Unfortunately 99% of the population lives their life in a very different place physically and mentally from you and LOOB. Many of them already believe that produce comes from the grocery store and not the farm. They live their life from moment to moment and are completely reliant on things like Tik Tok to occupy their mind and a Burger King burger to satisfy their hunger. Outside the box thinking is sadly absent or even remotely desired.

Relying on my basic accounting knowledge, when the cost of goods sold increases, the manufacturer must increase selling prices or lower profit margins. I believe tariffs fall into the increased cost scenario, and generally, manufacturers will choose to increase prices rather than reduce profits. Resellers, whether retail or wholesale, will pass on these cost increases to the consumer. As I understand it, the general terminology for this chain of events is called inflation. Can someone please explain to me how the current surge of increased tariffs will avoid a surge in inflation this time around. Or, is this truly a modern-day example of “The Emperor is wearing no clothes”?

Recipe of the day.. how many times do we make a good gravy.. we use corn or potato starch for the rhu.. what do hi end restaurants and chefs do..infuse…..
infused potato starch
5–6 large raw potatoes (russet or starchy variety)
1–2 medium garden onions (white or yellow)
2–3 green peppers (mild or spicy, depending on your preference)
Optional herbs: thyme, rosemary, oregano, parsley
Cold filtered water
Cheesecloth or fine strainer
Blender or grater
Dehydrator or oven
instructions on how to do it..
Extract Potato Starch
Peel and grate or blend raw potatoes with cold water.
Pour the mixture into a bowl lined with cheesecloth.
Squeeze out the liquid into the bowl—this contains the starch.
Let the liquid sit for 2–4 hours. The starch will settle at the bottom.
Carefully pour off the water, leaving the white starch paste.
2. Prepare Onion & Pepper Infusion
Chop onions and green peppers finely.
Sauté gently in a dry pan or roast until slightly caramelized.
Blend with a small amount of water to create a flavor slurry.
3. Combine & Infuse
Mix the onion-pepper slurry into the settled potato starch.
Add finely chopped herbs (fresh or dried).
Stir until smooth and evenly distributed.
4. Dry the Starch
Spread the mixture thinly on dehydrator trays or parchment-lined baking sheets.
Dry at 120–140°F (50–60°C) until crisp and brittle (6–12 hours).
Break into flakes and grind into powder using a spice grinder or mortar.

Living out in the country in Wisconsin, we would cruise the back roads where elderberry bushes grew in the roadside ditches. Picked buckets and buckets of them. Dad had about five big crocks in the basement for fermenting them and made elderberry wine every year. I believe that was the first alcoholic beverage I tasted, at about 3 years old. Still love it… when I can find it.
One famous TV chef once commented that if you don’t know what you are going to do… first, saute’ some onions.
Second, make a roux. By then everyone will think you know what you are doing.
I love making things.. figuring out how to do stuff… I have to retort can a bunch of hamburger and tuna.. nobody believes me when I tell them they catch a carp come and bring it home to me.. A woman I knew had two things she did that amazed me..she canned carp..it tasted just like tuna.. and she had a family secret process ..to freeze tomatoes… now tomatoes are a pretty fragile fruit.. they expand and when thawed become mushy… the process her grandmother taught her mom and her..they could be frozen and when thawed was just about like fresh.. you could slice and put them on sandwiches.. it was amazing..she swore shed teach me how..but got cancer and passed away.. that was fifty years ago and I have tried everything g to replicate the process they had.. nothing.. that’s one reason why I don’t keep any recipe a family secret.. it has to be passed on..

Roadside stands sell local produce right from the farm. Better still, roadside cooks serve up filipino foods from this available bounty. Even at the edge of the village one house puts their garden squash out on a table at their driveway with prices marked. Honor system & drop box for payment cash. Need pork? Learn how to slaughter. Wild pigs are a nuisance here and gratefully removed by those who know how.

Colorado Man Mauled After Attempting to “Join” Wyoming Wolf Pack
JACKSON, WY — A self-described “wolf furry” from Fort Collins is recovering in a Wyoming hospital after attempting to integrate himself into an actual pack of wild wolves near Togwotee Pass.
According to Wyoming Conservation Services, 28-year-old “Lupus Moonhowl” legally known as Brian Sanders was spotted crawling on all fours in full faux-fur attire, complete with a tail, plastic fangs, and a Bluetooth speaker playing recorded howls. Witnesses say Sanders approached the wolves while tossing raw hamburger meat in their direction “as a gesture of friendship.”
The wolves reportedly responded by chasing Sanders nearly 300 yards before “testing his durability” with a series of bites and swipes. A game warden on the scene described the encounter as “the fastest I’ve ever seen someone regret a lifestyle choice.”
Sanders suffered multiple puncture wounds, torn synthetic fur, and “severe emotional disillusionment.” When asked by reporters if he’d attempt to rejoin the pack after recovery, he replied, “Probably not… they didn’t seem very into the roleplay.”
Wyoming officials are reminding the public that, while wolves are fascinating animals, they do not accept cosplay applications.

He got SO CLOSE to winning the Darwin of the Year. I’m guessing the wolves were mildly irritated. If they were hungry, they’d have killed him and disemboweled his corpse before the game warden could’ve stopped them…
…and the pack leader would have eaten his liver and heart!

After meeting with the Russian Ambassador a few weeks ago, I can confirm that the Russian government has agreed to release the KGB/Russian intelligence files on Lee Harvey Oswald.
In the 90s, Congress attempted to obtain the same files and were denied.
Some of these findings were reportedly given to U.S. officials by a Russian government representative attending JFK’s 1963 funeral— but I believe they were destroyed by U.S. Intel.

Itinerant or migrant farm workers are not illegals, and they are not run in by the cartels. They come in on temporary work visas, do their jobs, and go home. Less than 3% seriously overstay or jump their visas. The illegal aliens the cartels run in are beholden to the cartels, not the U.S. or Canadian farming industry, don’t come in on a visa, and rarely (if ever) contribute to the manual labor workforce. Natty may have 200 illegals picking grapes in her vineyards, (she is alleged to have had, at one time), but zero of them came in wearing a Sinaloa wristband.
I have physically, in person, talked to some of these migratory laborers — broken bread occasionally, with some of them for years, because they try to “get the same routes” year after year. We’ve palavered, not just about them, but gossiped about others, both farm workers and mules. “Pedro” may live on a piece of dirt in Oaxaca and have a 4th grade education, but he’s disadvantaged, not stupid, nor is he blind, deaf, or dumb. I trust these folks a lot more than any report, gov’t or otherwise, to clue me in on the actual truth. THEY have no reason to lie or motivation for doing so…
