’25 Preview: Markets, Data and Fuse Events

Over the past week with our consigliere, some thoughts on near-term future have evolved. Strangely, the year ahead is looking more bi-polar than ever.  The “Reasonable Middle” is still missing in action.

A pick up in the general news flow is cited, too. We begin with today’s ADP report and then launch into a world of yet another play for regime change by some of the forces that brought you Ukraine.

Then there’s our ChartPack.  Which keeps defying gravity. To the point where you’d think the song in the musical Wicked was the new theme in finance.

Fun morning?  Well, tell me what your idea of a good time is, Mr. de Sade?

  1. Profound failUREs = Leadership (GLOBAL, Military, Govt)

? Fish ROT from where ?

    Lord Laos’ (Lao Tzu) take on this global MALfeasance and Fuckery;

The best rulers are barely known by their subjects.

The next best are Loved and Praised

    The next are Feared

    The WORST are Despised

    * Can anyone name a President in modern history that you could say qualified #1 or #2 ?

    • A possible #1 – Eisenhower
      A possible #2 – FDR
      (Earlier candidates: Washington, Lincoln.)
      A possible #4 – Cho Bi Den

      #3s are by nature inflammatory

      • lol lol… doing neurals one night you walk on and ask what day is it.. who is the president etc.. in asking the who’s the president the patient immediately answered Roosevelt. taking back by that comment I asked you really believe Roosevelt’s the president. the patient then remarked no but that’s the only President we actually had that was worth anything the rest of them are all fakes

    • “Can anyone name a President in modern history that you could say qualified #1 or #2 ?”

No, because unless (s)he’s radically abusing “Executive Privilege,” a President is not a ruler.*

      * This does not apply to people under 25, virtually none of whom even know who the President is, so of course da Prez is invisible to them…

  2. A BIG Thank You to all who went to their keyboard

  3. Space Aliens were a bust, again. The take-away is to make between 10 and 25 predictions per day. Over a year or three or 10, 1,000’s of predictions will have been made and a few will hit.

    “India”

The Indians are taking over western .gov. Look at the seats of power changing Vs 50 years ago. The ideal for them is Europeans war with Asians and the mantle moves to India.

    • Just so were’s all clear, I sent a note to Newsweek and told them:

““I was not a partner of Clif High. Nor did I participate in any of his computer coding and breakthroughs. I did, from time to time, only speak with him on what some of his models might be pointing at based on my news background. This was – and is – all Clif’s original work and the story should delte any mention of my following it as a time with other news orgs were not. thank you”

      • Curious could Biden’s pardon of the son and probably the whole family in the near future..be considered null and void if they discover that these drones were flying was because of the questionable actions of the administration both past and present..such as the port deal that they made in 2014 and if there had been club k weapons stashed and placed around the country allowing for weapon depots that were brought over for an illegal army allowed into the country by the actions of the heads of agencies weaponized against the citizens and with the full support of the administration placed the country in direct danger from an enemy brought in and supported by smiley and the administration?

      • “His partner” ..In Crime ?

Its cool Cleopatra, a little fame is just thing to spark up Ure Season Festivities…thinking hear New Age -Floozies might be a very productive target for population for Ures’ “heatseeking missile” system.

        Visonary, no.

      • would that be how they would consider it clandestine Warfare. I was curious because he showed leniency towards a child in a business aspect the he to was allegedly profiting from. it’s just like going and hiring your kid to come work for you I mean some companies look negatively on that because your favoritism towards someone in the family here you’re looking at a situation where it looks like everything that is being done is going to affect the American citizens of our whole country so they could benefit from it. so could they consider that as null a d void if they discover that they were working for profit with countries that intended to use their greed to overthrow the countries stability by using them and their actions to jeopardize the whole country as a nation. similarly now that we’re finding out that Nancy had a whole lot .ore to do with the outcome of January 6th and then you theres that list of people that were operatives of agencies that were there inciting most of this who is liable for all those negative actions is it the people that were dragged in there because they came down there to do a peaceful demonstration or is it the ones that were inciting the negative aspects of that demonstration that they tried to blame on Trump… just curious… this whole thing gets more complicated and bizarre by the day..what about everyone that was put in prison for all the same offenses that the kid was going to be sentenced for next week..do they get out of prison simikarly..that’s what about a hundred billion industry there as well .how many are doing hard prison time for writing a small check that bounced or smoking a dobby at home..
I personally believe in some parts of outsourcing industry..take and have our violent criminals be in foreign prisons ..cheaper and only have a once a year proof of life..
I started pondering all of this when he went and signed that paper giving a free get out of jail card to his son and I thought you know some companies they can’t hire a family member because they show us favoritism and how does that work especially when it’s a family business and everyone in the family is involved.

