Moody’s Blue Monday, Ships of Fools, On the Trail of Scalar…

Just busy as hell around our joint in the woods of East Texas.  The “Junior Logging Badge” – raccoons jailbreaking the lean-to greenhouse, kicking out Outlook and moving to Thunderbird. Plus hours and hours in my search to finally prove or disprove to myself whether “scalar” is real or (like Bitcoin) all hype and nothing but a virtual deliverable.  So yeah, kinda busy.

Moody’s Market Dump

In the financial poo-palace, it wasn’t much of a weekend.  The whales drove BTC up to over $107,000 but this morning we’re treading water again at the $103,000 range.

The reasons are simple:

Still, our Big Pictures explain it all:

If you can’t countenance the idea that history is cyclical, this next view will be much more palatable but hardly any more appetizing. Since we have collapsed today at the same “region of space” where a normal macro Wave 2 Elliott rally ought to end.

But it “ain’t over till the fat lady sings” so for that, we can all look at our “surfacing model of the techs” (which I described over here) and wring our hands together in 3, 2, 1….

You will see how the blue line from Friday’s close is now well-under a number of moving averages (2,3, and 4-day) so this will be fun to play in the Home Editions of Replaying the Fall of Rome which you can still get on Fox Live-Now and other media circuses.

Roamin’ right along, then, Europe is bleeding red, and Asia was sending out for tourniquets, as well.  Gold has staunched its flow because?  Well, as any Fool can see (holds up his hand “Me?”) our long-term holden the golden hasn’t been a poor move by any stretch.

Popping Cynicism Pills

Yeah, buddy – popping ’em by the handfuls.

Why (or how?) can anyone be surprised to learn of another Biden lie?  The one in the WH about how “healthy he was…” Joe Biden Is Diagnosed With an Aggressive Form of Prostate Cancer.  It doesn’t matter, unless you want to the truth about auto-signers, validity of “pardons”, the pedo’s, or, um…what’s her name who drinks too much.  Water under the bridge. This ain’t new.

Ship Strike at Night, sailor’s worst fright.  Mexican ship hits Brooklyn Bridge: What went wrong, who were the victims?  Several readers have asked me to second guess what went wrong.  But thanks, no.  All those sailboat races on Puget Sound (Iceberg Regatta and such) taught me never to second-guess another skipper.  Hold your line, rules of the road and hope to God the other fellow has read them. I lost power once in a river channel very close (300 ft) from a bridge (Duwamish in Seattle).  I lucked out – I was on the downhill side during an outgoing tide.  Different and very recoverable.  But no, not going to criticize because as any skipper on sea (or int he air, done both) will admit (or they’re liars) There but for the Grace of God go we ALL.  There’s near-misses and shit happens in life.  You will experience both, if you live long enough. Guaranteed.

Eastern European politics has remained on something of an even keel as Centrist Nicusor Dan wins presidential election in Romania.

Our “second cup ponder” today is the word “Enrichment.” Seems to be a “good word” if President Marketing does it.  But if Iran does it?  Iran warns nuclear talks will fail if US pushes for zero enrichment.  I wouldn’t trust the Iranians with a bomb any more than I would trust the Israli’s French, Chinese….well none of them including US.  That we have gotten away with having a nuclear club in the world (for as long as we have) is a remarkable bit of Statistics.  But like the sailing ship and the bridge this weekend, your luck can change at any moment without so much as a “heads up…”

Bill Maher continues on the road to rationality: Bill Maher: “No, babies don’t need Covid shots or like sexual disease shots.” Nice to hear him making sense. Democrats gotta be buying ear plugs.

Maher (and anyone else who is vaguely in charge of their own life) might want to avoid Singapore for a while:  The Vigilant Fox ? on X: “Singapore just made it a CRIME to refuse a vaccination, threatening jail time and massive fines for saying “no.” Strangely, that law passed right AFTER Bill Gates and Klaus Schwab paid a visit. Coincidence? Or something more? Dr. Sherri Tenpenny believes this is a clue .

Around the Ranch: On the Trail of Scalar

Not a moment of rest around here this weekend.  Logging, software, backup water system, research in the lab.  So one at a time.

