Today’s Peoplenomics is a two-fer. First, the ChartPack digs into a quiet but important market shift: as dividends have faded, more of the case for owning stocks has come to depend on price appreciation alone. That changes the psychology of markets, raises the stakes on valuation, and helps explain why so much of modern investing feels less like clipping coupons and more like betting on the crowd to keep bidding.
Then in the Focus section, I share both the short SSRN submission paper and the longer deep-dive report behind it on what may be a new way to frame human memory. The idea is simple enough to state, but large in its implications: if memory is better understood as a multi-track system rather than a single bucket, it may open fresh ways of thinking about Alzheimer’s, dementia, PTSD, and other chronic conditions. It is one of those reports that could turn into a book — and maybe into a new line of inquiry, too.

George,
The Maginot line for global equity composites is the extended underlying tangent line containing the lowest valuations of ACWI on the 1st and 5th day of the 25 Feb to 3 Mar 2026 of its 5 day 1st crash decay fractal.
By peak valuation fractal reckoning, 25 Feb 2026 was already the 1982 13/33 year :: x/2.5x peak valuation for the ACWI global composite index.
With the concurrent closure of the Strait of Hormuz, an instantaneous global Covid equivalent impact has been thrust upon the preexisting and deterministic 25 Feb 2026 initial crash.
Without the Iran ‘excursion, special military, operation, brief skirmish’ US interest rates and oil futures would have sharply dropped during the preexisting deterministic crash. Now gasoline accelerant has been added to the crash and the initial 5/13/13/7-8 day 4-phase crash decay series will have a decidedly more negative slope than the slope of the initial 5 day 1st fractal tangent line.
Oil futures (and US debt futures) have their own individual growth and decay fractal pathways. Oil futures is following a 16 December 2026 15/35/10 of 35 day :: x/2-2.5x/2.5x valuation growth pathway with the 35 day 3rd fractal composed of a 10 of 11/25 day :: x/2-2.5x series. Expect oil futures significantly above 200 dollars/barrel at the end of this run, coincidental to the 7th-8th day 4th fractal crash nadir of the 25 Feb 2026 5/13/13/7-8 day :: x/2.5x/2.5x/1.5-1.6x global equity crash fractal series.
Watch the 13th day of the 13 day 2nd fractal and see if it breaks the 5 day 1st fractal underlying low value tangent Maginot line.
great points . they used this oil spike as another input tool for the “inflation ” . inflate my butt . massive deflation already . started in sept 2019 . we know the rest of the game . just watch a few lines , tell stories and love apple pie , hot dogs and beer . pathetic . insult to economic minds . i read the chronicles of the depression , you know the first one 1930s . soon to be smashed to smithereens by this one that started years ago
Inflation is everywhere. SS increases. Tariffs. Oil. Court costs. Musk’s fortune.
“As of March 2026, the total U.S. national debt has surpassed $38.9 trillion.”
Fifty trilly or bust. Then the march to 100!
Fifty is in the bag, easy!
“The Pentagon is forming a 30-member investment banking team focused on private equity to manage a $200 billion defense investment over three years to counter China. Key recruiting targets include Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan, and Bank of America. The initiative is presented as a short-term program to “serve your country” and manage large capital flows. “
Except the “oil spike” in the U.S. is nonexistent — and totally manufactured.
Iran has changed its war front.
Irans new primary targets are Israel and US Banks/ financial instututions.
That’s not quite the whole story Andy. US/Israel bombed Iran’s primary bank and Iran vowed to return fire by bombing western banks in the region.
If USA and Isreali abandoned Iran would Samson be true…Iran as 32 counties would just divide into 32 generals?
Would North Korea Kim be called ‘yellow belly’ for asking to help Mohammad? Would Kim’s ICBMs neutralize Terrain
Would China ‘ask why’? Would China say ‘shut up’? Would Kim neutralize Shanghai?
