How to Turn Your Hobbies Into Cash

  1. Again, the rain fall totals for California are not measured on a calendar year. Our season is July 1 – June 30th. It is published everyday in our papers…. Season to date…Redding has has 25.38″..Normal is 33.18″to date….San Francisco has had 18.50″…Normal is 23.52″…Eureka 33.52″…Normal 39.62″…LA 8.51″…Normal 14.89″…San Diego 8.99″…Normal 10.28″.
Historically, this isn’t a huge drought…a good long rainstorm away from being normal again in may areas…but it is a water management problem because we have nearly 40 million people here and double that visiting here for tourism every year…The normals aren’t normal anymore…It just isn’t enough water for our population. We need a better water capture plan or a bit of help from our neighbors to the north and an inexpensive way to de-salinate the Pacific waters to pump up our reservoirs.

  2. “Music icon Shirley Bassey bemoans the passing of “class.”

Apparently Ms. Bassey measures “class” by the superficial appearance of one’s exterior. Personally, I prefer to see people without the pretentious facade. Just be people being comfortable with life, dressed as it were, to live instead of show.

In my world, class is a measure of character, not appearance.
