Markets Set to Bounce, Terrorism Hits Home, Aging Priorities

First thing out of the hopper – for these last two working days of the week – is that markets are set to bounce. But we’re not out of the woods, yet.

Earlier, the Dow futures were pointing up 200 points and the Techs up 170, S&P up 35,

But in our Aggregate view of things, we’re still deep in the technical mud.  Let’s first consider the overall view of U.S. markets using our Aggregate pricing approach.  Which is based on having a sum of money in 1999, and then allocating equal amounts to tech, the broader S&P, and the Dow.  As a discerning eye may see, we have come down to an important trend line – going slightly below it – and now are set to rally to the underside of trend.  This is typically where the “final vote on near future” takes place.

Now, the problem with the market “coming back up to the lower trend” (previously “support” but now looking more like [overhead] “resistance” is that there is some confusion due to “hot market theory.”

HMT (which I just made up, BTW) holds that just because the “Aggregate” may be “kissing the trend” it doesn’t mean all expectations of resuming the downward slope will have been met, even with a good-sized rally today.

The reason becomes clear when we isolate out the Techs.  Of course, they have been on a rip since early (now) last year.  But even drawing in the suggested (by the Futures) rally today, we can see how an extension of the rally into Friday could be in the wings.

Squint if you need to, but that could be more than a one-day “wonder rally.”

The problem?  We don’t expect the power shenanigans to be solved in Washington, but we’re thinking along the lines of “hope springs Eternal” going into the weekend.  Which could logically be followed with “Hope fails Infernal” come Monday and the next leg down in markets would be set to resume.

Further supporting this view has been the strength in BTC which was over $96,000 when we checked first thing today.  Given it’s fall from grace, very much “singing harmony” with our Aggregate index, it looks like crypto may do a little “bottom kissing” (Of  the TREND channel, perv!) before resuming its corrective ways.

Of course, none of this should be taking as “financial advice” any more than a “nip of the dog” will cure a hangover.  It just all makes for a Good Story. Shysters and con-men are powered by deceit, so as long as you don’t question off-topic assumptions, you’re still fodder in their sights.

Off-Topic Assumptions? Like?

Yes,, there is an off-topic view that holds something much more serious and nefarious is going on.

In case you haven’t heard, The Disclosure Project has it’s big archive of UFO/UAP data online now at dpiarchive.com. You will have to share an email and set up a password, to get in, but in return there is a treassure-trove of items the Mainstream Media has been muzzled from ‘going deep on.’

So much, in fact, that a view of the world comprised of a “break-away military industrial pharma” cabal is itching for nuclear and biowar because a) that’s where the money is and also because b) they get to maintain power and virtual control of the planet.  We can call that “Faction 1.”

Opposing, then, “Faction 2” would be the OpenSource It All people.  Who we can generalize as tending to believe that after 143 alien craft retrievals and 70-years of fraud on We the People (tax chattel) that we are owed a huge ROI.  The pressure here is for a rising standard of living, freer (or dramatically less expensive) energy, and the release of tech like anti-gravitics.  That would blow up buisiness models all over the place, though.

The “Thinking Person’s” problem is this comes down to each side having a piece of the Truth.  Faction 1 was mainly, initially driven by where the dollars and the tech pointed.  The Phillip Corso book, “Day After Roswell” was a major milestone on how some (just a tiny bit) of the tech was leaked.  There’s an argument that “slow-rolled release” of the Nu-Tech could be orderly.

That is, until the management structure of Faction 1 wrapped into an addiction to power, which likely has a great deal to do with the benchant of neocons/neolibs to promote nuclear confrontation.  Because in that kind of world, the Security State controls everything/. No questions asked. Like “Wait, the Patriot Act was all just in a drawer waiting for 9/11?”  (Of course not, but you’re not supposed to be lifting the curtain the whole way.)

Faction 2 has a strong case – because they might have a better sense of history. And addictions to Power and Control can out-distance even “traditional motivators” like sexual escapades, all taped and used as black mail by Faction 1, which is one the intel community does out of the limelight.

