Investing in the Afterlife

Maybe threats of global nuclear war and a severe toothache got me pondering the topic. I don’t know.

But since we are all going to die, it may be worth a short discussion of our mental constructs, frameworks, and plans for investing in that little-discussed area of human existence.

Oh, sure, we will do the Daily Saber Rattle coverage and our ChartPack is very interesting (since it has also evolved into a “brinkmanship” looking set-up).

Since options this month was early (last week), and with a paucity of “economic news” the markets may crawl sideways a while longer waiting for the Next Big Thing to blow through. After of pop-fly open.

Before we start, a shameless book plug.  My latest, The Doctor Between Your Ears: Practicing Practical Longevity is now available on Amazon for Kindle.  I will get the paperback ready hopefully in the next week or two. Access to the book is already free (since I serialize my books (as they’re being written) on the $40/year Peoplenomics®  website.

Why, next thing you know, I will be hawking sneakers and watches, too…um….

  1. “URE” would be a catchy brand/logo for sneakers (or “Tennis shoes” as we called them).

    Good luck at the dentist!

      • I went to the dentist last week for cleaning and x rays. Last night I lost a front tooth filling. Annoying. I thought of you with your soon to be procedure and decided well, I guess it’s not that bad.

I went to the Rheumatologist yesterday and she was confused how I could be so good with such bad blood work. I have no complaints. My pain is down to 2 out of 10, and most of my daily activities are in the “with no difficulity” catagory. I am still mostly eating beef and eggs and feel wonderful, a little stiff but great.

Congratulations on publishing your new book and speaking with Noorey. Good things coming your way after so much work.

        • Yes Congrats, Pokey.

Slooowpoke been grab-assing around 4 too long, to get much work done. Hell AG been up on the Zon with new “Postscript WW3” book since August.
Think things must be on a slower boil down there in mTexico, than where Mr. Kimbrough be hanging his shingle. But what the hell do I know ? NOTHING!

As long as there are some good Longfellows’ to still Tickle me, then the wait is prolly worth it.
I for 1 do not think there is ANY possibility for RECALL of Ure Memories after you “See the Light”, and hear the “ladies” voice upon Ure Ka&Ba’s arrival at the Death Traps. Ginourmmous amounts of ENERGY/ ELECTRICITY are applied to Stun the Soul. Over time/repeated processing damage occurs..

We have NO Memory or RECALL of past lives, nobody does and nobody Ever will until this Soul Prison Planet system is dismantled =Defeated. The very Rare individuals who do possess memories of previous lives, are 1st timers..”New Meat”. Thankfully these types are usually very “spiritually advanced” so as not become victims of being “new meat”.

Nice reassuring tales for sheeps not to worry “what comes after”.

        • All this tooth misery talk brought back an old memory…

As a kid with a toothache, I remember being given a cotton ball soaked in whiskey to put on the aching tooth.

Sadly, someone long ago decided that mixing sugar with other ingredients that form a corrosive paste that sticks to our teeth like glue, and rots them was a good idea. Candy, cakes cookies, donuts etc.

  2. Good luck to you George. I wish you a quick recovery.
Get better so you can enjoy your upcoming visit and get back to doing your thing.
    Stay safe.

  3. I’m having lunch in a Tex-Mex place. It is usually half to 2/3 Hispanic diners. The parking lot is empty, and maybe two Hispanics seated. It’s a bit early for the holiday exodus south of the border.

    • Its the same around here to.Dining out is probably one of the biggest things for this area. there’s not a lot of activities for entertainment.. so its dining out and bars and casinos.as prices are going up people are starting to stay at home..I drive by places that usually have long wait times and see almost empty parking lots..
At Wal-Mart they have new gears decorations out already..even there carts aren’t filled to the max like they use to..Motels ..one place is a whole city block.. big place huge.. the employee parking lot full of workers cars.. three cars in the customer parking area.. went by the Sheridan inn.. same thing..
people are pulling Back from spending on things they use to spend a lot on.
sales adds and double coupon sales …
its only going to get worse..you have to have cash for a cash flow..the velocity of money.. its slowing down is now showing up..

      • Something else: I have two friends, and a number of acquaintances, who are waitspeople. Over the past 6-8mos they’ve seen tips go from ~20% to below 7%. In one voice they’ve told me they’d rather not have the customer, than receive the insulting tip. One of these gals is a mediocre server, but the other guys and gals are between very good and exemplary, and they’re getting the crap tips also.

