365 Crumbles – Big Lie Continues – Quiet Options – Disaster Over

$77-billion from disaster?  The Treasury reports today’s U.S. public debt to the penny at $34,923,277,120,226.95. As you look around, appreciate that’s a lot of free lunch.  But for whom? Not us…

Microsoft outage linked to Crowdstrike leads to global computer outage,

Although, more useful is How To Fix CrowdStrike Issue Causing Blue Screen Of Death On Your Windows PC.

Not a good day for Microsoft which has run into an I.T. wall. There is a huge hole in the internet this morning and you won’t want to step in it. Crowdstrike takes responsibility for outage, ABC News reports.  Not going to be a great day up in Redmond, WA, near as we can figure.  In the early preopen, Microsoft stock was trading down a bit more than 2 percent.

We are reminded – in the post-Convention world – that computers, social, communications, and software – are all key to the conduct of the upcoming election. Some have even suggested that Democrats – should Joe Biden be unable to effectively run – might use their political pressure to attempt an election postponement.

Or is the big digital mess to hide the second-shooter stories?

We also notice people like AOC says many who want Joe Biden off ticket also want to remove Kamala.  Still, not being able to field a team doesn’t mean the game is delayed, at least in sports.  We suggest that convention, or not, Biden-Harris will – barring unforeseen events – be what the dems put up. In a nutshell, there are America’s shortcomings, for you.

Unless, of course there’s a ‘digital shaping operation” going on.  Which was somehow triggered by an old Forbes article. We scratch our head wondering how – or if – politics figures into any of what’s making the rounds today.  Planting seeds like “Well, if the net doesn’t work on Election eve….”

Maybe I should have taken my meds this morning, huh?

This doesn’t seem to be helping ol’ Joe: Polymarket | Democratic Nominee 2024 Kamala leading.

Options Day Calming

As of the early Futures today, we have several ways of considering the market.  Two pictures and a calculation.  Ready, set?

Our first picture is based on our Aggregate Index.  Which takes the “how all the money in the world in paper assets called stocks” is going in America.

This second picture is from our work (on the Peoplenomics.com side of the house) on how the future rolls over. Once a “roll” begins, you can track its direction, momentum, and even acceleration.

Thing of it this way: One bad day in the market will happen, of course, now and then.  Two days – yeah, that too.  Three can get a little disheartening.  But as you add sour trading days over time, people begin to shift their long-term outlooks.  We keep a two-day average versus 12-day average study because that is very interesting if you’re a speed-freak day trader sort. (Who, me?)

As you can see upper right, we have plowed down through the 12-day moving average.  Although we don’t get alarmed for bullish “widow and orphan” money yet, the 85-day moving average is where concern builds.  Funds tend to look at the 50, 100, and 200-day averages for allocations.

Now to the final point.  Our Aggregate Index in the preopen was around 47,445.  A month ago, options day, the close was 46,420.  Ure’s calculation says that a one-month gain of?  Call it 2.2 percent for the month. Rounds off to the market rising at 30 percent per year.

So intractable wars in Ukraine, Gaza, drooler dem rerun, Bank of Japan having policy problems (ICYMI – IMF says the Bank of Japan is facing challenges ensuring price stability). Maybe this is the “wall of worry Wall Street climbs” but it’s a rather  poor rationale as bullish decision support, in our view.

Just out of sight is an even bigger problem.  The West (read: NATO/US) have a pretty good idea of how Russia will react to the escalations in Ukraine.  A source reminds us, Russia has always been clear about when they would “cross the threshold” and it’s well-described in their military doctrine. On the other hand, China is about the exact opposite. They are not open of about nuclear, chemical, biological and such in their public doctrine.  They almost see “wild shoot from hip if time comes” about it.

But, it could be the West getting it wrong, too.  Under the heading of “Never tell your enemies when they are making mistakes.”

Europe & WEF Big Lies Continue

At the uber/macro level, the Big Lies about civilization will continue to be well-controlled by moneyed interests.  This is because The EU just re-elected its president for another five years — here’s what that means for tech | TechCrunch.

She is specifically dangerous as a key frontperson to the Big Economic Lie that keeps humanity hobbled.  Specifically through the corporate bug promoters at the World Economic forum who want to bag cow farts and service roast roaches instead. Ursula von der Leyen – Agenda Contributor | World Economic Forum (weforum.org).

[Yes, we notice that all of a sudden, borders really do matter in, um, Europe! EU meets on Ukraine and migrant influx.]

Don’t Understand the Big Lie?

I’ve been studying economics for more than 50-years.  And it’s all based on a simple fact: Scarcity drives Price.  In my latest book (The 100-year Toaster) I go through much of what passes for modernity with a bullshit detector running. Two simple facts emerge (which Ms Ursula doesn’t promote).

  1. There are not “too many people.”  Sure, it seems that way because there seems to be resource depletion. But the real BIG underlying problem is?
  2. The World is awash in shitty goods. We could cut carbon by 60 percent if all goods would just last 10-years, or longer.

As long as the Fact of Quality is hidden from the public, the “game” of 3-year product live can be repeated over and over.
Stop!  We need slower resource turnover (including of people).

There is a screaming global need for a different agenda, otherwise we’re going to blow the world up.  Marx was wrong. Crony capitalism is wrong. (AOC and Bernie are wrong…).  We are simply (and by design) not acquainted with the notion of “One product for Life.”

Obviously, there is a reason. Doesn’t create enough jobs.  And this, in turn means there’s less to tax.  Less for politicians to spend.  Shorter work weeks, more vacation time, and lot of time to pursue our own highest-best-ends – all that is out the window and “back in the rat race.”

We aren’t allowed to go there. Because clear-cutting and strip mining for lithium and uranium, and oil, is all we seem focused on.  Quite a damn shame.

Maybe this is the path to “get there” – to a world bereft of resources where people are free to “walk the world” again, because there won’t be any other way to go.

We have a reasonably high confidence level that part of the economic depression of 2025 (and beyond) will arise due to the short product lifespan model blowing up.

Compounding national debt only works as long as tax revenues are going up faster than compound interest.  With a National Debt of $35-trillion (this weekend?) a 3 percent interest rate means collecting $1 trillion a year in taxes.  What’s worse?  We have only 160-million people working in America.  Each of us with jobs has to pay $6,562 per year in taxes just to hold the debt from ballooning further.

Spend a little time at Federal Spending | U.S. Treasury Fiscal Data and you’ll see the FedGov spent over $6-trillion last year. Which means every worker is being taxed $39,372. Just to breakeven.

Defenders of the Disposable World – owned by rich corporations and shoving down depletion on those of us who work and shoveling crap like eating bugs – will argue a lot of that money comes from tariffs.  But, again, it’s all a lie.  All taxes are paid by human workers and anyone who tells you otherwise is a liar or worse. Just because government collects the tax doesn’t mean tariffs are “free” – they are baked into product cost as higher prices at the store. Government if a profit center, in case you’re slow on the uptake. That’s why they have a bigger and better retirement system, see?