Until there is total and complete Disclosure, we will never really know the truth behind the Kennedy assassination and 9/11 plus a host of other still classified events.  Maybe it’s child-like to hold onto such dreams, but we consider it worth mentioning there’s like a bigger context to Life than most people are aware of.

Yet as Dr.. Steven Greer has been pointing out lately, the abductions, the cattle mutilations,  and a great deal (though probably not all ) of the UFO/UAP sightings have been made by our own government and others around the world. A refresher on how long this has all been in play may be found in Report from Iron Mountain (On the accessibility and desirability of Peace) which came out back during the Vietnam War.  Another boondoggle and why Kissinger is still revered escapes me just now.

Back on track, then? Show of Hands?

Terror Comes Home

Horrible holiday event in New Orleans.  But it tells us a great deal about how editors can “stack the news” to an agenda.  Take, for example, Who was Shamsud-Din Jabbar, the New Orleans truck attack suspect? | Crime News | Al Jazeera.  The sub-head on their story was “The suspect in the car-ramming attack in New Orleans has been identified as a US military veteran from Texas.”  A little more evenly (after all, an ISIS flag was reportedly found in the vehicle) Army Veteran Responsible For New Orleans Attack—What to Know | TIME.  Was trhe flag planted? Was the perp drugged or doing free will? See how deep this can all go with questions down the rabbit hole?

But again, given the overarching Bigger Picture, is this just another skirmish to polarize America even more?

Seems like low-to-intermediate terror was being “run for effect” Wednesday as we reviewed Tesla Cybertruck at Trump hotel stuffed with firework mortars, gas cannisters along with 10 people hurt after gunshots were fired toward crowd at NYC nightclub.  Did it all have some discernible effect? Hmm.

Rules: Bend or Ignore

The Market rally today (and maybe tomorrow) will have an assumption of “normal processes” continuing to run America.  (Power and money, right?)

To do this, sometimes the existing rules won’t work.  So?  House Republicans unveil new rules, one which makes it harder to oust speaker. But, it still might happen.  All comes down to how momentary ethics and positions on issues are with the pseudo-leaders we put in office.

Need an example? Chip Roy May Decide Mike Johnson’s Fate. Why, sounds like Rep. Roy has all the backbone of a jellyfish, but one willing to swim where the votes are.  Which really isn’t too surprising given that we have tended recently to elect real estate developers and lawyers (not too many doctors and engineers) to the Oval. China’s CCP is heavier on engineers.  See it?

We are all going to watch this train scroll by on television in the next few days. While awaiting a derailment.

Around the Ranch: Aging Priorities

Medical schools aren’t paying enough attention to the devastating effects of GANTT charts and Just-In-Time (JIT) supply chains on the life and DNA of old geezers like us.  That’s because several of my Grand Designs and Plans – built on GANTTS and JITs – managed to blow up on me this weekend.

  • The Prime Rib didn’t happen until Wednesday afternoon.  It was sunny here (and warm) so working outside in front of the shop assembling a new tool chest – I lost track of time.  By the “time” I noticed the lateness of the hour, the primerib  wouldn’t have been ready until 8 PM. Fault: Me. Don’t eat right bexfore bed, though.
  • The Straight Key Night fell apart as a knock-on effect.  With prime gone, it was into the kitchen to find alternatives.  But SKN was already a bust:
    • The antenna I was going to put up turned out to have a blown trap assembly.  Which (oh boy!) adds one more thing to the massive To-Do list.  Fault: eBay seller for not disclosing, me for failing to allow enough pad time in schedule.
    • The new “radio cart” which Amazon had been showing as arriving Tuesday still hasn’t shown up.  It’s due today, but now I can pad for another couple of days… Won’t have time to call my East Bay buddy Mike and explain, but he’s understanding about scheduling trainwrecks.

At the 80,000-foot level, Retirement is supposed to be Golden Years.  Don’t believe it; it’s PR bullshit.

The Reality is the Fun Things in Life all take incalculable amounts of time.

