Ukraine’s attack on Russia’s bomber fleet: (note that the bombers in MID Siberia were clearly not being used in Russia /Ukrainian conflict)
With 30% or more of Russia’s strategic bombers now no longer existing (they had about 110 before the attack) Russia’s “Triad” for it’s Strategic Detournent is now compromised. Reports are that Russia believes that the attack was designed by the British and the US and it was their actual work that allowed it to take place.
Under the “Open Skies” treaty with the US the bombers could NOT be put into hangers but HAD to be out in the open where they could be watched by satelites …. which is what made them vulnerable. The point of that treaty was to reduce the risk of a sudden surprise nuclear strike, but with it now being clear that the Open Skies Treaty has actually made Russia LESS SAFE with one leg of it’s nuclear triad now being almost neutered (note for most airforces 1/3 of all bombers are unavailable for various reasons at any point in time …. so in reality Russia’s actual usable bomber force was actually reduced by about 1/2 or more)
Will Russia now leave the Open Skies Treaty … which raises the risks for the US?

Ingredients
6 cups dry soybeans (the white or beige type)
6 cups wheat berries Soft wheat gives better flavor than hard wheat
2 tsp. aspergillus orzyae starter meant for shoyu( they come pre measured 7.5 g)
For the Brine
3 1/2 cups salt
1 gallon water
Soak the soybeans over night in the fridge. rinse.. pressure cook till soft about 20 minutes..
grind the wheat then mix the wheat into the soybeans.
mix in the culture line it upon a tote make ridge like your going to plant something.. this gives the culture atmosphere to grow in the soybeans wheat. cover the tote let it sit in a shaded spot for about a week to ten days..when its ready you’ll see white spores throughout the beans.
mix up the brine you can heat half of the water mix in the salt till its mixed well..then put the spore filled gram into the salt brine in your fermentation tank. put your fermentation lock on top.. it needs to ferment a year.
To darken your soy sauce Heat dark brown sugar or molasses in a pan until it caramelizes. Slowly mix it into your soy sauce to deepen the color and add a subtle sweetness.
To make teriyaki sauce
½ cup low-sodium soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1½ tsp fresh ginger, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
3 tbsp mirin (or rice vinegar)
¼ cup water
2 tsp cornstarch (for thickening)
Oh.. to keep your culture.. you can take a cup or two of the spore grain
Spread the cultured koji on a clean tray in a well-ventilated area.
Let it dry at room temperature for several days until fully dehydrated.
to culture the spores for Saki..its the same but instead of soybeans you put the culture on cooked rice.
For Sali its the same as making soy sauce..
10 lbs short-grain white rice (preferably sushi rice) cooked
40 oz koji kin (Aspergillus oryzae spores)
mix and let the spores grow just like for soy sauce..
1 pack sake yeast (Wyeast WY3134 Sake #9 recommended)
5 gallons cold, chlorine-free water ( you can add two cups of sugar to this water )
0.75 tsp yeast nutrient (optional) ( or 1/2 cup of raisins)
1.25 tsp Salt (optional)
add the rice with the spore growth into the lightly sweetened water
in the fermentor. ferment strain and do a secondary fermentation clarifying..
now soy sauce is traditionally produced in a charred barrel five gallon size.. so is Saki.. the charged suffice and aging gives you a tastier sauce or wine..if you don’t have one you could quick age it with ultrasonic ..
