DeMorgan’s Theorem Calls Markets & Election?

When Donald Trump ran for president the first time, he was touted as a billionaire and the label may have helped.  It sure didn’t hurt.  This time around will be different. His financial condition is now somewhat questionable and the opposing candidate packs a ton of appeal to People of Color (POCs) (or, at least the Obama’s).

Even more interesting to us has been the reaction of the stock market to recent news – so in today’s ChartPack (*extended) we will mix up politics, or Aggregate Index and see how the liberal rich are lining things up for (themselves to benefit) from the election.  forgetting that an avowed Marxist is one of the choices.

Who needs a constitution or open conventions with power, dynamics and law-faring are at work.

Oh, some headlines along the way, as well.  Bean up and let’s read…

Because after this morning’s column, you should be able to talk extemporaneously for at least 15-minutes on in-built dynamic market tension and DeMorgan’s laws.

  1. “ … packs a ton of appeal to People of Color”

Um … from my discussions with “people of color” I think Trump may have an edge. They’ve wised up a bit in the past several years. They got a real grievance about the immigration situation and don’t like who the gov. has dropped off in their neighborhoods.

I meet and greet a lot of people on my road trips and met one guy in particular near Chicago. He told me a story and he wasn’t catering to my whiteness. Lol. Ghetto ain’t the same since Biden came along. They don’t like change. Folks feeling VERY uncomfortable in the hood, specially at night. Go figure.

Got a 10 hr drive now. Talk with ya later.

    Peace

    • What’s that African American member of congress that keeps screaming ..destroy you neighborhoods show them we mean business.. I never could figure out what he has against his own ethnicity.. to get them to destroy their neighbors homes rape pillage and destroy vital infrastructure…

    • “I think Trump may have an edge.”

Yeah, I get some of that, too. Trump’s big problem, and the one the news faces will grind into us incessantly, is “unmarried women” (specifically, but not exclusively, White.) This demographic always goes hard for the Leftist candidate, and the more-radical Left, the harder they go. This is the “Western” demographic which finds communism most-appealing, because socialism promises to “take care of us all.” They do not read or study history, so not a one realizes they will lose 80% of everything they now have, including their Right to own property. They just believe they will have whatever everyone else has, and be taken care of — which is exactly right, true, and correct, but probably not along the flow of their expectations. The promise of socialism (in any form) is that will make everyone equally miserable…

      • (“not a one realizes they will lose 80% of everything they now have, including their Right to own property.”)

The economic situation and inflation took care of the dream of owning.. my daughters friend that just bought a house.. in her fifties.. and her monthly cost considering she like everyone else in the wage earner bracket.. the political parties is following adolphs play book by the page.. make the people dependent on social programs then you get the support of the people to steal from those in the top ten percent leaving the one percent to be propelled to the stratoshphere.. they weren’t quiet about it.. they used that mode of promoting high profits to the ones that would benefit the most.. no insurance wait until your so sick you have to use the ER so they can take everything you own.. tax the burger flipper and garbage man to the point he is inslaved and nothing to show.. outsource pride and economic value.. pay lower wages give all the benefits to those that truly deserve it.. drive through an old industrial city one time and you see what is coming.. its all right there that is why it is in my scariest book list..

        • Yeah, mine too. Thing is, nobody takes a few hours out of their TV or gaming to read the damn’ book. If we knew, as a society, we could avoid. But we don’t, and I grow weary of being called a crazy, paranoid old man…

        • BTW folks, this PDF of Hitler’s Zweites Buch is only 111 pages, in case anyone would care to spend an hour to acquire a new clue (or reinforce an existing one…)

