Future Jitters, Turn-around Tuesday, First Do No Harm?

My consigliere and I are both very worried about the future.  So before we get into the blood and guts of current markets and “news” a few items that are beginning to pop up for next year.

First, there are independent reports that in September 2022 there will be a major earthquake in Japan.  Something well into the 9+ range.  And it will trigger Pacific-wide tsunami warnings.  This comes from assembly of both remote viewers (RV’ers) as well as future-workers who frequent GLP and other thought-forward sites.

If that was where the agreement between “seers” and RV’ers ended, it would be worth mentioning.

But the REAL BIG item to remember is there’s a harmonic in the reports (harmonization of outlooks) that the September ’22 Japan quake will only be an early warning – a confirmation, if you will, that the winter-spring of 2023 is when the megaquake long-forecast for California shows up.  You know, the one where part of the state falls into the Pacific’s depths.  Little quivers like Earthquake: 3.2 quake felt near Coachella, Calif. are just reminders.

We don’t hand out too many reading assignments around here.  But, before, oh, let’s say a year from now, you need to read the 1937 dream of Joe Brandt.  You see, in one of the most interesting predictive works ever, Brandt saw (as a boy in coma) what he would swear was the future of SoCal.

During my “California days” I spent a fair amount of time around Hollywood and Vine, had an office in the 6464 Sunset building, and Elaine and I visited often during our Burbank period when I was running a recording college.  Each time, wandering the middle of Hollywood, we’d listen for birds and the supposedly “missing sounds.”  There has been  decrease in Hollywood bird sounds and with 5G and all the pollution in the region, a year or two more, and one of the key indicators in the Joe Brandt dream will likely be an accomplished fact. Silence of nature.

Just wanted to put the “biggies” into perspective because this fell out of my consigliere’s detailed tracking of the “seer/predictors/and dreamers who have aligned so well with the RV’ers (remote viewers)  on the present La Palme optics.

Numbers du jour

Here from the Bureau of Economic Analysis:

The August rate for units in buildings with five units or more was 530,000.”

Good ones!  After, Dow futures were +213 but still a good-sized rally ahead of the Fed seems likely.  Enjoy wave 4 of the larger one down?  (If you don’t know what that means, keep reading!)

Turn-around Tuesday Workbook

Sorry if the ramble Monday was a bit long and hard to follow.  All I was trying to do was encapsulate where markets MAY be now.  We have in our Aggregate Index a potential all-time high of 40,475.85 on Labor Day weekend.  From there, we declined, had a bounce, and in the Monday outlook we postulated “how far down’ MIGHT be.

At least for Wave 3 (or the larger 1) the blue track is the “closing print” but I roughed in the red intraday panic so you get a good sense of things:

Today – and possibly lasting into tomorrow’s Fed rate (non-decision, the manic ‘tudes will be over tapering prospects) we are likely in that yellow up area on the right.  By Friday, though, I wouldn’t be surprised by a “print low for the week” even lower than yesterdays lows.

Let’s look at our Elliott Estimator, though, and see how we did.  Closing Aggregate was 38,824.02 though we traded several hundred points lower during the session before my “late session rally” came in and took us from the extreme lows (where the Dow was down almost 950 points momentarily) to only being down 600 and change.

In the Wave III Possibilities area, the dark blue with yellow numbers is where we traded.  Left was the closing actual we were closest to, while the right was attained during session lows.

Follow the blue line up to the Wave IV possibilities and now you’re in George country.  Long from Monday, we will likely get back to the short side after the pre-Fed rally (a.k.a. dead cat bounce) due today.

Dow futures early were up 285 and the S&P’s were up more than 33, as well.

A Word About Swing Trading

Normally, we don’t talk too much about various trading styles.  Because some idiot might miss our frequent disclaimers that THIS IS NOT INVESTMENT OR TRADING ADVICE!

But that said, when the volatility  is good, and we think there’s a good handle on events to come, its a very simple strategy for a small trader to watch for trading targets to be hit (like the lows Monday) and enter either a leveraged (2X or 3X), or not,  ETF for the rally into IV.  And when that fails, the flip into a  similarly leveraged (or not) short side ETF on one of the major indices.

In stocks (and options) there are so many ways to play (and print up lunch money) I can’t understand why more people don’t do it.  Other than the need to check markets every 10-15 minutes when a trade gets close to one of the predicted turns.

Sure, lots of technical indicators to help spot the turns, too, but more in the ChartPack on the Peoplenomics side tomorrow.

The two bits of news that matter most around here are the arrival of the first good “cold front” of fall (which begins tomorrow, BTW) is impactful.  I don’t do outside work over 80F.  So when Linda-at-Law in Houstonia sends us “What to know about our cold front!” we read carefully and appreciatively.

Why, after that, a click over to the FinViz lumber chart to check our price timing and Presto!  The news that matters.

If we were having a house built?  (We’ve thought about it) a look at the Lumber chart holds that we did a 1 down, 2 up, 3 down, and we’re now in a complex 4 that seems like we might even see lumber prices drop into the 400’s before the year is out.  Really no hurry. since the Fed is likely to talk taper while continuing to goose markets with helicopters full of cash.