1.too great to be calculated or estimated.
“an archive of incalculable value”

Having (again) faced The Clock and lost, I’m in something of a fugue today because the Important and the Fun have been waging a 70-year battle before me and the Important always seems to win.  Elaine – having lived to a different time-base in her life – regularly skips the important to favor more fun.

A neighbor couple will be over for drinks and to catch up on neighborhood gouge this weekend. Mr. Do List made sure to order in Mexican Coca Cola for the visitor’s Jack and Coke. Not wanting to poison guests with corn syrup.  (There’s one for Kennedy’s list, BTW.)  Our Lady of Fun wants to chat about cats and isn’t fixed on timing of arrival and other “small deets.”

This weekend is a biggy for us:  It will be our 25th year together after meeting at the Seattle Singles Sailing Club in 2000. We still miss the boat.  Moorage bills, haulouts, pumping out the holding tank? Not so much.

Mystery Solved?

Buddy who is a good engineer proposed an explanation for the odd photos on the surveillance system here that showed up Wednesday.

He explained the frequency response of the web cams is likely much greater than the PowerShot.  “The web cams use a different (wider spectrum) CCD,” he explained.  “This is done to give them good night vision response.  But, the Canon is for optical in normal range only and so the sensor response could be driving it.”

Seems plausible. Something to chew on at breakfast.

Since I started writing this morning, the Dow has added on another 93 points.  At this rate, they should pay me to write all day.

Now, go over to that new blue tool chest and hand me the back tuit from the second drawer, would you?

Write when you get rich,

What chu doing diving down Hearing loss rabbit holes? No dude you ought to be reviewing Rogans’ recent interview wit Paul Stamets.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8ELCqEq0tg&pp=ygUWam9lIHJvZ2FuIHBhdWwgc3RhbWV0cw%3D%3D

In it Stamets discusses the exciting news regarding Psilocybe Cubenis in vivo and the amazing and quick onset of benefits for Dementia/Alz sufferers. Dude the stuff is being trialed as I type – Mental Plasticity is de outcome..woot woot get some fresh Cow poop & spores pronto quick like..
Stamets group is also involved w/ UC sandiego medical(among others) wit Schroom trial combination with MRNA vaxx. The myceliums involved are from Turkey Tail and Agarikon. Results are miraculous – down regulating the inflamation causing vaxx components (no adverse effects frm vaxx) and upregulated the 2 critical benedicail bacterias in gut biome. Healthy & Charged up Immune system always delivers more Antibodies when challenged/vaxxed.

  2. I was a Company man, like my Father. Like my Grandfather.
Need someone to work holidays and weekends watching the mainframes? I was there. Travel to plants having network issues? Had a packed bag in my office. No real life. Had a few wives, no children. In retrospect I guess they didn’t like sharing me with the Company. Then disaster struck, it was a woman, of course. 2015.
In 2017 at 56 years old I walked out the door never looked back. Liquidated everything, hotrod cars, motorcycles, boat. My house was built in 1871 and on the register. Cashed out all equities. Paid the taxes upfront and filled a duffle bag with dead presidents.
Married that woman and bought 12 acres on top of a mountain in the Saint Francis-Ozark national forest. Electricity is the only utility we have. Off grid, well water, no cell service. And the love of a good woman.

      • (“Ah, but the RIGHT woman – nothing compares!@”)

        Amen on that..Amen
I don’t care as much for a bag if dead presidents than the more obvious pleasure..

      • I was honored to be married to one of the Best women in the world for forty-two years, Kathy. She passed away from a suddden and very severe stroke. After a bit over a year, I was honored to marry her best friend, Eda, and my business partner, the other Best woman on Earth. Eda passed in August of 2023 of a savage and fast cancer. They were deeply Great People, and were also good lookers. Such is The Key to a happy life.

Although one is usually enough: if it is one of the Right Ones. Both of them were. My chips are off the table now — the chances of a trifecta being pretty low these days. I have been supremely lucky.

I am glad neither one fo them will have to endure What Is Coming.

