New BoB? NTFPM (Near-Term Future Projections Monday)

New BoB?  (Battle of Britain replaying in the Middle East)

A report from our consigliere who is becoming very pessimistic about nukes remaining “holstered” for another month.  When you read his briefing, you’ll understand why:

“The NEW “Battle of Britain” is taking place RIGHT NOW in the skies over Israel and over Iran … but to see that one needs to look at the “Battle Plans” each of the parties are likely using in this battle.

In addition it is also looking more and more like the summer of 1914, Tuchman’s “Guns of August” style, where countries chose up sides and the world ended up stumbling into WW1 without intending to.
What we outside observers saw last night over Israel and Iran was the modern version of a desperate “Battle of Britain” taking place … almost live via TV feeds from Israel and near real time internet video clips from Iran.  Israel says it has full control over Tehran’s skies as both sides continue strikes – live updates – BBC News
The short version of the War Plans of both parties is likely this:
  • Israel’s “Decapitation Strike” against Iran failed … Iran retained enough missile launchers to engage in multiple  rocket launch volleys so as use their battle plan of
  • Exhausting Israels Patriots (and it’s other missile defense rockets) and the US THADS  so they can then go after Israel’s Air Force using missile volley after missile volley to destroy Israel’s Air Force planes as they land to refuel /rearm.
(Israel’s true military power is it’s Air Force … if that gets destroyed Israel becomes almost defenseless against even slow drone attacks, of which Iran has several ten’s of thousands PLUS Israel’s  ground forces will lose their air support which is what Israel has used to destroy Gaza in the south and Hezbollah in Southern Lebanon.  “IF” Iran can neutralize Israel’s air force then it appears it wants to make Israel look like the way they have made Gaza look)
Iran fired multiple smaller rocket volleys last night but the one fired from about 9:05 to about 9:20 ESDT (towards the end of the night in Iran – Iran is 7.5 hours ahead of the US, Israel 7) was the most impressive with them reportedly firing 100 missiles in about a 15 minute period (one reports says “only 90” were in that volley).  Israel announced the incoming volley, telling it’s citizens to get to their bunkers at the same time video was starting to appear on X of the Iranian missile volley being fired.  (Explosions and damage across Israel as Iran launches fresh air strikes)
10 minutes later you could see the battle over Israel’s skies taking place LIVE via the internet video feeds from Israel as the interceptors took out many of the missiles even as at the same time some landed.  It appeared the targets were in or near the cities, NOT the Israeli airfields … and were chosen so that Israel and the US would HAVE to use the interceptor missiles that they had so as to protect Israel’s urban areas.
The limiting issue for Iran with it’s apparent battle plan is not the number of missiles … but the number of missile launchers it has available … and with such large volleys of missiles being fired nearly simultaneously from across Iran and Israel being 1500 to 2000 km away Israel can’t have enough air assets in the air over Iran to strike the multiple launch sites so as to take out the remaining several hundred Iranian launchers when they appear from their hiding places so as to fire their rockets.  Related: Europeans rush drone-based radar jammers in effort to supplant US tech.
Adding to the direct battle last night, it appears that Iran is currently winning, ie: the modern “Battle of Britain”,  Israel and the US forces in Israel appear to be running out of defensive rockets to use to shoot down incoming Iranian missiles.
What is the state of Iran’s missile stock, if they can keep their launchers working?   Unknown but assumed to be thousands, launchers being the limiter for Iran.
What is the state of Israel’s defensive missile stock?  Unknown but…
The “tell” to me that Israel is running out of defensive rockets was the fact that last night the US Air Force began what appears to be massive resupply effort heading towards the Middle East.
Last night the US had 50 C-17’s /C5’s /Tankers up and ALL were heading towards the Northeast US or out over the Atlantic (some on-ground reports said not all of the planes taking off near the East Coast were turning on their ADSB transponders since they were visually seen them taking off but then they didn’t appear on the screen as being airborne). WWIII: Dozens Of American Air Refueling Aircraft Depart For Europe – Armed Forces Press
Clearly the US is now emptying out IT’S domestic warehouse stores of anti-missile missiles and sending them to Israel … warehouses that had already been tapped hard to supply Ukraine over the last 3 years. (and production of those anti-missile rockets is SLOW)
Do we have enough stores of anti-missile missiles to help Israel outlast the Iranian missile assault?  I doubt it.
Once you understand the Iranian Defensive Plan to Israel’s attack you can understand how the battle is shaping up … so we wait and see, for another 3 to 5 days, then we can determine if Iran’s battle plan works and they are able to break the back of Israel’s anti-missile defenses and then go after Israel’s Air Force on the ground (via missiles).
If Iran can break the back of Israel’s missile defense shield, Trump will face a decision as to if the US is going to get actively involved in the War or let Israel be effectively bombed as badly as we bombed Germany in WW2 (or as Israel has bombed Gaza). (with no direct border with Israel I doubt Iran would try to physically invade Israel.)
That also raises the question whether Israel’s Air Force, it’s most powerful military asset, will be destroyed via the second or third wave of Iranian missile attacks. We are still in the first wave, so will Israel pull it’s nuclear weapons out of their bunkers and utilize those against Iran  … and maybe even it’s next door neighbors too?
Cornered rats will fight like hell and Israel may change to that mindset if the US isn’t already directly involved by that point; when it starts to lose it’s Air Force to Iranian missiles.
From where I sit (while on vacation in the near wilderness) the odds now favor Israel/US NOT having enough anti-missile missiles to defeat the Iranian battle plan thus placing Israel in a near defenseless situation wrt an ongoing missile barrage without outside help. Without outside help Israel would imo then probably decide to drag it’s nuclear weapons out from their bunkers as Iran begins to win the “Battle of the Rockets”.   This should become clear in just the next few days – probably 3 to 5 – maybe by Friday.
Hang on tight… Trump’s hands are going to be FORCED to have the US enter the War, the AIPAC will do everything it can to ensure that, at which time Israel’s CHOICE to go to War will drag a mostly unwilling US into that War right behind it.  Summer of 1914 repeat?  Sure looks like that is how the current events are rhyming with history from 111 years ago.
The Tail wagging the Dog,”

