The Northern Impact Report

Ah, Earth being smacked by an asteroid – why it’s perfect dinner table fare for tomorrow.  Except, of course, that Earth could be the Turkey.

See, this problem keeps coming into focus, Lurch by lurch.

But when the timeline seems to be Biblical to Nostradamus, to linguistics, to remote viewing?  Yeah… a concern, no doubt.

Just because there’s a “history-sized window” ahead, don’t let that stop you from buying a Lotto Ticket for everyone at dinner…

This is “Magic Oval Payday” in the ChartPack, too. A splendid meeting of both gustatory and financial gluttony!

  1. Congratulations You Sly Dog- G,

Texas takes lead among US states with digital tulips and made up numbers adoption, in state treasury. What, what, what?

Imagine that Ludditer G, Ure own state adopting Bitcoinz in treasury operations, BEFORE you even recognize any Value or Utility in said crypto.

This official act of BTC adoption in Texas treasury makes you a what ?

You do pay Ure Sate Tax to Texas, No ?

Looks like there is going to be more than one kinda burd being eaten at the Ure dinner table ma^nana.

      • GU : you could vacate Texas for the great state of Michigan! A bit chill here though, blowin stink out there with 30+ mph sustained and who knows velocity in gusts (Meteos are saying 50 mph).

We have kissed temps above freezing bye-bye for the next (10) days minimum. Forecast is way wobbly, now just suggesting a dusting with 7.9″ on the weekend. Nice serious snow for the Holiday got scrubbed (for now).

Though obscured by modern vices, food, football, etc. , Thanksgiving is all about being thankful. I rise (though still sitting) to say thanks all, for the camaraderie here. Have a fine Holiday.

        Egor ~ /)/) ~~

ps – end-of-year request. Can we avoid yammering about politics until 2026? Let’s do it

        • “Forecast is way wobbly, now just suggesting a dusting with 7.9? on the weekend.”

I dunno. The Weather Channel was still forecasting your pending snowfall as being “feet” (of lake-effect) before that low moves away from Green Bay.

…and politics? Rotsa ruck. There’s too many Harris supporters, wannabee trolls, and “fussy old ladies” (likely all low “T” males) who have to complain about something or their bowels can’t function.

    • gidday mate . me favourite gobbler . have a big turkey !! i heard they accept bitcon for a fake rubber turkey . tastes terrible but you just put heaps of gravy

    • Everything can be considered currency as long as everyone believes it has value..its all made up money..the dollar pound and bitcoin are nothing more than digits on A screen.. as long as digits holds value it worth value.. Its really sad but…All currency is collective belief. Dollars, pounds, bitcoin—none of them have any true intrinsic value. They’re just symbols we agree to treat as valuable. As long as people trust the digits on a screen, the system works.. we shove these tulips in holes in the ground or on computer screens all while thinking..I am safe but when that trust fades, the value collapses and belief falters then you end up with just a bunch of numbers, just like tulip mania. Money isn’t the paper or the code… it’s the shared story behind it.Value has never lived in the object. It has always lived in the story we tell about the object. Beads were once coins. Shells were once wealth. A few blankets and strings of wampum were enough to purchase the island that became New York—not because the beads were powerful, but because the belief behind them was.Every currency in history, from gold to paper to digital code, is just a mirror reflecting our collective imagination. We point to something—metal, paper, pixels—and say, ‘Look, this is special.’ And as long as enough people nod their heads in belief its real then, it becomes money. But when belief fades, the magic dissolves. The beads become trinkets. The tulips become flowers. The digits become numbers.Currency is not the thing itself. It is the agreement. The ritual. The shared illusion that lets strangers trade, build, and trust.Every currency is a promise. Not a coin, not a bill, not a digital ledger—just a promise that tomorrow it will still mean something.

When that promise breaks, it’s never the powerful who feel it first. It’s the people who saved in good faith, who worked for wages that suddenly buy less, who trusted the story because they had no choice.History shows the pattern over and over …when trust evaporates, markets panic, prices rise, savings vanish, and ordinary lives are shaken. The collapse is always abstract at the top..they don’t exist in their lives.. even though its painfully real at the bottom tier of society. Empires don’t fall in a day, but belief does in A heartbeat..the moment the father or mother realizes that they can’t buy a gallon of milk..or they are turned away from a clinic with a sick child. And when belief goes in dispair, suffering follows—quietly at first, then all at once.Because in the end, money is not metal or paper or code. It is the fragile thread of trust that holds a society together. When that thread snaps, people fall with it.” what is it once that shared belief breaks, it’s not just markets that fall—people do. When a currency loses value, it’s always the most vulnerable who pay the price. Students take risks they never should have to. Families make impossible choices. Elders dig through trash because their savings no longer mean anything. History shows this again and again… and its not even a secret its told in classrooms all over the world taught in Scrolls and written in hieroglyphs … we always become vain and unwilling to see the issues .. because it doesn’t effect their neighborhoods… when money stops holding value, dignity becomes a luxury. That’s why trust in currency isn’t just an economic issue—it’s a human one. When the story of value collapses, suffering rises. The beads become trinkets, the digits become dust, and ordinary people are left to survive the fallout. and civilizations fall..oh its just my simple minded opinions and like my wife says the only one that cares about your stupid opinion ions is yourself..that I chase away friends because of my opinions and beliefs..