TEF : it’s my belief this *skirmish* will end sooner than most expect. We have enormous naval capability on scene and why the Straits would be closed under _any_ circusmstances is beyond me. I know escorts tasked with carrier protection already have a dedicated role but c’mon, we escorted ships across the Atlantic. How hard can it be to escort a choke point?
At the moment it appears some Iranian (dark fleet) ships are transiting making for China. This is allowed by USA taking a knee to their needs. So use those (full) tankers as a screen and nav. the Strait from the “friendly” side. We can do this. Pop-up go-boat flee attacks will go poof then no fast-boats. Will our adversary throw spitballs at passing tankers? Nah. We can do this.
Stiks mentioned the is some disdain for US as opposed to norm. It’s a shame since we as people have always been there for the other. Memory fades. Humans used to retain a decade. Now, barraged with media, we hardly remember a year. In the end, since we are attempting to solve BIG things, the Oztralians will shar ein global bounty and adore us again.
Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie ~ /)/) ~~ marvelous sailors they are. [OBSCON] we-B-fans. Guys who crew up for the annual Sydney-to-Hobart are nautical warriors. Love them all. Our sailing site used to have “our man in Sydney” who … strangely flew our (Corp) flag at an initial major regatta in the ME? Yep. We be mates. I snork how the Ozzies have an enduring love/hate thing with family tribe “across the ditch” (Tasman Sea). Stars and strange there. I was discombobulated.
Struggling to man-up today after the (8+) hour trek from MN to MI. The infrastructure spend is big in both Madison, WI and Chicago, IL. After high speed rocking for >5 hours we hit a snag. Normal route had some minor ramp problem and, though tempted to duck in to a gap I rolled by and our nav. had to re-calculate. We dove more East than norm, towards the mega-urban sprawl and came out spunky at the other end.
After weaving our way around traffic and “sporty” weather we rolled in and rocked the drive into the sticks (as opposed Stiks). E3, the apple of our eye(s), sent a bug home with us. Think : green snot on the kiddo and, despite caution, we are both wheezing and sneezing (the usual “bless you” thing is waived until further notice). I drove to the mailbox and cringed when climbing into the car.
Don’t worry about temporary fuel spike here. It’s a global market. I just burned (4) tanks of gas. Local cost was $2.48 and … despite WI usually being cheap I paid rather more at all ends. Don’t care. The lake cake broke while we were gone and we now have wet water again. Snow in and out of the (10) day, don’t care. C’mon spring!
Best Regards,
Grandpa E

Oil pricing:
Remember my previous post of the 300+- year old formula as to how commodity prices move when demand is inelastic but the supply is reduced which indicated that with a 21 million bpd shortfall the price of oil should go to the $180+- /b range.
With added production in the world plus additional pipeline flows away from the Persian Gulf (mostly across Saudi Arabia) and leakage from the Gulf to China that shortfall may be heading towards the 14-15 mbpd range from 21 mbpd, which under that 300+- year old formula for commodity pricing when a shortfall occurs would reduce the projected pricing to the $120 – $130 per barrel range.
Of course if Iran would take out the cross Saudi Arabia pipeline to the Red sea (ramping up to 7 mbpd rate from it’s normal 3 to 4 mbpd range) the shortfall would actually increase to somewhere nearer 23 to 24 million bpd range even with additional production from elsewhere in the world.

I knew all cars now have cell or sat links. I did not know that starting in 2026, they all also have interior cameras…”)
I knew they all have black boxes but didn’t know they are adding cameras..dealers won’t repair cars ten years or older..they no longer can get parts.. I had the steering go out at sixty five miles an hour on an s turn..yes I had to scrape the shorts out..well not really but it did get the ticker kicked up..
the bolts..yes the bolts on the wheelchair accessible van .. had to be hand made.. a seven hundred used part repair turned into a six thousand dollar repair.. a fix do you repair it or dump it..the repair cost more than the value of the van..but I still owed money to the bank on the van..so..it had to be done..
now we have cameras in the buggy..but those were put in by us.. dash came and tail cams get an insurance break in cost.. just like at home..
