Tequila Tuesday: Sinko or Cinco? Time War 2 and Strategic Meteorology

Let me line out how today will roll around here: Markets are trying to bounce, geopolitics are trying to ignite, and somewhere in between—AI is quietly eating the trade balance.

The “good stuff” though is at the margins.  As in marginal source claim and marginal weather. So grab some (it’s Cinco de Mayo) salt and limes and let me know “Does MCT oil work in a tequila sunrise?”

Trade Trembles – Hostilities and Hype

The Rube Goldberg linkage is there, but you’ll need a variable time reactor to see it.

International Trade numbers have just come in from Census.  The headline part says
The goods and services deficit was $60.3 billion in March, up $2.5 billion from $57.8 billion in February, revised.

But your eyeballs may see a little more to it in this chart:

Somehow in our readings, though, we stumbled into this from the Minneapolis Fed: Much more than microchips: Trade soars in AI-related goods, driving U.S. trade deficit | Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis. As I explained yesterday, all that high-end (24 GB VRAM) gear isn’t going for high-end rewrites of Duke Nukem or the Marios.  Going into AI – no doubt some fraction of which are heading the ad-driven AI which is doubtlessly “in the works.”

Bottom Line: The trade deficit isn’t just boxes on boats anymore. It’s compute, chips, racks, cooling, power bills, and the new industrial religion: velocity.

The Trembles Part

With President Trump warning Iran Monday that it was stupid to attack U.S. Naval ships, the learning capacity of the Tehran regime continues to seem impaired (at best).  Their narrative? ‘We have not even begun’: Iran’s warning as it accuses US of ceasefire breach.  Why, this has a kind of John Paul Persian ring to it, huh?

We would not be surprised to see the ramp up to pre “war clock stopping” by, oh, the weekend, or so.

Tequila Matters

Cinco de Mayo: the one day Americans celebrate a battle they can’t locate on a map—with liquor they can’t pronounce.  Which – as the Detroit Free Press explains, is NOT really what many people claim: No, Cinco de Mayo is not Mexican Independence Day. Here’s what it means.

Other than a murky CIA link to recent events in southern Mexico’s drug cleanup, Mexico has its share of big nation problems.  One of which is Mexico City is sinking by nearly a foot every year: new study.  Sinking on Cinco – the punchline at last arrives.

Though if we were really being snarky, we could mention that Mexico’s navigations skills leave a little something on the table as 2 dead, 19 injured after Mexican navy sailboat crashes into Brooklyn Bridge, mayor says.

Perhaps Iran could offer a correspondence course in “bridge play.”

In Other Shipping News

There’s a reason we didn’t renew our passports: where is left to go anymore? I mean think about it, other than “interior design finishing school” (Disneyworld) we over-did travel up until we sold our plane.  We still miss living on the sailboat, but for now?

Opening up The Insurance Journal reminds me that Home really is sweet. Hantavirus Outbreak on Cruise Ship Leaves 3 Dead, WHO Says.

Do ship-board credits apply?

Time War (2)

This is just interesting as hell: Instagram (Turn on your audio.) Who is Henry Martinez, and why does this feel like another breadcrumb from the edge of the map?

Contagious Hysteria

Last  newsable note has to do with the price of precious metals coming down.  The Iranian attacks on other oil producing states may be forcing some into selling off precious metals (and other assets) in order to make payrolls (and payoffs).  That’s how governments remain stable, anymore.

We just had a big wave of crypto hysteria roll under the keel, too:  like this one: Bitcoin Signals Explosive Breakout as ETF Demand Strengthens Key Support – 36Crypto.  But explosive upside? Seriously?

If your memory is going, a common thing at our ages (Elaine’s and mine total 160 now) you may have forgotten that Bitcoin hit $126,272.76 (intraday) on October 6, 2025.

Some coin hucksters round it slightly (e.g., ~$126,210–$126,273), but they all point to that same early-October 2025 peak.

Earlier today, BTC was in high-hover around $81,000.  For those who are seriously math-impaired, we’ll skip the percent decline calculation to get from $126 thousand down to $81K.

Then there are more technically significant stories like Adam Back, the Rumored Satoshi, Shares Bullish Bitcoin Signal.  This nibbles around passing upward through 200 day moving average. Those of us who have crunched numbers a while (e.g. are older) remember that “kissing the 200” is often the end of a rally.  It could be part of the Kiss of Death from which all hell breaks loose on the downside.

You’ll just have to wait and see – I don’t have a wallet.  I prefer more fungible assets. Food, seeds, ammo, energy…but that’s just George the Luddite rambling…

Around the Ranch: Strategic Meteorology

If you never get out of the “AIR CONDITIONING BUBBLE” this will be a pointless discussion.  So go have some toast and jam at work today – see you Thursday.

But if you actually have outdoor assets  we’re now in the thick of Bubble Transition Time.

It’s like playing the winds in a sailboat race.  Every nuance of the weather forecast is studied to see how close it will come to your personal thermostat max.  Mine is 83F.  Which means I lay down the outdoor project tools above 83 and find something productive to do inside where it’s cool (75) and dry because of the A/C.

