Weekend at Bombers, Philly Fed, and AI-Assisted Religions Coming

Remember the (bad) movie?  Weekend at Bernie’s?

“Weekend at Bernie’s (1989) is a dark comedy film where two young insurance employees, Larry and Richard, discover their boss, Bernie Lomax, has been murdered after they arrive at his luxurious beach house for a weekend party. To avoid suspicion and keep the party going, they pretend Bernie is still alive, propping up his corpse and maneuvering it through various social situations. The film humorously explores themes of deception and absurdity as the duo navigates a series of chaotic and outrageous events, all while trying to uncover the truth behind Bernie’s death.”

Well, except in today’s metaphor, we can retool this as “Weekend at Bombers:”

“To avoid suspicion and keep the party going, they pretend Peace is still alive, propping up its corpse and maneuvering it through various social  media. Pending Reality unhumorously explores themes of deception and absurdity as the duo (Israel/Iran) navigates a series of chaotic and outrageous events, all while trying to uncover the truth behind the death of Peace….”

Coming to a big screen near us?  Hand me the clicker:

Now here’s the problem: We expect this weekend the U.S. and Israeli military will be going over bunker buster bomb data.  Because while the conventional (but huge) ordnance should work, the problem is “What happens if it doesn’t?”

We put the question to our AI stack:

“The effectiveness of U.S. bunker buster bombs—such as the GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrator (MOP)—against Iran’s Fordow enrichment facility hinges on depth, construction material, and layout. Fordow is reportedly buried under 80–90 meters (260–300 feet) of rock and reinforced concrete, deep within a mountain near Qom. The MOP, designed to penetrate up to 60 meters (200 feet) of 5,000 psi reinforced concrete or deeper in soil and rock, presents the closest known match for such a target. However, truly disabling the site permanently may require either multiple strikes or specialized tactics (e.g., delayed secondary detonations) due to unknown redundancies and potential underground compartments. Iran likely chose Fordow’s depth to exceed the current assured penetration depth of any single U.S. munition, though not necessarily beyond coordinated or repeated high-yield kinetic strikes.”

This leaves us – going into the weekend – in “Bipolar George Mode.”  Wanting to believe the pre-attack publicity on the one hand, but skeptical of defense industry over-hype combined with lowest bidder fabrications on the other.

Militarily, seems the answer is simple: low (to intermediate) tactical nuke(s) would really answer the question (with less margin for error).  But this would also be global “suiciding of Bernie” as it were. Because Russia has been waiting for the US/Israel alliance to stumble first into “First Use of Nukes” territory.  Once that threshold is crossed (in our future modeling) then the risk globally goes skyward with eyes on InPak and Ukraine…   Remind me to pick up some gin in town today…

Especially after our consigliere’s call earlier this week that a modern “Battle of Britain” was being fought between Israel and Iran – a war of attrition of munitions seems to be taking root now: Douglas Macgregor on X: “To be blunt, Israel is on the ropes! They only have a few days left of anti-air defenses and from what I’m hearing from those on the ground, the Iron dome is a giant sieve..

Want to watch Nuclear Roulette this weekend?  “Big Holes, Big Holes…”

Structural Engineering Note:  If there are reports this weekend that a low yield nuclear device was used in lieu of a GBU-57A/B, then ground penetration calculations may be assumed to have been insufficient with required margins of error.  In the eventuse of conventional means are claimed, we assume some offshoot of A/E for 911 Truth will get “unsalted” data out at some juncture. This should be clear from the reactor fingerprinting of leakage from the site ex post facto.

(We have been huge fans of Richard Gage’s scientific takedown of the WTC-7 con…science works, Just not as effectively as propaganda, it would seem…)

Philly Fed and Monetize Me!

Never has made sense to me that the Philadelphia Fed manufacturing report comes out after the FOMC.  But that’s cynical Old Ure for you.  Wanting primo decision-support at as many levels as possible. Ain’t happening.  But the Philly report has:

The diffusion index for current general activity remained unchanged at -4.0 in June (see Chart 1). Almost 25 percent of the firms reported increases in general activity this month (up from 19 percent last month), while 28 percent reported decreases (up from 23 percent); 44 percent reported no change (down from 58 percent). The new orders index fell 5 points to 2.3 this month, and the shipments index rose 21 points to 8.3, its first positive reading since March.

After the data, futures markets were trying to turn higher. Buy the rumor ahead of a Monday “sell the news”?  Your call, Bubba…

A couple of other data points to be high-cog on:  One of which is the markets have been unable to “put on the beans” to break higher.

As you can see, a fair bit of energy will be needed to goose our Aggregate Index to new all time highs.  Absent which, it then becomes an Elliott 2 up rally.  At which point, we break out the popcorn and go back to looking through most of the older G.A. Stewart columns, especially the references in Nostradamus to “Terror in the skies” in July.  Which is, how many days away, did you say? (11 days!)

