Pre-Crash Friday, Disappointment in the Wings

Yes.

The stock market “fell out of bed” Thursday, but trust me: it wasn’t all bad.  The market was painfully bloated and over-priced. Use case for financial Ozempic.

The good news – and bad – is that the two after-closing reports weren’t bad.  Although Apple beat in many accounting categories, there’s that little hole in net earnings from a $10-billion fine being paid to the (megalomaniacs) of the Ure-a-pee-in Union.

The Candidates (we’re not happy with either) are playing swing-state shuffle over the weekend and we have the Psychic’s Choir singing a soulful lament about November 3rd.  So really now, what could go wrong?

Let’s do the List

First up is the overall condition of the market. Early today – in the pre-open – there was a 20 point rally in the S&P looming.  Except, that when the day before that index fell 108 points, it doesn’t strike us as that big a bounce.  Neither does the looming 140-point Dow rally when it lost  378 the day before.  Our Aggregate Index, meanwhile, is going off with a stick-shaker and stall-warning that since we crashed through the bottom of significant trends, the way forward is….(seat backs and tray tables in the upright and locked position?)…not too encouraging.

If you really, really squint (and are really, really too cheap to subscribe to Peoplenomics) then it may be discomforting to know the tiny squiggly trend line we are halfway down to is the 85-day moving average in this view:

The use of trend lines is important stuff among the professional (Hamptons-class) money shills.  There are some funds that must make certain investments at the 50, 100, or 200-day moving averages.

And then there’s the little matter of which Wall St, firms were participating in the Thursday beat down in order not to pay HUMONGOUS bonuses for the year.  The actual “lock date” for a few was end of October, but there are others that will be end of November…so it just depends.  (Feel any better about Thursday?)

Where we think it will be interesting – and refer to the table at the right – is when we go back in a couple of months and compare the outcome of financial markets – not only in the U.S. but as a global aggregate as well – and how everyone reacts to the American elections next week.  I’ve made no secret of my belief that Big News generally plays out in financial markets as a “buy the rumor” (then sell the news) OR as a “sell the rumor” (then buy the news).

Just based on the (irrational levels of partisanship) craziness around the country, not to mention this is coming down to a seven-state election among the swing states (we may not even vote), we have to consider the world COULD be shocked next week.

We already can envision a scenario to where not only is the vote not known Tuesday night, but it may not be clear until and entire week (or longer) from now!

And if that comes about, then the real insanity (riotous partisans) might not come until the weekend of the 19th.  That’s because “Veterans Day this year falls on November 11th; however, since November 11th lands on a Saturday, most federal government offices and services will observe the holiday on the previous day, Friday, November 10th. This means many non-essential government services will be closed, and some schools and businesses may also choose to close on Friday in observance of the holiday.”

So I asked my little A.I. pocket pal: IF the election is not clear by close of business next Thursday Friday (I’m thinking counts won’t be done, and certainly not recounts…) would any Supreme Court decision be pushed out to Monday the  11th of November???

AI Lied to me!  Yes, the U.S. Supreme Court will be closed on November 10 because it is closed on federal holidays. The Supreme Court is typically in recess from late June or early July until the first Monday in October, when the new term begins.

When a reader noticed:   No, the federal government is not open on Veterans Day, which is celebrated on November 11. Federal offices, including Federal Student Aid processors and contact centers, will be closed on this day.  (Lesson? Don’t trust AI!)

And if the Just-Us’s take a couple of days to go through paperwork, procedurals (and maybe a hearing on some critical point?) Well, yes that could push the actual naming out to what?  Not sure, but the Psychic Choir has November 19th as a “hot date.”

Our point in here is this is (while highly unlikely) the kind of worst-case nightmare which them, in turn, could be “a little tough on markets…”

Now, we don’t mean to go “all trippy on you” but we know from polls it could be close and both sides are getting pretty good at this law-faring business. And the arbiter of that is the Supreme’s (nods to Barry Gordy on the way by) and so, yeah, could be a piece of work.

The totally useless ponder for the weekend is therefore: “Does the Surpreme Court Work holiday weekends?”

(sheesh…duchy please?)

