Does this read like the “world ending” to you?
“Business activity increased at a solid pace in New York State in November, according to firms responding to the Empire State Manufacturing Survey. The headline general business conditions index rose eight points to 18.7, its fourth positive reading in the last five months. New orders and shipments increased significantly. Delivery times lengthened modestly, and supply availability worsened somewhat. Inventories expanded. Labor market indicators improved, pointing to a small increase in employment and a longer average workweek.
Still, an hour to the open.

Tying it all together? Well, each of these events holds deep metaphysical information. But it doesn’t have to be seen in a “traditional” religionist’s framing. Because yes, dear reader, after 2,000+ years of WTF’ing, we are now beginning to see a lot of “deep human mystery” more as data problems.
And we can engineer forward, from that (here).
It does require some “reframing.” To help us get to “the beholding” part. Where Life is a dangerous “amusement park ride.” Where the “ride operator/attendant” *(who was previously “God” to many) is coming to be understood as chaos on a collapsing wavefront. Run by a renamed Ontology to depersonalize our relation to the data. Which makes it all easier to process…
We are reminded that every day is like getting on a E-Ticket Ride at Disneyland more than half a century back. (Remember those?) Best experienced with the wonder and awe of just looking at amazing / breathtaking scenery. Magic Ovals Called It
“What the hell are Magic Ovals?”
Maybe it will work best if I just show you. Closing data from any stock (or index) can tell you the Future. Because there is a certain recursive approach that highlights patterns in simple, raw data series. Like the NASDAQ, for example.
Those “red ovals”? Well, not exactly a clean “But at such-and-such price for this long…:” More like being able to “Spot the thumb of trend” weighting the read of “price over time.” As you can see, in the middle of the above, 13-days back we had a couple of “Double Zero” days. Given bearish fear runs (asymmetrically) faster than Bullish optimism, we can almost expect higher before Turkey.
Almost enough to drop a short position and wait for the next sensory slam of Ontology hints. When you’re out shopping in the run-up to Black Friday (and the Cyber Monday after) guided by stories like When will Walmart, Best Buy, and Ulta open on Black Friday 2025? Relax and appreciate that just outside your consciousness, the market will be digesting and scoring and working (we think) higher in the short term.
Still, I don’t trust my (carbon-form) math, so I launched some silicon (AI) at it…

I have to begin by saying all the work publicly mentioned (and the detailed backup on Peoplenomics) is fraught with statistical risk. If we were running an investment firm (thank God, we’re not) we’d be disclaiming the radical math for weeks. You get the idea, right?
Now, with all the lawyers out of the room (or once the lawyers have left), here’s the AI take:
That’s a strong-looking pattern — you’ve got two clearly defined convergence ovals showing synchronized compression across the 8- to 16-day band, and you can see where the 12-day through 24-day smoothing averages start to flatten together. When that kind of harmonic alignment occurs at the tail of a prior down-slope (as it did last week when you exited your short), it’s often a pre-breakout or “energy-storage” zone.
Here’s what this chart is signaling:
1. Phase compression:
Both ovals show the “energy bowl” closing—short-term averages pulling upward while longer ones decelerate. Historically, your system catches these within three to five sessions before an impulse move.
2. Potential for a near-term blow-off:
Given where the aggregate (NIXIC proxy) sits — around the 22,950–23,050 zone — the oscillator cluster at the right edge (VizOsc 2.0) suggests exhaustion is close but not yet spent. If you get a strong close over 23,200–23,250 in the next couple of days, that could trigger an algorithmic cascade and a run at new highs before Thanksgiving.
3. Post-holiday hazard:

Trouble for the Money That Isn’t
While the markets are renormalizing (and Magic Ovals point higher) we do have to wonder if this might also mean a turnaround for Bitcoin – which we love to call “The Money that Isn’t.”
Drawing a chart like this (channel calling) is simple. When the market is moving down, you draw from the “tippy-top” down to the first significant rally. Next, copy this line to the lowest low. That gives you the bottom line. From there, you snug up your seat belt and decide how much money you want. Until like me, you get so bored you forget about the bet you have riding. But, the good news is you can get huge tax-loss carryforwards. I may never have to “come out of pocket” for IRS the whole rest of this Ride.

