GDP, CFNAI, And a Computer Mystery

Although the new GDP (gross domestic product) report is out, I want to tell you why it’s a bad indicator in many ways.  All has to do with inflation.

So, pretend you show up at a used car lot.  You need a beater for getting to work.  You spy some 20-year old import and the “price” is negotiated.  You agree to $3,000.

Your salesman says “Slick – let’s just get this approved.”

He comes back a few minutes later.  “Sales manager nixed the deal. Price is $3,500 – take it or leave it…”

As you’re trying to decide whether to do business with this prick, a buddy shows up and slips $500 bucks in your pocket.  (“Won a small Lotto jackpot!” he whispers.)

So you tell the ass-clown salesman.  “I’ll take it!” because now you’re flush with cash.

Your salesman says “Slick – let’s just get this approved.”

He comes back, shaking his head.  “Sales manager says the car is really worth $4-grand, so take it, or leave it.”

Your phone rings.  “Hi honey, I just got a $1,200 bonus at work.  I’m giving you $500 to get anything you want…”

You look at the worthless specimen of sales chicanery who’s nervously looking at you.  “Keep your shitty hooptie – for $4-large I can get me a pimpmobile…

This is the macro view of what’s going on in the economy right now.  The underlying goods picture is stagnant.  In fact, the Ports in Southern California this month reported:

  • Long Beach:  Loaded inbound cargo (TEU’s) down 32.3%
  • Port of Los Angeles: Loaded imports down 12.91%

There’s always a little horse-trading between Long Beach and L.A. but the reality of Asian inbound is highly suckified.

So, what’s really going on?

Made up Money, brothers and sisters.  Because despite protestations, the government really does just “make up money” it can’t otherwise squeeze out of “We the People” through taxes one way, or the other.

As we warned you several times in the past year or three:  If you make up enough money, you can have an absolutely brilliant and thrilling economy even while deals aren’t happening.  The price in our used car example drove the price of a used car up 33% even though the deal did not go down.

Some like this is what’s afflicting the American Greedster Mindset right now.  “Printing’s no sin, as long as we win” logic.

Thing is – Quality of Life (measured by how much you can buy out of consumer discretionary after all the bills are paid) is heading down.  Unless you’re too dumb to notice.

Which sets up the morning’s:

Fairytale of Rising GDP

Public Debt to the Penny (as of Tuesday) wasd $31,455,409,398,238.35.

On January first this year it was $31,351,186,121,029.94.

In less than two months, the public debt was up a little over 3-tenths of one percent.  And that’s given the running into the debt ceiling and all that.  If this rate continues for 6-more two-month periods, we will see the public debt rise around 2 percent for the year. But it will be more, likely, when the Budget Sell-Out is finalized. More theatrics due first.

Consumer inflation year-on-year is up (unadjusted latest 12 months Food Prices) 10.1 percent.

It’s with this additional context we can begin serving more whoppers than Burger King.

Real gross domestic product (GDP) increased at an annual rate of 2.7 percent in the fourth quarter of 2022, after increasing 3.2 percent in the third quarter. The increase in the fourth quarter primarily reflected increases in inventory investment and consumer spending that were partly offset by a decrease in housing investment.

Extra Pickle With That?

Now let’s look at the CFNAI – Chicago Fed National Activity Indicator also just out:

Led by improvements in production-related indicators, the Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) rose to +0.23 in January from –0.46 in December. Three of the four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index made positive contributions in January, and three categories improved from December. The index’s
three-month moving average, CFNAI-MA3, moved up to –0.26 in January from –0.34 in December.

With all this, the stock futures were showing a rally.  We cynically wonder if it’s because people are finally in the “walk away from the deal” mode.

But the market is up 91 following the releases, so the end of the world isn’t likely at least for today.

The War Princess Rant

We’ve been telling you for months and months that the former Neocons, now the Neoliberals in the Buy’ed ’em administration are frothing for war to jack up the economy.  We’re not the only ones who see Victoria Nuland as a cornerstone problem for American rationality, now.  Musk blames Nuland for ‘pushing war’ in Ukraine – TeleTrader.com

Wars are never fun.  People lose their entire life’s work and it sets up feints like the World Economic Forum’s Great Reset con job.  In which the rich will renounce debts, you’ll be screwed and (like the old Tennessee Ernie Ford song) “Another day older and deeper in debt.

Since the Obama-Biden takedown of coal in ‘Merica, the energy reserves of the Dnieper Donets Basin have the glint of gold in days of old.  Given an excuse for war and while China’s cranking out new coal-fire power plants, the brinksmanship of World War III is one of the few safe forecasts we can make.

In the words of Gen. Smedley Butler, War’s a Racket.  Was then and still is.

War is also a growth industry:  Russia Claims Ukraine Plans False Flag Fake Attack on Moldova which the war supporters are all worked up over. Nary a peep about us/US spending billions to toss out Ukraine’s elected government in the first place. Stir shit up and make wars – it’s what we do.  You get the tab.

Covering Up Epstein

I know – nothing to all those “Clinton Body Count” stories from back in the day.  But if you pop over to the NY Post website, you’ll find a kind of “days of future past” rhyme in Death of Clinton aide tied to Jeffrey Epstein ruled suicide (nypost.com).  Suicide by gunshot, no gun at scene.  Yeah, must be a suicide, right?

ATR: MSFT Vs. Starlink

Tech Help Needed:  Microsoft is about to loose me as a customer.  Even though I have been a loyal fan since Windows 3.2.

Story goes like this:  Ure gets Starlink.  Marvey and cool.

EXCEPT that when I try to send email, I have to drop back to a different internet connection/network.  I usually drop back to my ViaSat link.

Because if I don’t, Outlook (Office365) just leaves crap in the Outbox and won’t send it.  As soon as I drop off Starlink, onto ViaSat, the send/rx works and mail goes out fine.

I’ve been on the web since Day One, so I went looking for the reason why this was happening.

Turns out I’m not the only one with the same problem.  On a StarlinkForum post found another user with the same squawk:

“I have just switched to Starlink and I can no longer send emails from Outlook, I have to go back to ADSL and then return to Starlink for internet… Can someone please advise a fix as I have had no luck getting a response from Microsoft.”

Turns out, the workaround is:

issue is caused by microsoft not recognizing your sudden change of location/IP.

– Close outlook

– Login to outlook web based mail first – https://outlook.office.com/mail/

– Reopen outlook and try send/receive.

Which did work – until the next reboot and then it doesn’t work again. As I see it: This is a half-assed workaround that I shouldn’t have to do to send an email. I’m not going to have to keep ViaSat so I can send gd email. Bill’s shit’s gonna have to go.

What I REALLY want to know is WTF is MSFT inserting itself between MY PC and CenturyLink.net which is one of my mail servers? Why isn’t Outlook going direct to CenturyLate?

If I can’t get this fixed – pronto (and without the monkey-motion and time waste of holding endlessly to whitelist IPs) I’m outta MSFT.  Bring on Thunderbird or some other mail client that’s not sniffing and storing everything.  This is my line-in-the-sand moment.

Just pisses me off – so if you have any ideas how to fix this, please post a comment and help an old man out.  But I DON’T want my files all backed up to their cloud. I simply don’t want my emails going anywhere I don’t personally control.

