It’s about time we have the same conversation here in public that we had with our Peoplenomics.com subscribers a couple of weeks back: When you look at the data, there is indeed a New [global] Caliphate [NGC] emerging and you can see it clearly when you look at a map of North Africa, the Middle East, and Asia Minor.
[Map derived using Microsoft Streets and Trips 2013]
What I’ll propose to you this morning is that when you map out the major trouble spots in this part of the world, you can quickly see which country is at the center of things.
Not coincidentally, I figure, the country is also where the 9/11 perps came from, but most of the American public has forgotten that thanks to the spin and hype that accompanied the U.S. intervention in Iraq in response to 9/11.
Wrong country, pure and simple.
In order to understand the future dynamic *(2016/17 for war lite and 2022 for global war) it’s useful to keep an eye on these boundary lines. Because the West is almost moving its boundary lines forward, too.
In fact, just this morning, the European Union signed alliances with Ukraine, Georgia, and Modova…and as I’ve shared with you for months now, the situation in Ukraine was not a Russian advance, but rather the Europeans going on their same crazy expansionism that started back in the Crusades and has only taken periodic breaks.
Fact of the matter is that we (‘Mericans) live in a country that Chris Columbus claimed as part of the Spanish front of globalism in the late 1400’s which persisted far too long. As indigenous peoples in the Philippines might argue.
And the arising of a “police state” is hardly anything “new” – it’s all be done before but previously it lacked the high tech “touch.” Shortly after Columbus’ time, it was called the Inquisition and non-conformists were being burned in Salem more than a century later.
One can only conclude that there’s a rhyme of history in there somewhere, and my friend Robin Landry – a great student and practitioner of economic cycle analytics in addition to his Elliott work – would no doubt point to this as the socioeconomic 500 years cycle with the USA’s revolution in 1776 the 250-year cycle. And he’d be right, of course.
One of the longer-playing dynamics of world history are absorbed, we can also see how revolutions and the 500-year cycle play out. As a broad brush, a 500-year cycle began about 1,000 A.D. and 250-years (very roughly) before that, Islamic forces conquered Spain under the leadership of the Umayyad Caliphate. Wiki it:
The Umayyad conquest of Hispania is the initial Islamic Umayyad Caliphate‘s conquest, between 711 and 788, of the Christian Visigothic Kingdom of Hispania, centered in the Iberian Peninsula, which was known to them under the Arabic name al-Andalus.
The conquest began with an invasion by an army that (according to traditional accounts) consisted largely of Berber Northwest Africans and Arabs, and was commanded by Tariq ibn Ziyad. They disembarked in early 711 at Gibraltar and campaigned their way northward. After the decisive Battle of Guadalete against the usurper Roderic and the support provided to the Saracens by the legitimate heirs to the throne, the initial raids became, to the surprise of the raiders themselves, territorial gains successfully conquered and retained. The Visigothic kingdom splintered into client-dominions of the Umayyads. Over the following decade, most of the Iberian Peninsula was further occupied and brought under Umayyad sovereignty. In 714 Musa ibn Nusayr headed north-west up the Ebro river to overrun western Basque regions and the Cantabrian mountains all the way to Gallaecia, with no relevant or attested opposition. However, these northern areas drew little interest to the conquerors and were hard to defend when taken. The high western and central sub-Pyrenean valleys remained unconquered.
By 717 the Islamic invasion of Gaul (later France) had commenced. The Umayyads occupied Septimania, then under the client-king Ardo, only to be temporarily halted by Odo the Great‘s Aquitanians in the Battle of Toulouse (721). However, after massing a larger army, the combined Arab-Berber forces resumed their advance to the north-west, defeating Odo at the Battle of the River Garonne. Odo allied with his foe Charles Martel, the effective ruler of Francia (Neustria, Austrasia and Burgundy), who after a forced march defeated the Muslims at the Battle of Tours (or Poitiers) in 732 (or 733). The Franks completely expelled the Umayyad forces in 759 following the Siege of Narbonne (752-759). However, control by different Muslim forces of territory within present-day France (for example, the stronghold of Fraxinet) was intermittent up to 975
And that 975 days gets us to the 500-year epoch start to the 500-year cycle that lead to the Inquisition/Police State in the 1400’s.
And at the center of that dark chapter of human history we find those oft-celebrated real estate developers Ferdidnand II and his queen Isabella:
King Ferdinand II of Aragon and Queen Isabella I of Castile established the Spanish Inquisition in 1478. In contrast to the previous inquisitions, it operated completely under royal Christian authority, though staffed by clergy and orders, and independently of the Holy See. It operated in Spain and in all Spanish colonies and territories, which included the Canary Islands, the Spanish Netherlands, the Kingdom of Naples, and all Spanish possessions in North, Central, and South America. It primarily targeted forced converts from Islam (Moriscos, Conversos and secret Moors) and from Judaism (Conversos, Crypto-Jews and Marranos) — both groups still resided in Spain after the end of the Islamic control of Spain — who came under suspicion of either continuing to adhere to their old religion or of having fallen back into it.