        • I got a question the other day about why I spend time reading and responding on George’s website. Honestly, it is because of readers like you and several others here.

I can claim no originality for what follows as I took it from a post on another website. I did however, modify it a bit to explain my presence here.

I have been asked that as well.. I am a sociable one..I will talk your ear off. but I am not a social one i will be the last one you would ever see in a bar or club…. ( saddly one of my grandkids is like that.. a construction engineer flips houses and builds them but spends his time at home..

I for one look forward to your regular comments. They are like a second George posting on the site with their varied content (filled with information I didn’t realize I didn’t even know) and great observations.

Thank you for taking the time to visit

    • You and I live in the same land. That’s one of the best places on Earth. It’s even better with a good woman.

  3. (“there is a treassure-trove of items the Mainstream Media has been muzzled from ‘going deep on.’”)

Now I have heard quite a few of the stories from someone that would know..
I actually thought they were coming out with it all years ago..
many other countries have disclosed what they know to their people..the nagging question I have is …DO WE WANT TO KNOW?
WHAT IF THEY ARE WORSE THAN MANKIND?
    mankind is violent by nature..
WHAT IF THEY ARE MORE VIOLENT THAN HUMAN?

isn’t it funny that thousands of years ago what ruthless violence towards each other we would be involved in today could so accurately be predicted!

I can tell you I’m more afraid of what our species is doing towards each other… in the name of peace mind you…than I am of an alien race that’s been traveling millions of light years away to get here..
then there’s the watchers.. and the black knight satellite…have we been under observation all this time? are they keeping an eye on our behaviors because the nepholem taught us more than we should have known…and that’s why they knew they would have to come in and redirect humanity..
    lots if what if’s there..

  4. “flag planted?”

Can the modern car be commandeered by remote control?

    Dead men tell no tales.

The Tesla terrorism perp in Vegas also died. We hear fire is a brutal way to die but the Vegas perp sat in fire.

“The sole person inside the vehicle died, and seven people suffered minor injuries, Sheriff Kevin McMahill of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.”

    According to Yahoo:

“Both the Tesla Cybertruck that exploded and the New Orleans attack vehicle were rented using the Turo app”

    Back to Bourbon St.

“Officials said they did not believe the suspect who rammed into New Year’s revelers was “solely responsible” for the attack.”

Perhaps a digital ID could somehow prevent the ‘terror’ and connect the members of the group Digital IDs would help the (sometimes we believe them sometimes we don’t) FBI to keep us safe.

    • Muk said that the telemetry of the Tesla pickup truck in Las Vegas showed it was not the truck’s fault for the fire.

      “Telemetry?”

      Tesla vehicles got “telemetry?”

      Why do Teslas got “telemetry?”

      What Kind of “telemetry?”

(…or am I just being all suspicious and paranoid over nothing?)

      • Lots of new rides come with telemetry to get a last known location in event of theivery or where to gps to repo send crepo when the payments stop…

        • Ist thing Little Big Al (Lee) did with his EcoBoost Mustang was take out the computer and pull out the SIM Card.
Said he didn’t like FMC having that much info about him.

      • Since OBD-II came online in the mid-1990s, ALL cars have telemetry. Vehicles made before about 2009 require an “assist” for real-time bidirectional comms (hence the little box Progressive, Allstate, State Farm, and a couple others try to convince you that you should want to plug into your OBD-II socket.)

Drop in on Ross-Tech (https://www.ross-tech.com) and see if Uwe still has screen caps of the stuff his gizmo reads/adjusts. Uwe’s toy is for Volkswagen, Audi (and maybe Porsche) only, but it will give the layman an idea of which parts of their car snoop on them. (Hint: All of them. I could not believe Uwe’s VAG-COM could read and adjust struts, both for damping rate and ride height! Have an accident? The height, rate, and degree of compression are recorded for all four corners. Were you adjusting the radio, heater, lights, or anything else? That’s recorded, too, along with GPS course, speed, and position. The insurance dongle instantly uploads the packet if the car crashes, tracks it if it’s stolen, and can be used to remotely kill the engine. These systems would be present on steroids, in any Tesla…

    • There’s too much about that Vegas “bomb” in the Cyber Truck that just doesn’t pass the smell test.

