After Queen: A Prescient Dreams Discussion

Business first as a continuation of our sluggish-to-begin rally finally dug-in Thursday.

The picture from here still leaves open a Wave 2(5) run back to the overhead resistance trend line.

IF we are in the early slog of Wave 3 down (a minor (ii) rally in play now), then using those Elliott and Fibonacci numbers laid out in the Thursday column, we come up with targets that MIGHT look like this.

The closing Aggregate yesterday was 33,718.41 with early futures pointing to 34,055.77. Add on 200-points, or so, and it would be a picture-pretty 50 percent retracement.  (There are days, I tell you, when renaming UrbanSurvival as SoothsayerEconomics does make marketing sense…)

Queen, Dreams, Souls

With the passing of the Queen Thursday, the world will be treated to another media spectacle shortly – rites of coronation.

Which really amazes us no end.  America cast-off the poorly shared power notions of monarchy long ago.  Yet – and fuzzy on the WHY of it – people here in The Colonies (which includes Canada, I suppose) continue to speak in hushed, reverential tones of those who fared better at the Casino of Souls.

The passing of the queen mum sets of a crescendo of future events, as forecast in G.A. Stewart’s Nostradamus work.  You’ll want to read his “One of the Last Signs” report on The Age of Desolation (dotcom) website.

Back-channel, Stu’s amazed by how all this is working out “Crazy times brother… Still can’t believe I have box seats.”  Us, too…I mean who thought we’d live to the unraveling.  Honor to be able to report on the biggest story ever.

Fortunately, my memory was right recalling about reader Andy’s outlook post-royal, as well.  By his, the fate of George Soros will become newsworthy soonish.  And thereafter something around Bill Gates maybe – Or was it Warren Buffett? – seems that’s less clear.

Future Clusters

There is a certain “way of seeing future” that is only reached by a few.  To describe it is difficult – because it’s an internal alignment as much as anything.  It’s a base thing.  Perhaps the best parallel word is “appetite” or “hunger” when it comes in the waking state.

Although knowledge of “likely future” is also present in lucid dreams, but again, only of a “special kind.”  The sort that can’t be forced and certainly can’t be faked.

There’s an explanation in quantum mechanics – and even some hints as to the role of humans in the Universe’s expanding consciousness.  The data (and there was more in Wednesday’s Peoplenomics report this week) suggests the REAL way Consciousness gets around its Universe is as spirits which (depending on planet) find a suitable animal host to take up residence in.

Once there, we all go through life in Ure’s analogy to Film Directors; each of us living our “own movies”.  At the end of our explorations (and Life) we die.  Which is when a curious thing happens:  We get a guided playback of our Lives in the Life Review Experience which is actually in medical research. (As in  Katz, Grosman, Arzy; 2016)

The area of speculation this week (on the PN side) was whether we need to die at all in order to share (*in the nonphysical realm with other spirit creatures).  Or, whether doing serious dream work might get us there instead.

Which is why it’s likely significant that there are 90+ references to dream/spirit events in the Old Testament (depending on version) and just over a half-dozen in New Testament.

A person prone to questioning revenue and social control might go so far as to speculate that religion may have subjugated direct access to spiritual knowledge via dreams in order to erect toll plazas.  Which would have been quite doable during the “missing years.”  The Why Files episode 300 Years ARE MISSING from the Calendar | The Phantom Time Hypothesis – YouTube is worth your notice.  There is a case we’re in 1725, not 2022.

Bottom line to this week was wondering whether human (spirits) resting in human hosts really need to die of they were able to upload video reports in dreams.  Which is what the legend of Methuselah and other historically long-lived peoples might have been into.

Unfortunately, blowing up these notions is Wikipedia labeling such anecdotes as “longevity myths:”

While literal interpretations of such myths may appear to indicate extraordinarily long lifespans, many scholars[3] believe such figures may be the result of incorrect translation of numbering systems through various languages coupled with the cultural and/or symbolic significance of certain numbers.

The phrase “longevity tradition” may include “purifications, rituals, longevity practices, meditations, and alchemy”[4] that have been believed to confer greater human longevity, especially in Chinese culture.”

We will likely never know if Methuselah, Jared, and even Noah lived to greater than 900-years each.  But, if the animal host and the “landed spirit” in each of us had some way to upload partial LREs along the progression of Life, then maybe it’s not such a whacked-out theory to consider.

Since the World is focused on death with the Queen’s passage, seems to have again been a drop or two of “propitious timing” around here to focus on this the day before.

Prescient Dream Collecting

Long-time readers may remember I set up a website to collection dreams on a purpose-built website (https://nationaldreamcenter.com) back in 2008.  Since I didn’t have time to do the field justice, it was acquired by Chris McCleary, a retired Air Force pilot and therapist who has kept it going ever since.

The dreams with specific future-orientation don’t come in every day.  But there are plenty in the Public Dreams area to keep you reading for a while.

Another good place to visit is Godlike Productions (dotcom) where you will find occasional predictive posts, as well.  Some of the “predictors” only post perhaps once every year or two – which leads me to think it may be where my consigliere has been tracking a handful of way better than chance predictors.

When a reader suggested we set up a “prescient dreams” site, it struck me that more recent readers may not realize we got there almost fifteen years ago.

That said, of course!  If (or when) you have a dream with what feels like predictive aspects, please feel free to post it here on UrbanSurvival in the comments section.  Just realize that certain kinds of dreams *(harm to public officials, for example) are censored by me because I don’t want to deal with government agencies who have lots of questions for people who make such remarks publicly.

Another region of mental quicksand is frequency of real insights in dreams.  My consigliere notes that most of the really accurate future event posters seem to only make a post every six-months, or so.   And, as Chris McCleary will tell you if you engage him on topic, MOST dreams come down to the subconscious mind working out “leftovers” from the waking-state.