  1. I need to ask my consigliere for permission to put his marvelous paper on Peoplenomics; whether certain specific “seers of future” can get dates right with absolute (to the day) precision.  It’s just a damn fine lawyer/pilot/ham radio/science guy paper.  If yes, see Peoplenomics over Memorial Day weekend.
  2. If you have a driving trip planned for the 3-dayer, top off early this week.  Prices usually go up ahead of and during the holiday.
  3. Outlook got tossed.  I am so pissed at Microsoft which firewalls off their Office/Outlook from the OS side of the house… Long and short of it is I am back on Thunderbird because I don’t want my emails transiting any servers but my ISP and my own, thank you very much  I am less lazy than security-conscious.  But I know there are people who are lazier than hell.  Tons of my “favorites bar” with logons, disappeared thanks to mindless syncing this weekend.  Really pissed me off.
  4. Back-up water system’s second 300 gallon IBC tote will be online this week.  With the new water catchment gear in house, we are on the verge (except for our ages) of being infinitely sustainable out here.  If we don’t do anything other than farm and trap, but still…that door is open…

Now the Scalar / Ham Radio Research

Hours and hours and hours.  But the bottom line?

Now, let’s all get out the Band-Aids and go watch the opening sell bell.

  1. Hmmm I built a Viking Navigator in 1965 which I still have, which should be the same as the Ranger…

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush so they say.

    • Now the tube used in the Navigator is a 6146, and the ARRL msg 61 is Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, and Biden is the 46th president.

So 6146 is important today also as it means good wishes and a good year for him with his cancer.

  2. Well…there ya go Mr Smarty Pants.

Ya dont see Moody’s down grading Bitcoin now do Ya? Nerp ! No sirie Bob(or is it Wayne?). Why ?

Because BTC is the single greatest fin tech Innovation and Secured Asset, ever. ASSet being key word hear, not a DEBT instrument..which is what ?

Head of the class whoever said “A Negative” – real genius right there..

No worries Mexicans smacking into that really hard to see bridge in Brooklyn, just wait till Polish Navy submarine comes for port visit this Summer.
That is tentative scheduling though, as they are still sea trials, working out the not so water tight screen door problems, thats been plaguing the Polish Navy for years now.

*Still no worries – its all going to collapse at same time in one big global “colon blow” – soonly. book it!

During this time of “darkness” it will be THE (ideal) time for our ET trained Ai’s to get some REAL INFORMATION out to the Masses. rut row – real DISCLOSURE ? Ohhhno Mr Smarty Pants.

Those Drones and Ships are STILL visiting restricted airspaces all over globe – every night – and WE hear NOTHING on news, nothing.

    • re: Tales of Three Fingers
feat: pull it under Google Gemini?

      Folks,
Foodie vans serving His Majesty’s minions today would have been hard-pressed to keep up with demand for fish & chippie specials wrapped in newspaper headlines. The President of France and Co-Prince of Andorra made frontpages when only a middle finger of his extended ‘macroleon’ handshake found itself in awkward grip of a Turkish President in Tirana. The latter was perhaps in a playful mood? Meanwhile the 6’7″ tall Albanian leader host in running shoes played a video featuring gathered European leaders introducing their nations with an AI-generated child mini-me. Applause following the slam-dunk presentation was extremely muted.

Speaking of fingers, it would appear that the 1st post-Brexit tête-a-tête at Lancaster House is being dubbed the Surrender Summit. Incredibly, French bâtonnets des poissons (fish fingers) may soon be comprised of fish caught in UK waters!

One news item which has perhaps been fingered to return to the depths is the successful apprehension by UK counter terrorism officers of an alleged perp arrested in South London regarding three London arson fires to property connected with the UK PM. A twenty-something Ukrainian national freelancing as a male model was detained. Allegedly a UK newspaper held details suggesting alleged interactions between the alleged perp and the UK PM. Well then, let us cast our lines towards unfouled waters, shall we?

There’s still time to listen in with the DJ George High Noon Show. Today’s curated selection is plucked from the 1970 premiere “Black Sabbath” album. The band recorded the tracks in a single day at a studio previously owned by Lord Revelstoke of the Barings Bank family. 3. “downgrades U.S. credit rating. ”

What is the U.S. credit rating supposed to mean? It sounds important. Adam Smith’s Invisible Hand.