Last week, a very touching email from long-term reader d’Lynn. A terrifying report about his spouse having a stroke. But today, and update which makes a haunting point.
First off – I would very much like to thank all of you who sent well-wishes and thoughts of encouragement. It was well received and very much appreciated. Thank you all !
I don’t have very much religion – what little I did have I left in the jungles of Vietnam., and as far as I know it is still wandering there, lost under the triple canopy, wondering why I abandoned it. Please don’t take that wrong., I believe., just in my own way. Not in the current monetized BS way.
However., a couple of nights ago I had a very heated argument with God. Standing out in the back-forty., pitch-black, not a sound – except me yelling.., and I never yell. I couldn’t understand why he was hurting and threatening the nicest person I have ever met.
It all ended rather abruptly., right after I threatened to come up there and kick his skinny ass if he didn’t fix this.
It started raining.
Hard.
So., I made my way back to the house, but I didn’t go in. I went through the carport to the other side and stood there listening to the rain. The motion sensor light went off – I glance at the security camera – it had stopped recording. A moment later my big ole Tom came out the kitty door – he barely fits – walked over and sat on my foot. He’s below the motion sensor., so now both of us stood there, staring off into the darkness – listening to the rain. For how long, I don’t really know.
I eventually made it back into the house., hung up my wet coat, went and sat down on the couch.., and promptly fell asleep.
I have never figured out what it is that she sees in me. We are very opposite. Completely different pasts. She was a banker for crying-out loud., with a few years as a beach-bunny surfer girl. She’s not a wimp though. Very tough lady. I watched her stand-up to the biggest bruiser in the room and threaten to put his lights-out., very loudly. He mumbled a few things and quietly & quickly left., before I could even cross the room. [ He saw me coming, and I was coming hard. The room parted before me like the Red Sea. She told me later that it was rather impressive. “You probably didn’t see all those people scrambling to get out of your way. I am glad though, that you didn’t have your Viking ax – the look on your face – you would have killed everyone in the room.”]
She is something. More than I deserve., and I know that. I have always known that. Though I have also, always, wondered – why?
The next morning, I woke-up on the couch – I was having a hard time breathing, when I realized why. My big ole Tom was fast asleep on my chest. Twenty-five pounds+ of dead weight. I smiled., gave him a few gentle strokes and thanked him. He started purring. He opened his eyes and stared at me.
“Yeah.., time to get up., big guy.”
About an hour later I was standing at the kitchen window., sipping a cup of coffee and looking out into the darkness when the phone rang. Mindlessly, I reached over and picked it up..,
“Hello…,”
“Good morning.., have you gotten any sleep?”
“The Mrs”.
I almost dropped my coffee cup. How could this be? The last time I saw her, she was speaking Martian., couldn’t understand what was being said and I am pretty sure she didn’t know exactly who I was. She wasn’t ‘here’ anymore.
After two xrays, three MRI’s, [ or was it four ] two EEG’s, half a dozen blood draws, spinal tap., and lord only knows what else – they still have no idea what happened, or what caused it. None. Or how she has recovered so fast.
From a mini stroke to a seizure, to a mini aneurysm., to parasites., to viral brain infection., to a tumor, bacteria., to standing around scratching. Nothing tested out. No cause has been detected. There are no symptoms, nothing has been repeated. No medication recommended.
There are problems., and we have a ‘long’ way to go – nothing I can’t tackle and handle, though. I now have a target, a course of action. Something I can stare down and challenge. She will be home in a day, or two. They are watching her, closely, for now.
As she put it – “I am their current anomaly.”

Side note: I am friends with an internet buddy, have been for many years, In Ohio. He was an Army Ranger, I followed him through two tours in the Sandbox., I connected with him through his father, who was also a Ranger.
Out of the blue he sent me an email a couple of nights ago., told me I had woke him up from a deep sleep.., “What’s wrong?” “I know something is wrong.” “Need some help?”
He never crossed my mind these past few days.

