Downsizing Book Begins, Black Friday Paranoia

Root Canal Tuesday leads to Coast-to-Coast Wednesday night which then segues into Turkey Thursday around here. But before we roll, some important housekeeping items for even our non-subscribers to the $40/year Peoplenomics site.

Safe Computing Reminders:  We are at “peak hacking” between now and early January.  Don’t open emails you aren’t expecting.

Next, make sure all of your software is up to date.  This can be a bit daunting since Microsoft is “slow-rolling” the Win11 release of 24H2.  As a result, many Win11 users are still on 23H2.

Similarly, make sure your browser(s) are up to date and set your security preferences.

Finally – and now we’re into the “Paranoia can be useful” part:  There is a small, but nevertheless non-Zero chance that one of America’s “un-friends” could use the long holiday weekend to wreak havoc on us – as in the U.S.

Put yourself in the position of, oh, China and you want Taiwan.  What better weekend than to take down DNS servers and go for a massive cyber-attack than Black Friday, eh?

Most people don’t realize how the Domain Name System works.  But, the short version is that when you type a website name into your browser address line, that name is send to what’s called a DNS server.  The name is then routed to a specific numerical Internet address.

One simple way to wreck e-commerce, therefore, is to attack these DNS servers.

Should something like this ever happen, you would not be able to use banking or online shopping.  Because of security concerns, the IP addresses of secure institutions is seldom shared.

A few sites, like this one (since one of my books, Broken Web that was written in 2012 warned of it) understand the risks of DNS and denial of service attacks.

In the event of an actual (computing) emergency, we have paid the extra dough to have a “static IP address.”  Please make a note of it:

http://190.92.156.129

You (verging on becoming a compu-geek) will notice that this is NOT a secure website.  Because the SSL (secure socket layer) involves still more computery things.

Should anything go terribly wrong with the web, we plan to continue posting and with tons of radio and satellite video downlink capacity we can bring up if need be, meaning we may be able to get a handle on things, we might still be here….

Yes, of course this is paranoia and we pray nothing happens.  BUT foreign governments, a world full of crooks, and even factions within our own country (think false flag ops) have different than Constitutional agendas.

Safe clickings and pass the gravy!

For ham radio ops: 7.299 MHz lower sideband at:15 and :45 past the hour. Recognition code “business model”.  With a hat-tip to William of the Radio Ranch for quantifying some of these plans.

Now, for Peoplenomics subscribers, the rest of the morning’s news and the financial ChartPack.

All others are returned to their “regularly scheduled programming.”

  1. Hypersonic G ,

Shouldnt concern Ureself with money and lending – just a game, just a Game. Nein, nein, nein, four the real GAME afoot is WW3 . Can I get a witness ?

There are very good (compelling) reasons for “spinning up” this conflagration, number one being; “To Overwhelm the Control Systems”. GOAL – Crash Control Systems .

The galaxy is one of the most war torn sectors in local space. Earth IS a Physiological Prison, being run by “bad ET’s” and their compromised Human Collaborators.

Driving current events to happen at same time/quickly to OVERWHELM the controllers.
Everything is going out of control – so bad – Everyone will have to come out of hiding…they will have to intervene. NOT Sequentially – ALL AT ONCE.

Then, and only then will We be able to see the Good ET’s for what they are..our long lost Brothers and Sisters, Aunts and Uncles..

Popcornz and Sunglasses at the ready, would reco a good strong hand held Laser – as strong as you can afford…You will know when time comes..dont trust Moi, Trust Ureself.

    * Fin ?’s – move in Gold – candle on 13th (311) and previous gaps down do not look “right”, seems to me that something be brewing behind the scene’s..”rutrow Wraggy!” -https://youtu.be/R_pic4kLdhg?

  2. (“There is a small, but nevertheless non-Zero chance that one of America’s “un-friends” could use the long holiday weekend to wreak havoc on us – as in the U.S.”)