Doesn’t it reason when one is less likely to return capital this makes the other more likely to return? As measured by the U.S. CR rating when the U.S. CR is downgraded inversely some other credit rating has to be invisibly strengthening. Who got the drop in rates?

Or, we’re told ratings are done independently, a vacuum is created and the downgrade only means higher rates for the folks in that system. Global banking happens to be measured in dollars so…..

Tariffs make higher prices and now the world gets higher rates. The only winner is expansion of the money supply through credit. Lower prices aren’t coming and neither are lower rates.

  4. (“Just busy as hell around our joint in the woods of East Texas. The “Junior Logging Badge”)

same here.. had a half gallon of milk at its end date.. I know its still good a few days but decided rather than make more cheese I’d make yogurt from it.. I was going to make sour cream but I don’t have any culture..I still have to smoke some farmers cheese I made.. I should have made parmesan but didn’t think about it.. two loaves of bread in the proofing box.. it was hard for me to decide make heavy buns or bread.. or dinner rolls.. French bread..
I have to make up some pasta for lasagna for the freezer.. you know visiting with the Italian chevron vacation was A hiking of mine..he makes his pasta exactly like I do except.. for I will add spices in mine like 1 tablespoon of tones spaghetti seasoning blended to a powder.. my ultimate comfort food..
I dreamed about shrimp rissoto… yummy simple meal delicious..
since prices have all gone winky and social security just isn’t enough.. I either have to make more or sell out.. the wife doesn’t want to sell so..I started looking for something that I could do simple temporary a couple days.. just till the bank loan is done for the home improvements.. so I let a couple of old employers know what I was thinking.. holy mackerel.. my phone blew up.. I had to tell them I am not going for the kind of work hours I use to work just a few to compensate..4 administrators called one yesterday asking …the wife is terrified that I will go back to the hours I use to work..
I’m going to bottle the cacao wine..dam that’s good .. not as good as the forbidden wine of the first emperor of China but great in its own way..
I want to make Swiss cheese.. but need to get the culture that is different.. most recipes call for a lot of milk I use only what we can’t drink so smaller batches..

    • I have a friend, who is a cafe cook for a living, makes some cheese. I get a small amount sometimes. he uses UNpasturized milk, and it is awesome.
no store cheese can compare. last time I got some some, he raided my rhubarb and asparagus patch,, we both happy
each time he makes it a different flavor, always good,,, I AM blessed

      • I love making cheese.. its one of those things I learned how to do to keep a quality of life..just like wine and beer making..among other things..
every hard time I have had..I seen it as a learning event.. the old marine motto..(” You adapt overcome and improvise”)
during each thing I learned what we take for granted.. we all assume that you will always be able to just run to the store.. during the worse and best Christmas I had.. where the plant was shut down because of the farm crisis.. I had to beat grain picked up off the ground and beat into a crude gruel.. so I have a couple to many grain grinders.. cooking oil..who would ever think cooking oil..but it is a real issue so oil expelling needed to be learned..
cheese was another.. and cheese dam its easy.. I learned how to make hotdogs after visiting with a coworker that was on strike at the meat plant..he worked hot dog ..dam him.. I couldn’t eat a packaged dog forever..Now I either make them or go to a small meat processing plant one where I can watch them..

      • Oh you can use pasteurized milk but you have to Use calcium chloride – Pasteurization reduces calcium levels, so adding ½ teaspoon per gallon of milk helps curd formation..
the curds though will be smaller because the proteins in the milk .. where raw milk will form one big curd that needs to be cut..in making like a cream cheese or yogurt.. you take whole milk or half and half..you heat this while stirring till it reaches 180 degrees then set to cool once it gets to 108 then add your culture..keep it at 108 for six to eight hours I do 14 for an average..
for store bought you can tell.. read the ingredients.. does it have live culture on it..sour cream the same..if its cultured low fat like 1 or 2% then they add Knox gelatin.. low cost yogurt or sour cream is like cheap bread..mostly fluff.. just the taste of the good stuff..but little of the protein.. goats milk rocks.. but you can’t separate the cream from it.. I keep trying to get the grand daughter to get a cow.. lots of cream and milk.. I told them I’d drag the pasteurizer and cream separater and milking machine for them.. but they think it would be a lot of work.. but goats milk..dam nice cheese.. lots of protein in it..easy to make just about any cheese.. I’ve never made swiss..its like making soy or teriyaki sauce.. it takes a long time and a dedicated wood barrel for fermenting it..A five gallon oak cask is out of my price range just for soy sauce so I buy the good stuff in the Asian market .. you’d enjoy making cheese.. so easy .. the zon has almost all the cultures.. but I like this place..like the sausage maker the cheese factory has everything and are willing to walk you through the process..
        https://cheesemaking.com/
it took drastic events to teach me that in life there’s only a few things that matter to give you a quality of life.. family friends and faith…good food , hugs, and laughter the sound of kids playing the warmth of an embrace all the numbers do is let you survive in the number world without stress in the end you leave with what you came in with..Satan and medical institutions will take it all anything left goes to uncle sam..