Our own period is – in comparison – somewhat more gently (hard word choice here) executed.
We use drones, massive military force, and National Security Letters thanks to the Patriot Act. A kinder, gentler Inquisition. But with similar goals as to the original because we have an “in-your-face” historical template being played out.
Which is why jihadists refer to the West often as Crusaders and most ‘Merican’s don’t get it because we live in Internet-time, which except for the databases, has no memory. But in the Middle East, everyone from the Bedouin tribesmen to the Wahhabi clerics has a keen memory for history and senses the historical “wave” of the times.
And it’s the New [global] Caliphate, a higher-techy version of the Yumayyad Caliphate. And in the previous spin of history’s dice, the Crusades were the West’s jihad back into the Middle East in that block of history from approximately 1000 A.D. into the 1500’s.
And all of this background now brings us to that fellow born in 1503 in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, Provence, France: Nostradamus.
We’ve been discussing “brain noise” and how some people enter into their highest states when going into something akin to a sensory deprivation state; others get there using sensory overload.
Regardless of how he got there, Nostradamus (in the Quatrains) outlined a final global conflict. In many religious belief sets, this Armageddon event will be followed by a “1,000-year Peace.”
But, near as I can figure, that will not be due to the outbreak of brotherly love, sincerity of human caring, or the universality of a guiding spiritual leader.
The odds are higher that it will simple record that way onto the tracks of history because there will be so few people left.
A “final war” will no doubt see the deployment of genetically-specific weapons of mass destruction (Hitler would be proud), the use of atomic weapons, and all the other horrors that will constitute a “gift that keeps on giving.” Everything from groundwater pollution due to fracking to multiple meltdowns of nuclear power plants in the wake of yet another little gem of this “kinder gentler” global warfare: EMP.
Which is why I have just ordered a couple of solid-state drives to pop into my Faraday garbage can: And some copies of Ubuntu because I’m not certain that Microsoft products will keep on working forever is not “activated.” If EMP comes along, the data files on CD and the SSDs might be cobbled in, but that’s a discussion for another morning…
This morning I wanted to share a note from G.A. Steward, of www.theageofdesolation.com who is, to my way of thinking, the world’s leading Nostradamus expert:
Your question about a Global Islamic Caliphate gets a little smile from me, because when I finished the first draft of my book, The Age of Desolation, in 2007, I called it the Islamic Alliance. When I updated my book in 2013, everybody was calling the Arab Spring the beginning of a new Caliphate. But I couldn’t disagree more with that label. So, in my updated book, Nostradamus and the Age of Desolation, I called it what it rightfully will be, The Shadow Caliphate.
After the Mongols sacked Bagdad in 1258, which was the seat of the Abbasid caliphate, the Middle East was ruled by Hulagu Khan.
Khanates were conquered feudal states ruled by the Khans. Hulagu, the grandson of Genghis Khan was the founder of the Ilkhanate, based in Persia, present day Iran.
I actually find the present world situation very much in keeping with the prophecies of Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce. There is much overlap with their common use of historical names and symbolism with today’s global politics. Unfortunately the subtlety of their work generates much criticism and apathy.
So, if you print this, you and your readers can measure the prophecies and my interpretations against today’s world events. Iran, China, and Russia are the new power block in the Middle East. The West will be rejected as too weak.
Here are their prophecies, my interpretations follow.
Nostradamus Quatrain X-72
The year 1999, in July,
From the sky will come the great King of Terror:
Resuscitating the great King of the Mongols.
Before and after war reigns with good luck.
Edgar Cayce 3976-15
If there is not the acceptance in America of the closer brotherhood of man, the love the neighbor as self, civilization must wend its way westward – and again must Mongolia, must a hated people, be raised.
Is it [America] filling its destiny? …Yea, here and there … for, as given, His messenger shall appear there.
As you can see, both prophets used the term Mongols.
They also used Xerxes, the Infamous ruler of the Persian Empire, as another historical example in their predictions.Nostradamus Epistle: Paragraph 23:1
The great Empire of the Antichrist will begin where Attila and the new Xerxes [will] descend in numbers great and countless…
Edgar Cayce Reading 5748-5
In this same pyramid did the Great Initiate, the Master, take those last of the Brotherhood degrees with John, the forerunner of Him, at that place. As is indicated in that period where entrance is shown to be in that land that was set apart, as that promised to that peculiar peoples, as were rejected – as is shown in that portion when there is the turning back from the raising up of Xerxes as the deliverer from an unknown tongue or land, and again is there seen that this occurs in the entrance of the Messiah in this period – 1998.
