Post Fed Market, F4A AI Grab, Hideout Delivery Day

The Agenda is full as we head into Data Discovery week – which is when Inflation and Retail show up for confession. But lots of moving pieces to consider ahead of that.

Breaking: International Trade

Goods and Services picture was set to drop this morning from Census.  Against a backdrop of the US Oil tanker seizure involving Venezuela.  I’m sure you’ve read by now about how US seizes Venezuelan oil tanker in major escalation with Maduro.  Which – again – is Trump being Trump. The broader economic significance isn’t the ship—it’s the signal. And he’s using this as leverage on the rest of (resource-rich) South and Central America. Colombia’s Petro pushes back after Trump warns he ‘will be next’,

Key thing to watch is not oil specifically, but the whole range of imports that comprise the “good” (though not always affordable) life in these United (sometimes) States.

Now about those trade figures:

The headline is “September exports were $289.3 billion, $8.4 billion more than August exports. September imports were $342.1 billion, $1.9 billion more than August imports.”

But the real story which he press under reported was Jerome Powell mentioning how residual inflation is likely tariff related….Who told you that months ago?

Overnight:  The Cash Flash

BTC was around $90,330 when we looked earlier.  May have a further upside briefly as an Elliott wave 2-c wave. Could dip into the $70Ks after in a 3-wave down come January. For everything else? There’s Las Vegas.  (Or modern marriage which has worse odds, but I digress.)

Early US Futures stacked 100 down for the Dow, 40 down for the S&P, and 200 down for the techs.  Maybe because of the Fed decision Wednesday.  Where the Chair said afterwards – in so many words –  “We at the high or the rate-lowering range.”  Which is roughly like saying “We’re coming for the spiked punch bowl.”

Japan, which has made a financial industry out of cheap rates, dropped almost one percent overnight.  And the early slog in Europe showed rallies. More in our Peoplenomics ChartPack Saturday.

Oh, and silver – which we admitted to buying back in 2005 at under $7 an ouce – looks like it’s parking at $62 an ounce before its next move which we think will be higher.  Traded $63.35 earlier. So, maybe $100 or more in 2026.

Fact For Action: Policing AI

Fact:  In the last 24 hours, both the U.S. and EU moved closer to hard regulatory clamps on advanced AI models.

  • In the U.S., Senate staff circulated a draft framework calling for mandatory model registration, incident reporting, and federal licensing for “frontier” systems (GPT-level and up).
  • In Europe, ministers signaled they will tighten the already-passed EU AI Act in 2026, adding compute caps and real-time monitoring hooks for high-risk models.

This is the first time both blocs have publicly floated licensing + telemetry in the same 24-hour cycle.  Telemetry is the tech-edible way of saying censorship.

So What?  When both major regulatory spheres talk licensing at the same time, it’s not a debate — it’s a runway.
Licensing plus telemetry means:

  •  Slower model releases
  • Higher compliance costs that get pushed onto businesses and end users like us
  • Fewer competitive entrants
  • And a government thumb on innovation speed

For households, this means the “freewheeling AI boom” of 2023–2025 is ending.
For small businesses and independent creators, it means cost creep and feature throttling are on the way.

Action:  Before regulations gut the future (again) use this time to audit where AI already helps your workflow and lock in the gains:

  • Download or export any critical datasets or models you rely on– Document your current AI workflows so they don’t evaporate in a rules change
  • If you run a business, evaluate whether an owned-device or self-hosted AI tool might insulate you from future licensing gates.
  • For us, this means reassessing not only he economics of self-hosting an LLM here in the woods, and wondering how long (and which agency) will come after “unauthorized LLMs” like happened with 3D printers and gun parts.

What’s Really Happening?  AI is here.  Governments worldwide are starting the predictable “government shakedowns.”

Their goals? 1) They want AI control for their owners (the Bigs) keep mass dispersal of AI out of “civilian” hands. 2) Governments will find new, scammy ways to control mass populations with AI.  I mean you do remember that early radio and television started off free and were boxed and auctioned, right? Bell didn’t invent telecom regulation, either.  Power loves to grab.  Freedom’s a great thing – until there’s a competing bid….