A.I. – A Different Take

The consigliere dispatch is a human assessment.  There is a risk (which we think real now) that A.I. could end up having a decisive role in future events directing the present conflict to get out of hand.  Our AI stack, for example, suggests:

“The situation remains volatile, but a Battle of Britain-style depletion followed by air attacks appears unlikely based on current dynamics.”

But the A.I. assessment could be misleading because it “eats” (as inputs) news reports in the mainstream media.  Which, in turn, may be colored by “advocacy reporting.”  Leading AI to reckon this way:

“Israel’s air defense systems, including Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow 2/3, rely on interceptors like Tamir, Stunner, and Arrow missiles. Since June 13, 2025, Iran has fired over 270 ballistic missiles, with Israel intercepting most, though 22 evaded defenses by June 15. Posts on X suggest a possible decline in interception rates from 70-80% to 20-30% in recent waves, hinting at potential strain on interceptor stocks, but these claims lack corroboration. Historical data indicates Israel intercepted 97-98% of 35,000 rockets and missiles fired over 600 days, primarily using Iron Dome, which uses Tamir interceptors costing $40,000-$150,000 each. The U.S. has provided $500 million annually for these systems, and a new Arkansas factory will produce 2,000 interceptors yearly by 2026, suggesting ongoing replenishment efforts.”

The judgment question is to what extent could A.I. make bad assessments based on partisan inputs?

Might the same type of systemic risk also exist in finance? Where human analysts in the loop might see a risk in evolving chart patterns, for example. While A.I. could underweight – and thus miscalculate – the longer-term outcomes?

Educational times, these.  And the fallout is just beginning. Nuclear agency chief warns of radiological, chemical contamination inside Iran’s main nuclear site.

Changing Times, Changing Rhymes

We’re reminded in the evolution of nuclear strategy that “automated” systems have never been fully implemented (even Russia’s Dead Hand (Perimeter) system). Humans in the loop.  But A.I. – if it’s eating at a controlled media trough, could be poisoned.  Those not aware could find human decision-making colored (missing the HUMINT aspects of Battle of Britain – pattern recognition) until it’s too late to react.