Every article about that incident claims that the driver was “Special Forces” ie. Green Beret. If he really was, he would have been able to put together a much better bomb than a bunch of fireworks and “fuel canisters” ie. 1 lb propane cylinders for camp stoves.

      • Hear Ya go OO, some splainin..
        -https://www.theinteldrop.org/2025/01/02/russia-says-cybertruck-bomber-cia-jewish-and-tied-to-ukrainian-intelligence-and-general-dynamics-tid-believes-he-is-german-american/

    • “but the Vegas perp sat in fire.”

They got me. Capturing this moment the perp was dead from a gunshot to the head. He didn’t sit in fire until death.

    • (“Can the modern car be commandeered by remote control?”)

      Mythbusters did that…

  5. SKN. Oh, Lord. It’s obvious some of them haven’t touched a straight key for a while. I just listened. Some still had their old fist though. Fun for all.

    • re: “Fahrenheit 451”
feat: land of the rising sun

      Folks,
The “Daily Mail” has published publicly released details from the Las Vegas PD. While the alleged bomber’s unrecognizable remains were awaiting dna testing for identification, images were presented of his id . A military id document and a passport were shown slightly singed from the truck fire but were otherwise legible. An image of an arm tattoo was shown which could seem to convey a “biohazard 0” message. The “Biohazard 0” Japanese game series appears in the North American market under a series title of “Resident Evil”. The plot apparently involves special forces pursuing a pharmaceutical entity of evil intent.

According to the Tesla website, Tesla Truck self-driving software version FSD12.5 began rollout last June.

  6. My aggregate – “Carnac The Magnificent” – has lost just over four percent since the MACD crossed-over on Dec 10th. The markets reversed their up-swing this morning and all indexes are down nicely. “Carnac” is down close to 0.6%. ., and has broken below it’s 42 DMA and the up-trend line. MACD is still pointing down.
Not quite sure what triggered the reversal.
No technicals seem to be involved – it just appears that the big boys are looking for any excuse to sell and take some profits off the table.
National mortgage rate hit 6.91% – according to Fannie May. [ 6.96 % in some markets] Can’t imagine a near 7% interest on a home loan. …, damn ! Living in a van down by the river – is looking good. However., if you are serious about buying a home you should do it soonly – as the rate is going to steadily climb [ if I have it figured correctly ]. Wait a minute !! – That was financial advice., wasn’t it !? I hereby officially retract the previous ‘suggestion’.

    • Allow me to explain: This is God bringing the level of my put options (end of March) up in order to retest my resolve on this trade.
When it’s confirmed to His great satisfaction that I am far too greedy, then a rally will follow. With me no doublt still owning my puts.

      • Pssst, hey Buddy..

Got a breaking breakout story for Ya.

VAALCO is on the move today and seems to be breaking out and UP! Offshore Africa driller – Drill Baby Drill! Fav momo’s are back at it: RGTI, INOQ today, and add SERV to the list.

Speculation on my part, so of course I am going hard and large. 2024 was profitable year, intend to make MOAR in 25, while still alive..

    • My first home mortgage was 9.05%. At that time I tried (unsuccessfully) to assume the 5.5% mortgage held by the PO. My banker assured me there was no possible way they (PO’s bank) would allow that to happen: “We will never see a mortgage rate below 6% again…”

I saw mortgage rates go above 14% fixed.

We don’t really have it bad (yet.) We’ve just been spoiled.

      • I never made enough to qualify for the first time home buyer. and a medical bill past that would choke a horse.. the only way I could get a house..was by one banker that I had known forever. he knew about our being tossed under the wheels..the best he could do was a bubble loan 18 percent interest to build the house.
even now I am still haunted by the boss I had in the early 80s that played stocks and precious metals..
what I learned is every time you think what your dealing with is more than what you can deal with..there’s someone dealing with so much worse . one look at the Gaza strip and I want to cry for those innocent people that have been killed or suffering because of greed .