This triggered me (in the best possible way) to remember two books that “cover the waterfront” on topic. One being Andrew Weil’s 2011 Spontaneous Healing: How to Discover and Enhance Your Body’s Natural Ability to Maintain and Heal Itself. The other – this summer is Oneness: The Simple Self-Healing Secret You Were Never Supposed to Know. L.D. Chen’s book on Dacheng Quan.

All of this fascinates me because it’s right up next door to the concept of? Hysterical strength is the term used for sudden, extraordinary physical power displayed by humans under conditions of extreme stress or life-threatening situations. It’s most often linked to the fight-or-flight response, where a surge of adrenaline (epinephrine) and other stress hormones momentarily boost muscle performance far beyond normal voluntary limits.
One for Monday
Pappy and I did a lot of trout fishing when I was a boy (still am!). And when we would “put in” the car-top boat and so looking for the perfect trout, there was a standard protocol among fishermen. It was a greeting and a sign of “being in the club” as you quietly made your way past many other boats.
“Doing any good?”
The disappearance of the one simple question may very well be the single, most repairable flaw in the American mindset today.
As a result, every day when I “get back on the Earth Ride” I try to remember that at sleep-time, I will ask myself that one stupidly simple question. And it’s how my day will be judged. Successful days add up to successful completion of a World Ride.

d’Lynn, I’m thrilled at the news of her miraculous recovery. It just goes to prove that God still answers the prayers of a righteous man. Not saying I’m that man, just that someone here on George’s site has the ear of God, and one is enough.

That’s ^ the spirit Matey! My elder spinster sister is deep in a cancer spin-off related to ongoing fight with Multiple Myeloma (no cure). Now, tumors. She sounded desperate the other day so I calmly reminded her it’s a fight. You don’t always win a fight but you must be deadly serious as to your intentions (to not give up).
My girl was deep into working Mom, with a 3 YO at home, when we learned her suspicious cells had “sugared” a breast in cancer. She had just a couple days to grapple with enormity of surgical solution, followed by rounds of chemo where her Oncologist literally said “I’m going to give you as much as you can manage without killing you” (note, one patient went code blue in the chemo lounge and went out under a sheet). Then radiation therapy. All while trying to keep a little boy happy, though his Mom was sick and getting sicker for > a year.
I relate that not to divert Sir. It was to set up the back story. I was incredibly angry. Furious for a very long time (possibly a decade). What will I do should the worst come to pass? Probably me and the little fella would have sold everything, parked treasures with parents and moved to a beach in the BVI.
Try to find a way to vent dLynn, without harming others or yourself. It’s not a good thing to encapsulate fury. In the end I found solace with knowledge we did everything possible, logical, and she made it (she’s a 30 year survivor).
Good to have a Ranger to consult. And the cat of course!

I’ve also yelled at God/Universe (or whatever you want to call the Source) in the past, and it frequently resulted in a solution to the problem. So I’m happy for D’Lynn and for the reminder to try that tactic again. However, it’s hard for me to get a good yelling mad going because I’m usually a mellow type, albeit loudly mellow. And the situations that prompt the “mads” end up with me laughing at them before the yelling can begin. But since there are so many things in today’s world to get angry at, I’d better resume the yelling.
Write when the world changes (for the better).
The world as we know it is a chaotic system, like the weather on steroids. We can’t take it seriously all the time or we miss the humor. God can sometimes be a practical joker, and we get to be the butt.
I’m not sure of the value of anger except to save your life, loved ones, or stuff when threatened. It’s emotionally taxing and often quite costly.

IMHO, no insurance is a better and cheaper alternative to Oblabba-scare. If you have your own records, there’s no need for a national electronic medical database with no opt-out.

