Exhibit #5: Similarly, even in small Georgia (the country not the peach farms) people just want to be left out of the “choose up sides and smell armpits” among Super Powers. Reaction? Predictable: Georgia’s prime minister says protesters want to topple his government and vows a further crackdown.

I pushed back this week’s planned Peoplenomics to next week. It’s the one where I answer Grabbe on the inherent contradictions of digital currency. Instead, “Improved Decision-making with Partial Solutions” in addition to the ChartPack.
I won’t spill the beans on the Grabbe answer (no hurry, he’s been dead since 2008, at least so it goes). But as you know, I am a Oneironaut.

Take a U.S. dollar out of your pocket. Observe that it has a “serial number.” And to hear AI explain it, that’s pretty useless:
Why serial numbers exist at all
Serial numbers aren’t meant for public tracking; they exist for accountability inside the printing and banking system. When the Bureau of Engraving and Printing runs off millions of notes, those numbers let auditors verify that every sheet printed, inspected, and shipped matches the Treasury’s order. It’s an internal control system—if a pallet of notes disappears or a run misprints, investigators can pinpoint which serial range was affected. Banks and armored carriers may log ranges when shipping bulk currency, but those records aren’t permanent and aren’t connected to specific consumers.
The limits of traceability
Once a bill enters circulation, it becomes anonymous cash. Law enforcement can record serials in sting operations, ransom tracking, or counterfeiting cases, but that’s manual, one-off tracking, not a master ledger. The U.S. system deliberately keeps cash unregistered to preserve liquidity and privacy. So the serial number’s “point” is quality control, accountability, and potential forensic tracing—not ownership recordkeeping. In that sense it’s more like a batch number on medicine than a license plate on a car: it identifies the manufacturing batch, not the user.
BUT – and this is key because BOTH Government currency and Crypto have this fault: Serialization and nominal “registration” doesn’t prevent ANYTHING.
In other words, just because you have a serial numbered unit of “money” it doesn’t mean it can’t be taken from you (collateralized) and there, boys and girls, is the gaping whole in crypto. It is NOT rehypothecation proof.
Rehypothecation means pledging the same asset as collateral multiple times, intentionally or indirectly, to expand leverage. In government currency systems, this happens invisibly through fractional reserve banking and derivatives: every deposited dollar can support multiple layers of credit creation, so the same base money is “re-used” in different balance sheets. The serial numbers on paper notes don’t prevent that because cash is only a small slice of the total monetary supply; most money exists as digital claims that can be multiplied through loans and financial engineering.
I actually came up with a way to resolve this, but I want to get a provisional patent app filed first.
For now, it’s an interesting notion. Once the PPA is in, well, then that episode will continue.
Dream Time
Besides coming up with how to plug the holes in digital currencies, I also have to remark on the “speed of insight” in this one. Quite remarkable. See, the alarm went off at 4 AM. I went to sleep, have an incredibly interesting dream (involving governments buildings, a stadium-like place with private boxes, and being able to fly) while also figuring out the crypto problem.
In all, it was like a whole day or two.

One for the Road: The FDA on Lithium
I won’t paste all my research here, but when I got thinking about Bubble UP at the top of today’s column, it reminded me of a very interesting question since my Dad died of Alzheimer’s many years ago.
He’d enjoyed 7-UP most of his life, including before and after the FDA required the company to take Lithiated salts (very weak lithium salts) out fo the soft drink back in 1948. It was entirely gone by 1950 as inventory sold-through.
But that triggered my asking an intriguing question which no one seems to have gotten-after. Is there a relationship between Historical Lithium Withdrawal from 7-Up and (subsequent increased) Generational Alzheimer’s Risk ?