Still dry for another day, or so.  Which means a bit more weed-whacking (and 20 percent) vinegar spraying may take place.  That will be followed by three delightful days of low 70s with a good chance of rain.  I don’t mind working in the rain – gives the same cooling effect as sweat on your clothing but without all that damn work.

Saturday the Sun comes back for a one-day engagement. Since rain is forecast Friday, this means an early Tour d Yard on the mower.  Damp ground doesn’t kick up dust.

You know you’re verging on retired when you put more miles on the riding mower than on the car in a two week period. It would be for a whole month, except there’s a mandatory personal appearance involved in teeth cleaning soon.

Strategic weather planning also involves food.  Cool days when I may be mistaken for an actual worker, a few carbs are OK.  Spaghetti, stews, fresh-baked bread. When the sun’s back?  Steaks or burgers on the broiler, chicken teriyaki on big tossed salads…oh, extra BBQ sauce and Elaine likes well done. Ribs and beer are almost due.

And that’s how you read the weather; not just a simple “Umbrella?” check.  Nope.  Whole supply chain of life needs to flow with it.  Right down to the right parts coming in from Amazon or Wally World to be on hand when you need ’em.

I could write for weeks about how important the harmonizing of life with the important cycles of life is, but you probably already know that the Peak of the Margarita Cycle today means the peak of the Shrimp Salad cycle will be here in just two months.

Just remember to choose your partner like a good wine – someone who ages well – and it will all work out.

Twisted by Wrench

Our local, offline AI (Wrench) sees Tuesday this way:

Today’s currents reveal a world fractured yet deeply interconnected—where digital tectonics ripple through physical, emotional, and existential domains. The “rendering space” is not just shared thought—it’s the entire theater of human survival and meaning-making. And in that space, balance comes not from control, but from attunement: to others, to time, to weather, to capital, and yes—even to the quiet rhythms beneath.

Grab your salt and limes—ask MCT oil a tequila sunrise? Perhaps later. But for now, stay grounded.

  1. I have two knees and one ankle that will precisely tell me what the weather situation will be within 24 hours.
    Stay safe. 73

    • I hear you on that one..can’t say if it will be nice or nasty just a change coming our way…

  2. The Bitcoin 200DMA crossing over $60K is very bullish there Mr. Ure. $60K is widely regarded as the bottom of this super-cycles mid run signature 50% pullback we touched it twice intraday a number of weeks back, in Asia, and hasn’t looked back.

Again, Uncle Larry has been around the block, I think he’s paying attention to Bitcoins macro pattern behaviors.

    https://youtu.be/HCRFVThSTfY

A 91% pullback from the ATH of $700,000.00 per Bitcoin puts us where home gamers? Puts us back near that 60k base @ ~$63,000.00. Such action would be typical of Bitcoins macro pattern behaviors.
I don’t buy that downside risk is n muted because the upside this cycle has been muted. Maybe if this was a typical 4years macro cycle, but it’s not IMHO. When I see a 50% drawdown like past super cycles, it’s signal. And intended to shake off the weak hands

Could we top before $700K which makes the pull back math to $60K previous cycle ATH range easier to attain. I could be wrong and 80-90% drawdowns are a thing of the past. But to me the jury is still out on that one. Regardless, Bitcoin $1M seems like it’s not a stretch, just a question of time horizon. Meanwhile I HODL for dear life and add tranches of lunch money to my position. I’ll be allocating my to other targets when we pass 125K, as lunch money at those levels will only buy Bitcoin dust at that point lol.

This is not advice home gamers, just musings and illusions. But so is Fiat. lol.

    • Have a similar approach regards BTC specifically. I dont use it for large purchases anymore, since House/Truck/Boat/Property Maintenance in Belize, and then only half of price for everything. Mr Mkt has been the “PiggyBank” of choice last 8 years or so.
Have started a collection of Shit Coin positions this past year, in Coins whose Use Cases’ I understand, all of which were RM’d by Dick Algires grp, and can get behind, and already are “working”.
Crypto Winter seemed best time to ACCULMULATE crypto SheetCoins and BTC. I have named those Coins on these pages for those interested. Not Advice, Strictly ENTERTAINMENT purposes, strictly.
The above being stated – Youse all should have understanding regards my idea of Entertainment, like shooting english Sparrows..POOF! of Feathers and the treat is gone.
english Sparrows will KILL a Bluebird if can trap/catch one inside its box. This is why my backyard Bluebirds murdered a family of baby Sparrows in a Blue Bird nest box in back yard this Spring, they stuffed the entrance with grasses, suffocating the babies while holding off the parents. The bird wars will be taking on new dimensions later this week with arrival of new PCP Bullpup in .177 GAME ON Fckrs..

      * found a DEAD Female Bluebird in box mid/late Summer, on Eggs last year, that sight is still BURNED in my Mind..gonna take alot of bloody Sparrow feathers to erase that mental wound.

