At the Corner of Insanity and Sleaze – Stability Take a Hike

We do more than “cyclical economics” around here. We watch the winds of change.

And today? Those winds are spooling up to hurricane-strength.
Because Donald Trump’s biggest enemy may not be Biden, the DOJ, or the Deep State…

It might be Donald Trump.

Evidence Piles Up

All it takes is a quick scan of the press to see what’s ahead. Even this can be misleading, though. Because we know there is plenty of Deep State influence. Though the masters of illusion have cleaned up their “coordinated labeling” campaign so common emo-words are falling a little bit further apart now…. Too many people were getting wise to it…

Unfortunately, a lot of (once) supporters are put in a bind by all this behavior bouncing.  Trump’s in a job where he was expected to be a kind of “keel for the country.”  Stability, consensus, direction, and a visionary implementer of change.

Disappointing so far.

What’s Missing?

Glad you’re asking!  What a lot of people have missed, waht we figure  was a very credible “sit-rep”  laid out in the Eric Weinstein interview this week.  Weinstein had met Epstein some years back, And doubted after talking to him whether he knew much about finance. He was more troubled that Epstein knew so much about his (Weinstein’s) math and physics work.  They had met at an obscure conference on Confronting Gravity which Weinstein was invited to because he is a mathematician and bright in physics to boot.

What was Epstein doing as such a conference?  Think “intel gathering.”  Block 2-hours because this video is worth it:  “Jeffrey Epstein was the product of at least one element of the Intelligence Community…

In this, the Big Pieces are one (or more) intel agencies – the same one’s the beat down on certain types of science coming to the public’s attention, and a likely structure to “manage their world” for the benefit of people (but not you and me).  It’s a very good thinking tool to have because it explains why anyone in the Oval doesn’t want “it” – the Big Bad Secrets about intel owning Future – doesn’t want to cross-swords with the real paradigm masters.

That is – as we figure it (there was a Kennedy warning, right?) why Trump is acting like he’s cornered in a rat maze.  He very likely is.

Under U.S. law, Trump may not run for President again in 2028 – he’s had his two terms.  Between now and ’28 though, brace for claims that “Because Biden cheated, he should have gotten that term.”  Obviously, that kind of ploy won’t work.  But what is almost predictable is Trump being on the ticket as the next VP.  So his “current treasure map of Future” probably looks like this:

He’s trying to do a controlled detonation of a roadside IED which is what Epstein files have become.

How the Review Misses It

For now, green lighting another attack on Iran is parked,  But, War is always a growth industry:  Syria denies sending troops back to Sweida as clashes resume.

Something is wrong in modern “J-schools” or, at least largely missing.  In the “old days” the really good reporters had figured out that there was always more to  story than spending time in the “newspaper morgue” looking up obscure factoids that make good “backgrounder stories.”

The best of the best – who I watched first-hand – would focus instead on who the “power players” were, what their designs and goals are, then “think alongside of them”  in order to be able to “anticipate future well” on behalf of readers.  Not much of that is taught now.  Instead, a soupy gruel of “social justice” and “skin-tone marketing” with a slathering on of self-righteous indignation is dished up.

But here – with the Weinstein interview – you’ll see a new composite.  It’s not what the partisan press is serving.  They want you to choose up sides and smell armpits over things like pedophilia.  OK, got it.  BUT it doesn’t explain what the composite person was doing meeting Weinstein, knowing about Weinstein’s advanced physics work and a gravity conference.

What this clarifies is that the real, actual behind Epstein is likely (based on what we know from sources today) is likely to include:

  1. Epstein was likely involved with govt. intel agencies and prbobly not just the U.S.
  2. Pedophilia was almost certainly going on…which gave intel clubs veto power over voter agendas.
  3. But ALSO the intel groups are custodians of the whole Paper Asset Paradigm.  (PAP)

When we line up the data sets, we see an outline of two continuum’s. Domains in our odd analytical view.

  • Pedophilia and sexual abuse was somewhere between 1 and 99 percent of the op.
  • But, so too, intel control over the paradigm. could also have been 1 to 99 percent.

The only point to watching further developments on this are two-fold.

  1. Assigning numerical values to the intel/perversion spreads.  60/40 sex vs. control might be a starting bet. Which will inform us a great deal about what Weinstein calls America’s “living in The Truman Show” problem.
  2. Then, depending on how the revelatory proceses run, it will also inform us as to Donald Trump’s personal future.