Jobs Report

Well, that’s close, I guess:

“Total non farm payroll employment was essentially unchanged in October (+12,000), and the unemployment rate was unchanged at 4.1 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Employment continued to trend up in health care and government. Temporary help services lost jobs. Employment declined in manufacturing due to strike activity.”

As always, we will now give you the unvarnished – what’s in the federal database – about the actual total body-count of working peeps in ‘Merica:

Making our Fib du jour that jobs held steady: Any damn fool (or you and I) can see there were 368,000 fewer people working – right there in the BLS database.

ISM Manufacturing and Construction Spending will be along shortly, but seriously? You think anyone is paying attention to any of this with the partisans all planning ahead?

Election Silliness

After the “disappearing laptop” and the “Russia hoax” in 2020, we are really not too surprised to see Slow caught lying: Transcript of Biden’s ‘garbage’ remarks altered by White House: AP.  Such actions are deplorable fo sho, but put it on the list and leave it for Santa.

And for the betting pool: Who do Europeans want to win the 2024 US presidential election?  (The correct answers are a) someone and b) Harris because Europe’s demographics went tango-uniform with the Diaspora…

And can you trust the (left-swayed) media to be honest in anything going on?  Um… Trump sues CBS over Kamala Harris 60 Minutes interview. If America had a Federal Trade Commission and would go after politicians for campaign claims (*lies) and “bait and switching positions once in office” we wouldn’t have these kinds of stories.  Leave that one on the wish-list for Santa, too, then…

War Distractions

(sick of there, let’s hold this for the weekend)

Actual, for-real, News Items

So, how’s all that climate engineering working out for the climate change crowd which is linked to weather manipulation efforts? Spanish residents appeal for help after historic floods left at least 158 dead.

More and more we’re thinking the price of gold could go north of $100K per ounce. (OK, we won’t be poor if that happens…).  But we are asking “What does it mean when US Bitcoin ETFs Amass Over Half of Gold’s Holdings in First Year?”

Smoke this in the “Well, duh!” pipe this weekend:Shakespeare: Why monkeys will never be able to type complete works of playwright, according to new study”  Come on (you dog-faced pony soldiers) are we the the only ones who understand how statistics work???

Need more for the Duh pile? Sleep Apnea May Raise Risk for Dementia.

And if you “need to sleep on that” might we suggest a (high sensitivity) troponin stick? Heart attack triggers sleep increase to aid recovery.   [If you flunked out of med shool, Higher than normal levels of troponin can indicate heart damage, such as from a heart attack, unstable angina, heart failure, or other conditions and the “stick” is how medical staff determines if you lived through Halloween last night…]

ATR: “Dishonest America” Weekend

(ATR= At the Ranch)

The sun was just trying to come up as I was writing this and it occurred to me that one reason America hasn’t  been the same since 1918 is that’s when the Fraud of Daylight Savings Time was adopted.  So, in addition to the usurpation of Constitutionally honest money by the Bankster Coup (Federal Reserve, 1913) we started lying about what time is was just 5-years later.

In fairness to the Fed, their theft of underlying value (convertibility to gold wasn’t ended completely until the Nixon era) so that was at least gradual.  Not so with Daylight Time.

Despite their problems (lately with open borders and politics for AZ) I’d held that Arizona and Hawaii were the only two states where utterly honest people could live.

See, there’s this thing in live called congruence.  If you believe in something, then failure to act (at all times) in concert with your beliefs, leads to a kind of deadening of the soul; sets up a predisposition to a kind of cognitive dissonance you can’t put your finger on.

The old Ure family story here goes back to the early Depression years, when Pappy Ure was riding his Indian from Seattle to Spokane with his brother for pancakes.

Out in the middle of nowhere (hinterlands outside Ephrata, WA) there was a stop sign.  You could see the light of a car’s headlights for 20-miles it was so clear and dark.

At the stop sign, Pappy came to a complete stop, put his foot down and proceeded on.  His brother blew through the stop sign like it wasn’t even there.

Over pancakes at the famous truck stop in Spokane, the brother brought it up.

What the hell, Georgie?  You could see for miles and you still came to a full stop…are you that crazy???”

“No.  A person is either honest ALL the time, or they are not.”