      • Gold finches have turned bright yellow and will migrate soon, the Azure Buntings just arrived today 5 so far, they will spend about a week here, then gold finches and buntings will migrate,, keeping an eye out for the Indigo Buntings as I uaually get 2 or 3 with the Azuras!!!
When ya get fed up with the low Quality chinese ventura pellet gun and compressor,, look to european brands,, the turkey brands are asian quailty also, hatsan is a brand I will not buy again
spend some of that bitcoin,,, while ya can
Tulips for sale at the green house and walmart, they get cheaper when the season comes to an end\
Only English house sparrows and NOT the Harris, Chipping, Tree, or White Striped sparrows, my cats love dinning on the English, but alas they are few in number around my pcps,,, accuracy has the final say, the neighbors purple martin house has martins again since ole darrell got into pellet guns, culling the nesting English sparrows and Starlings from it.

        • Biggest drawback is Charging the PCP – why I just ordered the Nano compressor. At over a $1000 bucks for bullpup, scope, and compressor, zeroed in preship, is the tipping point on budget.
Pretty much done with Turkish brand, still have one for Iguanas in CA.
As for my extreme prejudice towards sparrows..I only remove the ones the Blues & Swallows go after.
2 years with a purple martin house – no Martins yet, purple or otherwise, but have evicted several sparrows/nests from it.

Have tried a German breakbarrel pellet rifle – heavy gun, very accurate, worked beautifully and was way out of my price range at the time. Guy who owned it used it for Whistle Pigs. Named thusly due to the fact that when you whistle – they stand up on hind legs. Whistle Pig = Ground Hog or Woodchuck..like Pennsyltucky Phil, the shadow hog.

  4. Eat Kim Chi or take the pill version for better health, creatine monohydrate great for the brain and muscles. My wife asked me if we are moving to Texas from California, I laughed and told her not yet. We live a few blocks away from her parents, her mom is 86 and her dad about to be 88 later this month.

    • Good luck to you Tim S. I GTFO L.A. (CA) four decades ago, as you could see the warning signs even back then. There are a lot of CA expats where I’m at. Although I see the signs I saw in the 80’s in LA appearing where I’m at now, (doesn’t help that Hollywood also discovered it), and with my spot on an island hiding in plain sight on a triple trajectory, I’ll be pulling the rip cord soon, as the secret is starting to leak out. And the cap appreciation will follow the Newsome bell curve sooner than later LOL.

    • Good choice to stay with the wife two parents still alive and still there.

Always loved to visit CA but decided after grad school to NOT move there. Beautiful state, prettiest on in the country imo, but the people although nice can be a bit off putting in the mind of this midwesterner. If it had been the late 40’s through the 50’s I definitely would have moved there. Still get out there almost every other year for a nice vacation, never had a bad vacation there, … but still don’t want to move there.

Texas is a different place. I know George and Elaine transitioned well but years ago I turned down a great offer to move there, the Texas mindset just didn’t fit “me”. Spend some time there, not just vacation time, before deciding to move there full time so you can see if it “fits you”.

  5. Chart fluctuations….JC asked yesterday..Can the Dow hit 50,000 ? Sure it can — markets can always climb to any height. the graph can go up or down…
But it all has to be proportionate.
I think of it like a dogs watering dish … one side goes down, the other rises to keep the level…. If the dollar weakens, you need more of them to buy the same assets, so the index looks higher even if real value hasn’t changed….AND … It works as long as wages or wage distribution keep pace…..

During the Weimar collapse, some employers had to pay workers multiple times a day just to keep up with the falling currency….

So yes, the Dow can go higher as high as theres blue sky above and wages keep the dow up…

But you have to consider that the numbers alone don’t tell you whether people are actually better off because of it….

Instead It’s really all about what the dollar is worth when it gets there and whether wages kept pace with the increases… lol… I was better off when I made $2.75 an hour than I am now…

So its A dollar up, a dollar down world — the system only works as long as all the levels on both sides continue to match.

Expenses, interest, wages… they all have to stay in balance with the value of the currency.

It’s like pushing a wet noodle across a table….. i call it Noodlenomics….with the perfect flow it moves smoothly…. too much and it dissolves, too little and it snaps and breaks apart…

History shows what happens when the levels get wildly out of sync — Argentina once hit interest rates in the thousands of percent just to keep the flow moving…
So sure, the Dow can climb to any number you want blue sky’s the limit..
The real question everyone should ask is whether everything else continues to rise with it….
the whole system only works if everything stays proportionate. If one side of the dish drops while the other floods, you won’t get a smooth adjustment, you get a full blown mess.
When wages, expenses, interest rates, and currency value stop matching each other,Then everyone loses.
Bank balances can and will evaporate in real terms… one day your a millionaire..the next day its oh shit all I have is a million bucks… In Zimbabwe a loaf of bread hit tens of millions of dollars.
In Argentina, everyday items reached absurd prices because the currency was falling faster than people could earn. just like a plane.
You can climb toward the moon all you want, but if the lift and the weight stop matching, the plane stops flying and you’re in a freefall…

    • We are in The Outer Limits…

They can control everything that we see and hear.

TV. Computer screens, cell phones, X.

      Everything.

Smoke, mirrors, illusions and who knows what else.

Maybe Jeffrey Epstein and Netanyahu are pulling the string?

