In all, a ton of work. Plus, while all this has been piling on, there’s the downward drift in Markets – which we’ll explore in more than two dozen pages of the ChartPack .PDF today.

Notas long as last Tuesday’s report, but you won’t need a grounding in medicine to follow-along, either.

    If you recall,I’ve been on here telling you about gold and the Phillies since 2008.The fortunes of both the metal and the team can be superimposed since gold’s re-legalization in 1975.I posted a sell signal on here in late 2011 and a buy signal on here in Mar.2019.Those moves were in concert with the Phillies’ fortunes.
    The only time that I was ever involved was from 73-75,when I owned some ASA LTD South African shares and 4 Mexican 50 peso coins.Sadly,I sold both long before I discovered the correlation.

        • Interesting side bit about the Ponies.

          Horse racing was on the ropes awhile back … but now tracks have a better Tie In to the gambling industry and things are looking up, BIG TIME.

          Many tracks now have slot machines at their tracks so in addition to betting on the ponies at the track itself between races you can go give your money to the slots.

          With LOTS more “Off Track Betting” locations that have the races running live on the screens around the room the race tracks are now getting a nice payment from that end of gambling business too.

          As a result of the vast expansion of the gamgling industry purses are WAY UP for the regular races (think 10x !!) and people in the industry, which for most owners was a money losing “hobby” for several dacades, are actually making MONEY $$ GOOD MONEY!!

          NOPE …. I have never owned a race pony, though I have been offered shares in them a number of times over my life and a few of those offered were actually good enough, before the current huge boost in the industry’s profitablity, that they actually covered their stable bills, their training bills, and their jockey fees (only about 10% – 20% of the horses 30 years ago could do that).

          For those who own the Racing Ponies it is a LOVE affair. NO logic to it from what I have seen over the decades. Except for the trainers historically a nice way to lose money in a steady stream year after year. after year.

    • Well Vic, we missed the big storm last week in the northern part of our province but making up for it today here. So far, we have had snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain accompanied by thunder and lightening. Now we have high winds blowing ice coated trees and power lines around. I think you now how that ends.

  5. I’ve swapped over to tea on weekdays. Maybe a couple of cups of full strength Chai in the morning, and decaf afterwards. Decaf green tea in the evening.
    I drink decaf coffee for breakfast out maybe one day a week. I don’t miss the caffeine.

    The man doing this video has been investigating AI, CERN, and other oddities of our brave new world for some years now. I don’t always agree with everything he says, but the facts he presents are well worth considering.
    The short clip of Gordy Rose is from a recruiting pitch he delivered to a room full of college seniors roughly ten years ago. Gordy was the money man behind the D-Wave quantum computer. He told the students that D-Wave wasn’t a computer, but rather a means of “summoning intelligence from another dimension.”. He further stated this alien intelligence is not like us, is far more intelligent than we are, that we won’t be able to control it, but we’re doing this anyway, so you may as well be on board.     Now for anyone who believes the Word of God, this should open your eyes to the dangers of AI. For all others, FAFO, much as it grieves me to say it.

          Your suggestion sent me in a different direction. I also initially encountered difficulty locating RfB’s videos. Curiously at least one of his backup accounts created in 2020 on the Odysee platform only saw first activity in the past couple of weeks. A recent video upload features a willow logo title (inverted menorah?).

          Around the time RfB was setting up shop on Odysee in 2020, the platform’s parent -LBRY – onboarded its vp of growth Mr. Chandra from China’s TikTok. LBRY’s defunct website suggests its name in part derives from an American Revolutionary late 1770’s era Judge’s son, Samuel Bryan. He wrote letters against the new US Constitution under the pseudonym “Centinel”. LBRY intended to have one billion crypto LBRY credits (lbc) awarded and mined over 20 years.

          According to “Wikipedia”, the SEC sued in 2021 arguing lbc’s are unregistered securities. A judge agreed and LBRY wound down.     We just had another, a little better than 6.0 in Japan. It was in a remote region and did very little damage., and no deaths have been reported.

  11. As I continued my spring cleaning, I have formulated a rule for dealing with shoes and boots. If I haven’t worn ’em for 15 years, and I haven’t looked for or seen them in 10, maybe it’s time to put them to the curb when I uncover. It’s not like I’m hoarding them to wear to an apocalypse. Three trash bags full bit the dust this weekend. I think I rooted out the last of them out. I did manage to come up with a drum liner full of serviceable things for Goodwill. That makes nine bags of junk to the curb or Goodwill this weekend. One drum liner, three lawn leafs, and five large trash bags. 24 bags on the season so far. After three years of de-junking, I am making progress. I have a stack of empty storage trunks which is getting up toward the ceiling. Still more work to do. I don’t think I’ll equal that 40+ bag season 2 years ago when I largely emptied out the attic. House still looks a bit cluttered, but I am living in it, not doing a photo shoot. Maybe I do a token decluttering this coming weekend, and reclaim the dining table.
