sounds promising.

    • Eleanor. Strange you should make this comment.

I had coffee with a good friend this morning. He is 65 and has had issues with sleep apnea for years. For about 2 years he has been using a CPAP unit which is less intrusive than a full face mask. Apparently just air tubes into the nose. The unit has some type of measurement device through his smart phone and gives him readings on how well he sleeps without nightly “incidents”. The incidents are when he stops breathing for 10 seconds at a time.

He got improvement but was still getting a number of “incidents.” Doctors suggested a chin strap that gently keeps the mouth closed during sleep. Apparently he was leaking air out through his mouth. The results when he used the chin strap were dramatic. His “incidents” dropped by a factor of 10.

I phoned him after I read your comment and he suggests that someone might want to try the chin strap first as it may solve or improve the sleep problem sufficiently to avoid the need for CPAP.

Not medical advise for sure but as with other comments on this site, I hope that it might help someone to have first hand experience advice from someone who has to deal with their sleep apnea issues. I know this issue can lead to heart problems like afib as well.

  4. Hope you get your ticker issues resolved soonest. My 6 month checkup Monday had the doc concerned about my lung capacity and O2 recovery timing due to my Covid session. Come on Doc, that was 9 months ago. She wants to schedule the dreaded stress test and possibly a sleep test. Odd since she took me off BP meds and is considering the Statins since my blood work has been good.
We made the doc visit an overnighter to give time to take a look over the rental place in town. Our best tenants in the galaxy have moved on to a nice assisted living place. Going to miss them. Had supper with my oldest son and his family. My youngest grandbaby girl is just 9 months. At dinner with the baby in my lap daughter in law tells us they are down to 1 last can of formula and haven’t been able to locate any since last Saturday. They are good for the next 8 or nine days. She called her pediatrician to see if she had any samples. Wife and I both are furious on the trip home. We hit every grocery store between town and the ranch. We found 4 cans I’m taking up this afternoon. That just effing cuts it. Don’t tell me you shut down formula processing plants out of caution and then don’t restart them for months after it is found there was nothing wrong to start with. Bullshit.

I don’t care what your or anyone else’s politics are. I go by the facts as they are. Along with everything else wrong with the state of our country it didn’t have to be this way. And it certainly in this case looks planned. I don’t care what your politics are, this is sick and disgusting.

Good luck and best results with the ticker tests.

  5. MR. Ure, On Fed rate hikes, I’m Stilling going by the old adage of “three steps and a stumble ” for markets.

Should see it coming any day now. Keeping my powder dry for the shopping experience.

Speaking of shopping experience, everyone load up on the final container bubble[ of 6 months ago] finally working through the supply chain before the big blank space of China’s latest lock down works through the system.

The markets being a discounting mechanism any anvil drop in the charts should presage the emptying of store shelve by no later than September/Octoberish. Until then this supply chain bubble might keep things solvent for awhile. That is if the money to purchase said retail isnt going into the gas tank…. Stagflation anyone?

  6. George, you nailed it with ‘mind set’. Mind set is everything!

That kind of meshes with what I was talking about yesterday with being driven but without a direction. If you don’t have the right mindset even with a solid direction you will not succeed.

Like a lot of young people there was a time when I worked harder at avoiding work than the actual work would have been. It was a mindset. Fortunately, the stupidity occurred to me before I was 19 and I started to change.

I was an enlisted man in my early military career and there were a lot of things about it that I didn’t like and I struggled with. The reason I didn’t like them is not because they were inherently bad or difficult. It was my loser mindset. Over time, I started to mature and take things more seriously, but it was a process. A lot of had to do with learning to believe in myself and to RESPECT myself.

I was an Army Reservist during and after I went to college. I originally wanted to go to ROTC, but this was the early 90s and the military was greatly downsized. My college essentially dropped their ROTC program during those years, so no dice. Sometime right after I graduated a friend and fellow soldier in the same outfit decided to go to OCS and encouraged me to do the same. So, I did what he did and I talked to our company commander about it. He told me to my face that I wasn’t cut out for it and that I should get it out of my head. That hurt and took the wind out of my sails in that regard. Not long after that the unit reorganized and I had to move to another organization.

After I was there for a short time one of the platoon leaders was making small talk with me and discovered that I was a college graduate. He immediately wanted to know why I wasn’t an officer. So, I told him my sad tale. He insisted that I apply to the Army’s direct commission program. Honestly, I was reluctant and still feeling the sting of the my previous commander’s words. Over 2 or 3 months they kept working on me and finally convinced me to apply. The company commander was all in on it and made it all happen. They put together a fantastic application package, submitted it, I sat for the interview and the rest is history.

From there my mind set completely changed and I realized what could be accomplished because of it. I was re-energized. I took on a ‘can-do’ attitude and I went out and DID. I’ve had a lot of success because of it. All of those things that I hated about the military I came to enjoy. I enjoyed them because I excelled at them. I excelled in them because believed in myself when before I didn’t. Not really. I believed what other people told me I should believe.

I’ve told this story countless times in my military career as an example of how anyone can be successful if they have the right people around them and can get in the right mind set. I’ve built a lot of successful teams this way, but more importantly I inspired people to make their own personal success in their lives and carry that forward into whatever they did later on. Some of them even became successful officers themselves.

I’m just a poor kid from rural Arkansas. A non-special nobody from a long lineage of hillbillies. That’s not an exaggeration. I made something out of what could have been nothing. I did it with nothing more than the right mindset. I often tell people that anytime they feel oppressed or that someone is holding them back that they should immediately go to the nearest mirror and confront their oppressor.