When there’s a BIG news story – like the Queen dying – many people will have unprocessed “mental construct stubs” that have not been fully realized.  Dreams are a way we “clean up” the “day residue” from thinking.  So, a great deal of caution is warranted.

Then there is the orientation of your dream, especially those with future content.  (My book, Psychocartography: Mapping the Human Dreamgets much deeper into this.  But if you work with your dreams over time, you may come to those couple of times per year (offset for me by several weeks from equinox) when dreams come in “loud and clear” with a good bit of predictive qualities.  Late March to late April is my “hot zone” and half a year after that in the fall.

When deeply emotional events happen – the lunch counter or “bar talk” sort of things, be wary of anything that feels like prediction.  Because it’s statistically probable it’s just “day residues” being processed out.

The times when the real stuff happens is usually “out of the blue” when living is going along smoothly and without emotional issues.  They stand out like crazy and when they happen in nominal shared world, you’re gob smacked.  That is when your life changes.  There is no going back.  You’ve just crossed over into the you know what.

Herding Climate Believers

Since there is so little economic news (other than our rally showed up on schedule late Thursday and is set to continue this morning) and since Oilman2 propitiously pointed us to World Climate Declaration (which says No Emergency), the Universe seems to be hinting at the next big deal after climate change (and blackouts in SoCal put the kybosh on EV hysteria for a while).

Began this morning at 3 AM when Elaine asked Alexa about the weather.  Which included an air quality advisory for our area on East Texas.

Sure enough, at the government AirNow.gov website, there was a warning that we’d be into the earliest of the caution zones.

But this didn’t strike me as reasonable.  I’d spent a couple of hours on the tractor Thursday cutting down goat weed so it wouldn’t go to seed and knew first-hand the air was pure as you could get.  Which then got me on the trail of where was this data coming from?

Well, turns out (as you can see in the screen snag here) that we are not close to the warning zone.  And we wonder about that because there’s a county well south of us that is reporting ND (no data).

Which leaves us pondering *(now that Alexa is in on air quality alerts) whether air quality will be the next hysteria along as the reality of climate (and China still building coal plants) is as monumentally bigger problem than the fuel-efficient ICEs in America?

Why, the future-directed might even wonder if this is a hint that something like the Ukraine power station being shelled might be all it takes to set off a global clean air/mask-up replay?  Remains to be seen, but the UKR commander leaving theater level nukes on the table this week didn’t help.  Nor did reading about the fighting near the power plant.

Meantime, Biden et al keep giving away our tax money as U.S. to Send More Than $2.6 Billion in Ukraine-Related Military Aid. This as here comes more cheerleading reports in Ukraine has retaken 1,000 square kilometres in a week – Zelensky – BBC News.

WE hate to ask, but if UKR is so successful, why is more money being dumped into this almost daily?  Especially when isn’t NATO still sticking the US with an unequal share of the tab?

  1. “Because it’s statistically probable it’s just “day residues” being processed out.” … ?

I seem to get that “residue” a couple days, prior to an event. – I usually tell you, “it’s just a thought.” – not sure what you make of it, nor do I … until the event actually occurs.

A Rose, and thorns, I mentioned, Turned out to be the widow of the assented Haitian President coming to the US after.

    https://www.the-sun.com/news/3239343/haitian-president-wife-martine-moise-arrives-florida-treatment-assassination/

Couple days ago, I mentioned the Native American prophecy of the woman and the web …

Turns out to be The Queen.

I guess, I’ve wrote some weird shit to you but, there are reasons I do that.

I get pressing thoughts, though in metaphor, I’m kind of compelled to mention these things to you.

    Peace

  2. Well, that air quality alert via Alexa got me thinking…

Recently, when typhoons or southerly tropical storms have popped up, I compare Ventusky with our own NHC data. In nearly every case, two things are apparent: 1) the NHC is reporting maximum gusts as sustained wind speed and; 2) Ventusky wind speed is markedly lower than sources from the USA.

The goal for inundating Americans with skewed or useless data is simply to stoke fear and confuse folks – not rocket science to figure that. But what is different is the smartphone, Alexa, etc. instant alerts that make every IoT item in a room blow up nearly every day. I could see where your “peepul herders” could take a small tactical nuke release in UKR and push on it, feed other crap into it and produce complete chaos simply by pumping BS into a very few data streams. Everyone who stays connected to the IoT and believes IoT more reliable than their eyes is easily herded, as are those who still believe western MSM TV….

G, we are old enough to have lived through the old days of REAL smog – the elimination of which the EPA did a good job (well before EPA was weaponized). I can remember seeing the smog haze over Houston and DFW long before we got to the outskirts of those cities. Like you, I get cranky when forecasts are waay off – and noticeably more common than previous times in my life. These last few years have seen the hype factor skyrocket across nearly every data source used online. Some is mistaken, some is data mishandling (bad error checking, etc.) but some is intentional to generate clicks, grab eyeballs and ears.

I am, at this point, skimming your site, Zerohedge, Andrei Martyanov, and a few others. The disconnect on what is happening in UKR between western and eastern sources is striking – but interesting to watch how many parrots chirp in unison on the western side while SE Asia, China, India sources are mixed – back to those 6 media companies to control our info diets I reckon.

I literally can’t go to any news aggregator sites – it’s complete doom porn storm on every one now. I can see where the UNaware (majority of Americans who can’t place the Black Sea on a map) would freak out with very little nudging.

So yes – you are on to something with your “peepul herders” from where I sit. And I think the only way to get around that is to gather news from outside the bubbles of western civilization, which is what I have been doing anyway since what little business I had before the sanctions was in Central Asia, South America and SE Asia – and you have to know what is happening there.

What we get fed (our info-diet) differs from the rest of the world…

  3. I have a certain sadness at the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. There are many rumors and conspiracy ideas regarding her, but she did play her role in history well. She understood Noblesse oblige and lived her public life honorably. She understood the concept of duty. She was a pretty woman in her younger days and carried herself in accordance with her position, unlike so many wannabe “kings” in the US and elsewhere. I’m not a fan of hierarchy and striated society, but if you’re going to have one, it best be done well.