Home of Mothers and Dunes (till Dawn) – out on Wildwood Crest. Used to be an affordable beach town where Northerners (newyorkers) mixed and mingled with Pennsyltuckians.
Today it is all upscale beach RE. Compared to Stoned Harbor/Avalon (cooler by a mile)/Sea Isle/Ocean City it is still more affordable than above mentioned shore towns.
Wildwood boardwalk is still one of the best places in country to People watch. I have been conducting an informal study of Obesity Ratios in the local populous.

Rite Aid has been circling the drain for years now. It’s bigger competitor in the Stand Alone Drug Store crowd, Walgreens, has closed or is in the process of closing over 1/2 of it’s stores.
Why does one need to go to a Stand Alone Drug Store when on one’s regular weekly shopping trip one can get one’s prescription filled, or buy any of the stuff they sell at a Stand Alone Drug Store, at your local Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, Costco, Krogers, Albertson’s, Safeway, Target, Meijers, (and previously K-Mart) etc.?
The days of the Stand Alone Drug Stores have been numbered since all the big food and general retailers started putting drug stores INSIDE their stores, licensed pharmisists and all.
The writing has been on the wall for nearly two decades, yet the big 5-7 drug store chains still kept expanding until about 10 years ago for reasons I just never understood (disclaimer I did a LOT of work for one of those chains over the years so I have followed the industry closely for 35 years).
Rite Aid was actually not badly run … it was just that the retail drug industry changed from under their feet and is effectively slowly destroying ALL of the Stand Alone Drug Store chains. Same thing happened with most of the smaller Hardware Store Chains including semi biggie Hechingers. McDonalds did the same to scores of smaller burger joint chains decades ago. Look at how soft goods retailing has changed, and so many national chains have gone bankrupt, since 3/4+ of all shopping malls have now closed!
Retailing is a tough business … .as main street merchants found out starting in 1888 when Sears and Roebuck started sending out their mail order catalogues which undercut those small town merchant prices (evan after including shipping prices) by 1/2 to 3/4!
Walgreens now has the pharmacy concession inside Brookshires grocery stores locally.

It claimed that the Tbilisi Restaurant, in the Balakleya (“Fish River”?) district, had been struck by a Russian missile with Ukrainian soldiers and NATO instructors trapped inside. Apparently “The Boston Times” is operated by a former US Marine who went on to partake of policing activity in environs surrounding Mar-a-Lago during a heyday of a late proprieter of Little St. James Island.
Days earlier, an alleged media vassal of a Putin underling, “EA Daily”, had published op-ed commentary alleging the Tbilisi Restaurant strike perhaps bore connection to a Mr. Mikheil Saakashvili. He is a two term Georgian President who went on to become the Governor of Odesa Oblast, Ukraine. Currently he appears to partake of secured accomodation imposed by Georgian authorities following conviction of trying to overthrow the government.
Georgia would seem to remain under control of the Georgian Dream Party headed by its founder and now honorary chair, the multi-billionaire Soviet oligarch Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili. One of his children is the rapper “Bera” which perhaps carries a Hebrew translation of “Son of Evil”.

The President of the Ukraine has posted another update to “his Telegram” account. Readers are told the video clip shows him greeting the Prime Minister of Lithuania, Ingrida Šimonyte (a former banker). Hmmm, actually her term in the office ended December 12, 2024 according to “Wikipedia”. The woman actually pictured bears likeness to Her Excellency Prime Minister Inga Ruginiene of a trade union background who began as PM on September 25, 2025.
Unlike the pomp and ceremony of the Netherlands’ PM arrival earlier, a military honour guard to open the Lithuanian PM’s car door is nowhere to be seen. She may have opened her own door while exiting the American Chevrolet(?) sedan vehicle along with two women assistants.
The video clip intro offers a less savoury opening than one is accustomed to. Left frame edging has not cropped out a setpiece mirror reflecting the President’s Number Six. An affixed blue stick figure wheelchair pictogram informs of the device’s accessibility features. The right hand side of the video frame is bracketed by one smiling Lithuanian assistant in business attire whose delightful presence only serves to accentuate the single entry round hole and paint damage adjacent to the delivering “limo’s” front headlight. Certainly the vehicle itself appears to otherwise be in impeccable running order.
Her Excellency’s “Wikipedia” page has already been updated regarding her visit to the palace in Kyiv. The Lithuanian PM is pictured in front of a grand staircase posing together with the Prime Minister of the Ukraine, Yulia Svyrydenko who took office on July 17, 2025. Stairs behind them ascend to parted curtains allowing a beam of light to shine down.