So, no matter what happens from here and even if through the turning of the world I lose everything, I will still have that mindset. I will be tough to beat. It’s all mindset.

    • “I will still have that mindset. I will be tough to beat. It’s all mindset.”

I totally agree especially on the topic of AI. Ya see information is important and knowledge and self awareness are useful tools.

As it relarss to AI. I saw a sicker inside the sound man’s box at The Eagles Show, when I was at the stage, right before i met Joe Walsh and later Elon in the Elevator that stood out. Inside his Box for keeping the music alive and precise was a little sticker that read, “There is no soul in a drum machine.”

So when I think about AI and it becoming self aware and taking the stage soon. I am reminded. “There is no soul in drum machine.”

And a soul is an extention of God.

No matter how powerful and knowledgeable a thing is or becomes, no matter how beautiful its rythem and beats? If it has no soul?

It’s never going to be a match for GOD and His extensions. Nor Anywhere as beautiful. Because a beat box can simply be unplug and right there AI has no afterlife. But a Soul goes on forever.

Even though I really like a guy like Elon. And I like George and I like you. I can respectfully disagree with Elon about AI. Which in his interview with Rogan, Elon told them, not to create AI. He said it is unbeatable. I greatly disagree.

Now if you pay attention to the that interview, Elons body language and expressions tell you AI is already active and alive. It’s not a future thing. It is current actuality. It is interactive with Humanity as I write this. And has been alive and interactive for a while.

It has no soul. Even it’s self awareness and grandiose realization of “who is like me? Am I not God like?” It can emulate life, but it is not life.

And I understand that every human interactions with is like nodes or souls, via cellphone and the premise of that. And i am aware of the artificial “wet brain” developing at MIT that uses chemical computing. Symbiotic and it’s usefulness for long range space exploration and the transfering of consciousness into it as a useful tool for space exploration.

However, if you don’t play nice? And be good?

No AI, you are not God like, you have no eternal soul. And with the flick of a switch? You don’t exist.

Cue: ~ Flick of the Switch ~

    • MAJ13, I also received my direct commission after eleven years enlisted (In the Air Force Reserves). Lots of active duty time plus extra “man-days” as a reservist. Four mobilizations. Total 28 years. Would do it all again.

      • There’s a few of us out there! You got me by a year in the enlisted ranks and year over all…I left at 27. I’d do it all again, too…including retire when I did.

    • Yo Maj,

Back in the day (1982) I was standing inspection at navy boot camp Orlando. Company commander was NavyChief-wore Diver pin, busted me with 50% unwashed laundry dressed neatly in my locker /something about attention to detail-I was billeted for BUDS class 120 “winter” they made training films from class surf passage training ops. Positive Mental Attitude trumps ALL.

      Peace

      • “busted me with 50% unwashed laundry dressed neatly in my locker /something about attention to detail”

there is a logical reason for the neatness of the bed.. daily cleaning and folded laundry in the military and if also affects daily life…..
Just look at the mind set of those in the ghetto.. and the psychological affect of the environment has on the people.. the children..
It is about consistency..which reinforces the idea of teamwork over individuality
It is about attention to detail..seeing a well made bed gives one a sense of pride and accomplishment..
It is about pride in appearance… Pride is about discipline, and discipline is what makes the military something other than a mob.

If you go into a home in the ghetto and it is well managed and cleaned regularly.. beds made etc.. that says a lot about the people there.. and their children are more apt to be college bound or at least make an attempt to make a life for themselves..
those children are less likely to join a gang.. forcing poverty on the people of the ghetto.. the neighborhood changes.. and a sense of pride is lost.. forcing mom to go to work every day takes the most important element out of the home.. the adult maturity and guidance..
        https://youtu.be/sBAqF00gBGk

      • We grew up poor.. but what was funny is.. we didn’t know we were poor or did we think we were poor..
I had very good pareents …that taught us a lot.. never back down work hard give your best to those you work for.. keep hope alive.. read research study and don’t take anything at face value..
In our home if you said I was bored.. you were so busy you didn’t have time to be bored.. if you said.. I would like to learn this.. then it was done they believed you should learn and expand your abilities.. example.. I wanted to make a pair of moccasins LOL my mom called the butcher shop and a cow hide was delivered.. now she expected me to tan the hide and process it.. which I did.. fleshing the skin was the hardest because I didn’t have a draw knife and I wore those mocs for years…. ( when I said that.. I had seen a moccasin kit at tandy leather LOL..all pre cut etc.. )

    • “anyone can be successful if they have the right people around them and can get in the right mind set.”

No truer words have ever been spoken @MAJ13..
Everyone has opportunities that pass them by.. if you have the right mindset and the ability to take advantage of those random opportunities..
I will never forget the guy.. one of the wealthiest men .. he was having a talk with his grandson and was telling him how to be a multi millionaire..
after the kid left I said jokingly that he should adopt me..
with his backing the kid is now a multi millionaire.. He would never have gotten there without grandpa’s help..

  7. George Ure for President has a nice ring to it.
5 minutes into a public debate and you and your cohorts would garner 90% of votes nationwide. Never forget= To spot the expert in the crowd, they are the one whom states the project will cost the most and take the longest time to complete.

    • Biden won on the “stupid voters.”

I can take that whole base, throw in crooks, charlatans, bankster, drug lords and border jumpers… Hell, I’ll win by a landslide. May already ahead of Beet-head here in Texas.

      • S ure he did.