That’s a very interesting tale, but hard to follow if you just stack up “story puzzle pieces” which is what the child journos are doing.  Because the old-school guys – those of us getting gassed on the courthouse steps in the sixties and seventies? Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.

We’re good sitting this one out. Because as Elaine and I mashed it up over wine last night, there is functionally nothing We Little People can do to bend the trajectory of incoming future. Trump survives and probably runs as a VP candidate in 2028.

Or, he doesn’t.

We won’t go further except to say these event outcomes will tip you off as to who is really running (this Truman Show remake).

Even if we knew with some confidence?  Still in “chop wood, carry water” mode.

Remember Bibi still wants Iran’s nukes gone. And Iran’s got a score to settle with us for those B-2 runs.  Hot days of summer, tinder dry mountains out west, sleeper cells and road flares? Remote viewers seeing “ash falling?”

Write your own nightmares, though. But however the scripting, just remember the bad-guys aren’t (always) “bad” and the good-guys aren’t (always) “good” either. Snow plow flags is the best any of us on the outside can do. For now.

So, How About Them Housing Numbers?

That just hit the street…

Building Permits
Privately-owned housing units authorized by building permits in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,397,000. This is 0.2 percent above the revised May rate of 1,394,000, but is 4.4 percent below the June 2024 rate of 1,461,000. Single-family authorizations in June were at a rate of 866,000; this is 3.7 percent below the revised May figure of 899,000. Authorizations of units in buildings with five units or more were at a rate of 478,000 in June.
Housing Starts
Privately-owned housing starts in June were at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 1,321,000. This is 4.6 percent (±10.6 percent)* above the revised May estimate of 1,263,000, but is 0.5 percent (±9.9 percent)* below the June 2024 rate of 1,327,000.

        Newly declassified records from
        @DNIGabbard
are additional, compelling evidence that the 2016 Russia Collusion narrative was not rooted in credible intelligence reporting, but manufactured to fit a preferred political narrative.

Gabbard has taken the rare and transparent step of declassifying a December 2016 draft of the President’s Daily Brief or PDB.

This highly classified record, which is a daily national security analysis for the President, assessed that “Russian and criminal actors did not impact recent US election results by conducting malicious cyber activities against (election) infrastructure.”

But after push back from the FBI, then led by James Comey, the PDB was spiked “based on new guidance.”

After a White House Principals meeting, a new intelligence assessment was commissioned, and media leaks followed, reinforcing a new narrative that “Russia intervened in the 2016 election to help Donald Trump win the presidency, rather than undermine confidence in the U.S. electoral system.”

ok liddle one,,, where did the DNC server go? you know Comey had the investigation,, the crime was exposed, Seth Rich was killed over it, but somehow CloudStrike ened up with it. Y

        “FBI and DNC Server
The FBI did not directly investigate the Democratic National Committee (DNC) servers following the 2016 cyber intrusion, as the DNC opted to use the private cybersecurity firm CrowdStrike for the investigation instead. The FBI was not given access to the servers for hands-on analysis, which went against standard forensic practices, as noted by former FBI Director James Comey, who stated that the original device or server is the best evidence in such cases.

There are several reasons speculated for why the FBI did not insist on taking possession of the servers:

Narrative Protection: The Department of Justice (DOJ) and FBI may have allowed CrowdStrike to handle the investigation to avoid having to store CrowdStrike’s reports in their files, where they could become discoverable and potentially inconvenient to the Russiagate narrative.”

The report notes how Manafort shared internal Trump campaign polling data with Kilimnik and says there is “some evidence” Kilimnik may have been connected to Russia’s effort to hack and leak Democratic emails, though that information is redacted. The report also says “two pieces of information” raise the possibility of Manafort’s potential connection to those operations, but what follows is again blacked out.”

where is the server, why does CrowdSrike have it and not the FBI,,,,, it is not a piece of US election equipment but is/was owned by the DNC, it is a server,,, not government property or voting equipment

as to Russian meddling with voting equipment ,,, that was NOT mention by either side,,, I don’t recall equipment mentioned by the 51 Spies who lied, there is the crux,,, they lied as government agents to coup a sitting president,,, TREASON it is,,, GOOGLE it, I did it for ya here,,,

          “51 Spies Lied
The term “equipment” in the context of the “51 spies who lied” does not refer to physical tools or devices but rather to their roles as former intelligence officials who leveraged their reputations to influence public opinion. These individuals, including former CIA directors and intelligence officers, were involved in drafting a letter that downplayed the significance of the Hunter Biden laptop story, asserting it bore “the classic earmarks of a Russian disinformation operation”.
Their actions were criticized for manipulating the political process and undermining democratic institutions, rather than for any specific misuse of physical equipment.

