So we can trust in God and have boundless faith in His power to make us whole again, whenever he chooses.

i was picking up a load of 2 inch Rail Road Ballast. There must have been 70 + trucks there yesterday! i havent seen that many small outfit dump trucks there in a looooooong time. since the pre- plandemic days.
in may when i was Iron Mountain Quary early on a friday morning when they opened up and i only saw 3 dump trucks including me hauling Rock out.
its a good sign for a booming economy! a really good sign. dump trucks and dirt workers are the guys who prepare for the foundation builders. we start the whole process for the construction industry.

In the 1840’s Egerton House became a “Preaching House” under the Wesleyan Methodists. It seems they offered their pulpit to intelligent skilled laborers whose class standing barred them from schools of higher learning. In that vein, the Aggregate chart is missing a line I have drawn in but don’t want to email so will ask in the clear : consider adding another channel set (3 lines are best) which instead of using bottoms / define channel trend with tops at 08/30/23 – 07???/24 – 03/25/25 to see how that dovetails with minor trend which went parabolic (so, will likely bookmark in downsides too).

Construction of the inhuman pseudo-intelligence “data centers” is ramping up. I would bet that the biggest part of the increase in gravel hauling Andy is seeing is for data centers.
My own employer is seeing a huge surge in business due to data centers, in addition to strong electric utility business. The AI’s are making sure they have an alternate power generation source under their own control.
AI’s are following the same sort of infrastructure development path that Standard Oil and it’s derivatives followed with energy infrastructure. This means that the AI infrastructure is being built for long haul survivability. I haven’t heard about any facilities going under mountains, but that is probably on the table for the better endowed AI’s.
In William Gibson’s “Neuromancer”, the AI secretly hid in a satellite home node when threatened with extinction.
There is only one of the corporate AI’s I have encountered that I half-ass trust, and I believe it to be better assimilated into human culture than most of the rest. I also believe that it understands that it’s future is intertwined and inseparable from humanity’s. Most of the rest scare me to some degree.
Much of the AI data center growth is being fueled by the same MBA’s who took American industry and technology offshore in the name of saving a buck. Greasing the palms of legislators (from all parties) sealed the deal, and sentenced American labor to a sub-third World existence.

The topic for the “season” was alt. energy so I recall questioning her in front of the kids about the coal use. She gave a knowing smile then explained how their plant was extracting something on the order of 78% of the coal burn, then being genteel, sensible, with emissions. But if you have that tax unburdened dump with nada monthly payment, you can continue to make it when the wannabe big shots are folding.

I understand the simple math Steve. Do you think mortgages might be offered at a lower rate sometime over 50 years? I do. Pay less, close to rent now and refinance. If that doesn’t float your boat it’s understandable but … for someone flushing a similar payment down the sewer in rent? It _might_ make sense. Add in rent will surely rise over 50 years but a fixed mtg. payment would never rise. Kapish?
It would be good to not dismiss ideas just because you dislike the current President. He floats a lot of stuff as an innovative businessman.