Whew! Warfare is certainly evolving: With drones, hypersonics, and now aspects of the MSM feeding into A.I. which might then influence strategic outcomes through pattern deception…

Against this background, the G7 is meeting today in Canada.  I think you know the right theme music for that one, right?

This is a very good time to notice how some people are closely tracking the lock-up of the political murder suspect in Minnesota as being more important than prospects of global nuclear war.  We respectfully disagree. Besides, once you read the headline Man suspected of shooting Minnesota lawmakers arrested after huge manhunt, that’s about all the headspace it deserves.

NTFPM (Near-Term Future Projections Monday)

Sizing up the Future can be fun.  Other times, you run into week’s like this one; a lot more complicated to make sense of.  Your intrepid reporter will, however, give it a run. Because “futurizing” is a cheaper dopamine rush than, eBay, for example.

We begin with the baseline financial data, since making (or losing) money is one way to assess one’s expertise at “future calling.”

  • Stocks will likely open up.  Early Dow futures were looking 200-points skyward with the S&P 30 points up on the launch pad.  Not surprising, given the market fall-off ahead of the weekend based on the fear-buzz Friday.
  • Cryptos (BTC 111,682 last Thursday, 107,153 today) were trying not to look like a short-term top was in.  Stories like Vietnam Legally Defines Crypto in Newly Approved Legislation is sure to drive the global adoption hype. Which is fine, as long as you haven’t found McCanney’s method for discovering prime numbers and can’t wrap your head into quantum computing.
  • As the “headliners” make their best efforts, though, more reliable indicators (gold and silver, say) are treading water waiting for real news – due along later this week. Gold and copper were down a smidgen while silver and platinum were rising.
  • The New York Fed Empire State numbers are just out: “The headline general business conditions index fell seven points to -16.0. New orders and shipments declined. Delivery times held steady, and supply availability worsened. Inventories were little changed.”
  • The only other Big Variable in the baseline is weather. Because it – in turn – drives global food production.  And most financial sorts don’t  pay enough attention, in our view, to the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates.  The latest report (out last week) is one to flag going into fall and 2026 because we worry (almost constantly) about global famine in the wings.

So, a “Battle of Britain” analog and the baseline.  Here’s how the rest of the week will roll.

The Tuesday Track

  • The FOMC meeting opens.  Speculation all over the place.  We think no change but we’re only one big international showdown from all-bets are off.
  • Retail Sales will be announced by Census. This is likely to have some influence on the Fed deliberations.  If sales come in too weak, odds of a rate drop may increase. But we still have questions on the side about how “non-partisan” the Fed can be.
  • Then we get some import and export prices.  This is a dollar-denominated report, so look for impacts behind their curtain with changing currencies over time.
  • Then the juicy stuff: Fed Industrial Production and Cap Utilization.  If MAGA is real, it should show up in these numbers one of these first years…

Wednesday Wobbles

  • 2 PM Eastern the Fed announcement on rates.  Somerwhere in here, a Trump decision on US involvement in an Iran war could come into focus, which would given financial interests a “cause to hide behind” if the rate decision doesn’t play well. I.e., blame Trump.
  • Wednesday is also a Bank Reserve Settlement day and we’ve warned for years that this is loosely associated with higher market volatility.  Not following?

Bank reserve settlement days, when banks must balance their reserve accounts with central banks, often correlate with increased financial market volatility due to heightened liquidity demands and adjustments in short-term interest rates. This can lead to fluctuations in asset prices as market participants react to changing funding conditions.  And it’s on Rate Day. Seat Belts and Tray Tables…yada, yada.

  • Due to Juneteenth Thursday, the weekly jobless filings will pop a day early this week, too.

Thursday – Partial Holiday

  • Post Offices will be closed. If you’re waiting for that Publisher’s Clearinghouse letter, take a day off.
  • Many banks will be closed.
  • UPS and FedEx will operate as usual on Juneteenth, with normal pickup and delivery services available.
  • Parking Meter enforcement will be mixed.  Many cities, like NYC and L.A. will usually not enforce fees. But Chicago usually does.  If you see racism in Chicago’s charging fees for parking on a federal holiday while being a sanctuary city…yeah, let’s put that one aside for now.