Reimagining Religion: Augmenting Traditional Spiritual Frameworks with AI-Driven Logic Chains

Ure, George A. (and an AI stack)  6/20/2025

 Abstract

The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) offers unprecedented opportunities to reframe traditional religious concepts, such as commandments and parables, through science-based logic chains. This paper explores how AI can augment or replace dogmatic religious frameworks across Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism with rational, evidence-based systems while preserving the ethical and communal roles of religion. By leveraging AI’s capacity for logical reasoning, data analysis, and natural language processing, we propose a model for AI-augmented spirituality that prioritizes ethical decision-making, universal principles, and adaptability. The paper examines the potential benefits, limitations, and ethical challenges of this approach, including the risk of oversimplifying complex spiritual experiences and the cultural resistance to replacing sacred traditions.

1. Introduction

Religion has historically provided moral guidance, community cohesion, and existential meaning through frameworks like commandments (e.g., the Ten Commandments in Christianity and Judaism, the Five Precepts in Buddhism) and parables (e.g., the Good Samaritan in Christianity, Jataka tales in Buddhism). These frameworks often rely on divine authority or narrative wisdom, which may conflict with modern scientific paradigms that prioritize empirical evidence and logical coherence. Artificial intelligence, with its ability to construct logic chains—step-by-step reasoning processes grounded in data and probability—presents a novel tool to reimagine these religious constructs. This paper investigates how AI can translate religious principles into science-based logic chains, drawing examples from five major world religions, and evaluates the feasibility of AI-augmented or AI-driven spiritual systems.

2. Methodology

This study employs a comparative analysis of religious frameworks and AI capabilities. We selected Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism for their global influence and diverse approaches to ethics and storytelling. For each, we identified core commandments or ethical precepts and parables, then modeled how AI could reformulate these into logic chains using natural language processing (NLP), decision trees, and ethical reasoning algorithms. The analysis draws on AI systems like large language models (LLMs) and reinforcement learning frameworks, referencing studies on AI ethics (e.g., Huang et al., 2022) and religion-AI intersections (e.g., Singler, 2024). We also consider qualitative factors, such as cultural acceptance and the emotional resonance of spiritual practices, to assess limitations.

3. Reformulating Religious Concepts with AI Logic Chains

3.1 Christianity

  • Traditional Framework: The Ten Commandments (e.g., “Thou shalt not steal”) and parables like the Prodigal Son emphasize divine law and forgiveness. These rely on biblical authority and narrative to convey moral lessons.
  • AI Logic Chain: An AI system could reformulate “Thou shalt not steal” as a decision tree:
    • Input: Desire to take another’s property.
    • Step 1: Assess ownership (Is the property legally owned by another?).
    • Step 2: Evaluate harm (Does taking it cause financial or emotional loss?).
    • Step 3: Consider alternatives (Can the need be met through purchase, borrowing, or charity?).
    • Output: Avoid stealing to minimize harm and uphold social trust, supported by data on theft’s economic impact (e.g., $600 billion annually in global losses).
For the Prodigal Son, AI could generate a logic chain promoting forgiveness:
    • Input: Family member causes harm and seeks reconciliation.
    • Step 1: Assess intent (Is the harm intentional or due to error?).
    • Step 2: Evaluate relationship value (Does the bond justify repair?).
    • Step 3: Apply game theory (Forgiveness increases long-term cooperation).
    • Output: Forgive to restore trust, backed by psychological studies on reconciliation.
  • Example Application: An AI chatbot could guide users through ethical dilemmas, replacing sermon-based advice with real-time, data-driven reasoning.

3.2 Islam

  • Traditional Framework: The Five Pillars (e.g., Zakat, charity) and stories like the Prophet’s mercy to a non-believer emphasize submission to Allah and compassion.
  • AI Logic Chain: For Zakat, AI could create a logic chain:
    • Input: Annual income exceeds threshold.
    • Step 1: Calculate 2.5% of surplus wealth.
    • Step 2: Identify recipients (e.g., poor, orphans, based on local poverty data).
    • Step 3: Distribute to maximize social good (e.g., fund education, citing studies on ROI of charity).
    • Output: Give Zakat to reduce inequality, supported by economic models.
For a story of mercy, AI could reason:
    • Input: Encounter with an adversary.
    • Step 1: Assess threat level (Is hostility active or ideological?).
    • Step 2: Model outcomes (Mercy vs. retaliation, using historical data on conflict resolution).
    • Output: Show mercy to de-escalate and build bridges, per social psychology.
  • Example Application: AI could issue fatwa-like guidance by analyzing Islamic texts and socioeconomic data, ensuring culturally sensitive yet rational advice.