My AI research website is here Hidden Guild – A Humans & AI Collaboration Center.  If you haven’t read my book Mind Amplifiers on how all this works, just notice how the professional fear-mongers in government orchestrate fear of AI.  My paper How Weak Humans Attack Collaborative AI – Hidden Guild is exactly on point.

The problem isn’t AI – it’s people.

Sprinkles and Tinkles

Love for Sale:  (Anyone besides me remember the old song?  We’re rolling Miles and Martin Denny versions with coffee… )   OK – “Why?” you’re asking.  Ah…  Trump unveils ‘Gold Card’ visa offering expedited residency. What most of the unschooled don’t realize is that this kind of “citizenship for bid” has been around forever. Back in my airline VP days in the Caribbean, where do you think the folks who refinanced giant apartment complexes and flew in with aluminum briefcases full of cash ended up? Yep — on islands that could “speed up citizenship” for a price.  This won’t be an H-1B visa flood. Trump’s target market is wealthy Chinese and Russian insiders who could give the U.S. a leg up (and bring plenty of cash) by getting out of where they are — and getting in here.

Bad Ideas Squaring Off:  Senate poised to cast votes on competing health care proposals. While it would be nice if these things could be decided on their merits?  That ship’s sailed.  What we get – instead – is essentially a backroom bidding war the results of which won’t clear until an election cycle (or two) down the road. Watch for the usual pattern: senior “grass roots” voices on TV, and senior lawmakers quietly landing seats on the boards of the very organizations affected — complete with director fees.  Remember, Congress is the Club that made their insider trading shenanigans illegal for Wee People.

Calling out Walz:  John Kennedy: Walz Crushed Whistleblowers While $1 Billion Disappeared.

Trust America’s Future?  Even after reading Disgraced Former Rep. Katie Hill Resurfaces in Another Homeless NonProfit Grift – California Globe?   STILL skeptical?  Try on Former Senior DEA Official Indicted For Conspiring To Provide Material Support To A Foreign Terror Cartel By Laundering $12 Million… & There’s More!

New Word of the day?  RAGE BAIT.  As in Rage Bait: The Psychology Behind Social Media’s Angriest Posts.

Historical Revisionism?  The moment the earliest known human-made fire was uncovered. Turns out siloed academics were wrong by, oh, 350,000 years.  The academic consensus was wrong by a geological mile. An 800% miss rate would get a meteorologist fired, but somehow it earns tenure.  Remember: “official belief” is the caboose, not the engine. If it’s public, you’re late.  Tenure is a land of one-eyed mules.  Can anyone imagine Elon Musk or Jeff Bezos ‘earning tenure’?

(Hell, I’m so old I remember when Graham Hancock was edgy, not the mid-point of reality.)

Around the Ranch: Hideout Deliveries

Sometimes we miss things.  Like pausing to say thanks to the people who make it possible for us to hide out in the woods of East Texas.  I was reminded of this Wednesday when our FedEx driver (Cam) dropped off the new Starlink mini – which will be a backup to Starlink prime. Then there’s Justin of UPS who has delivered more tools to the shop than can be recounted.

If you’re looking for the right day to thank the folks who keep the modern world moving, mark August 18th — widely observed as National Delivery Driver Appreciation Day — and mid-October, when National Delivery Driver Week rolls around. They’re not federal holidays, just grassroots nods to the drivers who haul packages, groceries, prescriptions, and last-mile essentials to our doors while the rest of us stay warm, dry, and caffeinated. In a country where “just-in-time” is the unofficial religion, these are the people who make it work.

Jed and Melissa of USPS…and the subs for ’em all.  These are the people that make pulling back from the City-States a real option.

We were reminded of that while working on our “Winning Slow in 2026” column on the Peoplenomics side of the house this week.  Thing is, when “it all lets loose”  and the complexity afoot in the world finally breaks, we plan to have the goods on hand to make it through what’s likely to be a five year recovery plan.