Friday Frets

  • Canadian Retail Sales come out.  Which sounds like a big deal (I mean, it’s a whole country, right?).  But it’s not. Texas’s GDP is larger than Canada’s. If Texas were a country, its economy would be ranked as the 8th largest globally, surpassing Canada. Texas’s nominal GDP is estimated at $2.7 trillion, while Canada’s is around $2.330 trillion.  And we don’t bash truckers or seize handguns.
  • The Philly Fed manufacturing report also comes out. This one demonstrates Fed PR Star Power. Pennsylvania’s GDP reached $818.5 billion.  Three Pennsylvania’s to equal an Ottawa?

    • When I first landed in Sausalito it was after a few months of roaming the country. I didn’t know anyone., not a friend in sight. My communication skills were terrible – I had just spent 30 months as a Ranger at an FOB in Vietnam., broken English, military slang, cuss words and Vietnamese – I purposely had to think about what I was going to say – or you would not understand me. To this day if I screw-up or smash a finger with a concrete paver I can let loose a string of Vietnamese cuss words that would make a street-walker blush.
One conversation and doing a favor for a friend changed the course of my life. My training, skills and experience were once again an asset., not a mental deficit. I still had my problems., sleep was hard to come by.., but I had something, now, that had meaning and a purpose to it.., not just wandering down the road of life trying to get along, earning a paycheck and make ends meet. I had something to do. Something that was helpful – to a lot of people that were out-matched, or had no way to help themselves.
Whether you believe it, or not ? – well, that’s entirely up to you. If it was simply “entertaining”.., good enough.
      Take care.

      feat: L’Chaim (“To Life”)

      BCP,
One of the weekend images which caught my eye was the webcam feed from the Chaim Institute in Tel Aviv. A nighttime field of view looking out towards a glass tower faded to black as an incoming projectile impacted nearby. Daylight revealed that the facade had been blown off an entire side of the post-graduate educational institution dedicated to an Israeli Wizard of Oz. One imagines that in-person classes are cancelled for the foreseeable future.

Mr. Chaim began his turn on this rock in a Tsarist Russian Empire and ended up as the first President of Israel. His cv has him amongst colleagues of London Rothschilds and ptb’s of Westminster leading to the 1917 Balfour Declaration. He does not appear to be of or for the minions. The British WW1 machine was indebted to Mr. Chaim’s “industrial fermentations” such as cordite. Mr. Chaim’s potent brews appear to be returning unanticipated dividends?

      Cheers!

      • re: Ayatollah’s set list

        Folks,
A couple of hours ago an alleged account of the Iranian military offered a public service announcement of tonight’s planned missile agenda in English and Hebrew for denizens of Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv. The city appears to be of a largely ultra-Orthodox Jewish demographic.

Bnei Brak is said to derive from Benebarek (“Sons of Barak”) [not of Obama], declared to be a “land of milk and honey” when visited upon by Neo-Assyrian King Sennacherib (“Moon god has replaced the brothers”). The King reigned from Ninevah between 705bc and 681bc.

As an aside, the weekend publicly displayed Chinese military cargo flight from Guangzhou disappearing at the Iranian border does not appear to have released a public copy of its manifest as yet.

Seems like we’re witnessing some bizarre version of “Family Feud” showdown. Neither side has been able figure out the answer to #5 on the first tablet: “Thou shall not kill”.

    • “Dont be duped ! A bogus letter, indeed, to Italian revolutionary Giuseppe Mazzini, was fabricated by man named Carr, a conduit for the puppet master, but no prophet, in 1958.”

      Wrong!!!

Nostradamus and The Third Age of Mars 2024, G. A. Stewart, 2023, Page 85
The doubters and critics of this letter always bring up the author William Guy Carr’s two books, Pawns in the Game and Satan: Prince of This World, because he included quotes from the letter in both of these books.12 His views were labeled Antisemitic.

However, there was the First Arab-Israeli War in 1948. There was the Second Arab-Israeli War during the Suez Crisis in 1956. There was the Third Arab-Israeli War called the Six Day War in 1967. Finally, there was the Fourth Arab-Israeli War called the Yom Kippur War in 1973.