Well I am getting a box ready to ship some product that’s available commonly here but not where my brother lives..since I had a really bad experience shipping some fruit and vegitables to one of my acquaintances that was a contestant on naked and afraid.. I have been him hawing how to do it.. so.. I got two boxes one to fit in the center of the other with two plus inches around the inside box.. got an old egg carton the egg holders will work as legs two inches.. lined the big box with a trash bag put a trash bag around the little box.. then spray foamed the bottom of the big box set the little box in it with a rock in the center.. then spray foamed the sides.. now I thought why not make this the cooker to.. spray painted the flaps and interior of the little box..( yeah sure I should have glued foil inside the little box the painted it..the idea is.. fold one flap in as the top then the two sides in.. back interior cut a triangle for a stand fold it set the box on it like a shelf picture frame.. then foil the side piece making a trap avoid reflective cone that will be held together as a cone and held into place by rubber bands and stick pins.. on the bottom flap you angle it with a rack or jar to hold the bottom flat..( I know I had thought of just slicing the flap to be the bottom so the could fold dow n to hold the pan flat but every section has a different angle) then a piece of glass to fit over the box with a handle to open it..
I will finish it off by putting a plastic bag over this spray foam th make a seal able lid…. well I got the boxes foamed and the trap.. no worries similar to the DAP ( double angle traps slid cooker the kids made withcardboard..mine is gutter tin and a pop flat as the case and stand)

“You got in trouble again., didn’t you?” – It wasn’t really a question.
I had just sat down to start a new book and ‘The Mrs’ walked in.
“Trouble? I never get in trouble.”
Open hands went to closed fists, fists planted on her hips, takes step forward and little five-foot-one ‘Wonder Woman’ emerges from the depths of darkness., cape flowing in the Moon Light. She’s so cute when she does that.
– I’m in trouble –
“You flattened that guy in front of the book store two days ago..,”
“That was no trouble at all.” ., and gave weak smile. Wrong move.
“You broke his wrist., broke his nose and he bit his tongue so hard it took three stitches to close it up !”
I said nothing., just looked at her…, ‘sooooo??’
“Well?”
“OK. Let me explain.” I sat the book aside. “I was coming out of the coffee shop downtown and was about to get on the Harley and come home when I heard a guy yelling and screaming across the street. He was yelling and screaming in Ole Chester’s face.”
“92 year old Chester???”
“Yep., and I didn’t like that very much., so went across the street to try and stop it. Well, this muscle bound drunk-punk about 24, or so, was right in Ole Chester’s face., so I stepped in-between them and faced the drunk-punk back. You could smell the beer on him. He yelled something like – “What is this.., old man day!!?” and grabbed me by the shirt.”
“What?? Someone actually grabbed you?” Look of astonishment.
“It was planned. See., big dumb-ass drunk guys like him, know one thing.., grab and throw a punch. So, I timed it.., let him grab me and I reached up over and grab his hand and twisted it back., he let go and stopped his punch and I took my other hand and helped twist it even more.., very hard – something snapped – I felt it.”
“., and that’s when you punched him in the nose…” Fists still planted on hips – I’m not out of this yet.
“I rarely ‘ever’ hit any one..,”
“Oh.., that’s right., how did you put it.., ‘I prefer to break things.’ ”
“I’m not sure I said it like that., but it’s true. I palmed him in the nose – it snap-crackle-popped and he went back up against the building. Still standing though – I’ll give him that., though now bleeding profusely.” I rubbed the palm of my right hand., still a little sore.
“You know this is all over town? Ole Chester told everyone the story at the Senior Center.”
I didn’t say anything. Can’t stand the Senior Center – bunch of grumpy old people sitting around – “Waiting For God”.
“Do you know who that ‘drunk-punk’ was ??”
I just looked at her blankly. I didn’t care who he was.
“He is the Mayor’s son. Visiting from Washington State.”
“Seems she raised him as a mirror image of herself.”
“Wha…, ?”
“Rude, obnoxious, inconsiderate, entitled, self-important..,” I was counting on my fingers..,
“I get it.., I get it.” and she raised a hand.
“She almost called the cops., but someone showed her the video from the books store camera. They put it on Facebook. She realized that he could be charged with a couple of counts of assault. She is catching a lot of flak over this. ”
“Gee and me being an old., disabled Vietnam veteran.., just defending himself.., ” ..and grinned.
“Defending himself?”
“I can’t help it if my defense is better than drunk-punk’s offense.., can I ? Besides, he was obviously drunk in public and it was, what ?.., 7 o’clock in the morning. What a great, mature son she has. And no one is going to do that to Ole Chester if I am around.”
“You should have told me about it..,” Fists came off her hips…, out of trouble for the moment. “One of these days you are going to under-estimate someone and get hurt.”
“I never.., under-estimate. If I thought he was a real threat I would have cripple him for life before he even knew what happened. Never., ever.., under-estimate. Bad Ju-Ju.”
“.., and, Yes.., I should have told you.., sorry, ’bout that. But it really wasn’t a problem.”
Fists opened and she turned to leave.., “Tell me next time.”