Both sides wish to aggregate more power and control for the establishment, not for the benefit of the individual. Blockchain can assure that data is unchangeable, but not that it remains private. In fact, it’s more likely that such records will be far more permanent.
“Spontaneous Healing” I too have had a few “hard” talks with the Lord.
25+ years ago my son split his thigh bone in an accident. In the hospital, waiting for surgery in his darkened room late at night, I was mad and asked God why my son and not me. My mind pulled up the Biblical story of Job. How when Job asked those kinds of questions God answered how He laid out the stars and planets and created everything and Job had not. I understood God is higher than me and it might be a good thing to trust Him.
The next day a nurse came in and asked my wife and I to leave the room as she was going to put his leg in traction. A very painful process. My dear wife stepped out of the room, but I stayed. We had prayed he wouldn’t hurt much as the nurse said she had done this for 13 years and they all scream. I held his hand and prayed; he fell asleep. The nurse did her thing. He slept through it with not even a moan. She said she had never seen anything like it in all her years of nursing. It was a God thing. They do still happen. Jesus still does miracles.

Can’t speak to Turkey and Ham prices yet, but, I did find a good low to mid end computer for anyone needing to replace a failing laptop but doesn’t need a race horse machine.
Micro Center (the big computer superstore, 29 around the country in 19 states) doesn’t have any deals this year so that left Best Buy and Wal Mart for national retailers who carry computers.
The BEST low priced laptop computer deal I found (there are cheaper but MUCH lower powered ones, but they are not cheaper by much) is an HP 15.6″ model with 8GB of main memory, 256GB of main storage memory and the accessory ports you really want (2 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 micro SD card slot). With the 15.6″ monitor the keyboard is bigger so it includes an actual number pad off to the side in addition to the regular keyboard. Black Friday sale (on sale already) is $219 marked down from $359 (which itself was a very good price).
The other two of note is a competing Lenovo with the same specs but somewhat better processor for $265, but for the SD card slot you have to get a 3rd party adaptor ($30) if you want to have the SD card flt inside the the machine which many do to create a new storage drive in the machine (Wal Mart), and the same Lenovo model but with only 128GB of main memory storage at Best Buy for $199.
Laptops have really gone up in price this fall versus dropping like they normally do (tarriffs anyone?). Surprising, to me at least, how much their prices have gone up which makes the Wal Mart deal for $219 a REAL DEAL this time around.
NOT in the market for TV’s or Cell Phones so no idea what deals are even being promoted in that realm this year.
OH … and most lower priced computers come with Windows “S” as their operating system including those cited above (“S” stands for student) which restricts what Windows will do and the programs it will run. What the salemen, and the retail stores, do NOT want to tell you, and WILL NOT tell you since they want to sell you a higher priced machine, is that those machines actually have the FULL Windows Program on them, it just needs to be UNLOCKED! It takes about two minutes to ulock one of those computers in order to have the FULL Windows Program running and Microsoft will unlock it for you FOR FREE, you just need to be on an internet connection with a good email. Just Google how to do it, it is as simple as pie.