Carr died in 1959, however, he was alive when the newly founded Israel began to clash with the Muslim world.

The August 15th, 1871 Albert Pike letter also happens to be mentioned in the 1925 book, The Mystery of Freemasonry Unveiled, by the Cardinal of Chile, JoseÌ MariÌa Caro RodriÌguez. I have this book; therefore, I can verify that the 1871 Albert Pike reference appears to be real.

  7. Yes, Israel will lose its Air Force; it’s in all my books going back to 2007.

    Scary times ahead.

    Nostradamus Quatrain VIII-96
The Synagogue [Jerusalem] sterile, bearing no fruit,
Will be received the infidels entering,
Of Babylon the daughter of pursuit,
Miserable and sad her wings severed.

Nostradamus and The Third Age of Mars 2024, G. A. Stewart, 2023 Page 1,118
The last line “Misère et tristesse lui tranchera l’ailes” may read better as, “Misery and sadness sever her wings”.

I believe that this applies to Russia’s use of its new S-400 antiaircraft missile system in Syria. Israel’s Air Force is going to have its “wings severed.”

Nostradamus and The Age of Desolation, G. A. Stewart, 2013, Page 613
After the humiliating defeat of NATO forces in the Persian Gulf, China and Russia will move quickly to secure their borders and a reasonable buffer beyond. Any Western opposition could lead to the strategic and sporadic use of nuclear weapons.

This leads to the long held prediction and belief that Jerusalem will be invaded by countries from the north.

In Quatrain VIII-96, which precedes the first mention of the
“AllPowerful One”, we find the prediction of the persecuted of Babylon and the destruction of the Israeli Air Force in the coming war with Iran.

    • CONFIRMED: The USS Nimitz aircraft carrier strike group is on its way to the Middle East from the South China Sea, a U.S. official tells Fox News. The Nimitz was previously scheduled to replace the USS Carl Vinson carrier strike group which has been deployed for several months, but is now heading to the Middle East ahead of schedule. The two will now be in the Middle East at the same time.

G.A. STEWART: Readers should also note that I have just completed another YouTube video regarding my warnings to the U.S. Navy. There are so many connections to each major Nostradamus prophecy that most of these videos cannot be simplified and compressed into five-minute sound and visual bites. The sinking of two U.S. naval fleets is one of those
      predictions.

      https://theageofdesolation.com/nostradamus/2025/03/23/the-difference-between-checkers-and-check/

    • Events are definitely clicking into place to make the Gog/Magog invasion a real possibility. The passage in Ezekiel does point to Israel being unable to defend itself, and no one coming to help.

Further down in the passage, though, God promises to personally take action to end the invasion, in ways that can leave no doubt as to who’s doing it. Whoever comes down from the north will be the designated loser.

Christian scholars who advocate the pre-tribulation removal (i.e. rapture) of believers believe it will happen before the Gog/Magog invasion, because the removal is prophesied (in Luke) to occur “as in the days of Lot”, when people were going about their business as usual, until suddenly all hell broke loose. Once the war starts, it will not be business as usual for anyone anymore. There are other interpretations of how this could unfold. I’m not gonna argue; I just hope the interpretation above is the correct one.

  8. What is not considered in the examination, is the people of Iran taking this moment to revolt against the government forces. If that happens, the war effort against Israel is over.

    • considering a career in politics or intelligence? apply USA at langley or telaviv . fat chance of revolution but hey lets make up some lies !!!!

    • Chris, I’ve been waiting for this, for more than a generation. The Iranian people essentially begged Clinton, GW, and Obama to support their revolts. We said we would — then we didn’t. A lot of both elderly and student-age Iranians died because they believed the U.S. would support them in a bid to overthrow the Ayatollahs. I thought it was utterly stupid, that we had a force of hundreds of thousands of highly-motivated Iranian refugees (freedom fighters) who, with a couple months of training, small arms, and a guarantee of air support were just waiting for us to insert them so they could reclaim their nation.

Netanyahu is encouraging the Iranian People to revolt but I don’t expect them to do so unless Trump guarantees them U.S. support or Israel takes out all the Ayatollahs, or the ICA (or both.) There’s lots of stuff going on in the ME right now which will never make any substack, let alone the “news.”