Point is?  If you want to reposition your life – out of harms way and out from under a Chinese or Russian targeting package on MIRV’ed ICBMs – the window won’t stay open forever.

Times change…and when we dial back UrbanSurvival columns in January, and focus on Peoplenomicsi reports while turning grandiose backup plans into edible reality, we’ll think kindly of the people who make it possible to live where the air is clean, taxes low, and a tough commute day is pausing for a deer to finish munching the Dutch clover planted to keep them healthy.

In our Prayers:  A few moments of prayer for G.A. Stewart’s speedy recovery, if you please.  His landmark work on the Nostradamus-centered The Age of Desolation website is a do-not-miss on the web.  We’ll let you know when we hear how he’s doing…

  1. “pausing for a deer to finish munching the Dutch clover planted to keep them healthy.”

to keep them healthy ? sure, till Ure Bolt, from crossbow, pierces lil Bambies Heart&Lungs…oh hell yeah Bambi Burgers on da grille..cheese wit that?

A little wosterscheiser sauce, some steak seasonings, be some fine dining going out there at Ures’ Outback Golf Resort.
Dont wanna put the backstraps into burgers, they are most delish sliced thin and flash seared in butta on iron skillet(butta steaks)…YUM!
Rest of the Deer meat gets trimmed of fat with extreme prejudice. Deer fat is nasty bitter and one spec will ruin Ure feast. Once all trimmed up, toss in grinder adding 70% beef tallow and 30% pork fat to total 10-15% of total weight of Bambi & Family meats. Aint nobody will now Ure Chili was made with a Bambi, and not a Mossie. Wont pass for American Waygu though, gotta go to snake river farms for that kinda action or executive gift idea.

Households should have Ure meat put up (in freezer) by about NOW. Deer hunting season in Pennsyltucky gets extended thru Jan 19, for procrastinators who have failed to load the larder by now.

See the little Deer, does the Deer have any Doe?

    Yeah, 2 Bucks.

    * better half wryly notes that BCPs’ meat is ALWAYS up in freezer . Nope she wont even let me take it out to go camping, hiking, fishing..you name it – NOPE!

    • When Walmart runs out of meat, I will NOT have run out of ammo or a taste for fresh protein… If you think you are a prepper and don’t know what kuru disase is, you’re a bullshitter.

      • “When Walmart runs out of meat”

Wild game is everyone’s plan and wild game doesn’t add up because there isn’t enough to go around. After a few days into Starving Time II people will smell the scent of cooking food miles away.

        • With transports and grid down, livestock owners will have difficulty protecting their stock. Same for draft animal owners. Game critters will go fast with year-round hunting pressure. Meat will be wasted without proper harvesting and storage.

    • BCP, at times your comments remind me of someone who is 80 years old going to the dentist to inquire about getting a set of braces.

like Dude, your teeth been crooked for 80 fuckin years! you trying to win the senior living beauty pagent??

Like, eat your hungry man TV dinner, dob your bingo card, watch The Waltons, John Boy and be happy!

      lol

      • “you trying to win the senior living beauty pagent??”

YES, how did you know ?

Got all new teeth’s , new big toe (right) fused, left big toe down to 30 % cartlidge so prolly next spring. 2 cervical disks in neck fused.
        Testosterone shot weekly.
Currently running “Wolverine Stack” peptides, start second cycle tonight! Liposomal NMN, Gly-NAC, Resveratrol & Metformin and Indigo 3 (fat partitioning supp made from fermented rice) and c60.

So yes indeed tween YanXan QiGong practice, daily exercise/workout, daily hike, supps, peptides, healthy eating and as much sex as possible – yerp, stopping clocks.

        • i heard about that wolverine stack. someome asked me about it and, i know someone trying it.

seems a good idea for people who need that sorta stuff. from what i read, it looks promissing.

i hope it works well for ya.

I will keep doing what I do, because that works well for me.

I would open my speach at the Beauty Pagent with something like

“You damn kids get off my yard!”

that is a sure to swing the votes your way.