In the meantime, we do have to credit the Asian car companies for being among the first to build a 100,000-mile car, while Detroit was building crap with four wheels.  Yet when a genuine quality company comes along (like Checker Motors) that build NY Taxis that would routinely drive 1-2 million miles, what did corporations do?  Ran ’em into bankruptcy.  Not a “sexy hooptie” but a great automobile.

Yet – sadly – few see this as corruption at the core  values level. Instead, the corporations that donate to political hacks get rewarded with bailouts (looking at you, GM). Corporate insiders all did OK. Actual working people? Not so much.

We have evolved a new and somewhat skeptical eye towards retirement funds in the process.  You remember this little gem? Taxpayers’ $36 Billion Pension-Fund Bailout Comes With One Thin String Attached (forbes.com)?

If we are going to “save America” perhaps some actual good can come out of the looming depression ahead (which this bonfire of the equities feeds into).  If we can close down all the “special people” retirements and put all people in America into a single payer plan – like we have (sort of) done with healthcare.  Roll in all the discrete government plans and mark everyone to market to reduce income differentials which, in turn, would reduce social stress.

Won’t bore you with more except to say thank you for the first reader review of The 100-year Toaster on Amazon:

I am still focused on repair work after our massive lightning mess here earlier this week.

So far, the tab is (at least one) of the solar power inverters is dead.  Call it $1,750,  Made even more difficult because Outback Power seems to be moving to Texas. They are impossible to get hold of by phone.  And this has me considering other options – like, for example – putting in a whole new hybrid inverter system…

  1. I heard last night of how illegals are taking over American jobs. If I remember correctly, there use to be a little box on an employment application that asked, “Are you a US Citizen?” Simple enough, it’s a yes or no answer. Showing ID and SS card to validate.

We bitch about illegals taking our jobs but we hear crickets, when we consider WHO IS GIVING THE JOBS TO ILLEGALS? – it’s not as if an illegal is pushing the US Citizen out of the way at the employment line.

We bitch in one hand and encourage in the other. Free rides given by the present administration only perpetuate the problem.

Woke folk wanna sit on their ass while illegals do all the work. Like giving a guy a fishing pole and expecting him to catch dinner for you, while you play video games. It shouldn’t work like that but, it does.

The right goes after illegals, and the left spins it to (seem like) ALL LATINOS GOTTA GO, Legal or not. – and unfortunately, there are woke dumb asses who believe that.

We create our own storms then bitch cuz it’s raining.

The way this country is being run, doesn’t make sense. We cannot continue with this insanity.

    • “We create our own storms then bitch cuz it’s raining.”

we also create our own dreams. one of my meditation books was about dreams becoming reality.

“Some when they compare the ambitions they had when they first took action with what they have actually achieved , they are astounded. we often find more dreams come true than we could ever have imagined.”

Good Morning Bob. the races were wonderful last night. had a really good time watching ages 6 to 18 race winged mini sprints on a clay track. this little 9 year girl sitting in front of me in her little race suit says to me. you a real cowboy mister. i said yes mam. she said you watch my heat race? i said yep. what number is your car? she said 22D. i said ohh you are fast! she you bet your ass i am. i laughed. funny thing to hear from a 9 year old little girl. they are running suped up 275 briggs and stranton lawn mower moters. the car ways about 250lbs and they use methenol for fuel. they are pretty damn fast. haha.

she you going to cheer for me in the A main cowboy? i said yes Mam. i will go stand by turn 2 and cheer for you. she said im starting in the back of the pack but dont you worry. she held up a fist and said i can whip most of these boys in parking lot and i can sure out race them. hahaa.

she started in position #20 and finished in 2cd place by a nose. she almost won. she passed all the other cars in 20 laps.

when she came around the corner the lap after the checkered flag dropped. she slowed down looked at me and gave me two thumbs up as she went past. i tip my hat and bowed in recognition. i said well done young lady. well done. of couse she couldnt hear me say that. but i said it anyway.

i thought. that is the future of America, right there.

i am a little nervouse about the background check. they inverview your ex wives. one will say nothing but good about me. im not sure about the other one. they look everything you ever said and did. i wonder if on the polygraph if they will ask me about comments here and glp and my old website. i wonder if they will ask me about the zero report. hmmm.

they are cerainly pushing through the process fast. lightning fast.

ya know Bob. there is always this series of interlinking tests. right before the big thing. and you might not even know what the big thing is. its the way the universe operates. i will give ya an example.

before the border patrol job came into view.

i went to the store and bought a few items. when i got home i relized i didnt scan the salsa i bought in the self check out. it was late. so the next day. i went to the store and said hey im pay for this, i was here yesterday and it didnt scan. the employee at safeway said what?? you know how many people steal from the store? i said i dont. im not a theif. im paying for it. he said ok. i paid for it and i left.

the next day someone leaves a box with a brand new pair of $500 Jordens in the parking lot where i work. i called Soc and told them i found a high dollar item. they said we are not giving you a seriel number for tennis shoes. they were my exact size. they said put em in lost and found and if noone claims them, you can keep them. i told them, they are not mine, i didnt pay for them
im not keeping them. i put them in the lost found. someone else took them.

3 days later i found a little kids wallet on a train. i asked the lady sitting next to it laying on the floor. is that your wallet? she said no. i said are you sure. she i never seen it. i opened it up and there was $1000 cash in it. no id at all. i called it in, counted it with a supervisor, tagged it and bagged it. quite a few people said id took the cash. i said its not mine. im not a thief.

the next day a fella came in with his son who had saved all his alowance and money doing odd jobs to buy a dirt bike. the kid offered me a $50 reward for turning his wallet in. i said i cant accept that young man. im just doing my job. thank you. i hope you have fun on your dirt bike.

a few weeks go by and our company has this new points system. where you only get one point for being late for work but you get 10 points for leaving work after your shift before your relief comes on. so you get punished for showing up on time and working all day, leaving on time after your shift and rewarded for being late for work. which is stupid. everyone agrees with that.

there was a bunch of uniform coats in the office people left in there because its hot out and nobody wears their coats now. one of the night supervisors got pissed about the new policy and all the coats in the office and threw all the uniform coats in the garbage can.

which is a big no no when your working security. because all the homeless people get in the dumpsters. and the last thing you want is a homeless fentanyl addict running around doing stupid shit in security uniform. i grabbed them all out of there and took them into the office on my day off.

when they asked me who threw them in the trash. i said i dont know. but i dont want someone to do something stupid wearing one and paint a taget on my fellows. so i brought them in.

the next day a few guys heard what i did. and said why did you get them out of the trash and take them into the office. i said because you dont do that shit. they said the company is fucking all the good employess with the points system and rewarding the people who are lazy and late for work. i said i dont care what the company is doing. i care about doing what is right. they said so what do you get out of it? i said i didnt do it to get anything out of it. i did it because throwing our uniform coats in the trash is wrong. i didnt do it for anything for me. i dont care what the company does. i dont care about their points system. i did it because its the right thing to do. you dont throw uniform coats in the trash. ever.

the very next day i was applying for a job driving the light rail. and the border patrol job fell in my lap.

its almost like the universe or whatever says, will ya settle for tub of salsa? how about a $500 pair of jordens? $1000 cash? no…. what about if the company is fucking the good guy and rewarding the lazy person? will ya settle for justified self rightouseness?????? you will still wont settle?

      ok, here ya go Andy:

      Big Cash and
      Prizes!

thanks. i am who i am.

isnt that the way of things Bob?