I have tried turning off all location controls and even set up my PC as a local account.  Still no joy.  This is nuts.

Technology like this in the hands of A.I. could be horrible.  Open source and total control of your electronic footprint may be the last bastion of freedom before WW III.

Win11 is a slick…experiment…so far.  (If I have Outlook and my settings, why does it set up a Microsoft mail something-or-other?  Help a brother out ‘cuz I just ain’t following the business logic of all this!)

I’m still not fully back up to speed from my Win11 disaster a month or two back where I had to reset my PC: Here’s a partial list of how THAT nightmare worked out:

Maybe I’m just getting old and cranky.

No, take the maybe out of it.  Life’s too short for bullshit. Don’t waste yours on it.

  1. Tennessee had a fire yesterday … damn, that could have been bad …

    https://www.wate.com/news/tennessee/uranium-fire-contained-at-y-12-national-security-complex-in-oak-ridge/

And about a half hour from here, a farm fire …

    https://www.wtap.com/2023/02/22/fire-destroys-seven-buildings-morgan-county/

Strange how many fires on farms … last couple years have been unreal …

    https://awionline.org/press-releases/more-half-million-farm-animals-have-died-barn-fires-2022

I’m sure those nuclear folks and farmers are very safety conscious about fires but, shit happens … or does it? Hmmm

  2. I dumped Microsoft and went to LibreOffice (free) and Thunderbird for email which works fine with my Starlink connection. No annual fees!

    • MS is having mail problems; mine involved using mail for both outlook and yahoo mail. Seems some of the yahoo mails don’t resolve to text they just stay in html and you can’t read them. If I go to the yahoo mail website emails open just fine.
Must be 1,000’s with this same problem by the # of posts, but MS has no solution.
Kinda sucks because my processor isn’t a match for their next major upgrade, so looks like I’m stuck with it.

    • Yes.
Anything to do with the Ohio environmental situation?
      The Clintons?
      George just wrote about them.
      Hmm…

All five people aboard a twin-engine plane died when it crashed Wednesday, shortly after taking off from Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Little Rock, Arkansas, officials said.

“The environmental consultant company CTEH later confirmed in a statement to CBS News that all five people aboard, including the pilot, were CTEH employees out of its Little Rock office.”

  3. Been using Thunderbird along with Firefox for a long time. Never cared for Outlook when I had to use it at the office pre retirement. Could never keep my macros and email rules up to date due to, IMO, the network security dudes would update and patch about every 20 minutes it seemed. Whenever I would open a ticket on of any of this the standard answer was “Have you rebooted your machine?” Double big BS!
Your right, we are so out of the 20th century now and these little BS glitches should not be happening. What is it the she/her/them said? Aint got time for that.

    • Jim, same here. George: instead of my snarky reply that you can’t leave MSFT it would have been better to mention I use Edge for discreet business purposes but have been with Mozilla since 2002 when in AKL, NZL and experienced an IE fail. I use Firefox for recreational web / Tbird for website / sailing email. Both have been perfekt in every regard. Regards, Egor

        • Outlook is rubbish & glitchy and has been for a long time. How about just having multiple emails? No manager needed. And you have backup capability.
Plus privacy concerns should disqualify G00gle and Microsoft from handling anyone’s emails.

  4. ” Massive mine collapse ”

For the folks w/large 4K screens look up caving or acrophobia videos.

Thinking about the Clinton suicides most of us must know our killer if that’s the way we are to go out. Always have a pistol nearby. We just don’t know who is going to try.

  5. With every passing day, my speculation grows that we (“Civilization”) are already over-the-waterfall, and there is no going back. Ever.
Before recent days, I thought a Big Crunch, or some sort of Revolutionary Times could cause a regression to something like logic and ‘normalcy.”

Now, and slowly growing, I’m not so sure altitude is sufficient for recovery.

  6. I just bought a new desktop with windows 11 “preinstalled”, and promptly set about installing Ubuntu on it with the dual boot option. I have a few legacy applications that need windows, but the rest is run on Ubuntu with WINE. Thunderbird works great for email, and I believe you can still get the encrypted option (gnu-pgp?) for it although I didnt install that for this newest machine. I also keep several email accounts in different places for webmail (Tutanota -encrypted), mailfence (can be encrypted), Hushmail, and mail-dot-com for generic stuff, (this can be accessed through Thunderbird). I have not used any Windows products normally since I gave up XP (which was actually very good). I have win 8.1 here at work and absolutely hate it.

    • My Win 8.1 machine just crapped on me yesterday! It was installed when I bought it used and didn’t have time to screw around with it. Yes, I have a backup, but backups are never recent enough. The university insists on running its email through Office 365 which is such awful bloatware that it only runs properly on an I-7 or better. That machine was an I-7 and yet another bloatware, Adobe Acrobat, insisted on “updating” itself even though I’ve not used it for six months and disabled its update service. Somehow it re-enabled that service and spun my hard disk to death. Until I get some time, that machine is out of service and I’ll hope to get what I can off the disk eventually. I’ll be installing a new SSD and loading a decent Linux for it. I’ve never used MS-Office over the last decade – Libre Office works so much better without needing registration or any other nonsense. I’ll also be looking for another email provider that values privacy and encryption. I’ll not spend 4K for a crappy used car from an arrogant salesman!

  7. Whoa Tex.

One does not _leave_ MSFT. If even half serious, after broadcasting in the clear, you may as well buy all new hardware before the exit (knowing root kernels are sprinkled throughout you machines).

I bucked trend and went early adopter on Win-11. It’s OK though I am bugged by minor beefs where what has _always_ taken one click now takes two. Then I think back to early days and …?

It’s funny to ponder what now irritates (extra clicks, tiny wait times) when in the beginning just to enter the www took eons. I sometimes try to mimic sound of a modem. Young(er) folks look with amusement.

Old(er) folks always get it, and smile.
    Keep tapping cranky,
    Egor

  8. Finally got around to reading Linux for Dummies but it’s only the 3rd edition so guess I’ll be getting the latest one on Ebay soon. I’m like Ben at S0 who’s put out the word that Mammoth Nation is now his go-to place for everything instead of Amazon. I may be able to find the book there. 8th edition is still over $30 on Ebay.

According to Nipun (an obviously All-American over at Dell) you can get Ubuntu on a Dell XPS 13+ from the factory.

“We have XPS 13 plus with below specs for $1649 + Taxes”

    12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-1260P (18 MB cache, 12 cores, 16 threads, up to 4.70 GHz Turbo)
    Ubuntu® 22.04 LTS
    Intel® Iris® Xe Graphics
    13.4″, FHD+ 1920 x 1200, 60Hz, Touch, Anti-Glare, 500 nit, InfinityEdge
    16 GB, LPDDR5, 5200 MHz, integrated, dual-channel
1 TB, M.2, Gen 4 PCIe NVMe, SSD

Which blows my budget all to Hell and gone but I’ll see about working with them on price. Heck, you can get one for half price at Office Depot but they all have W11 on them with an i3 or i5 in them.

    • Check local shopping club, outlets and other big box stores for a bargain basement i7. Then run the laptop specs by crucial.com and check out available RAM and SSD upgrades. A little home work and a screw driver will save you a couple grand.