And the deal point in my upbringing is that Honesty isn’t “just when someone’s watching.”

Daylight Time is a lie we tell ourselves because we don’t want to set our own alarm clocks.  Piss-poor excuse and laziness.

But it explains why people run stop signs and lie about what time it it.

  1. Since it appears we have reached the point where the COMEX can no longer short the shit out of gold and silver – these bitcoin groups will be the next to destroy pricing in that market – thanks mostly to Blackrock…..

  2. “envision a scenario … vote”

The cyber exercise/event scheduled for Tuesday could go live impacting voting machines. Bush vs Gore set precedent so…. ‘to maintain legitimacy’ repair of the voting computers must be halted. HDDs destroyed, yada, yada. And that’s the way it is. There will be no run-off.

” but we know from polls ”

Do any of you answer polls? When I get the calls/texts I block the numbers and delete the convos never answering questions.

  3. Cherry Tree Myth | George Washington’s Mount Vernon

The cherry tree myth is one of the oldest and best-known legends about George Washington. In the original story, when Washington was six years old, he received a hatchet as a gift and damaged his father’s cherry tree with it. When his father discovered what George had done, he became angry. Young George bravely said, “I cannot tell a lie…I did cut it with my hatchet.”

    • Speaking of George Washington Trump mentions ending federal income tax and operating .gov on tariffs. The idea is pre-Whiskey Rebellion days. George Washington put us on the path to the system we see today.

  5. Expect Chaos as the demons will not go quietly with a Trump victory, they will then expose the fraud that they hid before when they had ENOUGH cheat to win. But now, when still falling short even with their cheat, they will then deny the election results and turn over that poker table, like sore losers that got caught cheating.
I expect some sort of military maintenance, till new elections can be ran,,, paper ballots , one day election day, counted at precinct level and not at large collection centers where it is easer to cheat the mass of ballots.

Mean while Ure not happy with either,,, one side fails to stop at that Stop sign, on a regular bases. UNIPARTY side.
I have a much brighter outlook,,, after the STORM.

I took the economic fractal warning and did some selling and will watch for new lows next week $DJT stuff, like derby car, stuff goes faster down hill,,, keeps stuff ,,, interesting

  6. My dad shared the same sentiment with yours. There is a similar intersection of 2 county highways controlled by a 4 way stop sign north of here. This place is in the middle of nowhere. You could see for miles in either direction with open pasture land all around. Dad rarely exceeded 45 mph then so he started his approach to the intersection seemingly a mile and a half away before coming to a full stop. As we slowed down I made a comment that the trailer was pretty over loaded and it would take a while to get back up to speed so maybe we could save the momentum. The sign says stop, not stop only if you want to he said. Just as we came to full stop a crotch rocket zoomed by. And then there is always that he said. I can only imagine what that mess would have been like if we had not stopped. I’ve never blown through that place since.

    I miss you Dad.

    Stay safe. 73

    • I never blow a stop sign. I often do “rolling stops” if they’re obviously clear, but I always acknowledge their presence (at 3-5mph.)

I also always coast around corners and brake when still 200yds from an active crossroads.

      Even is summer.

Good practices are not so good, if you get out of practice.

I’ve totaled several cars, driving in winter. None were my fault. I intend to keep it that way.

Inertia is a mofo if you choose to fight it rather than have it work for you.

There was frost on the leaves, last night. Frosty leaves are slicker than some types of ice.

      • At a salvage center ..there was a pair of stop lights.. oh my god the cogs got whirling on that one.. detours everywhere during orange barrel summer days..

I was going to buy them. they were cheap enough.. then pick a corner in the middle of nowhere.. set it up with a sensor so the light changes to stop as they drive up to it..lol lol lol.. never changing to go..how long would they stay stopped..

  7. PreCrash ?

What Chu talkin bout Georgie?..been to the grocery store lately ?
If Ure talking Sugar crash from last nights Sugar Rave, well I can commiserate wit that. Why even the parents in my neighborhood are crashing this AM, no school – and all the blinds were drawn earlier when better half was out walking the hood.