  4. I don’t (normally) have much to say, politically. (Several former jobs required this; and over time that’s proved to be wise for a number of reasons.) (Also, Confuscious say; “Better to keep mouth shut and be thought stupid, than to open same, and remove all doubt.”)

    Having said that:

Is they are still writing and reading (at all) history in a hundred years, Biden will be regarded as the destroyer of America (with a LOT of assistance) — if not the entire so-called Western World. (AND! It could be that –> If <- there is still enough time — as of December 4th, 2024 — Trump COULD be set down as the guy who saved it (them) from nuclear obliteration.)

I think it's gonna be a "nick of time" — thing: if at all.

    I rate it 50 – 50.

      • Trump has a huge chance of
over-promising / underperforming perhaps at least partly to blame on drag and sabotage from dark invisible forces of status quo.
Bambi Vs Godzilla comes to mind…

      • Yeah Could easily go that way it appears.

“May you live in interesting times.”

        I treasure Stu’s work. It’s like a lighthouse by a stormy sea.
        Way beyond merely excellent…

    • (Also, Confuscious say; “Better to keep mouth shut and be thought stupid, than to open same, and remove all doubt.”)

actually WORR.thatscan excellent point you just brought up…. my wife keeps telling me that ..she says honey your opinion is your opinion and no one gives a shit about your opinion. that’s one I shout take more seriously. what I question and wonder about doesn’t mean a hill of cow pies. there are people with a hell of a lot more edification than me that knows more than me..
      good point

  5. Hmm… interestingness coverage… car sized drones over philly… hmmm..
and an officer of the FSB over ten years ago mentioned that the USA has been staging the coastline with bombs and a year ago a general slipped and mentioned the same thing in an interview!!!!
hmm.. the Obama Biden port deal with the maker and distributed of club k ..
monkey weed has been pointing out nuclear sniffers..crisscrossing the country..silly to me.. if they staged weapons and drones across the country for sleeper warriors brought into and supported by this present administration.. could it be arms stored for when the would do what they have been saying since before I an old man was a twinkle in my parents eye..
    https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/map-shows-where-mysterious-drones-over-new-jersey-have-been-spotted/ar-AA1vfJHQ?ocid=BingNewsSerp
so did they see these drones entering the airspace from outside the usa. or did these things show up from container holding areas around the east coast..?
now considering that.. and Joe blanket excusing the criminal activities of the family business.. how would that hold up in the event that they prove the present administration openly allowed and financially supported a hidden army posing as an enemy army crossing into the USA illegally?
would his blanket pardon hold up in that instance?
or could it be considered void because of what danger they had implemented in placing the citizens of the country in danger as a political ploy.. would that also put the heads of the agencies that I believe were set up and weaponized to make them the new addition to the three blind mice saga..let them take the blame for what happens ..its pretty obvious that they have not been doing what they were hired to do..the long list of whistle blowers shows that all the agencies personnel have lost their loyalty to those running the show.. the gunmen that have attempted to do away with the president seemed to have alleged alignments and contacts with the powers in the beltway.. could the blanket forgiveness be considered null and void in the event that this administration could be proven as an accomplice against the country?
    https://theamericanreport.org/2020/11/02/shady-biden-port-deals-placed-us-at-risk-from-russian-chinese-club-k-container-missiles-bidens-tiger-grants-set-the-table-for-gulftainer/

if the administration is proven to be involved would that be considered misconduct and the forgiveness reversed?
    just curious..

    • The angle missing on the pardon of the younger rotten apple, is yr 2014 and the FUNDING he secured for Metabio biolabs. Can you spell TREASON ?

Remember covert19 got its start in USA at ft detrick, then on to UNC and dr. ralph baric..from there we set up Chinese to steal it..around same time peter daszak-(christian in action) was working 4 eugenists killbill gates in wuhan. Remote Viewers have a silent drone attacking the wuhan lab, starting fire/cover for breakin and subsequent BREAKOUT of Covert19.
Military Op from day one, just like JFK, 911, Q/annons,Chemicals in ChemTrails…list goes on and on..

They LOVE US ALL SOOOOOO MUCH!

