Life Extension has a hard limit defined by personal income over time. Wife Elaine nailed it at breakfast Monday when she said “You can’t have one without the Other.” Life extension mainly costs money and investments usually cost time.
Today, we’ll look at this balancing problem. And begin to draw an odd kind of outlook in a Financial demography sense.
While the mental/spiritual aspects of extended lives is touted everywhere from Biblical passages to modern religious groups, the underlying fiscal support gets lesser play. Comes down to “How long can you afford to Live?” With the secondary question “How much time can you buy?”
Some frame working of both on tap today, after a look at markets for the week (so far) and our latest dart toss at the FOMC whose announcement is (as of press time) about five-hours distant.

” Life extension mainly costs money and investments usually cost time.”
She did nail it on the noggin.. You cannot have one without the other.. the same with weight management.. the vast majority of those working labor wage earners..
Wage earners don’t make enough to have an adequate diet.. those at the very bottom on food stamps.. for an adult they give what is it four dollars a day and for kids seven… sure it sounds like a lot.. but the cost of a proper diet is much higher.. so lower income people eat bulk foods.. with ton’s of preservatives..
when mom and dad moved in.. dad was the one to only buy beans and oatmeal hot dogs were cheap so that is what they ate.. hot dogs ham and beans oatmeal.. to this day there isn’t any ham in the freezer.. the only hot dogs and brats in the freezer are those for me alone.. I love to make home made brat’s and hot dogs sausages etc.. but I rarely make any.. the sausage stuffer and mixer sits idle..
Anyway Mom always loved fresh veggies.. and garlic.. so I would pick up fresh veggies just for her.. the cost difference.. was twelve hundred a month.. dads oatmeal.. how much can a bowl of oatmeal cost.. he wanted what he loved but never got because of the cost.. his oatmeal was almost five hundred a month.. yes for a one bowl of oatmeal a day for breakfast.. we had to cut back on the things they wanted but never had when they had a house full of children..
I have to sneak beans in.. I do get it though.. my father use to bring home cookies.. and yup.. I get nauseous when I look at the package.. had one to many cookies of that kind when I was little.. I do buy them though and they sit in the snack rack.. but I won’t eat any..
the same with savings.. to gain in wealth you don’t spend money.. you save money.. sacrifice.. and for those at the wage earner levels.. it is even harder because you are dependent on social programs to offset the income .. people spend like crazy during tax return time.. because there are things they need but couldn’t get.. bonuses go to only the execs..
so.. do you eat mystery mush or a proper diet.. big question..
Bratwurst… boil them in beer. At this point they can be frozen to keep. But after the beer boil, put them on the charcoal grill for finishing. Serve on whole grain or wheat hot dog buns (Good luck finding them, but they’re out there.) with mustard and cold sauerkraut. Pardon me… my German is showing.
Hi Hank, we were in HNL for feb this year and a loaf of bread at ABC was $10 Total trip over $12k
Actually Johnsonville markets those buns — ‘course you’d probably have to be in Wisconsin or at a Meijer to buy them…
yes mustard and onions.. yumm.. and yup they are out there.. I love fresh baked..
“Tough one for the Fed today: Raise rates and kill inflation or drop rates and save banks? That’s the gist of stories like Fed Caught Between Inflation and Bank Crisis.”
Heard someone on the news yesterday saying that they were opening the spigots to bail out all the banks no matter how much it took…..
SO… thirty nine million dollar loaves of bread is closer than ever.. and ten thousand dollar happy meals.. no toy toy is extra… seriously what do you expect for ten grand LOL LOL LOL
https://schiffgold.com/commentaries/federal-reserve-launches-qe-extra-lite-to-bail-out-banks/
did I ever mention the noodle theory.. put a puddle of water on a table and you can push a cooked noodle across it floating on top of the water.. that is the velocity of money.. dry that water up and the cooked noodle gets pulled apart while moving it.. and the noodle falls apart… NOW put to much water on the table to keep the noodle moving and the noodle made of flour gets mushy.. ever had overcooked noodles.. sheesh.. they fall apart.. same thing..
the pyramid system.. is you have a top.. the top is held up by the strength of the bottom.. but if you pile to much on the top and take away the pieces of the jinga.. I mean pyramid.. the tower will fall over..