      Off to the the wizard…

      • I believe the bigger question..isn’t that the rising DOW index is making people great deals of numbers on a sheet of paper…
Instead the bigger question is…while they are watching the index climb rubbing their hands in anticipation — and still keeping the money thats already earned worth what it was while still growing your income…. the true issue is retaining value while amplifying income is the ultimate game…..

Doug Macgregor is a functional imbecile. He is one of my bellwetherss, because he’s almost always wrong. His specialty is spreading disinformation. Trump hired him to shut him up. A few months later Biden fired him to get him back in front of a CNN mic.

      • What a great article TBS….

        (“1.06 trillion dollars—from a $500 deposit!!!
And what if I told you that some interest groups deposited that money 2,000 years ago, and now have $56.09 sextillion?”)

what I’ve told all the kids and grandkids.. while young invest in a stable fund..for me it was savings bonds that I suggested..the sad part is I didn’t realize my fathers wisdom until it was to late..just the portion that was deducted from paychecks would have netted after the compounding a tad over fifty million..if I could have directed where those funds were invested…

(“You probably waste your entire life and schooling to attain an $80k job to buy a house on a mortgage. The person who came before needed much less and already had a house, and gave birth to you. Every generation gets less for more. The farther away you are from the initial deposit, the more insignificant you and everything you do become.”)

my grand daughter and her husband both have excellent professional jobs..looking at a house… between the two of them they make way over a quarter mil a year..and expecting a baby…(” guaranteed great grandpa WON’T spoil it..oh he’ll who am I trying to fool on that one lol lol ..”)
Now.. even at that level of income..to buy a house and pay daycare..they don’t make enough..
because of our health issues the wife and I were sitting out on the veranda having a cup of wine and I said hun..what are your thoughts on giving them our house as long as we are allowed to remain in our bedroom ..Rent even for low income exceeds wages right now..you read all this happy horse shit that is being doled out as see your doing great..is being spread by executives that live in areas where real world issues rarely are even seen as the storm flows on behind them… in a neighboring town..A gent got a garage package and converted it into a house..
the base wage even for renting should be over twenty five an hour..just for rent..
what shocks me is..those with resources and numbers backing their existence.. can’t even see that what their resources are..is actually diminishing in value all while they are watching it..going oh yah baby I’m sailing high now…until your not..then it will be oh shit what The hell just happened..

  6. George the Luddite, feeling wrenchy though old and worn. Yesterday I did tractor miles mowing three make yards (all connected, absent friends) plus part of the upper 40. Then I set and spun up the BBQ (a super Weber, cook in the round, hey?). Mrs. E celebrated with boathouse patio martinis basking in sunny 70s. Change in the wind, rows of clouds with gray bottoms rolled in. By the time I removed meat and asparagus from the grill it was pouring. After dinner the swirl served hail in thunderstorms. Uhm, Hon, know where your shoes are? Bet we got another inch or rain. Glad I mowed. Love it when a plan comes together. Next the tractor will tow the roller around the barn. I’m sick of the beating from ruts.

Moody here. Joining others to say goodbye to a dear friend and comfort his widowed wife. Flip side, had a lovely online vid. chat with E2, E3 and our DIL who … is ready to launch our Granddaughter. I am looking forward to the one and maudlin about the other. After the viewing I plan to go sit, armed to the teeth, at the widow’s home.

Today is no day for short pants. I tried but am running up the white flag.
Mother Nature has over-matched me. Again. Still.
    Got water? Get ya some.

  7. George
I saw your comment about not understanding Gamer Computers when they were big a few days ago.
I was looking at them from a different angle. When I see a “Gamer Computer” my mind says “3D CAD Workstation.”
The big Vid cards were being sold to us Engineers by Nvidia and others to allow piping drawings to be laid in as fast as the old Pipe Screen Saver. 3D also allowed the piping designers to find where they were trying to place two pipes in the same space.
The cards also allow the gamers to make more and more realistic video, with water reflections and ripples that look natural.
Your nudge made me go look in the attic boneyard for my old tower computers that had some significant Video cards to see what I had , but most of them are way obsolete by now.
Meanwhile I have gone all laptop, since for the last 15 years or so of my working life I had the designers working for me and only needed a drawing viewer to make corrections on others work.
My laptops are all high end for the time they were new, and all have the maximum RAM the BIOS would allow (the three still in rotation have 8, 16, and 32 Gig of RAM each.) But the Video runs by borrowing RAM from the board, so they will probably be limited for AI. Sounds like time to build a new tower.
Also on deck for today is that Big Al and Little Anna have been married 42 years today! We were married on 5/5 before it became a big Tequila Party, but it was fun enough. Despite our constant bickering we have managed to stick together and are still planning to develop her little patch of land in the country into a retirement spot outside of town before the SHTF. Wish us luck!