  6. They took a record government bail-out to save a “too big to fail” corporation. How did they respond and subsequently treat their employees? They closed down plants in the U.S. and moved manufacturing overseas to China.
GM just announced that they will take a $5-BILLION dollar hit on their China automotive ventures.
As a couple of transportation and automotive analysts said. “There is no ‘come-back story’ from that kind of loss. Combine this with a growing dissatisfaction from U.S. consumers on their rapidly diminishing quality and lack of any kind of global growth – it is very hard to see where GM will be a year from now.”
.., and – Trump and Musk are going to be forced to deal with this. Now that this is a multi-national fiasco – are they still “Too big to fail”.

    • Ask yourself what vehicles does GM make that the consumer wants? Vauxhall and Opel are gone in Europe, which is entering a depression. In North America there is the Silverado Escalade and the Corvette which people still want. What else?

The turbo 3 cylinder Buick Avenir is hauntingly similar to the Suzuki Swift. I owned a used one. The mechanic who checked it out before I got it said “this is a Bic lighter”. When it reaches 100 thousand have it towed to the scrap yard.

Stellantis, the European version of British Leyland is even worse. The Jeep Wrangler is it. There is simply no market for the Ram brand. That’s all folks.

Ford has the F150 the Bronco the Maverick and the Mustang. Is it enough? Will Ford take over the Wrangler? As for the Silverado it is a profitable brand for GM. It would likely be expensive for Ford to buy.

The thing is that if a car Tzar keeps the Stellantis brand alive it will erode market share from otherwise viable car companies. Will Congress allow companies to fail?

      • one year I bought mp3 players for everyone.. I think I got 24 of them..the same unit sold at best buy fir way over a hundred dollars a piece I paid 1 cent a piece for them. the wife and I still use ours..that’s why we took the manufacturing industry out of the USA… the cost of manufacturing.. when auto parts manufacturers wanted a raise to a dollar an hour.. the dealership got all huffy and said if they were going to hold them up for such outlandish wages they would go to China for a nickle an hour..that’s how many young men and women are seduced into being human trafficked. a months wages for an hour.. the thought if making a years wages every day..they can send half home and be rich.. a laborer in turkey makes a dollar a month 22 bucks a year an engineer makes 35..
I knew the pattern cutter for a popular pair of jeans way back in the 80s the jeans was priced at 80 I made 3..the daughter wanted a pair of those jeans it was the style. anyway he took the company to court because they were having manufacturing of them in China at a Nicole a pair delivered to the USA.. he won and they quit selling the jeans..changed popular patterns..
on that show 30 days one guy went to a clothing manufacturer in an Asian company..he made 2.50 for the month..quite a difference in cost of living so what do they calculate the tariff on.. the phone receptionist that’s probably making a penny an hour?
we only see what we are paying and not considering what drove industry from the usa to these other countries.. I believe that’s why executives cut support staff to show the justification of their enlarged wages the multi million dollar bonuses..

    • I had someone trying to explain the tarifs..he said 25 percent… I said yes but let’s consider that year old dishwasher… it retails in turkey for 4.50 cents US currency.. the parts are made in china.. the company importing them had to pay a dollar or less plus transportation and buy a hundred thousand units. would the tariff be a quarter?
or the case of empty beer cans..in the US retail is 200 with tax.. I bought a case from the manufacturer..12 dollars..shipping would have made it 112 ..but because shipping was the same for a whole pallet so they sent me 12 cases ..when I asked because that was more than I could afford the salesman told me it was ok they still made money on the transaction they only upped my order because I am a good customer..so is the 25 percent on the 12.. or what we pay retail here now..

  7. “looks like Hegseth will be scuttled as SecDef. ”
    Then again…
“100% Bulls**t”: Hegseth Hit Piece Debunked By Over A Dozen Current And Former Fox Employees”

According to NBC, two of their anonymous sources said that “on more than a dozen occasions during Hegseth’s time as a co-host of ‘Fox & Friends Weekend,’ which began in 2017, they smelled alcohol on him before he went on air,”

In response to the hit piece, Hegseth’s co-host Will Cain – who NBC never reached out to – posted to X: “Bullshit. 100 percent bullshit. Actually…horseshit,” adding in a subsequent post, “Your story is horseshit @NBCNews. Put my name on it. On the record. It’ll be your only on the record source.

Rachel Campos Duffy, Hegseth’s other cohost, also chimed in – posting on X: “The losers at @NBCNews never reached out to me either,” adding “Will Cain is right – your story IS horseshit. You now have 2 people who sat next to him 8+ hours a week on the record. Will you retract or correct your story?”

The excrement is flying freely from the impellers!