??????….that brings up the…What would you do.. IF.. you were the one that felt as if a military response was needed…. what if they acted exactly how we would proceed..

having known many in special forces through the years.. every time they were deployed.. it was during an important holiday of the country we were going to invade.. every time..
so turkey day .. considering those traveling that would be effected..and those that populate our major metropolitan area.. five EMP’s would take out how many planes would fall from the skys.. and over 2/3rds. of the population would be effected immediately.. that’s why we always use the holidays of a country to march in..
the most disturbing is the vacant congress..you would think the deal going on would at least slap em upside the noggin and say hey..somethings wrong here..but they aren’t to concerned… OR.. are they..did they go into the bunkers already and that’s why the beltway is silent..

    • “.. considering those traveling that would be effected.”

If there’s a WW3 level strike on the interior short airlines but go long hotels and car rentals. It’s possible the markets will glitch again and everyone is locked out/in.

  3. another thing that’s interesting..is other countries are telling their citizens to prepare and put in backup power.. I believe they are expecting this to escalate..yet not a word to the American citizens..

      • Well..we maybe have some things … but sadly.. war in this country isn’t in our nations experience.. BLM and Antifa ant their terrorist activities the march across the usa..and other activities engineered by globalist puppeteers is about as close as we have come..
someone that has never lived it..doesn’t have a clue..
it would be a learning experience..
We essentially wouldn’t have a clue..Things I have learned is that we American citizens take a lot.. A LOT .. for granted…

      • In the USA we are but observers .. we see the horror or parts of the horrid destruction death and dismemberment..
but we aren’t living it..it hits the USA we will be living the horror..we. an read about other peoples experiences.. such as the survivor stories about the Bosnian war.. or those that live under the bridges and in back alleys.. but we only observe as passengers ..

I think that’s what shocks me about our own members of our Congress..they aren’t even acting as if their views of the horrid and escalation of events are even credible. when all they have to see is what has happened to those involved in countries where we have put in our own puppet regimes..
so do they know something we aren’t seeing? or are they just that sheltered and so privileged that they can’t see how these actions will ultimately affect them and their loved ones if it does come here..or are they just so far out of touch that they are just unaware..or the worst possibility..just that …STUPID …
it would be a totally new life experience and if the analysts are correct and there’s just a handful left.. We would have to have the knowledge to rebuild something.. we wouldn’t be the apex Predator at the top of the food chain.

Rick Ackerman: Have you heard from “Cleo Kenmille” or “Caroline Johnson”? If not, consider yourself fortunate. Those are pseudonyms used by a crew of shitbags who work out of bucket shops that lie beyond the reach of international law. Their job is to steal money from you or anyone else who is familiar with PayPal, the online banker. Paypal itself is unconnected to the scam, although their familiar logo is used to entice the unwary (see above).

    • Lol lol… I have been getting them for a while now that exact same letter lol lol..I keep forwarding them to PayPal spoof control..
the wife asked me…what did you buy…nothing hun its a scam..don’t open it or answer it..

  5. ATL: quiet. Before the storm? Yep. In town yesterday there was quite a lot of honking. Sigh. We are in such a hurry to relax, hey? I’m waiting for heat ‘o the day (45F at 4:00 pm EST) to rough cut a toy wooden dagger for E2 (and E3). Boys … Egor

ps – yucky day for dental work, apply single malt

  6. Good Luck tonight George. And have fun. It’s such a cool thing to be able to share your thoughts and adventures with so many people.

  7. Very good post this morning, George – thanks.
    .
I have never held a 9 to 5 job. Well., that’s not entirely true – I did hold a job for two weeks at a shipping company. The owner hired me to find out who was stealing tens of thousands of dollar’s worth of merchandise from his shipping docks. [ Turned out to be his own son and his son’s secret girlfriend in accounting. I saw them together having lunch in his pickup and went from there. He didn’t fire them – he had both of them arrested, right in front of the whole company ! ]
So.., several of your statements and comments I have no experience with – nothing to relate too. I never once considered making money to buy a house., or a new car. Never occurred to me that I had to choose an occupation to live. Work.., for a living ? How sad. I worked for money., I lived for good times, good food, friends, music, great bourbon., sailing., a new computer once in a while to run my math programs., helping people out [ which was my “job”] even a little star gazing – but not “for a living”. What ‘you’ had didn’t interest me at all. I was too damn busy to even consider it as a motivating factor in my life. “Life” was my motivation.
People today do not have much of a choice, do they? I know several people that are working two full time jobs and are sliding a little deeper in debt every month. Won’t take much to push them right to the curb – or living in their car with their kids.
There is so much anxiety, worry, concern, depression and even fear today.., yet consumer spending is still on a steady roll. The vast majority are still buying and seemingly buying beyond their means – as credit card debt reaches new levels every month., far above the reported wage increases.
“This too., shall pass.” It will come to an end. I think we all here can see that. “When” and “How fast” is the only things on the future calendars.
With Trump proposing, changing, dictating and manipulating – it is hard to tell exactly what will happen – much less when. I think he will buy us all some time – I have no idea how long it will last though.
“Rumors of War” seem to have had little effect.., I fear it will take an actual “War” to drive home the collapse of the economy. ., and so many are going to be devastated.

