Election, Rally, and Now?

Despite some very positive developments politically, we still have 72-days to Inauguration. While we are hopeful that everything will go smoothly between now and then, there are still a ton of major issues – each leading off to a fork-into-Future that may not be nice.

So, in addition to our ChartPack – featuring our broad spectrum market indicator – we will put “eyes on the horizon” to see if there’s a sense of things.

Already though, we can see the resistance to the Trump win beginning to build and we think the challenge to the national change of leadership could build to high levels in coming weeks.

  1. Until the inauguration is over along with all the riots that will happen around that time, NOTHING is set in concrete as to Trump sitting in the White House safe and sound.

  2. I think a lot of folks who were divided, have found some common ground.

    After Covid a lot of people found some common ground. A lot of sheep have come out of Plato’s Cave, to see the stories they were told are untrue. Can’t wait for RFK to take the fluoride out of the water.

    How the Biden Administration has handled things, has been a real eye opener for those who once believed in him/them. Economic failure, wars, etc.. People felt that.

    People have been changing sides and that red wave seems to tell which side grew. I think when more people start seeing more positive results, they’ll get on board too. Takes time. Nobody said it was going to be easy and, it will fluctuate from time to time. But, I believe in time, it will dwindle and things will get much better.

    The democrats lost a lot of power. A LOT of power. I’m sure they’ll try to throw a wrench in the gears but they aren’t as powerful as they were. One thing I’ve found is, when we get in their face, they tend to die down. Go home and cry. – We stood up to Gov. DeWine and he changed his mind, a couple times. – We saw the “Chaos?” In Seattle on election night and the police using “soft policing” – If that wasn’t staged, it proves it doesn’t take much to stop Antifa.

      I had been a democrat my whole life.. when it became real was believe it or not one of the commentators here.. the inability and justification of the horrid inhumane things the democratic party was doing. The Lincoln project and constant attacks.
      then when Biden got into office it became obvious that they hated the citizens of the country. throwing the taxpayers to the dust.. telling them how less they all waste valued and how much more someone other than a taxpayer was valued.even as the people died out for someone to stand up..they mentally spit on the people. the perv corrupt Bush was practices of the family business ..even today is neglected when if it was anyone of us we would be shoveled away.non stop attacks trying to destroy an ex president and weponizing the agencies we thought were there to protect us.
      wars and pushing for more wars the cost of everything beyond everyone’s reach.. every day it gets worse..
      I was once proud democrat then I was ashamed to be a democrat..

        Actually, honestly, I’ve never been ashamed to be a Democrat (or a republican, or a Constitutionalist, or an Independent.) I have been ashamed to be a Libertarian, because two of the principal Libertarian precepts are “open borders” and “no welfare.” Contemporary United States is a “welfare state.” It is impossible to have an open bordered welfare state, but the Libertarians are too driven by their idealism to surrender the open borders thing until public welfare goes away. “Libertarianism” as a political philosophy doesn’t embarrass or shame me, the collective stupidity of “Libertarians” does.

        As far as Dems go, they have been scum for 180 years. The Democratic Party is the source of both slave traders and slavery, Jim Crow and segregation, lying, dishonesty, and corruption, both to the populace and the voters. There have been periods in time when the Republicans have rivaled them WRT lying and deceit, and the brain busters hired by the Republican “robber barons” rivalled those who “swung into action” for the Democrats back during the “labor wars.”

        With that said, I’ve studied the history of “politics in the United States” since I was a child. Every Quaker gets a dose of that because our “separate, but equal” church service segregated parishioners by sex, not ethnicity, and did so on the belief that Quaker boys couldn’t pay proper attention to the Scriptures, if they were ogling the hottie with the killer rack in the next pew (and vice versa.) The “politics” came in when tweeny Quaker kids started asking why non-Quakers treated PoC the way they did.

        The trick to being a “good (Democrat, Republican, or member of any other political party or faction) is to be completely honest with yourself so that you see how shitty those of your Party are, accept their shortcomings, and vow to help them change their ways.

        BTW, it ain’t always “politics” that’s political. The Quaker Church has seven “nonprofit” evangelistic, missionary, or outreach NGOs of which I’m aware. 5 of the 7 are either funded by the Chinese, Russian, and American communist parties, or run and directed by CPUSA members (and have been since the 1960s.)

        You don’t have to feel bad because you were a Democrat and are now a cork in a bathtub. Just be honest, and don’t worry about that letter after your name. It is not important unless you run for political office, and even then, all it does is identify the corporation that’s your principal funding source. Don’t put on rose-colored glasses, don’t function under an illusion, and (I say again) be honest, and you need harbor no guilt.

        Also realize, Vivek Ramaswamy is the only principal at the top of the Trump Team who’s never been a Democrat…

  4. I knew a very observant guy many years ago — he’s surly passed on by now — who was a small-time investor as his profession. He would always physically reconnoiter HQs or locations to See if Building Maintenence was being kept up. “First thing they cut back on in hard times is how often they cut the big lawns outside Corp HQ.”