https://youtu.be/ykc9LvUEuWE
considering that tower as the economy.. the guy wires as the wage earners holding the towers up.. if you cut the guy wires or you don’t have enough guy wires.. the tower with the chocolate egg will either tip to one side or the other.. or if the weight of the egg is to heavy for the guy wires to hold the tower will either start to fold in the middle someplace as the tower weakens it will fall pulling the guy wires away…
the same way with pyramid construction..
https://youtu.be/d2muzkhHLgM
you have to have a strong base.. good fluid movements.. so far the guy wires have been cut and the egg size increasing.. hmm.. kind of like pushing a noodle
The Fed announcement is due in <10 min., watch the Treasury bond market. Bonds led the Fed up and are indicating it's time for a reversal (based on the 3mo, 6mo and TNX).

Derivitives
There are oodles of dollars of derivities being supported by each dollar of the REAL economy (which I personal define as the goods and REAL services economy … stripping out finance, insurance, entertainment, etc.)
How much BUBBLE is there above the REAL economy and supported by the REAL economy? Some say there is somewhere around $632 Tillion in derivities (worldwide) … which I think that is LOW but other estimates put it above a quadrillion – which is 1000 trillion – which actually sounds more reasonable, so let’s go with that number for this exercise.
The roral US GDP which includes all that stuff I think needs to be STRIPPED OUT in order to get down to the size of the REAL economy is $25.5 trillion … but in reality 1/2+ of that is the AIR of the stuff that is NOT real, so let’s call it $10 trillion, though it could easily be lower, say $8 trillion. Large but definitely NOT $25 Trillion.
$10 trillion in the real economy supporting $600 trillion in derivities (estimating that US dollar denominated stuff is 60% of that batch of paper) means that EACH dollar of the REAL economy supports $60 dollars of SPECULATION!!
AND in reality it could be EACH dollar of the REAL economy supporting $100 of SPECULATION!! (which actually sounds about right to me)
Talk about an UPSIDE DOWN pyramid.
Pull a few pieces out of the REAL economy … and voila the shakey upside down pyramid above it risks crashing down in a near uncontrollable fashion … which is why the regulators are so worried and scrabling so hard over the various SMALL banks and the one large bank. Lose control of the situation and they will have economic chaos everywhere as all that leverage starts unwinding faster than a hydrogen nuclear explosion takes off. (takes about 20 seconds for hydrogen bomb to reach maximum power, unlike a nuclear bomb those hydrogen ones don’t go bang all at once).
This is YOUR WORLD … Welcome to it!!
OH … and don’t forget that simultaneously with the financial chaos exploding around us the Neocons /Neolibs are doing everything they can to get a new World War ginned up.
My Uncle Donald was a very cool and classy guy. Very poised, never off-balance, soft spoken, and polite. Always well-dressed. He gently taught us nephews and nieces the finer points of what we once called etiquette, or common wealthy-guy table manners. (Stuff like no elbows on the table, or always pass the pepper AND salt together as a pair… Old-timey, small, nearly elegant British stuff.) My parents — who I’ve developed much respect for now in my later years — were shanty Irish and second generation German, neither noted for being very “Classy;” but Good People. (Wrong side of the tracks — literally.) (It was in the 1950s,)
Uncle Donald was wealthy — but not crazy hyper wealthy (or my life would be very different) — just nicely slightly wealthy. He was a partner in a New York City “white shoe” law firm.
Uncle Donald got me started in electronics through the extravagant Christmas gift of an American Flyer electric train set with plenty of extra track and switches. Learning how to control and wire this stuff was my entry point. I can still smell melting hook-up wire insulation in my memory.
If he had lived, he was going to put me through a Snooty Connecticut Private School (several candidates), and make me a properly-brought up gentle member of the upper-crust, like himself.
But he died.
He was kinda frail and sickly. He was old, and the extended collection of ass-hole, crude, annoying, loud-mouth, unrefined, white-belt, jerk-wad, parasite distant relatives had been gathering in anticipation of a Big Payday for many months, when the old coot finally shot through.
When they read the will some salivating weeks later, they were… …very disappointed. Very. Maybe extremely, because they had all been practicing for the Most Obsequious Jerk Suck-Up Award for that year — and they got bupkis.
I thought it was wonderful, proper, Just, and funny all at once.
“Way to go, Uncle Donald.. Way to Go.)