      • I think you’ll be fine on the polygraph. They mostly worry about ‘foreign entanglements’, but be prepared for some kind of off the wall question…like have you had an unnatural fondness for farm animals (Ex-wives don’t count as farm animals)!

        • thanks. i got an email from the special agent that said, contact me any time, if you have any issues on my cell number.

i looked and they have the exact last 4 numbers on there cell number as I do.

different area code and everything else. but the same exact last 4 numbers.

          Thanks Major. i apreciate it.

        • ex wives can be ferrel.

lets hope X2 is over it and will have nothing to say but plesantrys.

my new friend, the 9 year old little race car driver came in 5th last night. tonight is the big finaly for the races. im not sure if im going. it gets out at midnight and i have to be up at 3am tommorrow.

i was praying this morning and doing a realistic inventory of my skills and abilites and this BP job. im not a big runner. im strong the other way. i lean heavy on the Mike Tyson rule and principle.

ie: if ya knock a person out in the first 17 seconds, you dont have to worry about a long fight.

and the BP principle is all about endurance, stamina and conditioning.

i already walk 15 to 22 miles a day in 30lbs of gear on a 8 to 12 hour day at work. that doesnt include i also do 100 to 200 flights of stairs a week in 30lbs of gear and make 200 contacts on average a day. every contact is a situation that has the potential to elivate to a life threatening situation. and those happen every week. most of the people experiancing homelessness and fentanyl addiction etc etc. know me by now and know i dont play around. i always start with being respectful and kindness. if you push it. im willing to throw down, and drag ya off the train. so most of them, 99% dont throw down with me anymore. lol.

after an 8 to 12 day of doing that. i go home take a shower, nap for an hour or two then work out for 45 minutes to an hour.

after working like i do, its hard to get back up and go do pullups, pushups, box jumps, sit ups for an hour.

im still at 235lbs. now i dropped 5 notches on my belt but im 235lbs still.i think im too heavy. im trying to cut to 215 to 220. im faster at that size.

i havent done much long distance running.

so im going to the highschool track today and run 2 miles, time it and see how i do.

when i do a realistic, personal inventory of proficiancies and deficiancies it gives me an honest self evaluation on what i need to work on. i think it is prudent to do self inventories regularly.

my number one proficiancy is, i have no quit in me. i dont give up. if i get knocked down? i get right back up. every time. i also have tons of grit and guts.

my cardio and ex #2 interview is my biggest defficiancies.

im also going to do some drawing today.

thajks again Major. your words mean alot to me.

when i sat and prayed this morning. i thought can i even do this? am i equiped as a man to do this? its real question, i have to ask. its not a doubt thing. its honest question. i sat and was quite for a while. breathing in holding and breathing out.

          after about 5 minutes.

the answer that came back was,

          The Father doeth the works.

          and it was so.

        • Andy, you will do fine. You’re in good hands.
(I have a deep “knowing” that we will hear from you sooner than later. It’s like this is an advnture leading to a different adventure than what you know so far. We are both pretty good Dude listeners. I hear “Wait till you see what happens next for Andy!” And it feels positive…just don’t have words around it. Just the knowing part. Other readers note: People who have the “deep listening” often experience the :deeply known: part long before thge words and then contexts and plans and actions all show up. It is because we are not “stuff” learning to think. We are spirits learning “stuff.”)

        • after my comment i opened a meditation book next to me to a random page.

ya see all this is one big dialog between THE DUDE and me. even BP is part of that dialog. even my conversation with you Major is part of that dialog. all creation loves to communicate.

          this is what i read,

“Do not afraid to be different than other people. The path I have called you to travel is exquistely right for you. The closer you follow My Leading, The more fully I can develop your gifts. To follow Me wholeheartedly, you must relinquish your desire to please other people. However, your closeness to Me will bless others by enabling you to shine brightly in this dark world.”

          to which i replied,

Thy Will be done. as it is in Heaven so It is on Earth.

        • thanks George. i had a moment with my mortalty this morning. the oldest person to complete the BP accadmy is 54. in less than a month i will be 54.

i know i can pass everything and get into the accadmy.

i have so many people who believe in me and think you arnt like anyone else. you are freak physically. nobody else at your age can do all you can do. and all that sounds good. but the reality is. im going to be 54 soon. and if i pass the accadmy? i may be the oldest man to do so.

99% of the men. my age and most of the men younger than me arent winging off to do stuff like this.

im definently not a god. i am a man.

so i dont know dude… i appreciate the good thoughts and prayers.

i have alot of second thoughts about all this, this morning. when i got to work, a young lady walked up and handed me this. she said i picked it for someone who is really brave. she said, here. im giving it to you. i said thank you. it smelled soo good.

          https://x.com/ore_train_11/status/1815058849055060115?t=5xbl5huPlRi2mi2TSF6OOA&s=19

after she left i gave it to an older lady heading on the south bound train. she looked sad so i gave it to her just to see her smile.

          Thanks George.

we’ll see what THE DUDE can do with fella like me.

        • i read that again George.

          thanks! means alot.

even i have my moments where i think. fuck, im getting to old for this shit. lol

and most of friends all say, yes you are 54, but you are a bad ass. you are an ass kicker. only fella i know whi can be gentle enough to sit still and hold a butterfly in his hand and strong enough that even the boarder patrol wants him.

Andy, alot of people look up to you. and do things they wouldnt have the guts to try, because they see you doing what your doing.

and i think thats great and all. but im more of a sit on the porch, smoke a cig, drink some coffee and think a while fella. maybe go over to your grandmas house and knock boots after. hahahhaha honestly. haha

          thanks again George.

      • … and your point Andy is what??????????????

Ach so, you only, are the most
        honest of the DUDE’s creatures,
and now feel sorry for yourself ?

        • ya know i had a big wasp come in my open window when i was sleeping a few weeks back. big wasp.

bees dont bother me much. they never sting me. i have never been stung by a honey bee or a bumble. not a single time. im sure im not the only one. maybe you have had a similar experiance.

now a wasp isnt a bee.

i said get out of here. and it did. the wasp went to the cracked window and left. my roomate said wow it listened to you. i said ya. that was weird.

a few days later i was taking a nap. another wasp came in and flying around my bed. i said get out. but it didnt listen. it was buzzing around by the top of the bedroom wall.

my roomates girl friend was standing their holding a bunch of tarot cards. she you need something to kill it? i said hand me one of those cards. she laughed fanned them out. i picked one. she ever throw a card? i said nope. but if i can knock it off the wall up there i can smash it with my cowboy boot. she said you are not going to look at what card it is? i said nope.

i held the card between my middle fingers aimed as best i could. flung the tarot card and bam! it cut the head clean off the wasp! clean off! the wasps body fell right to the ground. we ran over and looked. no head on the wasp. the tarot card laid face down.

she said wow! how did ya do that???? you cut the head off that wasp! that was some strait ninja shit right there!! i said lucky shot. i was just trying to knock it down and squish it.

i picked up the card off the floor and handed it back to her. she laughed turned it over. Ace of swords.

          we both laughed.

not a single wasp has come back.

maybe that is a normal thing for everyone else. first for me tho.

