Is there a hidden history to meta-materials? About how the future could be defined by them? Could a materials analog to A.I. might even be machine-printable? Off on a quest for new meta materials.

“Why now,” you may be wondering. “Don’t we know there is a war on?”

Yes, of course.  But wars are interesting technology periods and WW II and the spike in UFOs right after?  Gives us something to ponder outside of Europe during what we’d have to call Putin’s “first consolidation” phase.

Rather than paw through mundane housekeeping chores, this sounded like a much-needed break.  War and rigged markets?  Old, well-worn tunes throughout history.

    I was visiting with a gentleman at a dinner last night.. and the actions taking place in ukraine came up.. Up until then I was thinking it was all over the strategic position of ukraine the oil reserves, raw resources and the fact that for the elite it is the main child trafficking hub on the planet and one of the major human trafficking hubs..

Opens a new range of thought.. and interestingly enough guess what investigator was fired for investigating the wrong person child of someone powerful it wasn’t a simple you give a million I give a billion.. there were potentially ties that dips much deeper than just a million dollars ( chump change) from all indications. And from all indications.. once the investigator was fired.. the whole matter dropped from view….

  4. Always the hate on Bitcoin. I have never looked at BC as an investment, but as a hedge on the loss of value of the $. No doubt it has not been a great 6 months if you look at BC as an investment. I continue to dollar cost average some BC purchase, the downturn in price had increased my bitcoin purchases.

    As an entrepreneur and person of freedom, you might think it would be good to throw of the yoke of government control of currency and their reckless printing, and big business monopoly on digital payments. For instance your subscription, you probably pay 3-5% for payment clearing. If you accept BC payment, then the buyer pays the cost of the transfer, which if using lightning is very small. You could accumulate some BC, with very little work on your part and small risk.

    Maybe longer term BC will not become the solution of government control, but I still want to be a part of trying to find a system that will.

      I actually had considered putting a few bucks on Bitcoin…when the price was down.. then I seen a hydroponic tulip bouquet.. bought it for the wife.. I can enjoy them watch them and grow them.. it’s gorgeous and starting to bloom..the wife loves it.. a whole lot better that less than a fart in the wind.

    There was some guy, Terence McKenna. He was really into psychedelics. One day he claimed to be greeted by “machine elves” when he was tripping-out on Dimethyltryptamine (DMT).

    Machine elves are supposed to be inter-dimensional beings only accessible by taking psychedelics.

    Terrence said,

    “‘You pass through a membrane of some sort, and you’re in a place. You’re pushed through, and you see the tykes, as I call them. The self-transforming machine elves that are singing in a hyperdimensional language. They surround you and say, “Welcome, we’re so glad to see you.”’”

    Nobody can prove or disprove what he says was perceived. But ‘machine elves” are great marketing tool for DMT.

    Since Terernce said it’s a “place” any of us should be able to go there and see the machine elves.

    We have at least 6,000 years +/- of psychedelic history and no mention of machine elves until Terence. Did Terrence discover machine elves or invent machine elves?

    After Terrence saw the machine elves guess what. Two groups of people were created within the psychedelic community – those who see machine elves and those don’t.

    I guess we need to take DMT and go there.

    But when you take DMT and don’t see the machine elves the seers will tell you, “You didn’t take enough”, “the elves were busy”. There’s a million reasons why you didn’t see, yet they do see.

    There’s a cathedral in Spain that has an ‘astronaut’ in the frieze. Construction began in the 16th century so the ‘astronaut’ is legit. But not really. But in the future the people may be told the astronaut was airbrushed out of old photos and it’s always been there. Who will be able to prove what 50 to 100 years out?

    • AN interesting story, but here is the thing. If you read Forte and other commentators on the fairies, elves andc such, it may be simplyh that people prior to this century had no visiolinguistic tieback to the world Machine. Hence, Terrence was right, but the language was his benefactor. He could articulate what came across as wood fairies and so forth

    • DMT is the key to dreams and likely the most powerful psychedelic of all. It’s fairly common in nature, including legal plants, and the monamine oxidase within our body prevents the ingestion of DMT under normal circumstances. Ayahuasca is the exception, though not for the faint of heart! DMT can be smoked and that’s a short time trip probably as intense as the Bezos space tourism trip, or so I’m told.

      There are definitely entities – perhaps machine elves, gnomes, dwarfs or other that can appear, just like some appear in dreams, though with much more clarity. There was a wealth of literature after the psychedelic 60s and 70s describing these, though much is out of print. We’re now in a cautious renewal of psychedelic research, but it’s highly limited by the current drug laws and the fears/attitudes of the general public.