Watch the blackouts in fall for next attempt to steal elections…

same deepstate time, same deepstate channel…

no worries though – Ure Vote counts ! bwahahahaahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahah!

Short SPY, Long Commodities..oh dem golden digicals.

        * Short USA, Short EU – Long Russia, Neut. China as no idea where this next earth moving EQ going to strike soonly.

      • Did you not learn the lesson of Ross Perot? Or Donald Trump? The deep state will not allow one who is not ‘their own’ to ascend to power. Trump had good ideas for ‘America First’. He was not allowed to implement them, and spent all his energy fending off false charges.

      • “Did you not learn the lesson of Ross Perot? Or Donald Trump? ”

LOL I VOTED FOR ROSS to @Hank in Hawaii.. LOL LOL LOL even have his vote for ross sign here someplace.. along with Rand and Ron Paul.. DJT’s sign was beautiful..(I didn’t even put it out.. screen printed water proof material.. beautiful sign.. he spent some real cash on it.. ) We are only offered people already corrupted by the system.. Ross and DJT even though they had their own lobbyists to get their ways with those that are bought and pimped out.. knew the ways that the never there congress were being used and I thought could get something done.. trump did more for the people with less help and support than any other president in history.. I truly believe that he seen the direction of the country and thought he could help.. with the print master and family.. I believe that any chance to turn the US TITANIC around is beyond the point of no return.. everything they have done is bad and will sink the ship.. my side of the social scale at the bottom of worthless eaters is going down fast.. the other end of the social class is being propelled skyward.. but.. that is only an illusion.. the dollars they are gathering are also depreciating at an accelerated speed..
and soon that tail to will sink..
I don’t even know if they dumped more water on the table right now with another stimulus check .. if it would keep what is dipping down so fast afloat.. a sibling of mine was telling me that the cost change for him and his truck.. is an increase of five hundred dollars a day in fuel.. right now.. and it is going up.. those costs have to be spread out.. take the pyramid back and it affects everything..

  8. Watch that Yen dude. Back in the day when I predicted Trump would win the presidency before he won the republican nomination, and that Biden would come out on top in the next election, on the time travelers thread.

“Japan has entered negative interest rates. Japan will collapse first, as the 3rd largest economy in the world it will create an economic tsunami. It doesnt take a Time Traveler to see that.”

    https://www.godlikeproductions.com/forum1/message1566198/pg79#56268871

Careful on that site. It’s the wild wild west. Lots Mk Ultra Kiddies hang out on there. Not for the weak minded. Not that there is anyone on here Urban that is weak minded.

There is also 2 people using the same handle as me on there and that thread is a uhh Rand Cooperate production, with no affiliation to me other than to prove to them, they don’t know shit. And like John Henry, Man can beat the machine. No matter what Elon says about AI. Man can beat the machine.

Because intuition and for-site is way more powerful than base knowledge.

And currently the Yen is collapsing.

When i looked at the Hang Seng, we a see the leveling out of a stair step, before another leg down. Competitively the US markets are doing much better than Asia. Hang seng is down over 9k this year compared to the dow being down 3k.

And the price of gas is way more in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Moscow. Car sales is down 17% in China. Housing market in China numbers are distorted. As in not accurate. They are hiding their housing collapse.

See if we aren’t buying shit in the US they make? They ain’t making shit. And if they ain’t making shit, they are not making money.

I don’t talk about the day to day economics stuff. I just mostly listen. As I told Dr Steve 1959 a long time ago, on the old web bot forum, prior to the introduction of the “bitcoin model” Japan will collapse first.

That was back in early 2009, when I told The good Doctor that.

That is the first domino to fall. And see it beginning to tumble now. You don’t need rocket science or tea leaves to know that any economy entering negative interest rates is doomed to fail.

And when I woke up this morning. I hear the rooster cro. Since I’m not denying Jesus as the savior. It must be coming to roost for Japan.

I paid $6.00 a gallon of gas last night. My friend in silicone Valley Paid $8.95 a gallon.

Also noted, the banks holding deposits longer. Several people mentioned that to me lately.

I try not to be a doomer, I don’t live in fear. I am truly Blessed and Highly Fortunate. Grateful to be alive. Loving life, however that doesn’t fuel my senses so much to deny the reality of the state of things on the world scale. It is prudent to be aware of things. But not to be a captive of fear of them.

Crypto is now at its bottom from my vantage point. Soon it will rocket upwards as the world scambles to find an alternative to Fiat. Which as the Yen collapse is happening, so will the other fiat currency follow suite. Because all the fiat currencies are like a the sequence in a deck of cards. Interwoven and dependant upon each other as having value.

The number one difference in the world today verses the Weimar republic example and Zimbabwe examples is the internet in at its current level of manifestation. Every economy is interwoven into each other. There is no isolated fiat currency in this modern world. Even the preverted exchange rates won’t be able to stop one currency collapsing from impacting another currencies collapse.

Ure ticker is healed. Miracles happen.

Back when I didn’t know what I know now, I tried to alter the course of things. And now I know what I know, and I was going about it with the wrong approach back then. So, I’m doing my best now. And even then I understand that it must unfold as it should. The beginning of the story is also the end of the story. Era’s and Aeons are no different. It begins with and ends with the same.

I got others to attend too.

  9. Fence lines – I’m in a subdivision but hit my fence lines with house brand Round-up.

The ground around tree and shrub bases look manicured too, but my secret is house brand Round-up. The perimeter around rocks/shed/etc hit with house brand Round-up for that fresh look.

There’s a distance between the yard object to actual mower blade that needs to be kept at bay with house brand Round-up. Overtime anything that’s needs to be hit with a trimmer has to get house brand Round-up.