He lived as a rich man till the very day he died — he shot through, break-even. Put simply, he took it with him. He didn’t owe anybody anything, and he left no money bin.
I’ve always admired that from several angles. And I’ll always be grateful for all the things he taught us.

Great story! it’s hard to know what kind of impact you have on people. I had a Latin teacher in high school. She also taught honors English. I couldn’t spell well enough for honors English and I was a terrible Latin student. But she taught me how to write a term paper, note cards and references and all, just like her honors students did it. Without that knowledge I never would have been successful in college. I am forever grateful to her.
” it’s hard to know what kind of impact you have on people. I had a Latin teacher in high school. She also taught honors English. I couldn’t spell well enough for honors English and I was a terrible Latin student.”
AMEN…
I was and still have issues with dyslexia.. I quick look and everything looks foreign .. ( like my little mini me.. as an exercise from his teacher he wrote the wife and I a letter as a writing activity yesterday… it was suppose to be read during our snuggle time LOL)
I had an old country one room school house teacher that noticed my problem and would have me come in Saturdays so she could work with me.. bringing books alive.. tom sawyer and a first edition of the wizard of oz were my gifts from her.. ( still got them on my shelf by my chair when my mini me catches on they are going to be his.. we read a chapter out of a book every day.. ) She was my guiding light..
Charles Givens was one of the “financial and investing gurus” of the 1970s and ’80s. He had a traveling seminar and circus show which showed up every 4-6 months, and at which one would be fed tons of common sense generic financial information, and an opportunity to buy home and onsite study courses (to learn the “good stuff.”)
I attended two of these 3-hour sales pitches — actually DID come away with a couple gems, one of which is:
“If you live your life right, the last check you ever write will bounce.”
I went to one of Givens seminars.. in the eighties.. they had it at the Holiday Inn…
in the sixties.. I went to another seminar.. “Dead men do tell Tails” that had me so interested as a kid.. the archeologist giving the lecture went all over the country showing slides and telling the story of how the tomb was found .. When my older grandkids were little they had a tour of the tomb that I took them to see.. and one of the declaration of independence where they had a ( probably a copy ) display. then I told them family stories that was passed down to me from my realitives..what is in the books is not what was shared in the family stories LOL LOL…
I spoke with givens and the archeologist after their presentation. both seemed interested that someone my age at the time would be showing interest in what they were talking about..
The other thing I took away from Givens, that I can think of off the top of my head, is:
Never buy a new car. Buy one that’s 2+ years old and let someone else pay the depreciation for you.
I violated that only once — to buy my (2002) VW Jetta in 2001. My cost was $20,730. Purchase price @ 1 year old was 20,200, @ 2yo was 19,900, @ 3yo was 19,200, @ 4yo was 18,200, and @ 5yo was 17,500.
The only other vehicle that was close was the Jeep Wrangler, and it dropped off after 3 years. There was no other car sold in the U.S. (except possibly for rich niche markets, which I didn’t research) that didn’t drop 45% in resale price for year-3, including the much-vaunted for resale value Hondas and Toyotas — every model, any trim. Most dropped 55-65% and the Kia cars dropped 80%.
I had the 2yo (1999) Kia Sonata flagged as a best buy, because (this is before I learned about Ford’s influence on them) their build was very good, their engineering was sound, steering / handling / brakes were fantastic (32.2ft turning circle, IIRC), and in 2001, you could buy a 1999 Sonata for less than $3000. (By 2004, Kia had been discovered, and that ’99 Sonata had appreciated to where you could buy one for ~$6000…)
North American diesel sucks, for quality. This is why Mercedes and VW stopped selling diesel cars in the U.S. and Canadian markets. By 1995 Volkswagen had found a way for their oil burners to meet EPA regs and burn American sludge, so for M/Y 1996 they brought diesel cars back to North America, but they only sold 5000 diesel Golf’s, Jettas, and Passats, combined, per year, thus creating a “low-volume, high-demand vehicle” and the crazy market from which I purchased my car…
Opinions abound, don’t they? It doesn’t really matter all that much what the Federal Reserve does today. If you have been watching, paying attention and preparing on the side.., what they do., or don’t do., won’t plant your garden., or get you another tank of propane. Have another cup of tea.., chill and move on down the road.
The banks need about $18,000,000,000 to backstop all deposits. Who wants to eat peas?
The total market capitalization of the U.S. stock market was $40,511,838.8 million (December 31st, 2022).