Farewell Queen, and Godspeed. We will miss you!

  4. “BIG news story – like the Queen dying”

The Queen was 96. Was her passing really a big surprise?

King Charles, now, is 73. It wouldn’t be surprising to see him keel. Putin is 69 and American media can’t bury him fast enough.

Henry Kissinger is 99. How many 99 y/o folk are in your orbit.

Let’s assume LEO is really after Trump. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Trump have a heat attack or stroke-out because of the stressors. Consider Trump is only 20 years behind the Queen. Is 20 years a long time?

Recall Chernobyl, over 35 years ago. Wormwood this, Wormwood that… “The end is near”. 35 years is longer than a typical mortgage and the time flew by.

Now, if someone predicts Meghan Markle will die during Coronation weekend in the same tube Diana died in that would be something.

Or if someone predicted Harry’s kids will be dropped off Big Ben before the queen is actually buried, that’s a prediction.

    • And another thing!

Typically, when a parent passes the kids inherit then change the parent’s investments, if any.

King Charles may change England’s portfolio so to predict major changes in the markets really isn’t a prediction, is it?

      • The “predictions” you mention are more like “markers” … or maybe a list that’s seems to be getting checks in the boxes next to them.

It’s more a matter of what happens as those little boxes get a checkmark.

Old people dying is no surprise. But 20 years is a long time at the beginning, but at the end of 20 years, it seems it has passed in the blink of an eye.

The Queen was not the typical mother, nor can her son be referred to as typical. Inheritance in this case is much different than what happens (commonly.) Charles may change the portfolio but the geopolitical landscape will also change, which has already begun. Character means a lot, both personal and public, in this case.

These changes when these “markers” appear, only a fool would really guess. But in light of following real predictions from those who wrote about the future, who’s course has already found validity, we can make a pretty good hunch about what’s coming.

The end is near, in many ways of many things. We lose freedoms all the time, often without much notice. The economy’s end is near, the end of so many people on earth is near, the end of energy as we know it is near. All in a stage of reduction. And when these things do end, what will pop up in place of it all? Maybe something better, maybe something worse, or maybe … nothing at all. I’m not gonna guess. I’m just keeping my seatbelt fastened.

Have a great day Brother. Enjoy’em while we got’em.

        Peace

      • Sometimes I wonder if people are trolling.

A couple of weeks ago I was @ WMT and wanted to get a duplicate key made at the key making kiosk. I needed cash change for the machine so went to the service counter for help.

The clerk was an Indian woman who did everything in her power to prevent me from using the machine. “what if the machine doesn’t work?” “can you go find a hardware store?” “no refunds from the machine and no way to get one….” up to refusing to give me change. I asked, “Am I on a TV show?” She indicated no. I walked away and never looked at her again.

The risk was $5.00. I overpaid for the key but it worked fine. Why the interaction? It stuck with me. I don’t want to be mean about things but maybe she is from a society where self serve kiosk machines that do ‘precision’ work is other worldly.

Too bad Betty White is gone. She could have played the Queen in the upcoming blockbusters. Maybe Sharon Stone?

      • OOWS, be careful making keys using a kiosk and a credit card! Depending on who may have access to the data, you’re giving them your personal info from the card and the 3D profile of the key which is probably stored permanently in the machine. That’s one of several reasons to have different brands and types of keys to enter your house, and also a good reason to always pay cash for such things, and if possible find an old fashioned hardware store with a non-computerized key cutting machine. I prefer to make my own keys where possible. Pay attention to the profiles – some are much easier to bump or rake than others.

  5. Nukes smukes Mr Editor,

When the geniuses at the pentagram decided to attack Chynah with biologics, did they ever game play out their “enemies” response – should their attack not have silenced everyone in targeted country???

How da hell does this happen in modern warfare planing?

No dreams analysis – personally think its nonsense info likened to soap operas..
Point here is Chynah is going to respond biologically and soonly.
    – feels like we will soon be looking at the 10 days of”darkness” – which wont wont be realized until later looking back at this current time period.
    * major woo Wednesday late night..dogs freaking out – didnt realize until cutting grass yesterday – house/property was surrounded by fresh piles deer poop. This behavior from dogs put me on edge a bit..closed up the “shop”&house for the night, doors locked/secured, lights out cept for hallway to bedrooms..reach bedroom door with lil dogs at my feet.. big screen TV turns on all by itself in empty room at far end of hallway. A little freaked – but telling myself one of the neighbors was messing with the remote…hair was standing on end, and the pulse was noticeably “pumped”. Searched around in dark house for awhile – nothing but an odd “pressure” sensation I was feeling.
Woke the Wife – muttering about weird shit going on, and asked her “what year did we get married” – this question apparently really puzzled her all day yesterday..talked it out over dinner with daughter and newly minted granddaughter at the olive garden…10 day old grand babies first public outing- she slept thru whole thing.

    -note to Universe, “message received”

** personal understanding is our Spirit is similar/related but distinctly different than our Soul.
Both can be “driven/flown” via proper care/ritual – and drugs..oh yeah gonna need some sort “plasma” and great pyramid, at least according to ancient accounts of Isis/Osiris-Horus/Set (IHS)?
One is “heavier” and therefore takes more “effort” “nrg” to get from here (3rd dmension) to event horizon or anywhere else. Seems like bi-location is Spirit moving and grooving around..Padre Pio was one, as was bodi dharma/Damo..guy with one sandal hanging from walking stick walking back to India, after spreading great knowledge in Chynah.

    • *** more interactions wit deer yesterday – neglected to include. Out at county park with the two dogs on our daily at the lake/reservoir./brandywine creek. No, did not see the ghost of Marquis/General Lafayette, but two different Fawns approached the us at very close quarters.
Never have I seen that kinda behavior, normally very “flighty” – not these two – both stopped and stared at us for a while (several seconds) before turning and walking away. Two different times on same walk – both times the dogs just stood there looking up at me and back at deer – strangely weird behavior, as dogs usually bark and want to give chase..