It takes a year to get the lines under control.

I also use Ortho Weed-B-Gon and found it doesn’t kill plants that spread by rhizomes. So in the yard I have Cattails and such instead of flowers. I can spray between the Cattail stalks with Weed-B-Gon and it looks great.

    • Got to understand the risks with Round-Up.
Cancer is one. Starting point might be https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/does-roundup-cause-cancer
      Damage to environment is another.
Risk to future organic farming certs. But, there’s a delicate balance to be struck. Begin with https://rodaleinstitute.org/blog/wait-organic-farmers-use-pesticides/#:~:text=A%20product%20with%20the%20USDA,organic%20is%20more%20than%20that. and follow along.
The list goes on…A stroll and a small electric mower seems more like me.
So do the clippings for composting.

      • Remember being told the potato farmers spray the new potato fields with Roundup so they don’t have to hurry harvest them, but can leave them in the ground longer and are still new potatoes late into the season. We stopped buying new potatoes out of season.
Have planted red and white potatoes this year. Haven’t seen any potato bugs and plants are now flowering here in southern Canada. Guess I planted BT potatoes.
Colorado potato beetle (CPB) resistance has been achieved through the incorporation of a gene for the Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) protein into potatoes.
        Cheers,

      • But they said Roundup was harmless back in ’77. That’s when I started using it. Never took precautions till the last few years. Now I shower after spraying the fence rows. My neighbors spray all their GMO corn and beans twice. How much drift do I inhale each year? My cows used to eat the fence row grass that was sprayed with Roundup. Now I wait for the parkinsons and cancer.

      • Twenty yrs. ago I discussed Round-Up with local rancher. He stated it was so safe you could pour it on yer breakfast cereal.
He is now 72 and cancer finished.

      • I’m not being flippant. Are all the wild animals loaded with cancerous tumors? They live and eat and drink from the fields that are sprayed with Round-up.

How do I measure the risk of catching cancer from doing yard work Vs getting shot-down in a grocery store by a random nutjob or by filling my car with gasoline? A cancer warning label is right on the pump.

Most cell phone users should be loaded with brain tumors by now. Artificial sweeteners?

        I’m not into it.

      • “I’m not being flippant. Are all the wild animals loaded with cancerous tumors?”

Back in the day.. we rinsed barrels out in the ditches to.. Not to many years ago the US Govt.. convinced the inhabitants of the Bikini Islands that to allow them to use their islands that it was good for them to.. and just a few years ago they were trying to convince the native americans that storing used rods from power plants was good for them as well if the US could use their lands for a waste dump..
DDT was safe.. and effective I might add..Agent orange.. they told everyone in the Military that it was not only effective as a defoliant but safe for the people..
Most of us in the lab caught what they call pemphigus from the chemicals.. China was the worst polluted waterways but are not working hard at cleaning them because of the cancer rates.. the PNW the last report I had read they were watching to see how fast the cancer rate increases from Fukishima.. Its all in the business model.. you to decide for yourself.. there were some salesmen for cleaners stop by to sell their expensive cleaners.. NOW one of my past day labor hats was making cleaning solutions..and one of the salesmen in his attempts to get a sale.. drank the solution.. I KNEW what was in it.. and warned him not to ever do that again.. that even though the company says it is safe to drink and to do that for a hard sell technique.. it is not… the salesman wasn’t the brightest bulb but after I lectured him swore he wouldn’t drink it again.. ( I am sure that HE IS.. a huge effective sales technique )

      • @ Gary & Zeph:

Did youse guys never see the DDT magazine ad which featured a mother dusting her toddler in his bed, because it was so safe…?*

An eBay search will turn up the ad. An Internet search will turn up a number of recipes for “New York City Bathtub DDT” because it is apparently the single best insecticide against bedbugs, and the NaYawkers in the rent-controlled communities have taken to making their own…

      • “I’m not being flippant. Are all the wild animals loaded with cancerous tumors?”

IIRC Michigan has a serious problem with diseased deer…

    • A goat keeps our back yard fence lines trimmed neatly. The fence is made of cattle panels, so she can get her head through a hole near the bottom. The grass outside the fence is always better than what’s on the inside, but she cleans up the inside as an afterthought.

    • How to fry weeds.

1 1/2 gallons of white vinegar, 4 Oz of water mixed with 1tbspn of dish soap. pour all contents into a sprayer, shake. Apply liberally to weeds in the am on a sunny day [no rain forecasted in the next 24-48 hr] and watch them bake out in the Sunlight and shrivel up. Works great and is non toxic to pets. I skip the salt because it clogs the spray nozzle when it dries out.

  10. Garden water saver.. I know this doesn’t have much to do about todays post..
to water the plants.. they make a variety of things.. like..

the theory is simple.. fill the bulbs with water.. the water goes down and as it evaporates from the soil it draws from the bulb or bottle.. what becomes evident fast is that they don’t work that way.. the necks get plugged or there isn’t a draw when the soil dehydrates unles you do it right.. like with the bulb.. you bury a small plastic disposable cup.