  2. I have a friend., wait – let me rephrase that – there’s a guy I know. [ My definition of a ‘friend’ is probably very different than your definition.] Known him for about twenty years. Fellow disabled vet – wicked sense of humor. About three years ago he dropped out. Got sick of it all and decided there must be a better way for him to live.
Sold everything off and bought a Ural motorcycle. [ Motorcycle with sidecar and two wheel drive.] .., and has been on the road ever sense., but he never leaves the state of Kentucky. He zig zags and criss-crosses the state continuously.
He currently has 22 remote, out of the way camp grounds on his map., and a couple dozen state and major camp grounds. [ He doesn’t like them – to many people. Noisy.] Being that he never leaves the state his motorcycle insurance & tags, conceal carry permit., fishing licence, cell phone – all the usual stuff are a “no hassle’.
All his mail and important contacts go to his daughter’s house. Her and her husband have a small farm – almost completely self-sufficient. Sort of like his ‘base-camp’.
He says he has never been happier. Virtually no stress at all. Responsible only for himself and his ride. Doesn’t miss a damn thing about the society around him. “People are existing on credit cards and news – that’s just not for me anymore.”
    He may have something there.

    • i know quite a few living the nomadic lifd. i did it for a while. im kinda still doing it. never in one spot for very long. a year at most. im mkving frqard. passed my physical. did a webinar with the director at the training center. really good stuff. SS and US Marshalls train at the same place. got my background check completed and i do my fitness test next week. a few items have to come into life before i do this. i spoke to THE DUDE about it and said i need to have this and that be take care of before i go. if it doesnt get taken care of. i cant go. i do my part, THE DUDE does the stuff i cant do. so i wait and see HIS part to be handled.

the nomadic life isnt for everyone. it takes faith and you have to be resourcefull, think outside the box.

someone asked me honestly why i am voting for trump.

      this is why,

I dont need fact checkers after the debates. I look at my bank statement. When Trump was president i had alot more money in it. Since Biden and Harris took office, my personal income taxes have doubled and i make less money. The price of gas doubled and the price of food has trippled and quadrupled. The price of houses has sky rocketed to the point it pushes me out of purchasing one at the same time so they can rape home owners with more taxes on their properties and homes to create government income to spend it on a war in the Ukraine. They didnt do shit for anyone in Maui after the fires either. $700 check. That was it. While the president of the Ukraine is purchasing $40 Million dollar homes from the King of England and His wife just purchased a $1.8 Million dollar Bugatti Veyron super car for her to drive. That is what Biden and Harris have produced. I am voting for Trump.

they are not just pricing people out of buying homes. they are sticking it to the ones who own homes with higher taxes. im not sure if that counts as GDP growth or not? but its bullshit.

      that is why.

so i wait and do my part to move forward. i cant do some stuff. the stuff i cant do? That is THE DUDE part. i take action where i can. IF THE DUDE doesnt do HIS part? i wont go to BP training and that means im not meant to go. im good either way. THY will be done.

we have a big wedding today between some Natives at the ranch. there is a medicine man out there beating a drum as i type this. pretty cool.

i can only do my part, THE DUDE handles the stuff i cant do.

until then. chop wood, carry water.

oh. and im not at northgate clearing trains anymore. i got taken off the schedule. not on my doing. when i see that stuff i smile, it means, THE DUDE is making moves and has other plans.

i do a spot check. i have lots of food, full tank of gas, smokes, coffee, place to live, a few bucks in my account. phone is still on. car to drive.

ok, cool, Thanks DUDE. I can go to church on sunday. sweet. i cant wait to see what You do Next DUDE.

      today is today.

      ~ La Dolce Vita ~

    • Yeah my friend is going to do that..he was offered cash money for his home..taxes insurance everything on escalation mode..he decided if his wife and him downside move into a camper then travel from one campground to another..ran into the young family that had to move into a pickup camper..they are living at the lake in the camper..I did tell them that Wal-Mart will let them park overnight and truck stops have showers and some laundry facilities..

      • Not to be considered lightly, but there are lots of places in the world where a couple can live reasonably comfortably on $2,000/month, Prime considerations are whether a new language has to be learned, climate, adequacy of local medical care, and whether they need to support (or be supported by) USA resident relatives.

Rural Costa Rica and Panama are perpetually on my radar. Several places in Asia are even cheaper. YouTube offers a way to explore both the good and bad aspects of expatriation.