  8. Stop signs in the middle of nowhere. I prefer to live my life by common sense rather than by government decree

  9. About the coming to a stop at a stop sign.

Story has gone around, don’ t know if it’s true but makes sense:
Southwest Airlines when hiring a new pilot candidate would have them come to their offices and told them to park across the street for validated parking.

Those who did NOT wait for the walk light even with no traffic around would be noticed and would NOT be hired. Only those who passed the “Walk – Don’t Walk” test made it to the next level of the interview process.

When flying big airplanes the airlines want everything DONE BY THE BOOK … even if you don’t understand why … and that is an overall MINDSET not a choice.

    • I am reminded of the Asiana airlines 777 that crashed on landing at San Francisco… broke the tail off and littered passengers on the runway.
Three pilots, and a training crew of three more… SIX PILOTS in the cockpit on an ‘automated approach’ and ALL ‘assumed’ the plane would land itself. Boeing blamed the pilots for a ‘lack of safety culture’ that exists among USA pilots.

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sully_Sullenberger

Sully wouldve crossed when he was able to. You see, had he been by the book he would’ve attempted to return to the Airport as ordered by air traffic control, in defense of insode the box thinking, Sully and his apassengers would have ahieved the by the book outcome had he not chosen to glide into the river.

So thanks for that, I know what Airline i’m not flying LOL.

      • The LAST regulation in the book is that the Pilot In Command can break every rule in the book if it is for the safety of his aircraft and passengers.

  10. Not sure what timeline you are looking at as far as Veterans Day. Just switched my calendar over to November and the 11th is actually a Monday.

  11. With all due respect I wasn’t endorsing bitcoin at all or ever – it will be swallowed up by CBDC at an exchange rate determined by the gov’t – $100,000 today a buck tomorrow …

  12. I have a friend who sells real-estate and has a few rent houses. She’s thinking of retiring. Someone trashed one of the houses they were fixing up, painting over new carpets and windows shades, and breaking out windows. the vandals did $3,800 worth of damage.

She said interests rates are high and no one wants to buy. She has had maybe one sale every 10 days, instead of multiple sales a week.

She has been selling off her rentals as she can because renters misuse the houses, don’t even replace filters or light bulbs, and leave huge messes behind when they move.

Her husband has had poor health and she is finding it difficult to get good repairmen who are honest and charge reasonable rates. So as of now she’s keeping a few rentals where people have lived there many years without causing problems and selling off the rest.

She expects interest rates to rise another point.

      • lol lol lol.. Time will tell.. Time will tell. I totally hope my children are right and I am just living in a paranoid that everything I read and hear is fake news…
I get surprised it seems as if everyone still believes that the people have a choice in this election..
we were told there’s no way they will allow Trump to take the control seat again..did everyone assume they were joking?
even if they did..its beyond repair from my perspective.. compounding interest on the debt is now totally upside down. A trillion every three months..even if the government pulled everything back home put everything into paying down the debt and rebuilding the infrastructure.. there’s not enough money coming in to meet the challenge.
the best we can see is a total reset.. a depression that would make the Weimar appear as a vacation joy spot..and that is the best view i see from the bleachers . this totally reminds me of my 37 dollar bunn coffee pot ordeal..my spinster muscle was snapping like a turtle during that ordeal..

      • You know ..except for the parsley.. that’s what I had for breakfast this morning..
I tossed in some tones spaghetti spice… when I scrambled the eggs..I used jimmy deans sausage though not Italian sausage..which reminds me I have to pick some up this afternoon..
I joined her channel.. I can see me loving her cooking..
thanks for the share on that.. we both seem to like some of the same cooking recipes..

    • ‘The Band’. ROFL! Best damn fake video ever. Some MSM TV network should lead the news with it… headline: World Peace breaks out! …or maybe ‘Whirled Peas’.

      • Lol lol..sadly even if they did I wouldn’t see it..the mainstream networks have gotten so bad that I don’t watch them..

      • That sounded like Credence Clearwater Revival to me, Hank. Not sure that The Band ever recorded that one.

