Minnesota Showtime and CWL

A few thoughts this morning extending the research from Friday on the odds of a Civil War Lite (CWL) riff from the Minnesota outrage this week.

As usual, we keep the “systems hat” on. But even for the public, the simple taekout from Friday was “As long as stocks are going up, Walz and company are a midway-style distraction.”  Maybe so.

It’s when the markets take a hike – the administrative coherence becomes a question – that’s when…well, more on that as we dive into the shallow end.

Because the ChartPack is the real deep end…

        G.A. Stewart may have pointed out elsewhere that aquilo is Latin for the “north wind” from the Roman north wind god. His Greek god equivalent is Boreas related to Borysthenes/Dnieper/Dnipro.

        Pardon my impudence, but may I suggest that Nostradamus’s printer perhaps made an error with the word “nanat”. If Nostradamus wrote his manuscript in Gothic cursive, maybe his single minim character “r” reached printed page as two minim character “n”. If so then the Ossetian Nart Epics may warrant consideration. The ancient oral histories only entered print in the 19th century.     “The Mrs” was feeling a little down yesterday after lunch.., and if you remember, her new nick-name for me is: “The Orc Task Master from the Bowels of Mordor.” Regarding my relentless pursuit to her physical rehab. Which has paid off nicely.
    So.., I started cracking jokes about the “Orc Task Master”.., well., she got to laughing so hard she slipped right out of bed and landed flat on her skinny little butt. Which started me laughing.., which of course was a mistake.
    Still snickering, I scooped her up and put her back into bed..,
    Quickly, she picked up a box of tissues from the night stand and threw it at me.., “You’re evil !”.., then picked-up the clock-radio., “Oh, wait.., I need that..,” and grab a magazine instead & tossed that at me…,
    I left the room, quickly, still snickering…,

    All is well- I made her a special spiked eggnog., she ‘reluctantly’ forgave me.