Generally the pension plans have been being bailed so that leaves the 401K crowd to be picked clean.
The $18,000,000,000 will come from stock market ‘equity’. What else is there?
$18,000,000,000 S/B $18,000,000,000,000.00.
Fiscally, it depends what phase of life you’re extending. If it’s just keeping you perpetually a senior citizen then it doesn’t pan out. But if you extend the 30-50 year old range then folks can just keep working.
Maybe something like a maximum SS payout of 15 years. Maybe a cap of payments of something like 1.5x what was stolen from you during your youth. It almost isn’t fair, you win in having a long life, and then expect your fellow citizens to keep subsidizing your long life. Of course I believe SS is not moral anyway to steal from one citizen to give to another while assuming those payments will buy votes to keep the takers in power.
Getting close to collecting my self.NEITHER of my parents live to collect one payment.I paid in my whole life.Who the F am i stealing from. Both my parents worked and paid in.Not 1 cent for them.Buried my mom on her 65th Bday.My family history is bleak. But my wife is younger and will go on mine when i pass.Mine is much more and her family has great genetics, most living well into their 90s.She will also have a good chunk of my pension for life.Maybe me and mine will be a bad investment for SS and my pension fund. Both my parents got 0 for a lifetime of paying in.Who got their money?

Actually I believe that all of us here knew this a few weeks ago already.. when the whole middle east got together and after we flipped our nose at the Saudi’s.. and they joined in.. to dump the dollar, pound and Euro ..
even on some of the shopping sites I go to I am seeing that being displayed as methods of purchase.. my curiosity is how long before they refuse any unbacked currency.. My guess is that they will devalue the three major currencies.. lets go a hundred for one.. you can buy it at this for the Juan.. but if you want to use the dollar bill the pound or Euro.. it will be a hundred for every juan.. or they may go smaller.. ten to one.. then build it as they collect all the dollars pounds and euro’s..
what it will do is.. escalate everything.. the object of the game is to be on top.. JB and NATO going into Ukraine shoved all the smaller countries on the verge of bankruptcy.. used up their strategic reserves and put the world on track to destruction..I believe that by thumbing their nose at China and Russia’s last attempt at a peace resolution just sunk the nail..

Hey Loob, got anything in the ole recipe book for tequila ? Inquiring minds ya know..err make that druken ex-pats. Got access to agave moth larve – so mezcal works too..Thx
Yes I do…Before we get started. It is illegal to distill spirits at home. This guide is meant as a hypothetical walk-through. On how its done.. although..you can brew it up as a agave wine..it won’t have the punch that tequila has..but will taste like tequila..
5.5 Gallons of Water
12 Cups of Blue Agave Nectar
2 Pounds of Raw Cane Sugar
Professional Tequila Active Dry Yeast
Fermentation Bucket Kit
Brew Pot
Heat Source
Thermometer
Long Spoon
Heat water to 125 °F.
Stir in Raw Cane Sugar and Agave Nectar and stir with a long spoon until completely dissolved. (you may have to stir for a while to get your agave nectar to fully dissolve)
Once the Agave Nectar and Cane Sugar are fully dissolved pour in 1 gallon of cold water to bring the temperature of the wash down.
Check temperature and stir wash for 30 seconds every 5 minutes till the wash clears and sugar is totally dissolved.. ( now I would take a fruit bag ad toss in a chopped up lemon and tea bag) once at room temperature put you yeast on top and close up the carboy and fermentation lock..
or a quarter cup of citric acid..after a couple of weeks it will stop fermenting.. then you siphon off the top leave the yeast cake at the bottom.. into a new carboy..if you’re planning on a tequila wine..put your sodium bio sulphate in to kill any yeast left. let this sit for a couple more weeks then use a clarifier bottle it in a couple weeks.. if your going to distill it..then you take the wash put in your still.. the first shot glass is toss away.. another glass is drinkable but gives it the bitter flavor.. the rest is the tequila..
Based on one sentence here today:
When a I read a news article I often find small red flags within the article. A sentence / statement that sets me off into another direction then the article is presenting.