Nostradamus and the Age of Desolation, Page 371:
Attila and his elder brother Bleda (Buda) inherited an empire that ranged from the Baltic Sea to the Caspian Sea. The Huns were either from Mongolia or Tatar (Azerbaijan). They first appeared in history when signing a treaty with the Eastern Roman Empire in Margus, now the city of Požarevac in eastern Serbia.
There is a theory that the origin of the Huns began with the nomadic tribes of Central Asia. The name of the Huns may be a cognate of Xiongnu, a people who became a confederation of tribes in Mongolia
Is it coincidental that both Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce saw the rise of a new Xerxes and Attila?
Why do Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce focus on 1998 and 1999?
Look at history:
March 24, 1999 – NATO attacks its first sovereign country, Serbia. (The Intention)
June 12, 1999 – George W. Bush announces he will run for President. (The Facilitator)
July 16, 1999 – John F. Kennedy Jr. dies in plane crash. (The Ritual Sacrifice)
December 31, 1999 – Vladimir Putin is made President of Russia (The Enemy)The Apocalypse was set in motion in 1999. It’s this subtlety of the dates given by both Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce that generates the apathy to prophecy that the majority of western society holds.
But who today will buy that a Pagan Sect within the ruling halls of power is into ritual sacrifice?
Nostradamus Epistle: Paragraph 17:2
Her dominator will fall into the pagan sect of the new infidels.
TRANSLATION: Nostradamus Epistle: Paragraph 23:1
The great Empire of the Third Antichrist will begin [when NATO forces attack Serbia on March 24th, 1999] where Attila first appeared in history and then [when NATO forces attack Iran] where Xerxes once ruled. [The defeat of Western forces will give birth to a New Xerxes, who will lead an Islamic army that will be allied with the Chinese], and they will descend on Europe in great and countless numbers.
Nostradamus and the Age of Desolation, Page 47
The United States and Russia will engage in a limited nuclear war.
VIII. The United States and Russia will engage in a limited nuclear war.
a) If Syria falls to NATO, Barack Obama is the Islamic Antichrist, the Dajjal. It will lead to a NATO attack on Iran and Saudi Arabia.
b) Russia will then invade Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, and many of the former Eastern European nations that belonged to the Warsaw Pact.
c) Great cities will be destroyed by earthquakes induced by satellites armed with Directed Energy weapons.
d) Russia will not attack Germany. Great Britain, Russia, Germany, and France will be the leading nations of the new Group of Seven Nations.
e) The Vatican will broker a ceasefire between NATO and Russia. Nostradamus called it the False Peace.
f) The United States will be isolated and dismembered by the new Group of Seven Nations. NATO troops from Great Britain and Europe will support Obama and send troops to occupy major cities.
Remember, I wrote most of this in 2007, then updated it in 2010 and 2013 when the players appeared. That really is the short version of the way I see things. By the way, I’m reading “The Master Game” by Graham Hancock and Robert Bauval. I am only half-way through it, but I cannot recommend it enough. It does confirm what I wrote in 2010 about the Gnostic Christians and their prophecies.
Understanding the appearance of this ISIS group in Syria and Iraq at this point in time is crucial to a root understanding of Nostradamus’ Pagan Sect. Hancock and Bauval give a great account of the ISIS symbolism that appeared during the French Revolution.
It’s all engineered, but even when you perfectly match up the pieces, people still have a hard time seeing the big picture. That’s why I just keep quiet these days. It’s a hard sell and time is short.
I’m actually turning my 1994 screenplay about an extraterrestrial invasion, Fallen Star, into a novel. Does the name sound familar? LOL
You know, when I was hiking a couple of weeks ago, I was reminded that materially, all we are is everything we can carry on our back. It’s something millions of refugees have had to do throughout history. I don’t think we’re too far from that.
Thanks for checking in.
Kindest Regards,
Stu
And somewhere in all of this, there is a point. As a risk-averse fellow, living apart in the woods (and spared the misery of freeways, thank you) I think it argues that the return to rural, the prepping, all those thing but not the least of which is reading history and living as it seems to suggest is the only rational course in life if you’d have your sons and daughters be part of that “thousand years after” group.
It doesn’t mean hide under the bed. But it suggests that these are historical times and historical forces in play and that to confront them at he front of ranks while a noble cause carries an inordinate amount of risk over the next 10-years, or so.
