Turnaround Tuesday, FB Mystery and Trade Data

Welcome to what (in our whack-job) work should be a “turnaround Tuesday.”

In fact, we’ll be jumping for joy if our daily target level comes in.  Say, oh,  up 25 on the S&P by early afternoon?  Sooner is fine, of course. Like around 11:30 AM Central when Europe’s closing for the day, maybe.

A ton to go over today:  Markets, the Facebook Outage Mystery, and even a review of a great shortwave radio perfect for Preppers…

Tee Shot:  Big Picture Fugly

Which seems no one is watching – is that even with a minor bounce today, there’s a damn haunting rhymony off the 1929 high that lingers like stale cigarette smoke and cheap perfume in a sleazy dive somewhere…

The way I play markets – when actively trading – which I am presently – getting out of bed in the morning has a special brilliance to it.  Like waking up to the perfect crisp fall sunrise.  It’s like having ham and eggs and going to the Casino to see how the machines are running.

Next Wednesday, I’ll write up my current “system” of play on Peoplenomics.

But, since you’re going to tell your 9-thousand closest friends what a cool site UrbanSurvival is, here are two hints for you as to how the system works.

  1. There are 252 trading days this year.
  2. If you make 1/2 of one percent per day and compound that for 252 sessions, your potential return will be 351 percent.

Of course, you will have to reduce that because not every trade will be a “winner.”  Still, if you have the mental discipline to let winning trades run all the way to targets and cut losers at $75 bucks, seems to be fun.

Best of all?  You can develop a pretty good sense of how the world is running.  The market is a kind of “lagging shadow” of reality.  A fata morgana that throws off cash if played just so.  Thereby generating funds for your latest toys.  (More on these in “Around the Ranch” toward the end of today’s missive.)

Wave Count Madness

For now, it looks like the drop in our Aggregate Index to the 38,130 level was an extension of Wave 5 down.  If the market turn holds in this area, it will still portend a major decline over the month.  We MIGHT see the Dow drop 4,000 points from here, for example.

We don’t like being on the long side of market down trends (as I am going into this morning’s open).  Word from an old man?  Let the trend be your friend.  Don’t trade the wrong side of a trend unless it’s money you can lose.

The Facebook Downage Mystery

We need more reporters in the world who are good generalists Because the coverage of the six-hour Facebook downage Monday was a disaster.  People who really know the digital threat world (like .mil affairs contributor warhammer, for example) have to be pulling their hair out.

The GenPop you see is really, really stewpid when comes to ‘puters.

For the first several hours, the pre-programmed, follow-one-another child journo’s were parroting DDoS  (distributed denial of service) as the cause.

Had a grown-up reporter been present (one who at least knows the OSI model and such_) would have looked at the internet traffic sites and – in a flash of obviousness – noticed there were no traffic spikes like you’d see with a DDoS take-down.

This is troubling.  Because just like the vaccine and bioweapon stories, the press is (mainly) getting the FB fail wrong.

If it wasn’t (invisible) DDoS?  Ure’s list of candidates:

  • It could have been a comms attack of a foreign nation-state.  A warning that “While we’re flying formations of aircraft into Taiwan’s airspace, notice how easily we can isolate USPop?”  Yep…one possibility.  Especially if the CCP (which will endorse Xi’s “reunification agenda” at the end of the month with actual war likely to begin at the New Moon in November after the party officialdom is safely back home, after spending the weekend of  Oct. 29-31 in Beijing taking in the sights and doing the high-end Party tourism thing.  Special Operators would go in the night of Nov. and the airlift of Chinese occupation units the following weekend (Nov. 6 is a good hot date.)
  • Something REALLY DANGEROUS might have been about to be leaked.  In which case, we have the possibility that FB might have been taken down by our own government. I don’t know specifically what such an information package might contain, but imagine that a group of undeniable expert microbiologists were to describe a global (population-thinning) war crime involving all Globalist governments?  Or, what if something purported to be “from Hunter’s laptop” was evidence that could prove treason in high places.  Would that be a motivation for the tech-savvy in government to turn off FB for a while?
  • Is the Data Revolution in play?   We have posited many times here that Big Tech has already (or is in the process of) staging a “digital coup.”  Because they have the power:  “You give us massive web services contracts and keep exempting us from publisher liability.  In return, we will deliver elections, keep the lies about disease going, and censor whatever you tell us to…”  Which, to the power mad Bidenistas will sound like manna from Heaven.  Except, with cloud services, the Big Tech Revolutionaries on the Left would hold all government information HOSTAGE.  So turning off IP addressing is a “No, don’t mess with us...”?
  • Lefty’s Testing the Internet Kill Switch?  Here’s another one Slow Joe and the Merry Comrades may have done.  Set up the Internet Kill Switch.  Long an agenda item in the Oh-bummer administration, the enabling E.O. was inked back in 2012.  See “Obama signs order outlining emergency Internet control – CNET.”  You don’t really think a mandatory vax-the-Nation power-crazed government wouldn’t be setting us up for digital isolation would you?