Case-in-Point: A 2006 Cessna Turbo T182 Skylane has been missing for two weeks, here in Washington, despite a massive air and ground search. Radar shows the plane made a very steep descent towards the ground minutes after take off and disappear off of radar. The area of descent and possible crash site covers only 37 sq miles., yet no sign of the plane has been discovered. Everyone is very distraught and profound sadness abounds. However.,
Here is the sentence that flipped the narrative for me:
“He left behind his phone, work laptop, and flight bag and did not tell anyone he was going, or where he was going.” ., and “.., that is not like him.”
To me, that screams – I don’t want to be found !
As an investigator into the crash., if I heard a family member say that, I would immediately order a forensic deep-dive into the pilot’s financials [ how is his job/business doing].,? and personal background. [ Any of his close friends gone missing lately ?]
If that behavior is – “., not like him.” Then we have a whole new dark-alley that needs a very bright light to be shined into it.
Many., many news articles have these small red-flags., sometimes it is a sentence, like that above, sometimes it is a single word that just seems out of place.., if you start looking for them., every once in a while one will pop-up., and the more you become accustom to an intel-dissection looking for those ‘red-flags’, the more you will find. [ Three Days of The Condor, comes to mind – good, interesting book., so-so movie.]
Of course, it could also be that the small plane went in sideways smashed into a ravine and a tree it clipped going in fell onto the plane effectively hiding it, stuffed into the small ravine. You look there., and I’ll take look down that dark alley.
“Based on one sentence here today:
When a I read a news article I often find small red flags within the article.”
you read like I do..lol lol lol.. I willread a
age or a chapter..then research the things that pop up my interest..
I would assume the same thing..what about the black box..Don’t they come with a locator.. A few years ago my toddler pre-schooll grandson logged on to a friends cloud..how he did it I don’t have a clue.. what I had though was access to everything .. tracking his whereabouts on his cell phone his cars.. his phone camera.. ever seen the inside of a pocket ..lol..
so if he dropped totally off the grid.. someplace the plane will show up..
its a lot harder to assume an identity today..years ago a guy I worked with had someone assume his identity..messed his life up big time..
It is very rare for a small, private plane to have a “black box”. ., and why I instantly went off-track with the “missing plane”., was he left his cell phone and laptop at home.., the two items that could track him and the plane.
It is not all that hard to disappear.., there are some hard and fast rules you must obey, or the game is up.., follow them and you can easily live a quite, remote, easy life.., but you will forever be looking over your shoulder and very cautious of every one.., but it is doable.
I wasn’t sure how they do it with airplanes.. I am not sure when they started putting them in the cars.. I know my car has one and the wifes car has one.. and so do most of the other cars that are around but the beast doesn’t have one that I know of.. I guess I assumed that they would do the same thing with planes for insurance purposes..
LOOB, they started putting “black boxes” in cars with the rollout of OBD-II, in about 1996. The transportation regs didn’t specify when vehicles were to be “boxed,” only that every motor vehicle sold in the U.S. or Canada had to have one by the 2009 model year.
I would guess he treetopped it and flew it out to sea. Ditched the plane (or maybe had a pair of Wipaire pontoons fitted and simply landed it). Then hopped the boat his confederate got him (the same confederate who’ll cut that half-mil airplane up and part it out* — might not even be someone who knows him), gave his GF a kiss and lined out for Baja or Hawaii.
* $350k airplane worth $500k if parted out…
______
“its a lot harder to assume an identity today.”
No it isn’t — It’s just a lot more expensive…
Regarding “black boxes” in automobiles:
The automobile version (at least) records the last 15 or 30 minutes of sensor data such as speed, pedal use, seat-belt usage (or not!), ‘systems operations’ or some such (according to my owner’s manual) and possibly how the steering wheel is pointing the car. It will be of no use if the car can’t be found.
The airplane version appears to be similar, because I’ve seen news reports asserting that ‘once the ‘black box’ has been recovered, it will be analyzed to get clues about the crash’.
I think there’s been some confusion of ‘black boxes’ with transponders and the like. Those have been used to help substantially in keeping track of airplanes’ locations and vectors.
There *might* be cars out there with something similar, which would be touted as either anti-theft devices (actually after-theft-recovery) and/or useful for emergency help. That it makes your car trackable in real time would be carefully kept off the radar (heh!).
that is interesting.. I thought that it gave position on the planet as well.. sort of like ONSTAR..
The MV “black box” has both atomic clock sync and bidirectional GPS built in. They can track things y’all wouldn’t believe (for instance, Audi tracks the ride height and instantaneous load of each shock absorber and logs any knob or button that’s being manipulated — Chrysler/Dodge vehicles log things like seat rake).