Does the deck get built sooner or later?  Lemme get back to you.  Just showing you how you CAN optimize stuff in your life.  There are already black-out dates for shop projects because we know when the real market collapse ought to fall next month.  And we’ll be keeping our attention on that for obvious reasons.

Xi learning Hitler?  Little background on this:  You know besides Mein Kampf  Adolph Hitler wrote a second book.  Maybe you haven’t read it, but there’s a LOT in it about the feminization of nations (hint:  you’re in one).  And how in order to claim its “rightful place” nations that deemphasize feminization make better warriors.  Testosterone vs. estrogen was not well known, but the concept underlies Hitler’s thinking on dominant males.    To the point then?  A Worrisome headline that China Targets ‘Effeminate’ Men in Xi’s Mounting Push for Conformity. While many of the org charts of China look a bit “1930s Germanic” we keep wondering when Xi will pull the trigger on Taiwan “reunification” as a modern “chip-making Sudetenland.”  “Lebens code?”  Male-female balance is a touchy area for liberals.  But short of Amazon Women in myth, males make the history.  China gets two free passes from Bidenistas:  They are still making new coal fired power plants and NOW they are “signifying” on women’s rights.  How slow can you Joe?

What kind of bullshit is this?  To protect the supreme court’s legitimacy, a conservative justice should step down (yahoo.com).  How about “To protect the legitimacy of the House, Nancy Pelosi should step down”?  Or, “To protect the legitimacy of the Presidency, Joe Biden should step down.”  Seriously, get the f**k over yourselves.  Sometimes history (like honest golf) is played from the rough.  Liberals always want a four club length drop, don’t they?

If this isn’t convoluted enough (remember, I’m a tree farmer!)  why in God’s name would we promote MORE electric vehicles?  Can’t anyone think more than one move at a time?  Kiddies:  Trees (like people) get old and die.  Even the Great Basin Bristlecone Pine, though 5,000 years is a good run.   Replanting is involved for ’em all.  It’s not all climate, climate, climate.  Develop the land, clear off the natural reseeding processes?  Trees die off and fall over.  Jeez…pour me a double, would yah?  Teaching kindergarten today.

      I believe that most of us see this coming.. especially when that’s exactly what they said they would do..
      What I don’t understand is what benefit is it to them. Have they taking a serious look at how other politicians have been treated in the past. And look at the laws if they have compared to our laws which are very severe. I would be terrified if I was a congressman had seen this stuff coming in at ten thousand a day infusion of illegals. We are looking at what three four million potential Warriors inside the United States.
      I talked to a couple of people in the special forces of the United States here a week or so ago and asked them what they saw. On it coming. they all are pretty close-knit group and most of them are stockpiling and getting ready for jihad to be started within our borders..

  7. There are geological and infrastructural reasons that East Texas is a choice location for surviving mega-disasters. How is it that when I was looking for a place that had a shot at surviving the splitting of the country via the New Madrid line, the eruption of Yellowstone, the nuke plants going critical, nuclear war and tsunamis I picked a spot near George and Elaine? Threat assessments are not that difficult to parse through.

    At the end of the day, you take your best shot and deal with life (or death) as it comes. It’s no different than any other day, as we all face adversity and challenges just living our lives.

    I’m pretty much done with obeying edicts issuing from the fedgov. They are 100% based on roping in more money for the managerial class, and there is no logic to them at all. The government is completely corrupted at this point – it’s just a question of when and how it finally implodes. I don’t see it getting sorted out by people already living in the swamp (including Trump). It’s looking more and more like it is teetering right and left, and the smallest thing can upset the balance – like one black swan alighting on the end of a seesaw.

    I don’t watch the news on TV, but was sitting in the doctors office I was opposite the obligatory CNN spew. I imagined how someone from 1980 would think watching the stories as they played.,, and I do mean stories…

    So our Constitution(al rights) encompass the entire world now? A denizen is not a Citizen until (s)he is naturalized. Until then, they are just cattle.     I have seen a “display device” that is active and predictive. it really is quite breath-taking and beautiful to see it work. (And this was in the 1970s. I can only imagine how far that has progressed.)

    I think that not all stupid things FedGov does ARE stupid.       Asimov was brilliant, with a sneaky sense of humor which I found particularly appealing. Such wordplays and anagrams as USRMMI appear throughout his writings. It was because of USRMMI that I never believed Arthur C. Clarke when he claimed the H.A.L. computers (“2001: A Space Odyssey”) were not a wordplay on I.B.M. As a respected geologist he approached the reading as a scientist. A hard nosed scientist I might say.     This afternoon I had an analog renaissance moment and selected a book with a mellow yellow cover to check out from my local civic library. Judging by its pristine condition, I don’t think it had spent much time off the shelf since entering library inventory one year, eight months and 10 days ago. The title is “Zeconony – how Gen Z will change the future of business and what to do about it” by Jason Dorsey and Denise Villa, PhD. who are market researchers advising corporations. The book looks at Gen Z who entered the matrices between 1997 and 2011.

    Perhaps many readers of this ‘Urban blog to his Finsta set will recall that mid-70’s marketing guru to the Fortune 500, Mr. Molloy, who published the “Dress for Success” series. Simply follow the recipe, and avoid wearing a bowtie.