    • I saw this a couple of days ago.., thinking of blowing-up my budget also.., but it looks like a great machine. The learning curve – system and all new software makes me a little hesitant.

      • We were in Office Depot a couple of weeks ago looking at laptops. No i7’s but the i5’s appear to have some decent speed to them now. They were going for 6 to 8 hundred so, given the huge difference between Dell’s price and one of those at OD I could afford to waste a M$ license or at least leave the reinstall partition alone if they had one in case I wanted to (oh, maybe in a fit of idiocy) go back to W10 or 11. The real trick is finding the right drivers for everything like Steevo says at Crucial or maybe at the manufacturer’s websites. The only thing I wonder about is whether or not doing this would violate the warranty?

    • I bought Linux for Dummies – 9th Addition, on Amazon., used for $20. Excellent condition – doesn’t look like it was ‘used’ at all. Might want to check that out.

    • For Bill (or anyone else who’s fed up with Microsoft’s BS):

For “Linux for Dummies,” use Amazon or Abe to determine the edition you want, then copy the ISBN or UPC (not ASIN, this is an Amazon number) and run a Google search on that number, filtered for “past year” in time. You may get hits from Amazon in several different places, with vastly differing prices — same with Abe Books. You’ll also get hits from HPB, Thrift, and a hundred other book stores. You can also search eBay with this number and may get better results than from just a title search.

You can do the same with the computer, but you’re probably not going to beat the dell.com price on a new XPS 13+, because retailers receive certain perks for selling Microsoft machines. Dell, HP, Compaq (when they were their own company), and Gateway (when they still existed) could all be purchased with some flavor of *NIX factory-installed (I think the first PC I ever saw with preloaded LINUX was a Gateway with RedHat v3.0.3.)

Personal confusers tend to run about an order or magnitude faster on *NIX than any Microsoft OS. Unless you’re doing field engineering, I’d not hesitate to buy a warranted/guaranteed, used/refurbed machine and install Debian or Ubuntu on it. Try looking at these:

Debian is the first easy-to-use Linux. Ubuntu was developed from Debian as an easier to use Debian. Mint was developed from Ubuntu as an easier to use Ubuntu. I suggest you try Mint “Cinnamon” — download it and burn to a DVD or grab a copy of “Rufus” ( https://rufus.ie/en/ ) and burn that DVD image to a thumbdrive. You can do that with any of them, though. You can then boot your computer into LINUX and play with it, without touching your current Windows system.

  9. “You spy some 20-year old import and the “price” is negotiated. You agree to $3,000.”He comes back a few minutes later. “Sales manager nixed the deal. Price is $3,500 – take it or leave it…”

that is why you take your fat buddy …or a NIP dog.. LOL LOL my friend had a dog.. real friendly.. nice dog.. but he would nip at your NUT SACK… if you didn’t give him the attention he had.. we would take that dog to go look at cars.. LOL the dog would always nip at the salesmans sack.. it was a hoot.. we never bought a car but it was fun to watch.. Salesmen work in teams.. you have one working on you one reading you and one to blame.. the sales manager..
so you take your fat buddy to read the reader and keep his azz busy.. could you get me a cup of coffee.. how about a cookie.. a doughnut etc.. IF.. the salesman is seeing a difficult sales.. then he runs to the sales manager.. AL al says I can’t do it.. its to low.. that is to bad.. I had the cash.. right here.. I guess I will have to wait..
high risk car lots work this way.. get an idea what you are looking at.. the spec’s.. etc.. then go to your banker.. find out what low medium ( average sale) and high price is.. a car looses fifty percent of its value.. the salesmen will guide a single woman or man to the most expensive car on the lot.. a caddy or mercedes .. a person that buys one in those luxury car brands does so for status symbol.. I could have had a four year old bentley that sold for over a quarter million four years earlier.. that had twenty four thousand actual miles on it for fifteen grand.. they can’t give them away.. so they target single women then tell them.. dam you would look good in that..
once you find out what the trade in value is.. or low sale.. then you offer less than that.. the car lots go to auctions.. my daughter bought a new car not even a year old that supposedly came off of a lease.. I did the unthinkable and co signed for her.. a week later.. we find out the thing was in a horrible accident.. it was a death trap on wheels.. the average guy doesn’t see it.. so.. they lied.. and of course arbitrary lawyers are all hired by the auto dealers.. yes.. luckily I was taking care of a really top guy whose son was a really big lawyer.. I went and asked him.. he said.. I can’t handle it for you.. but you take really good care of dad and I am going to get you the help you need.. he found me the ONE lawyer that wasn’t under contract with the auto dealers.. they said.. PROVE IT… well I had over six hundred photos.. etc.. but no accident reports.. we found the accident report in a big city the car had been totalled out not once but twice in nine months.. and it sold to them for fifty bucks at an auction.. it is a big thing really big thing.. they buy outside the area its to be sold then they don’t have to disclose the damage .. the disclosure of damage is so they can get it cheaper.. today I get a car.. ( except for the buggy.. the guy sold me the buggy for two hundred use to be my mechanic that I would go to for advice I have put over a quarter million miles on the buggy.. ) the high risk places get cars sell them for a ten times their value or more and you cannot do a thing about it.. so offer low till you get to average trade.. they got it cheaper.. If they argue or counter offer.. walk away.. If you start walking the guy will change his mind before you hit the door.. if not keep walking.. if you really want it.. then have someone else go get it..

    • Oh.. because of what happened with my daughter and what the lawyer told us.. any USED car.. before it is purchased goes to my mechanic, a body shop, and a transmission shop to be checked… if they say no.. then I don’t even consider it an option.. they do some pretty sneaky crap.. having someone check it out is worth the money.. take the salesman with you.. best couple hundred you will ever spend…

    • Easiest place to find “honest” auto dealers for the second hand stuff imo is in the smaller towns (under 10,000, idealy in the 5000 range)

For smaller town second hand dealers take a look at their feedback from LOCAL customers and HOW LONG they have been selling cars there. Hard to get away with pulling shit on people and stay in business in a small market area, they HAVE to be honest. If they have been around for 15 years and the feedback on the various websites from LOCAL people is virtually all GOOD, then you at least have an honest dealer you are working with.

City sellers are often, but not always, scammers. Again look at one who is a lower volume place that has been doing business for 20+- years and when you check out their feedback reports on the various sites check for people who say they are REPEAT customers!!

There is one local lot here that I have bought from twice, once for me once for one of my sons … honest as can be, and everything was as represented. Both of those vehicles held up for 150,000+ miles after I bought them before I sold them with NO major repairs required, though my son did eventually replace the clutch plate in the stick shift while he owned it (he sold it to a friend and the last I heard that vehicle, a Saturn SW2, was still running OK though burning some oil and now had 350,000 miles on it).

My philosophy in business matches my car buying system. I ONLY will deal with people who are HONEST.

I have walked away from any business deals where I question the complete and total honesty of the person or company on the other side, including once for a company that would have paid me $500,000+- for some work because after I talked to him a couple of times I didn’t trust their owner. For the last 40 years I doubt I have had more than 5 or 6 written contracts … everything is one’s word, and sometimes the amounts I am paid have hit in the 6 figures, and none of those higher paying ones were even done with a written contract.