As I explained to one: I don’t understand. If I ask you to dinner, I am also asking your SO, your kids, hell, even your mother in-law. I am prepared to pay the entire tab, assuming everyone orders the most-expensive thing on the menu, and I’m prepared to leave a 20-40 percent tip, commensurate on the quality of the waiter’s service and food, and on how much of a mess your kids make. I expect not to have to tote the note for everyone, but I am always prepared, and if I can’t do it, I reject the restaurant, or the entire outing. I’ve dated waitresses. I am not about to shit on one because she’s working someplace where I can’t afford to eat without stiffing her…

  4. “.., to use a program like OneNote and write your own “interview.”
    .
I have considered doing just that. Interview myself – in a series of interviews that form a story that is a biography of myself.., even have a catchy little title for it – there may be a couple of interesting chapters., even got a program, “Scrivener” to write it – but I have to ask myself – who would really want to read it ? Seems like self-serving endeavor. “The Mrs” said that I should absolutely do it., “no one has survived that many adventures”. [ She may be a bit prejudice, though.]

  5. I thought it was just a rumor and really hoped that the U.S. wouldn’t do this – .., damn !
    – The U.S. is shipping thousands of landmines to the Ukraine – saying, basically – it’s all Russia’s fault that we are doing this.
    – It’s a gift that “never” stops giving and a true horror of war that lingers for decades even after all the fighting has ended.

    • Yeah, trying to wrap me head around this.

I thought APMs were made illegal via International Law?

Are we sending them VX next…?

      • Why would they need to ship it.. the trap was manufactured in Ukraine illegal bio warfare labs..

    • Russia has left a lot of landmines in Ukraine, fight fire with fire? …
      https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c5yrejnnl8jo

      U.S. landmines latest safety feature:
‘Mr Austin said the US devices would be safer to use than the ones Ukraine were developing themselves, as the US mines are what it calls “non-persistent”, meaning that after some days they lose charge and can no longer detonate.’

  6. The Federal Reserve’s top banking regulator said Wednesday he wouldn’t leave before his term was up even if President Donald Trump tried to fire him, echoing remarks made by Fed chair Jerome Powell.
The comments from Powell and Barr – who are both making statements regarding their positions at the Federal Reserve. Both of them seem to be in the cross-hairs.
“Not permitted under the law,” Chair Powell snapped when reporters asked about it.
    .
The law states that each member of the board shall hold office for 14 years “unless sooner removed for cause by the President.”
The question that has been debated for years is what exactly constitutes “for cause.”
Legal experts have tended to say that a simple policy disagreement wouldn’t rise to the level “for cause”, but it’s an “undefined standard” that has never been tested before a judge.

  7. What a wonderful thought-provoking column this was today, so thank you very much, George. I particularly liked the “packing for exploring” part. That was cool. I envision soul pairs or teams of souls having tasks to help with or accomplish by just themselves towards a certain goal in Heaven. There will be a lot to do there, i imagine.

Hope your dental issues will be resolved soon.

    Happy turkey day to all!

  8. Folks,

Media outlet “Shot” has announced on Telegram that Russian importers’ supply of wine and champagne from Italy, Spain and France will be sufficient to meet the upcoming New Year holiday demand in the Motherland. The report was accompanied by a distraught Keanu-Reeves-drinking-red-wine gif from the 2019 movie “Always Be My Maybe”.

The scene is associated with a cover of Coldplay’s “Viva la Vida” by Californian native Captain Sparklez assisted on lyrics by the Ukrainian born TryHardNinja. A king loses his castle in the parody.

Hold on! Just in time for the top of Happy Hour DJ George is floating into the studio on a rush of laughing gas. And thank you to a servant from Kyiv for launching today’s request list? Pour yourself a glass and chill with a nod to Captain Sparklez –
    “Fallen Kingdom”.

  9. So your column is going to have less Teeth going forward?

I know you are in Texas and thus support the drill Drill DRILL mantra but isn’t this taking it a bit far?

I will say this can be your Crowning achievement, if it is successful.

OK … I know, I am now banished to having to fight Tooth and nail to get you to allow me to post anymore. Been fun while it lasted but I know you are now going to Bite Down on controlling your posters.

    Hope everything went OK today.

  10. George,
I discovered you on the art bell show 30 years ago.
Been a reader ever since. One of the readers said something about you and george noory. I looked at the C2C website but can’t find any info.
When will you be on or was I just lost -thinking to hear your dulcet voice over the airwaves once again
    thank you

    • Hi – talked to Tom (Danheiser) and he’ll get the update on coming shows on later today, he expects.
But I’ll be on Wednesday night next week talking about my three most recent books. (which are, if you’re not paying attentiion): The 100-Year Toaster, Packing to Die, and the one which went live Wednesday, “The Doctor Between Your Ears.”