“The focus of the controversy was on their credibility and the implications of their involvement in political discourse, particularly given that some were still on the CIA payroll as contractors at the time.
”’ There is no mention of any specific equipment”’ being central to their activities or the subsequent revocation of their security clearances by President Trump, which was aimed at addressing the breach of trust in their dissemination of what was perceived as misinformation.

AI-generated answer. Please verify critical facts.”

but you twist the truth till it is not recognizable,,,
you inserted ‘equipment’ to an existing story, so you
‘fact-check’ your own lie,,, how demonic

I hate insurance industry and even after cutting the policies to the bone still pay out more than twenty-five percent of our total gross income on policies that they won’t ever pay a dime on..and if there’s a claim..they send out an adjuster whose job it is to tell you your stuff is worthless..the engineer that lived in our spare room had it all..the big beautiful house on the hill a luxury condo for vacations.. Katrina and the insurance company tossed him and his family under the wheels of the bus..then a deepwater oil drilling rig explosion and spill pulled him in to give testimony ..he told the truth and was black called by the industry he loved. homeless driving across country living in his car he had a heart attack and I got to know him..he never could accept the fall ..he hadn’t all then nothing..A pile of degrees and none of them worth the cost of printing them up..

since I can’t see throwing money away I would take the lesser cost..since I doubt any of them would actually pay.
my wife’s catastrophic health policy if instead had been invested in savings bonds.. then reinvested after they matured we would have just why a million dollars.. instead to be able to see a doctor in a clinic setting and past history of medical bills..that an ER visit is twenty times the cost of a clinic visit..we took the insurance that didn’t pay for anything..

n-____ All insurers lie. A lot! Before you dive in for low numbers, my suggestion is that you better read both sides to reveal the hidden, fine print.
When you make a claim, that’s when the deny, delay and depose come into play. They all play the game so read that fine print again… They will want you to answer questions on a recorded line but you won’t get to hear the questions first.

      • All..of the lie..Insurances is nothing more than gambling..it’s meant to pool communal risk—so when catastrophe strikes, resources are available to help rebuild lives. The trouble arises when profit motives outweigh protection motives. Some insurers now behave more like casinos: rejecting claims, exiting high-risk markets, and shifting burdens onto consumers. Some insurers now behave more like casinos: rejecting claims, exiting high-risk markets, and shifting burdens onto consumers…when trust breaks down, and coverage becomes conditional, expensive, or inaccessible, insurance stops being security and starts feeling like exploitation. That’s why community-based cooperatives or mutual aid networks are gaining traction—less gambling, more solidarity. like the samaritanHealth services..which is great..and reasonably priced.. I tried to get into a plan unfortunately they don’t acknowledge the LDS religion as a religious organization but more of a cult and would not a religion there have been some criticism for not recognizing Latter-day Saints (LDS) as part of what they define as “Biblical Christianity.” This has led to situations where LDS members were asked to reconcile their beliefs with the organization’s Statement of Faith in order to remain eligible. they told me to renounce my faith and seek a real church and become a member for one year before they would allow me to get a policy. now on the same token the Amish self insure..The Amish approach to “self-insurance” is built on mutual aid and trust, not bureaucracy. There’s no monthly premium, no policy exclusions, no convoluted claims process. Instead, when someone in the community faces illness, accident, or loss, the network mobilizes—families contribute funds, offer labor, and ensure that healing is holistic and dignified. It’s insurance as compassion in action.
What’s remarkable is how this model works..when I went there last year to get cucumbers the view was nostalgic as a Norman Rockwell village painting. except for having to deal with the ladies teasing me over my gardening abilities..( which was great fun by the way) I didn’t see any financial anxiety around medical care
Reinforces spiritual and social bonds which Bypasses the impersonal calculations of the commercial system
Keeps priorities rooted in human wellbeing, not profit margins and young men and women don’t have to deal with Satan at the hospital collection services. children that seek a higher education get it without being forced back into the social class they came from by high cost financial obligations.

        No insurance company loses money.

I have been with State Farm for over 20 years. When I signed with State Farm, they were the best insurance company in the nation. Two years before I signed, they were the worst. They were notorious for non-payouts and claim denials. The Feds stepped in, slapped them with an historic fine and jerked all the kinks out of their chain.

I know people who had the same experience with Allstate. Then THEY got their crooked lines straightened out and became a really good insurance company.