    https://www.amazon.com/Cups%EF%BC%8CDisposable-Bathroom-Mouthwash-Cups-Espresso-Drinking/dp/B08R7KB6C4/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?keywords=plastic+bathroom+cups+plastic&qid=1654790613&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyOTVVQUYzREY5VTBaJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTUyNTE2MUtCQk5EREFPNEZGTCZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUExMDI2MjczMkY2QVdPQ1BNOEVYNyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=
poke holes around the top of it.. and the sides aimed at the plant…. then take a nail and heat it up.. then melt a hole in the bottom of the cup just big enough to put the bulb in.. now put paper towels or any fabric in the neck of the cup or put a piece of paper towel around the cup top and put a rubber band around it or a zip tie.. now bury the cup next to the plant with the holes facing towards the plant opening down bottom up…. then put the neck of the bulb feeder in the hole in the bottom.and let it drip..
the other way is the water bottle way.. take either a disposable water bottle .. cut it in half.. with the lid off piece of fabrick around the opening and a band or zip tie around the neck holding the fabric in place.. bury this next to the plant.. now take the same size water bottle and put a small hole in the lid.. fill with water and tip into the opening of the other water bottle.. two liters of water will last over night and save you water overall with plants.. row drip works is about the same.. except you poke a hole in the line going down the rows.. if you t off and run a line so that it offshoots and poke a small hole in each one put a popsickle or tongue depressor stick.. drill hole just big enough to run the small quarter inch line through it.. put the popsickle stick next to your plant and poke a small hole in the quarter inch line.. this will drip and follow the stalk down all day conserve you water..the ancients did drip irrigation in remote desert regions.. using clay pots.. and in ancient china using pipes made of bamboo to feed the water to the plants.. none of this includes the ancient hanging gardens of nebucanezar that used the drip irrigation and transference of water by clay growing beds tiered..
anyway this works.. and will save you a lot of water in the process..

    • I forgot to mention the vent.. on the water holding bottle.. on the bottom of that bottle.. take a needle and heat it up.. and make a really small hole to vent the air.. that will allow the water to be displaced as it drips..

  11. The “Malay Mail” digital newspaper has reported that Ukraine’s Mr. Zelensky will address delegates at a top rank global military staffer confab on Saturday in Singapore. The US Secretary of Defense also makes an address on Saturday and his Chinese counterpart has the last word on Sunday.

The Shangri-la Dialogue is held per tradition at its namesake hotel on Orange Grove Road owned by Malysia’s wealthiest person who resides in Hong Kong and is incorporated in Bermuda. The event was founded and is overseen by the London think tank “International Institute for Strategic Studies” (IISS). The IISS is headquartered on the site of the old Somerset House palace whose luxuriant baths were refurbished for Anne of Denmark, mother of King Charles I. A portrait of her Scottish jester hangs in the National Gallery of Scotland.

Elsewhere for consumers lower on the food chain the “Malay Mail” notes that a Singapore food staple of fresh chicken supply is running low. Apparently Malysia imposed an export ban of fresh chicken on May 26 that took effect on June1 for an unspecified term. Perhaps Mr. Zelensky can arrange for some frozen chicken kiev?

  12. I would buy a Tata Punch SUV, India’s safest SUV starting @ 5.82 Lakh.

    1 Lakh = 100,000 Indian Rupee and 1 Indian Rupee = .013 U.S. dollars.

    5.82 Lakh is about $7,500.

Thoughts on the Tata. Why not? It’s a nice weather proof vehicle.

    https://cars.tatamotors.com/suv/punch

    • Since you’re “pipe dreaming,” You might be better off paying the extra money for a Safari, in diesel automatic trim.

When I was an occasional visitor to the various VW forums, the Tatas in general, and Tata diesels in particular were a topic of considerable discussion…

The discussion-killer was always the monetary cost of getting a non-NHTSA-approved vehicle modified to “U.S. Standards” so our government would allow the owner to keep his property.

  13. Regarding looks for your places: Looking too shabby will annoy neighbors and attract lowlife kinds that think they can just comb your place for stuff to take. Looking like the rich guy in the area may attract the thug types, but will certainly help when dealing with local LEO and government types, as there’s a certain respect for success and keeping things well groomed. There’s a balance in between, where your place always looks highly occupied, things change outside regularly, and it looks like the occupants are aware and alert. Fixing fence lines does matter, though for those of us with such things greater than a mile, it’s a constant job. People drive off roads and into fences and then leave. You can see the tracks. Doing the job right is supposed to involve calling 811 each time to spot for digging. Good luck with that. T-posts alone are a bare minimum for fencing – more solid anchor posts are necessary.
Keeping animals fenced does keep the weeds down, but requires even more work, and in the case of livestock, even more reporting, etc. I do think it’s important to keep the area around the house and outbuildings(curtilage) relatively neat and well used. Failure to do this will not only invite trespassers, but can limit your rights to legally defend it.

  14. “I did not realize there even was a Hawaiian Pepper Water.”

I can see that.. I totally love spicey V-8….
    https://www.campbells.com/v8/products/v8-vegetable-juice/spicy-hot-vegetable-juice/

I am the only one here that loves to drink that one.. but in consideration of the other V-8 products.. we use a lot of regular V8.. and that is good drink as well as cooking use.. ( just don’t ruin your beer with it LOL)
so could I see spices is water.. absolutely.. I love lemon water.. and get it to add to my bottled water..

the big question is why spend the money and resources to dig this crap out..
we already know that the elite and politically powerful don’t have to answer for the laws of our country.
Then theres The whole DOJ working hard to cover over their activities..not to mention MSM and their steady work to cover over it as well and convince the masses of wage earners why they think it is all great goodies… the activities so immense it is a pure shock to even those with questionable ethics that they can get away with it all..
So seriously why waste the funds.. we already know there is a pardon in the wings for all their actions and activities.. and they can pretty much do anything they want..when they want..