    • I can say for almost an actuality..this will not pass…
The government has been positioning and maneuvering to get people dependent on social programs.
heritage foundation did a study on it..
      https://www.heritage.org/political-process/report/the-coming-crisis-how-government-dependency-threatens-americas-freedom
but seriously you o my need to read Adolph Hitler’s second book..
      https://archive.org/details/hitlers-second-book
you can see it in every news coverage of the mainstream news.. started with deregulation.. our members of congress will say the right things but ironically are vacant and unable or unwilling to do anything..
my average work week for well over thirty years was 2 fulltime jobs and 1 part time jobs..we are forced to pay huge costs for basic essentials.. benefits that once upon a time related to everyone working now are only given to the top ten percent.. companies no longer offer retirement benefits or insurance..unemployment insurance is only given to seasonal employees..if you let go or quit you will never see a dime. during covid the grandkids received it but then had to pay it all back. social security may go up but the rates for Medicare go up taking everything away you never see it..well I think I did see enough for a cup of coffee..well not at today’s prices..
my life has been plagued by high medical costs..
when we had to buy just my wife’s medical insurance it was a couple grand a month and fifty dollar copay for clinic visit the cheapest insurance was what 1300.00 a month and only allowed you three doctors visits annually at the fifty dollar copay..no labs pharmaceutical or xrays..
the elderly are in even harder spot.. its life as we know it..the collapse of the dollar and we are sunk.
they need to keep the citizens subjective to their desires..

      • You jumped the wrong shark.
My comment: “and this too shall pass.” Is in regards to consumer spending and a steady economy.

        • To quote Peg Bundy: “I’m not broke, I still have checks!”. Today that might apply to those who still have non-maxed credit cards.

  8. re: Birds of a Feather
    feat: American League

    Folks,

It’s always a great thing when George talks turkey.

Did you hear? Yesterday the South Lawn of the White House witnessed President Biden “pardoning” the National Thanksgiving Turkey according to the official WH schedule. Today the First Couple enjoy the first full day of their traditional holiday to Nantucket, home of “Moby Dick’s” fictional Captain Ahab under wing of the wild turkey state bird. No official events are planned with the First Couple’s visit to their perennial Nantucket host multi-billionaire co-founder of The Carlyle Group and newly minted owner of the Orioles baseball team.

  9. (“the core of The American Dream. It was apparent to both of us – approaching our sixties at the time – that “the Dream” was falling apart. While we were both skilled and well-educated, that wasn’t enough for modern Human Resource geniuses. “)

I thought I had the world by the tail when I was 20.. then real life hit..the American dream..dam if you knew how many ti.as I was told you won’t ever get it.. I see it happening to those living in low income housing.. a place where the cost of low income housing exceeds their low income..
I had a boss of mine from 1989 call me..asking me how I do it.. he thought we were getting some of the programs available..I know these figures varies per area here you have to have less than 700 income per month for two.. and anything they give you in the programs goes to the seven hundred range.. if your at that level then they deduct from another..
his retirement is five times what we get and he doesn’t know how he’s going to do it.. he’s planning on selling his home and moving into a camper.. that will spend as much or more..
a recent trip to Wal-Mart.. it was busy but you could tell from a quick view of the carts that there’s a massive cutback in spending..