Here is ChatGPT’s answer to “Can a couple retire to Panama on less than $2000 per month?” Having visited Panama three times, it seems realistic to me.
Panama City’s and David’s temperatures resemble hell, but Boquete and Volcan are very comfortable, although chronically overcast.
        +++++++++++++++
        FROM CHATGPT

Yes, it is possible for an American couple to retire in Panama for less than $2,000 a month, though it will depend on their lifestyle and location preferences. Here are some key factors to consider:

        Cost of Living in Panama
Housing: Renting a modest apartment in smaller towns or less expensive areas can cost between $500 and $1,000 per month. In popular expat areas like Boquete or Coronado, rents might be higher.

Utilities: Electricity, water, and internet can range from $100 to $200 monthly, depending on usage and location.

Groceries and Dining Out: Monthly grocery bills for a couple can range from $300 to $500. Eating out is generally affordable, with local restaurants offering meals for $5 to $10.

Healthcare: Panama offers affordable healthcare, with many expats opting for local insurance plans. Routine doctor visits and prescriptions are significantly cheaper than in the U.S.

Transportation: Public transportation is cheap, and many retirees choose to use buses and taxis. Owning a car will add to expenses, including fuel and maintenance.

Entertainment and Miscellaneous: Depending on lifestyle, budget around $200 to $300 for entertainment, shopping, and other personal expenses.

        Popular Expat Locations
Boquete: Known for its pleasant climate and vibrant expat community. Cost of living is moderate, with many affordable housing options.

Coronado: A beach town with a strong expat presence, offering a mix of affordable and upscale living options.

Panama City: While more expensive, some areas in the city still offer affordable living options. It’s more suited for those who prefer urban living.

David: A city offering a lower cost of living compared to Panama City, with good amenities and services.

        Budget Example
        Rent: $700
        Utilities: $150
        Groceries: $400
        Dining Out: $100
        Healthcare: $100
        Transportation: $50
        Entertainment/Miscellaneous: $200
        Total: $1,700

This example shows that living on a budget of less than $2,000 per month is feasible, especially in smaller towns or less popular areas. However, personal preferences and lifestyle choices will ultimately determine the final budget.

  3. So.., Netanyahu was here to have a quiet Face-to-Face with Trump to see if he would support Israel’s attack on Iran ? – Makes sense. I think Trump would.
    – He knows that Harris wouldn’t. Fascists never support attacks on other totalitarian fascist States. [ .., or whatever Iran is claiming to be this month.]

  4. Forget LITTLE doom … such as Nuclear War etc.. It is such a fine day and and Celine Dion gave such a G.R.E.A.T. performance last night (Paris time) from standing on a platform on the Eifel Tower let us talk about BIG doom today.

Doom on tap? The “Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation”, amazingly abbreviated as AMOC!! (aren’t scientists smart to come up with such a catchy abbreviation?)

OK … the AMOC is what makes Europe 40 to 60 degrees warmer than it should be, based on how far north it is, and keeps Greenland in the freezer.

To cut to the chase last summer a couple of crazy Danish University Professors, brother and sister, both some sort of math wizzes, produced a paper based upon Greenland ice cores and old whaling days deep sea temps and salinity records (old sailors used to send a buckets way down to get cold water since they were so HOT when sailing in the tropics – Mr. Frigidaire hadn’t yet discovered how to make ice cubes, combined with recent records of the same … and when run through the statistical models they came up with showed that we are facing a potential collapse of the AMOC.

“In 95 percent of the model’s simulations, the AMOC tipped sometime between 2025 and 2095”, center point being about 2057, and when it “tips” it takes just 50 years to reach total collapse (has happened 25 times in the last 130,000 years per the Greenland ice core samples).

OK … so now instead of nuclear war you can worry about the entire climate of the world undergoing rapid change, which will mostly kill off agriculture in many places in the world … including Western and Eastern Europe AND potentially in much of the grain /rice growing areas of Asia. Maybe make the Great Plains the Great Plains Desert? Allow the Med to become an Ice Rink in the winter?

Good article in Wired Magazine. Lots of controversy about the work done by those crazy Danes (and Danes are crazy which “I” personally know since they gave us that food which is GUARANTEED to cause weight gain and clog our arteries called “Danish” pastries).

Read it and now you can worry about a MUCH BIGGER PROBLEM, what will happen after Putin finishes nuking the US and China takes over the Pacific!!