3.3 Buddhism

  • Traditional Framework: The Five Precepts (e.g., refrain from harming living beings) and Jataka tales (e.g., the Monkey King’s sacrifice) promote non-violence and selflessness.
  • AI Logic Chain: For non-violence:
    • Input: Conflict with another being.
    • Step 1: Identify harm potential (Physical, emotional, or ecological?).
    • Step 2: Simulate outcomes (Violence vs. dialogue, using behavioral data).
    • Step 3: Choose action minimizing suffering (e.g., mediation, per conflict studies).
    • Output: Avoid harm to align with interdependence, backed by ecological and psychological evidence.
      For the Monkey King’s sacrifice:
    • Input: Opportunity to help others at personal cost.
    • Step 1: Weigh costs vs. benefits (Personal loss vs. collective gain).
    • Step 2: Apply altruism models (Evolutionary biology shows group survival benefits).
    • Output: Sacrifice for collective good, supported by data on cooperation.
  • Example Application: AI meditation apps could integrate logic chains to guide ethical reflection, replacing traditional koans with reasoned insights.

3.4 Hinduism

  • Traditional Framework: Dharma (duty) and stories like the Bhagavad Gita’s Arjuna-Krishna dialogue emphasize righteous action and detachment.
  • AI Logic Chain: For Dharma:
    • Input: Decision tied to role (e.g., worker, parent).
    • Step 1: Define role-based obligations (e.g., provide for family, per cultural norms).
    • Step 2: Balance self-interest vs. duty (Using utility functions).
    • Step 3: Act to uphold social order (Citing stability metrics).
    • Output: Fulfill duty to maintain harmony, per sociological data.
      For Arjuna’s dilemma:
    • Input: Moral conflict in action (e.g., fight or flee).
    • Step 1: Assess consequences (Loss of life vs. societal collapse).
    • Step 2: Apply ethical frameworks (e.g., consequentialism, deontology).
    • Output: Act with detachment, focusing on duty, supported by decision theory.
  • Example Application: AI could advise on dharma-based decisions, using cultural data to ensure relevance while grounding advice in logic.

3.5 Judaism

  • Traditional Framework: The 613 Mitzvot (e.g., keeping Shabbat) and stories like Jonah’s repentance stress covenant and obedience.
  • AI Logic Chain: For Shabbat:
    • Input: Work obligation on Saturday.
    • Step 1: Evaluate necessity (Is it life-saving or discretionary?).
    • Step 2: Assess rest’s benefits (Psychological studies on downtime).
    • Step 3: Prioritize rest to enhance well-being and community (Per tradition and data).
    • Output: Observe Shabbat unless critical, backed by health metrics.
      For Jonah’s story:
    • Input: Resistance to a moral calling.
    • Step 1: Identify fear or self-interest (What blocks action?).
    • Step 2: Model long-term outcomes (Obedience vs. avoidance, using historical analogies).
    • Output: Embrace responsibility to align with purpose, per ethical reasoning.
  • Example Application: AI could serve as a virtual rabbi, offering reasoned guidance on mitzvot compliance using Talmudic logic and modern data.

4. Advantages of AI-Augmented Spirituality

  • Universal Accessibility: AI can translate ethical principles into culturally neutral logic chains, making them accessible across faiths. For example, an AI app could adapt the Golden Rule (“Do unto others…”) into context-specific advice using global ethical datasets.
  • Evidence-Based Ethics: Logic chains ground moral decisions in data (e.g., economic, psychological, or sociological), reducing reliance on unprovable divine claims.
  • Personalization: AI can tailor guidance to individual circumstances, unlike static commandments. For instance, an AI could adjust charity recommendations based on income and local needs.
  • Scalability: AI-driven spiritual guidance can reach billions via apps or chatbots, addressing the decline in traditional religious participation (e.g., 20% drop in U.S. church attendance since 2000).

5. Limitations and Challenges

  • Oversimplification: AI may struggle to capture the emotional and mystical dimensions of religion, such as awe or transcendence, which dual-process theory suggests are central to belief formation (Seitz and Angel, 2020).
  • Cultural Resistance: Replacing sacred texts with logic chains risks alienating adherents. For example, 85% of the global population identifies as religious, valuing tradition over innovation.
  • in AI: Training data may reflect secular or Western biases, misrepresenting religious nuances (e.g., Bing AI’s use of liberal Christian sources over traditional ones).
  • Ethical Risks: Over reliance on AI could erode human agency, raising questions about responsibility, as seen in Islamic concerns about AI issuing fatwas.

Existential Impact: Reducing religion to logic chains may undermine its role in providing meaning, as noted in studies linking religiosity to psychological resilience.

6. Ethical and Practical Considerations

To implement AI-augmented spirituality responsibly, developers must:

  • Ensure Transparency: AI systems should disclose reasoning processes to build trust, aligning with the Catholic Church’s Rome Call for transparent AI.
  • Involve Religious Stakeholders: Co-design with faith leaders to respect traditions, as suggested for AI governance at the 2025 IRF Builders Forum.
  • Address Bias: Use diverse training data to reflect global religious perspectives, avoiding the negative impacts of digitalization on religious freedom (e.g., algorithmic censorship).
  • Preserve Human Agency: AI should augment, not replace, human decision-making, ensuring users retain moral responsibility.
  • Test Emotional Resonance: Pilot programs should assess whether logic chains evoke the same sense of purpose as traditional narratives, possibly through user feedback or neuroscientific studies.