I knew they all have black boxes but didn’t know they are adding cameras..
Alleged to be “hidden cams” (no more road head…) which cover the entirety of both front and rear seats. The cams are connected to the AI box, which will have autonomy to shut your car down, if the AI determines the car’s driver is impaired. Ford is also experimenting with a “go home” “feature” which will self-repossess your car and drive it to the impound yard if you punt the payments.
Lucid dream – 03/09/26
Two nights ago
Been going over it – writing down all the details
Still “pondering the possibilities”
I was standing at the port wheel.., leaning back into the nav chair.., the port ama was a foot off the water.., the sea was slowly rolling with winds at a steady 16 to 18 knots…, the boat was doing 12 knots.., it was nirvana for a 60 foot trimaran.., and I was smiling. The boat was in it’s element and ‘felt’ great. So did I.
Checked my watch – it was an hour before false dawn., and my “Midnight Measurement” showed I was just over 1,120 miles from my destination of Kaneohe Yacht Club in Oahu, Hawaii.
It all changed in a flash – literally. A few degrees off the port bow a huge, brilliant light suddenly flashed., like a gigantic flash bulb., just below the horizon. It lite up the entire night sky and slowly dwindled away to a glowing aftermath.
I didn’t say it., I didn’t consciously think it.., it was a voice in the back of my head.., “That was a nuclear blast.” Probably over the naval yards on the Big Island. Someone had just vaporized the U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor.
The smile left my face.
.., I remember checking the radar and autopilot, then going below and turning on a couple of radios.
Then. I woke up.., calmly staring at the wall – the first thought I had was: “Now what do I do?” Which I think was referencing me, on the boat.., sitting in the middle of the Pacific Ocean., halfway from the Puget Sound [ Washington ] and Hawaii.
There is a lot more to this dream then what I just posted above – but I believe you get the basis of this dream.
Let us hope it was not prophetic.
Don’t leave us hanging – all possible details may be useful – tell more or all
One of the interesting parts was the radio traffic. I was in-touch with a 38 foot sloop – ‘Dinah’ [ sp?] out of San Diego – also heading for Hawaii – refused to give his location, as he was afraid of being targeted [ panic on the high seas in full swing ] He was in full panic mode., scared out of his wits. The other was a freighter headed for Seattle., but did not want to transit the Puget Sound because of the Naval yards and was waiting for further instructions. He stated, in English, but a thick Japanese accent that Seattle, San Diego and Los Angeles were all reporting that they were turning away freighter traffic. [ I found that interesting.] He stated that they had refueled in Hawaii and was capable of reaching many different locations. He then asked “the question” – what was I going to do ?
“Unknown at this time. Waiting for more information.”
One of the last messages from the freighter was : “We just learned that the Panama Canal is now closed.”
I remember checking my watch., an upscale Seiko – marking the time in the ships log. Once, checking the radar I caught a faint blip right at the 12 mile ring – just once and very faint – it didn’t even trigger the warning alarm. By the next rotation it was gone. I think it was the freighter slipping by, just to the north of me.
I went back up on deck and furled the main and jib., bringing the boat speed down to around four knots. No need for speed right now. Went back down and decided to make a cup of tea.., while I was making it I came to wonder how much I had and how long I could stretch it.
I stood at the nav, station, glancing at the radar, sipping the tea and wondering – “Just what ‘was’ I going to do.”
There was no answer.
Hi dLynn, in your dream, did you have a sense of what season or month you might have been sailing in? Thanks
Wow!
“halfway from the Puget Sound [ Washington ] and Hawaii.”
Guam?
it is possible that,
Guam could be hit by North Korea.
book marked for futher details.
Ir ut ciykd bve a meteor imnpacting – let’s see if more details…reporter pens are at the ready
Y’all need geography lessons. No naval fleet at the Big Island. Pearl Harbor is on Oahu… Honolulu. 250 miles west of the Big Island. And the Navy doesn’t gather the fleet at port anymore, ever since Dec. 7, 1941.