Seems the rate of “Wooble” is on the uptick

See the little deer, does the deer have any dough?

      Yeah, two bucks! nyucknyucknyuck

  6. “why is more money being dumped into this almost daily? Especially when isn’t NATO still sticking the US with an unequal share of the tab?”

Could it be…..just part of the business model that has been disrupted.. We will never know for sure.. there are so many allegations of corrupt business activities and sick personal deviant behaviors that its hard to imagine and shocking to boot.. and everything sanctioned as good and proper.. and absolutely nothing that will ever be done about any of it..

  7. I noticed you always mock people for having a regent, bending a knee as you call it. Ignore Americans bending a knee to BLM, the US has tons of regents that your people bow to; movie stars, music divas, Trump.

Is this odd? No. It is natural for humans to look for a leader that they might emulate, or a person to hold up as a pinnacle of what one can become. The Queen, was one such person. Well bred, kind toward people she met, and well balanced in her words toward any subject she was asked to speak on. I would be proud to have my children become like that.

The american icons that flood your media…not so much, and that is why North America is in such decline. Our young people are focused on a bunch of money hungry, underseving, narcisistic, assholes that having been given stage to their immaturity because they can repeat a line for film.

If I must bend a knee, I will take the queen.

    • If that is what you choose. But selecting our own demigods in life is a choice and in the case of European royals, it wasn’t so much. They claimed ownership of all and that bought fealty or – absent a knee – severe punishments including death.
When the crown dispenses its not inconsiderable wealth to fight climate and work for universal freedom, this view is, of course, subject to change.
For now, give me a Washington or a Lincoln as worth high honors and I will be pleased.

      • You might notice you had to reach back over a hundred years, to find someone you would consider worth the honor. That is the state of North America. I might suggest Jordan Peterson or thomas Sowell.

      • I have a couple of thoughts on this one George. Bending a knee to people who would prefer you bend over is not a good idea. Also many of those that were asked to bend a knee to past European royals got their head chopped off.

There are some leaders however, who are worth looking up to and I found QEII to be one of those. She was thrust into a position at 25 years old and acted with maturity, class, dignity and a steady hand for 70 years and 6 generations. She was a special human being, not replaceable and I expect much turbulence to come.

I also looked up to men like Washington and Lincoln but sad to watch the woke youth of America busy tearing down their statues. Ask them who are the leaders they look up to, if any.

The world we grew up in is long gone. I come here daily to try and recapture some of it.

I also looked up to the example of Washington and Lincoln

      • If I must admire someone, it will be for kindness and/or accomplishment. In the second case, I’d choose Elon Musk, though he’s an African-American rather than a “natural born citizen”.

For kindness, I’m still seeking. I do know a few candidates though.

    • Her Majesty was well balanced in her words. She made this comment during a visit to Texas in 1991:

“No state commands such fierce pride and loyalty. Lesser mortals are pitied for their misfortune in not being born Texans.”

      • In November of this very year, Elaine and I will have been landed immigrants in the Great State for 20 years at which time we become naturalized Texans. 20-years of property ownership, legal arrival, and not so much as a speeding ticket, anyone can do it.

      • “and not so much as a speeding ticket, anyone can do it.”

OTFLMAO.. speaking of speeding tickets.. I have to tell my speeding ticket story LOL LOL LOL …One I could never drive in a city.. those idiots have what they call road rage and I would probably die LOL LOL LOL.. anyway thirty years ago.. maybe a little more.. I was pulled over for speeding in a school zone.. the officer got out and says.. do you know how fast you were going.. ( he then said he thought I was my daughter that knows only two speeds fast and faster LOL) and he was going to proceed to write me a ticket.. had me walk back to the car.. and I sat down and I asked him.. do you have a camera.. he got this puzzled look on his face.. and he asked.. I said well I need photo proof.. no one on gods green earth will believe that I ever got a speeding ticket.. He started to laugh.. it was hysterical.. He didn’t give me a ticket.. but I see him once in a while and he just starts chuckling ….

      • One of my ancestors, my great-great grandfather, born in 1842, arrived in Texas shortly after the Civil War. He had served in Virginia with Stonewall Jackson. He passed away in 1919, after being married twice and having 14 children by the first wife, and 11 children by the second wife. My great-grandmother was born in 1886. His youngest child was born in 1907 when he was 65 years old.

      • James – that’s what happens when you don’t have the Internet. I’ll bet they all spent most nights in the same room, too.

  8. 1?¾ cups flour, divided
    ¾ cup warm water, divided
1 tablespoon or one packet of active dry yeast
    1 teaspoon white sugar
    1/4 cup white sugar
    1 tablespoon vegetable oil
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    ½ teaspoon baking powder

Mix together 1/4 cup flour, 1/4 cup warm water, yeast, and 1 teaspoon sugar in a large bowl. Allow to sit for 30 minutes.
Mix in remaining 1 1/2 cups flour, remaining 1/2 cup warm water, 1/4 cup of sugar, vegetable oil, and salt. Knead until dough is smooth and elastic. Transfer to a greased bowl, roll to coat with oil, and let sit until tripled in size, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
Punch down dough and spread out on a floured board. Sprinkle baking powder evenly on surface of dough; knead for 5 minutes.
Divide dough in half; set aside one half in a covered bowl. Divide remaining half into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a ball; transfer each ball to a small square of waxed paper with the smooth surface facing up. Repeat portioning and shaping with remaining dough half. Cover all 24 dough balls and let sit until doubled in size, about 30 minutes. don’t need this step this step is to bring water to a boil.. then put your rack and place bread puffs on it to steam cover and steam for fifteen to twenty minutes.. ..
a nice thing to do is take the golf ball size dough.. toll it out or pat it out.. then put in either minced up peperoni and a small amount of sauce.. and either fold it or form it in a ball.. ( the hot pocket or pizza rolls.. ) hamburger.. etc.. cheese.. your the boss what trips your trigger.. its good..