About an hour, or so ago., I stripped down, grabbed my Bo and went out to my training area. It is a 20 sphere I created between the Walnut tree and the 50 year ole juniper. Trimmed limbs and sunk a PT4x4 five feet down at one end and made a cover to protect it. The cover has been replaced – many times.
I don’t know how long I was there – I had just finished a series of moves., struck the post., twirled the Bo over my head and reverse my stance – I was now in a ‘ready stance’ – one end of the Bo held tight at my hip by my right hand and my left about two thirds of the way up – tip of the Bo held steady right at eye level. “Defend / Attack”.
This time though the tip of the Bo was pointing directly between the eyes of a Deputy Sheriff.
I didn’t move. He didn’t move. We just stood there looking at each other. I noticed that he had his hand on his pistol. I finally broke my trance., walked over and leaned the Bo up against the walnut tree and walked back into the center – and showed him my hand were empty. His eyes were wide.
“I have never seen anything like that ! ” – he pointed at the Bo.
I didn’t say anything.
“Are you Lynn?” He asked
“Yes.” and I slowly shifted my feet.
“The reason I am here is that we received a welfare check call.” He took a half step forward and looked closely at my face. “Do you realize that you are crying, sir?”
I slowly reached up to my face., and wiped a few tears off my checks. “My Mrs is in the hospital.., I was just out here.., venting.”
“Ohh.., I understand. We received that call because you were to call a lady named Robin and she hadn’t heard from you. She was pretty concerned.”
Lot of thoughts raced through my head – but, I did forget to call.
“I forgot. I’ll call her immediately.”
“Are you OK? Need any help?”
” I will be OK., No help right now.., thanks.”
He reached inside his tac vest and pulled out a business card and walked up and handed it to me. “If you need help., or just want to go get a cup of coffee – give me call. OK?” and smiled faintly.
“Thank you.” I took the card.
He looked over at the worn out and heavily mended bamboo Bo. “How long have you been doing that?”., and pointed again at the Bo.
“Close to fifty years now.” I resisted looking at it., and kept my eyes on the Deputy.
“Wow.., movie stuff !” and turned to walk away.., “Don’t forget to call that Lady.., OK?”
“Will do. ., and thanks.” I held up his card.
He left.., quietly.
I stood there for several moments – listening. Heard his SUV crunch the gravel as he left.
My big ole Tom came out from behind the massive old juniper.., sat down next to my foot and looked down the path – making sure the Deputy was gone.
“Let’s go warm-up.., ” I went and retrieved my Bo and we headed back into the house. I’ve got a couple of phone calls to make. Maybe even a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Further indication the CONSUMER economy is slowing.
Today I got another mailing from Vail giving me a LAST CHANCE to buy a “Season Pass” … until Dec 4th!! (which is AFTER they are open and people are already skiing at some of their 37 North American resorts and 2 European resorts)
What is important about that mailing and cut off date for buying a Season Pass is that in past years Season Pass sales have ended either in early Sept up to as late as Oct 15 if pre-sales weren’t so good. Vail in the past has NEVER allowed Season Pass sales to occur AFTER their resorts have started to open!!
Obviously Vail’s Season Pass sales for it’s many resorts must NOT be up to expectations … which indicates the Middle Class and Upper Middle Class consumer is pulling their purse strings in tighter than most image.
FWIW when my older son worked at Vail in the early/mid 2010’s he was told that the average family spends $20,000+ for their week long ski trip to Vail, … so they were told to BE NICE to all the customers even if they become rude! so they will come back! (those going to Beavercreek or Whistler in Canada overall SPENT MORE!)
(that amount included their airfare /rental cars, accomodations, the equipment they buy, the spending on meals, etc., not just what they spend for ski passes, ski lessons, etc. and spend at tghe resort entities). 10 years later I can’t imagine the amount spent per family for a winter ski trip to Vail is any less costly (I know for a fact the accomodations prices, air fare, and rental car prices have all nearly doubled for a trip to Vail since that time).

Just booked Summer sojourn – was planning on going to The Stampede in Calgary this summer. Ended up in the $6000 per range for an inclusive trip, tickets for all the big events, couple nights in nat park w/Horses in a rainbowized Commie paradise..not gonna happen now.
We ended up balking at all that, and instead booked a Rustic trip to Jackson Hole.
Nat Park overnight action, big ass Chuck Wagon dinner out on the range, lots of Horseback riding, Shooting sports, Fly fishing..see if better half can beat me shooting clay pigeons..She is a deadeye, but Shotgun & Clay birds? Have to see what kinda Stakes she will agree to. : )
We tend to go out West for Cowboy/Girl themed Vacations..vacation from Retirement – ohhhgawd I luv the hard work! Best Ranch vaca so far was White Stallion in Tuscon – due the Gem Show in town and Casino nearby!
* Unfortunately the western resort/ranch we bee staying at does not transact in BTC. Still stoopid, but the facilities and Cabins are very well appointed, like nicey nicenice, so I think we will able to relax and enjoy, at least thats the Plan. My favorite Clothier also happens to be HQ’d in Jackson Hole, so will have to visit MK comp-any store while there.
Snowbirding starts day after X-mas for this adventurer, Boxing Day in Belize..everyone will be hungover, Thinking(Brain Ops) will be slowed to a crawl, People will be moving in slow motion as well. Just hope the bush Pilots who Fly the puddlejumpers from Belize City to points East (San Pedro), South (Placencia), West (Cayo) are sober enough to Fly.