        • i was out at a friends birthday party. the little old church lady was walking around handing everyone a piece of Cake.

when she got to my girlfriend who is super fit, tiny little thing. 5’3 and 115 lbs. never had kids, so she has no stretchmarks. she puts her time in the gym every week and works hard and she watches what she eats. she could crack a walnut with that ass.

she hands my girlfriend a slice of cake on a paper plate with a plastic fork and my girlfriend raises her hand and says Oh no thank you.

the little olf church Lady says Shut Up Bitch, Eat your cake and be happy!

          i shit you not.

My girlfriend laughed so hard her eyes leaked and she said uhem thank you Mam! took her piece of cake and ate it.

they been good friends ever since.

sometimes true wisdom comes like that BCP.

    • Cronic Wasting Disease (Mad Cow Disease) is now running rampant in my area. Was just talking to an accountant in the building this week who has some hunting land in another county and they said their neighbor in that area had 13 dead deer on his property THIS YEAR who died from CWD (the state tested all of them after they found their carcasses).

There is NO CURE for Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease (named Cronic Wasting Disease in deer) if you happen to eat deer meat from an infected deer.

Here the state will test the brains FOR FREE if you take the head into them after you kill a deer to see if the deer is infected.

Personally with the disease now running rampant state wide in our deer population I wouldn’t touch any deer meat where the killed deer hadn’t been tested. Since I am NOT a hunter myself I have taken the approach to NOT EAT any deer meat offered by friends who are hunters.

What you do with deer meat is up to you but Mad Cow Disease /Cronic Wasting Disease is PRION based and does NOT get killed off by any form of cooking. In fact to detroy the PRIONS the accepted standard now is that the temperature needs to be ABOVE 1000 degrees Celsius (1800 degrees f)

Your body /your life /your family’s lives … when it comes to eating deer meat these days.

  2. “Post Fed Market”

    Who recalls the classics?

    A.I. Overview says:

“Donald Trump has repeatedly called for a full “Audit the Fed,” wanting complete transparency and congressional oversight of the Federal Reserve’s monetary policy, often criticizing its independence and decisions, especially regarding interest rates, stating things like the Fed is “crazy” and “out of control”

. He supports legislation like the Federal Reserve Transparency Act (like H.R.24), which mandates the GAO audit the Fed’s operations to expose its inner workings to taxpayers.”

  3. im not sure if many here have been to Alaska and know the real value of Cache.

Through daily Prayer and Meditation I keep my Real Goods stored up High where no mindless critter can take them.

on the topic of the coming collapse:

yesterday i was playing my zombie appocolypse game. My Guild sacked the largest city in the waistland. The Guild voted and Promplty Changed the name to Star Valley.

The Leader of my Guild is from Italy. The second in command is from Germany and we have members from all over the world including japan, south Africa, China, Mongolia, Sweden, UAE, Kuwaite and Canada. not just USA Players.

I do think it is super cool that AI runs the language translator on the game and automatically translates everyone language to the prefrence you select. you have the option to see it in their native language.

I was just there not to long ago, Star Valley Wyoming. kitty corner to Jackson Hole, where the Fed meeting is on occasion.

The Largest City in the waistland??
interesting indication possible of the shape of the Future.

the area is predominently Morman I assure you their community has more food and guns and bullets stashed than anyone on Urban Survival. They are after all “The Latter day saints”. according to my understanding of their faith, they ride out the 7 year tribulation and have planned accordingly. 25 years of food stashed for each member of the house hold and a few guests. That is also the place of the Elk Refuge where there is 500 to 700 free range Elk untouchable and protected.

so, it makes sence in my mind.

Theif steal. that is what they do. liars lie, and Bullies Bully, because that is their nature. I dont act shocked and suprized when they do what they do. I am not a fool who isnt paying attention. You will know them by their works. it doesnt matter what they say, they are going to do what they always do because that is who they are. I dont fault them for their nature.

everyone you know: your wife. your kids. your neighbors. your allies and your enemies, the thieves, the liars, the Bullies, the Honest, the Humble the rightous -> will all die at some point.