  8. It really does appear that Trump does not want to vaporize Iran’s infrastructure.., which he could easily order., and accomplish – but at this point the countries destruction would only hurt the Iranian people – and not the rule-by-force Muslim radicals that have taken over the country.
Destroying their electrical generation., bridges., ports and oil/gas manufacturing facilities right now would set the country back so far, that it would take decades to rebuild – and the only ones that would be hurt, seriously hurt, would be the true Iranians.
Trump is in a very hard position right now. Where do you draw the line? When do you say “enough!”. Putting U.S. boots-on-the-ground in Iran would costs us hundreds of lives., and thousands of Iranians. ., and nobody wants that. And the terrorist attacks against our troops would be never ending. It would be horrific. And the outcry from the U.S. population could up-end the government.
The Iranian people could rise-up.., but they would be slaughtered by the thousands – probably the bloodiest up-rising in history as the ruling class and military will not give up easily – they are in love with their power, lifestyle and absolute, ruthless control. A very ugly civil war that would last for many years.
The ‘solution’ ? I only see one. And it is going to cost thousands of lives.
The situation, as it stands now, can not go on much longer. A choice.., a decision has to be made – while there is still room to maneuver. “Before” the Iranian military goes full-on bat-shit crazy and forces massive military “regime change”., from Israel and the U.S.

    Si vis pacem, para bellum.

    “Stay Frosty !”

    • Iranians remind me of a small town in Iowa,, who knew a stranger would come to town drink a beer, eat hamburger and wipe out the ruling terrorists in a single day? Cheers,, who was that stranger,, Hi Ho Silver
my condolences with your loss of Lady Fingers,, the story would make a great movie

      • She was an incredible lady – a real ‘force’ to be reckoned with. Some of her stories from the fifties and sixties – wow – how she managed to ‘not’ go to jail, I have no idea. .., and I thought I was pretty slick – she was real pro.

        I will miss her.

Still haven’t gone to her lawyer to get the letter she left for me. I somehow dread do it. Don’ know why – just an odd feeling.

Her son told me he has received of 300 messages and condolences.

      • And what was in Lady Fingers final letter to you? Enquiring minds want to know.

        • I ‘still’ haven’t gone to her lawyer and got it.

Been putting it off. For some ‘unknown’ reason.

Decided I will pick it up Friday morning and read it over the weekend.

          I’ll let ya know….,

    • Why exactly are we at war with Iran?

Why were we at war with Iraq?

      What happened in Libya?

      What happened in Syria?

Where are the Jeffrey Epstein Files?

Weren’t they on Pam Bondi’s desk?

      Where is Pam Bondi?

Where is Stormy Daniel’s when we need her?

      • “Why exactly are we at war with Iran?”

I thought you were one of Stu’s contemporaries? We’re in Iran to keep your ungrateful ass from being vaporized by an Iranian nuke.

What is a “Stormy Daniel” and why are you so obsessed with it?

        • “Vaporized by an Iranian nuke” is a psy-op. Sorry I don’t buy it.

Stormy Daniels reference is meant to be humorous. Trump’s porno star girlfriend.

Hey, when is Trump going to invade N. Korea and confiscate the nukes before Kim decides to “vaporize”?

        • @JC

““Vaporized by an Iranian nuke” is a psy-op. Sorry I don’t buy it.”

So you’re saying Stu is a liar?

“Stormy Daniels reference is meant to be humorous. Trump’s porno star girlfriend.”

Not according to both of them. Stormy didn’t allegedly have any relationship with Trump until one of the sleazebags at the DNC offered her a couple hundred thou to say she did. In case you didn’t catch it, Trump sued her for defamation, won the suit (because she was lying) and was awarded $700,000, which she has refused to pay. She’s not the kind of person with whom I’d ever want to be associated, but if she turns your crank then keep fantasizing. BTW, just so you know, she stopped sucking dick and now, just sucks. She weighs 250 pounds and tries to do standup. She’s not very good at comedy.

“when is Trump going to invade N. Korea”

Why would he do that? Kim is no danger, because he’s not crazy. The Iranian Mullahs ARE crazy and if they got a nuclear arsenal, would use it as soon as they could deliver the goods. Can you not divine the difference…?

    • The problem with that kind of action of taking out Iran’s infrastructure is that it opens a Pandora’s box similar to the response by governments that were against Adolph’s military expansion during WW2 .
In a conflict already viewed negatively by much of the world, deliberately destroying a country’s civilian infrastructure could trigger consequences far beyond the battlefield.
It wouldn’t just hit the leadership — it would devastate ordinary people, destabilize the region even more than its destabilized now, and likely draw international backlash….
Once that line is crossed , control is lost on what comes next. The question isn’t whether it’s possible, but what Would the fallout be, and whether the long term consequences would be far worse than the short term gain.

      • The Persians have given consent to bomb anything we need to, regardless its value as infrastructure. Apparently they would disagree with you regarding gains and consequences. Perhaps one can only watch so many of their infant grandchildren be raped, then strangled or beheaded, before they begin to value the freedom of which they have none, more than any “infrastructure” they might lose…

        • Ray,

“So you’re saying Stu is a liar?”

Unknown group. Iran? Maybe, maybe not.

          Nostradamus Quatrain II-15
Shortly before the monarch is slaughtered,
Castor Pollux in the ship, a long-haired star [comet].
Public funds emptied by land and sea,
Pisa, Asti, Ferrara, Turin forbidden lands.

Nostradamus and The Third Age of Mars, The Prophecies of World War III, G. A. Stewart, 2019, Page 821
“Shortly after there will be another blow” “…against the wolf [Italy]” means that the “blow of steel…” “To a very great one, relative of the leech [Palestinians]” will come to Italy.