      • The Saturn S-Series is probably the most reliable and economical long lived cars ever made in America, on average. The twin cam(SL-2, SC-2, and SW-2) are a bit better than the single cam versions, even though the matched transmissions are close ratio, but both engines(1.9L) have extraordinary reliability and longevity. I have one with 371K miles on it and it’s a daily driver on high speed roads. The body is plastic and always looks good. Just fill the oil and check the gas. They all use a bit of oil, and that’s a lot cheaper than a new crank and bearings.

        • Late 80’s Geo Prizm’s were a cheaper way to buy a Toyota Corolla as I recall. Rented one when I lost the timing belt in my Subaru way out in the desert past Barstow. I was impressed with it.

        • Mike:

I always kinda liked the SL-2 because with a stick, it’d get considerably north of 40mpg. Saturn was created by GM as a completely independent motor company. AFAIK they shared zero parts with any Generous Motors vehicle. Sans Obama, they’d still be around…
          _______

WCD: “Late 80’s Geo Prizm’s were a cheaper way to buy a Toyota Corolla”

          They were.

The Geo Prizm (Toyota Corolla), and the Geo Tracker (Suzuki Samurai) and Geo Metro (Suzuki Swift) were a joint venture between GM and Toyota, and GM and Suzuki, respectively. IIRC the Geo “factory” was located in SoCal. Generous Motors employees called all of them “Toylets…” Some years back I built a Corolla for a kid and acquired a Prizm as a parts car. The Toy had the last engine I ever built, ground-up. The Prizm had the last real glass factory headlights I ever saw in a US-market automobile. Before I was done, they went in the Corolla…

  10. hmm.. which is it G? are you using o365 or are you using Outlook as a mail client to connect to your own hosted mail server on CenturyLink? you seem to mention both but both works differently.

    • ie, in Outlook are you using pop3/imap to CenturyLink hosted email servers or Outlook anywhere settings to o365 Microsoft hosted email?

      • I have a similar problem. I use Outlook on my PC (W10) to receive and organize my Comcast emails and emails are frequently stuck in the Outbox, plus incoming slow to download. Turning off my VPN temporarily helps, but then the problem recurs as Stephen 2 mentions re: “Dynamic IP”. :(

  11. Mark Middleton, 59, who served in the Clinton White House in the 1990s, was found dead on Heifer Ranch in Perryville, Arkansas on May 2, 2022, the Daily Mail reported.

Almost one year after Middleton’s death, a police report obtained by the Outlet this week revealed that the Little Rock businessman was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest and an extension cord tying his neck to a tree.

No weapon was found at the scene. Middleton had signed Epstein into the White House 17 times.

  12. Re: Living on the Edge
    feat. Dora the Explorer

    Folks,

Word out from The Academy is that a “crisis team” will be in place at next month’s Oscar ceremony awards. The team is tasked with responding “that night” should anything out of the ordinary occur. Back in the day, didn’t we used to see burly folk in t-shirts embossed “Security” restricting stage access?

An interesting aspect of “The NY Post” story about the Heifner Ranch 2022 event in Arkansas is it is drawn from the UK’s “Daily Mail”.

    • Folks,

Six years after the new-owner billionaire son-in-law of the president of Kazakhstan allowed the marital home of his goose hunting friend prince Andrew and Fergie to deteriorate to the point of requiring demolition due bats in the belfry, the former inhabitants of “SouthYork” appear headed to Mayfair. “The Sun” is reporting that the duke of york may be seeking shelter with Lady Sarah in her newly refurbished Belgravia townhouse should the King evict his younger brother from the 30 room Royal Lodge at Windsor by the end of April. The townhouse suited to a gentlewoman of lessened means materialized into her possession last year upon a £5 million cash payment to the Duke of Westminster, one of the wealthiest men in the UK. By coincidence he is also the godfather of the King’s eldest grandson.

Meanwhile all must be gladdened in the New World to learn that President Biden has nominated a candidate to head the World Bank. Apparently applications are open until March 29th should anyone else wish to apply.

  13. “Quality of Life (measured by how much you can buy out of consumer discretionary after all the bills are paid) is heading down. Unless you’re too dumb to notice.”

think about this..there was a change in taxes… sr. and jr. recalculated how taxes were deducted..their taxes didn’t change but how it was removed from paychecks changed..giving everyone an extra five bucks..
in the social classes that spend money.. it was gone..became part of the spending budget..
the administration bragged about equalling the tax base.. by increasing the taxes of the very wealthy.. under the Biden administration the tax laws now have close to 8 million words.. up just about ten percent..what was removed affects mainly those on fixed incomes and the poorest..
just like delivering pizzas to the wealthiest neighborhoods.. they don’t tip they demand..the reason is OPM.. ( other peoples money)
by making these cuts and adding more to the top of the tower..the base is weakened.. those that spend can’t if they don’t have it to spend.. the base keeps the tower strong.. the trickle up..older industrialists knew that.. their workers were family.. A good employer has little or no turn over..the higher the turnovers the less job security there is..only top percentage is benefited.. five minutes in a coffee lunchroom or at the plant hangout will tell you what’s wrong..

  14. I was driving in the farthest left lane of a 3 lane road. I saw a man on the medial strip hop upwards. I thought it was odd as I watched him walk away . Suddenly there was a skateboard moving across the lane in front of me. if I moved to my right I would have hit another car. If I slammed on my brakes the guy behind me would have rear ended me. I ran over the damn skateboard . So did the guy behind me. This was done deliberately. Mean spirited. Now I have to have my car checked for damage and repaired. This was a man, not a kid.

It’s hard to see everything that is a danger.

    • was he standing by a bush?

I found a skateboard, by a bush a while back. nobody around. same exact skateboard as the one in that video “prayer in C”. nobody around for miles. just laying there.

about a month ago I started mentoring a kid and one day he shows up dressed just like the kid in that music video prayer in C which as a day of the dead theme, so I gave it to him, because he looks like exactly like the kid in the video and the skateboard is the same exact one in that video the kid who looks like him rides.

strange as life is. that is how it is. haha. the kid I give the board to, does an Ali while riding it and falls into a Cadillac and on thr ground. like the kid in video does, just like the kid in that video, except he doesn’t have his face painted. wearing the same exact clothes, looking exactly like the kid, using the same exact skateboard.

and I think. huh okay cool. not sure what that means. but there it is.

      here is the sequence:

I’m on a country road, miles from any house or person. nobody on that road but me.. i stop to pee on the side if the road
find a skateboard sitting by a bush. brand new one. I throw it in my trunk. say, ok DUDE, got the skateboard. not sure what for.

2 months later a song comes on the radio. prayer in C. never heard it before. so I look it up. watch the video and notice that the same exact skateboard in the video is in my trunk of my car one of the dudes is riding. same exact skateboard. trippy. okay DUDE, so I got the skateboard and it’s the same as in that video. what now?