        • Saddly…that’s correct.. history shows that when economies collapse and human life is devalued, people themselves can be treated like currency. In times of desperation, exploitation rises — from trafficking to illegal organ markets — all symptoms of a society where trust, stability, and dignity have eroded and human life de-valued. When money loses meaning, the vulnerable are the first to be treated as expendable. It’s a reminder that the real measure of a civilization is how it protects its people when systems fail

  2. With the death of Pope Francis, St. Malachy is back in the news. His Prophecy of the Popes is a series of 112 short, cryptic phrases which predict the popes (along with a few antipopes), beginning with Celestine II and continuing for the next 266 popes. It was first published in 1595, though written many centuries earlier. Here’s the rub. Given the accurate description of popes up to around 1590, and lack of much accuracy thereafter, historians think the work is fraud. The Catholic Church has no official stance. The prophecy concludes with the 267th pope identified as Peter the Roman, and his election supposedly will precede the destruction of Rome. That pope, the 267th, will be the one selected in the coming weeks. Should be an interesting conclave coming our way. All of this was dealt with in great detail in THE THIRD SECRET

    • Doesn’t Pope Leo XIV have to die first, before the Conclave elects a new Pope? I haven’t seen anything in the news about him being ill or anything!

I know Nostradamus’ prophecy about the Comet and change of Pope’s, and the destruction of Rome… but Comets go both ways around the sun, inbound and outbound, if they don’t disintegrate first.

      • He was just S-elected this past year.
Why I changed handle to BCPope from BCNazi. Nazi was/is horribly wrong handle in light of ukranian diddler in chief and his legions of Azov NAZI’s.

New Pope is from Chicago, so is BCP. New Pope went to Villanowhere undergrad, so did BCP. Four you see 2 Popes is better than one!

The Irishman Malachy prolly had few too many Guiness as he was finishing up his Popes Prophecy, and slurred the last the couple picks. Last cat was supposed to be peter the roman..

        • I tried to explain to you several years ago how offensive that handle was to a large segment of the world’s population, and you just threw more rocks. I like BCM for BitCoin Megalomaniac. That gets the offendees list down to maybe just one (1), and keeps the the Islamics and atheist lefties out of your anxiety closet.

      • Dont know about that G-Pops, FFG has just released latest project, NYC 2075. All viewers hit the same targets, and these guys have 65% accuracy rate over course of published projects..65% is astounding.

Anywhos, nobody could find a skyline for NYC in 2075, it was gone. They did pick up impact, global subsidence and other issues related to something big hitting the planet. After cross referencing earlier work and impact studies, they submitted a tentative timeline with highest probability falling on year 2038.

If accurate we only got 13 more years to wait for the “devils’ hammer”. Perhaps an offshore oilrig will be a safe location, but Im leaning on Uncle Semion and Russian base in the Antartica for my bugout location..

        • Still waiting on 3I/Atlas bub.

Got there long before Clif, George, or the FFG. Got 7 books and a website starting in 2007. You should know you bought one.

You know what Rodney Danger Field use to say… “No respect.”

I like working with the real deals… Maybe you have been out of the game too long, or maybe you were never in the game, as some people here believe.

Lots of fist bumps my way lately from those guys who are the real deal and still in the fight. They know what and who the real deal is…

        • “from Quatrain III-77, we know that the last battle of World War III will topple Iran in 2038” -GA Stewart

So, is the splash in the bathtub from a Poseidon 6 big enough to shut down WWIII, or is a bigger splash required?

And will any of Ure readers be around for that ?

          Happy Thanksgiving to you all.