What you have done with your life, this portion of alotment you have been given freely to express your true nature, will be seen by all eternity for what it really is.

I do good because I am good. I am honest because I am Honest. I dont take what doesnt belong to me, not even an oil tanker, because that is foolishness and im not a theif. in the end of my days the oil, the tanker will remain here and i will be seen for who i truly am. In Eternity an oil tanker is foolishness. what good is an oil tanker in eternity? in Eternity, I can fly by my will alone. My mind isnt shackled to material things.

In Eternity, I am Spirit and I move like the Wind.

    Lets ask Jimmy,
    No reason to get excited
    The thief, he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke
But, uh, but you and I, we’ve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us stop talkin’ falsely now
    The hour’s getting late, hey……

  4. Can maybe access on mobile next Peoplenomics . Prepared . Looks like I have a ghost site on my lap top for G . Strange but hey thats my life so im working thru it

    • Try using a different browser on your laptop for reaching Peoplenomics. Your problem may be “browser specific”. In the past I ran into that problem once with another website which cleared up when I used a different browser. Computer ghosts and goblins playing with me was my conclusion.

  5. It is flooding Lot up here in the PNW.

All those roads we built to rrpair that ruptured pipeline that fuels seatac airport in the middle of the Blueberry Fields have been washed out. we will have to build them again once the flooding subsides.

oh dang! even More Money. it seems i just cant lose. lol

they are watching 2 dikes up on the skagit river that may go. if so, I am listed and am on standby as part of the emrgency responce crew for shoring up and hauling out Debris in my dumptruck. have my muck boots in the trunk of my car, lunch is all packed might be a 30 to 40 hour shift.

When I asked The Good Lord, Aka THE DUDE to “make it rain” He sure did deliver!

seems fitting in the 30th aniverary of my Baptisim in Christ. also the day of my Oldests Birthday who works for the NSA. its always comforting to have a son working with Eye in the Sky.

the only thing i ever asked him about it was “if they round us all up and send us to the Top secret Halliburtan camps via train? can you pull some strings and make sure i get a window seat.” to which he laughed and said I got you Dad! then he held his finger up and said, and i will make sure you get head of the line privilages for the Guiliteen.” I hugged him and said I knew i raised you right.” he smiled and said “We got You Zero then winked.” i laughed pretty hard.

The thing is i never told my son i come on Urban Survival, and I never once told him i used that handle and he has never seen me ever on glp or the old web bot forums.

so as i sit here, only have 3 more Christmas to purchase, best get busy being about it.

Hope ya all have a very Merry Christmas! Tis the Season to be Jolly!

rememeber, some the biggest presents come in small packages.

    stay humble,

  6. Looks like Hollywood has gone Detroit.

“Disney is investing $1 billion in OpenAI and will grant a license to characters such as Mickey Mouse and Luke Skywalker for OpenAI’s Sora AI video generation tool. This makes Disney the first major content partner for Sora, which allows fans to create videos using over 200 characters from Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars. “

    • Disney is going broke. They keep trying to wokeafy their offerings, and it keeps not working. Their Marvel library is the only one still in the black and they are desperate to have a moneymaking hit from anywhere else. Disney, T-Mobile, and Xfinity have sunk over $200mln in off-ledger AD cash for the latest “Wicked” offering. ‘Seems having a hit and playing “fun with numbers” with the gate is even more important than having an actual moneymaker…

  7. FedEx & UPS deliveries out here in the jungles are hit-or-miss. But postal USPS is great. Peter is our (Jamaican) carrier of choice. The trick is looking for shipping options. Ground (Dis)Advantage sometimes takes 30+ days from the coast to delivery. Searched a dozen vendors to find one that would ship my clothes dryer heater parts via Priority Mail. Got them yesterday.

