Beyond ERP: LRP and PRP?

Peace with the Robots?  A Life Resource Planner to better use global resources?  Sounds a bit sci-fi, to be sure, but we may have no choice.

Today on the UrbanSurvival side, I offer a few public comments about the Lifealyzer concept,  That is:  Are we approaching a juncture where governments will need to cede social control to a global Ai platform…and if so, what’s the payoff?  Risks?

Think of this is a kind of “latter-day virtual Technocracy.”  In other words, since humans are losing control, how do we take existing methods and “best practices” are get ahead of the problem?

Since I’ve been involved in a cyber security project, the need to look-ahead and make conscious decisions about the Man-Machine Coexistence (MMC) question has really solidified.  Especially since my colleagues in the new venture are former ERP colleagues quite expert in their fields.

So “Peace with the Robots?”  Planetary Resource Planner? And how do we migrate that way?  After a few headlines and the ChartPack plus the crash date matrix we’ll lay it out…

  1. More on Technocracy: https://www.technocracyinc.org/ Note how the web site has something our host might be into. Ure-interesting as it were. https://www.technocracyinc.org/aquaponics/ And as our host likes looking at economics another way AND points out rainfall and its effects one of the movers and shakers in the formal Technocracy movement was computer science author Howard Odum. The reason for mentioning him here today? eMergy. Energy Accounting. https://cep.ees.ufl.edu/emergy/documents/presentations/ICEAM-9=Emergy-Evaluation.pdf and https://www.researchgate.net/publication/233379945_SCALE_Software_for_CALculating_Emergy_based_on_life_cycle_inventories with old software here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/emsim/ Eventually you can find THIS rabbit hole: http://www.openlca.org/openlca/ Enjoy!

  2. The foundational flaw that I see in your proposition is you applied “clear-headed thinking” to begin with. IMO the overwhelming majority of upright apes are incapable of clear-headed thinking which is why the world is in such an effed up state. Just how we get to a point where the majority does use clear-headed thinking is the ultimate question.

  3. The good I see in the AI & Robotics revolution is the opportunity to profit in the stock market. It would seem the semiconductor industry would be a biggest benefactor in this revolution since Robots love chips. Stocks like AMD, TER, CY STM, MU, etc would do very well. Who doesn’t like BattleBots on TV & the giant Nut. I started with AMD but to accomplish this I will need to sell my GOOGL position, but I think GOOGL has lost the market support it once had. It will be tough because I hate change.

Also semiconductor stocks have taken a hit lately & are at an attractive price.

    • ECS…If the puppeteers get the hair up their tushes that a war would be the route to go..and there was a flash bang…sticks and stones would be the tools of choice.

  4. I started using a new indicator called the Automatic Trend Line with settings of Number of Days 6, Trend Break (%) 1.5, Max Trend Deviation (%) 5, Bullish (green), Bearish (red).

It seems to work on telling when to sell best, which is good, because that is very hard for me to determine, but it works well on the buy side for 3X ETF’s. The TQQQ I bought last week is still green.

  5. There was a Netflix program about this very thing a couple years ago. It was called Travelers. The global AI sends operatives back into the past to try and fix what us lowly Humans screwed up.