        • Wow Boris.. This all reminds me of the fifty?plus years I’ve spent ranting about simple, practical solutions we could have embraced long ago. Greenscaping our cities, building solar towers, and giving every homeowner a grid?tie system would have secured so much of our future energy needs. In arid regions, air?wells could be refilling aquifers with the water that’s already floating above us. And instead of relying on seven thousand trees to pull CO? from the air, we could be putting small filtration units on every streetlamp. Even our construction materials could come from hemp rather than clear?cut forests but by a more sustainable means. None of these ideas are new — they’re just the kind of common?sense stewardship we’ve ignored for decades because of the sad business model of I want more for billy big bucks pockets..

  3. “planetary defense”

Less than 1 year ago DOGE was a thing. Now planetary defense spending is the thing. Where the hell is McConnell?

“Mitch McConnell is still in the Senate, but his current term is his last, and he will retire in January 2027 ”

“Mitch McConnell’s annual salary as a U.S. Senator is $174,000.”

A vegetable gets the equivalent to 7.5 +/- SS recipients.

“The average monthly Social Security check is approximately
$1,800 to $1,900 for retired workers, with a more precise national average reported as around $1,940.”

    Welfare moms get < $1,940.

    • I think there’s a Godzilla flick and in the script a volcano awakens Mothra and Mothra flies out into space to redirect an inbound asteroid.

      I Googled it –

The Battle for Earth (1992), where Mothra is working with another monster, Battra, to divert an asteroid.

    • Didn’t Mitch have a major stroke or something..does it matter if he shows up or not during their twenty six days of work a year..I will never forget being a teenager and wanting to see The whole congress in session..busy debating and going through the bills as they went through them..went decided to sit in the balcony in anticipation of a full chambers of people.. what there was was five or six paper shuffled sat the front and a janitor leaning against his cleaning cart reading a magazine or book..a couple years ago aids to the members of congress made a gay sex video using the floor of congress as their stage..they have to be present first..

  4. That was impressively thorough. Even with stored food I wouldn’t do well. Our house had no water from 7am yesterday to 9 am this morning unexpectedly due to a local water main break. We went through gallons of our stored water and most dishes are currently dirty waiting for me to do something with them. Even though I asked for no paper in the toilet it was still stuffed with it as people forgot. The whole house stank of pee. I emptied my emergency water barrels last month because they had sat too long and haven’t filled them up yet. Jeeze, I wasn’t prepared for even a short lack of water.

    • For future reference, water that has sat too long will still flush a toilet, as will pool water, goldfish pond water, etc. Just pour directly into the bowl until the offending material vanishes down the drain.

      • As long as you are on city sewer, quality of water in the flush toilet isn’t an issue. If you have a septic system, you don’t want to contaminate with chemicals that harm the bugs.

    • We have been shutting our water off.. with just two of us.. our bill topped a couple hundred for the month..we had over ten thousand gallons in usage.. tgat tells me..we have another leak under the floor someplace.. I don’t have the money to hire someone to fix it.. seriously only twenty five bucks for the month left.. ?eed to pump a few more hours of work in..so we fill up a few containers then shut the water off figuring its a slow leak..

  5. You sure put scads of data in your last few musings. The reason I am up here within easy drive of your place was laying out threats and vectors – nuclear, Yellowstone, New Madrid, mega-hurricane and tsunami risk relative to climate, water sources and far enough from major cities so distance buffers things.

If I could only get buffering from the crazy governments….

Sorry I didn’t make my visit – I got creeping crud from son/daughterinlaw who brought t home from her pediatric work. But I am better now…!!

  6. re: northern inbound object – look at some of the alternate explanations for Carolina ‘bays’ formations.
The bays exhibit a n->se orientation and resemble impact craters. There are also similar features in the midwest that show a nne->ssw orientation. The given explanation was an impact during the ice age and the impact items were ice, which melted after impact, thus no debris to be found in the bays. Impact point resulted in Hudson Bay.
    =-=
    And some further ramblings …

I threw some of the analysis numbers into Gemini and got the following:

? #1 – Approximately how much water would be displaced with the impact of an asteroid impact 500 meters in diameter?

Result: Based on numerical modeling of a 500-meter stony asteroid impacting a 5 km deep ocean at 20km/s. The maximum transient cavity size has been modeled to reach approximately 5km in radius (dia = 10km) and about 5 km deep (reaching the seafloor) [volume would be constrained if depth LT 5km].

? #2 – What is the volume of water in a hemisphere 10000 meters wide by 5000 deep?

    Result: ~261.80 cubic km

To think on: what amount of that displaced water will be vaporized into the atmosphere? Further, given that water vapor is the strongest effector of climate/weather, what impact would it have on weather patterns and agriculture/growing seasons?