This is cyclical. It’s almost like the InsCos are spring-powered, and become crap companies as their springs wind down… until the gummint regulators step in and wind the springs back up.

Allstate has become notorious again, for denials and nopays. (State Farm, the principal fire insurer in the L.A. Basin, is going to follow suit within the next couple years.) This is likely why they are offering a really good rate. If you can wait until the Feds sit on them again, you’ll get an even better rate and likely, an insurance company known for swift and satisfactory payouts.

I had an auto accident with one of their insured (which he caused and was cited for) and they proved so hard to deal with I got approval from MY insurance company to work with MY company’s claims person.

I did that, got great easy results, and at the end they just presented All State with the bill and FORCED All State to pay the claim during the inter company monthly settlement meeting

(once a month all the big insurers got together in a conference room and balanced out all the claims they had against each other – unless a serious objection was raise about a particular claim they settled them out dollar for dollar …. do NOT know how they do that today.)

Based on my experience of having a claim AGAINST one of their insured I would never get insurance from All State.

I wonder if anyone explained they could not take them back to Japan with them?

    • Follow that $1+ Billion hoax money trail!!
Epstein bank flow over 1$ billion per just one bank (there were 3 other banks)
‘Meanwhile, Wyden referenced a report in the New York Times that goes into greater detail of what some of Wyden’s staffers found when going through confidential files, who say Epstein moved money through several banks to fuel his sex-trafficking network.

“Last year, the Biden administration allowed Finance Committee investigators to look at portions of the file in person over at the Treasury building,” he began. “Treasury’s Epstein file details 4,725 wire transfers adding up to nearly $1.1 billion flowing in and out of just one of Epstein’s bank accounts. If you ask me, that’s potential lines of investigation right there.

“Again, these are all potential leads the Department of Justice ought to be digging into. This is about years and years of international sex trafficking. None of this is a hoax. None of it is a scam. It’s insulting to the intelligence of the American people when Trump and Bondi say there’s nothing here to investigate here.”

‘As former Congresswoman Jackie Speier sadly wrote, Epstein’s “15-year client relationship with JPMorgan ChaseJPM +0.7% exceeded the ages of some of his victims.” This is a bank that invests millions of dollars in sophisticated technological systems to price financial derivatives and to measure the value-at-risk of its multi-billion-dollar capital markets portfolios. Yet, we are to believe that it did not have the systems to spot irregularities in Epstein’s financial transactions for sixteen years.

Earlier this summer, Deutsche Bank also agreed to pay $75 million in lawsuit settlements, since after JPMorgan no longer wanted Epstein, he became a client. Somehow, no one at Deutsche Bank thought to ask why Epstein was finally no longer welcome at JPMorgan?

‘It would be great to think that JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank executives, and those of other big banks, have learned their lesson about not allowing sex traffickers to be their clients. Unfortunately, while $440 million is a lot of money for ordinary mortals, it is not, for multi-trillion-dollar banks. Recidivism at banks is high. Until legislators care enough to design laws that can close banks down for facilitating human trafficking, bank executives and their shareholders will continue to place profits above people.’

  8. (“supporters are put in a bind by all this behavior bouncing. Trump’s in a job where he was expected to be a kind of “keel for the country.” Stability, consensus, direction, and a visionary implementer of change.”)