As you should by now be realizing, there’s a lot of powerful reasons (other than the lack of traffic bottlenecks) to suspect Bigger in Play.  Whatever comes out (fire a network engineer in a big showy PR deal) we will have to remain skeptical.  This didn’t look like DDoS to us.

More like digital warfare perped on the public – The Prequel.

And check this out:  More movement toward what could be a global social credit system (for those dumb-enough to maintain a social presence).  As Russia Develops Tech for Monitoring ‘Deviant’ Behavior – reports The Moscow Times.

Our view is the primary “deviant behavior” is making money on people’s urge to share in the first place.  Secondary deviance is setting up a social account and going along with it.

Foreign Trade Data

We know there’s a ton of cargo that is sitting on ships and getting lost in the container yards out in (oily beaches) ‘Fornia.  Before reading this morning’s “happy-talk” from the Stalinist Statistics Bureau, have a gander at Cargo ships anchored near West coast ports could face a 4-week delay to dock, raising further fears over the global supply chain, a report says (on msn.com).

While we give a muter round of applause to Kamala Harris for giving well-overlooked clues into our immediate future, we will try to see if there’s any way this morning’s data squares with the four-week back-up problem?

As you may be thinking:  “Is the Biden administration somehow to blame for this because maybe goods coming in being delayed will delay billions in letters of credit from being presented to the (broken) financial system?

Damn, that’s a good one. WTFK?

But here’s the concerning part of the report:

“The international trade deficit was $87.6 billion in August, up $0.8 billion from $86.8 billion in July. Exports of goods for August were $149.0 billion, $1.1 billion more than July exports. Imports of goods for August were $236.6 billion, $1.9 billion more than July imports.”

But the markets don’t care:  After the number, the market was still up 140 on the Dow and high teens on the S&P.

Lunch money trading again! Whee!

Passing on Paper

We heard some cheers from Biden supporters this week when the story Refugee admissions hit record low, despite Biden’s reversal  popped.

Thing is, it doesn’t mean fewer people are coming in,  It just means no one is bothering with the paperwork.

Just another example of how detached from “the street” the Northeast Left really is.  After all, according to Victor Davis Hanson: The elite class won’t be affected by their own open borders agenda.  But, we assure you, they will have housekeepers and finely shorn lawns….

Thrill of the Swill

Having fun tearing down the overnight wires, are we?  More then!

Look out coin cons!  An almost “communist currency” awaits!  WEOWNS – the World’s First People’s Cryptocurrency.  No more of this ‘first in become rich, screw everyone who’s late’ crap?

Bend over and grab your wallet:  Homeownership Is The Least Affordable Since 2008 With Shelter Inflation About To Explode.

Spoiler Alert:  The Time story What the Oldest Footprints In North America Reveal About Us, doesn’t list “inept leadership” (or ‘common sense’)  as a commonality.

Righteous and Rural?  America’s Superstar Cities Aren’t What They Used to Be (bloombergquint.com).  Trust me when I tell you this:  Going into an uncertain future, the UrbanSurvival philosophy has paid off well.  Especially over the Housing Bubble Collapse.  Don’t live for max gains.  Live for min. losses.  Then – when you’re “locked down” and have a 30-acre forest to wander, it doesn’t seem so unbearable.  There are still places we haven’t set foot yet.