Trump bailed early on the G-7 because Iran begged him to negotiate a peace deal with Israel. His initial comment was: “I gave them 60 days to negotiate…” I don’t know how to read this, and don’t expect to have a birdie clue me in, until whatever will be, already is. Apparently, he has called on the Iranian People to immediately and completely evacuate Teheran but again, I don’t know if that’s a warning or a gambit…

      • “The Iranian people essentially begged Clinton, GW, and Obama to support their revolts” = horse hockey.
        Bullscheisse extroidinare.

REVOLUTION G- eniuses – Shah was hated, was CIA, did I mention HATED.

IRAN – The Revolution, protest, and REJECTION of western hegemony. Key word here is REJECTION.

Recomend a Thesaurus – as it would be of help and assistance here.

  9. “Israel’s “Decapitation Strike” against Iran failed ”

The God has turned his or her back on Israel and now favors Iran? What was the root cause? Perhaps Gaza – instead of gladder and gladder/madder and madder.

Or perhaps in the invisible plane a hierarchy change was made in the God pecking order. The God of Abraham is no longer in charge of the Earth Realm?

Will Americans demand Trump bomb Iran? Stay tuned.

  10. D’Lynn, What a great story! Thanks for the read. I visualized you wearing a black tee, jeans. and sneakers. No cowboy hat that time. I, too, would love to read more.

It was a very clever way to get rid of them, with no lives lost.

    • Thanks.
I honestly can not remember what I was wearing. More than likely – my black cowboy boots, blue jeans and a military OD Green field jacket [ lots of pockets.]
I never did put on a Ninja suit. Never thought of it., or I might have.

  11. BIC : “Not sure if this was fact or fiction but well written and entertaining” Though possibly better, best, to allow the Author time to reply, a guess. Officially it’s fiction. Unofficially, well, Pale Rider.

I understand desire to ascribe timeline to future. It just doesn’t work for me yet. I must be doing something wrong? The current confluence of events is the essence of dynamic so impossible to game out. At all. Yes, we have a supply and resupply issue. It will get worse before it gets better. We have a lot. There are ways to win against complex systems and most of that is held in reserve (non traditional).

We walk some fine lines all at the same moment. War (all of them). Let’s not. We need a happy ending. Like:

“… it all worked out. The bad guys lost …”

  12. Sharmine Narwani says,

“The USS Nimitz is being sent to the region for Israel to sink it, for US politicians to blame Iran, and then launch direct war on Iran. You NEVER send big targets like aircraft carriers into waters when your adversary has missiles that can easily target an expensive asset.”

    • well its made for war use it !! what do you want to do turn it into a floating museum or restaurant ? sheesh

      • Might save 5000 Saliors lives if they were turn it into floating museum of Sitting Ducks/Outdated Warwagons. Oh well them Squids understand the small print on the back their Enlistment contracts.

Just be more KIA’s to memorialize come Veterans Day, “Stack em deep, and Killem Cheap”, I always say.

One hypersonic anti-ship missile oughta take care of that old floating rust bucket of a Ship. Tween Russia & Chynah tech&hardware support- odds are Yemen or Iran will score a direct hit. They couldnt handle Yemeni missile & drone onslaughts and had to retreat very north of the Red Sea to get out of harms way. That area is not out of reach of Hypersonic midrange missile (s).

Very fugly scenario coming into view..Ugly and Sad.

Aint it wonderful LD ? A front row seat to world zionisms final solution?

        • i detest war and fanatical elitist religions . this is so bad whats going on but hey certain groups started it . must be resolved . peacefully ? doubt it .

      • Sharmine Narwani is parroting, no rhyming with what others said over time.

Fatima secrets next? Ha!, no, BOO!

    • I enjoy your posts.

I think emotions got you on this one.

Da boys in Kochevnik (spetnazties) received a new powerful (man portable) infared Laser system this Month.

Observers recorded its use in the Donesk and Pokrovsk directions last week. Described as mysterious and powerful – another breakthru advancement in Carbuncle and Drone warfare.