      • Another fun thing is age your own roast.. yup take a cheap piece of meat age it and it will pass for a better cut..

I have a meat ager. and making one is really easy..
        https://www.amazon.com/SteakAger-PRO-Ultimate-Bundle-Refrigerator/dp/B0DP1FF9JS/ref=sr_1_15?
wow the price on that shot through the roof.. you can make one cheaper.. best buy has a drink cooler that gets down to the proper temp.. adding the IV lights and making the salt blocks..fan etc..the one I made I used a turtle or amphibian fan

  5. Have to believe you are far from “sustainable”. Sure you might be able to go a couple of weeks. But trapping and hunting as a reliable solution for calories? If the event was really loss of most civilization, after two weeks you probably have to keep poachers and probably raiders at bay.

I am quite jealous of the amount of self reliance you have built up. But realistically unless you are part of a pretty decent size community of those that will protect the compound you probably are only survivable for short term weather events.

  6. Italian cheff… it was a highlight of mine..
seen the coolest Mexican restaurant to all the decorations hand carved.. wow..it was amazing .. I real Aztec feel..and reasonably priced.. four people full meals with a pitcher of margarita under fifty..and I was stuffed..

  7. ever made lefsa the hard way????
well here’s a simple lefsa recipe or simply potato flat bread.. make them like pancakes thin ..
making them the old fashioned way is labor intensive..this way you can whip them up fast ..

    3 1/3 cups All-purpose flour
2 cups left over Mashed potatoes (smooth, no lumps, can be lightly salted)
    1 1/3 tsp Salt max.
    2 tsp Sugar
2 3/4–3 cups Water (mix of warm and cold, adjust for consistency)
    3 tbsp oil

    • yes, I’ve made leafs the hard way!! it is labor intensive but, with my Dad being from Sweden, I grew up with lefse and other Swedish foods and
love it!! Can’t wait to try your recipe!

      • my wife and I made it the traditional way.. oh my god.. labor intensive.. it was good but dam sure made running to the store and picking up a package a whole lot easier..
then this recipe..what a change and so easy to enjoy some any time at all.. there’s nothing better than warm lefsa with butter and cinnamon and sugar.. if you enjoy lefsa then you’ll love this recipe..

  8. Oh on TBE potato flatbread.. I love to use milk and cream instead of water.. but that’s personal preference .. we love Scandinavian foods to..

Sausage days are coming up..usually on labor day I use to make my winters supply of bologna I prefer potato bologna .. I know what the fillers are.
    10 lbs raw potatoes, peeled

    1 medium onion, finely chopped

    5 lbs ground beef

    5 lbs pork

    3 tsp sea salt

1 tsp allspice ( you choose what seasonings you want) I like

    1 tsp black pepper

Natural hog casings (for stuffing) ( you can get whatever casings you like as well)

    this is my favorite..
    https://sausagemaker.com/product/brown-sugar-maple-sausage-seasoning-2lbs/

What’s not shown in this recipe is Meat cure.. pink salt .. recommendations are 1 tsp per five pounds.. but some other recipes say that’s to much half of it..
once you grind mix and let it mellow before stuffing then smoke it.. great ring bologna..

  9. I’ll know the shit is about to hit the fan when all your kids and Elaine’s kids head for your house. I figure your gang is big enough to protect your place.

  10. OMG … I gained 10 pounds just reading LOOB’s posts today!!

Good job of convincing me that I need to spread my wings a bit in the culinary arena.