        • I think Andy’s point was do the right thing no matter what extenuating circumstances may be going on. Not just because it will benefit you in some way, shape or form.

      • “ isnt that the way of things Bob?”

Yes Sir, that is the way of things.

I have stories as well but, my silence about is to not draw attention to me, but to simply be grateful for the opportunity presented so I could be of help to the Divine. Secrets.

I see people walk past my home everyday and think nothing of it but, every once in a while my attention focuses on someone and I hear a particular voice, a familiar whisper … “He needs help. Help him.” So I approach and nicely start of conversation and the voice is never wrong. That person needed help, though their physical/mental distress was not at all, obvious. Water, food, calling for professional help if need be, are the general cures for the moment. Helpful Redirection for those whom I find confused or lost. The heat has been brutal for some lately.

Cleaned up what was left of my neighbors dog who got killed in the street, very sad. My neighbor was in shock and I took care of everything for her, including a proper burial in her garden where she picked out for Chinco.

A few days later, I found Chinco’s collar in the street. Something told me to keep it and I did. Several days later, neighbors son asked if I’d found the collar. I said, “as a matter of fact, I have it and went and got it. – one of his patients had to give up Chinco and he took the dog in and gave it to his mother (my neighbor) He explained what happened to Chinco and the previous owner wanted the collar to make a memorial. Giving the collar back, gave some closure. – Love – When the voice speaks, Andy, I listen.

If I want anything for these little favors, it’s The Dude’s love and protection. Amen?

Peace Brother. Keep up the Good Works. You Da Man. ;)
“It what makes the world go round.”

        • (“every once in a while my attention focuses on someone and I hear a particular voice, a familiar whisper … “He needs help. Help him.” )

that is it too.. exactly.. after a while you can see it.. I know the biggest loss is if you hear that whisper and are not able to do anything.. that is the biggest loss there is..

        • Amen Brother Bob! Amen!

thank you for sharing that. im touched. good stuff.

          really good stuff.

    • Could have been maybe 20 years ago or so.

Dont know if it was California or the entire nation.

There was a program that the street referred to as “Be a boss , go to jail”. The Gov was failing miserably at ensuring elligibility , and verification , so , it was put on the employers.

I had no way of verifying the credentials , but once the I-9 form was filled out , it fell on me. I would be the one to get into trouble if a hire provided false credentials. I was also supposed to “know” if someone was using a “borrowed” SSN. No government data base , nothing to help. I was supposed to LOOK at an SSN card and KNOW if it was real or not.

Im sure I’ll get roasted for this. I was one of those people giving jobs to PROBABLE illegals. I tried very much to hire Blacks , Whites etc , but when it came down to it , I could only hire Asians and Latins. Paid good money , vacations , sick days and holidays but it wasnt enough. Commonly agreed to is that whitey ( with zero experience , shitty resume ) was holding out for a “management position”.

I could go on and on.

    • and bob. i see people, even on here occasionally in the comment section settle for the $4.95 tub of salsa.

      it has been my experiance,
sometimes its good to sit for a moment and breath in wisdom, hold for a 2 count, then exhale foolishness.

kinda like filling up a balloon. except, you are the balloon.

eventually all the foolishness is pushed out by the drawing in of wisdom and you are breathing in wisdom and exhaling wisdom out.

      simple concept.

okay, gotta run. things are moving fast. even for me. 3 phone calls this morning. hey! we need to schedule your fitness test. hey we need to schedule your physical!

im like hey! i need to get some coffee. hahahaha

fuck i could be down there within 10 days.

i wont be on here while in training. so about 7 and a half months. im sure you are all quite capable men and women to survive without me and my 2 cents for that long.

Off to do some bullet proof super hero shit.

      ~ La Dolce Vita ~

      • (“i see people, even on here occasionally in the comment section settle for the $4.95 tub of salsa.”)

Hmm.. if you want good salsa.. go to trader joes.. get their brand.. and it is 2.29 for twelve ounces..
good stuff.. the big thing for me.. is I like chunky salsa.. so I add a can of chopped tomatoes to it..
the same with Aldi’s salsa brand.. I like the one with lime in it.and I add a can of chunky tomatoes in with it..

        • “salsa outsells ketchup every year in terms of total dollars spent on each condiment. But, Americans buy more pounds of ketchup. Salsa makes more profit, but people buy larger quantities of ketchup. In other words, salsa outperforms ketchup on the bottom line, but ketchup outperforms salsa in the grocery line.”

      • I respect what you did in every case Andy … but I know it is uncommon in today’s society to do all of those things, though some might do one or two.

Good luck on the screening process. I hope it works out for you, it should but if not it is because God has other more important plans for you.

    • “The way this country is being run, doesn’t make sense. We cannot continue with this insanity.”

It makes perfect sense. Really bad, weird, and possibly socially suicidal stuff is going on. This should be fairly obvious to anyone who can be honest with themselves.

Since the crap is going on, there must be a reason. Since the crap seems to be intentional, logically, it must be being caused.

Where people have an issue is the crap scares them so much, they cannot acknowledge that it is directed. They completely overlook its direction because they also can not accept the possibility that anyone could be so evil or deranged that they would be willingly causing this stuff to happen.

      Free your mind.

      Eliminate everything that is impossible.

Whatever is left, no matter how improbable, perverse, or anti-social, MUST be the explanation.

      • (“They completely overlook its direction because they also can not accept the possibility that anyone could be so evil or deranged that they would be willingly causing this stuff to happen.”)

Seriously you hate to admit that it is going on.. disbelief.. similar to all the members of the Jewish community that supported and helped Adolph Hitler into power.. they pushed him and helped him at every angle.. they had the power and the money not even knowing he was an evil devious and corrupt person.. then when it started to come out just how deviant he was.. they tried to not see or admit that it was happening.. the woman I knew who had to escape the camps.. she was totally shocked that the candidate of her family and friend choice was so bad.. it didn’t make any sense they couldn’t be that bad could they…. then when it was obvious that they were coming for them they escaped in the middle of the night left everything hiding in ditches and culverts…
all the way up to her passing she would once in a while say.. what did we do…..in unbelief of how much they refused to even acknowledge the evil that they helped put in power..

? any job postings for “Clearance Team”/solar wardens? got be better work than ukraine or gaza.

? why vp candidate vance part of battele corp (evil biowarfare concern) ? just another DS whore like tRump and Bribem? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    • In case anybody wants to look it up, the correct name is:
      Battelle Memorial Institute

      What is it?
It is the largest non-government research entity in the United States, actually in the world, employing SEVERAL THOUSAND Phd SCIENTISTS and does contract research for corporations and the US Government, including in the fields of nuclear (both for later civilian use AND nuclear weapons), metals, and biological.