ATR:  Ham Radio Notes

In my Around the Ranch notes, we occasionally share goings-on out here in the woods.

Two very pleasing ham radio adventure-notes.

First, I decided that the absolute favorite among my ham radio gear (*in terms of general operating) has been my Icom 761.  While it’s not new technology (I use external DSP) they are some of the most enjoyable radios I’ve ever owned.

Now I own two – having picked up a second one this week on eBay.  Take a look at the eHam reviews on the radio (here) and you’ll see why I love ’em.  For a ham rig to have 4.9 stars out of 5 possible is a prodigious accomplishment.  The follow-on, Icom 765, is also ranked 4.9 stars.  And it holds down a respectable position on Rob Sherwood’s receiver ranking site (sherweng.com/table.html but no SSL so you may get a security warning).  Both the 761 and 765 are -140 dBm (meaning super-sensitive) radios.

Don’t know if I ever mentioned this, but I was the “voice of Icom” at the time the 761 came out.  Did the voiceover for the film of the radio’s release.  Had like serial number 005 at home for a week to play with long ago.

To a serious Morse code user, this is the “radio equivalent” to having a pair of ’55 Corvettes with matching numbers.  Though considerably cheaper!

Second radio note – and this is more Prepping oriented:

I recently picked up a dandy portable shortwave receiver on eBay for $55 bucks a couple of months back.  Just recently came in (from China Post).

Turns out to be one hell of a good receiver.  Not only does it have a built-in lithium battery good for several hours of use (didn’t run it down all the way) but it has amazing features for the price-point…

For the price?  OMG.  $72 at Amazon (Si4732 Full Band Radio Receiver FM MW SW SSB Airband Radio Receiver Scanner NAT Portable Handheld Radio Recorder Black,Aluminum Alloy Case,Built-in Battery, with Speaker, Antenna).  You can also get them from Wal-Mart  but it was showing out of stock this morning.

Four things to be aware of:

  • There is a small switch on the back to select the whip antenna for FM or lower bands.  The AM and HF performance will suck in the wrong position.
  • Second is that the antenna connector is a BNC-type.  If you plan to put a bigger antenna on the unit (highly recommended for DX (distant) receiving chores, then an adapter from BNC to [whatever] is in order.
  • The unit’s physical stability is not perfect.  If you are holding it in your hands and whack it, yes, the frequency will change slightly.
  • And yes, in order to use the BFO, you press in on the tuning dial.  Except – to a highly trained radio op – you will not hear the BFO change in the passband.  Which means?  BFO is easier than “Fine Tuning” or “Clarifier” for SSB and CW.

Definitely a great first-time prepper radio.

Just the ticket if you need something small (not much bigger than a pack of smokes), rechargeable, and versatile,  to find out why Facebook is down…  You’ll need a USB charging source, but who doesn’t, right?

Write when you get rich,

    • We have SPECTRE but we don’t have a 007.
We have supervillains but we don’t have a Justice League.

Or are they on the way?

  1. I’m pretty sure it was ZH I saw a report on yesterday that said the DNS servers’ A and triple-A tables had the IP addresses for FB, Twit and other completely wiped out of existence. That and there was someone testifying against one of them with particularly damning evidence, too. I’ve got your IP stashed somewhere, George, hope it hasn’t changed since earlier this year.

  2. Heads up G -Dog,

Major playa in fin svc’s just bent their employees over the retirement barrel yesterday and rammed them butt good.
Crazy thing about this breaking news is the co in question is the biggest playa in mutual fd-etf retirement planning/investment world.
News came out last night from the most solid, safe, secure investment manager on the planet.
We knew the “reset/breakdown” was inevitable, but never imagined the stalwart of the industry being the first to start “locking the doors. Current retires are kinda okay – just notified there monthly health Insurance premiums were no longer going to be paid -out. Done -kaput – finished just like that – email in middle of afternoon notification. Fallout is just now exploding into the ECU’s reality..$1500/mo. cash premium Done/No More – lump sum check in March will make us whole again, but the interm could be tricky for many caught off guard.