  13. There is a reason why political poll numbers seem to lean left, or go democrat.., it’s called a “partisan nonresponse phenomenon”. Republicans are far less likely to respond to a poll request then a Democrat., which fudges the actual results slightly over to the democrat side. Since the year 2000 Republicans have outperformed the poll numbers in every election – with the exception of Mitt Romney [ does he actually count?] That doesn’t mean they won., they just did a lot better then the polling numbers predicted.
    .
Follow the money? – The two biggest betting platforms for the election have Trump winning at 60.6% and the other saying Harris winning the popular vote at 62%. [ Note: “Popular Vote”.]
The former president is currently favored to win five out of the seven 2024 battleground states [ recent polls show the same numbers ]: Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, North Carolina, and Arizona. If that holds true, he will take the Electoral College vote – and possibly, once again, losing the “popular vote”.
    .
“Bernie The Book”., a backroom odds maker in Vegas that I follow has the election broken down into two bets. Currently [ as of 8AM, Vegas Time, this morning] He has Harris winning the popular vote by 3% – but, Trump taking E.C. “It’s a Donald / Hillary rinse and repeat !”
    .
There was an article this morning on MSN on how we may not know the results of the election for a couple of days. Which will cause one hell of a lot ‘turmoil’.

    • (“Republicans are far less likely to respond to a poll request then a Democrat., “)

do they even ask people to respond to a pole?
I don’t know anyone that’s ever been asked on one.

    • “partisan nonresponse phenomenon”

So how long until the pollsters figure out that “no response” probably means Republican and factor that into the numbers?

      • They probably know, but they can’t factor it into their data because, well, it’s supposition or inference, not actual data…

  14. You didn’t get the memo?
    What changed in mid-September?
    – If you pull up the charts on the major currencies they all peaked in mid-September.., from the Yen, Euro, Pound, Canadian / NZ / Australian dollar.., all of them and they have all been on a steady slide down ever since., and the U.S. dollar bottom at this same time period., and has steadily climbed. At the same time the 30year bond, 10, 5 and 2 year notes also reversed course.
The memo? The Federal Reserve cut the interest rate 50 basis points.
So.., yes – “The Fed” does hold sway over the global currencies & economies., international trade and monetary exchange rates. Right, or wrong., the U.S. dollar still dominates.
    – I have been reading about the immediate and emanate demise of the U.S. dollar for several years now – yet every time the The Federal Reserve shakes it’s tail-feathers the entire world reacts.
    – We may not be perfect., but for now – We are still the best looking house on the block

  15. .., and then here we all sit wonderin’ what China will do and more importantly – when? It really doesn’t matter, folks. You are either prepared, at least somewhat, or you haven’t been paying attention. Or like most – just ignoring the memo’s.
China will suffer from the international trade embargo – they know this., and not all countries will abide by a declared embargo either. Then they too, will be targeted for sanctions and trade embargoes. [ ., and around the world we go.]
The U.S. will probably collapse economically and drop us into a depression if China were to impose their own trade embargo against us. [ Chips included.] Seriously hurting their bottom line, yes.., but absolutely destroying ours. I’ll bet that they can live with that.
    – How much ‘unrest’ it will cause in China is a very big question.

  16. The Bulls expect the Dow Industrials, S&P 500, and tech-heavy Nasdaq all to rise by about 7% to 8% through the end of 2025. Goldman Sacs said the S&P will do 3% a year for the next ten years.
The Bears look for the Dow to fall 9% through the end of 2025, the S&P 500 to give up 14%, and the Nasdaq to decline 20%.
32% of Big Money managers say they are neutral about the stock market outlook, and 18% call themselves bears. That leaves 50 percent bullish.
Nearly 66% of poll respondents indicate that they prefer the Republican candidate, former President Donald Trump, over the Democratic nominee, although 47% expect Harris to be the victor. That means 53% think Trump will triumph.

  17. It’s not who votes that matters – it’s who counts the votes that matters. – Unknown
    …, and then there is….,
‘Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.’
Attributed to Joseph Stalin — but no proof he actually said it.

  18. Iran has been mouthing-off of late., regarding their response to Israel’s polite counter-punch. Are they going to attack Israel ? Yes., just not they way you imagine. They are going to attack using all their proxies – all of the terrorist organisations that they fund and support are going to coordinate a large scale group-attack.
    – The only question is: Will Israel let Iran off the hook for such an attack? The world will know it was Iran. And if Iran does attack again., will Israel be “as polite” and skip Iran’s oil production this time around? [ I’ll bet not. ] Multiple days, with thousands of air strikes and Iran left in tatters.
    – IMHO…, Israel is going to make a statement to the world if Iran attacks again. Politics and PsyOp’s be damned !