For comparison, a comp I can find would be the 2022 Hunga Tonga_Hunga eruption, which “only” pushed ~0.146 cubic km into the atmosphere. And there are a number of papers that discuss the impact it had on weather is the following years.

Just more random points to throw into the equation…systems react in interesting ways to their inputs…

    • Not big enough to be considered an E.L.E…. but dam nasty for wherever it hits and surrounding area..

    • Growing seasons would go away for the better part of 200 years as the Sun became hidden behind all that water vapor and dust. Earth would likely cool to the point it would become unlivable beyond 20 degrees of latitude and a continental or super-glacial ice pack would cover the planet beyond 30 degrees of latitude.

Most geologists and anthropologists consider an object of 340 meters in diameter (or greater), striking Earth either on land or sea, an ELE because it will kill 90% of all plant and animal life on Earth within two weeks of impact.

  7. is the impact for the asteroid the nasdaq in times square or wall and broad ?either way its a win . we had to defend all thru the week at the fort but old glory is still flying by dawns early light

  8. Kilauea erupted yesterday afternoon, for about 6 or 7 hours. As it was winding down, we had a 4.8 earthquake at 11:50pm. Just enough to shake the bed and shut off the eruption.

      • Like I said… they advertised a 15 day production/shipping delay upon ordering. It ain’t here yet! You will be the second to know when I get it. Besides, Stephen 2’s finger is getting twitchier by the day and he will soon push that ‘Buy’ button before mine arrives… bet on it!

        • Finger Twitching is getting worse, but I do have a strong constitution. Even managed a full day last week without coffee!!

(maybe being out at both home and the office had something to do with that … but I like to think it was WILL POWER!!)

      • Well I got notice that the unit has shipped from Chicago. USPS estimates delivery Dec, 13… which is a lie. From the tracking number it appears to be ‘Ground Advantage’, which means it gets to San Francisco and disappears into the black hole for about 30 days with no tracking while they fill up a container and find a slow boat to Hawaii. It will be a New Year’s present for me. If Stephen 2 is anywhere on the mainland and pushes that ‘buy’ button right now, he will certainly get his before mine arrives.

  9. Not sure if we could ‘surf’ the old girl on a thousand foot wave, but as a last gasp chance it would sure be a fun way to an exhilarating passing into the next world. It’s certainly better than the dirt alternative, at least as far as the final entertainment goes.
The last few days down under have been ones of wild super-cells, sixty knot winds, fist size hailstones, coastal carnage, power outages lasting days, and a simple acceptance by the population that it is what it is, get on with it, mate. There has been almost zero impact on our floating world as we make our own power and have plenty of victuals on board for sustenance. There is a strong community here long bred by the tough life of fishing and agriculture, and they seem to have no desire to add more cosmopolitan things to their simple place. One gas station is enough. No big stores, no stop lights, just quiet, green and clean. A mega wave would certainly be the end of it all, but it all has to end anyway, no matter how much we would like to think it will be forever.
No turkeys here today. That’s Yank stuff. We’ll call home tomorrow (our time) when the fam gathers (your time) and check in.
Don’t worry. Be happy. Get floating and surf it to the end.
    Stiks

    • Wish I could remember the details now, but I read an account of a Trimaran in the Drake passage that literally tumbled down a 100 ft rogue wave in a storm and wound up upside-down. Boat remained intact and sat EPIRB got them rescued by a container ship after a few days. Rescuers had to breach the hull to get them out. The container ship stacks were leaning precariously from the storm and the ship looked like it had been ‘chewed’.

  10. must be serious this flying rock thing for you to give it the main stage headline in peoplenomics. we will soon know the result . should be some charlatans popping up soon singing repent , confess and of course hand over some cash to get the quick trip to heaven. maybe they can even sell em some sheetcoin for spending money

    • No Sheetcoins- the script you need to pay the “ Ferryman” is more than Physical and more than Digital , it is simply the “Natural Source” described as “ The Force” in the Stars Wars trilogy.

As far as the 144 Karmic Rules/Lawsare concerned, stay true to Ureself, and youse will never have to worry about “interfering with the Dove”

      * those Bhuddist monks pictured “going rainbow” when they pass… showing off – WASTE of NRG. Why anyone would want to burn off “Vital Essence” prior to transition is way beyond my simple mind.

  11. While your prognostications about space object impact on this rock are alarming, Wm R Forstchen has just published his latest book: Five Years After
In my simple non remote viewing thoughts, the probability of an EMP attack
or another CME event is much more concerning and probable than devastation from space objects. And I certainly don’t know how to perform chaos event simulations or predictions.