If Ure the paying attention kinda peep, not a sheep, then this is Ure Shot Across the Bow..public just got wind of the leaky plumbing underpinning global finance…how many pennies on the USD U want 4 a ChiCom Bond ? Hahahahahah – SOLD!

USA has been SOLDOUT – elites and their puppets – bushclintonobummaricebribemciansafbi bee laughing their collective asses off as they toast&salute their top dog, moloch .

    • Update #1 Power of the people it seems is REAL. VGD has backed down & retracted their early termination of retiree RMA accounts. Guess after having to shut down phone lines, fin&local media onslaught, protests, and lawsuit threats they blinked.
      * need to have or be working on a Plan B, C and D..in case of an “emergency”
dont know about rest of the folks on here, but a out of the blue, unforeseen $1500 punch hole in monthly budget is real BITCH.

      Got Health ?

  3. Re the FB ‘glitch’; doesn’t this outage portend something ominous to those who are deep into crypto currencies? I mean, if the masters of the universe can be taken down so extensively by either external forces or internal incompetencies (subterfuge?) then, how can these pop-up crypto currencies be considered reliable? If I had a few hundred thousand tied up in vapor dough, I’d be shitting myself watching this latest display of instability. No crypto for me!

    • Whadda ya think Ure USD is ? cotton-paper analog ?

No difference electronic -digital money – except of course Ures is UNLIMITED supply for MOAR – unhinged & unlimited with NO intrinsic value = FIAT.

U should be crapping Ureself over the daily loss of purchasing power due dollar inflation.. not potential crap scenarios.

Fiat Currency – its whats 4 Ure dinner, no need 4 ex lax, just hope U make it to the “john” in time..

$50K per Bitcoin , and they call THAT worthless. FMTT

      * USD are going away – done – stick a fork in em.

      – FedCoin is Ure future.

      Deal or Failure
      – whether you want to believe it or not..
Its a done deal, just wait for the news to roll along any time now.

      • I can grab fiat and run into any store or gas station in the country and walk out with stuff – perhaps even the stuff I wanted. I can’t do that with BTC or any crypto, and plastic can be turned off at the whim of the issuer – or the government.

BTC has its place for quick international transactions – even small ones, but I’d not make it the majority of my wealth. The same is true domestically for fiat.

  4. George

Ruler Biden has a nominee for Comptroller of the Currency. Her name is Saule Omarova.
She is a former citizen of the USSR and was trained in their university system under a scholarship system related to Lenin.
She is now a law professor at Cornell University.
She wants the Fed to control everyone’s money and get rid of free markets.
Odds are she gets the job.
    The Soviatation of America continues.

  5. My neighbor ( female 35) came over yesterday afternoon crying, shaking, and going nuts over faceborg being down. She asked me if could log on and told her I could care less for FB and she gave me a look that you would have thought I had just killed her cat in front of her. She was about to have a breakdown because of the site was down and I can understand with some how crazy they would be not being able to satisfy their social media addiction.

  6. Horse head in the bed. Plain and simple. “look what can happen, watch the news tomorrow”.
Don’t think too hard here, what is it on it’s face? Someone removed FB from the internet. It was a demonstration of power.
Doesn’t matter who did it really, to us little people.

    • Agreed. It doesn’t make sense that Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are all on the same network as the keycard readers. And it all went down simultaneously.

I think FB is hosted on the Amazon Cloud. A double-secret Amazon Super-admin turned them off.

    • Jo Jorge, I believe the takedown of these platforms was a big FU from the devolution folks. Who else has the power and capablity to wipe them off the net? Could be they have had enough of the censorship and BS. Was this just a “shot across the bow”? Going to be an interesting October……

    • Zeta Talk said The Council of World, or World Council did it. As a reminder and warning to these Bimbo Billionaires and their sycophant ilk, that the humans are NOT in charge.

New Madrid to rip by Dec to Feb is one of their most recent predictions.

  7. Ignore the reason HOW Facebook literally “disapeared” from the world for 6 hours … what it shows under the surface is how ANY INTERNET SYSTEM can be taken off line SUDDENLY and WITHOUT NOTICE by some entity that has the resources to figure out how that system runs and the willingness to do the task of taking the IP system DOWN.