    He would also never invest in a company which would allow for one side of a double aluminum and glass entry door to stay locked — only opening one side to free flow of customers. “Reveals a lack of caring about customer covenience — and a lack of attention to detail in making a welcoming place.” Over the years, I’ve noted that such retail establishments and restaurants that do that seem to go out of business in a short time. “Nobody cares — why should I?” And things get loose pretty quickly. It cascades.

      yup..its the same in big hospitals etc. they cut maintenance..
      that’s why there are still face prints of me on windows from when I was 32…to justify their million dollar wages they have to maintain profit. we had ghost aides..employees still on the schedule that are long gone.
      home owners don’t want to lose the things they see as giving them quality. so they cut out food.. like a company the building expenses are absolute rent utilities etc. prices go up.. consider a price hike of ten dollars a month.. You lost .06 cents take home per hoholdIng this shit show up is plastic..
      an employer choice won’t give everyone a Nicole every time prices go up..at some point..to justify the high end wages sacrifices will have to be made..either the high end does all the work or a reevaluation of value..just like a recession. the families cut food costs because its a flexible figure..then people cut the things they thought they value and go back to buying essentials. what’s holding this together is plastic..at some point plastic will end..

  6. Porch pirates got to me Thursday evening. Driver photographed, but left the package standing upright outside the gate in a very visible location, not according to standing instructions. Amazon will make good on it. Two game cameras had the sensor gain set too low and got nada.

  7. I’m not feeling it. Are you? This giddy elation over the election. Yes.., I voted for him.., yes., I am glad that I won’t have to listen to her cackling for four years..,yes.., yes.., yes..,
    Every action that you take has its own unique set of consequences.., as you make a move – so does fate. This country has been beaten to a pulp since Tuesday, January 20th 2000 and 9. We are not whole. We are not now somehow miraculously “united”. The path ahead has not been cleared – there are land mines and booby-traps everywhere you care to look. 18% of the voters are “Freaqued-out” and 27% are ‘Shocked’ over the outcome of the election. We are not going to be standing around the warm glowing campfire, holding hands and singing kumbaya while sharing s’mores.., not gonna happen, folks. The ‘opposition’ hasn’t gone anywhere. Like an injured coyote, they have simply crawled under a bush and will lick their wounds for a couple of days. They are still there, out there.., somewhere, recharging their phaser banks. They’ll be right back after this commercial break.
    “You can’t get there from here.” The list of “Actionable Items” is enormous and in my opinion, nearly insurmountable. Far too many of those ‘items’ are firmly entrenched, relied-upon and accepted. You simply can not just bitch-slap them to the back-alley and believe you have solved a problem. When the most powerful banker in the country tells the President of the United States – to go to hell.., we have very serious problems that no amount of election-elation is going to solve.
    “There must be someway outta here – said the Joker to the Thief.” And, there is. I can think of three right off the top of my head.., but then, we are right back to: ” Every action that you take has its own unique set of consequences..,” ., and the top two ‘ways out” will cost millions of lives. How is that a “winning solution”? Hint: It isn’t. I’ll repeat that for the hearing impaired: “IT ISN’T !”
    Honestly? I do not want to be a part of the next couple of years. I really don’t. But – I am still here.., I’m still standing., so, I will be. I will do the best I can, for me and mine., to see that we make it through and still be standing, comfortably, on the other side of whatever is thrown our way.

      • Not sure whether Tucker needs better security, an exorcist, a psychologist, a change of sleeping quarters, or a better publicist. The exorcist would probably be cheaper and more confidential.
        There are a lot of lefties gunning for Tucker, and these sort of stories are to be taken with a grain of salt. Claw marks are never good, regardless of the origin.

    Long ago., decades back., there was this ‘thing’. In the NFL. It was called “The Two Minute Drill”. Kenny ‘The Snake’ Stabler and the Oakland Raiders were experts at it. Took them to the Super Bowl.
    With two minutes, or less in the half, or the end, the 2-Minute Drill was called. There were no huddles, no sideline conferences.., you simply lined-up and moved the damn ball. No rehuddle., after each play you lined up again as quickly as possible and moved the damn ball. Giving no time for your opponent to reevaluate, or substitute players.., you moved., every play was prepped, practice and preplanned. Two minutes of very fast – move the damn ball.
    We used to be able to that in this country. We have done it several times. As a whole – this country has – “moved the damn ball”. The start of World War Two is a great example of our ability to call for the “Two Minute Drill” and “move the damn ball !”
    Sadly.., we can’t do that anymore. It will take a sub-committee two years to define the rules and measurements for the size of the playing field. By that time, the game will have been played without you., and you’ll be standing on the sidelines with an empty Gatorade bottle wondering just what the hell happened. Just like we are – right now.
    And if some up-start thinks he can initiate a Two Minute Drill to try and solve a major problem in this country, without the express written consent of hundreds of judges and Senators.., every breathe he takes will be choked-off by hundreds of lawsuits crammed down his throat.
    It may sound dictatorial., but I do wish that there was some way to initiate a “Two Minute Drill” for some of the problems we face. As we are coming down to the last few minutes of this grand game we call America.

    • Reflected a little more on your post @choices. If we continue to be guilty of any sin even as we get older, it is a “rush to judgement.” Life evolves according to a grand plan that we have a minor role in. A lot of stress comes from not realizing this.

    I suspect the source is a nerd “intellectual idiot” who’s unaffiliated with any ideology.

    This is actually an interesting hack. The perp is spoofing random phone numbers as [senderid] and using a war-dialer. (S)he is only running the dialer for a few seconds at a time. This means the perp is a hacker, probably grabbed a name/phone list off IRC and understands both tracert and the NSA’s tracking protocols. The dialer is likely running through a VPN and spoofing its location as being in Sweden, Finland, or some other north Urepeein country. The perp is just another shithead troll and like every troll, may not believe a word (s)he sends. Hopefully the messages will continue until the NSA locates the sender, and once they do, they send his(her) ass to a Federal Pen to remain until they’re too old to reproduce…