2 months later I start mentoring a kid. I said meet me at such and such place. let’s talk.

he shows up dressed exactly like the dude in the prayer in C video. same hat, shoes, shirt, all that. even looks like him. and I think. ok DUDE, the skateboard goes to him. I get it. so I say, I got something for you. I pull out the skateboard and hand it to him. he says cooool. I love riding skateboards! can I take it for a spin real quick? I said yeah please do. you can have it. I’ve been wondering who to give it to. it’s for you.

so he rides it around the parking lot, does an alie kick and sorta bumbles it and bounces off a cadi. just like the guy in that prayer in C video. exactly like the guy in that prayer in C video minus the day of the dead face paint.

and i think, huh, not sure what to think about that. but there it is. exact match as that video. but i found the skateboard prior to hearing the song. and seeing the video.

and now your running over a skateboard. without a rider.

      huh.

seeing that kid again tonight. maybe i should warn him about you. hahahhahahaha. or tell him not to ride his skateboard…

      hmmmmmmmm…

      say……,

what is the name of the road you were on?

I will tell him, don’t ride your skateboard on such and such road or you will get run over.

and say call it a hunch.

he is a good kid. i don’t want him to get run over.

      • yeah, what road?

        I will tell him.

Don’t ride that skateboard on the day of the dead November 2cd, on this road.

        save his life.

        thanks in advance Eleanor!

see alot of times people (including myself) think what is this stupid shit? what is the point? but in reality, it’s a key puzzle piece to knowing and changing the future.

haha. cool. thanks for sharing with the rest of the class Eleanor.

mahaps saved a young man’s life. and when one person who could have died, but didn’t, goes on to live a full life? it changes the entire world and everything in it.

        :)

    • wow, Eleanor. you experienced the future. that is so cool.

I’m glad you are okay. but you experienced the future.

I know most people have a hard time understanding me. but you experienced the future in what you wrote.

George and I and a few others on here experience it all the time. I do, all the time. it’s commonly referred to as “Cosmic Consciousness”.

it’s the al·tru·is·tic plane of existence.

it’s a different layer of consciousness from that of a plant and a cat. a plant is not self aware, but it is a living thing and must have a rudimentary layer of consciousness. and cat is self aware to a degree but not to the degree of a human level of consciousness. and someone such as yourself in your experience with the skateboard is moving into what is commonly referred to as Cosmic Consciousness. comparatively a human consciousness and someone exhibiting Cosmic consciousness is like a self aware human, being like a plant next to a human, relatively speaking.

that is very cool. very cool.

you saw the future. you saw a skateboard rider with no rider. and altered the path of an individual who should have been on a skateboard and got hit by a car, on November 2cd. and now he is not getting hit by a car on that date.

not only did you see it. you experienced it before it happens. you experienced the alternative expression of the future.

      that is cool. so cool.

i know that is hard to wrap your mind around. for most. it is for me at times too. and I experience it all the time. all the time. because sometimes I’m a plant and sometimes I’m in the realm of the God’s.

hmmmmmmm. thank you Eleanor. I appreciate you. truly.

    • George invented a term for it back in 2009 ish. I can’t exactly remember it but I can remember lines from songs I haven’t heard in years.

what was the term George? hyperchronus? something like that. and he gave a couple examples. like a guy driving on the road and looks at the clock in the car and it says 12pm, noon. he looks at the odometer and it says 43,000 mikes. drives 3 miles down the road looking at the horizon, day dreaming then looks at the clock again and it now says 11: 55. he looks at the odometer and it now says 43,003 miles.

now he knows h3 traveled 3 miles. and he knows he looked at the clock and it say 12pm. and he knows he is traveling at 60 mph down the road. but some how in his day dream he traveled 5 minutes back in time.

and he coined a new term which I can not remember at the moment. made up a word. I think it was “hyperchronus” or something like that.

George gives another example (this was back before we comment)

about a man goes to the grocery store. looks at his watch. 230pm. walks in the store, gets some groceries, pays the cashier, goes out to his car, unloads the groceries, puts the cart in the cart return, looks up at the sky and thinks shit I best check the time. looks at his watch and it’s now 130pm.

he knows he went in the store and was in there a while. some how between when he looked at his watch, did all that he did he went back in time an hour. not forward in time like most people sense. and he senses he went forward in time. but he didn’t. he traveled back in time not just an hour. but all the time he was in the store as well. the man shakes it off as just oh I must have read my watch wrong. and goes about his day.

if memory serves, George said he suspects this happens quite often. most just shrug it off and pay attention to it.

      hypochronism. something like that.

when I notice how all these links fit together, skateboard, song, visual representation, the kid and the car and being an identical match. not sure what to make of it, then along Eleanor shares a frustrating story, which links with my weird stuff, fits quite nicely, actually.

it reminds me of what George talked about back in the day. but I can’t remember the term he coined for it. similar in sequence order just moving forward in experiencing time prior to event.

like the canyon example about time and causality.

the canyon represents a river of time. a man stands in the middle and yells, “heeloooooooooo!” the man represents an event. his yelling hello! moves through the canyon aka *river of time.

now those people who are entering the canyon will hear the “hello” aka *echo, aka *effect, BEFORE they travel through the canyon aka* river of time, to the the man, aka *event, aka* cause.

and those who have already traveled through the canyon, *aka river of time and have seen the man aka *event, *aka cause will hear the “hello” aka* echo, aka*effect , afterwards.

so what I think you saw Eleanor is the effect before the cause. I. the distant future as it relates to November 2cd. or echo prior to the event. and the event has changed. altering the steam of time.

In a forward motion “hyperchronustic” sort of way.

I swear. I can remember everything under the sun. but for the life of me I can’t remember that term that George used with those examples. back in 2009 ish. maybe a little later. but I distinctly remember the topic.

pretty dang cool, if you ask me. the echo before the cause. but the original cause has been altered to my understanding.

      hmmmm

okay time to get in the shower and go look normal.

I’m very interested in the name of the road you were on. very interested in that.

        • yes! that is it George! I knew it was something like that.

it is my understanding Eleanor experienced a sort of hyperchon effect.

          as the data suggests.

the echo prior to the event as a it relates to November 2cd.

with an exception, the event or “cause” has been altered.

where there was a rider on a skateboard, there is now just a skateboard.

the canyon or stream of time has not been altered but the event in the future has been.

          that is my understanding.

all these things, are like words. words are labels for things. they are not the actual thing they language of the thing. so the skateboard board and the rider and the crash into the car on the thr day of the dead, November 2 are abstract lables of an event that day. which has been altered. because the echo that Eleonora saw prior to the cause in the stream of time, has…. changed.

hope all that makes sense. at times, my mind can comprehend stuff that makes it hard to put into a descriptive language.

sure would be interesting to know the name of the road she is on. as a clue to which event in the future has been altered prior to its arrival as we get closer to the event and hear the echos or effects prior to it.

          pretty cool stuff, eh George?

that is real time monk stuff, right there. I love that stuff. I mostly don’t say much about it. I live it.

          correction,

ftr: the event on November 2cd has been altered not the stream of time.