      • NOW That’s a deep subject…
(“The families of the higher type of humans practice match making. They match excellent specimens for excellent progeny. All other humans take whatever they can get, and it is not excellent. About half of the male population is not able to procreate without government assistance, that is: assisted pairing. Afterwards, we have to force the males to stay on her and she with him: Enforced cohabitation, controlled scarcity, reduced variability. We make them males and females live together. Urg.”)
the consideration of keeping the gene pool ….
for thousands of years these concepts were held solid.

and unfortunately it still goes on today.. opposites attract..
skin pigmentation or your geological location.. what I see that is interesting is..the ability to overcome obstacles.. instead man is caging the vast majority on economical prominence.
one look at the perv and his family videos.. truly a keep it all at home experience..
        Einstein was considered below value..
we judge value by how well someone can say their lines or how big their wallet is. in past history it was community and seeing each as a valued member each with a talent…
a movie trading places really gets into this..the television show thirty days..it lasted six episodes ..put people at the top of the social structure in the lowest position possible..no wallet in a strange geological place and not being able to use their power and influence.. only one made it..the rest couldnt.
it had nothing to do with their genetics but their ability to make do with what they had.
take my engineer.. smart man.. had it all..the man in charge designed and overseen the construction and operation of deep water oil drilling platform’s..
first hit with a hurricane that destroyed all the physical trap he had that gave him value.. then a huge explosion on one of the deep water oil platforms.. he was called in to give testimony y on the accident.. he told the truth..black balled by the industry he loved..he became extremely bitter.. his family abandoned him..he couldn’t get a job washing dishes..meanwhile the industry he gave testimony about received several billion dollars..
when his car broke down and he had a heart attack is when I met him.. the trip from one of opulence to living in our spare bedroom was not acceptable..it didn’t have a thing he was created and destroyed a spa e to his position without ever considering what he had..
when my gettng knocked down everyone considering you a piece of shirt … no value.. its a tragic experience and confusing.. luckily each time I was knocked down and things appeared totally hopeless.. I looked for ways to take what I had..and still have a quality of life.
consider the book a favorite of mine..I reflect on the words and descriptions..
        https://www.amazon.com/Waterborne-Water-School-Robert-Dell/dp/1945674067
Christmas is coming up… the monthly donation I give isn’t much but its my gift to me..
(“It’s easy to sit back in the comfort of a western lifestyle and criticize the efforts of millions of volunteers that try to make a difference in the lives of people in struggling nations abroad. “)(“They have an inner strength that defies understanding. Starting before dawn, they gather wood to build cooking fires, carry heavy water, cook for hours, work in the fields for the day and then prepare the evening meals, often in the dark. First ones up in the morning, last ones to bed at night and sometimes sleeping on a patch of ground in the home or outside because all beds are taken by the children and husband. That would never play in my house. I’d be on the floor, guaranteed. ( mine to)” (“we came upon a lady sitting on a stool with a small stand of wilted vegetables that she was selling. “Her name is Ann,” said Magdelline. “She is a widow with several children. Her husband died of AIDS. She sells these vegetables to survive. She cannot leave to go to the paid public bathroom because her vegetables will get stolen. Often she and her children have nothing to eat except the few withering onions that are left over at the end of the day. Any money she makes goes to pay rent and toilet fees.”)
the thing is.. they make the best of what they have… learned to adapt. they learned to take what they have and make the best of it..
I grew up what would be seen as poor..but I never felt poor.. opportunities crossed by me.. but without the ability to take advantage of them the opportunities fly right by..none of it has to do with genetics.. they try to keep the people caged and dependent..but the dependence of their social up bringing can’t change the desire to expand make do And enjoy the life you have and make the most out of what you receive..
advancement comes out of necessity and inginuity.

        • “Christmas is coming up… the monthly donation I give isn’t much but its my gift to me..”

That thinking my very good man is beautiful. Many are they that do not understand this concept whereby Giving a Gift to Someone else also acts a Gift to Ureself! I get this a lot..why are you giving this or doing that for “that person” ?
          A) Its a gift to myself, by showing kindness & or doing kind/good deed for someone have had a adversarial relationship with..