  8. Which is the greater danger ?nuclear warfare or the population explosion? The latter absolutely! To bring about nuclear war, someone has to do something; someone has to press a button. To bring about destruction by overcrowding, mass starvation, anarchy, the destruction of our most cherished values, there is no need to do anything. We need only do nothing except what comes naturally ?and breed. And how easy it is to do nothing.
    Dr. Isaac Asimov

There will always be popular and persuasive technological optimists who believe that population increases are good, and who believe that the human mind has unlimited capacity to find technological solutions to all problems of crowding, environmental destruction, and resource shortages. These technological optimists are usually not biological or physical scientists. Politicians and business people tend to be eager disciples of the technological optimists.
    Dr. Albert Bartlett. 1994

Ure you didn’t live up to your IQ. Dividing one number, land, by another, population, offers a data point.

    But has no relevance.

How about its Ecological Footprint? Very low. Africa cannot sustainably support many people. Far fewer than today.

    How about water?

Land without water is a desert. Africa is mostly dry.

“Here is everything you need to know about the water crisis in Africa: Africa is the second-driest continent globally, behind Australia.”

For a good illustration, “5.52 billion people out of a population of 7.78 billion in 186 countries face water insecurity today. Of these, 1.34 billion are Africans (out of your 1.5 billion), accounting for more than 90% of the continent’s population.

It’s not water shortages; its people longages!

    • (“Which is the greater danger ?nuclear warfare or the population explosion? “)

that’s a huge I threshing subject.. we know who they prepared to protect.. so who does the work?
when my daughters best friends dad was downsized and the only offer he got was for a half a million a year. he felt insulted.. while going wage was under twenty grand a year for me that year..he worked behind a desk pencil and paper.. the plant manager of a cabinet shop..didn’t even know how to read a tape measure..he tried to build a kitchen cabinet.. it was such a comical thing to look at..
see the only reason the earth can’t support us is the business model..until the business model changes it will be the same..
or which one will be frying up the burger and which one cleaning the stalls.
auto dealerships around here can’t get repair parts for cars 10 years or older..they told me I have to get parts then bring them in.

    • “Which is the greater danger ?nuclear warfare or the population explosion?”

      Obviously, nuclear war.

The population explosion is self-correcting. Egypt no longer has seven years of wheat in storage…

  9. Does it matter?
A lot of talk and doom-&-gloom, but does it actually matter ? All that much ?
We [the U.S.] has been in a few recessions. We weathered it and we always came back even stronger. Something about being bitch-slapped., as a whole, gets a lot people’s tightie-whities all bunched-up and they come out of the corner swinging even harder.
I know that quite a few will suffer, somewhat. Being shown your ignorance and stupidity can often create a lot of problems – but they will work it out., eventually. Usually with the help of others.
I, personally, am not too concerned about a recession – possibly a slight interruption in my bourbon-buying., poker games ? ., time at the pistol range?.., but otherwise I don’t foresee anything insurmountable occurring. If it is handled right., on the federal scale – we will “skate on through to the other side” in a year, or so.. what the problem is whether the recession goes too deep and the cracks that we are ignoring right now and simply stepping over widen to the point that they collapse the economy and we fall into that chasm called a depression. Which is possible on several economic fronts. ., and with China’s help – VERY possible.
Not including an all out war. – that changes everything – and rather quickly. That would be a “Buckle-up.., it’s about to get bumpy out there” , & – “You don’t have enough ammo.”
.., but, we are not there, yet. And hopefully won’t get-there. But, if you are as smart as you seem to be – you have a plan in place., with a Plan-B mapped out., with an emergency Plan-C. You can see., you know., what you need to “get-by” and be “slightly more” then comfortable.
Right now, that is best you can do.
So.., try to chill a bit., go get some nacho’s and beer…,

    • Nostradamus and the Third Age of Mars, The Prophecies of World War III, G. A. Stewart, 2019, Page 854

As I have touched upon, The Apocalypse, The End of Days, The Kali Yuga, Ragnarök, these fantastic tales are part of the unfinished story of The War of the Gods. I believe they will have a real-life conclusion. Whether doubters and critics choose to acknowledge the reality of these foundational mythologies is irrelevant. Future global events will intrude on that disbelief.

Book of Enoch XV: 10 (Richard Laurence Translation)

They shall cause lamentation. No food shall they eat; and they shall be thirsty; they shall be concealed, and shall not rise up against the sons of men, and against women; for they come forth during the days of slaughter and destruction.

      Nostradamus Epistle: Paragraph 55:2

And there will be more grievous wars and battles, and there will be towns, cities, castles and all other edifices will be burned, desolated, and destroyed, with great effusion of vestal blood, violations of married women and widows, and sucking children dashed and broken against the walls of towns.