    • its the basic one two three bread recipe.. I like to use for the oil the butter flavored popcorn oil.. love that stuff..
or coconut oil.. yeast.. I am partial to brewers yeast..

    • Oh.. I put the oven at 400.. I use the water pan.. for a roaster.. ( you have a steam oven.. in the roaster the rack to hold the turkey etc.. put cake stands beneath it so that the steam can flow up.. on a stove top.. you get a wok or other steam pan.. put the rack over the boiling water.. then put a lid on top..

  9. 42 years in Texas arrived when I was 28 an Nebraska transplant. Live in Houston looking for a way out to a smaller berg in this great state.

  10. Thank you for providing some clarity about dreams. I dream nightly and agree that 99% or more of them are the brain doing garbage collection and dumping much like those noisy collection trucks I used to hear outside the back of the hotel rooms in NYC when I was trying to sleep at night.

Strange thing about these dreams is that they seem to combine recent and long past events as well as current people I know and people who are long since dead and a few people I only met once or twice. The dream locations can span from my own home to a factory I visited in my work years to a hotel in Paris I stayed at or even I place I don’t recognize.

They usually fade and disappear within 30 seconds of waking up unless I immediately try to bring them across with me for a short time. Garbage cleanup for sure.

The stark and prophetic ones are quite different and happen very infrequently. Haven’t had one for several months and sometimes a year. But they are unforgettable!

So important to separate the two.

  11. Pathetic. Comment on what ? The market? Evil bastards just turn dials eh ? You deserve whatever you get yankees . Anything . Devil worshipping elite scum . Please please the badder the better

  12. During the industrial age, it was common to refer to the brain as a “marvelous steam engine” — which, of course, it’s not. It’s the best simile they had at the time, and we may chuckle indulgently at the naïveté of that view today. But we’re little better.

Today we model the brain as a “marvelous computer” — but it’s not. It’s a unique thing, and still poorly understood. Our model is severely lacking, too.

I once read some ideas about the purpose and need for sleep were to “integrate the day’s experiences into the whole of our memory base,” and that’s what dreaming was — the sometimes surreal shorthand and weird symbolism was used for that fusion.

Using the “brain as a marvelous computer” concept will take us up the wrong creek and for the same reason the steam engine simile fails. We’ll begin seeing neat databases, and bubble sorts, HTML, data fusion models, registers, assembly languages, scratchpads, and all sorts of other computer mechanistic models that will also distract and mislead.

Just to cite one example: computers do ONE thing at a time. Only one. They do things very fast, and it can seem like true parallel multi-processing is happening, but unless a computer is designed that way, and few are, it doesn’t truly work that way. There’s a “one-bit bottleneck” somewhere that everything flows through, sequentially.

The brain-mind DOES work as a true parallel multi-tasking arrangement, and in a sense is a transcendent thing — quite possibly more like a bicycle being ridden by a rider in another dimension-set of being. The mind being part multi-connected physical nerves and “wetware,” and a spiritual part located in another realm. (“Spiritual” being a poor, incomplete word, but the best I have.)

When you say you have a soul, just what is it that does the having? Is the thing you call “I” somewhere inside your skull? Or is it “somewhere” else?

Seems to my intuition that it’s somewhere else.

  13. I believe it was Monday that I posted., that I didn’t think this would be a “quiet” week. I do personally believe that the Queen’s passing is the signal for the beginning of the “Changing of the Guard”.., In my journal, I have marked it down as a major turning point. We’ll see……,

    • Bear in mind, King Charles III is 73 years old himself. He is clearly blessed with genes for long life, but this could still be insufficient, and his reign could possibly be a short one.’

I wish the new king no bad thing, but merely wish to point out the string of events might not be over.

One recent pope lasted two weeks, so this kind of thing does happen now and then.

    • d’Lynn,

I note your “Changing of the Guard” signal. Perhaps the reigning paradigm ptb have subtle messaging underway? Yesterday morning msm published a picture of a sign placed in the courtyard of Buckingham Palace: “No guard changing ceremony today” which officials attributed to the state of the monarch’s health. However, guard changing ceremonies do not take place on Thursdays in September.

And now, let’s serf the musical ether with DJ Ure always looking to plant a good Zeppelin riff updraft where “sometimes words have two meanings”.
      “Stairway to Heaven”.

    • Queen Elizabeth II held the Commonwealth states together through her presence and aura, IMHO. Few people really care about Prince/King Charles one way or another. He’s just another guy. He’s done nothing notable other than sleep with the Queen and others.

For some reason, all the states that were honoring the Queen as Sovereign are now changing their money to reflect the new “King”, yet at the plebian level, nobody really either knows or cares about the guy. The Queen held the realm together through her personality and steadfastness. It truly is the end of an era. She was Queen before any of us were born and Charles was just there. It seems that the pot went from simmering to a chaotic boil, though this is too soon to be obvious.

  14. Jeff Bezos? Certainly was very successful in meeting consumer demand for improved shopping. Cannot have enough praise for the improvement in my own shopping experience vs trying to find stuff locally. But as a politician? I am not convinced for several reasons. A CEO can get things done without the need to convince others to follow. That takes skill in politics. Trump failed also in getting legislative actions. Second I believe Bezos is also quite woke. I recall Amazon making all sorts of sorting changes to make many “conservative” authors less visible. I don’t see any changes to the Washington Post since his purchase to hold those in power to the same standard, rep vs dem. They still churn own woke articles and anything dems do is good and any conservative voice is evil. He either agrees with these attitudes, or is unable to make staff change. Either way, doesn’t seem like a candidate for those that believe we are free people and that all should be treated equally.