      What is obvious is the massive level of sequestered information on many subjects, including this one. We really do need to find this stuff out, rather than constantly re-inventing the wheel. In the case of psychedelics and entactogens, we’re depriving a significant segment of society access to legitimate treatments and actual cures for many ailments – spiritual, emotional, and physical.

        I gave a couple buttons to a well known artist friend about 2 years ago in Belize. I just ran into him again last month at a show. Dude lit up like a Christmas tree when he saw me..running over – hugged it out, then proceeded to tell crazy story about Him, His Wife and another friend. They split my single “Be a Living God” dose 3 ways, and still spent a good 12 hours out in the jungle with just a bonfire tripping on really good energizing jungle vibes, stars..mantis beings.. ? whatwhatwhat.

    • John Lilly talked about meeting a solid-state entity in his explorations. He’s the guy that invented the isolation tank and figured out dolphin & whale communications and did a bunch of other fascinating things.   7. You know.. I am pretty anal about quality of water etc.. and have a very good water filtration system.. I am curious.. how many have a tds meter.. I actually always carry one with for water in a restaurant….

    Just a curiosity .. if I am the only one to do it.. or if there were more people concerned about the water they drink out there.
    a few years ago.. there was a lot of concern over the amount of harmful minerals in the water system.. the town put out a request that everyone put in an adequate filtration system.. seems there was way to much cyanide and uranium in the water in parts per million that well water was hazardous to drink and could cause various cancers..
    Now it isn’t bad as it was.. they moved from their own well .. but I still filter drinking water and I still carry my tester.. the wife and kids think I am nuts.. and get a real giggle out of it..

    • I’m a firm believer in good quality drinking water, but my problem with the local water is lack of minerals due to reverse osmosis. We used to receive warnings yearly from the town for arsenic levels before RO and as a result I still use a Berkey filter for filtration.

    • I have a TDS meter. Most of the volcanic aquifer water in Honolulu and here on the east side of the big island runs about 77 ppm mineralized from the lava rock. One area on the north side of Hilo among a lot of small runoff streams is closer to the source and runs 38 ppm… and tastes preferentially ‘fresher’ than average.

  8. One UFO story that is rarely ever brought up, even by UFO enthusiasts, is the UFO invasion of D.C. back in 1952. If there was ever a “nothing to see here, move along” incident that was it!

    While the discussion of anti gravity effects is interesting has there been any kind of description as to WHY these effects are happening? Have we ever been able to describe gravity outside of it’s obvious effects on everything around us on a planet?

  11. It’s time to start guessing about who will succeed Putin.
    His Ukraine gambit has already and will continue to cost billions that the country desperately needs to shore up the Russian economy. Once the kids start coming home in boxes, it’s game over and someone’s going to have to take the blame.
    Trouble is, I don’t see a clear line of succession, making chaos the lead contender. A leaderless nuclear power may make us long for the good old days of the current crisis.

        The US dollar isn’t backed by anything at sll..the vast majority of the planets manufacturers are outside the usa..IF..the middle east said..hey a gold backed currency is what we will accept..

Just when you thought it was about to actually tell you something it runs off to another subject or just drones on and on about something, anything but what you’re looking for.     Havana Syndrome. Ever experience that? Ya get stuck in your tracks and feel kinda weird. – see a blue laser out of the corner of your eye … weeks later get stuck for a moment or two? Thinking maybe Havana Syndrome comes down from above and not the horizon. If there are aliens, like psychics, I’m sure they do readings. Just a thought.

        For instance, Ford built the B-24 factory specifically to crank out Liberators. Construction didn’t start until Spring, 1942.

        The Jeep was created by American Bantam Automobile Company — designed in a day, built in a few weeks. Bantam was a microcar manufacturer, like Crosley. Microcars were a niche market, and the car companies were all small and localized. The Bantam “1/4 ton light utility truck” beat the hell out of everybody else’s submission, so our wartime government took the Jeep away from Bantam and gave it to Willys and Ford (at that time, the 2nd and 3rd largest automobile manufacturers, respectively), thus ensuring the demise of American Bantam.         Tooling takes time. With that said, it takes a lot more time, when people lack tools and neither know what tools they require, or how to use them. Wars are great for technical advancement, but OJT during a war, sucks…

    It’s amazing how a co-founder of Airbnb has promised to double the amount of Afghan refugees housed by Airbnb hosts from 20,000 to 40,000 across America. Apparently the free or below market rent accomodation program is going swimmingly well. It is planned to now expand and include refugees from Central and South America. Maybe the Bay Area headquartered company can offer some fine nearby properties with a cachet of luxury and gradely neighbors. It’s too bad someone couldn’t have figured out something like this for America’s pre-existing homeless population.