Facebook’s engineers are NOT dummies and you can be sure they were working like hell … yet it still took them 6 hours to get their systems back up and running on the internet, and it is important to note there was NO physical cables cut or any physical destruction that caused their failure.

The internet is MUCH more vulnerable than most people realize, and so much of our infrastructure has now gravitated towards running on that infrastructure that a shut down of that system would cripple our everyday lives.

*Office and Home phone lines/systems are now mostly IP (internet) based.
*TV and Radio station feeds from out of the immediate market such as news and national programing are now heavily internet based (some still have dedicated long distance T-1 lines, but because of costs those are fewer and fewer – same data capacity at 1/10 to 1/50 the cost via the internet)
*Obviously ALL internet based news feeds are IP based (incluing ure know who)
*Obviously ALL social media and independent news feeds are IP based
*Remote Consumer banking is 98% IP based
*Large chunks of the credit card approval process for transactions at the retail end is IP based (again what company wants to pay for dedicated T-1 lines anymore?) since their phone system connection for many is IP reliant
*Gas stations? For large chunks of the industry their cash registers will NOT work if cut off from their IP connection – so can’t even buy gasoline for CASH!! many places if the IP system is down

The list of our Internet Dependency could go on and on … but we HAVE become super dependent upon that infrastructure in a way that can only be matched by our dependency upon the electrical grid generation/delivery system .

*After decades of making the electrical grid “robust” … NY City (the entire NE US) had a Blackout. SO they made it MORE robust … and NY City (and the NE) had ANOTHER Blackout!!

*A backhoe operator in NJ accidentally cut a single fiber optic cable (about 10 years ago) … voila virtually ALL of Manhatten could NOT call off the island or receive calls from anywhere in the country!!! Telecommunications to and from Manhatten were cut off FOR HOURS.

So … “Do YOU know where your kids are tonight?” Whoops, meant to say “Do YOU know where your candles, flashlights, and transistor radios are tonight?”

    • I know where candles, matches, and flashlights are. I have flashlights scattered all over the house and two in arm’s reach here. The refrigerator has a dozen stuck there with integral magnets(Thanks, Harbor Fright). Don’t forget the headlamps either. They’re seriously useful when you’re working with both hands in the dark. There are no (battery)transistor radios in the house, but five radios available in the same number of cars here. I’ll be looking into the all band radio that George suggested at Amazon. There’s also a SW radio here that will work with an inverter, and an aircraft band handheld.

I never noticed the missing Faceburg but read about it. I’m still trying to find a reason to use it for something. If it’s that prevalent, there must be some utility value there. Maybe I should make an account.

  8. I have the answer for Facebooks outage…”Shit Happens”.
Any other conspiracy laced theory would make a great script for the sequel of Dumb and Dumber.
You all can get back to work now and live your lives. Life is too good to let stupid crap like this take up space in the cranium.

  9. I’ve used a lot of Icom radios over the years and Ure the ‘voice of Icom’. That’s very cool.

That’s all I’ve got for today…I’m too stressed and depressed to type.

  10. I had a vivid dream last night that all those container ships off the coast of Long Beach contained thousands of Chinese soldiers and other war fighting equipment. Please tell me it isn’t possible.

    • Interesting dream.

I haven’t said anything to anyone, but I’ve been wondering if an amphibious landing force could be hidden in all those container ships. It’s starting to look like the invasion of Normandy.

      • rumored Spetnaz operators were up the Mississippi back in the 80’s on container ship (s) ..
Small units is feasible, larger fighting force – not so much.
40 Foot Containers -perfect hosts for Russian ICBM “mobile” launchers.
Ruskies roll nuke trains, trucks, planes, subs, frigates, under water drones – they also roll with a fleet of Containers carrying really nifty hyper sonic nuke missiles..at tiny fraction of the cost of the US military. Hear we thought it was cheap chyknees junk on all those container ships floating off coast of Cali.

      • I was going to write something about a conspiracy with the ports when it dawned on me that the ports are now owned by Chinese companies, I think. Hmmmm. Red Dawn by sea?