    • I’m a big fan of Wm R Forstchen, and just ordered the new one. I agree with your concept that an EMP attack is a much bigger threat than a space rock. I’ve researched and published novels based on both scenarios.

    • After OSA was published and crashed the best-seller lists, Forstchen did a live chat. I participated as an observer. Somebody asked him whether he thought an EMP scenario was actually likely. His reply (as best I remember):

The likelihood of a HEMP attack in the foreseeable future by a nuclear power against the United States is probably about 1 in 6, or 16%.

The likelihood of an EMP repeat of the Carrington Event is greater than 100% because it is a cyclical, naturally-occurring solar event — and BTW we are past-due right now.

I hope I have helped you sleep better and more-comfortably… ;-)

  12. re: “Gone With the Wind”, 15/12/39
    feat: confederates of war

    Folks,
The year of 1861 had the fictional Scarlett O’Hara dancing in funeral attire at a charity event after her husband perished. Meanwhile in the real world of 1861 a powerful Charleston family saw a Confederate Officer son die.

One hundred and sixty four years later, the Canadian (peace?) envoy to Ukraine attired in a peculiar black dress more befitting the Grim Reaper met the Prime Minister of Ukraine earlier this week.

Separately a direct matrilineal descendent of a Confederate Army Officer who died in 1861 in the person of EU President Mrs. von der Leyen perhaps saw need to douse the afterglow of peace talks in Geneva. The President of the Ukraine noted he had received a call from her. Clearly he did not say to her: “Frankly Ursula, I don’t give a damn”.

No crystal ball materialized in the Ukrainian President’s evening address unlike the one before. However the tone and content left no doubt that the war is back on. A plantation-like Tara (“Star”) will come crashing down?

    • Yes, lol, while Atlanta is Burning…other ‘Starlets’ and Asteroids orbit in the atmosphere:

From an astrological perspective, Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries occurred during the Civil War period, and are also occurring now (2025)!!

‘Neptune in Aries brings rebellions. In fact, within one day of Neptune’s ingress into Aries, the American Civil War broke out.
      https://www.catherineurban.com/blog/rebel-reverence-neptune-in-aries-2025-2039

      https://www.almanac.com/uranus-gemini-2025-future-written-stars
‘The last two times Uranus was in Gemini coincided with war, including the Civil War (1861 to 1865) and World War II (1941 to 1945). Does this mean we might experience something like that? Not necessarily. However, it’s possible we could be forced to deal with ongoing disinformation campaigns via social media or technological warfare, such as cyberattacks. Uranus is the rebel planet, so the collective might be ready for revolution, which could come through unions, class consciousness, and cultural change. The status quo might fall out of favor and get the heave-ho. Considering that Pluto, the planet of transformation, is in Aquarius, a new, inclusive world may be made possible. ‘

      • re: ephemeris

        c,
I am finding Mrs. Urban’s blog, “Astrologer”, that you have linked above to be an interesting read. It appears as though she is handling Ceres as a dwarf planet in her calculations. Ceres was a Roman goddess of agriculture and fertility. As chance would have it, certain Confederate greyback issues of $10 banknotes also feature Ceres in their design.

“Google” offers a taster of Mrs. Urban’s 2019 book “Your Astrological Cookbook: the perfect recipe for every sign”. Page 118 offered a look at a pumpkin ale soup combo. However when I tried to go back to the page, “Google” shook things up and wouldn’t show me that one as a sampler anymore. As an aside, the author reminds that supposedly the moon can explain one’s food cravings.

  13. Well after reading what could happen to the CONUS I’m glad to be sitting on a mid-ocean volcano or two, with 13,000 feet of hill to climb if necessary. And living in the wet, windward farm zone we could survive if the supply ships stopped coming. Not so in the big city of Honolulu.

  14. re: Turkey Hunters open season
    feat: a Nantucket private chef

The “New York Post” and other msm inform that former First Family, the Bidens, are flocking to Cape Cod for their annual Thanksgiving repast at the estate of multi-billionaire Carlyle Group co-founder Mr. D. Rubenstein. Conditions appear so cordial that pardoned former First Son Mr. Hunter Biden has returned from his lengthy South African sojourn.

It seems like only yesterday that the Nantucket soiree host’s now ex-wife was touring about Alaska via her private aeroplane in mutual philanthropic endeavors with Ms. Ghislaine Maxwell. The latter is understood to be in line for a prison Thanksgiving menu of manufactured sliced turkey along with facsimiles of seasonal condiments served on a plastic tray. Meanwhile a newly-minted Mr. Mountbatten-Windsor is believed moving out shortly from his sprawling mansion of Royal Lodge at Windsor Park.