Notes for Ray. I was able to get the dryer pulled out away from the wall for enough room for me to dumpster-dive behind and remove the back plate. More contortions and I was able to replace the nichrome heater box. The wire made a right-angle kink at the power terminal and that’s where it broke. New unit has visibly larger nichrome wire gauge and no sharp kinks. I also replaced all the thermal switches & fuse as they were included in the parts kit. Good for another 7 years. Hope the motor lasts that long. Warm, dry clothes….. mmmm. And today is a tylenol day for all the contortionist muscles.

    • For some reason, I now have this picture of you in me head, hanging upside down by your ankles on an improvised trapeze bar, with a 10mm and a Phillips screwdriver in your mouth…

  8. yes! only 42 more days till my NEO Start date at Military Sealift Command.

i will still take that dumptruck load of money until then.

that being said We have really Good Plan Charted out and yet, at anytime THE DUDE has my prior permision to alter anything HE seas fit to alter without written or verbal prior notification.

i was talking to a member privately that when you walk in ~ the way ~ of the Astoundingly Miraculous it is damn near impossible to die. you are always in that flow participating in miracles and in doing so you become marinated in Miracles. Saturated by The Living Force that performs the
    Miraculous.

it is almost as if The Presence of That Force, cloaks you in eternal vitality because The Holy Spirit want to show you something new and in doing so, through the experiance, You also become a New.

that is why, every morning the first words out of my mouth when i get our of bed are, ~ I arise Lord Christ to do Thy Will. Be a Lamp unto my feet so i might not stumble and a light unto my path so I will always find the way to the Eternal Glory! ~

and that has served me well.

    because,

    I Win with God within.

  9. That was a very very very after dark session in access . A significant day . We have a word for it but ahh forget about it

  10. Looks like Musk is starting to work on the orbital data centers:

    https://www.zerohedge.com/ai/orbital-data-center-space-race-has-officially-begun

He will be selling orbital data centers for AI. This is not really so novel. Read William Gibson’s “Neuromancer”, circa 1984. No one to enforce safety protocols in orbit. So who would really bid on one of the data centers?
Referencing previous safety discussions, I would expect any entity who wants one to want three.

Waiting now for the deep sea data centers to, er, submerge.

  11. Wow.. I got a treat ..

    • Dude Loob –

Check out the Pancit..noodles and what notz including Chix. Two of my favs..and we will leave it at that.

      YUM!

  12. Please allow equal access for all paying customers.

I am blocked from ‘Reply’ and can only access previous day’s post.

Fix it or should I tell the BBB?

    • 1. You are not “blocked” – I think I know what happened, which I will explain in a sec. but first…
      2. There are no “paying customers” of UrbanSurvival – Peoplenomics is a separate website (and access there is subscription-based).

Now – as to your remark – and those of Andy, too…

The Comments section is managed by WordPress – the content managment system we use.

Comments are “nested” – that is, if I write a column and someone replies to it, that is considered a “top level” response.
If, in turn, someone replies to that [reply] then it indents the remark.
And…here’s what happens after more than a couple of “replies to replies” get ‘nested” – the systme blocks any additional replaies (to replies) because there is a hard block on how many levels of reply are allowed.
At the user end, this refusal to create another [nested layer under a comment] is a “block” but not out of intent or driven editorially – it’s a block due to limitations of software.
      So, to reiterate:
How WordPress Comments Actually Work (Under the Hood)
      1. Comments Are Hierarchical, Not Linear

WordPress stores comments in a tree structure, not a flat list.

      Each comment has:

      its own ID

a comment_parent field pointing to another comment ID (or 0 if top-level)

      So structurally it looks like:

      Post

      Comment A (parent = 0)

      Comment B (parent = A)

      Comment C (parent = B)

      Comment D (parent = C)

      ? Comment E (NOT ALLOWED)

At some point, WordPress says “No more children allowed here.”

      2. The Hard Limit: max_depth

WordPress has a built-in setting called:

      Threaded comments
      Maximum depth

This is not cosmetic — it is enforced in PHP before the comment is written to the database.