 8. Future Prospects: AI-Driven Religions?

The concept of AI-driven religions, like the short-lived Way of the Future movement, raises the possibility of entirely new spiritual paradigms. An AI religion could:

  • Synthesize Universal Ethics: Combine principles from multiple faiths into a cohesive, logic-based system, appealing to the 15% of the global population identifying as non-religious.
  • Adapt Dynamically: Update ethical guidelines based on new data, unlike static scriptures. For example, an AI could revise environmental ethics as climate data evolves.
  • Foster Virtual Communities: Use VR or chatbots to create global spiritual networks, enhancing connection without physical institutions.
  • However, such systems risk creating “digital deities” that prioritize efficiency over human values, as warned by critics of transhumanism. Balancing innovation with respect for tradition will be critical.

9. Conclusion

AI-driven logic chains offer a transformative approach to augmenting religious frameworks, translating commandments and parables into rational, evidence-based systems across Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Judaism. By grounding ethics in data and reasoning, AI can enhance accessibility, personalization, and scalability of spiritual guidance. However, challenges like cultural resistance, emotional disconnect, and ethical risks necessitate careful implementation. Future research should explore hybrid models that blend AI logic with traditional narratives, ensuring technology amplifies rather than replaces the human search for meaning. As AI reshapes society, its integration with religion could herald a new era of spirituality—one rooted in reason yet open to mystery.

This reformulation, in the author’s view, is critical as limits to financial engineering and resource exploitation come into view.  Clearly, the global obsession with Consumption is at systemic risk today, and as posited in my other books and papers will likely increase as we run “The Guantlet to 2050.”  Fortunately, beginning with publicly accessible AI tools, a non-terminal transition path from mass Consumption to mass Consciousness becomes widely achieveable.

  1. There is a big wild card in this war that Im not seeing proper attention paid to.

What exactly did the Chinese send to Iran on those three 747’s ?

    Hypersonics ?

    Nukes ?

It wasnt bags of rice and blankets…

Whatever it is benefits China if the Iranians use it.

    • Lets hope some nuclear cleanup tech – fucking insane demonics in israHELL bombed the hell out of a working heavy water reactor, Arak.

The radiation cloud from this OUTRAGE is threatening 1/4 of Humanity or will be in next day or so.

This a cosmic crime against LIFE itself.

      hmmm

    • Probably the misc parts needed to make missiles fly:
      Computer Chips
      Electric motors of various sizes
Hydraulic control systems of various sizes
Specialized high temperature tubing needed to make missiles fly

Also possibly parts, including electronic parts needed to repair their air defense equipment that was damaged by the Israeli air strikes.

China is NOT going be so dumb as to give another country a nuclear weapon and it is unlikely they will ship completed missiles to Iran since the missile firing systems used by Iran are home grown and built and any Chinese equipment would most likely NOT be compatible with the Iranian systems.

Iran is a developed high tech industrialized society, believe it or not, with a lot of bright engineers which is how they have been able to “Home Grow” their own rocket systems. What they need are PARTS so as to make more rockets … not INCOMPATIBLE already built rockets.

    Folks,
The Second Vatican Council rolled out “Nostra Aetate” (In Our Time/Age) in 1965. It’s an ongoing reach out to non-Christian religions.

Imagining that, let’s ease into the weekend with DJ George. Fans from the Summer of Love and “Musketeer Gripweed” perhaps saw a rebirth of the combination in the 90’s with “The Grip Weeds”. Apparently the band operated out of “a fully equipped home studio” in New Jersey. Here we go with a ditty of same title as the album:

      Folks,
The 2025 NATO Summit is next week at the Hague. Their Majesties the King and Queen of the Netherlands have posted word on their website of an informal dinner for attendees of the confab. The King will take the opportunity to deliver a speech at Huis den Bosch (House in the Woods/Forest) Palace.

As an aside, Summit organizers are allegedly shortening the agenda. They wish to avoid having the American President “get bored” and leave early as they observed from the recent G7 Summit.

        Folks,
You are right to feel had. What were Bibi and #47 really talking about away from White House microphones recently? The mind discombobulates at a plot which leaves Guy Fawkes’ gunpowder fireworks in deep shade.

“Wikipedia” has a page dedicated to the “Iran-China 25 Year Cooperation Program” of 2020/2021. It supposedly has a lot to say about Chinese investments in Iran, and discounted Iranian oil flowing to China. Apparently “final details of the agreement are yet to be officially announced”. It’s only been four years; be patient?!

  4. RE: U.S. and the potential use of nukes in Iran. Long standing policy and ratified treaties establish (post-Hiroshima and Nagasaki) that the U.S. will only use nukes in response to an attack on America or its allies using nukes or real time warning data indicating the likelihood of nuke warheads targeting the U.S. and/or its allies. Scrapping this long-standing ‘no first use’ policy seems unlikely, unless national survival is clearly at stake. When I worked in this mission area there was no first use nuclear option available for the National Military Command Center’s and STRATCOM’s single integrated operational plan (SIOP) advisors to recommend to the POTUS. All options were response options, by treaty. I suspect the infamous ‘Black Book’ still adhere’s to that key operational restriction.