  19. remember clipton signing law to allow the ownership of media (tv channels) and board, and advertising (constant) controls by drug and vaccine manufacturers and the billion dollar clipton foundation much..eh…

  20. People who religiously come to a complete stop at that sign, never lived in snow country…

Common sense can prevail — it doesn’t HAVE to be induced by a seven hour -15°F wait for a wrecker, but such a wait, especially when you started out with a quarter tank and can’t run your engine/heater, will certainly create some electrical connections between formerly unused synapses.

…And “no.” I never had the wait, because my Daddy, who spent 20 years dealing with the 4-foot snowfalls of upper New York and Connecticut, taught me how to drive in ice & snow. I grew up with kids who DID either have the wait, or who walked home in the -15°F weather, to wait for the wrecker. They offered tangible proof that “common sense” could be learned…

    • Does anyone in snow country allow their tanks to get that low???
I top my tank after each run..we were joking last night better get gas before Wednesday..prices are going to start skyrocketing after Kammy is elected ..

      • Kids do.

I never did, because I remembered all the times my Dad got a phone call at 2am from my bigbro.

I had a lot of friends and acquaintances growing up, who didn’t have a bigbro to teach them (by example and osmosis) how not to conduct their lives.

        Kids always prioritize petrol last…

        • that is so true Ray lol Lol that brought up memories of my daughter growing up.. at the grocery store ..the meat cutters would take all the steaks and roasts out of the coolers and on Monday morning they would package up meat bundles. employees got first shot .. the price of ground round..so I come home and my daughter had a bunch of her friends they cooked up everything we had and took one bite out of each piece..leaving only hot dogs.. so every meal had hot dogs in it..and pickle loaf…
then she would borrow the car she didn’t have a car and worked next to the grocery store..dam my gas bill went up..
I started keeping track and all n between her shift and mine she was racking up miles.. so I just put a dollar in a day..
she just brought up the hot dog and pickle loaf ordeal lol.. when I delivered pizzas.. the rich neighborhoods were the last neighborhoods to get their pizza.. the reason they are rich .. OPM is the business rule..other peoples money lol lol
the first couple weeks I took that neighborhood.. I went to the boss and said I had to put in my notice..why he asked.. I can’t even afford to put gas in the tank.. everyone started to laugh..they had bets on how long it would take before I got smart. there was a reason why they had to bribe people to deliver there.. except if it was a child calling.. the wealthier neighborhoods the kids don’t care one way or another they were above everyone else and was going to flaunt it.. the kids tipped big. drove faster had no respect for their cars or anything.
daddy would buy their way out..
with all the talk about the elite Cabal in California and NYC of the rich and famous.. that’s why ..

  21. The totally useless ponder for the weekend is therefore: “Does the Surpreme Court Work holiday weekends?”

Any more useless than the question: “Does the Supreme Court work AT ALL?” [What is a ‘woman’, anyway?]

Now about that ‘Hawaiian Standard Time’… truth is we don’t have any ‘daylight’ to ‘save’ (nor darkness to squander). You see, in the tropics our sunset times don’t vary for more than a half hour from season to season. This unlike working in my concrete cave in Wisconsin from 8-5 where I never saw the sun for two months.

    • “Does the Surpreme Court Work holiday weekends?”

now that there was some funny stuff…lol lol lol

that’s like asking the question how many politicians does it take to change a light bulb..
congress spent close to a hundred million to have a study done to see if they needed a desk lamp.. first have you seen a yo e in congress sitting at a desk while congress is in session? usually no one shows up ..there’s just a half dozen paper shuffles in the front..
no one stayed in DC to deal with the mountain of issues..
      everything was for votes.
even though some of the issues could potentially have their safety and their families safety involved.
are they that far out of touch with what they are doing? or do they know something more than what we know?
      time will tell..

    • “Does the Supreme Court Work holiday weekends?”