I made an error in communicating when I said the stream of time has been altered. it is the event that has been altered.

it seems at face value, a man on skateboard getting hit by a car, in a crash is more emotionally impacting than a skateboard just hitting a car.

again the skateboard, and the man, and the moving car are all labels or attributes of a real dynamic event scheduled for November 2cnd. probably metaphorical representations.

like the saying. “wall street just got ran over by a mack truck today. it was a blood bath.”

not really did a mack truck drive through the trade floor and kill a bunch of people in a bloody mess. but actually there was a big sell off and alot of people lost money.

the skateboard, the fella and the car and the crash is metaphorical labels *effects, *echos of the actual event aka cause on November 2cd.

if that makes sense. God I hope that makes sense. I can understand it in my brain. but I’m not good at the moment of converting it into words. hahahaha

once again Eleanor, thank you for sharing that. welcome to the future!

          much obliged.

        • one the big questions I’ve had for a long time George is seeing Events before they happen, but lacking the power to change them. especially when I feeling a giant emotional finger print when I see them.

I used to tell God alot, what good is it to see it coming and not be able to alter it. I’ve prayed and tried everything I could think of to alter events I could see but couldn’t change or stop them from happening. it’s super frustrating and sad. used to drive me crazy. it doesn’t do me any good to know there is going to massive earthquake in the future in some place and a bunch of people die and I can’t do anything about it. when it doesn’t directly affect me. and who is going to listen to some unknown roughneck in the woods.

soooooo I been working with that. seeing how subtle changes in things can alter future events.

what this tells me. is future events can be altered. it’s really good.

I can recognize the one thing missing from a young man wearing the same exact outfit on the same exact skateboard doing the same exact thing as in a video about doom pray in c is a song about the end of the world, but he is missing one thing. the face paint commonly wore on the day of dead. November 2cnd. so the one thing missing tells me the date. and it reveals these things are in motion.

echos before the event. effects prior to the cause. as i travel
forward through the stream of time. the date missing means it’s also future tense. not past tense. as echos or effects after the event or cause.

so when I read Eleanors description of the effects prior to the cause and its altered, that means it can be altered. i can see events prior them manifesting or effects prior to the cause and alter the cause. because this proves it can be done.

and because the Mandela effect is true. that means events or causes are being altered in the past. and changing the present.

I know I’ve spoke of the lattice matrices of time. tesla 3,6,9 model of the universe.

3: past past, past present, past future
6: present past, present present, present future.
9: future past, future present, future future.

there a subtle restructuring of causes within the lattice matrices of “time” as experienced by consciousness through sensory establishes its boundaries with phenomenal reality. consciousness is a collective of proto-gstal which develops the archetypes within the 3,6, 9 model to know itself as it relates to phenomenal reality.

simply put. we can alter causes prior to them, through subtle changes like a girl wearing red heels verses purple crocks with a palm tree on one, on stage, and through the butterfly effect, that alters an event or cause prior to its manifesting on predetermined intersection or convergence if you will.

          pretty cool. very cool.

what I meant about the Hyperchron effects, Is the examples you gave back in the day George, were references to timetraveling back in time while sensory and memory dictates you move forward in time. however, that is not the only direction you can time travel. you can move forward, if you couldn’t? it would be impossible to see the future before unfolds and the echos or effects would always be past tense or after the event. but as the canyon example shows us, that is not how time works as it relates to causality. we definitely see the effects prior the event. if we didn’t we couldn’t even do simple things tie our shoes or make a phone call.

events in the future can be altered prior to them happening. yes I know your screen shoting my words prior to writing them. lol. my mind notices the captures when you make them. I see the “Cue marks” in old movies. lol it a quick blink, someone took a picture while I’m writing of what I’m writing.

not saying you George. but someone is screen shooting my messages as I write them. and I’ve let it go on for some time before I said anything about it.

          probably Nsa or something. LOL.

the thing is. I didn’t know it was possible to alter future events. but it is. I knew there had to be a way. I’m glad there is a way.

the only other question I have is, if you alter events before they happen? does that stack the emotional values to a tipping point.

is there an emotional wave count that eventually must be released and if you alter enough events does that place a tsunami of emotional values stacked in a cause out there in the abstract unfolding potential to be released at some point further down the stream of time.

or does it just devolves those emotional values into oblivion?

I don’t know. but I do know, events or causes can be altered, by understanding their echos or effects prior them manifesting of covering in an intersection is a better description because there several moving parts. a human, a skateboard, a car, etc etc. all converging metaphorically at the predetermined intersection of November 2cd. except now the man is not on the skate bord. he is on the side of the road. less emotional intensity value. except Eleanor is a little pissed. better than a dead man, tho. less emotional impacting. less far reaching and less changing sequence of events following had a man been on the skateboard been hit by the car. that would create a whole bunch of series of alternative events.

again my experience is the man, the skateboard and the car itself are metaphorical. like someone saying in the news, “wall street just got ran over by a mack truck, it’s a blood bath.” doesn’t actually mean a mack drove through the trading floor and ran over a bunch of people and they all have to go to the hospital. its just a figure of speech, relaying the big sell of and lots of people loosing money.

hopefully the street Eleanor saw this on will give information as to the event or causes locality for November 2cd. hope so.

for me, cali has been delayed. just got called. DUDE must have something else in mind. delayed doesn’t mean denial, as my mother used to say.

which has me wondering if altering events prior to them happening is safe to do so. completely “cleansing” events or causes prior to them happening so they don’t converge and intersect, could be dangerous. because eventually they will manifest in some form in a more emotionally impacting converging intersection or coalesce and group together.

subtle movements. subtle changes. because time and reality are plastic. or Malable future events must be also be Malable.

sorry so long. Thinking out loud. hmmmmmmm. that is cool that future events can be altered. big answer to a long question, I’ve had.

that is enough for me for a while. I look forward to finding out which Eleanor was on. hopefully not main stream. or Mlk Blvd or anything like that. because main street means working class people and MLK would mean an event surrounding race again. a numbered street would represent more than likely a GPS.

          that has been my experience.

        • uhhhh yeah. about that. uhmmm

forgot myself a minute there uhhh

uhmmm uhhh banging hot chick’s, fast cars, chewing tobacco uhem gruntting big truck, rock and roll and big sacks of money.

  17. Yes, it was reported officially documented as a suicide. (right, sure it was… no gun found at the scene, neck tied to a tree, gunshot wound to the chest… suicide.)

    • I wonder, who gave the order to “officially document” the death as a suicide?

      Who?

      Enquiring minds want to know…

      • Interestingly, shortly after that story with its implications hit the wire, Bill Clinton surfaced and said, oh, yes, there was a gun. Then the sheriff found a second report by another deputy who found the gun about 30′ away and downhill from the corpse.
        Gee, wasn’t that nice timing?

  18. “Which did work – until the next reboot and then it doesn’t work again. ”

Probably because with StarLink you have a Dynamic IP vs. a Static IP and by rebooting you got assigned a NEW IP by StarLink which cleared out MS’s knowledge that it was really YOU.