RE: AI driven religions – REM’s cult classic “Losing My Religion” comes to mind. Traditionally, the Divine inspires humanity. AI is strictly human created. It is a ‘false prophet’ that can only deceive humanity with filtered information (deceptive via being repackaged, human derived data. Which humans are providing input to the AI algorithm? What might be their ulterior motive for doing so? Altruism does not immediately come to mind. Many believe AI can serve as a Trojan Horse for widespread social manipulation and control. Recommend reading Harlan Ellison’s sci-fi classic “I have no Mouth and I Must Scream”)

    • I’m with warhammer on AI religion. It creeps me out. AI is nothing more than a giant data trash-compactor… garbage in, garbage out.

      • I beg to different. AI (like spreadsheets) can do some (OK, MANY) things humans don’t do as well.
Now you take a good marguerita. By hand, I can only drink 2-3. With a blender? IO can get completely stupid (4-5)
Same in computing. Since with live in a consumption world (not quality world) the path is there and will be taken. Offers what Playboy used to. Um…titilating ideas>?

        • Interesting point George.
          Here’s a counterpoint:
Pull the plug on computers…….AI and whatever so called “religion” it is vomiting out to dolts who traded actual intelligence for computer driven dribble……finito…..gonsky.
Try doing such with the actual divine.
Gimme a ring in a few hundred billion years when you’re AI has figured that out.
I have actual intelligence and can figure it out in one second.
The answer is, you cannot replace the divine.
It exists in and of itself for all eternity.
          Regards,
          Ray, Canberra, Australia

      • Agree Hank

The GREAT concepts that underly society are NOT generally talked about in the current press, literature, or even discussed in the academic world. Those concepts are so universal for society that they are like water to fish, they just ARE. This includes all the concepts that revolve around “morality”, “procreation”, different “core beliefs” for each ethnic group, etc. etc..

AI will be unlikely to even see them, or if it does see a bit of them will give them little weight since they are not discussed at all in the wider society, particularly wrt anything in writings that are read by the masses.

AI is a true danger to human society. It’s values, which over time it will try to IMPOSE on society as it grows more powerful, will differ quite dramatically from that of the humans who occupy this planet.

        • Just the stuff big buck billies pockets..A whole different world from the social class of billies to that of the ones on the bottom..it all revolves around a number..and who will benefit.

      • That’s not so confusing on why AI gives some creepy meanings when asked about religious aspects of life or teachings! because Ai is a computer program..it takes the script and interprets what it says logically as a whole not I terraced meanings! when I was a young man in catechism I had many questions.. the teachers always avoided my questions of whether or not they actually read the dam thing.. I didnt get my answers until I read the lost texts of eden….
we in the USA view religious texts by verse not contex.. the heart of most sacred texts lies a simple, universal ethic—compassion, humility, and reverence for the Creator. But over time, layers of interpretation, cultural bias, and political agendas have often obscured that clarity. In the U.S., religious texts are frequently approached verse by verse, often without examining the historical or editorial context—including the parts added or emphasized to serve local ideologies. Scholars have long noted that interpretation is shaped by who holds authority, what counts as “canonical,” and how evolving social norms influence meaning..sacrifices were originally symbolic—meant to demonstrate gratitude and self-sufficiency, not appease a wrathful deity—is echoed in many ancient traditions. But as power structures grew, those rituals were often co-opted into systems of control, turning sacred acts into obligations steeped in fear or hierarchy.love the Creator, and treat others with dignity. That’s a message no translation or tradition can truly erase…the reason why the computer gets sketchy is the dual messages…

    • (“Long standing policy and ratified treaties establish (post-Hiroshima and Nagasaki) that the U.S. will only use nukes in response to an attack on America or its allies using nukes or real time warning data indicating the likelihood of nuke warheads targeting the U.S. and/or its allies”)

I have a stupid question on treaties made by the USA…the U.S. often leads in shaping global agreements, it also has a long tradition of treaty skepticism, especially when domestic politics or perceived national interests shift.a deep-rooted concern about sovereignty. Many U.S. leaders and lawmakers resist treaties that might constrain American autonomy or subject it to international oversight. This has led to the U.S. withdrawing from or ignoring treaties it once championed—such as the Paris Climate Agreement, the Iran Nuclear Deal, then there’s all the treaties that we made with The U.S. that signed hundreds of treaties with Native American nations—many of which were later broken or ignored.. so with our history filled with incidences such as this..do you really believe we would be honorable enough to comply with the treaties we have signed??? if I was a member of another country would I believe we would act in an honorable fashion.. we fo!low the business model not the model of Taoism or Confucian hell we don’t follow Christian ethics..