  5. Me: “So.., I see you are going with that new poll released this morning?”
Her: “Damn right I am !”
    Me: “Why is that?”
Her: “Look at the numbers ! It’s the truth on how people feel about Trump !”
Me: “Did you read the numbers.”
Her: “Yes ! Look at that gap !”
Me: “I see it. But tell me.., Harris at 78%.., and Trump at 38%. Whip out the ole calculator, darling.., how much is 78 plus 38 ? On mine, that’s 116%.”
    Her: …., ‘crickets’…..
Me: “Is that a new kind of liberal / fascist math.., or am I missing something?”
    Her: …., ‘crickets’…….

  6. i had a conversation with my roomate last night. he gave me a book on the wisdom of the Totecs. i been reading it.

he is a young fella. reminds me of that fella macklemore, the rapper.

my roomate is also a white rapper. young fella age 27.

then i grabbed that “Finger Prints of The Gods” book off the shelf and showed him the schematic of The City of Gods and we walked through the house and i showed him we are living here in an exact scaled replica. even positionally it is same with the sun rising and setting in the same way it does in the city. everything to sacred chamber and the extra door within it is the same.

i match the exact description as Quetzalc??tl. blonde hair, blue eyes, white bearded, white dude. pretty trippy.

in the book of toltec wisdom it says clearly, you must learn to hunt, finish the warriors path, it is the last segment to complete. once it is completed you will become a master of transformation able to bring about heaven on earth.

we talked at great length last night. he said ever since i met you. in the last 2 months i have gone from being homless to living in a mansion, seeing my twin kids that i havent seen in 5 years, celebrating their birthday with them, for the first time i got on the stage and did one of my own rap songs, been reunited with my mother for the first time in 10 years and bought a new car. he said i relized all that happend when i started talking to you. my life has radically changed. in a short period of time.

    maybe, you are Quetzalc??tl.

i said well i dont wanna be Quetzalc??tl. im good with being just Andy. lol. i follow THE DUDE. he said maybe you are actually THE DUDE disqused as Andy. i said that is exactly why i dont smoke weed and laughed.

i grabbed a pen and paper, and i drew the infinity symbol and said to him an old proverb. do not look for the begining in the past and do not look for the end in the future. both the begining and the end is found in the middle. and placed my finger on the center of the X inside the infinity symbol.

both him and his little girlfriend sat down and say whooaaa. i never thought about that. he looked at me and said, my mind is blown.

i laughed and said. ya good stuff. i said i dont need to be anyone else other than me. same as you. i start and end in the center. not the mobius loops on either side of infinity. those are simply expressions of the center point. it goes with an old saying im fond of. infinitely NOW!

everthing from the coming of Christ, to His Leaving to Christs return starts and ends here and now.

i said why do ya think Elon Renamed Twitter to X. lol

he laughed and said i never thought about that before. then he smiled and said, maybe i need to spend some quiet time out on the deck drinking coffee and thinking too.

i laughed and said, it certainly doesnt hurt. i do it often. you might be surpized by answers that come to ya. if ya sit still and let everthing flow as it does.

then i said you know Blavskis globes, chains and root races? he said i just read the secret doctrin. i said its limited wisdom from this solar system. you have wisdom of the earth, you have wisdom of the solar system and you have cosmic wisdom. where we live is a scaled replica, structure of Cosmic wisdom. he said how so. i showed him the schematic again. temple of the moon, 8 planets, temple of the sun. solar system wisdom, right there. however, tthe path between the sun , the sacred chamber between (which held a dude sitting in a chair and a schematic of what apears to be a time machine, in his hand holding a doll, with the attributes of a white dude, with blue eyes, blonde hair and white beard) and Quetzalc??tl pyramid or temple resides outside the scale of the solar system. representing cosmic wisdom.

    its all facinating stuff.

so while the olympics is displaying the pale horse running though it and i saw the train situation in france.

all is well, right here and right now, in the City of The Gods.

    have a wonderful weekend.

i feel like tonight is going to be a really good night.