Progressive Insurance’s “Snapshot” is a dongle which plugs into an OBD-II port and reads speed, direction, precise GPS location, TPS and ABS signals, etc, and phones home in real time. Allstate, State Farm, and several other insurance companies have the dongles too, but Progressive was FTM. Those dongles aren’t magic — they merely read the data the “black box” is already collecting, and make it available to the insurer…
LOOB, Onstar uses the car’s GPS data now, although when GM first came out with it, it used cell tower triangulation. Triangulation can get fairly precise if the vehicle is stationary, but is only accurate to about 600 feet on a moving vehicle. My insurance agent told me last summer that the onboard GPS on new cars, once it had a lock on three (or more) sats, was accurate to within about 6 inches. He said: “If you have an accident, I can tell you which lane you were in when it happened…”

Life is, chasing noble objectives? Shameless enjoyment? Inquisitive giblets? Taste of the world? Endless Travel? Spinning plates? Lining up dominoes? Being a light to others? Being a light for others? All the above and more. When our demise, transition, elevation, comes, all will be revealed. Getting to the end without being a burden on everyone else would be a winning scenario to me. The last couple of years are always crap and the exit previous generations took with strokes and heart attacks, while a bit sudden, was probably the most merciful way out possible. Years in a nursing home and memory care facility not being able to be productive is torturous on everyone.
Yes it would.. but unfortunately.. unless you are filthy rich.. you will end up a burden on someone else.. designation of where the resources go after your gone is a laugh .. because the ones getting it are all either medical or legal.. the only one that gets first dibs is the undertaker..
When my father passed on.. there were gynecologists, proctologists, pediatricians and every doctor associated in the wastelands sent a fifty dollar bill for consultation.. LOL LOL so why do you need a gynecologists opinion if a man is dead or not.. MEDICATIONS.. are thousands of percent higher in the USA than in Canada or Mexico or any other country.. one medication I took was what ten thousand percent more.. than the one I got from canada.. one antibiotic that my daughter got was suppose to be almost five hundred here but the pharmacy I was getting mine from in canada just sent us some if we paid the postage.. we pay a couple of grand a month for just the wife and that is not top of the line health insurance.. the bottom of the line health insurance is only sixteen thousand a year..they don’t pay a dime until you pay your ten grand.. and the office visit co pay is fifty dollars the medication co pay is ten for her.. fifteen for me.. I am scared at what insurance for me would be.. at the VA I pay fifty a visit and fifteen for copay generic and up to two hundred ( I might be wrong on the new deductibles it use to be 175 for name brand) .. before obamacare.. she couldn’t get health insurance.. and neither could I..

I was told last week it went up to 5000.00 per month in the city.. it is still 2500.00 at the facility my wife works at.. a nursing home is double that.. and you get a space eight foot by twelve foot and share a bathroom.. have a curtain between you and your room mate.. so almost a quarter million for nursing home and sixty thousand plus.. you do have to pay the laundry tab.. when my mother ended up in the nursing home we did the laundry.. the new guidelines say you get a couple of hundred on personal items like depends at twenty a package.. and getting your hair cut.. etc.. if you want cable you pay for it extra.. or a phone .. you pay for your transportation to and from the doctor for wheelchair express.. ( we just bought a wheel chair accessible van to take the guys we let live in our spare bedrooms.. see they were homeless and no one takes in homeless.. you have to be self pay to get into a facility..) one guy we let live in our spare room.. ( I loved him he was a hoot) lived in a dumpster.. I have seen millionaires all end up on public assistance.. my mother was quite frugal.. and at the end.. my sister asked me.. so what happened to all mom’s money.. I laughed and said honey she was in a nursing home for how many years..
My medications alone cost a fortune.. my seizure med was twelve hundred and fifty dollars a month.. not covered.. I was until congress changed the laws.. getting it from canada with clinic costs shipping communication etc.. for way under two hundred.. and if I lived there it would have been way under a hundred..
If you plan on giving it to any of the children.. do so at least seven years before you die.. what was it a friend that built several assisted living center said.. they are throwing farms at me.. a friends father in law needed a new heart valve.. his doctor came up and said.. I always wanted to own a farm..
a friend of the daughter.. she needed to start cancer treatment and they said as soon as you drop off fifty grand we will start.. her sister took a second mortgage out of the house to pay for her cancer treatment..