  15. re: Vienna Walz
    feat: pick a partner

    Folks,
Today Heidenplatz Square is closed in Vienna, Austria. Authorities respectfully advise citizens to avoid the area. President Zelensky and his First Lady are meeting the President and First Lady of Austria. Resplendent images can already be located on a President’s Telegram account. One such captured moment in time depicts the two Presidents gazing out a window towards the Hapsburg Dynasty edifice of Neue Berg. Its large terrace above the main entrance is formally known as the Altan. However since the declaration of the Anchluss on March 15, 1938, its location is more commonly referenced as Hitler’s Balcony. Nearby Regierungsgebäude (“Government Building”) which served as the War Ministry from 1938 until 1945 was subsequently refurbished. A welcoming inscription by Austria’s national poet and friend of Beethoeven remains extant upon the structure: “In deinem Lager ist Österreich” (Austria is in your camp).

Further tour imagery is anticipated once participants arrive for the pending Carneyval in Canada. One trusts that unlike in 2023 the Ukrainian Canadian Congress will avoid inviting a WW2 veteran of the nazi Ukrainian ss-waffen galicia regiment to this episode of the G7’s “Dancing with the Stars”.

Please ensure that you have negotiated chair occupancy before music stops prior to main event festivities. Rush seating is not guaranteed.

    • re: Kananaskis, Alberta
      feat: dine ‘n dash

Woah, hold the tunes, DJ George! What a top-shelf negotiating move. Have half a dozen G7 leaders along with specially invited guests such as President’s Zelensky, Modi, and Sheinbaum-Pardo – who really only want to see You – travel to a remote Canadian wilderness setting accessed by one highway. Shake a few hands, grab a bite of dinner, and…leave early for home. Wow.

“Kananaskis” derives from the Cree word “Kin-e-a-kis” which is assigned a couple of meanings. One is “meeting of the waters”. The second is the name of an Aboriginal warrior who survived a head injury.

  16. The one unexpected capability which Israel has is its drone fleet. The fleet itself is not unexpected. What is unexpected is that as the situation became heated, the Mossad launched what were normally recon drones that were ‘offensively’ armed with explosive warheads and directed at Iranian targets by Mossad operatives ‘from inside of Iran’ and with great effect. Most believed Israel only had recon drones. The Mossad showed these folks to be greatly mistaken.

Similarly, any future assault or response against Iran can and likely will use drones as well as rockets. Drones may not be as powerful/destructive as missile warheads, but they are capable of much more precision and can be retargeted mid-flight in real-time. The drones, using battlefield intelligence, can also be retargeted to take out Iranian missile launchers, negating their future utility. Quickly arising ‘targets of opportunity’ can also be addressed by the steerable drones. Over time, the low cost drone attrition versus that of Iran’s high cost missile systems could prove to make a significant difference in the conflict’s outcome.

Israel is also known to have 5 Dolphin class diesel electric submarines and one Dakar class sub. The Dolphin missile tubes are capable of launching cruise missiles. Many speculate that Israel has the capability to deploy nuke warheads on these sub cruise missiles. But conventional warheads can do the trick if the missiles strikes are stealthy and unexpected.

Anyone who counts Israel out of this or any fight is gravely mistaken. They are fighting for the survival of their nation, and the entire military lives by the post-WWII mantra elicited at their induction – “never again.”

    • See Pentagon on 911

want a picture of missile hitting ? I have one on home screen, right next to photo of molten GRANITE under twin towers after 911. I look at both everyday to REMEMBER, to never Forget.

Huge blood DEBT OWED – IT will be COLLECTED.

  17. If oil goes to the moon the folks around here who have become completely dependent on it for electricity and transportation will be rightly in the poo. There are far more small gas powered boats than cars and they are essential to move around for shopping and social life. Paddles and canoes are for fun now and there are very few sailing craft beyond the fleet of charter boats (that can’t really be called ‘sail’ boats). In a pinch they could be used for light cargo and people movement.
Diesel and gasoline is the life blood here. War may be far away but the effects will be felt if it gets as crazy as possible.
And for sure, I’d venture that nine of ten who live on this island have zero idea of what is going in the world, or much care.