    • “i said well i dont wanna be Quetzalc??tl. im good with being just Andy. lol. i follow THE DUDE. he said maybe you are actually THE DUDE disqused as Andy. i said that is exactly why i dont smoke weed and laughed.”
Well said from one dude to another dude:
      “Champagne Wishes and Caviar Dreams!”

  7. George you know what he said to me this morning? he said the only constant is time and change. i laughed and said you know the the one thing you can always count on in other people is? he said what? i said their propensity for greed. hahahaha. aint the truth! you can always count on their propensity for greed.

he said how do you use that to your advantage? i said simple. you let them take everything they can in exchange for everything else.

he said does that really work? i said its been working out really well for me for a long while. haha.

    *tips hat

    • tis said that the Greed of the Nation, (USA), is the Stain of Ruin on her Soul .

      Ure results may vary..

  8. i turned, smiled and said to him as i was leaving for the gym, who knows? one day you might even find yourself as everything else.

i paused, smiled, raised a finge and said and one day! you too, may find yourself resting and dreaming in the the temple of quetzalcoatl, while everyone else rests and dreams within the solar system.

he laughed and said, True Dat! dude! true dat!

  9. “hard to say what is actually going on. But one thing is sure – something sure is!”… regarding magma movements.

Kilauea volcano is also acting strange. Small earthquake swarms at the summit, but the summit is deflating… going down. The magma reservoir is moving down towards the east rift zone… that giant ‘crack’ on the east side that extends all the way out to the eastern ‘fin’ tip of the Big Island at Cape Kumukahi. Underground lava is on the move. Where it pops, nobody knows.

  10. “Venezuelan Elections are this weekend and that might ripple into oil prices next week – depending on how nutty the outcome is. Why Venezuela’s presidential election should matter to the world”

I can’t imagine why they would affect anything. Surprisingly, VoA doesn’t mention that the United States doesn’t acknowledge Maduro as Venezuela’s President. Even more surprisingly, it refers to Chávez as “popular.”

I have no reason to expect, if Maduro loses, that he won’t declare the election “illegal” and its results “null and void” just like he did in 2018. The only difference this time around, is when he does, the commie in the White House may well recognize him officially, as Venezuela’s leader.

  11. “The big Tonal Shift to look for in domestic politics could be Robert F. Kennedy going hard after the liberals on the left. He conceivably could even act as a Kamala agenda spoiler. Did you happen to notice his Robert F. Kennedy Jr. vows to buy 550 Bitcoin daily for U.S. reserve if elected?”

That’s like ~$35mln/day. We currently blink that kind of petty cash away every instant, so no big deal. What IS a big deal is I expect RFK to punt his Election bid, and I expect Trump to offer him a juicy employment opportunity, sometime in October.

    In a related contemplation:

Thought of the day: Would Alan Dershowitz come out of retirement to be DJT’s AG? He’s 83, and enjoying his retirement, but he’s also sharp as a razor and the most-qualified person on the planet, for the job. Were I Trump, I’d be recruiting disenfranchised (current and former) Dems whenever I found one who could do a necessary job, masterfully (Tulsi, oh Tulsi? You’d look good, trading in your LtC for an LtG — Just sayin…)

  12. “This time around will be different. ”

I catch the idea a few posters like Trump but imagine Gore running over and over. Gore did warn storms would become rougher, heat waves would become hotter and it’s coming to pass but would you eventually vote for him?

Trump had his day. But in the other column.

    “People of Color”

Trump has this going for him. There’s about 5,000,000 Hindu practicing Indian-Americans and Vance’s wife is one of them so she could help pull that vote. That’s a potential 10% +/- . I don’t know when that 5M count was made but my sector over here is chock-full. I’m getting “we accept new patients” postcards from different Indian-American dental works about twice a week now. It’s noticeable. As a side note the city had to send a notice out to legacy Americans asking them to stop going to the Hindu temples like tourists areas taking pictures of the statues, etc.

Rumor is Vance has transsexual friends so it’s possible the ticket can garner some of the LGBTQ+ vote so that could go 50/50.

I don’t understand how to put the Indian-American and LGBTQ+ vote into a Boolean expression. But I do know that some groups stick together.