“And of such deeds one will not see the issue” certainly implies nuclear terrorism by an unknown group.

This will cause “Public funds [to be] emptied by land and sea”. From Sixain XXXIV, we also know that “The Princes of Jerusalem [are] very agreeable” “To committing the heinous and execrable deed”, and “They [Israel] will feel the effects of the bottomless purse.”

        • (“The Persians have given consent to bomb anything we need to, regardless its value as infrastructure.”)

yup..they’ve underestimate how long some states have been preparing for this. They’ve spent decades digging in, decentralizing, and building systems designed to survive strikes.
It’s a classic rope?a?dope strategy — let the stronger opponent burn through resources while you absorb the blows…v what’s it called again…Strategic overextension which is a real risk…..
A powerful state can strike hard, but if the opponent has spent decades building redundancy, decentralizing assets, and preparing for attrition, bombing infrastructure doesn’t guarantee strategic success.
Overconfidence becomes extremely dangerous in situations like this that we are facing…. And When a major power commits too fast and too heavily, while other actors sit on the sidelines waiting for the moment of exhaustion, it starts to look like a poison?pawn trap. That’s exactly the kind of scenario Sun Tzu warned everyone about — overconfidence leading a strong state into a fight the other side has spent decades preparing for.

Bombing infrastructure doesn’t guarantee strategic success when the opponent has built redundancy into everything. And if we’re not careful, we risk walking into another Vietnam style overextension,
with the long?term cost falling on ordinary citizens who had no say in the decisions…And.. targeting our own supply chain..many of the daily needed products are manufactured by the very countries we are insulting and agitating…

        • @LOOB

” That’s exactly the kind of scenario Sun Tzu warned everyone about”

Perhaps you’re looking at the equation from the wrong perspective.

Neither you, nor anyone else, seems to have noticed Messrs Trump & Hegseth are nearly flawlessly-executing Sun Tzu — not one of Master Tzu’s bullet points, but all of them, simultaneously. Go on. Take a step back and examine the entire scene. We are allowing them to defeat themselves, using their own strengths and their narcissistic arrogance against them. If we can get a couple million M-16s into Pahlavi’s hands, it may be completely flawless, as we will have gotten someone else to willingly put boots on the ground, in our stead….

    • I think you clear the ships out of the gulf that are non Iran. That way you avoid collateral damage when the US Israel AND the Arab states (Saudi, Emirates, etc….) pour across the gulf and start the final blow.

You watch the blockade do it’s dirty work of shutting in Irans oil production => electricity generation gets reduced by shut in fuel shortages, the bridges are an issue, but easily targeted at the last minute when you want to restrict enemy movement. Overall color me as : patience using siege warfare, the new fatal blow to Iran. There’s no limits on blockades that I’m aware of. Viewed thru that lens, Iran looks to be trying to goad the US into more bombing… I think Centcom lets Irans production become totally shut in, let the wells fail. UAE produces their previous oil quota that was under OPEC AND they produce Irans lost oil production gap on the global market. Iran is being sent to the corner of irrelevance on the global energy stage. That explains a lot of Irans reactions lately.

      https://apnews.com/article/iran-israel-us-war-oil-strait-hormuz-blockade-a00baaa69fe8ea01c1109582a13ea075

Let the energy sector collapse with the blockade that will soften up IRGC capabilities when the finishing blow is dealt. And the finishing blow could simply be keeping Iran blockaded and getting UAE online with their new production targets, and maintain economic fury. IRGC seem more responsive to their money and their yellow cake being taken away than anything else including kinetics.

    • I see you had the light bulb moment.

Iran is a melting pot. For convenience’ sake I refer to them all as “Persian,” but only the ethnic majority is of Persian ancestry. There are about 95.5 million Persians in the world, about 7 million of whom are refugees or ex-pats. The Iranian elite and ruling class are Muslim Arabs, imported to the region by MI-6 and the CIA, with help from d’Estaing, the then President of France, and the KGB, and installed at the behest of President Carter, to punish the Shah. The Shah committed the ultimate sin in 1978 by nationalizing Iranian oil fields and facilities. ‘Seems Iran was getting a couple cents per barrel, which was okay when postwar oil was a couple dollars per barrel, but which the greedy Shah felt was totally inadequate when oil soared above $26/bbl. The poor, impoverished execs at Total and BP felt they still owned the Persians, which pissed the Shah off. He took their golden goose, which prompted the same agencies that installed him after WW-II to team up with the Soviet Union and it’s KGB to replace him with Khomeini and the Arabs.

We didn’t care that we jerked a UK-style constitutional monarchy out from under the feet of the Iranians and replaced it with a neocommunist, totalitarian theocracy. The important thing was to ensure that, if BP, Total, RDS, and the others couldn’t profit from Iranian oil, then neither could the damn’ Persians.