It is a non-profit entity that does NO manufacturing, produces no products that are sold, only research and product development (they developed the Xerox copying process among thousands of other things).

YEP .. they have a long history of doing weapons research, nasty weapons, weapons that are designed to kill millions … in addition to doing related medical research in the nuclear and biological areas for trying to save lives.

Probably the lrgest pure research organization in the world. It alone does more basic research than all European entities combined, including Europe’s universities, yet nobody has ever heard about it if they aren’t in the research and high tech arena.

      • I have heard of Battelle. Their headquarters are in Columbus Ohio and I lived and By as a librarian near there. They ran occasional workshops and seminars in the information science area. Participants would be escorted to and from the auditorium. I still remember the placard by every door “Do you know the person behind you? Ask to see their ID.”

  3. That must’ve been one hell of a lighting storm overall because we had one here, as well, around 0600 when that system moved up from Texas. The neighbor’s house was struck significantly enough that the FD showed up. That might be the event that causes me to finally pull the trigger on a whole-house surge/EMF protector installed between the breaker box and the rest of the house.

Moving on, I spent some time looking at the ‘second shooter’ video. What I see is a combination of shadow, poor resolution and camera shake. No second shooter, IMO.

    Y’all have a good weekend.

      • There’s a story for everyone. Pick one and ride it.

Recall Trump campaigning on releasing the Kennedy assassination documents. Now Trump can campaign on releasing the Trump attempted assassination documents.

The one thing we know is if you think of the SS as a gang, the same gang is still ‘protecting’ Trump, just different soldiers. So nothing has changed.

      • The assassin didn’t shoot himself.

OR if you prefer: Every report created several echoes. Echoes reflecting from different places will have different timbres (i.e. they will sound different.)

        • Who the hell approved/Okayed the Flapping Flag overhead ? What the What ?

Talk about Wind speed and Direction confirmations..nice Set uP, like a movie scene almost..

    • The Siemens whole house surge protectors combined with an Arthur Bradley whole house ferrite set gives first rate protection:

      https://disasterpreparer.com/product/firstsurge-pro-140-ka-whole-house-ferrites/

You can get the Siemens units from other sources if Arthur is out of them; the ferrites are custom engineered . You won’t find the ferrites from an alternate source. Arthur modifies the ferrites, to stop them from saturating at high current.
Just keep in mind that a direct lightning strike on your incoming service after the transformer is going to do a lot of damage. The surge protectors are better at lightning EMP, and strikes on utility lines down the road.
I have a similar set-up with the ferrites on the main panel and two FS 100 surge protectors, one on the main panel and one on a subpanel. The longer you keep the surge protection going to ground, the better your chance of dropping the main breaker.

    • In other words, if foreigner would cash in their US-paper, they could conceivably use cash to buy the “ground from under our feet” with the ( honest? ) approval of our SCOTUS, SENATE, & CONGRESS,
who will get substantially rewarded for approval.

Our benefit would be “elimination of war” ;-)).

      • that is my fear exactly.. just imagine.. the companies that buy home mortgages.. each of those mortgage papers are sold to outlying companies.. so.. are these companies owned by other countries.. and each of those mortgage papers has a thirty day clause..

  4. I wouldnt mind having some government incentives to replace existing lawns with a new lawn looks the same, tastes the same feels the same but only grows 3-4″ in height and thats that, boom one and done. sell your mowers sell your edgers and get some clean air. good for the earth and makes the weekend even nicer. win win win

wish I could do the math on just how good bad that would be

    • Already developed.

Scotts, the company that makes all sorts of stuff to put ON your lawn over 20 years of R&D had developed that type of grass … and for now has put that product that they developed at great cost “out to pasture” so to speak.

They haven’t been able to figure out how to turn it into a continuing stream of income …. so not wanting to put their entire company out of business they have decided to do nothing more with that “grow once and forget” product.

It’s all about the Business Plan you see … something Ure always talking about … ;-0

    • That grass has been around since about the end of WW-II. It was developed as a “carpet grass” for golf courses. It is sold in plugs, is a creeper/spreader, and has an extensive root system, designed to choke out all other grasses and “lawn issues.”

      Search “Meyer Zoysia…”

  5. National Debt: is there anyone to blame except us as selfish voters? Most of us want some goodies from government. Welfare, Social security, Medicare, Obama care, Military spending, illegal alien spending, student debt forgiveness. Yet we don’t want to personally pay for all the largess. So we vote for people that whisper those sweet nothings in our ear. Vote for me and I will continue to provide your preferred goody and will just add that to your descendants bill. So although I think most leaders are selfish scumbags out for their own interest, they completely reflect their voters. A long time ago we gave up on holding leadership to their constitutional powers and voters found much easier to vote for largess instead of working for it. So eventually this ponzi scheme will collapse and the economy will reset. There is no road ahead of becoming responsible for ourselves and paying our debts. When this does collapse we have to pray we have some level of moral people in charge to attempt to keep the death count as low as possible. But looking at the people we put in charge of us, that doesn’t seem likely.

    • Wait a minute Joe, I have paid into SS for 50 years, that’s my money. Not a government handout.

    • (“Most of us want some goodies from government. Welfare, Social security, Medicare, Obama care, “)

Most of us.. that worked slave labor.. hourly wage earners.. are told that the social security system and medicare were there as our retirement fund….
If we had had the choice to invest this in a secured fund or bonds…. at least the amount that we paid in not the amount that our employers had to invest in it.. each of us could have had a nice nest egg.. I did the math a few times and my portion that was deducted mandatorily from my paycheck.. if invested in something even as simple as savings bonds would have amounted to millions of dollars.. we didn’t have that choice though.. what we had to do is give it to congress that handed out those funds that we paid in to big bankers that got multi million dollar bonuses for doing a crappy job and wars.. not like the funds that are kept in a separate fund like govt employees that cannot be touched..
it isn’t asking for something we didn’t invest in.. it is expecting them to keep our savings separate.. and seriously the only reason that we still have the social security and medicare is that they need that income coming in to hand over to Ukraine and buy more bombs for wars.. give more time off to government employees.. It is not unreasonable for the elderly that have been told for decades that this is what we have to look forward to..

  6. “How To Fix CrowdStrike”

The big tech assumption is computer end users have multiple computers with one that hasn’t been affected and can find the answer to fix the problem big tech created. Too funny.

I have Win 11 and turned off updates, disabled the update service, tweaked the registry to disable updates and updates still come. I conceptualize current computers as big tech thin clients. If my computer goes down because of big tech’s mishap am I made whole? Nope. EULA says my risk.

    • What pisses me off about Windows 11 is that I can find NO way to stop the auto updates.

I have tied everything that a non-computer type can do and nothing has stopped Microsoft from taking over my computer and downloading whatever it is they want to download onto MY HARDWARE.

It doesn’t take a genius to see that eventually something will come through the automatic Microsoft Download system, maybe generated by MS or maybe by someone else, that literally BRICKS almost every Window 11 computer out there.