    • I’ve got a friend who insists Vance is a placeholder and once ballot printing begins, sometime around September Trump will drop Vance and pick-up Carson.

  14. Well..I tried to talk some sense into my friend..he is sure that if he sells his house and gets a camper that he will be better off in retirement.. that prices have gone up so much that he will not be able to afford his home costs..
he thinks he can get a bus with fold outs for thirty thousand.. and travel around the country more economically.. I get the tiny house movement..
he like so many cannot see how everything is maneuvering into position..

    • LOOB- Economics of the home ownership is different for a modest cash home versus a McMansion with half of income being flushed down the mortgage pipes each month. The small cash home is still the cheapest to maintain in most locations.
$30,000 for a roadable bus with fold-outs isn’t really plausible. A modest used roadable van will cost that much or more. A smallish DIY survival tiny home can be built for that. Shed conversions are popular but land costs and codes make that difficult. Lifespan of mobiles is an issue.
The Supreme Court recently threw vagrants under the brown shirt bus, and I am waiting to see how that plays out.
I hope your friend finds a cash solution to his problem, but the mobile living may be losing it’s luster for ordinary folks.

      • George posted a website 3 months ago that allowed you to find small low-priced homes and lots, all over the country. many can be connected to city services, others you can put in own septic, and get hooked up to city water, or drill a well, and connect to electricity.

Millions of people are living in decent homes under $100k.

Some houses need refreshing, so what?

        What happened to American ingenuity?

A person can buy a lot for $30k or less, build or put their own rv, shed, or small home on it and live cheaper than Panama and Costa Rica.

Many states have 65 and up property tax freezes for school taxes. Alabama, for example, if you are disabled, waives all property taxes, so you pay zero.

Many areas tax manufactured homes much cheaper.

Even an RV under an RV cover, on your land is better than paying rent.

Many small RV lots exist across the country at reasonable monthly rates, with facilities.

Being mobile, without a home base is wearing on mind, body, spirit.

Yes, there are gatherings and groupings of like-minded people to find.

And a need for creating those humble communities.

        Be a creator protector.

        • CP: You said, “Being mobile, without a home base is wearing on mind, body, spirit.”

Well, yes and no. I’ve followed blogs of two literally homeless couples for 8 and 10 years respectively.

The “Technomads” have been on the road and working since 2006 and seem to content alternating among bus, van, and boat.
          https://www.technomadia.com/

“Tom and Jess” are retired and have been traveling since 2004, mostly outside of the USA, and show no sign of settling down despite several medical emergencies and being stranded in a hotel in India during covid.
          https://worldwidewaftage.com/were-back-after-a-medical-ordeal/

Personally four to six weeks away from Florida usually finds me wanting the convenience and predictability of the Treasure Coast. and missing friends.

YMMV, but considering zoning against trailers and sheds, site work, and the necessity of owning and insuring vehicles in the places where a poor person can find land in the USA, I think that many retires in the USA might be better off elsewhere. A year ago I took a tour of Panama with 26 people looking to relocate. I’d characterize my fellow travelers as half climate refugees (upper Midwest and Canadian) and half economic refugees who were looking for a place where they could live on Social Security. I was looking for a “bolt hole” but have yet to find one that checks all my boxes.

    • We had neighbors who did just that. They had been here about 5 years, moved in a 16 X 80 mobile home, added a couple of 20′ sea cans and a large awning for their camper. Just up and sold the whole shebang and bought a bigger camper and a bigger Dodge 1 ton to pull it. They decided they were going to hit the road and go wherever the road took them. That was a couple of years ago. Now they’re back as maintenance help at a local federal campground. Free parking spot with utilities, plus a modest salary for keeping the park running. Guess their wanderlust played out.

    • Even today, in the middle of camping season, I see 2-3 Class-A and Class-C motorhomes for sale, in the $4000-$25,000 pricerange, every week.

Some of them look quite nice; others are obvious “handyman specials.”

‘Thing is: The genset is trash, the slideouts don’t (and neither do the airbrakes), one of the A/C units is flaky, someone either dropped an arrow on the roof, or the owner followed a dump truck full of glass slag, so there’s a hole in the roof which hasn’t started ruining the woodwork yet, and speaking of, have you any idea how expensive clear maple 1/16″ plywood is…?