  17. I had a visit with my PCP Doc on Tuesday, also. I have (I keep telling him) “White Coat Syndrome” where my blood pressure goes up when measured at the Doc office. At home resting, sitting at the computer I am typically 120/80. I have in the past had EDTA chelation therapy that cleaned out my arteries quite a bit, and I take supplements for the health of my ‘pipes’. So at the Docs office I pumped a 146/97. I brought in my home BP monitor to compare, and essentially got a similar reading. So as I am waiting alone in the exam room for the Doc, I did some deep breathing, relaxing, and took my pressure again while thinking of sitting at home at my desk. Now I am 127/84.

When the Doc came in I showed him the reading I had just gotten two minutes before. So the Doc gets out his cuff and takes my reading again. 155/97 from the Doc. I put my own cuff on and got an even higher 161/98! So I told him that he obviously increased my blood pressure. He calls this “Labile” or variable BP. He says if it is lower at home, and my AVERAGE pressure is lower it can be benign. Too much pressure will cause kidney failure. So now he is watching for protein in the urine at my next checkup. That will be his monitoring standard for deciding whether I need BP meds. I want to avoid that. I was on them 20 years ago and did not do well, and had to discontinue them.

As for the Hawaiian Chili Pepper water… we make our own. It is not ‘sauce’ thick… it is thin and watery. A recipe can be found here:
    https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/chili-pepper-recipes/hot-sauces/hawaiian-chili-pepper-water/
Note the large pepper slices…. This is NOT ‘Hawaiian Chilis’. Hawaiian variety are small, fingernail sized. Every home garden here has at least one bush. The challenge is to harvest them when they turn red, before the birds get ‘em. But if you want to grow your own….
    https://www.amazon.com/Hawaiian-Chili-Peppers-Seeds-Super/dp/B01C3VEYSC

Restaurants here just throw 5 or 6 peppers in the blender with 16 oz water and blend it to oblivion, and put it in an old, clean Sriracha bottle. Best if let fester for a day or two. The pepper pulp will settle out a bit, but shake before using if you want the full kick.

    • Hank if your Doc doest believe in white coat syndrome you need to find a new health care provider. I know from experience.

      • He never said he did not believe in “white coat syndrome”, but was simply going by the data he sees in the office. But I was able to prove it and show him.

    • “(I keep telling him) “White Coat Syndrome” where my blood pressure goes up when measured at the Doc office.”

One of my Doctors was a young woman I use to work with when she was going to school…very nice young woman..( she retired last year.. still gotta give her heck about abandoning me when I see her at the grocery store ) After she got her medical degree and became a doctor.. she would ask me about my BP.. I would joke and say.. well know you know the affect you have on me LOL LOL.. we both kidded each other about that.. then after the exam we would share photos of our kids and grand kids and visit about the good ole days..

  19. I’m sure the people across the street with all the new cars and toys would love for me finally rake the leaves and blooms off my yard to help their property values because all they do is work in their yards – which is fine if all you have is the one house. I’ve got 4 … and the ranch and with just this ol’ boy taking care of all of it functionality and upkeep is all that’s going to get taken care of.

Too, it’s funny how those folks keep everything locked up (their front gate NEVER had a lock on it with previous owners) while I’ve often left the truck unlocked with all my tools, and once my rifle, in it while parked on the street numerous times. To be truthful, though, they were being jerks to a lot of people before they got behind the effort to raise our taxes 21% because they thought the town would then be a place for only the well-heeled that could pay those rates when it passed. Thank God they got their butts handed to them.

    Good times….

Right now with the house in town I’d just as soon keep it early 1940s inside (I like it better than anything modern) and needing the paint job outside because the tax appraisers keep saying the house’s value is running up like the others in the area that have been totally updated with granite counters, carpet, new plumbing fixtures, windows and what have you – and they haven’t actually SEEN the house … ever. I made sure they knew an invitation to view was open in my latest protest letter to them. Still waiting on the plumbers to replace the original cast iron drain pipes under the house since last Fall but we did get 12 of the 33 windows in the house replaced after having them delayed 3 times since last Summer. Then there’s the non-grounded electrical system and original wool carpet.

The ranch house is finally ready for carpet in the kitchen so we can move the appliances back in after having the sink’s hot water valve spray it all down for a few days when the last thaw happened this past Winter. Hope none of them go “arky-sparky” and let all the smoke out (smoke is evidently pretty important to electrical things) when they get plugged back in but they had plenty of opportunity to do that when the water works went Free Bird on them. Got to figure out a design for the kitchen sink faucets, though, as I’m tired of the water valves freezing in the winter and having to look up the (almost) unobtainable cartridges that fit them. I’m going with galvanized pipe/Steam Punk configuration but I don’t think I can find a swivel for a single spout at Lowe’s or HD so it’ll probably be just two hose bibs sticking out of the old cast iron sink holes. Chrome rings might help the look. Now if I could only figure out what that lump coming up from the hardwood floor is. Hope it doesn’t grow any more.

    • Up hereabouts in snow country, every hardware store sells heated pipe wrap. Think of it as an electric blanket for your pipes. The wraps draw between 4-8 watts per foot and most are thermostatically-controlled.

      Here’s one:

      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002YWMM8

Wrap-on and Frost King are (or at least were) quality brands. Use foam insulation (duct-taped split pool noodle) to maximize efficiency.