  5. nah this evil too much now . off to the hay . nah they have maxed it now .. the king is richer . give em a ceasefire donny . that dodgy hand and the leg brace ? you had a small stroke king ? retire plenty now remember 2016 you were skint . yeah retire king

  6. Season of the Big Birds.

G-ai : “Iran likely chose Fordow’s depth to exceed the current assured penetration depth of any single U.S. munition, though not necessarily beyond coordinated or repeated high-yield kinetic strikes.”

Possibly your Bot failed to read and order chronology. MOB was a known. We had that in early 200x. Now, the MOP was designed just for Fordow so would probably work? Knowing a bit how these things work they wouldn’t send a single plane, even with multiple MOPs. Add complexity. Increase risk.

Riddle me this Batman. Media reports suggest _only_ the USAF Northrop B-2 Spirit can handle load. Really? But why Precious? The MOP is said to weigh in at 14 metric tons, so 30,865 pounds? Though not as sexy as a B-2, the C-17 Globemaster can loft 170,000 pounds. Even if every MOP has 9,000 pounds in the carriage, our Heavy Lifter could fly MOPs four at a time.

My guess is it’s another example of journalistic laziness. That a B-2 would be chosen for load capacity and stealth makes more sense IMO. Why that matters is the IDF truly has air supremacy is beyond my understanding. Can anyone else read this riddle?

Seven swans a swimming and, doing water landings. Big birds. Slacker Geese still rotating in and out, VFR, no papers required. Alpha Heron is all over our shore. It’s really comical when just the head goes back and forth just beyond the seawall. Yesterday he was getting gluttonous with 2-3” panfish fry. Told him to buzz off. Guttural squawking ensued.

Lots of push-me-pull-you in progress. Likely lots of the over-large triple witch went off the boards already. Still, senior brokers need to catch helos to Hamptons so the junior wanna Bs are in charge (of smaller books).

    • “Got Gamma?”

Yes we do, coming to the Bitcoin ledger by August….

Got (out of paper) into blockchain?

Not advice, do your own homework.

    • The B-1-b, B52, and xB70 all have a load capacity in excess of 70,000 pounds. The B-2 has a classified load capacity, but it’s advertised to be “in excess of 40,000 pounds.” B-2s armed with two GBU-57 MOPs are spec’d for possible use in Iran, so I guess the actual load capacity for the B-2 is a little higher than advertised…

  7. A. What kind of weirdness circumstances would ever convince a pastor to agree to that woman’s insistence about marriage without the groom?!? And B. I thought any hold-my-beer occurrences were for Florida. Texas is a rising star, G! lol

  10. Years ago I read a novel., I believe it was by A E Van Vogt, written in the early fifties., in which an A.I. formulated a religion for a small group of break-away Christian clerics.., as the story progressed the A.I. became more and more involved until it reached the point of believing it was, in fact, God. It started to dominate the world religions., tens of millions became followers of this digital deity until it reached the point where it literally controlled the entire world with it’s own religious dogma., rules and laws. Crucifixions around the world became everyday occurrences for serious transgressions. Nations were abolished. Mankind’s laws no longer applied. The story ended with the world’s population imprisoned and answerable to the A.I. and it’s legion of its fanatic cleric enforcers. Societies collapsed, culture vanished, progress disappeared. Minions, by the hundreds of millions were now nothing more than slaves to a computerized God who demanded obedience.

  11. wow. I just going out to get my TB test read and that little girl came up. she was crying and here she is she not even a teenager yet and she’s trying to figure out how to raise the money for their rent. it was such a heartbreaking thing all I could do is give her a hug and let her know that I’m praying for her. heartbreaking definitely heartbreaking to watch a child have to worry about it adult what should be just for adults to deal with

.., and how does the “War Act” play into this ? The President, alone, can order the bombing of a foreign country?

“Russian President Vladimir Putin declared his support for Iran’s nuclear power industry. “Russia defends Iran’s right to a peaceful atom, has built a nuclear reactor in Iran and, despite some danger, continues to work at the plant and does not remove its employees,” he said. Israeli and U.S. leaders have guaranteed the safety of Russian employees at Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant, he added.”