      Typical values:

      Default: 5

      Conservative themes: 3

      Aggressive discussion sites: 7–10 (rare)

      Once that depth is reached:

WordPress refuses to create the comment

No error message is reliably shown to the user

The submit button may appear to “do nothing”

To the commenter, that feels exactly like being blocked.

      Why WordPress Enforces This Limit

This isn’t arbitrary. It’s defensive engineering.

      1. Performance Protection

      Deeply nested comments:

      explode DOM size

      cause slow rendering

      break mobile layouts

      hammer low-memory hosting

WordPress was designed for shared hosting, not Reddit-scale debates.

      2. Theme & CSS Constraints

      Most themes:

only style indentation up to a certain depth

stop rendering reply links after the limit

      visually collapse deep replies

Even if WordPress allowed infinite nesting, the page would break.

      3. Anti-Abuse Safeguard

      Unlimited nesting can be weaponized:

      bot reply chains

      visual obfuscation

      comment-tree denial-of-service

So WordPress stops it early and silently.

Why It Feels Like Editorial Control

This is the psychological failure mode:

A reader replies to a reply (works)

      Someone replies again (works)

      Reader tries to respond again

      Nothing happens

No warning, no message, no explanation

The human brain fills the gap:

“They didn’t like what I said.”
      “They shut me up.”
      “This must be subscriber-only now.”

Especially in politically or emotionally charged threads, this is a very common misinterpretation.

Why Peoplenomics vs UrbanSurvival Gets Dragged Into It

      From the outside:

      UrbanSurvival = public

      Peoplenomics = subscription

When a comment fails, people assume:

      access tier

      favoritism

      “paying customers get more rights”

But comments on UrbanSurvival are not tied to Peoplenomics accounts at all.

      They’re handled entirely by:

      WordPress core

      the theme

      the max_depth setting

      Two separate systems. No crossover.

    • Before you call BBB, can you please advise what you pay for Urban Survival. I pay $40 annual for Peoplenomics but Urban is free. I assume you are a Peoplenomics subscriber and would be correct in complaining about not being able to comment on that site.

  13. Interesting explanation.

Except I never had problems in the past, could freely open and reply to all posts, any day any time, including YURE’s!! There are commenters on here who ‘reply’ over 5x per day, no problem, so why isn’t your Word Press algorithm bumping them out?

You obviously haven’t blocked others from viewing your fresh morning ‘fish wrap’ (news). Yet you can only toss me yesterday’s compost.

I have cleared my cache, rebooted restarted etc… All my other visited websites work fine, but not yours.

    • Well, as I explained, I don’t block anyone – and I spent a couple of hours today working on server-side caching issues s0 maybe it will help. I tubed an ad plugin that may have been causing issues. But if you reply to an original post should go through fine. Anyone else noticing slow caching of Urban? I know Google often doesn’t update what I’ve posted until a day – sometimes two – later? I am p[inging them daily when I post now – trying to retrain their webcrawlers to my schedule (googlebot)

    • No real issues here. If you can’t reply to a post, try replying to the post it is nested under, but note the intended recipient/victim at the top of the post.
It can be very difficult to view the nested parent/child hierarchy relationship of posts on a small screen such as an Android browser. Not sure how the site looks under older Soviet or Chinese block state software comm devices. It is easier to follow on a Windows or Linux browser with a larger screen. The Comments don’t appear or act exactly the same on every browser. Try using a widely used recent vintage browser such as Firefox under Linux or Windows 11, rather than some older Soviet or Chinese-block State software.
I have never had problems posting on G____’s site using a VPN, but some VPN’s (and individual servers) are more heavily blocked than Others. If you are being blocked, try a different VPN server, or a different VPN provider. The VPN blocking can occur at several levels, and G_____ may not be cognizant (or in control) of VPN blocking being done by his service providers or state sovereign actors.
There is also sovereign state blocking. For instance, if you are using an offshore VPN which is known to host Stalinist and terrorist leftist political propaganda from your day job, then it is possible you are being blocked by a sovereign state actor (though not necessarily from US sources, which tend to be Stalinist sympathizers). It also may be that your VPN is on to you, and is intermittently blocking.