There’s about 2 million Arab Muslim elites in Iran and about 89 million Persian but civilians. The Arabs have all the guns. If you have read this far, the successful prosecution of this war just became intuitively obvious…

    • Still prefer CGPT (and Grok if they could fix their tangu uniform billing) but ls studio with the liquid ai models is great for spitballing

  9. forget the dud deal maker . we are at the edge of a cliff hanging over about to go . suggested to my great mate in new york it feels like september /october 08 . prices not to be available for many years . maybe a decade or 2 as my mate suggests . absolute fools . so you figure it out

  10. The situation I mentioned some time back with the winter wheat crop may be coming to pass. Due to the mild winter, it’s about a month ahead of normal, and some is starting to head out. A hard freeze is about to hit. Any of the wheat florets caught by it will not develop kernels.

Here is a short local article that somewhat oversimplifies the situation:
    https://www.kwch.com/2026/05/05/western-kansas-farmers-concerned-about-crop-freeze/

I remember this happening before, around 1980-81. Spring wheat up in the Dakotas was not affected, but the total crop was less than half of normal. Those lucky enough to have a harvest got good prices, which were, of course, ultimately passed on to consumers.

  11. I’m overloaded on war talk.
I have an Amazon Fire 10 gen 13 tablet that I have under-utilized. I have decided to make it more useful.

I already have a solid VPN on it, and a decent security app., so that is taken care of.
At some point in time, I had decided I would stick with Amazon store apps. That was a mistake. To call the Silk browser which comes with Fire a dog would be to defame inn?ocent canines.
Using the APKMirror website, I downloaded the DuckDuckGo browser and side loaded it. Runs fine. After looking over other apps to load, the remaining apps from the Amazon store were sufficient. With a good browser. a Fire tablet is useful. Next I will install an SD card.

  12. i am unsure what is going on. maybe its the food or being on the other side of the equator or living on the international date line.

i am becoming something new…. lets uhmm well i ripped the sink off the wall earlier washing my hands. i didnt grab it that hard. or aleast i didnt think so. i ripped the whole sink off the wall.

we just got it fixed. then the Master Engineer tells me get a pipe wrench and go pull these unions off this pipe down below. so i grab a pipe wrench go pull them off and am back to the shop in 5 minutes. i said okay, i pulled those unions off and put them in a bucket next to the pipes.

they are all staring at me bug eyed. then i find out for 3 days they couldnt get them to budge. they used the heated them up with a torch, used a breaker bar and the biggest pipe wrench we have with two men swinging on them and couldnt get them to budge. the chief laughs and says uhmm please dont rip any more sinks off the wall.

the thing is, im 225lbs. i lost 16 lbs since i been on board. i dont know what to think about it.

it started when i broke the handle off a T wrench.

the Captain laughed and said welcome to the crew. we all break stuff on the ship. although i been sailling for 35 years and never once seen anyone rip the sink off the wall.

not sure what to make of it. i mean im strong. i work out. but this is something different. like super human strength. unnatural.

so now im hiding in the propulsion room sweeping and swabbing the deck. because it only took 15 minutes until everyone on the ship knew, i uhh ripped a sink off the wall just washing my hands. lol

    I Win with God Within.

      • idk. i think it has to do with a thing i been doing every day for the last few years. sometimes several times a day.

its a Holy Spirit thing. drawing it in and letting it decide to push out whatever it decides.

i breath in through my nose and think Holy Spirit hold, exhale and think nothig. i give The Holy Spirit full permision to expell whatever it decides to expell from my body.

breath in think Holy Spirit, hold, exhale through my mouth, hold. repeat. sometimes many times a day for a few moments here and there. always before i fall asleep and on more than a few ocasions when i wake up im still doing it. i keep doing it when im asleep. i dont think anything on exhale because The Holy Spirit knows best.

its like replacing the air in a balloon with new better air.

it came to me to start doing it because of these 2 scriptures.

Genisis 2:7 “And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”

        and John 20:22

And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost:

it occured to me, because i have been doing this breathing thing more frequently out here

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

that the experiance may be enhanced because i am out to sea.

The Spirit of God that moved upon the face of the waters, created this world. and im drawing it in to me and expelling whatever it choses.

and the next line in Genisis is, “And God said let there be light and there was light.”

and since i been out to sea, i am becoming supernaturally physically stronger. everything is becoming lighter to in weight.

        I Win with God within.

      • robot submarines are 2.5 nautical miles down at the moment.

so we are definently on the face of the deep.

we were really rocking yesterday. big waves. big rolling waves. i took a video. let me see if i can upload a short one on X.

        oh it worked.

        https://x.com/i/status/2052066417072337401

its about a 30 second video from yesteday that i took. you can see rhe sentry submarine on the deck.

we moved to a new spot. 2 of the submarines are down in the ocean about 2.5 miles deep now.

pretty fun stuff. well i best grab some more coffee and get down to the engine room.

Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. ~

        I Win wirh God within.