AND NOW for the kicker … MS now wants to “screen save” what is on your screen every 2 to 3 seconds and SAVE IT.

Sure they say it will be saved “locally” but once it is saved it will definitely be subject to being hacked, either “legally” by MS, or some police agency wanting to go through your life, or illegally by some enterprising hacker. (and do NOT believe when they say YOU will have control as to if that option is “ON” or “OFF”, the history of MS is that if they can get more data on you they WILL turn it “ON”)

I am coming to absolutely HATE MS, but unfortunately I HATE Apple too … and some of my office software will only run under the MS operating system and will NOT run under any other system. Sheesh.

      • I suggest you download and burn a Debian or Ubuntu LINUX disc (to either a DVD or a thumbdrive.) A lot of people here favor “Mint,” which is a very easy-to-use flavor of Ubuntu. This creates what the geeks call a “Live Disc.” It is a full-featured installation disc, but it will also run completely from the disc you burned, without touching your hard drive or any of the files that’re on it. By booting your computer to, and running from the Live Disc, you can see whether your Windows programs will run through a LINUX emulator (the vast majority will.) An “emulator” is a translator, which translates windows programs so they will run on other operating systems.

If you decide to try this, you can ask here, or ask at the support site for whichever *NIX “distribution” you chose. Virtually all distributions (“distros”) of LINUX are free, and enthusiastically supported by the people who use them. LINUX tends to be much faster and more trouble-free than any Microsoft product, and also much more robust. It is also much “freer,” in that you are not forced into a specific way of doing things or of software you must run.

If this sounds like “too much.” grab an old computer and try it with that. LINUX doesn’t care whether you are running a Xeon, a Ryzen, or a 30yo 486, and the software you run under a *NIX operating system doesn’t care either.

  7. “We also notice people like AOC says many who want Joe Biden off ticket also want to remove Kamala. ”

Never forget, Soros created All Out Crazy, and will own her forever. She does not Tok her Tics, EVER, without a script from Alex…

    • Is there anyone else except I who finds All Out Crazy
sexy looking ( in a certain way ) that account for her political success ?

      • It’s like looking at a room full of people, finding one attractive looking, so you strike up a conversation. Only to find it reveals the most vile sociopath mind you can image. Suddenly, ‘looks’ don’t count anymore and you cannot get away fast enough,
Beauty is more than superficial. I tend to admire persons for their minds, rather than looks.

Knowing the ‘mind’ of AOC (or lack thereof) already, I am repulsed by her looks.

  8. Blaming companies for providing cheap goods is like blaming companies for people being fat. Companies (at least in most free economies) provide goods and services, and people decide on the merits of value to partake. Don’t want a “disposable” widget, buy one from a craftsman that is sturdy and can be repaired, yes it will likely cost 5x as a mass provided good. You post all the time about you looking for Amazon deals, instead of buying the highest quality available. Are you buying the 500$ big screen with the idea, of making sure it is reliable and can be easily repaired? If not, why not? Do you speak from both sides of your mouth? Don’t blame companies for the choices we as free people make every day. It just adds more ammunition that we are just to stupid to manage ourselves and we need oversight so we make the “right” decisions.

    • That’s why I chose as my acronym “choices”
most of life is determined by them choices ;-).

    • Companies don’t have to redesign their product every year, like the car companies. There was no good reason to replace the Ford Econoline series with some new van in 2016! Same with Dodge in 1994 on their truck. Keep your best design and upgrade it if needed with little tweaks. Much less re-engineering, and much less troubleshooting of new designs. There’s almost never a reason to have separate parts breakouts per year, and often down to a serial number break. I’ve had a policy of buying more than one of a used car, sometimes just picking up a junker for the parts. I can always strip it and sell it to the scrapyard once it’s done its service. In many cases, that strategy won’t work, but sometimes it does and I’ve gotten my money’s worth along the way. There’s another cost – whoever has to repair a make and model of car has to learn it thoroughly in order to find obscure problems, so many otherwise servicable vehicles get scrapped. This philosophy extends to most products – the ones that are on the bleeding edge of design have an excuse(like SSD’s in computers), but most products don’t change their principle of operation very often. Most people figure a lifespan to be 100 years even though many people don’t make it, so a 100 year lifespan for non-consumable products makes logical sense, though not marketing sense. I don’t plan to buy another vehicle in this lifetime, though I might take a flyer on some used and broken thing. I’ve already got too much stuff to work on.

I do think that any legitimate government would pass “Right to Repair” and make info and software available as part of the product. Locking software and firmware to a serial number of a vehicle has to go – it’s restraint of trade! Software, firmware, and similar copyrights need to be limited to allow repair by non-factory people including the owner, and that info needs to be available on a website or other near-free server. We do have enthusiast groups that research this stuff, but it’s terribly inefficient and the data can disappear without warning.

      • You would not believe my amazement, working on an MGA in the early ’70s, when I discovered you could disassemble the turn signal switch, and replace the wear bits. I showed it to my Dad and asked him about it. His reply: “If you look at a family in any country in Europe, you’ll see if they have a car at all, they’ll have one, and it will probably not be new. Europeans typically save their money and purchase one car, which they will own and drive for 30 years or more. Over here, Mercedes is a fancy, and expensive car, but there are lots of Mercedes models that’re as cheap, and as common as Chevrolets, and only sold in Europe. It is cars like these you see in farmers’ driveways. Every single part is repairable or replaceable, and every shop has spare parts.

MG was known for building one car, then not changing the design for 30 years. The MG you’re working on is the same car as the MG that was sold before WW-II. They changed the body, but only upgraded the parts when real improvements came along.”

He was actually right. There aren’t many differences between the MGTA (1937) and the MGB (1980), nor the Austin, Morris, Wolseley, or even Riley. The electrical and mechanical bits all interchange, as do a lot of the fitment parts — pretty much everything above the frame.

  9. “Second Shooter? While we await bureaucratic BS and butt-covering out of Secret Service, did you see Can anyone explain this? Second shooter ready to kill Trump?”

Really? So, some dude was hanging, virtually straight up, on the side of a water tower, and attempting a nearly 600 meter shot while, in essence, standing…? AND someone, fortuitously, had a camera trained on that water tower during an event viewed live by an audience of 30,000+ and a television audience of several million — yet someone found the water tower more-interesting than Trump or the crowd?

I’ve never been a sniper, so why don’t y’all ask d’Lynn if he’s ever made a standing 600m score. In fact, ask him if he ever took a standing shot like that whilst he was in sniper school. When you do, you should ask him “Why not?”

    It’s a fake…

    • While we agree that it’s likely fake, a 600-meter shot is a good one, but not anywhere near the record books.
One of my, um, acquaintances teaches the Barrett 50 and it’s a fine art. There is, he assured me, A “pretty good” shot over a mile (6,000 feet – 1,830 meters) and what made this particular shot so good was it was of an alligator in a lake while swimming. Had to be the perfect shot to get the gator and not go ricocheting all to hell and gon.
In Texas, long (like very, very) long shots are a kind of point of local honor. To warm up for really long work, you’ll want to head up to Frankston, TX and visit 5H Shooting Sports. https://5hshootingsports.com/1000-yard-rifle-range/#
Before they will let you aim out 3000 feet, though, you’re going to have to convince the rangemaster you’re not a flake. I will grant you 1,970 feet is a damn fine standing shot, though. Cheek welding helps. Pointers here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B7T5sf6Um40 if your idea of a gun in triple taps at 5-feet.

