Great questions — exactly the kind that move this from curiosity into real experimentation.
On the 14.3 Hz signal, the best starting point is what I’m using now: a symmetric, zero-centered waveform (think square wave swinging equally positive and negative). That behaves more like a signal than a force. It avoids creating a net chemical push in the soil, which can happen with DC. In other words, you’re “tapping” the system rather than pushing ions in one direction over time.
Could pulsed DC work? Possibly — but that’s a second-phase experiment. Once you introduce DC, you’re no longer just dealing with field effects; you’re introducing directional ion movement, local pH changes, and electrochemical effects at the electrodes. That may produce interesting results, but it’s a different mechanism. If someone goes that route, polarity will matter — but not in a simple “+ is better than –” way. It will depend on soil chemistry, moisture, and plant stage. So treat DC and polarity as variables to test, not assumptions to build around.
On equipment, this is still very much a roll-your-own space. There isn’t a mature “electroculture hardware aisle” yet. You’re basically assembling from general-purpose parts: function generators, low-voltage drivers, simple electrodes. That’s part of the appeal — we’re in early experimental territory, not consumer product territory. Over time, if results hold up, I’d expect purpose-built systems to appear. For now, it’s closer to early ham radio bench work than plug-and-play gardening.
Your thunderstorm analogy is a sharp one. Storms bring a combination of moisture, field disturbance, and timing — not just electricity. So the idea of syncing the signal to watering cycles makes good sense. Water increases soil conductivity, roots are actively transporting, and you’re mimicking a transient event rather than a constant background.
That said, there are two competing ideas worth testing:
Event-driven model (your idea): signal only during irrigation or “storm-like” moments
Rhythmic model (what I’m currently doing): signal during the day, off at night to allow recovery
The right answer is likely empirical, not theoretical. The clean way forward is side-by-side testing:
one bed with continuous daytime signal
one bed with signal only during watering
possibly a hybrid (low baseline, stronger during irrigation)
Measure growth, yield, timing, and plant morphology and let the plants vote.
The bigger picture here is that we may not be “adding energy” so much as restoring or reinforcing environmental cues that biology evolved under — weak fields, timing, and coherence signals. If that’s true, then waveform, timing, and context will matter more than raw power.

Remember,q if you use DC (or even ac offset from the normal zero axis crossing at ground potential ) you set up ion migration – the stuff that sinks metal boats and corrodes grounding systems. Symmetrical waveforms are easy until we offset to deliberately find if there’s an (offset) ion migratyion involved. But if so, those could be problematic and more a soils issue than ocherence of signals experiment.

Makes sense. Ure starting with an AC square wave centered at 14.3 HZ. (Square waves have a complex frequency signature) with intent of it playing a signaling role only. Introducing a DC offset would start moving ions (but could be nutrients in motion). Polarity may not really matter as much as movement if it would really help any.
Let us know if something works better than the rest, or if you find any neat gadgets. I don’t see me jumping back in this season, but I may not have a choice next. Water and chemical conservation with off-grid feasibility are big issues with me, as is conservation of muscle power and reduction in disc hammering. Small plot with high yield and low self-abuse are goals. Previous experience required too much acreage and too much of everything else to even approach any sort of personal dietary goals. And then there are preservation issues.

His analysis can predict the ebbs and flows of the markets, but specific out comes like market crashes, that should happen, but do not! A reason for this may be there is too much money being thrown around! No one seems to know
where this money is coming from,and when it will come! As long as debt can be created, money will flow into the markets through different channels.This all effects and affects the fractal growths. Another thing I have noticed is that if we time strobe the indexes/charts, we can find many fractals at work. Which time frame becomes dominant, and how do these many ongoing time fractals interact with one another?
To my knowledge, Dr. Lammert has never said that one should try to trade with these fractals. I have tried it, but my results have been random. To me they remain a curiosity! Some of us want to be able to call the markets and do very well with lift offs and crashes,but I have to think,do we want a crash? The bond,equities,and commodity markets have become too large. Water in soil can be migrated, moved with D.C. electricity. Along with the water soil nutrients will follow the water. A positive ion, or Aon will flow towards the negative ions,or caions. A battery or power supply can perform this task.
Electroculture may be as simple this, but I do not know! Nelson’s site: Rex Research has many electroculture schemes to try out if you need too.
Researchers have also found that singing, talking positively to your plants promotes their growth. Find, and play their favorite radio station, and you may get jumbo tomatoes, and cukes. An old Halifcrafters would be good for this!