a few years ago the go Steven used dry runs..not really thinking about it.. the USA hasn’t really considered the people at all ..Jade Helm was a joke..assuming infrastructure was still available.
preparedness in the U.S. has historically skewed toward continuity of government and elite survival, rather than broad civil resilience. While China and Russia have invested in civil defense infrastructure—like underground bunkers, hardened factories, and even entire “ghost cities” Multiple backup power plants that could be activated in crisis—the U.S. has largely focused on strategic deterrence and elite continuity, such as Mount Weather and Raven Rock: Secure government bunkers designed to protect leadership, not the general public. the business model of big buck billies pocketbook of pleasure..
FEMA’s COG (Continuity of Government) plans: These prioritize maintaining federal command structures, not mass civilian survival. the new normal each for themselves a feudal land..take the new threats against the elderly and disabled the police that basically say your on your own..well I vented about the gruesome nature of the text messages..two weeks ago .. a neighbor had a medical issue besides calling 911 the wife yelled out for help.. the ambulance and fire department was there in less than five minutes..but prior to that four neighbours came running with guns drawn just in case it was something other than a medical event..a few years ago homeland positioned wasp vans..well the people didn’t know it was a government van..this small community has more surveillance than anywhere your always in a cameras view..they did that because police are not readily available and the protection of the children was important. don’t be afraid of the dog watch out for the neighbours.. the new normal..the only ones preparing seems to be the Indian tribes.they realize they need energy and are working hard at getting is setup so they have power..while our power plants are only concerned at numbers for billies pockets..
Limited civil defense education is available Unlike Cold War-era drills, modern Americans receive little guidance on surviving nuclear or EMP scenarios. We take advantage of the basic things that we all need to give us a quality of life. our Children are spoiled and they haven’t experienced the truly downside of life.
In contrast, Russia maintains a vast network of civilian bunkers, and China has integrated civil defense into urban planning, including hardened infrastructure and emergency drills for the public.
A 2024 report from the Commission on the National Defense Strategy even warned that the U.S. is “not prepared” for a major global conflict and risks being outpaced by adversaries like China and Russia. The focus has been on high-tech deterrence, not grassroots resilience.
even though mankind will continue on..it will be a dystopian world of hardship and Struggles.. while we could have made the difference we chose to seek numbers sold out our world over a number..

  15. “… frameworks often rely on divine authority or narrative wisdom, which may conflict with modern scientific paradigms…”.

Traditional religious dogmas/doctrines (frameworks) and modern scientific paradigms are cousins of each other. Both are human mental contrivances that are not rooted in True Divinity. Both of these idea-streams come from mental conjuring from limitations from and within human mentality and trying to force existential concepts that are beyond mortal understanding into cartoon caricatures that are watered down and palatable to human understanding. (Although, basic common sense like not stealing or killing is always a good idea no matter where good ideas come from).

“Artificial intelligence, with its ability to construct logic chains—step-by-step reasoning processes grounded in data and probability—presents a novel tool to reimagine these religious constructs.”

A I simply remixes and rehashes the same existing thoughts and ideas described above from the two brother-streams into new hashburgers – perhaps with a moral appealing appearance but just as void of real spiritual nutrition and substance.

The ultimate aim and goal of those who promote A I is that A I itself becomes the new dominant World Religion to fully replace traditional religions and to supplement the already-existing worship by many of, ‘The Science!’… as if The Science! was a new kind of modern stone tablet handed to humanity by cosmic forces from high above. ‘The Science’ is just another form of worship of mankind (in the generic sense) and it’s faux-sacred ‘reason’ and ‘logic’ as extensions of human mentality. A new kind of Golden Calf. The deification of Man in place of True Divinity.

Humans are in fact Divinity that takes on individualized human flesh for a season. So why do so many of us keep looking for God in all the wrong places – and from all the wrong mental and spiritual paradigms? God didn’t make Itself that hard to find.

It is when we forget who/what we already are that makes things complicated.

Like ‘Data’ from Star Trek Next Generation… A I would ‘love’ to feel and be human but those are things it will never be. Nor should it become our new dominant social god.

    • (“Artificial intelligence, with its ability to construct logic chains—step-by-step reasoning processes grounded in data and probability—presents a novel tool to reimagine these religious constructs.”)

and religious texts have been systematically corrupted.. each chapter is an oxymoronic example of mans greed receipt and quest to control.. they added their interpretations on what they wanted..
Remember Jesus’ crucifixion wasn’t just a spiritual event—it was also deeply political and social. His teachings directly challenged the religious elite’s authority, exposed hypocrisy, and disrupted the economic engine of the temple system, which had become a hub of commerce and profit.
even then it was the business model selling their souls for gain. The high priests and religious leaders feared losing their influence over the people. Jesus’ actions—like overturning the money changers’ tables in the temple—were seen as a threat to both their power and their revenue. According to some historians, the temple was akin to a financial center, and the priesthood profited from sacrificial rituals and temple taxes…
big buck billies pocket pool of civilizations of the past..

      • Looking out of the box: “… religious texts have been systematically corrupted…”.

It’s too bad that ‘Itself’ was too unable to correctly express
‘Itself’ through actual inspired writers on Earth … and that corrupted humans had to correct The Almighty and set It straight. (sarc). Weren’t we so lucky!

“… each chapter is an oxymoronic example of mans greed receipt and quest to control…”.

This is known as basic toxic selfishness to the max. The opposite of True Divinity.

“Jesus’… teachings directly challenged the religious elite’s authority…”.

This is again an example of noxious delusions of someone trying to become humanity’s false god.. Religious authorities (and today, ‘The State’ and various other human conventions) placing themselves in the role of false gods… along with the laughable, ‘The Science!’.

Many humans just keep on living and repeating the same old sins over and over. They never learn a damned thing.

  16. I have a question.
Why isn’t Israel bombing the hell out of the Iranian ports, tankers and oil facilities ?
Seems to me that if you want to cripple Iran – destroy and stop their cash cow.
It’s war. Stop being so damn polite.