(remember with ViaSat the satellite is NEVER CHANGING, it is always the same and probably has a static IP address – with StarLink the satellites are forever changing, ie: thus most likely a dynamic IP address everytime you log in – check it and see)

The web based Outlook by it’s very nature probably assumes that Dynamic IP’s are the name of the game since many time the connections that it would be working through would be changing (people on the “go” working here, then there, etc.) so it is in their basic programming code to IGNORE the IP and look to the Device Identifier instead. (Google’s Mail now needs an additional confirmation step if either the IP or Device ID changes … usually it is a code sent through your cell phone – drives me batty when I am traveling and try to log into my Google Mail)

A system that requires a confirmation of BOTH, an IP that is confirmed to being a KNOWN historic IP for your Outlook PLUS the Device Identifier is going to be more secure … which to a non nerd computer mind (me) is why for your Outlook Office is NOT logging you on UNTIL Microsoft can somehow confirm that the IP you are using is an A-OK place to use for your Windows 365 Outlook email purposes. ie: doing the web based Log On which IGNORES the IP address dynamic and only looks at the device identifier dynamic

From Microsoft’s perspective it is NOT a flaw in the system, but a more secure way to make sure that people can’t fake being you by requiring a KNOWN IP address before it will allow the email to connect through.

Because of that I doubt Microsoft is going to change it’s system since overall it would make their system much more hackable for others and make it it MUCH easier for people to impersonate you for getting into their computers and hacking your email.

Gmail is WORSE when it comes to using when changing IP’s in my experience, so that is probably NOT an option.

    • Gmail, Outlook/Hotmail, and Yahoo are probably the three least desirable email addy’s to have. All three are datamining you your machine, and offer nothing in the way of encryption or real security.

They’re good for throwaway addy’s, but that’s about it.

    • Here you go … YEP, Starlink IP addresses are DYNAMIC … NOT STATIC.

Every time you log out of Starlink and then log back in you have a DIFFERENT IP address (if this information from Starlink is accurate).

Your 365 Outlook is probably checking the IP address and is refusing to connect since the fact that it changed makes the connection suspicious to it (I run into problems when traveling when I try to log into my MS Hotmail account from a different IP location, but can work around it. With Gmail if I am out of cell phone range which they insist on sending a confirmation code to I am just HOSED, no way I can get into my Gmail account – at least NO way I have found)

“By default, Starlink automatically assigns each customer a dynamic IP address. Some customers may have a need for a static IP address. Typically, these are customers needing to use a VPN to reliably and securely connect to remote servers. The average home internet user doesn’t require a static IP.Sep 25, 2022”

      https://www.starlinkhardware.com/can-you-get-a-static-ip-from-starlink/#:~:text=By%20default%2C%20Starlink%20automatically%20assigns,t%20require%20a%20static%20IP.

      • I bet if you can get Starlink to give you a STATIC IP address your problem would be solved.

Over the last couple of years the email systems I use have ALL really tightened down their security on being able to get into your email account. It is a PITA sometimes now, but I know why they have done it – all the account spoofing and email account raiding going on.

When out of the country Gmail has been my “GO TO” system since it does NOT have my main office or personal accounts on it and if those Gmail accounts are hacked NO Big Deal (though was still a PITA when I was staying at the Chateau Frontenac in Quebec City using the hotel’s WIRED system, NOT WiFi, and they STILL got those accounts… but with Gmail now REQUIRING being able to receive an authorization code sent to a cell phone by SMS if EITHER the IP changes OR the Device changes I don’t think that will work in the future. (fwiw when traveling OUT of the country I do NOT use my regular cell phone, always pick up a burner to use so NO WAY I could receive an SMS sent by Gmail to my regular cell phone)

China- The Hang Seng – Japan the Nikkei, London the FTSE, NASDAQ, S&P500, Wilshire 5000, Schwab Large-Cap Growth, Schwab Small Cap index, Russell 2000, and the Treasury 10 year yield bottom on Feb 1st. ., and the dollar bottom on Feb 1st also. [ The Dow Jones didn’t, it took another 10-12 days., but has since caught-up.]

  22. I have been an Apple fan forever… simply because they are NOT Microsoft. But even Apple is now an ‘in house’ prison. But it mostly works. I got the cheap laptop with W11… it wouldn’t even let me start the laptop to try to install Linux until I hopped thru all the MSFT hoops to start it up, sign in to their cloud, etc. Stuff I will never use and abandon.

    • But I guarantee it won’t abandon you! No doubt, that sign-in to the cloud with your info is kept deep inside your Win-11 installation. What it does when you’re not looking is anyone’s guess.

In order of frequency of use. These are the BIOS codes which allow you to access your computer’s CMOS Setup.

With newer computers, it is common for the CMOS Setup to default to a “Boot only from Drive 0” setting (“Drive 0” is the first physical hard drive in the computer — commonly called “C:\”). This setting should be found and changed to allow the computer to boot from an optical drive (CD or DVD) and to allow it to boot from a USB drive, unless security dictates it not do so. Only when a reader is an active spook asset is it likely a CD-ROM or thumbdrive boot will ever be an issue.

On BIOS’ where a “boot order” must be specified (Like most American Megatrends), arrange the boot order as:

      USB Drive,
      CDROM,
      Hard Drive.

The computer will now boot from a thumbdrive if a bootable drive is in an active USB slot. If one has burned, say, Debian Astro, or Design, or Hamradio, possibly on three different thumbdrives, they can then play with whichever their heart desires, at that moment…

  24. Hi George,
Hopefully you have Linux installed as a second operating system on your PC by now–
If so, get the ClamAv antivirus package on Linux, It is free (of course!), and slow as molasses, but you can use it to detect Trojans on the Windows side that (in my case) went undetected by MalwareBytes.

If you pay for Codeweavers Crossover (Linux Software), you can use it to run Windows programs under Linux– It ran Dragon Naturally Speaking 9, last time I checked. They will let you download and test drive it for free, about $40.00 for the license if you want to keep using it.
Also, InkScape is a very full featured graphics program in Linux. Might be time to make the leap to Linux….

  25. “Tech Help Needed

…EXCEPT that when I try to send email, I have to drop back to a different internet connection/network. I usually drop back to my ViaSat link.

Because if I don’t, Outlook (Office365) just leaves crap in the Outbox and won’t send it. As soon as I drop off Starlink, onto ViaSat, the send/rx works and mail goes out fine.”

You have probably noticed that I receive E-Mail from you at the addy I’ve had since 1992, but when I send you an E-Mail, it always comes from my Gmail account.

    This same issue is why.

I haven’t had an E-Mail escape my outbox and make it to its destination in nearly 15 years. I can use my mail provider’s Web interface to send and receive, but I can not use a client unless I use a dialup connection. Redmond believes they need not pay attention to Internet standards — not even the ones they are instrumental in creating.

    • Now something I DO wonder about:

If you do a clean load, will Outlook negotiate properly?

‘Next time you reload your system, you might just check this out to see whether MS tech support is on the level or full of it…

    • I’ve been having similar problems with Thunderbird in recent months, and at times, have had to use the web interface to get outgoing emails to fly, or even to read incoming. I am suspicious that the service providers’ security protocols may be an issue. After I use the web interface, the problems on the home PC seem to go away, for a while at least. I have changed passwords a couple of times, with no change in symptoms. Puzzling.

  26. Two George’s, let’s connect the dots, shall we?

George Gammon’s stream cutoff when talking about Pfizer.

  27. “Courts, looks to us like, have become unable or unwilling to keep criminals off the street. Soros agenda.”