If you leave a house without electricity, a Harbor Fright-sized portable solar charger, a suitable inverter, and a storage battery should significantly attenuate the possibility of a burst pipe…

      • I’d bet if I looked long and far enough I’d be able to find it even around here. Amazon, no dout. The house has a tendency to keep heat in that can be misleading, sometimes, so if the water still is flowing you don’t really think about it while you have a ton of other things to think about. These pipes are on the North side of the house and had survived the first freeze which was pretty much equal to the last one. Usually I leave the cabinet door open under the sink with one of the oil heaters facing these pipes in the worst times but for some reason didn’t this time. Slept since then.

  20. The police are running out of money to police. Raise taxes or stop supporting areas. Tell the occupants, “Move closer to the city!”

Michigan County Limits In-Person Responses To 911 Calls After Blowing Through Gas Budget

“The Sheriff’s Department of Isabella County, which is located just 80 miles northeast of Grand Rapids, announced that high gas prices had caused officers to blow through their annual fuel budget months before it would reset.

“We have exhausted what funds were budgeted for fuel with several months to go before the budget reset,” the sheriff’s office explained.”

    https://www.dailywire.com/news/michigan-county-limits-in-person-responses-to-911-calls-after-blowing-through-gas-budget

    • Not as bad as it sounds…

Over a third of Isabella County is Chippewa Indian Reservation. Additionally, there’s Central Michigan University and Mid-Michigan CC, and all three PDs have countywide jurisdiction.

Yeah, I’ve been there a number of times. The city of Clare is at the top of Isabella and the bottom of Clare Counties, and hosts the original of my favorite doughnut shop — Cops & Doughnuts. I have seen billboards over 300 miles away, advertising Cops & Doughnuts — as far north as I-75 south of Sault Ste. Marie, and as far south as just outside Cincinnati. Their stuff is really good…

      • “Cops & Doughnuts. I have seen billboards over 300 miles away, advertising Cops & Doughnuts ”

For good reason.. one of my hats was well you guessed it.. and working at a 7-11 type store.. we were told .. FREE Doughnuts and coffee to the men in blue.. anything they wanted on the hot rack.. the reason.. is people see a lot of customers.. no one except one kid in there working and no security of any kind.. its an easy mark for a few bucks.. what they don’t realize is there is very little cash in the till.. we dropped at every hour.. and we didn’t have the combo.. keeping the till down to twenty dollars and a buck fifty in the change.. that is why they always say.. no fifties or hundreds.. and today.. its almost all card..
I believe that is where the big doughnut police officer began.. they get free doughnuts and coffee for their breaks.. the clerk has a wonderful regular protection team at the counter. Good lord knows you see them come in to.. you can suspect something in their eyes.. during the reagan recession.. I worked at one.. one of the other stores the guy worked at he lived right behind the store I worked at.. and I worked one of my jobs next to the store he worked at.. he wanted to make the change.. well one of our safety things was to each check on each other every hour or half hour.. we eventually made the trade.. the very first night I gave him a call and he said dam I wish we had waited one more day.. what for.. he got thumped in the head for twenty bucks.. LOL ended up that he had to have stitches and everything.. we had one regular customer coming in.. dam he came in had the look then walked out .. he did that three times.. luckily we were doing the count inventory.. then we found out he went to another store where it was just a young woman and he killed her.. he came from a prominent family of lawyers and judges and thought he could get away with it.. they had camera’s which at the time was new and not normally used today everyone has camera’s .. he commited suicide in prison..

For the fun of it though.. dam would I like to see someone hijack a doughnut truck.. and then drive slow with the police chasing them.. seeing the slow speed chase of cops ( similar to the slow speed chase of OJ..) chasing a doughnut delivery truck.. tossing out the spikes LOL LOL it would be hilarious..

      • @LOOB

Cops & Donuts was the local bakery in Clare. It had been operational since the 1890s, but was headed toward “out of business” during the housing bubble of the 2000s. The cops on the Clare Police Department (all seven of ’em) and three of the Clare County deputies cashed out their retirements, pooled their money, and bought the bakery in 2007, keeping it open. My kids and I all have Cops & Donuts shirts, and my daughter has a coffee mug. I don’t piss money away on trinkets or tourist junk, but I made an exception for this place — It’s THAT GOOD, and the owners could do comedy if they ever retired from their police force…

  22. Word around rural farm country is…..Round Up will no longer be available come next year….No over the counter sales for Mr. and Miss Urban Parasite…. its being relabeled for restricted use only…

Do your own research to confirm this….

  23. Hmmmmmm at a cross road, well Everyone is. Spoke with some people tonight at a game night forming an SOC, and they never heard of the term. S.O.C. and each of them said they know of others forming S.O.C’s.

That hasn’t been a term I had heard or seen since my first coming to this site and my introduction to what is presented Here.

People are naturally pulling together and taking stock of supplies, who they can trust and gathering resources together.

What I find really interesting is they are all former progressive liberals. As one person said, “fuck! Our president is an idiot and whoever is pulling the strings on him, is damming our nation to a shit storm we may not recover from. We need to pull together as a team, take stock of what each of us can realistically contribute because the only way we are going to survive is by pulling together. These are super scary times ahead of us and we cant exepct the government who is doing everything to destroy our economy to help us. Eveyone should pay their rent 3 months ahead, and we should do an inventory of what we can trade between us. Like laundry soap for cold medicine stuff like that. ”

And all off them are new gun owners.

They looked to me and said we know you know what is up. We know you are a good leader. Any ideas on how we should do this?

I told them, the first thing you should do is not tell any of your neighbors or anyone at work. Keep it all under wraps. Keep as much as you can between you. Because when the have nots get desperate? They will be doing anything they can to take from those who have. And they will remember you told them you stocked up on this or that. ”

I told them, I probably won’t be here in this area. When shit gets really bad. Don’t leave home to go to the grocery store. Get everything you need now. So when everyone else is running to the store and it is chaos? You stay home, blinds pulled and don’t attract attention to your home. Hide in plane site.