    • Bezos is my preemptive nominee because of many reasons

      1. He says things and makes sure they happen. The White House even under Trump stumbled on accomplishments.
      2. He can read a balance sheet and cash flow statement.
      3. Know how to give customers value

So, when I look at the cesspool parties, none are his equal. I bet he even has the keen mind to differentiate between genuine equality and the Marxist spin “equity” – Demos by comparison don’t have a clue, reeps on the other won’t engage.

Yeah – vote for Bezos is a slam dunk. First term, anyway. We’ll check our American experience at the 3-year mark for the second

    • I’m less than a tank of gas from Texas if it ever came to that, and I maintain affiliations there. I respect and love parts of Texas, including many of the people, but my body cannot take the combination of heat and humidity in most of the state. Austin almost killed me and Houston was impossible, even with constant A/C. At least where I am I can stay cool enough to remain alive. I have no idea how people survive in places like San Antonio and/or Starbase! I’d need a stillsuit!

  15. I’m not surprised at your comment on the GLP Site. It is where I go every day, after I read your column and the comments. GLP has at least a 90% chaff to wheat ratio, but it has fantastic real-time coverage from all over the world.
When the Orville dam spillway was failing, the on-site GLP reports were more timely and accurate than any of the local or national news outlets.
This morning, the air quality in Folsom, CA is bad because of a large fire a few miles to the East. And the edge of a hurricane will soon brush Southern California and give them a year’s rain in one event.
These truly are interesting times we are experiencing.
    Stay safe my valued friends.

  16. Folks,

Yesterday msm published an image of Prince Harry entering the gates of Balmoral Castle. He was seated alone sprawled on the back seat of the vehicle wearing an open collar shirt. This morning the BBC and other msm has the same event shown. Now the image reflects Prince Harry neatly dressed wearing a black suit and tie seat belt on, and seated next to his private bodyguard. The image is credited to an image aggregator which is a subsidiary holding of its founder and largest shareholder, a New York tech billionaire. Interestingly, the image originally seems to have been published last May 5th in “The Telegraph”. That media group is owned by one still-living of originally two twin multi-billionaires. They hold tenancy for the Channel Island of Brecqhou from a seignor on Sark. Sark of course is part of the Duchy of Normandy founded by Rollo the Viking in the 900’s and a Crown Dependency. As the history books tell us, the Duke of Normandy conquered England at the Battle of Hastings, Sussex in 1066. One understands that the Duke of Sussex has been returned to Frogmore Cottage, Windsor this morning via British Airways following an eleven hour twenty eight minute sojourn at Balmoral Castle.

Well, pirates, let us return to America and all the booty that’s fit to print – here’s Britney with more…

  17. I’m not sure how the brain works in regards to dreaming or why we dream (or don’t). I’m beginning to believe the brain works more like a receiver for a carrier wave much like a TV. We receive the ‘signal’ from somewhere that’s non-local. Like a smartphone much data is stored in the physical hardware but is also backed up to the cloud.

I don’t dream a lot and when I do the dreams are sometimes outright bad and I wake up yelling and unable to remember much of what I dreamed or they’re just weird. Either way I don’t remember them for very long. The occasional bad dream is PTSD related and is quite tame these days as compared to before I got treatment. It’s a non-issue, honestly.

Then there’s the ‘other’ kind of dreams. I’ve written about this before here. Those happen once or twice a decade with no warning. It’s usually when I’m not particularly upset/stressed and things are on an even keel. It hasn’t happened in a while, but I can tell you that these are not normal dreams. They are akin to reality and their memory does not fade. The last time it happened I dreamed of a plane crash and immediately recorded the dream on Chris’ website and less than a week later the event happened. Chris gave it a high score. The dream wasn’t specific enough to be actionable intel and that always makes me wonder what the point of the whole exercise is.

If you don’t get these kinds of dreams count yourself both lucky and unlucky. It’s like being in touch with the mainframe and that’s awesome and inspiring. The downside is it can also be disturbing if it’s a dream about something bad happening AND it comes to pass.

  18. “Freshwater critters make for tastier options than crickets.”

And there are a helluva lot more saltwater critters than fresh… The native Hawaiians call the ocean their ‘refrigerator’. It’s where they go for fresh food.

  19. I’m not a fan of sovereign rule, but I did admire the queen. She was committed to duty and served well. Considering the predictions and her loss now, I want to duck and cover. If I had a few megabucks I would be getting even more freeze-dried storage food.

My own version of NSNW… “No S#!t, Now What?

  20. …Just a coincidence:
    The 8th of the month…
July 8: Shinzo Abe was killed
August 8: Mar a Lago was raided by the FBI
    September 8: Queen Elizabeth dies
    October 8: ???
    November 8: Midterm Elections.

  21. George. You and the climate deniers just can’t seem to account for the factthat there are wetter wets, dryer dries, hotter hots, and colder colds. Sounds like change. Sounds like climate change. All the other extraneous bullshit you churn is just noise. Loud noise is still noise.

    • If that change did not happen, Earth would be a barren cinder, and neither you, nor your religion, would exist…

  22. MAJ13 and all– A critic of one of my publications accused me of being a “mindless empiricist” i.e. so grounded in data that I couldn’t see the horrific implications he saw for the technology I was analyzing. I took it as a compliment. I look at Urban Survival and see the speculations about brain, dreams, quantum mechanics, other dimensions, spirits, afterlife, etc. and usually yawn and move on to more immediate concerns that have immediate consequences dependent on how I deal with them. I don’t dismiss the speculations, but they usually go to the “back burner.”

But a couple of things have happened recently that are puzzling. I’ve started having “alternate history” dreams of events in my own life. Not about emotional trauma or near-death experiences, of which there have been a few, but pedestrian events in family and work life from many years ago. Frequently new and unfamiliar characters are introduced into the scenarios. These dreams interest me and I’d like to understand why they are happening, but they don’t worry me.