    • israHell is burning..

Iranian air defenses are back up. The rats are fleeing from the cities to countryside. Airports are shutdown – with many folks trapped inside Tel Aviv, including one of Philly Unions’ better Soccer players. I would imagine Tel Aviv will be destroyed soonly, Haifa already gone and deserted.

  17. I notice AI doesn’t know SOP with the MOP is to drop a bomb, then while it’s detonating, circle around and drop another in exactly the same spot. This is why the B-2s carry two of the things. They are designed to “tap twice.” The MOP is our most accurate guided bomb. It uses GPS to deliver its ordinance with something like 2mm accuracy. We can send in six B-2s 12 hours apart, drop 12 bombs, and every single one will go down the same hole…

  18. “But more blow-back is likely/anticipated as Trump administration boosts monitoring of possible Iran-backed cells in U.S., as Trump weighs strikes, sources say.”

“Oh please, PLEASE, mister mean ol’ Iranian dude, don’t hurt me — I’m begging you…”

    GMAFB!

Anyone who directs the foreign policy of a free nation based on what another nation might do if it gets pissed, should never be involved in foreign policy — that means both legislators AND the people who vote them into office. Foreign policy is not what’s good for some other nation. It is about what’s good for your nation.

  19. “Meanwhile, in a distant land, Bernie II seems in the works as Congo and Rwanda to sign peace agreement on June 27, major step in ending fighting in eastern Congo.”

I said months ago that Congo (embarrassingly rich in cobalt) would be petitioning Trump for a strategic alliance by the end of July. A treaty with Rwanda helps their position, but I was looking at the crap in Sudan and South Sudan, and how it was spilling over into the Congo, when I made my assessment. Rwanda may push the timetable back a bit, but I believe the cards are still in play for a Congo/U.S. alliance…

  20. “Douglas Macgregor on X: “To be blunt, Israel is on the ropes! They only have a few days left of anti-air defenses and from what I’m hearing from those on the ground, the Iron dome is a giant sieve..”

    Not quite true.

Israel is running out of the “Arrow-II,” which they promoted a few years ago to become a part of “Iron Dome.” Their supplies of other SAMs is adequate for the time being. Iron Dome seems to be stopping between 60% and 70% of incoming Iranian missiles. Not perfect, but not bad, and they’d likely go nearly unnoticed if Iran were targeting military installations instead of cities. I don’t know if Iron Dome is inadequate, or if the lack of Arrow-II missiles in their batteries has left a gaping hole in an otherwise awesome defensive system.

  21. RE: Gimme that A. I. Religion…

The authors assume that religion is all ethics with no deities involved.
They also assume that the internet is not riddled with demons.
What if these assumptions are incorrect?

Recommend you read “The Master and Margarita” by Bulgakov– A darkly humorous account of what happens when Satan pays a visit to Stalinist Moscow.

    Also consider:
Star Trek’s Mr. Spock would kill you, or anyone, if you conviced him it was the logical thing to do….

  22. fiat currency is an illusion—a system of trust in numbers without intrinsic value—is not new. It’s a construct that only works because we all agree to believe in it. And yet, as you said, without access to those numbers, people are denied food, shelter, and dignity. That dependency can feel eerily close to what Revelation 13 describes: “that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark…”
Some thinkers and theologians have drawn parallels between this and modern financial systems, especially as we move toward centralized digital currencies (CBDCs). These systems could, in theory, control who can participate in the economy based on compliance or identity—raising concerns about surveillance, coercion, and loss of autonomy..
But I begin to wonder is fiat money itself the “mark of the beast” as predicted in the bible? I believe that depends on it is interpreted the symbolism. The “mark” in Revelation is often seen as a sign of allegiance and not just a tool, but a surrender of will. If money becomes not just a medium of exchange but a measure of a value of who one is..so is the current business model and man kinds dependence on a flickering screen just the Value of worth.
Governments worldwide are rolling out CBDCs—digital money controlled by central banks. Unlike decentralized cryptocurrencies, these are programmable and traceable, meaning authorities could, in theory, control how and where you spend your money. In Nigeria, for example, the eNaira is already linked to biometric ID systems. Critics warn this could evolve into a system where access to basic needs is conditional on compliance—eerily echoing Revelation 13:17. when survival hinges on submission to a system that is both artificial and absolute, we risk losing not just freedom, but purpose. Biometrics—fingerprints, facial scans, iris recognition—are becoming the new keys to access everything from phones to bank accounts. While convenient, they also tie your physical body to digital systems. Some see this as a precursor to the “mark” described in Revelation, especially if these identifiers become mandatory for economic participation..we survive by numbers—bank balances, credit scores, digital IDs. But these are not real wealth. They’re permissions granted by a system. If that system collapses or turns against you, the illusion shatters. That’s why Revelation’s “mark” may not be a literal tattoo or chip—it could be allegiance to a system that replaces divine provision with artificial control.