If we go to hyperinflation? Because more than a few of them think we will. I said and you are eating good. Buy some baggy clothes, put rips in them, get them dirty, and If you have to leave the house. Only wear those. It’s all about perception. How others see you. When everyone else is hungry and looking think. You don’t want to walk out the house with a clean pair of clothes and looking like you ate a 12 lb turkey yesterday for lunch. And number one thing besides food and water is medical supplies. Get as much of that stuff as possible. Everything from bandaides, sunscreen to tooth numbing stuff for a bad tooth to theraflue. Get theraflue. It’s powdered and won’t go bad as fast, easier to store.

One Said get gold and silver to trade. I said you won’t find much value in that right away. It’s good to have a little.

For trade, you know what they used in the great depression? Chocolate, make up products and alcohol. If we go into hyperinflation and a massive famine where everything shuts down??? People will take a Hershey Bar over a silver quarter 99 times out of 100 or any kind of beauty product like a tube of lipstick or perfume over a chunk of silver or a pint of jack over two silver rounds. Nobody going to give a shit about silver or gold when they are starving. But they will barter for something that confronts them or makes them feel better about themselves. Especially if they have a tooth ache and can’t afford to go to the dentist or their is no dentists. That little tube of mouth numb will be a good barter item.

Rule number one tho. Pay only cash for your stuff. Park away from the tripod camera at the store, wear a mask and pull your hoody over your head. They are obviously tracking evey purchase and who is where and when.

Then one said can this even be really happening. I said well, hope for the best and prepare for the worse. All signs say yes. It’s going to get really ugly. I will more than likely bounce from the city before it does. The city is not a good place to be when everyone is pissed off and fighting over every scrap they can get.

My greatest asset is my relationship with THE DUDE, because HE knows the shit I don’t. And even tho I am well verses in understanding.

Afa me being “the one” as others around me have said more than a few times. And I am definitely not so bold to make such a claim.

I am reminded of the case of Navagator Peter Craig. A man who missed his life boat, thinking he was God. I think it is best to leave being God up to THE DUDE and I will be just Andy. See ya. Everyone should be preparing now. Good for them. I was told not to. Have a bag packed and put it by the door. That is what I feel is best. And always have a full tank of fuel and a fresh burner phone paid for with cash to go when told to.

Perspective about being the one. Found in….

An excerpt of episode titled “The Little People”

    https://youtu.be/ydbxuR_YV0Q

  24. One last key indicator. The house i purchased after my first divorce. 8 months after the last housing bubble collapse. Where this all started, a creation of Bill Clinton and his allowing everyone to buy a house. That is where the housing bubble started.

The house I purchased after the 2008 housing bubble collapsed on 2 acres built in 1950, big huge house I paid $183,000.00. I sold it 5 years later for $392,000. It is now available to purchase for $825,000. It just got listed.

So, from 2009 to 2022 that house went up in “value” from $183k to $825k in 13 years.

Huh. That is a modern day marvel if there ever was one.

Same exact house. Maybe they put in a better hot tub or sometime to help it go up in value more?

That or the real value of money went down that much. Can’t say I’m interested in buying it back.

    • “Where this all started, a creation of Bill Clinton and his allowing everyone to buy a house. ”

One of my siblings was talking about the free money they were handing out.. a welfare woman that was getting fifteen thousand a month and got a loan for a hundred and fifty thousand dollar house with no income showing on the books… etc..
well banks won’t lend to anyone that doesn’t have an income and welfare isn’t considered an income..
so the welfare one is a lie.. the handing out all the cash.. well I never made enough to qualify for any of that free money.. and could’t get a loan at any bank.. because of a hospital bill that I was tossed under the bus for.. my kid fell from a tree.. shoved a stick through the chest and a surgical team had to be flown in.. bak then I made below three dollars an hour.. the boss was gambling with the funds the employees were paying for insurance.. the insurance card was worthless.. the bill was around a half million..
I had to take small loans and pay them back .. ( eighteen percent loans) and build my own home from the ground up in my spare time while working two full time and one part time jobs..

Now I question how these kids today are doing it I know there isn’t a free money line.. those are just an illusion that people want to believe..(although one of my wifes old bosses.. got a billion dollar loan that he never made any payments on with crappy and shizty credit and a poor payback history.. so there are states that give away money .. just not to anyone in the lower social classes) .. a seven hundred square foot house materials is over a hundred grand.. so a home would be well over a quarter million.. you have to clear twelve dollars an hour to make the payment.. that doesn’t even take into account the car payments the insurance payments.. daycare etc etc etc.. all the increases while the average age is twelve dollars an hour…
Rent has gone up.. one of my grand children was commenting that to rent an apartment now if you go to a nice section of town is over 1600 a month.. you can get one in a bad neighborhood for a thousand..all in an area of low cost living..
I tried to take on a part time job and was quickly reminded of my limitations.. anyway the insurance they offer the workers.. is just shy two grand a month.. for an individual.. more if your married.. in a job that only pays twelve dollars an hour..

    • Gotcha beat there, Andy. I bought the refurbished Volcano Ranch here for $97k when lava flows were threatening the area. Now worth about $250k in five years. The catch is that in this lava threat zone, no one will insure it, so one cannot get a mortgage on the property. Cash sales only in this area. But I’m not selling in this lifetime.