What bothers me is a sort of presence that says, “Get out of South Florida. Find a place where life doesn’t depend on heat or air conditioning and where all the food you need can be grown either on site or nearby. Find a place where “grid-down” would be an inconvenience rather than a catastrophe.” Perhaps these feelings are an unconscious synthesis of too much MSM, Jeremy Grantham, and Urban Survival news, but I don’t think so and nothing similar has happened to me before. The idea of uprooting at age 79 is not appealing, but I started studying Spanish in July have begun working with a realtor in Costa Rica. No dreams of apocalypse, no visions, no friends in the CIA giving me inside information–just a feeling that safety for my family lies elsewhere.

I’d be interested in knowing if any other Urban readers are experiencing unprecedented uneasiness that is actually compelling action.

  23. “There’s an explanation in quantum mechanics – and even some hints as to the role of humans in the Universe’s expanding consciousness… the REAL way Consciousness gets around its Universe is as spirits which (depending on planet) find a suitable animal host to take up residence in. Once there, we all go through life in… our ‘own movies’… wondering whether human (spirits) resting in human hosts really need to die of they were able to upload video reports in dreams.”

Since we are at our core (solely and ‘soul-ly’) Consciousness and Energy (and everything else is just conjured scenery in our own personal Dream of Life), you cannot die. Yes, the energy that temporarily slowed its rate of vibration way down to take on an appearance of a body for a given number of years will change form and pass from Yours (and Others) (movie) Scene… but what you truly are and have always been (and will always be) continues in other realms of existence and experience.

As sages have told us for a very long time, we are Spiritual Beings having a human experience. And Science hates that kind of thinking and so it turned itself into its own rival religion. A poor counterfeit one.

‘The Science!’ will never be able to weigh and measure and quantify and define how much mass and weight a ‘spirit’ has… because it has none (even though some claim that ‘the body’ weights less at one’s time of death due to the departure of Spirit).

For ‘The Science!’? Better luck trying to weigh a cloud, pals. And your rival religion does not offer a really nice eternal carrot at the end of the Stick of Human Life like true Quantum Spirituality offers.

And Time and Space are also conjured scenery erected to make a really convincing but misleading Movie. Enjoy that movie too, but don’t fall for it. They are as ‘real’ as images on a movie film reel… looks real enough, but isn’t.

    • Thanks for this post RS. It helps scientists like me that try to think inside and outside the scientific box to find the truth. I find nothing in the sleep and dream research that George is doing to conflict with your thesis.

      • You realize, I hope – that this is exactly part of the problem?
Assembling of the science + scientifically based spiritual data is very BIG TERRITORY and scares the smaller minded to run bakc to their comfort zones/bultural biases and beliefs. Pass the collection plate.

      • Reality is big, and has unknown possibilities. Science is limited, of necessity, by our ability to detect and measure. A humble scientist knows that Reality is larger than any part of it, and we’re but small parts of reality. We can seek to understand the infinite, but only the most narcissistic and grandiose would believe that it’s possible. We understand enough to survive for a bit and be dangerous, but that is all.

      • “BIC… scientists like me that try to think inside and outside the scientific box to find the truth.”

“NM Mike… Reality is big, and has unknown possibilities… Reality is larger than any part of it, and we’re but small parts of reality. We can seek to understand the infinite, but only the most narcissistic and grandiose would believe that it’s possible.”

There is nothing wrong with Science as long as… it is true Science and not politically-driven ‘Science’ for agenda and profit, and that ‘Science’ stays in its lane, i.e. that is it quits trying to be a religion unto itself. Stick to the measurable and leave everything else to the Spiritual Siders as well as the cutting-edge Quantum guys who brilliantly revealed to the World just how wrong the long-standing orthodox ideas of our Universe were.

It is a wonderful thing to find a Scientist that is truly open-minded and willing to go against the heavy dogma of ‘The Science!’ which resists anything that challenges the orthodox doctrines.

Yes, in one sense we are ‘small parts of reality’. But in another sense, we are as big as the Universe if one accepts the idea of the holographic universe which some brilliant quantum physicists do. In the holographic universe, all the qualities of the Big Universe are contained in each and every tiny ‘piece’ of it, which includes us humans.

The search to understand the ‘infinite’ goes on eternally but this is not a futile quest. If we can learn just a little more each day about how things really tick in this vast Question Mark we live in… we are a little bit smarter and have a better understanding of it (and us) with each beautiful step.

When we realized that everything is Energy and atoms have no substance… we grew more in a few years than the human race did in all the years we’ve been on this Planet. And who knows what kind of similar leaps and understanding we will achieve now that we begin to know the true rules of how this Big Game of Life works.

      • Roundball Shaman: I agree completely! I do try to maintain many diverse ideas concurrently, not attributing dogmatic belief to any of them. It’s a discipline. There’s an inner knowing that guides me on the spiritual side, and if data is in conflict, I presume that there’s something not yet understood, or possibly an additional dimension is required to reach some level of understanding. It makes for an interesting life, though many don’t agree. I abhor politics and do my best to get out of the way of crazy ideas and wokeness, though even that has an element of desire and wishful thinking that could possibly be implemented if the individuals holding those ideas would simply do their own work(for example: plant trees) rather than demanding that others change or do it for them.

  24. She (El) stepped in when their pol parties went into shit throwing lockdown fits and told them to grow up, which they did for a few moments to solve the quarrel. queen will be missed.
The old time Hawaiians also farmed fish in freshwater. Outside the farm lagoon (seem to be lots around the islands) on the northwest side of your island I ran into the biggest moray I’ve seen. Almost as big around as my thigh; we just gave each other dirty looks and went our own ways, thank goodness. Actually, I just went my way, the fish stayed there.