I worked off a debt at the hospital my ex wife had a simple same day surgery.. the cost was ten times more than someone with insurance.. I had to beg them to let me keep some of my integrety and I worked HELL YEAR.. a hundred and forty plus hours a week.. oh yeah.. they would call every half hour to every hour up till nine oclock at night telling you how worthless you are.. one comment was.. why in the hell did you seek medical attention if you didn’t have the money in the bank to write a check for it..

Dr. Chris Martenson on usawatchdog.com.
https://usawatchdog.com/medical-financial-political-war-disasters-getting-worse-dr-chris-martenson/
Dr. Chris Martenson holds a PhD in toxicology from Duke University, is a futurist and economic researcher. He is also a Wall Street Journal best-selling author with his new revised book called “Crash Course.” Martenson said in August 2021 on USAWatchdog that the FDA approval of Pfizer’s CV19 vaccine named Comirnaty was “actually a fraud.” He was right. Now, Martenson is warning that medical, financial and war troubles abound and people need to get ready to deal with a reality that no human has ever seen before. Martenson starts with the medical disaster called the CV19 vax and explains, “As you give these (CV19 injections) to people,, their immune system gets worse and worse and worse. That’s what is about to come through with common knowledge. You can see them fighting it, but people are starting to notice, hey, my friend who is quadruple jabbed is getting sick all the time now with colds, Covid, whatever. It is very clear this is the single most disastrous medical intervention in all of human history.”
The highest ever global asset valuations of 2021 and 2022 were based on the highest ever global total debt to GDP ratios and the lower interest rates ever. Confidence in banks have been decimated by liquidity problems secondary to real and paper losses in bank-held bond valuations caused by central banks’ QE/QT policy shifts to combat inflation. These factors are the direct cause of the coming nonlinear valuation collapse in equities, commodities, crypto’s, and gold.
The Bank of Shanghai is undergoing a deteriorating fractal pattern of 9/23/23/13 months; of which the terminal 13 months is composed a declining pattern of 10/22/20 of 21 weeks of which the terminal 21 weeks consists of a final pattern of 16/38/30/24 days. This interpolated decay pattern suggests a final low on Wed 29 March 2023.
For the Wilshire, a final Wednesday 29 March low valuation completes a 17/38/38/26 day pattern from the 12 October 2022 average low.
For US Ten Year Notes, March 29 will complete a 2 February US ten year treasuries pattern of 8/20/13 days with US ten year treasuries at less than 2.5%.
For bitcoin represented by Coinbase or GBTC, March 29 would complete an intermediate first and second fractal pattern of 42/88 days.
For gold in USD March 29 would complete a 10/23/25 month fractal series, of which the terminal portion of the 25 months is composed of 18/36/27 weeks, of which the final 27 days is composed of 4/10/10/6 days.
Re: Hobson’s Choice
feat. Pfizer, Moderna, CSPC
Folks,
Reuters Beijing advises that Chinese drugmaker CSPC has received approval to sell the first domestic-China mRNA covid vaccine (SYS6006). They claim it’s effective against the prevalent omicron strains referencing a 4000 person December/January 39 day clinical trial (unpublished?). The drug company’s published clinical study on mice used a delta variant and not omicron “for biosafety reasons”.

I can never find an entry level investment in this arena.
Scientists grow ‘mini antlers’ on mice, using deer stem cells
The results could be beneficial to heal bone injuries and regrow lost limbs
Deer antlers have an application in clinical bone repair
The Xi’an researchers examined the cellular make-up and gene expression dynamics of antler tissue during various stages of its growth. The stem cell populations that were highly capable of regenerative effects were then isolated and inserted into the heads of the test mice.

“No plans for a cease-fire in Ukraine, yet. In fact, a review of News Wrap: Xi, Putin discuss China’s peace proposal for Ukraine suggests that the whole effort is to put the ball in America’s court. And then have us bungle it.
The Biden admin has been spouting how no cease-fire will work until Russia throws in the towel. But the “peacenik mantel” is a sham as the US trying to speed up delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine.”
Zelensky wants Russian conquests, plus Crimea, returned to Ukraine, Putin in the dock for war crimes, and Russia to pay all reparations to completely rebuild Ukraine.