And Guam is in the Western Pacific. Hawaii is the middle. And US mainland is Eastern Pacific.
Head for Hilo. Hilo bay protected by long seawall, never yet tsunami tested. Two 14,000 ft mountains shield east Hawaii (Big) Island from nuclear blasts at Pearl Harbor, Oahu, some 250 miles away. I picked my survival area carefully. No military targets on Big Island worth wasting a missile on.
Aloha Hank, thanks for adding your two cents. My husband and I are both in our 70’s and we landed in HPP about 9 years ago. The universe told us to move from Portland, and we landed here. It’s nice to know it’s a good spot.
since im currently on hold for work, due to a war between the bean counters and the office execs over Bonus’s verses rising costs.
all the bills are paid, cupbards are full, got a full tank of gas, enough food and beverages to last a good long while. power is on, fresh water, clean clothes, a beautiful woman by my side, healthy, happy, warm, safe and secure. and Big Money on the way.
hmmmmmm I could get on the internet and find something to bitch, whine and complain about. put on my cape, write a big rant about how Important I Am! and my views matter! and do a little self rightous victory lap around the kitchen counters.
or head down to the casino and lose my ass. that is always a fun time. nothing quite like savoring the sorrows after a short stint in the house of sin over at the local indian rez.
i think i will just head to the gym, come home, take a long hot shower, crack open that fat stack of paperbacks, grab a fresh cup of coffee, a comfy blankey, the kitty, plop down on the couch and visit another dimension for the rest of the day.
let the whole wide world unfuck itself, all without my medeling.

In contrast, Matthew’s bipolar symptoms cleared within four months of being in therapeutic ketosis – and they haven’t returned after more than five years following this dietary therapy. The Ukrainian President has posted a public update following his interview with Irish influencer and Youtube journalist Mr. Caolan Robertson. Mr. Robertson’s four month old Wikipedia page notes that he left the “cult” of the far-right in 2021. Since then he has been “exposing the far-right”, and its “disinformation”.
As chance would have it, last Friday the President visited a forward base in Donetsk for a photo gallery update opportunity. He elevated a leader of the 12th National Guard Azov Brigade, Denis Prokopenko, to Brigadier General. Apparently the Azov Brigade claims de-nazification since 2024.
Yesterday the President offered a further public update depicting his one on one meeting in the presidential office at Kyiv with newly appointed Brig. Gen. Prokopenko. The Azov Brigade received a promise of more staffing and provisioning.
One imagines that the President had nothing left to say.
I would imagine the person who travels freely out of the hot zone is someone with off exchange crypto in a hardware wallet and a cell phone. Before you say it. Satellite.

Best dreams are sailing dreams. Yours was well described. Not sure about sixty foot tris, but that is only based on experience sailing one. All carbon, so noisy and bouncy the owner sold it after a trip to FP. Beautiful by all external ratings, just made too much noise. Being all carbon might have been the cause, but weight is everything if you want to go fast.
The bright light could also be interpreted as the beautiful end place being illuminated to draw you closer to the blue lagoon and quiet anchorage… just a sign of goodness. A direction finder of sorts.
My own dream last night was of the infamous Amber of my past. A whirlwind of passion and insanity that almost did us both in. In the dream she appeared all small, like a little person, when i picked her up, she gave me one of those kisses that I could never really leave behind then expanded to more full size. We found ourselves in the outer Sunset district of San Francisco, walking in the cold wet fog looking for a motel. Probably a good thing we didn’t find one. Woke up instead.
The missus is very tolerant listening to my retelling dreams like that. Says she’s happy she was not part of thar era in my life. She was even good at editing the book. Best one yet. Will do perfect to the end.

I am pretty sure it was a Rapido 60.
Ever been on one, or had the helm?