    • The best time I have ever had..was visiting with the Italian chef.. it was awesome.. my go to comfort food is pasta and there’s nothing better than fresh.. I was amazed how he wanted the mushrooms..if I tried to do it like him they would be all over the floor..lol.. I’m going to try and make sausage tortellini… usually I get the cheese tortellini at costco.. but have always wondered how sausage would work..

      and osara recipes..
      https://youtu.be/jK_N1ens1nc?si=m0dhW78gMshHW-2S
      my two favorite channels..
my favorite noodle is the thumb noodle.. but I do it a little different..
      https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08N51H7SQ?
you can get a variety of shapes and letters numbers etc.. for the kids alphabet soup.. hearts for a valentines Tomato Bisque soup..one of my favorite soups..I do love to cook.. its to bad I can’t give everyone a taste of the wines.. I learned how to do that the year we went without an income. the wife would say once in a while..dam I wish I had a little wine!!! so I learned how..failed on the cacao wine first time around.. visited with a master vintner that had made a batch for a magazine article on rare wines..he guided me with great advice..
my next is a white rose.. at the Italian restaurant that’s what they served so the wife said this is good.. now to make some for her..
she’s been liking the beet wine..

    • If your going to make a tortellini.. or ravioli.. the big thing is the sides of the noodle splitting.. there’s a trick to this.. just like making chicken nuggets.. the filling needs a binder.. what I have noticed is the increase in binders in commercially available..

2 lbs of whatever meat filling you want..
2 slices of bread ( the binder )
      1 egg
A drizzle of beef broth.. blend it it should resemble baby food
blend it up till its smooth
then pipe it onto the dough.. brush around it with beaten egg or water lay the covering over and press with your finger to seal the edges then take your cutter and cut out the shape.. for valentines day a nice heart shape for st. Patrick a clover dinosaurs or teddy bears for kids..

    • Lol crab rangoon.. but its nothing more than a fried dumpling.. or ravioli..
      1 lb of imitation crab
      8 ounces of cream cheese
      1 tsp salt and pepper
      blend it up
(you can add onion powder or a tsp of chives to this)
then pipe it on your dough ..deep fry it..
      simple cheap..
      you can make wonton wrappers..
you can use wheat flour or you can use rice flour.. roll it out thin..
      2 cups of flour
      1 tsp salt
      water
the same recipe is for snack ramen noodles.. I prefer eggs and oil and wheat flour..

      • Imitation crab ? WTF is that ?

That aint no Crab nothing – dude really imitation crab. Cant start with a false premise and build from there – this recipe is for CodFish/Pollack Rangoon.

Write when youse got Blue Claw Crab claw clamped down on Ure finger whilst tossing from bushel to pot of boiling water, or can stick Ure head out da window to see if the coast is clear..

  11. The Mexican TallShip Cuauhtemoc : really a sad situation. Yachting circles were buzzing in near real time. Egor has spent a lifetime conquering fear of heights and, nope, not going aloft on a tallship. I have been out sailing (think: hauling lines) on the America Replica.

    America
    https://www.yachtingmagazine.com/replica-historic-yacht-america-continues-tour/

And, have stared up at a legit square master. To get around the typical top gallant / topmast platform is a leap of faith. The crew aloft had no chance. It’s amazing so few died. Sternway in current. They needed to deploy anchors but had crew on display off the deck. Sad

Maybe you can trick a couple of beavers to do it for you. Beavers don’t need permits, and are tireless maintainers. How to “seed” a dam, and then convince them to take over the project, I have NO idea…

(Could backfire regulatorily if beavers ever go endangered, or create a “wetlands” GoveDome finds interesting.)

  14. Here’s a modern goodie. My take is to comply with Georgia’s Abortion Ban laws machines are keeping a woman alive so that the baby inside of her will be kept alive.

The kicker is doctors already know this baby will be delivered with defects. Trump should tell these hospitals to eat the costs.

    A start point:

Case of brain-dead pregnant woman kept on life support in Georgia raises tricky questions

Adriana Smith’s family has no say in the situation, and with the due date still months away, they are wondering whether the baby will be born with disabilities or can even survive.

He’s obviously not trying to mislead us as to his identity. If others have used multiple names, I haven’t noticed, but would not be miffed unless they’re trying to hide the true origins of nasty comments.