      • You got that right, Ray. When I got out of the Army, I got a VA loan ‘guarantee certificate’ at 7%. The VA had no money to loan at the time, but I was told “All you have to do is find a lender and give them the certificate”. So I went to the savings & loan co…. biggest in my home town… and talked to the loan officer. He all but laughed in my face. “Why should we give you a loan at 7% when the prevailing commercial rate is now 10%?”. So my first home loan was at 10%. So much for the worthless ‘VA guarantees’. This was in the early 70s.

    • How is Carnac calculated or is that classified above top secret? I would love to see how it compares to the aggregate index. Thanks.

      • “Carnac” is an aggregate index – of multiple other indexes. Much like ‘Ure’.., however, we do seem to have a slight difference in what we incorporate into our aggregates., as our overall numbers do not match –
It should be noted that I built my aggregate index based on an article I read many years ago., where the writer mentioned “a guy” out west that built an aggregate index.
I thought that was a brilliant idea – and built one. Turns out ‘that guy’ was Ure’s truly – though at that time I had never heard of him.

  7. Hells bells. I can’t find my ’round tuit’ and now Ure telling me I also need a ‘back tuit’?? I think I’m doomed… ‘nothing tuit’.

    feat: Pardon ?

    Folks,
This past Monday as the vacationing First Family perhaps built castles in the sand at Saint Croix, the US Guantanamo Bay base was releasing a detainee who had been resident since Day 1 of the extrajudicial camp commencement in 2002. Tunisian citizen and alleged Taliban fighter of al-Qaeda, Ridah Bin Saleh Al Yazidi, was delivered into Tunisian custody.

The Guantanamo base was birthplace of the late musician Isaac Guillory. One of his daughters went on to star as a special forces heroine in the movie “Resident Evil: Apocalypse” (2004).

  10. re: “Aging Priorities”
    feat: Jan. 20, 2021

    Folks,
“X” user “Gain of Fauci” notes a video was uploaded out of date sequence to the White House ‘YouTube ‘ channel 10 hours ago with a theme of “The Time To …”. It portrays a masked-up era from Jan. 20, 2021. It is injected between Jan. 2nd videos about President Biden’s remarks on New Orleans, and welcoming members of The Quad (Australia, Japan and India) to his high school, Archmere Academy.

The Archmere Academy was established on the estate of the late Mr. John J. Rascob who did the books for DuPont and GM as well as being chair of the DNC from 1928 to 1932. He apparently published a stock investment advice tome “Everybody Ought to be Rich” around August 1929. After democrat Al Smith lost the 1928 election to President Hoover, it seems Mr. Rascob sold his GM stock and partnered with Mr. Smith to build the Empire State Building. If that all wasn’t enough to keep a person busy, Mr. Rascob was also the Treasurer of the Knights of Malta whose roots trace to the Knights Hospitaller founded in 1099 and enjoying Papal recognition since 1113. It seems the 81st Prince and Grand Master of the Knights of Malta is a Canadian of Scottish ancestry, John T. Dunlop, appointed by Pope Francis in 2023. One is led to believe that President Biden will have a Papal audience soon and exchange detail on the state of the world’s affairs.

Interestingly Mr. Rascob had another home besides Archmere situated on a 1600 acre estate now subdivided to 45 acres according to “Wikipedia” called Pioneer Point in Maryland. The Soviet government purchased it in 1972 although the Obama Administration restricted its diplomatic immunity uses 8 years ago.

  11. Hmmmm. Pioneer Point brings to mind the director water mishap plot twist in Jason Matthew’s fictional novel trilogy. A coinkydoink of the universe has a grandson of the real world similar outcome event at Rock Point being nominated as Under Secretary of Defense for Policy by President-elect Trump.

  12. Wishing everybody a belated HAPPY NEW YEARS!!

And a call out to George & Elaine (and all married couples) a wonderful upcoming year together!

May 2025 be a year of Peace, Health, and Prosperity for all of my internet acquaintences here and for all people around the world.