      • Yep, but shots beyond about 250yds are always made prone, or off a bi- or tripod. On what part of a vertical surface is a sniper gonna stick a bipod?

BTW, where are the trees, and is that really even the same tower, in both photos…?

    • I agree – it’s a fake. As much as I practice., I couldn’t do that., blink too hard and the tip of that barrel is gonna vibrate. That would be right between – not to damn likely & improbable. 600 prone? Very doable., with a little training and a lot of practice. Hitting a socker ball at 600 yards is not all that easy if you have no training and or practice.

    • I don’t know if it’s a fake or not, but the distance is 266 yds from the water tower to the stage, and there is a walkway with a rail around the middle of the tank. So IF someone wanted to climb the water tower, he’d have a steady rest for his rifle on the rail. Of course after climbing the tower he might have a heart attack before he could do anything else.
I had been wondering why SS didn’t have at least a spotter on that tower. He’d have a great view of the whole area except where trees obscure the view.

  10. re: “Big Lie”
    feat: Royal Troon

    Folks,

Clearly the stars have not aligned this week for the big lie Tiger Woods wished for at bereft of trees Royal Troon, South Ayrshire. The golfing legend, a 2019 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Trump, noted a loss of sleep on his flight over from Florida following the attempt on the President’s life.

Scotland’s Royal Troon golf course is forever linked to England’s Glorious Revolution of 1688 and the overthrow of the Scottish House of Stewart. The course’s early benefactor and holder of revolutionary reward landholdings was His Grace William Cavendish-Bentinck, 7th Duke of Portland. Tomorrow would be the birthday of his direct ancestor the 1st Earl of Portland formerly known as Hans Willem Bentinck from Diepenheim, Dutch Republic.

As an aside, the present theoretical claimant to a restoration of the Stewarts is the anti-nazi catholic Duke Franz of Bavaria sometimes resident at Nymphenburg Palace, Munich. Interestingly his father’s given name of Albrecht is the maiden surname of the president of the European Commission, Ursula Van der Leyen.

One of the 100 year toaster pop-ups courtesy of the 7th Duke of Portland is from his 1937 memoirs, “Men, Women, and Things”. The Archduke Franz Ferdinard visited for a week in 1913 at the Duke’s estate, Welbeck Abbey. The Abbey dates to 1140 and was dedicated to the Apostle James. Wikipedia offers an excerpt of a hunt on the estate gone awry:

“One of the loaders fell down. This caused both barrels of the gun he was carrying to be discharged, the shot passing within a few feet of the archduke and myself. I have often wondered whether the Great War would have been averted, or at least postponed, had the archduke met his death there and not at Sarajevo the following year.”

    • Yo Jester –

How about High Tea in Bangkok ?

      https://youtu.be/tBu-ewMRhkA?si=2jyENfIFSI22OCIY

And what a night it was ! Oh baby do luv that name, Bangkok!

..so there they were, 6 Vietnamese (of which 2 were US nationals) sitting in hotel room (last week) ordering up Room Service.
We are talking SWANKY Digs here..The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok..right down same street as CIA and US Embassey are situated on.
Security camera recorded Female answer door to receive RoomService, which included 2 thermoses of Tea.
Our 6 mysterious Vietnamese (Children of “chosen” immigrants (Cali)) all took their Tea at same time..around 2:30 in afternoon. Needless to say, none of them ever left that hotel room again (alive & breathing).

Turns out somehow the Tea they all drank was laced with Cyanide. They all died of Cyanide poisoning.

Where do you get Cyanide ? Well I used to get small/tiny amounts in Kill Jars when I was big time into Moths and Bug Collecting back in my sleep over Camp days(70’s).. really does smell like almonds. • BCN,

Thank you for your fascinating account. Please make yourself comfortable on the couch and we can discuss these matters further. First though, would you care for a cup of tea?

A year ago by coinkydoink the Thai authorities charged the spouse of a senior police official with the murders of at least nine victims whom the accused was indebted to. She allegedly poisoned them with tea and tincture of cyanide.

The BBC and other media picked up the Thai police crime scene diagram in room 502 from this week’s event. Our kids might have clearer recollections that room 502 is Mario’s room on the 5th floor RIP Suites of the Last Resort. Apparently the venue in the Luigi’s Mansion 3 game is run by ghosts.

The site of the present-day hotel witnessing the tragedy appears to hold a history of ill karma. It was apparently a pillory for criminal elements in distant days past. The adjacent temple and hotel name itself “Erawan”, the multi-headed Bhuddist/Hindu elephant deity, is advertised as warding off negative spirits. Some suggest that it’s a favorable link between the earthly and celestial realms. Others appear to identify Erawan the elephant as carrying Indra, the god of thunder and war.

      • I do recall that cyanide was used to kill off underground critters(gophers, perhaps). I’m not sure if the products are still available to exterminators. Getting an exterminator license is or was trivial in many states.

  11. (“there seems to be resource depletion. But the real BIG underlying problem is?
The World is awash in shitty goods. We could cut carbon by 60 percent if all goods would just last 10-years, or longer.”)

its the business model.. we shipped our manufacturing outside the usa.. sold our ports and toll roads..we have sold off huge sections of prime farmland and industry..
we hand off coin for other economies.. but neglect our own..
the dishwasher I bought that was made in another country.. the cost in their currency is less than what we pay for minimum wage..its more profitable for them to just hand mea new unit every two years than to make a unit that is dependable.. consider that .99 cent Cup brush you just bought.. made in china..or that package of cookies baked in mexico..the head of lettuce or bowl of cerial..the baby formula.. the can of apricots or oranges..we outsourced everything to promote profits for a few at the top.. made our industrial cities look like war torn cities.. sent our economy to another country and hand off all or money to somebody else so they can benefit and neglect the needs of our own citizens..
    the throw away society..
did you know that fifty thousand two litter injection mold plugs costs less than a hundred dollars from china..plus shipping.. the same with the aluminum cans for drinks..
its the profit.. but consider the consequences of the business model and the dumbing down of our youth..
the last report I read gave a five to ten year retool… that was when we still had people that could train the retooling..
we are the throw away country.. our greed, dependence and arrogance is our destruction..
Bric’s with the Saudi’s pulling the backing of the dollar and other fiat currencies will in time destroy the fiat currencies.. you can see that with how much the Zimbabwe currency has been strengthened in just the last twelve months..
opening the borders to potential enemy soldiers and moving our military out to points all around the globe. using our strategic reserves to threatening low volumes and tossing America to the wolves..I fear for how the demons pushing this agenda will destroy the country.. while it totally appears as if our political leaders are using the plan laid out in Adolph Hitler’s second book its also obvious that other countries tries are using the same playbook plan against our political leaders..and our country.. along with them openly saying their plans..did they tell us their goals and plans as a warning or did they figure our arrogance would just have them ignore their goals.