The collapse of civilizations often mirrors a broken business model—one that thrives until greed consumes the upper echelons and the weight of survival falls unjustly on the laborers. As we watch the U.S. drown in debt, with fiat currency wobbling under trillions in deficit and interest payments now exceeding income, it’s clear we’re nearing a tipping point. Trump was expected to act as a stabilizing keel—a visionary guiding the country through crisis. Yet in confronting the financial decay and the hollowing out of the dollar’s value, he’s changing course dramatically. His erratic policies may not be aimless—they might be a calculated response to a system already in freefall. When the foundations are this cracked, bankruptcy isn’t failure—it’s the only honest reckoning left. And history warns us: the more power distances itself from the hands that built the house, the more the house is destined to collapse.Lets take a peek.. this totally looks like a young boy just learning to shave.. once a month whether I needed to or not.. A half million in medical debt at twenty four percent interest and an income of three dollars an hour…we are upside down..trumps knows what it feels like being upside down in a business situation..what I see now is just optics to keep the ones that pull the strings believing they are going to succeed.
The U.S. national debt has surpassed $36 trillion, and prediction markets forecast it could reach $46 trillion by 2029.
Interest payments alone exceeded $1.1 trillion in 2024, now outpacing defense spending.
The budget deficit continues to grow, with annual shortfalls around $2 trillion, meaning the government borrows more than it earns.
The debt-to-GDP ratio is projected to rise from 99% to 116% by 2034, a level historically associated with declining empires
While the U.S. can technically never “go bankrupt” in the traditional sense—because it can print its own currency—the real risk lies in investor confidence. If buyers of U.S. Treasury bonds begin to doubt repayment or the dollar’s stability, the system could unravel. This is already happening in subtle ways.Foreign central banks are reducing dollar exposure and buying gold.
Moody’s downgraded the U.S. credit rating, citing governance risks and unsustainable debt.
Interest rates are rising, making debt more expensive and crowding out spending on social programs..Trump is pivoting in response to the dollar’s fragility—is supported by recent moves. His “Big Beautiful Bill” includes sweeping tax cuts and spending reductions, but adds $3.4 trillion to the debt.. we are what spending a trillion every what six weeks now..next year it will be every three weeks at the present escalation and building of interest charges..hey that’s like that dental bill at forty percent interest..gosh how it all mirrors real life of the average moron in the wastelands..His tariff strategy, dubbed “Liberation Day,” aims to reduce imports and boost domestic production, but has triggered global uncertainty and recession fears. But in doing so.. it’s exposing the fragility of a system hollowed out by decades of off shoring, where industry leaders chased cheaper labor and looser regulations abroad.the paradox of their actions..Tariffs raise import costs, which theoretically makes domestic goods more competitive.we’ve outsourced so much that the infrastructure to produce those goods at scale no longer exists here.instead of revitalizing industry overnight, consumers bear the brunt—higher prices, fewer choices, and inflationary pressure.
It’s like trying to rebuild a house by taxing the bricks you used to import, without having a local kiln anymore. So instead of revitalizing industry overnight, consumers bear the brunt—higher prices, fewer choices, and inflationary pressure..Is this intentional..my moronic thought is …yup.. then the thought..The idea that global powers might escalate military conflict to rescue collapsing fiat systems is no longer just the stuff of speculative fiction—it’s a sobering possibility rooted in historical precedent and emerging strategy. As the U.S. dollar teeters under the weight of unsustainable debt and diminished trust, some argue that war could become a lever to reset economic balances, reignite domestic production, and reassert dominance. Could the increasing rhetoric around long-range missile deployments and heightened global tensions be more than just political posturing? Is it possible that beneath the surface lies a coordinated attempt to defend a crumbling monetary foundation through conflict rather than reform? We do not rebuild broken empires by borrowing their greed. We rise by remembering what it means to serve the flame of life of those that walk beside us—not our own ambition, but the shared warmth of compassion, truth, and the dignity of every soul. Let us turn from war and debt and division, and walk together toward resilience shaped by ethics, not economics. For we are not here to destroy one another. We are here to sustain the light. of course I’m a moron at the bottom.. I’m sure those in power can justify the whole business model that they are seeking..

  9. Good morning from the HeartLand. If inclined to label “fly-over” well, please do.

Cowboys and Indians. Casinos here-a-bouts are owned by tribes. Local tribe is the Potawatomi of Indiana (though, state lines were burred, them being heathens). Ran a bazillion errands starting with Township Hall (*) and ending, at a Four Winds Casino to meet a life-bud (read: 68 years since we met). His choice but, I thought to agree to any meet anywhere any time. He was in a rush to go gaming, me not so much.

Rolled into the poker rooms and stared at the action. There was one table playing straight poker, 7 card stud, no frills. Despite focus I couldn’t identify who the sucker was among what was probably a table of regulars so, in display of humility, I shrank away (knowing it might be me).

Played some BlackJack with my pal, a game I love since it’s all math. In the old days, counting a 104 double deck was entirely possible. Today? More akin to playing an on line computer. We had fun, I kept my actual stake in my pocket and … detached my bud while he was ahead. Indians? Flesh wound mateys. Next time… film at 11.

(*) living in the Green Acres world : we now fully own (2) tracts of property, one on the lake, one up at road level on which the pole barn (tool slut heaven) resides. A couple weeks ago I receive the expected summer property tax bill but, only for the barn parcel, not the house. Ugh. Worst-first : go deal with local government. Nope, slicker than the skin off a banana. Explained to receptionist girl (I am the _only_ person not getting paid to be there) about a missing tax bill. Kathy can help you (she gestures). Me : Over there? Can I go in there (this being behind the counter inner sanctum office). Her: Sure. Me: Hi, Kathy, repeat re: missing bill, she looks up the record for the one I brought with and shazam, yep, here it is, girl (showing DOS knowledge) goes CTRL P and out comes a duplicate bill.