Hank… thanks so much for the clue in on the skin stuff. Will sort that out and have our crew that’s coming soon bring some. All knowledge is welcomed.
    Stiks

    • Second the shout out to The Flying Hawaiian for the skin care tip.

      Thanks Hank.

Been battling the “multi colored fungus for years..” with Ketoconazole creams and shampoos. Next flare up – be hittting it wit the Hibaclens. Thx

  18. As of February 2025, there are approximately 19,722,500 BTC in circulation, with about 1.5 million bitcoins left to be mined out of a total capped supply of 21 million. The last bitcoin is expected to be mined around the year 2140.
“Strategy” just bought another billion dollars worth of bitcoin., bringing their total to 592,100 ‘coins’. [Roughly 3 percent of all ‘coins’ currently in circulation.] By far, the largest holder of bitcoin., by anyone. No one else is even close. The nearest corporation is Mara Holdings at 48,137 coins. Tesla has just over 11,000
    “Strategy” now holds $63,946,800,000 worth of bitcoins. [ 63.5 billion $ ]

Sounds like the Bitcoin left for sale is getting splintered into tinier bits as we speak:
‘According to current estimates, 99% of all Bitcoin will have been mined by 2035, but the final fraction — the last satoshis — won’t be produced until around the year 2140 due to the nature of geometric reward reduction.
‘Did you know? Bitcoin’s supply curve is not terminal in the traditional sense. It follows an asymptotic trajectory — a kind of economic Zeno’s paradox — where rewards diminish indefinitely but never truly reach zero. Mining will continue until around 2140, by which point over 99.999% of the total 21 million BTC will have been issued.’

  20. I’ve started sandbagging some 12VDC water pumps and filters for potable water production onsite. I am in possession of, or in the process of procuring a couple of Seaflo 12 VDC pumps. One will have a brisk flow rate for gathering duty, and a second lower flow pump with an accumulator will be for household duty.
I am getting a couple of Culligan filter housing (and spare o-rings) with silt filters and carbon filters. The silt filter is for gathering, the carbon filter is for post-batch-chlorination.
I would like to hear BIC’s best recommendation for batch treating a 55 gallon plastic drum for potable water.
I have several different ways to get 12 VDC, some sustainable, some not so much.
I have a hand drum pump already. I probably need a spare. I also need to look into more storage.

  21. Trump is leaving the G7 early to address the situation in the ME and convene a National Security Council meeting. Here in Australia we are gearing up for joint military exercises with the US, Japan and India. The exercises were set to take place next month. There’s probably a good chance now that it will be cancelled – and then what? This would have left the Pacific region with assets focussed along our entire northern coastline from Indonesia to Papua New Guinea.

  22. re: tempests in teapots?
    feat: Dialogue Among Civilizations

    Folks,
Thanks to a 2024 Chinese diplomatic move at the UN, last Tuesday heralded the first International Day for Dialogue Among Civilizations. Therefore this past Friday saw a Chinese tea and costume event held in London to mark the special occasion.

Chinese state-owned broadcast subsidiary CGTN Europe, based at Chiswick Park, attended the event. Chiswick Park is a 33 acre parcel of land in west London formerly owned by the UK Rothschild family. As an aside, one might recall the recently wedded-last-Saturday Soros-Abedin duo allegedly first met at a soiree hosted by the 6th Baron Rothschild Presumptive and Lady Rothschild (née Hilton). The Chiswick property changed ownership a couple of times becoming a Blackrock holding. Finally China Investment Company purchased the land, had it re-developed, and manage it silently in the background.

The UK Chinese Embassy joined forces with the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology in presentation of the tea party show. The shindig took place at Mint Centre, part of the Chinese Embassy, adjacent to the Tower of London. Prior to its recent reincarnation as the Chinese Embassy, the historical edifice most recently housed the Royal Mint. The 5.5 acre site originally accomodated St. Mary of Graces Abbey from 1348 until 1539 when it became part of the Crown Estate. The Grade II listed edifice presently standing as Royal Mint Court on the site began as a plan in 1798 under King George III. According to “Europe Real Estate”, China made an unsolicited offer to HM QE2 for both the property and land in 2018 which was accepted. One understands that the transaction was a very civilized affair.