Anyway, such a Trojan Horse would go down as the greatest intelligence failure in history. To play it safe, maybe one of you should alert the Coast Guard.

      • Silly Question Maj.. why would they have to have a hidden team … we have an open southern border..
Isis and the Taliban came right out and said that was how they were going to get in.. it isn’t a secret..
but seriously.. why would they have to our congress is doing a pretty good job already.. all they have to do is wait….

      • They can’t stay in those containers THAT long can they? Half would be dead already from the waste disposal issues.

      • “rumored Spetnaz operators were up the Mississippi back in the 80’s on container ship (s)”

??? KLUB-K….defense system.. meant to be mobile and remotely operated.. that’s one fear I’ve had for years.. Congress sold the ports for a few silver coins and only a few containers are checked.. they could be anywhere.. and if your a country that had fears that the bigger country would eventually push them around.. how would you want to deal with them.. toe to toe or .. position behind them or within their borders.on top of that.. the Taliban and ISIS came right out and said that was what they were planning. Now we have open borders and an administration flying people that haven’t been checked in..
        https://youtu.be/f_c_PeIIeMw
Besides selling ports and toll roads. We sold out industry and sold off land and our debt to others in the way of loans..

  11. I picked up my second Kenwood TS-520 Saturday at the local club’s hamfest. It was sitting on the club table, quite a few people walked by it and twiddled the knobs. A note was affixed that said “No RX”, it was in decent cosmetic condition, with tight controls and no signs of moisture, a concern here in SC. For some reason, I found myself walking back to it several times. Finally I made a ridiculous offer to the attending club member, stating “it’s probably a good parts radio for my other one”, at which point he said, “I’ll take it”. I paid the man and proceeded to lug it back to the truck. I got home I opened it up and did a cursory visual check, powered it up and after some rigorous exercising of the switches the RX came right back. Went through the tuning procedure and it had very good output. Sprayed out the controls and put it back together, hooked up an antenna and promptly made contact with a 5W QRP station in Chile.

  12. George, if the crap hits the fan, could you specify a freq. that we could monitor to get news and info about what is happening ? An urban survival go to band and frequency.

    • Wm of Radio Ranch says 7.299 LSB on high end of 40 is good.
I like the 3880 am area
And the family “long distance” net is the maritime mobile net on 14.300 USB

    • “if”. What a cockeyed optimist.

Everything will normalize after Christmas. All the folks getting fired this quarter will surely get apology letters by then.

The way I look at it, we’ve got a maximum of two years from last paid property tax bill to eviction. Reread ‘Grapes. People will take the houses.

      Chapter 5 Cliff:

“Representatives of the company come to tell the tenants that they must get off the land. Sharecropping is no longer profitable, so the bank has bought the land to farm. The men representing the company are mean or nice or cold because they are ashamed of what they are doing, yet none take responsibility for their actions. It is not their fault, but the fault of the Bank, and the Bank is not a person. The squatters try to bargain, offering to rotate crops or to take a smaller share, but the bank men are not interested. The tenants argue that the land belongs to them because their families have lived and died on it, but the bank men only reply, “I’m sorry.”

The next day, a tractor arrives, bulldozing whatever is in its path. Disconnected from the land on which he works, the driver is not a living man, but an extension of the tractor. The tenants recognize him as the son of a neighbor and question why he would help to put his neighbors out of their homes. He replies that he has his own family to take care of, and the bank will pay him three dollars a day, every day. The tenant wants to know whom he should kill to get his land back, but there is no person he can fight. While the tenant tries to figure out what to do, the tractor bites into the corner of his house.”

      • Doesn’t matter whether you’re a sharecropper or own the land outright. You can still have it yanked away from you if you don’t pay AAALLLL your taxes. Miss a penny, so sallley. That’s just one of my nightmares as we go into “Winter”.