It took me longer to describe this than complete task. Would it work that way where you live? We used to be proud residents of South Bend, IN and … had this required trip to County City Building I’m thinking 3 hours, minimum.

I live a charmed life. Got home from a hard day of errands and gaming, to a lovely afternoon. Did off with city wear and got comfy. Sat at the boathouse patio as Mrs. E popped out to ask if I’d like a cocktail? Uhm, sure hun. Out she comes with Martinis. That’s my girl :0) how was your day? I think it was be quick so she could tell her day with GFs.

Maybe not Green Acres. Maybe I am Ricky Riccardo.
    Lucy I’m home …

SO… isn’t it interesting that just as MAGA is breaking up and the Epstein stink is running hot and smelly… comes the story about a Donald Trump health issue. Just a coincidence? Not likely.

So he has a health issue that comes out publicly right at this time. So here’s the deal. They are laying the groundwork for a resignation for ‘health reasons’.

There might be some legitimate health issues. He doesn’t necessarily eat right or live a healthy lifestyle. BUT… as we know it’s the Deep State issues that are always paramount in The Indispensable Nation. And things are currently lining up to lead an aware person into a clear direction of thinking about the future.

Patterns can be seen but only when you bother to notice them…

    • What I see is..After Trump examined the true scope of America’s financial instability, he found the situation so dire that radical solutions were the only option. The “Big Beautiful Bill” i believe is less about economic repair and more about strategic appeasement—crafted to satisfy powerful industrial and societal leaders whose influence shapes public confidence. It’s not unlike the grocery store I worked at where upper management ignored how the wealthy gamed the system for free food—not out of fairness, but because their continued presence helped endorse and elevate the store’s image among employees. In both cases, the core values are eroded while the illusion of stability is preserved for those at the top, leaving the everyday contributors to bear the hidden cost. I believe he’s hoping to push the noodle along till his reign ends.no different than California buying and building illegally refugees new homes or Biden’s wish to give each a hefty amount of cash..

    • On the same thought I believe he’s toying with war.. that if we win we gain capital to rebuild the dollar.. either way we are toast and at best a new Weimar style depression. if we take a look at the k wave..the depression that’s coming will make the Weimar depression appear like a trip to Disneyland. If the Kondratieff Wave theory holds true—suggesting we’re entering the “winter” phase of a long economic cycle—then the next depression could indeed dwarf historical collapses like Weimar’s, especially given today’s global interconnectivity and debt saturation…
The Weimar Republic’s hyperinflation was catastrophic, but it was largely confined to one nation and one currency. What we face now, if the K-wave winter deepens, is a multi-systemic unraveling: fiat currencies strained to their limits, sovereign debt spiraling, and trust in central banks eroding. In that context, your metaphor—Disneyland compared to what’s coming—isn’t hyperbole. It’s a warning.I see that easy credit is the last thread holding the tapestry together. It’s what keeps consumption afloat, markets liquid, and governments functioning despite deficits. But it’s also a double-edged sword:

    • I have CVI. I’ve had it for years. It is an exceedingly minor affliction, and of no consequence. For years I thought it was somehow cardiac-related. It is not. The veins in our legs possess “check valves” to enable blood to circulate up, out of our legs and back through our body, when we are standing. With age, the seals on the check valves begin to leak.

Would you retire because you got a pimple? CVI is about as consequential as a pimple. DJT is not about to resign because of a case of CVI.

Mine was much worse than Trump’s. I have stumbled upon a combination of supplements which seems to have cured it. I do not wear support hose and unless I’m on my feet for 10+ hours straight, now have no noticeable edema in my legs or feet.

  14. So some Congressmen are talking about bringing up a vote to [try to] force the release of the Epstein material?

Thought occurred to me just yesterday: could we see some machination between the Executive and Legislative branches, a tug-of-war to get the material released? With the President and/or AG refusing, holding out, while the Congresscritters demand and demand… until
they vote to force the release,
    Trump vetoes,
    they override,
Trump/Bondi shrug, and release the material…
and then everyone discovers that the list of people implicated doesn’t include Trump.

His current actions suggest that he would be implicated, but it would be a real schadenfreude moment if it turned out that he was angling to get other people to take the responsibility for destroying the careers of many influential people.