      Nostradamus Epistle: Paragraph 55:3

By the means of Satan, Infernal Prince, so many evils will be committed that the entire world will be found undone and desolate.

  10. re: Volgograd, Ru update
    feat: when penguins fly

    Folks,

Hold off lighting the fuse on the hazelnut baileys! Russian msm is reporting on a recent state of affairs in the South Atlantic Ocean. Three Russian women from the aerially-besieged city of Volgograd were aboard the nearly new polar luxury cruise ship Diana which is named after the Roman goddess. The trio had embarked on a hunger strike as the vessel built in 2022 had failed to land as promised at Antarctica following engine problems. The incensed Russians claimed to have paid around 1.2 million roubles (us$11,500) each for a three week cruise.

The ship’s website shows the vessel looking rather posh. There are no inside cabins. The brand had at one time been based in England and owned by a peer in the House of Lords as well as being Honorary Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy. His ship HMS President traced its roots to the original flagship of the US Navy, USS President, launched at New York in 1800. The cruise line is currently headquartered in Cyprus and commanded by a reserve member of the Italian navy now resident in Monaco with unnamed financial backers.

    • re: Colossus of Rhodes II
      feat: 46

      Folks,
It is written in the New Testament of “The Bible” that prior to the Apostle Paul setting off for Rhodes, he offered words of wisdom. “It is better to give than to receive”.

Today President Biden was in a giving mood. Msm followed him to a civilized oasis-like vertically integrated food processing plant claiming to be feeding half of Angola. The site was in a desert setting under siege from encroaching rural impoverishment. The President was pictured with a mixed-complexion plant “owner” who appeared inseparable from a Portuguese-expat factory manager. The latter represented the fifth generation Swiss family owned builder of the factory with their proprietary skills and knowledge. There wasn’t time wasted explaining a whole lot about where the raw materials for food processing were coming from. However the story segued into the travellers being situated at a port railhead whose new railway extension is a joint US/EU venture. The President gave generously. It’s going to take many years to build, they say.

Around this point, an East Texas newsletter pundit of the 100 year toaster saga and no frugal measure of Scottish blood may take pause. Isn’t there a separate railroad along part of the route already? Well…is it 30 years since release of the “Definitely Maybe” album by Oasis?

While we read so much of Sir Cecil Rhodes and colonialism in Africa, media of the day made colossus caricature of his Scottish partner from Aberdeen, Sir Robert Williams. Sir Robert was praised or reviled depending upon money flows for securing a 99 year railroad lease across Portuguese West Africa (Angola) to reach land-locked minerals.

Sir Robert took retirement at the still-tranquil Park House nestled between the River Dee and the A93 that connects Aberdeen and Perth. First mention of the property being enjoyed was by Robert the Bruce at the beginning of the 14th century. Modern day commoners can avail themselves of bankside angling on the property for a princely sum. Salmon taken damaged or out of season must be handed over to the property owner according to the abode’s website.

As noted above though, “it is better to give than to receive”.

      • You need to get your head clear. the FBI – one of the alphabet agencies – see Mike Benz on Rogan this week and dare to listen to it – they are all cut of the same pro corp anti individual cloth.

    • Gonna end up like The Krell…

      Forbidden Planet (1956)

Morbius appears and tells Adams and Ostrow that he has been studying artifacts of the Krell, a highly advanced race that mysteriously perished in a single night 200,000 years before. One such device enhances the intellect, which Morbius had used. He barely survived, but his intellectual capacity had doubled. Another is a vast 8,000-cubic-mile (33,000 km3) underground machine, still functioning, powered by 9,200 thermonuclear reactors. Adams tells Morbius he must share these discoveries with Earth, but Morbius refuses, saying, “Humanity is not yet ready to receive such limitless power.”

Being loved by the people surrounding you ;)).

  13. Has anyone else noticed that ever since Trudeau’s pilgrimage to Mar-a-Lago, Montréal/Ontario propaganda commercials have shown up on the Fox and History networks, and during sporting events on all channels, at a rate of about 3x per hour?

(They may be on ALL channels. I wouldn’t know. I don’t watch network TV or news networks other than Fox or CNN, nor do I watch movie or canned “entertainment” networks — unless I’m doing research…)

I’m guessing Justin was more than a little bothered by Trump’s chiding…

    • They are very scared.

A curious historical fact is that after the Civil War Congress restored the tariff wall. That legislation kicked off a depression in the colonies of British North America. In some areas there was a 40% decline in economic activity. The collapse was so bad that the colonies got together and formed the country now known as Canada. I don’t know how the country would deal with something like even a 10% drop in economic activity today.