  13. Yep got suckered again on turnaround Tuesday. Make it seem so common and ok a rigged stock market . Should go long every Monday

  14. Yep so true george. I will just stay disciplined. 1 short markets 2 long usd 3 long treasuries 4 long highest velocity gold stock in world . Yep no signal on gold . But . I am sick of these elite facists . Gold will destroy there evil games . Not inflation or reset stories . Just a hardened Jedi using all weapons to combat and survive. Anyway good luck to all . Me I love discipline

  15. That’s a damn nifty (and cheap!) little all-purpose receiver. All it lacks is a transmitter section. I’m still blown away by my little DMX-40 CW transceiver with integral encoder/decoder for Morse code. At $350 it’s a bit pricey, but an entry level ham technician license gives you CW privileges on the HF bands. So even if you do NOT know Morse code, you can use this DMX-40 as a shortwave prepper’s ‘text transceiver’.
    https://www.preppcomm.com/products/dmx-40-transceiver

  16. I know I’m a social oddball. Never got into the social media thing at all. My phone? I’m on the ‘personal digital assistant’ bandwagon with my apps… but not games and I’m not ‘screen addicted’ like most of the population. So I find it highly amusing that people have emotional meltdowns when they lose their facefarts. I was a TV engineer for decades, and I am not mesmerized by a screen. I can turn off a display device and walk away at any time… and frequently do. I know how the sausage is made, and I don’t find it entertaining nor entraining.

  17. look at sheetcoin !!!!!! yep jerome the jerk and his goomba generals doing a bit of inside trading . stay disciplined folks . they aint that good or tough . i respect george , gees 25 years i communicate and respect him , thats a real friend . he has his ways i have mine . he is an elliot man im a gann man . this will be horrific . elliot gives different routes to destination , gann just says bang there

  18. “Thing is, it doesn’t mean fewer people are coming in, It just means no one is bothering with the paperwork.”

It takes YEARS of effort for most people to realize that what a politician or attorney MEANS is EXACTLY what THEY said, not what YOUR BRAIN “TRANSLATES” their speech into. If something is there, its presence means something. If something is not there, it ain’t a part of the deal…

  19. “Si4732”

Didja notice there were a number of model Si4732 radios, by a number of different “manufacturers?”

I haven’t figured out if this happens because a company plays label-hockey, or because the ChiComs “public domain” some products, making it so any manufacturer who wishes can build the same device.

Probably gonna buy one. I have an Eton Elite, a Grundig Sattelit 800, but they’re both big, battery radios. I also have a pocket Tecsun PL-600, which could use some company…

  20. “Users worldwide are reporting issues with the following services:

    •Facebook & FB Messenger
    •Instagram
    •Twitter
    •WhatsApp
    •T-Mobile / TMBLE Metro
    •Spectrum
    •Verizon
    •AT&T
    •Google
    •Cricket Wireless
    •Amazon
    •Apple
    •TikTok
    •Snapchat”

Now, a farcebook foxtrot uniform would take out fartbroke, twit, and nothing’s up, but not the rest. TM, Verizon, and AT&T are the wireless backbone. IIRC Cricket and Spectrum are both parasitic wireless “providers” and Spectrum is one of the companies tasked with passing out “Obama-phones” (actually “Reagan-phones,” but nobody pays attention, any more…) Google and Apple could flake if the Amazon (cloud) got dicey. I don’t see anything socking it to Instagram or the ChiCom surveillance apps (apologies to Judy Carne) unless it made some trunk or backbone lines spotty…

Now, come up with a reasonable (probably) single point of failure which covers all the above. THEN come up with a reason why facewaste techs would fall on their swords.

  21. On Top Of Everything Else, Could We Potentially See 2 Major Wars Start Before The End Of The Year?

…Usually, there is a very clear build up before hostilities begin, and we are seeing the same pattern today
…by now it should be exceedingly clear to everyone that Israel and Iran will be going to war
…Likewise, by now it should be exceedingly clear that China very much wants to invade Taiwan

Michael Snyder is part Christian and part Chicken Little, but that doesn’t make him wrong…

  22. It Begins:

Federal Investigators Are Issuing Warrants for Google to Turn Over Anyone Typing in Certain Search Terms
In an attempt to track down criminals, federal investigators have started using new “keyword warrants” and used them to ask Google to provide them information on anyone who searched a victim’s name or their address during a particular year, an accidentally unsealed court document that Forbes found shows.