  25. Dam.. I am the kitchen gadget guy.. and I was surprised.. I have five vacuum packers.. and when I do retort canning I always use my chamber vac.. which works flawlessly.. I always use my snorkel packer for dry good.. and once in a while I will use it for retort canning.. but always iron the bag first.. then vac it out then hit it quick with the iron.. SO… I have a bunch of beets to can.. and was watching a video on the snorkel packer.. and the guy did retort bags.. HUH.. when did it do that.. so I watched the video again.. and it was two seconds longer seal time.. so tonight I pulled out my snorkel packer.. changed the setting.. and dang it .. LOL LOL IT SEALED THEM.. boy does that take the work out of doing hamburger now.. LOL LOL I will start doing hamburger and roasts.. get a canner full then can them… what a life changer..

    https://www.amazon.com/MAGIC-SEAL-MS175-Compatible-Restaurant/dp/B08R2FKCF5/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?crid=312OZ58435DFZ&keywords=magic+seal+vacuum+sealer&qid=1662775663&sprefix=magic+seal%2Caps%2C100&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzT05NTjRGN1E0TkxRJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNzgyMjg0MklDVDdGQUk2SUE1TSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUExMDAwNzg4Wk1CNVQyWEFSMFdPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

now to see if I can get raw tuna.. LOL.. I thought I would pass that on.. since I am big into retort canning.. so easy to can it and store it.. not nearly as bulky as jars or can’s..

  26. ” Ukraine has retaken 1,000 square kilometres in a week – Zelensky – BBC News.”

Oh, it’s accurate. Russia is not focused on taking turf, its emphasis lies in killing NAZIs and destroying materiel — i.e. eliminating Ukraine’s ability to make war.

    • Unfortunately, the Russians are destroying OUR materiel that was given to them by the sympathizers in DC for dubious purposes. That leaves us with a woke military without equipment. Afghanistan certainly didn’t help.

I’m sure that most of our rank an file military are committed to duty, but their CIC and upper echelon? Who really knows?

      • Yeah, I know. As often as not, Russia is vaporizing our materiel before the Ukrainians can uncrate it.

The object of “Ukraine” is to purge us of our materiel, just like the object of draining our strategic reserve is to render us “dead-in-the-water” helpless and the object of importing millions of illegal aliens and then “losing” them in our interior (and Canada’s because we’re flying planeloads to NS and Alberta, too) is to insert an army of sleepers into the fabric of North American society.

All of this crap can not be happening, except by design. I typed the above after applying Occam’s Razor to known facts. At the moment I don’t care whose design is being implemented, only THAT it is being implemented.

I’m open to honest debate on this. Bring your “A-Game” and provable fact — no strawmen or bullshit…

      • Ray, there’s little to debate. We’re on the same page. I just don’t know how anyone expects to control this mess after it’s fully implemented. It just seems like wanton destruction without a clear purpose. I’d think that only China has the people necessary to assert control unless they actually intend to depopulate by 2/3rds(as in Deagel).

  27. ” I just don’t know how anyone expects to control this mess after it’s fully implemented.”

They don’t intend to. The play is to employ psychotic psychopaths to rape, pillage, and murder us into submission, then eliminate the psychos.

You have to adopt a Stalinist/Maoist position with regards to the value of human life. They may each have murdered fewer than 60 million, or more than 120 million — the world will never know.

The puppetmaster believes he can employ a million or so Muslim fanatics and 3-4 million really bad criminals, both from our prisons and from prisons all over the globe, to conquer PopUS, and then kill them off. It’s a pattern Mankind has employed time and again, probably most-recently and efficiently by the Reich. Long before Hitler went after the Jews or cripples, he had the intelligentsia exterminated. Once those college professors and “philosophers” made the Reich happen and gave him nearly unlimited power, he eliminated them before they could change their minds.

To see clearly, you have to assume whomever is in charge has no regard for human life, would use anybody and everybody to achieve his goals, and would not be fazed by having [literally] billions of humans put to death, worldwide, including his own family and friends.

  28. Ray and Mike, it is not for votes, it is the North American Union Folks!!!

They are going to collapse the dollar and unify the New North, (Can-Ada) and South – America.

See, you are SEEING it but believing it is another story.

An agenda by any other name means in 2022, smartest people on planet ever still can’t figure out immigration!!!

It is cause, the SOUL*UTION is right in front of your eyes moving along perfectly.

We have had perfect agenda results since NAFTA!!!

Beto, in Texas, new sweet talking man selling his reasonable immigration plan if he beats Abbott.

Ah, the more things rearrange, the more they stay the SAME!!!

    • Very sad! It seems that both you and Ray have reasonable explanations, though it’s uncertain in my mind if it will really happen. With the state of the art in drones and biotech, it’s certainly possible. If you look at Google maps, the I-25, which bisects both Albuquerque and Denver is named the Can-Am Highway! Who knew?

The USA has never had a genocide within our living memory, and IMHO that massively increases the likelihood of one now. The critters in DC seem just inept, but their ineptness has amazing coordination.

I can see them trashing the world to be called King, but it would seem to be a hollow victory.

    • You begin to see, Grasshopper.

However, the “North American Union” is a symptom, not an ailment — a tool, not a destination. Should it happen, next will be the “American Union,” where all of the “Western Hemisphere” becomes one nation.

The problem with this isn’t territorial conglomeration, but the fact we would have to surrender our Constitution and our way of life, to homogenize with all the socialist, communist dictatorships and live “under one roof.”

BTW, the American Union is also a symptom. The disease is worldwide.

Socialism was tried in the U.S.

      It failed miserably.

It took the Marxists 100 years to figure out the U.S. was not simply the anchor of “capitalism,” but the linchpin for freedom for the entire world, and HAD to be destroyed first. This is why we’re seeing the crap in the bedrooms and the streets, and on the TV. Anything which can be used to separate us from traditional U.S. society and values, will be used, until we’ve become so segregated and compartmentalized that our society loses all semblance of cohesiveness…

    • BTW, the “puppetmaster” doesn’t seek to control the U.S. It seeks to own, and control, the entire world, including the U.S.