I believe if I were Putin, I would propose these terms:
Unconditional surrender or we will level everything, Zelensky and every member of the Azovs on trial for war crimes, reparations paid to Russia from the U.S., U.K., and the rest of NATO, in proportion to the amount of materiel each supplied to Ukraine, in addition to a 1000km buffer between NATO missiles and Russian territory, lifting of all sanctions, rebuilding of the pipelines, etc…
If Zelensky is going to make demands with which Russia can absolutely, positively, never comply and which Ukraine can never force upon Russia, Putin should do the same, especially since he has the ability to force compliance. Never initiate a deal or negotiation from the position at which you wish to close… and BTW I still remember that Volod was willing to negotiate with Vlad 54 weeks ago, and the Biden Administration would not allow him to do so — remember?
“review of News Wrap: Xi, Putin discuss China’s peace proposal for Ukraine suggests that the whole effort is to put the ball in America’s court. And then have us bungle it.”
the news story I read said that Joe not only said no.. but HELL NO.. and we moved troops closer to their border..
https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/3874833-biden-says-china-negotiating-russia-ukraine-peace-deal-not-rational/
the next news story was that US troops are going to go in.. and they want to make a new NATO type fighting group… something about calling them the ASS group.. oh hey.. that was AASC to be the ones to go into Russia and fight..
What could possibly go wrong..
https://warnews247.gr/apokalypsi-to-natoiko-schedio-gia-na-boun-amerikanika-stratevmata-stin-oukrania-ti-einai-i-dynami-aasc/
and just keep pushing.. I do see why they feel that they can’t fail.. the countries in NATO are all bankrupting themselves using all their strategic reserves and so is the USA and UK.. we are dumping it all into the protection of the PAWN.. Either way we now have a multi polar world and the drive to be the currency and the power and influence to be ours has now changed if they fail.. the half dozen families that rule the world are probably dropping bricks on the floor in worry..
From my perspective the only way this can go at this point.. we tipped over the edge.. is for us to keep falling.. its not only the financial death spiral but it is the spiral of power and influence.. we dragged all the members of NATO into a war that isn’t winnable.. they have all put their cards on the roulette wheel in hopes of it hitting their number..
“Essentially, the outcome of Xi-Putin was likely to set up final timing of when to begin the “Two Fronts War” on the U.S.”
I suspect Mr. Xi has read Sun Tzu. Why should China get into a shootin’ war with the U.S. when we’re doing an admirable job of destroying ourselves, without any Chinese military intervention? I think the only way we fight a war with either Russia or China is if WE start it and do so in such a manner as to give them no choice.
BTW, y’all have heard about the Ford battery plant in Marshall, Michigan, right? Have you heard about the others?
Gotion Global is building several Chinese battery factories in Michigan. These are pure Belt-in-mouth. Employees will be Chinese Nationals and management will be CCP/PLA. At the one proposed for Big Rapids, employees will be housed at the local college, I believe at State expense.

“Outfits like MSN and Yahoo, along with others, may occasionally be seen stealing whole articles”
This is a rarity, because virtually everything now goes out over the wires. AP and Reuters “fair use” everything their networks distribute, which is why you can find a writeup on an incident or occasion, quote the first sentence (in quotation marks), Google it, and get thousands of hits for that exact article. It has been my experience that a typical national event will be written up by three (and only three) copy editors or faux reporters. Those three renditions of said event will then hit AP and Reuters, and sometimes AFP (one version each) and be distributed for every “newspaper” “editor” and “news director” to C/P and edit to trim for length and ensure the implied political message remains intact.

Folks,
Remember the closing scene in “The Wizard of Oz”? The Wizard’s balloon takes off to the accompaniment of “Delirious Escape”. Apparently Moscow isn’t Kansas. President Xi was serenaded onto his jet by a war song the Chinese First Lady famously sang – “When that Day Comes (as war approaches).

NSW Labor leader’s electric bus runs out of charge on campaign trail
The much-vaunted electric bus transporting NSW Labor leader Chris Minns around the state in the lead-up to Saturday’s election has run out of charge. The eco-friendly bus – packed with travelling media and Labor staffers – ran out of battery yesterday on a trip to Camden in Sydney’s west. Minns and his passengers were forced to disembark before quickly being ushered onto a diesel-powered bus that was brought in as backup.