Sun was definitely farther North this morning than two days ago. Too rainy in the early morning yesterday. Clif had some sort of electro disturbance last night. Powerful confusion. Meanwhile my dreams have been complex and technical, lots of conversations and ‘physical’ interactions. Missus woke me up because I had my hand gripped on her head, feeling the hair keeping me from turning the slippery door knob that was the dream. She was not having it though. Grumbling.
Finished with the three week house/dog sit and have had enough big screen TV to last forever. The ‘news’ is not. The barely camouflaged propaganda is amazing. Two channels, two different views.
So looking forward to being released by this visa process and getting the boat back where she belongs, and us from the ‘housing’.

Why would the Iranians want to meet with Kushner and Witkoff to negotiate? BOTH have large financial investments in Israel. BOTH qualify for Israeli Citizenship. BOTH have spend large amounts of time staying /living in Israel. (and of course both are Jewish)
WHO are Kushner and Witkoff REALLY representing when they sit down to negotiate with the Iranians?

It appears the ONLY Non-Jewish top negotiator that Trump has ever used wrt Iran is JD Vance and from outside reports he was making sufficient progress with the Iranians that they were shocked when he suddenly announced that the discussions were over (there are some reports that Netanyahu called him directly after which the talks broke off but those are unconfirmed)
If the US truly wanted to negotiate with Iran it would NOT SEND Kushner and Witkoff who are clearly compromised as to WHO they are really representing wrt the talks since BOTH have a HUGE economic stake wrt making sure Israel’s goals are what wins, NOT US’s FIRST goals.
As I said days ago this “Cease Fire” was All “Kabuki Theater”. Trump never wanted any serious discussions with Iran, he didn’t really want Iran to give up it’s stockpile of enriched uranium via negotiations, he just wanted more time so as get more military assets into the regions because WAR was his (and Israel’s) objective .
It shocks me how easily we forget moments like the Battle of the Little Bighorn events that shaped who we became long before modern alliances existed. Somewhere along the way, especially after NATO was formed, the global balance shifted and we started acting more like the dominant force on the playground than the cautious student of history we once were.
I’m not blaming everyday people, but the decisions made at the top often seem driven by money and power and those two things have a way of clouding judgment. What’s wild is that both money and power are basically illusions we’ve agreed to believe in, yet they end up steering entire nations. It’s a strange thing to watch.

Across time and all cultures, teachers like Confucius, the Daoist sages, the Prophet Muhammad, Jesus Christ, along with philosophers like Plato his allegory of the cave comes to mind.. all of the most important teachers pointed their messages toward humility, justice, balance, and care for others.
Yet for me at least is it’s hard to ignore how often the systems built around their teachings all end up being predominantly around money and power end up drowning out those important values.
I believe when success is measured mainly in profit or influence, wisdom gets sidelined. We quote these traditions, but rarely follow their core message… that integrity matters more than accumulation, and that leadership should serve people—not the other way around.
I wonder if the real challenge isn’t whether our legislators remember their words, but whether we’re all willing to live them when it eventually costs us something.

George, square waves are generally the summation of all odd harmonics, so lots of frequencies are being skipped unless you slow sweep the fundamental up and down a bit. An alternative waveform may be more desirable, and probably the ultimate would be to maintain the fundamental square wave +- 20% or so and mix with random noise within some reasonable spectrum. Nature loves variation on a theme. I’ve not tried it – I have no green thumbs at all, and my only gardening claim to fame is keeping cactus alive.
