I listened to an interview with I believe Gilbert Doctorow and he said the 2-3 week winddown aligns with a 60 day window that runs from start of operations and if Trump wishes to continue he has to get War powers from congress who will not provide it. How long of an intermission or breather He;s have to take before resuming I don’t know.

A nation as powerful as ours shouldn’t always feel like it has to lead with force . When there’s courage in restraint , wisdom in patience , and dignity in choosing peace when conflict isn’t knocking on our door .
I would like to see our country to take pause , to breathe , to think before acting that isn’t weakness . It’s compassion . It’s humanity . It’s the belief that we can be better than the cycle of violence we’ve seen for generations . War may be part of history , but it doesn’t have to be the future we keep repeating over and over…

Two military analysts I have listened to have both said the same thing about the accuracy of the NEW (top of the line) Iranian missiles … both said that if not intercepted they are hitting with about a 5 meter accuracy. (the old missiles reportedly only had an accuracy over a long distance of about 1 km)
It remains to be seen if enough Iranian missiles have been destroyed such that the Iranian attacks against specific strategic targets end … not enough information reaching those of us on the outside to tell since everybody on US /Israel side is super tight lipped about what is really happening

OK my thrice annual reminder about discounted HAMS. This year at least 2 local places have deeply discounted Hams, Meijers and Krogers (haven’t checked elsewhere) … but forget the Kroger ones the Meijers ones are a much better cut with more meat!
The thing to remember with the Pre-Cooked Hams is that when they are pressure cooked they are sealed inside that super thick plastic bag they are sold in, and as long as that air tight bag remains unopened the expiration date doesn’t really apply, it is only for once the bag is opened that the clock starts running wrt use timing (they assume you will slice it open immediately upon buying it). If you leave the AIR TIGHT bag sealed in a cold fridge then the Hams inside the bag will easily last an extra 4 months IN THE BAG and then once you slice the bag open you have about 6 weeks to eat it.
OK … Meijer Ham pricing is $.89/lb limit 1 but NO card required so you could just keep going back and buying more with cash since unless you use a credit card you are unidentified, while the less desirable Kroger Ham pricing is $.85/lb limit two with card.