This is genius level thinking Loobster..a friggin Genius . There are subtle NRG’s (beneficial) involved when engaging in multi level Gifting.

In my case – Gifting like you describe with water school, simply gives me a Feeling of warmth and goodness – I really Enjoy experiencing Warmth & Joy – like it makes me Feel Good. Ill take that everyday till Sunday! What is going on at the Energetic level when I do this.. I dont know, but I know it is Good for my Spirit..so I will presist

          Peace

PS – Have you gotten a BTC/ crypto wallet yet ?

      • it sadly is accurate… take a member of a lower social class.. goes to school.. takes out school loans that keep them in the same cage they grew up and are accustomed to.
those keeping these people in bondage .. really don’t consider that … those that are subjected to being kept are the ones working to maintain their status..without them they are nothing.. the velocity of numbers is what keeps it all moving..shove all the numbers in a hole or box and it ends..

    • We moved to Ecuador 15 years ago and never looked back. Bought a 4 apartment rental, live in one, have been banking one of our social security checks for the last 10 years.

Insurance on $22k car is $700 per year. And having two titanium dental implants (root canals block meridians and cause health problems) for a grand total of $3600.

Medical here is 15% of USA prices, self insured for 10 years until legally required to keep permanent visa. Insurance for two is $2400 per year, $500 deductible. Dr visit is $30. Full dental scan is $50.

Ecuador has its problems, but having Ivy league educated psychopaths trying to take my money and my life is not one of them!

    • There’s a similar work of art in our favorite Chinese place (currently run by Hispanics). It’s truly spectacular artwork, and I find something previously undiscovered in it every time we go there.

    • Absolutely beautiful! The art, and especially the artist!

I consider it an accomplishment to stucco a wall dead flat!

  10. (““Budgeting” always came down in our families to a simple concept: If you have money left-over on Pay Day, you’re on a good budget. If not, and you have to scrimp and maybe skip a meal, here or there, before the check from work lands, then your budgeting sucks.”)

lol lol lol lol… I hear you on that one lol lol lol every January I have two months of drama getting my budget under control..
almost half of our monthly income is just for auto and home insurance.. taxes dam another twenty percent..
I keep thinking…phone over a hundred a month cable and internet another hundred and thirty.. eaves us with what 500 for the rest..its a challenge..
not having what you want or think you deserve..instead people have to learn to make the most of what they have..no complaints here I eat good have more scrap than I need..I just had to learn how to do a few things..
that’s where things will get interesting..we no longer build or make..we replace..mechanics at dealerships can’t eve get parts around her for cars ten years old or older.. young women no longer sew their own clothes or knit a sweater..they run to the store and buy it..

  11. (“Bread, like the kind WalMart sells for a dollar, “)

dam I need to move to texas.. here the cheapest loaf of bread is over 2 and its soda bread.. dissolves ..like cheapcrackers..nope very little wheat in it lol..
its always amazing to see what the price differences are between here and there..

    • The only bread I’ve seen in Walmart for $1.00 is the leftover Italian loaves – unsliced. They do exist, but they get bought quickly.

Occasionally they mark down the bread because it’s near expiring, but that’s less common.

  12. Folks,

Speaking of Nantucket and birds, a photographer of the UK’s “Daily Mail” captured the First Lady and First Daughter exiting Ladybird Lingerie as three men wearing sunglasses while attired in matching light winter down jackets surveyed the surroundings. The First Lady was even presented with a complimentary “Biden” (2024?) t-shirt by an adjacent tourist shop merchant.

It seems the pair escaped the shopping excursion with a retreat to the tranquility of the 13,000 square foot residence of their billionaire host. According to the “Daily Mail” the property rests upon a street named after one of the last Nantucket Wampanoag tribespeople, Abram Quary. “The Nantucket Historical Association” notes that he passed away 170 years ago this past Monday at the age of 82 years in the Nantucket Asylum for the Indigent.

Finally, the UK msm concluded that the First Couple accompanied by their various children and grandchildren along with “several hundred” supporting staff (courtiers?) would decamp to Washington on Saturday next.

    Long live the King!