Except the Rapido 60 seems a center wheel – only https://youtu.be/s_SO-WX67M4
Not the Rapido 60 BUT a bit smaller? I put tjhe team on it. The report popped the Rapido 50 – $3 on their list
1. Neel 52 (52 ft / ~16 m)
Key Features: Modern performance cruising trimaran with dual interior steering stations (twin helms inside the saloon for all-weather control). This was highlighted in 2025 Boat of the Year reviews as innovative for offshore use—two helms allow redundancy and better crew interaction.
Specs: LOA ~52 ft, beam ~28-29 ft, draft ~1.9 m (daggerboard up/down variable).
Why Dual Helms?: Paired stations in the protected interior, with excellent visibility; complements the elevated flybridge/outdoor options on some configs.
Price Range: From ~€1.1 million (new base).
Availability: Actively built/sold by Neel Trimarans; several on market or in build.
2. Neel 65 Evolution (65 ft / ~19.8 m)
Key Features: Larger sibling with similar layout philosophy—dual/twin helm stations (often interior-focused but with options for side-by-side or redundant setups). Elevated helm visibility emphasized, and some configs include additional outdoor wheels.
Specs: LOA ~65 ft, beam ~12 m (wide for stability), draft ~1.8 m.
Why Dual Helms?: Redundancy for long passages; supports short-handed or crewed cruising.
Price Range: From ~€2.5 million.
Availability: Semi-custom; listed in catalogs for serious buyers.
3. Rapido 50 / 53XS (50-53 ft / ~15-16 m)
Key Features: High-performance cruising trimaran with an elevated helm station as primary, but some reviews mention twin helm options or side-by-side seating/wheel setups in cockpit configs (not always dual wheels per se, but dual control points).
Specs: LOA ~50-53 ft, beam ~34 ft, draft ~3.5 m (daggerboard).
Why Dual Helms?: Focus on all-controls-to-helm for single-handed ease; wider cockpit can support twin positions.
Price Range: Mid-six figures to low seven (new).
Availability: Rapido Trimarans builds these; good for fast ocean crossing.
Other Notes on 50-70 ft Trimarans
Leen Trimarans (e.g., LEEN 51, LEEN 72): These are more power-trimaran hybrids (efficient displacement hulls). They often have dual helm stations (e.g., main helm + flybridge wheel, or side-by-side). The LEEN 72 has a large starboard helm with bolstered seating and potential for twin setups. Great for long-range cruising, but more motor-oriented.
Custom/Semi-Custom Builds: Larger ones (e.g., Hanstaiger X1 ~65 ft, MODX 70 ~70 ft) may offer dual helms on request—check builders like Neel, Rapido, or custom yards (e.g., via Multihulls World or YachtWorld).
Rarer in This Size: Many performance trimarans (e.g., older Farrier designs or racing MOD 70s) stick to single helms. Dual wheels are more a catamaran staple, but Neel leads the trend in cruising trimarans for redundancy and comfort.
For current listings or exact configs, check YachtWorld, BoatTrader, or itBoat.com—search “Neel trimaran” or “Rapido trimaran” in 50-70 ft. Prices vary widely ($1M+ new; used lower). If you’re shopping, focus on Neel models—they’re the clearest match for dual helms in this range.

‘Many people object to users’ ability to bet on death and destruction — such as the assassination of foreign leaders or the outbreak of war. The Biden administration was preparing regulations forbidding such wagering, but its initiative was canceled by the Trump administration
Prediction markets are estimated to be collecting some $13 billion a month in bets, and one research firm recently predicted that the sector could reach a trading volume of $1 trillion by the end of this decade.
Another anonymous user trading on Polymarket as “Magamyman” netted a profit of more than $630,000 with a series of fortuitously timed bets forecasting the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran, including a $123,300 profit on a bet that Ayatollah Khamenei would be “out” as Iran’s leader by March 30. Khamenei was killed in the first wave of attacks on Feb. 28.
As it happens, Donald Trump Jr. has taken advisory positions with both Kalshi and Polymarket and invested in the latter.’