If there are voting challenges which rise to the level of a USSC Emergency Session, the Supreme Court will work 20-hour days if necessary, until the litigation is settled. They won’t like it. I suspect the oldsters will be sorely lacking in patience WRT frivolous lawsuits (hell, even the youngsters may be “impatient” by the time all the shit is shoveled), but they’ll be working, yes, even on Veteran’s Day, if they’re in Emergency Session. There may be a lot of 2-12 page decisions, instead of the 50-pagers they usually put out, but the cases will all get decided.

We need to remember that the Supreme Court is an apolitical/nonpolitical entity.

WE need to remember this, because some of the individuals on the Court seem to sometimes forget…

  22. Without MASSIVE election fraud, I don’t see how this presidential race can be even close. Kommiela has to bus people into her few rallies (and maybe pay them?), but she still can barely fill a small auditorium. And then she damages their ears by being unable to string two sentences together coherently. The die-hards clap, while those who came for the entertainers leave before she opens her mouth.

In the meantime, Trump rallies are so huge that sometimes there are more people outside than inside, and they line up early for a chance to get in. He’s not the greatest speaker, but at least you can understand what he says. And his list of big-name, stellar supporters grows daily. So how could he lose . . . in an honest election?

The polls are all over the place, from one extreme to the other, so at least half of them must be lying.

  23. Israel is not going to make any real number of air attacks without the support of US and British aerial tankers. As such, Iran will rightly judge that those countries are part of the attack on them and would be justified in attacking them or their interests. How many of their agents and sympathizers are in the US now—a bunch? Gray Fox

  24. The kids have a huge pile of oak leaves…
then there’s my mini me having cardboard chaos..
years ago I took care of a gent that made rare antique clock parts.. he used ground peanut shells.. so.. This is an old art.. the ancient Chinese first used it.. then the egyptians…
I have been thinking about the kids my mini me and his little friend… I can’t let them use power tools or anything dangerous.
so I have been giving this a lot of thought..

    https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/544f06e4e4b0f68882774d4f/1534963780637-COCY4WRQPJQUUSJWPERJ/IMG_0443.jpg?format=2500w

    there’s three pieces..

    considering this video..

    https://youtube.com/shorts/zu-aaguB-w0?si=MYjfAo7z5JS7-w4_
    https://youtu.be/jc1ef1_-XcI?si=VfTKzQii4d1ZLvR-

so.. I have been thinking I will get a sheet of foam.. cut out the three pieces for a mold..then make up the silicon corn starch line it ..
as the kids collect the oak leaves I will pulp it.. but instead of making paper..I will make a clay so the kids came fill the molds compress it with a rolling pin.. let it dry and make the chair.. easy peasy… the kids won’t be near anything dangerous and can make that chair..
what do you think..am I nuts ..or do you think it will work..
Shaun sells the chairs for 1300.00 this shouldn’t cost anywhere near that..
and it can be paint able or stain able since instead of paper pulp it will have oak pulp.. cypress would be better but all I have is oak leaves at the kids house..and get them to rake to..

  25. “Believe it or not, as many as 30% of Americans are in a relationship with someone who does not share their political views, suggesting that the “canceling out votes” trend is getting at something larger and more complex under the surface of US life. “I’ll try every day until November 5 to change his mind, but I also know that he’s a stubborn man. The best I can do is cancel out his vote,”

How did your wives vote??? It’s hard to let go.
As you get older you lose your currency and then just fade away. It’s no longer your world.

    • That’s odd…
there are two rules in our house..
      1. the wife is always right
      2. if it appears that the wife could be wrong..the
      an refer to rule 1..
lol lol we are American males where the wife directs us in the proper direction lol lol lol

I am just kidding.. my wife doesn’t allow talking about politics in the house and since I could pee off the pope I am not allowed to talk religion. the kids have a rule..no one discusses a book or subject that will get dad to debate..lol lol
      lol..
the wife has another rule to ten words or less..well we know I am not a ten word person lol..

  26. My wife and I are in full agreement on most things after being married for 55 years. On the way home from a long road trip last week, I began thinking about stopping at Dairy Queen for a chocolate shake. As the exit came into view, she told me to take this exit, as she wants a Blizzard.