  11. US/NATO satellite feeds and/or personnel are needed to fire these missiles; therefore, NATO has entered the war. So, Russia has every right under international law to attack NATO targets now.”
Lawrence Wilkerson, a retired colonel who served as chief of staff for former U.S. Secretary of State Colin Powell, made the statement following President Joe Biden’s authorization for Ukraine to use Washington-supplied long-range weapons inside Russia, telling the Russian news agency TASS that Ukraine’s launch of ATACMS would not be possible without U.S. personnel and aid.
“.., therefore, we have officially entered the war.”

      • Yo Brotha G – he (pedoslo) told you/us/all that there would be “US Boots on the ground in Ukriane” 4 years ago.

Yet another one of his “gaffes” – that eventually come to fruition, after most have forgotten he ever uttered the words.
Do youse remember his quip “we have assembled the greatest vote stealing organization in history” – prolly not as most didnt, or chose to ignore .

Thats it – “Mass Ignorance” – they got “spray” and a frequency for that.

        • The same thing happened to us military that did tours overseas .. they were outsourced to the agencies..even though they were in active duty..being outsourced to the agency is a non military event. knew a guy that went to retire his thirty years in..only to discover over ten years of his overseas tours were not logged as official. he lost his home ended up living in his car at the Wal-Mart parking lot.. had a stroke and died alone..I let him sleep on our couch in the fifty degree below zero weather..tried to get the VA to work on his military retirement and get him housing. unfortunately it was a job to big..
I see another old vet living in the parking lot..I feel bad for them but its just how it is..

    • So far we think we are active in the war..but officially we are not and military soldiers are going there on their own..
once its obvious that we are sent print in squads like north Koreans fighting on the fields then it is official and game on.

  12. this will make a tooth feel better…well maybe not..

    1 package of Graham crackers
    1 cup of sugar
    1 stick of butter
( blend this together..you can use sugar cookies to ..it’s the crust)
2 – 8 oz cream cheese room temp.
    1 cup of sugar
    2 tbsp vanilla
    2 eggs..
    blend this
    2 bananas
    1 tbsp of cocoa
8 oz of ground up pecans
blend this. then drag this through the cream cheese mis so it’s not blended but streaked..
pour in the pan with the Graham cracker crust in it
place the pan ( preferably a spring form pan ) in an oven at 350 degrees with the cheese cake in a pan of water . bake at 359 for 2 hours. ( now you can put the springform pan in a turkey cooking bag or you can put aluminum foil around the pan)
take the cheese cake out and place it in the refrigerator.. preferably over night.. put cool whip on top or whipped cream…
now a suggestion my grandson like Nutella.. instead of crushed pecans and cocoa you can add a half cup of Nutella to the banana mix..
other mixtures are strawberries blueberries peaches etc. for a fruit swirl instead if chocolate..
what do you like..lemon is good as well as orange..
another twist is cheese cake drops..or cubes.. just use a small cupcake pan..

    • Flag down, hear that whistle !

creamcheese ? just plain ole no taste, no character cream cheese ? Puuuulease. That is a recipe for a dull ass disaster of a dessert treat.

There is only ONE cream cheese in all gods creation (s) worthy of going into a family recipe, and that my good Man is Philadelphia Cream Cheese.

Accept no substitutes, no imitations, as they are inferior in all regards.

PS: ever had a Tastykake ?

  13. the bananas should be on the ripe side.. like you would for banana bread..bananas are super sweet..
or you can use a simple syrup with the fruit etc..
I haven’t ever tried pudding mix..or sweetened condensed milk.. those would work to..
one of the girls made it once with pumpkin spice in it..it was amazing but I am not sure what she did .. the recipe is pretty simple and has a lit of room to play with it.. blueberry pie filling is extremely good..but then I like blueberries..

  14. PSA…

  15. Hi, George,
Hope the tooth issues are resolved quickly. Good luck with your interview, which I expect to be very well received.

I would disagree with Svengolly, in that many of us do recall our past lives. And, those who do are not considered to be fresh meat incarnated on Earth for the first time but have been intentionally incarnated here to either learn and experience more life issues or to resolve karmic issues. Planet Earth is not only a prison planet with its particular confines but is a place of learning, usually with very intense trials, ordeals, and some great adventures.

I can recall several past lives but only in parts. Please know that many of us Boomer babies died in World War 2, only to return fairly quickly in just a few years to Earth. Those are the ones who never came back home to the US, but that is the nature of war; people always die. The consequence, as there always is one when so many souls in history experience the same thing, was the anti war movement seen in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. I look at cause and effect in history and wonder about those being a consequence of the experience of a large group of souls, who either wanted to right a wrong or who chose to enact revenge in some way. Just a theory.
