  1. In a historic case Colin Gray – father of a school shooter -has been found guilty of murder even before the shooter went to trial and found guilty. The son, Colt Gray could be acquitted or get the trial cancelled by perhaps hanging himself like Epstein. Then what – Colin is released and refunded trial costs?

    Since this verdict is ground breaking we can’t predict where the law goes now but who can argue against keeping the children safe? I think this will bring mandatory liability insurance for firearms. Firearm ownership will become unaffordable and that’s the backdoor grab.

    Separately, the Oxford High School shooting victims wanted $100,000,000 per victim. What will the algo say liability insurance should cost per firearm?

    A U.S. submarine [ unnamed ] has sunk an Iranian warship in international waters off the coast of Sri Lanka.

    First time since WWll that the U.S. has used a torpedo to sink an enemy vessel.

    Does this mean that any Iranian naval vessel is now ‘free game’ outside of it’s home waters? That’s a “Turkey Shoot” if I ever heard one.

        The history doesn’t support it. Peking University (1898) and Tsinghua (1911) were Chinese institutions long before modern geopolitics, even if they later had Western academic ties.

        Belt & Road is real strategy, but saying every conflict in Eurasia is a coordinated anti-BRI war is a stretch.

        And the biggest reality check: major power war doesn’t grind forward through elaborate multi-stage plans anymore. Russia’s doctrine alone makes escalation go nuclear long before a “China-next” scenario plays out.

        So it’s probably safer to park the grand conspiracy model and stay on reality road.

    This is a stupid question……Ukraine is a big farming agriculture area….People keep talking about Ukraine’s food production dropping like it’s just a matter of planting less. Ukraine is one of the world’s major farming regions—grain, corn, sunflower oil , all of it.
    But farming isn’t as simple as “jump on a tractor and go.” The photos coming out of the region show giant craters, twisted metal, and unexploded shells all over the fields. You can’t farm land that might blow up under you. Before a single seed gets planted, someone has to clear all that debris and unexploded ordnance, and that’s slow, dangerous work. The world relies on that farmland, but right now a lot of it isn’t just damaged—it’s unsafe. That’s the part people seem to forget…. So who’s going to clean that mess up..and what about the mass of farmers that obviously will be gone..dead or dissabled..the lost farm equipment etc..

Former British military island accomodations have been dramatically refurbished to be the opulent Capella Hotel which hosted the Trump-Kim Summit in 2018. Capella, the Goat Star, is a quadruple star system in the Auriga constellation.

      Iranian Navy destroyer Dena participated in India’s recently concluded IFR. The US Navy has announced its sinking of the Dena possibly while it made its way back home. Sri Lankan services are collecting survivors and the deceased. Dena is named after Mount Dena situated in Iran. It may translate according to Zoroastrians as “vision, insight, conscience, or a spiritual figure/moral conscience who appears to a soul after death”.

      I don’t know..I see the poison pawn trap..we’re trying a grab and go.. The futility I’m trying to point out has nothing to do with taking sides . It’s about the simple reality that no nation can stay strong while constantly engaged in conflict. Our adversaries have spent years preparing for long , grinding wars with underground bases , hardened bunkers , and dispersed command centers. and ghost cities and factories.. oh yes they have been adding backup power generation to for a stronger grid…( oh my..did I just make a point where I could add in my solar tower at every sub station and hand out grid tie solar power systems to every home owner..lol)
      Meanwhile, every day we stay involved drains our vital reserve resources, our stockpiles, and ultimately the people who pay for all of it and their cost of living making a progressive move towards hyper inflation and weakening the fiat currencies… History shows that prolonged warfare weakens even the strongest nations from within .       • As I understand it, the torpedo used fires deep and detonates below the target. This creates a giant cavitation bubble and the ship is no longer buoyant. It breaks apart under it’s own mass and sinks.

  17. Patents: I have 4 on Automated Welding Systems, and 1 on a basic mechanism. In my opinion, patents are worthless unless there is big money to defend them. Blatant copies (a la China) or using the patent disclosure as a guide to circumvent with minor changes. I do wish your effort success, but suggest you consider keeping them as trade secrets, to be sold or licensed to a prospective well-heeled prospective user.

    • Oh..on the patents …yup..years ago I had an idea..did a patent check only to discover..it was already patented..so I wrote the company told them that I had thought of patenting but they owned the patent and I’d love to see them make it..
      I heard nothing at all back…Then one day I came home..no letter or invoice nothing but many cases of the product I had written about for a normal use household it would have been about twenty years of product.. we burned through it in just under two….that was a thank you..and yes I keep a box of them in the biggie at all times…
      anyway my issue with filters for k-cups …I finally got the pattern down..lol instead of a hundred filters at thirteen bucks I get two hundred at a buck and a quarter..lol been thinking about heat sealing them but its not necessary..

    1 dependent on the quality of the prompts they are fed.
    2 they are optimized to deliver a certain kind of output (images, video, text in certain format (report, market evaluation, emails,) videos, and
    3 they are optimized based on what kind of impute they can use, or how many they can use, and how they can synthesize these inputs.
    It appears to be the Russel Cohle quote of “start asking the Right F**king questions (in the prompt).
    Is the architecture in the way the AI will accept the question (it has to be a right F’ing question) or is it in the chip itself, that will determine the correct prompt?

    the word allies is being whispered again after Trump trashed, belittled and scorned them. the war or “operation” may end in weeks or months but the damage and antipathy towards the US will take decades or longer to unravel. there is a visceral hatred of all things American, not just in the ME but also here in the western world. my brother went to the pub during the winter Olympics – 3 Chinese and 2 Americans facing off in the men’s aerials. the tradies were all cheering for the Chinese – never seen that happen before!

    on an Australian streaming service we are now seeing repeat tourism ads begging us to visit the US – not likely!

    Harvard did a nice study … Family history and genetics — BRCA1/BRCA2 and other inherited variants increase risk. and so has a bunch of other colleges.. success rates varied by your genetic makeup.. the variables are somewhere between 30% – 50% but then who knows the studies I have read are probably and could be total horse shit.. but being able to quote this and other studies..is a neck of a lot more fun.. and it keeps the family ties close..