  13. i mean i didnt even know they heated up those unions and put the biggest pipe wrench we had with a breaker bar and 2 dudes and they couldnt get it to budge. i just took them right off.

after i made my comment one of my bosses said hey can you bring that valve down there in the engine room to the deck. so i went down there put it in a 50 gallon trash can and hauled it up 3 flights of stair and took it out to the deck.

i went back down stairs he said you ready? i will come down there and help you grab that valve. i said its already up top on the deck. he said what???? i said yeah i put it in a trash can and carried it up there for ya. he said that fuckin valve is 150 to 200 lbs. you didnt use the elevator? i said i carried it up there. you told me to do it so i did. we went out to the deck and that valve ways almost as much as you. i just went to the head to take a piss and was coming back to help you load it onto the elevator.

i said. fuck i didnt know. i didnt think it weighed that much. maybe 50 lbs. he tried to get it out of the trash can and couldnt budge it. so i reached in there and snatched it right out and set it on the deck.

here is the sink i ripped off the wall.

    https://x.com/i/status/2051857142983102598

and the T wrench i broke the handle off.

    https://x.com/i/status/2051859257759576258

im not even remotely as big as i have been in the past.
i took this in the gym when i hit 226 lbs the other day.

    https://x.com/i/status/2051859578372165739

this is weird. i am unnaturally super strong. idk. not sure what is going on.

so im going to go swab decks and hopefully not break any more shit. lol

    • Andy, are you transforming into… “Hercules”?

The Three Stooges Meet Hercules (1962)

Three druggists travel with a Milquetoast inventor, Schuyler, and his girlfriend, Diane, to ancient Greece on a newly invented time machine. There, the evil tyrant, Odius, takes a shine to the woman and has the guys enslaved as galley rowers using the excuse of the three druggists helping a rebel leader, Ulysses, escape. The rigors of the rowing pump Schuyler up into a muscleman with strength comparable to Hercules himself, who is in the employ of Odius. The threesome get the idea of raising money by promoting Schuyler as Hercules for a series of physical contests. Using a combination of his great strength and, a judicious use of a large supply of potent tranquilizers Curly-Joe brought with him, Schuyler is a success. However, this leads to trouble when the real McCoy learns about the imposter.

    feat: no sinko

Today the President of the Ukraine could be found visiting the alleged authoritarian regime in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The esteemed visitor posted a short video clip of his meeting with the King, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa whose 4 wives and 12 children were otherwise engaged.

Nearby as elements of Project Freedom suffered alleged rebuff in dire straits, the Foreign Minister of Iran posted cordial travel blog images with his Chinese counterpart in Beijing. The pair posed for a majestic portrait amidst grand vista perhaps found within the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. Iran’s Minister Araghchi counseled from afar that Project Freedom “…must be vigilant not to be dragged back into a quagmire by ill-wishers…”.

Meanwhile a White House webpage transcript quoted #47’s obliviously shanked driver shot off the tee speech to an assembled sporting group. The President reminisced about his recent golf game with a 90 year old retired South African golf pro whose competitive career dates from the apartheid era. What an opportune moment was missed by #47 to introduce his top compatriot finisher, second place, in the recent 2026 Masters Golf Tournament!

  15. time wars….time travel….seem to be on the menu.

dismissed this as a crazy conspiracist fever dream but I have to admit there are some very weird coincidences. probably still nothing to it but why do I get the feeling that someone is tapping us on the shoulder and saying….look here….is it that time already?

“A novel written more than 130 years ago has fueled renewed conspiracy theories that President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, is actually a time traveler.”

    https://www.msn.com/en-au/news/australia/novel-from-1893-sparks-wild-conspiracy-theory-that-barron-trump-is-a-time-traveler/ar-AA22sWvp

    • The article quotes First Daughter-in-Law podcaster Lara Trump saying she doesn’t wish to “rain on any parades” when discounting claims that Barron Trump is portrayed by the book’s 19th century “Baron” character.

As chance would have it, author Ingersoll Lockwood penned another work in 1910 which he published free of copyright titled “Laconics of Cult – The Cult of the Immortal Man”. The author offers his thoughts about organized religions. This work does not seem to be mentioned on Wikipedia or Archive. The only freely accessible link I can find is a three part audio book version uploaded to Youtube a couple of months ago at the following link:

  16. “Trump-backed Vivek Ramaswamy wins Ohio GOP gubernatorial primary”

Vivek ‘give the diamond back’ Ramaswamy has a look more like Vance’s wife than a legacy American. Perhaps the time traveler who saw America as a mocha tinted country was right!

  17. Almost 50 years after the premiere of the WKRP sitcom, a Cincinnati radio station has acquired the call letters and has rebranded “The Oasis” nostalgic rock music format as “WKRP in Cincinnati.”

The familiar voice of WKRP in Cincinnati star Gary Sandy welcomed listeners to the new WKRP in Cincinnati on the radio at 6 a.m. Monday, as “The Oasis” 1970s rock music stations brought the beloved call letters to the Queen City airwaves for the first time.

“We play essentially the same music that they played on WKRP. It made more sense for us to do this than any other station in town,” says Jeff Ziesmann, who owns the three-station network which beams the new WKRP from northern Kentucky to north of Dayton.

The beginning of the beginning as far as Bees and Egypt are concerned. Featured prominently in several major “legends” surrounding the ancient Gods.

Asar in ancient Egypt, Osiris to rest of word, Enki in legends, and ID’d himself as “the keeper of the DNA” to FFG’s remote viewers.

      Female hierarchy them there Bees..hmmmm
