since september of last year i have had no job. no real 40 hour a week job. i have a side hustle that i found a few months ago driving a solo dumptruck couple few times a week. sometimes i work 5 days in a week. prior to that i went an entire 6 months without any viable income source and yet! all my bills got paid, i always had food, a car, a place to live, full tank of gas, coffee, smokes, gym membership, a warm beautiful woman in my bed. i went to concerts and shows, hit the race track at Emerald Downs for the Bellmont Stakes, went to the auto races a few times, out dancing, more than a few mariners games, the waterslide park for a day, went the maritime instute to be become a merchant marine, created a couple websites, bought a travel agency i am going to launch in the near future and at the end of the month and all my bills are miraculously paid. something always comes through and they are always paid. without any source of income, only by Faith.
for 5 months, at the end of the day, i always ended up with $50 in my wallet. all in five dollar bills. it was the strangest thing. no matter if i spent them all early in the morning at the end of the day i had fifty bucks in 5 dollar bills at the end of the day. ten, 5 dollar bills. then after 5 months i had 100 dollars cash in my wallet, four 5 dollar bills and 4 twenties. i would wake up in the morning take them all to the bank and some how something would happen and at the end of the day i would have 4 twenty dollar bills and 4 five dollar bills back in my wallet again. every day! since then it has become $500. no matter what i do some thing happens and at the end of the day i have $500 cash in my wallet. i got home last night and had only $400 cash in my wallet and said Aha! today is differnt! then went to do laundry and was cleaning out my pockets and found 4 twenties and 4 five dollar bills.
i just laugh and say Thank You!
i suspect soon it will become $5000.

its funny i rememeber back when i had $54,000 in savings and $17,000 in checking. it was my “cushion”. i could live free without worry because i always had that in the bank. i was making $175,000.00 a year as a Union Man with as much overtime as i could want. i didnt watch gas prices or think about any purchase. i just pulled up to the pump and put gas in my car. if i wanted it at the store i didnt check the price, i just swiped and bought it.

My good deed was to get the gas cans out of the abode-attached garage shed and relocated to an isolated plastic storage shed across the driveway. One ham friend lost his life when his gas cans caught fire under the house storage. I don’t get fire insurance living in the volcano ‘lava zone 2’ . Just a few months ago a fire gutted a home up the road. I pity the family. Total loss, no insurance.