Answering a Fair Critic
At least one reader didn’t appreciate my take on the mindless global media’s feeding frenzy on the MH370 “autopilot” non-story this week.
George,
I normally think your pretty on top of things and you seem to be a smart guy. But I must admit I lost a little respect for your way of thinking when I read what you said about the autopilot on flight 370. Of course its important information. Autopilot doesn’t just keep a plane flying straight and level, it also steers the aircraft on a predetermined flight plan. And with previous articles saying that the pilot had input flight plans in is home flight simulator that went to the southern Indian ocean, the fact that the autopilot was on is very pertinent information. It would suggest that the final destination of the aircraft was not simply a haphazardly flown path, but rather a pre-planned route. Of course this raises more questions than it answers, but its still pertinent.
My answer?
Normally I don’t waste my time on non-subscriber discussions (world’s full of trolls and I’m a huge target of gov’t shills as you might expect). But….
You may find this hard to believe but I really know a great deal about autopilots. I’ll skip the resume but I have been a journeyman R&E mechanic and senior VP of an international jet airline and negotiated purchase of 737-300’s.
So allow me point out the hole in your thinking:
…the fact that the autopilot was on is very pertinent information…
“Fact?” It is NOT a fact. Some guy in Oz gets press hungry and goes blather? GMAFB
Unless he’s done a secret dive to the wreck site, this is UTTER crap and a questionable assertion at best.
The FACT that the aircraft did not crash near the destination argues that the autopilot was actually OFF, because normal sequencing is that the entire flight profile is entered in the preflight, the autopilot then sequences enroute to the approach selected during preflight for the destination.
A call to Boeing or Jeppeson would have revealed the flight profile of an un or improperly sequenced autopilot long ago…
Even old George took the time to become familiar with Chapter 4 of the 777 POH (Climb, cruise, descent, and holding).
Basically same as the 767: Climb out, auto transfer to the Enroute course(s) and a beep to get permission to begin flying the descent profile.
Once the a/c it out of fuel, the autopilot can not hold it, and it will stall /crash.
Boeing makes GREAT airplanes. Mindless Australian speculation doesn’t help the cause of aeronautical safety. Flying is a fact-based business and gravity will not be cheated. Any speculation about software, control settings, engine operations needs to be clearly labeled as speculation and the press gets an epic fail for the frenzy.
And as long as it’s that, I run a one-man online news source that’s going to call BS when I smell it.
George
Just to “keep sharp” (age 65, remember, and an aviation safety nut) I will be doing my Biennial Flight Review (BFR) annually. Required every two years, but I want seasoned eyes assessing my skills more frequently.
My CFI is a long-time 767 pilot (and accomplished aerobatics flyer) who, like me, seemed pretty much appalled with the autopilot “conclusion.” So it’s not just me. Ask a high time wide-body driver and you might get the same answer.
Around the Ranch: Studio Comes Together
Elaine finished the wall treatments of our “music room” yesterday and UPS ought to have our LED track lighting here tonight. While I wander off to lunch in town with Oilman2, Elaine will finish off the paint so after lunch I will be home with the window casing wood and the engineered floor.
That means this weekend we should get the bulk of the work on the shell done (including flooring). That will leave finish wiring (speakers and such) for next week and building the desk and installing gear.
At the end of it, should be about as good a music room as a fellow could want:
- 16 channel FireWire mixer
- My trust DAW Magix Samplitude Pro X (Software Download)
- Plus Music Maker 2014 Premium
- A ton of their sample libraries (Sound Pools
- PrintMusic 2014 1.0
- Garritan Personal Orchestra
- And for video: Sony Movie Studio Platinum Suite 12
The video will come from a GoPro Hero 2 I picked up cheap with all the accessories. And then around the room will be the instruments:
- Cheap/used Pearl drum set
- Violin
- Bass guitar and amp
- Acoustic guitar
- Syth 1 (old/well used Yamaha circa 2000)
- USB full-size keyboard
- Clarinet
- Rhythm eggs, sticks, etc
- Harmonica, slide whistles and so forth ( Spike Jones fan)
Our music is like that 6:30 segment…’cept not quite as manic…
Now toss in enough cabling and mics to capture all that.
The funny part is, I’m a terrible musician. So we’ll be having friends over to do the tracking. I just enjoy the capturing all the sound and then releasing it.
It is amazing what you can find on Craigslist and eBay in the way of used gear. This is not a high-end effort, but Elaine and I both like music, even if it’s only a few Karaoke tracks, mixed with a few plug-ins to fix pitch and add harmony…
Besides, most of the materials are recycles/reused…
Pictures when it becomes presentable.
Have a great weekend, write when you break-even and always keep in mind:
You’re only limited by your dreams.