Maybe, maybe not, but the prospective purchaser has to be aware of these, and a hundred other potential money-sinks which people don’t know about or understand, unless they spent some time building the damn’ things. You get all the problems of a house and a truck, then you get a bunch more.

A motorhome is a hole in the air in which money is poured in $1000 chunks. A decent one will cost a half-million dollars, and can be bought, two years old for a hundred grand, or 10 years old for 30. That is a breathtaking amount of depreciation for the luxury of taking your lifestyle with you.

Your friend should probably be aware of this stuff, and abandon the idea if he’s not skilled with a hammer, saw, chain-nose pliers, and a multimeter…

  15. When something goes wrong in the circus, they send in the clowns to distract the audience. They just sent in Harris.

    • the boys have a new nick name for
      the queen of word salads
      the whore of babble-on

        • No. Truedope is a commie SOB, but he’s far more competent (and likely intelligent) than Hairyass…

Understand, Mr. Biden was never very bright, and is demented. This is a valid excuse for his speech and action. Ms. Harris is not demented. She is less-bright than Mr. Biden, and has no excuse for her thoughts or behavior, or especially her speech. She is simply a lazy, coked-out sot who’s been fornicating her way up the Government ladder for over 30 years now, and needs to go away.

For your Canadian amusement: You might be aware of the fact the past four Democrat Presidential hopefulls have selected Vice Presidential running mates who were notably worse in curb appeal than they? I suggest you pay attention to whomever Alex Soros and Barack Obama select as the running mate for Ms. Harris. The winner should provide a real hoot. (I’m guessing Sandy Cortez, better known as “AOC.” The Dems gots ta be running out of candidates for their “stupider than Jupiter” competition. There’s simply no one living, that’s left…)

      • The real fun will begin when the Trump Team starts dumping her record as DA and AG, perhaps mentions the fact she didn’t grow up in Oakland, waiting on Joe Biden to get outvoted so she could ride the school bus, because she actually grew up in Canada, or possibly brings up her rather wide, cruel streak. The Cameltow team will shoot back with “Trump is a racist, sexist, misogynist, followed by Trump saying “One of us is telling the truth. It is not Camala…”

…and back and forth, hither and yon, ibid and etcetera, probably until at least Thanksgiving, which’ll be a lonely time for many, as they’ll be estranged from their families by then.

Such is the American Election Season.

Season’s Greetings, and pass the popcorn, please…

  16. We all know the debt has to keep expanding and one way is $50,000 Fords internally while everyone outside can/will buy $10,000 BYDs.

    Here’s another way:

“U.S Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said during a speech in Belem, Brazil, on Saturday that the price tag for a global transition to a low-carbon economy amounts to $78 trillion in financing through 2050.

Yellen said that in order to achieve the goal of net-zero global carbon emissions, there would need to be $3 trillion globally in annual financing for the cause, which she said is a top priority for the Biden administration, according to the speech. In order to contribute to this, Yellen vowed to finance green initiatives in developing countries through multilateral development banks and develop “clean energy technologies.””

    https://www.politico.com/news/2024/07/27/yellen-amazon-climate-change-00171522

The debt is around $35,000,000,000,000 and at $3,000,000,000,000 more per year we can easily see it get to $42,000,000,000,000 mid point next presidency.

    • Please, Steve, buy one of those $10k BYDs, import it into the U.S., and spend the, probably $190,000 it will cost to bring it up to NHTSA standards, so you can title, register, and drive it in the U.S. and Canada.

Unfortunately, when we achieve “net-zero carbon emissions” Yellen will be long-dead, so she won’t get to witness every human on the planet be asphyxiated by the lack of oxygen in the air.

  17. A tasty Turkish treat may be coming our way – something like this may require a draft.

Erdogan says Turkey might enter Israel to help Palestinians

ANKARA, July 28 (Reuters) – President Tayyip Erdogan said on Sunday that Turkey might enter Israel as it had done in the past in Libya and Nagorno-Karabakh, though he did not spell out what sort of intervention he was suggesting.