I believe it all depends on who it is….
if its someone that’s deemed untouchable then its overlooked and covered over everyone will tell you how wonderful it is as they paint the picture of honor and ethical standards of the ones involved.. there’s always been the double standards..its just more out in the open and bragged about now..
take the computer files on Weiners laptop.. disposed of..or hidden away with thousands of emails.. the one that did disclose emails is safely in prison on suicide watch.
the video that a pedophile in Canada that was extradited to the USA released to the general public.. now removed from general view ( I believe the video was called frazzledrip … oh of those investigators that seen the video on weiners file marked life insurance of the 12 how many committed suicide or was killed accidentally ) All the news of the extradited pedo vanished and the video Buried and vanished off of the general web as well..
then you have the laptop from hell..same thing so much alleged illegal activities all buried..the what 6 or 10 porn accounts with way more on it..cleaned up..all of the pervs videos closed off from general view.
illegal stock trading, accepting gifts and vacations , lucrative jobs.. free college , and loan forgiveness.. the list of alleged activities is so long .. none of it will ever go to trial those that say their against the dual standards are strangely quiet… if it was anyone else outside the circle of endearment it would be quite another story.
those committing suicide are disposable as the cleanup continues. those that think they are safe will also be cleaned up as the circle closes.
you’ll hear a few hundred times today on network television about January 6th. as protesters marched at the capital.. but not one word about the terrorism that was done by BLM and Antifa.. that did billions in damage, destroyed public and private property. pillaging violence.. and much more that put our nations most vulnerable in higher risk of violence and crime. you won’t hear a word about the illegals crossing the borders by the tens of thousands either.. The justice system is all about who is involved in those activities.
if the bible and most ratings are correct..this is only going to get worse..

  28. TV antenna info (for LOOB in case he want to give it a try)

Antenna Man’s recommendation for long distance antenna
(fwiw he thinks Televes generally currently makes THE BEST antennas for long distance TV reception though a couple of others are in the mix)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C7L1k9dAqGs

In addition in this group of videos he talks about signal amplifiers (preamps and distribution amps)
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wSuBS1OgtFE
    also
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oGHgQE3ztNU

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1WK4y2AZXl8

How high should you install your antenna
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rknjzTq70Kg

For information wrt antennas, amplifiers, coax, etc. etc. for “Over The Air” systems the “Antenna Man” on YouTube is imo the absolute BEST unbiased source of information out there (unlike written publications which usually are being paid by the various manufacturers).

His recommended antennas list of long distance antennas
(one model of the Televes has a built in at antenna Pre-Amp, an add on for the other antennas)
    https://www.amazon.com/shop/antennaman/list/2LH365VAPDKLC?ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d

    • wow thanks for sharing that…. I will try that antenna.. I already have the signal amps.. the cable company there are two of us on the line.. so for them to up the signal through the line the money isn’t there for it..
When I tried an antenna before.. I bought the signal amps.. for that.. I have to have a signal amp for the cell phone to.. everything bounces over our heads.. the electric company has microwave television.. but when they came out and checked couldn’t get enough signal to get anything with..
I will try the new antenna though.. I thought for sure the new digital antennas would work.. but it didn’t if this works.. I will use it..

      • ‘Thing about amps is, unless you buy quality and know how to use them, they amplify the noise along with the signal.

    • I would give the antenna guy mixed reviews. He is definitely a Televes shill. His labeling of low VHF channels as “trash channels” is more urban European silliness than technical fact. The reallocation of the lower VHF channels didn’t benefit fringe off-air TV viewers.
Locally, all the low band VHF channels have been gone for some time. and I have been considering trying a Televes in the attic. My current set-up is a Winegard HD7698P on a self-supporting tower, with a long cable run to the house.
The integral pass-through Televes amplifier looks good; however, I am unsure how it will survive in a moderate to severe lightning EMP environment. I blow the on-antenna circuit board on the Winegard roughly every 3 to 4 years. I have two amps (one on the antenna, plus a distribution amp at the TV) , and way too many surge protection devices and ferrites to try and keep the VHF EMP at bay. I accept the loss of a $25 circuit board periodically, as opposed to having to replace a TV or external tuner.
I suppose the only way to know is to try it out. Recently the local Fox affiliate station made some change that makes their station invisible to my antenna. I can still stream it, but I would really like to get it off air. The attic installation would be useful in my Fox hunt.

      • The last link listed four different long distance antennas that he recommends, though of those 3 require you to add the AT ANTENNA pre-amp yourself (which for lighting purposes might be a good thing to consider), the Televes does not since it is built into the antenna.

In his other reviews he does review several ON ANTENNA pre-amps but as “n” noted you definitely want a good quality one so it is not amplifying noise too so I would recommend you pay attention to the ones he has tested and recommends.

Yep … he like Televes, but he also recommends Channel Master and Winegard antennas too.

OH … and from his location in the Lehigh valley to get the Philly TV stations one has to go over the hills since that area IS a pretty deep valley, so he may have been dealing with the same sort of situation that you are LOOP

OH OH the new TV broadcast standard ATSC 3.0 (called “NexGen” by the TV broadcasters) is reported to do a much better job of getting a signal into difficult locations and going out a further distance. (it will NOT be a mandatory transition for broadcasters unlike the last switch … so the current ATSC 1.0 TV’s, most of what is sold, should work for a long long time) That new broadcast standard requires a new receiver/decoder, either an add on receiver/decoder that you then plug into your HDMI port, or a new TV that has it built in and the signals are currently only available on a spotty basis around the US, mostly the mid size cities (here ABC, NBC, WB, FOX with their subchannels are available via it but the CBS station and it’s subchannels is not). The biggest cities such as NYC, Chicago, LA etc. don’t yet have a single station using the new standard. There are currently only a couple of stand alone receiver/decoder boxes currently available that you can buy, plus another one just hitting the market now, so this standard is still in the “Early Adopter” phase. There have been some early teething issues with the first set of receiver/decoder boxes but it appears those are now mostly cleared up.

Best of luck … (and if you use the website he recommends and put in your address it will tell you your most likely signal strength for each station and the distance and magnetic direction to the broadcast tower)

        • One final observation:

The receiver units of different TV brands have different sensitivities. NONE of the TV ratings sites measure the built in TV receiver sensitivity and ability to reject interference.

The general consensus in the blog world is that Samsung has THE BEST built in TV receivers and can pick up signals that other brands can NOT.

Sony has THE WORST built in TV receivers, complaints all over the place about them.

LG and Vizio are WAY above Sony but below Samsung … and the other brands are at various levels below Samsung LG/Vizio but above Sony.

Do your own research in this realm but when I was last buying I researched researched researched and could NOT find a single TV rating site that actually measured the TV receivers of the TVs they were rating.

  29. OMG – just use a Mac

Oh wait, there is no software that works with them –
    Oh wait, it’s NOT 1985!!

I’m 73 and have used Mac’s since the day they intro’d in 1984.
Ever since, I’ve encouraged “dark side” users to convert and in 2023 to the win (x) users I’ll highly suggest leave and come into the light – get a Mac!!
    Cheers

    • You DO know MacOS has been written by Microsoft, and Apple hasn’t used a Motorola CPU, in nearly 20 years, right?

That “Mac” of yours is just another “Wintel” box, but with an “i” on its label…