  12. (“a 3 percent interest rate means collecting $1 trillion a year in taxes. What’s worse? We have only 160-million people working in America. Each of us with jobs has to pay $6,562 per year in taxes just to hold the debt from ballooning further.”)

that doesn’t take into account the money to give out for the illegals being allowed and supported by this administration..
    the Cloward Piven strategy..
what would it be to hand out one, two or three thousand a month in income handed to ten, twenty , thirty million refugees per month.. not counting the medical dental housing utilities etc.
I had someone tell me that they were given a check for seven grand for coming to this country..it gets uglier as you contemplate the situation.. and they don’t pay taxes..

  13. Folks,

The UK government has updated its website with an image of PM Sir Starmer greeting his first foreign dignitary at #10, President Zelenskyy. The latter is portrayed clad in a solid royal navy golf shirt. Perhaps the pair discussed bunker avoidance tips guided by the British Open. Officially however the PM apparently complimented “the Ukraine on decimating the Russian fleet” (in the Black Sea). The PM looks forward to future opportunities with the “Maritime Capability Coalition”. The following UK government press release of the meeting offers a link to a Ukrainian translation for those so inclined.

The official schedule for the American head of state remains unchanged from yesterday. There are no official events scheduled at the Rehoboth Beach House.

    Enjoy a great weekend everyone!

    • yo G enius – that dog dont hunt.

you needz to get Yoself a real Lightbulb.

Now heat up the metal end hot enough to twist that metal cap off of the glass neck/tube of Bulb.
Careful pulling the tiny the wires out of bulb, you need them intact.

Now take a tablespoon of liquid dishwashing soap and 2 tablespoons of Gasoline, carefully pour into bulb. Now cover inside metal treads in epoxy glue, and place over top of bulb. Set aside – metal end up and let set for several hours.
Once sealed and dry, insure power to socket is OFF, now screw that badboy back into Light socket, making sure again that POWER IS OFF – before screwing back in. There must Air/Space tween intact tiny wires and liquid in bulb, if there no air gap, reduce amount of FLAMABLE liquid – Gotz to have Air for ignition.

  14. You forgot to mention that too many people are flushing savings into dark capital pools ( like crypto) and AI farm monstrosities. At least you can plant tulips, and they are pretty. Can you site one reference which thinks that cryptos or AI will improve the general public welfare (which wasn’t AI generated)? Too many people are doing all the wrong things, G____- Anything to make a buck. Product obsolescence is a piece of that action, I acknowledge.
Do get into town more often. You may not recognize it.

  15. George,
July 19, 2024 represented about 630 days of 3 month minus 10 year US debt yield inversion. The last time a short-long US debt yield inversion lasted this long was in 1929 ( 600 days). The Fed , in order to combat consumer inflation – brought about by #45 and #46’s ,4.2 trillion and 1.5 trillion, 2020, and 2021 respective budget deficits … https://www.thebalancemoney.com/us-deficit-by-year-3306306 – really tightened monetary policy for the US, and hence, for the global asset-debt macroeconomic system. The system is now at the edge of a US 1807 November 2021 36/90/90 year x/2.5x/2.5x fractal valuation peak – which still exceeds the inflation adjusted July 2024 global blow-off valuation peaking 12-16 July 2024.

    Expected the unexpected …

  16. Crowdstrike??? now where have I heard of them before?

    • obD – you see noodles Nuland quotes from interview last week ?

      Nein ?

Hear let me help a brother from another Mother out..https://www.theinteldrop.org/2024/07/19/nuland-three-days-before-assassination-attempt-on-trump-putin-is-in-for-an-unpleasant-surprise/

Now the above taken with dash of Trump Media short positions put on by the darth cheney &li evil (georgie) affiliated firm leads to believe tRump almost got “neoconned”. This happening in a PA town that was hosting a National Snipers Competition on the same weekend – what are the odds ?

Wonder what the paybackS are gonna look like? I know from growing up in midst of East Coast Mafia turf wars in 70’s& 80’s tween NYC and Philly families, there will be Retaliation.

      That was an incredible INSULT.

    • “Crowdstrike??? now where have I heard of them before?
      Killary?”

We have a winner!!! I was beginning to think I was the only one who remembered.

And FWIW, BCN’s rant is also spot-on about the shorts. Someone shorted the hell out of Trump’s companies, a day before the Butler rally.

Now, IMO the tower story is fake, and the Manchurian on the roof was the only active shooter. Everything else is blather, obfuscation, and flat-out conspiracy theory without merit. I believe there are enough “interesting points” regarding Trump’s Butler County appearance to both study, and which warrant study, to not go looking for the arrow shot from an orbiting satellite or the Iranian Republican Guard soldiers in the crowd, or whatever the next wild-ass story that someone is gonna tell, is.

How ’bout we stop listening the the fan-fic flunkies and focus on the things (and the anomalies) that’re actually known, regarding the shooting? It’s a little more-boring and less-sexy, but it might actually be worthwhile.

  17. I have shot regularly (2x a month minimum) a 17hmr, 223, 308 and WW2 Mosin at anywhere from 100 to 200 yards – the range master has to approve further distances and I don’t have a 4 wheeler to haul out there. I’m no sharp shooter but I can shoot consistently into a 6 inch diameter circle at 200 and prolly 4 inch at a hundred the mosin because the barrel doesn’t float and the trigger is stiff becomes a bit more problematic but ……..

    • Across the United States the average distance that a police sniper “takes the shot” is less that 100 yards.

  20. I find it very fascinating and wee bit worrisome that a scheduled update of a well known and highly trusted security software package can cause world wide computer failures of so many diverse and different corporations and companies. – Pretty damn amazing.

  21. Dear SIr,
I have to agree with your precept of the quality of things these days. We have a small homestead in the mtns of western maine. We farm and cut and bale the 900 bales of hay we need for our cattle each year with International and john deere tractors, the rakes, tedders, balers, hay wagons, are all over 50 years old, infact two of the tractors are 80 years old. Yes there is maintenance, but Everything is robust and fixable, parts are easily sourced and we do all the work our selves. None of the modern equipment is as easily repaired, or really cost effective, nor is it as rugged. Unless of course your a large scale mono-crop farm. Why is making quality rugged stuff out of fashion? I wish everything would be built to last more than a few years. :(

  22. “Some have even suggested that Democrats – should Joe Biden be unable to effectively run – might use their political pressure to attempt an election postponement.”

It doesn’t matter. RTFM! We are not required to even hold an Election. We have this “Electoral College” thing, you see. The Electoral College (EC) is the representative of the Legislatures of the Several States. The EC meets in each States’ Legislature and through a roll call, votes the will of said Legislature, on the person whom their Legislature deems appropriate to make the incoming President.

The reason Electors’ votes are not binding to the vote of the People, is as a “check and balance.” A State’s Legislature has its final say.

The Electoral College are the collective voting bloc of the Legislatures of the Several States, not of the voting apparatus of the populations of the Several States.
