The S&P Cotality Case-Shiller U.S. National Home Price NSA Index, covering all nine U.S. census divisions,reported a 0.9% annual gain in January, down from a 1.1% rise in the previous month.
The 10-City Composite saw an annualincrease of 1.7%, down from a 2.0% increase in the previous month. The 20-City Composite posted a year-over yearincrease of 1.2%, down from a 1.4% rise in the previous month.
Chicago, New York and Cleveland reported the highest year-over-year gains with year-over-year price increases of 4.6%, 4.9% and 3.6%, respectively.
Tampa extended itsdecline to -2.5% year over year.
Month-over-Month
The National Index saw a drop of 0.1% month-over-month, the 20-City Composite decreased 0.1% and the 10-City Composite decreased 0.03%before seasonal adjustment in January 2026.
After seasonal adjustment,the U.S. National, 10-City Composite, and 20-City Composite Indices each reported a monthly increase of 0.2%.
Historical
Measured from its June2022 peak, the 10-City Composite is up 8.2%.
The 20-City Composite is up by 5.60%.
The National Index is up 6% from its June 2022 peak.

I had a lucid dream a few times where I had one on a table next to the parking lot..a little girl was standing there and I was making her a bag with powdered sugar in the candy planner with sprinkles on it..behind her was a line of soldiers waiting inline..so I got one…. I have had to many of my dreams give me a dejavu.. to not head them..
I found out why my labs was so expe.. they sent them to the mayo for some extensive testing besides doing them here in the wastelands so far it doesn’t fit anything..no allergies and no cancer which has them baffled…they say I need surgery and then they will send the samples after they dig around to see if its the nasty.. I told them at this time I have to continue working and the costs associated with it simply aren’t covered..been down that road and had my youth destroyed by the aggressive actions of Satan and his minions.. I will not leave my wife high and dry.. with her mobility issues from her strokes..I actually visited with her about us signing a quick claim to one of the grandkids yesterday..let them have the house as long as we keep the bedroom..sell off all our crap and let them do what they want..at least then Satan can’t take it..and someone that can use it can have it….after taking the one guy to a cancer clinic and them telling him to leave..( when they sent him the letter asking for his deposit on his future care.. they booted him out..loading him up he started crying asking..what about me and my life..it took three months for the social worker to get him I ..after he left our spare bedroom his cancer came back and they refused to see him again..oops ) ..but the doctor said ok but if it gets worse again I need to get my but in..