She headed for the kitchen.., “Oh hell, there will always be a ‘next time’ !”

I have been tailgate spreading all morning. Building roads. I got get my load and had a chunk of inch and a quater recycle stuck in my tail gate dogs. So i got out and tried to beat it out with a hammer. I had 6 trucks behind me. So i hopped in my truck and said i will go over to costco parking lot and see if i can get it out over there. I dont want to hold up everyone.
Literally 30 seconds tops, after i got back in my dumptruck and backed up to turn around. The parking brake for the tool mans truck sitting to the left of me gave way and rolled back and took out the fence.
If i had been out there, it would have killed me dead dead dead. But you know….. i am always right where im supposed to be doing exactly what im supposed to be doing.
THE DUDE always moves me out of the way. Lol.
Poor Tool man, his truck took out a large part of the fence and broke its back axel.

Commercial Real Estate Collapse grinds on … as expected:
As I have posted before wrt Commercial Real Estate collapses in that realm occure slowly … sort of like a tide coming in. Once it starts it is relentless, one can’t stop it, AND it will take a while until it hit’s it’s maximum level and finrally starts to decline.
The reason for the slowness in Commercial Real Estate collapses is multi fold but revolves around three main issues:
1) Leases on the real estate are written for multiple YEARS, not months, so the lease money keeps coming in until the lease expires or the company paying it goes broke, even if the leased property itself becomes unoccupied because it is no longer needed.
On the surface of the Financial Statesment everything looks mostly OK … for quite a while … and then slowly, just slowly, the financials starts to deteriorate as the leases come up for renewal and either are not renewed or are renewed for the now MUCH LOWER market lease rates. In this realm it is educational to look at NYC commercial real estate in the 1930’s.
Initially after the 1929 crash everything looked OK for NYC commercial real estate, but then the lease rates went down BIC TIME … but it took YEARS for all of those old leases to come up on their renewal dates and for the actual lease payments to the landlords to actually decline. In fact NYC commercial real estate did not bottom until 1937, amlost 4 years after the stock market finally bottomed!! and almost 8 years after the stockmarket crash. The reason for the delay is because it took that long for most of those high rent old leases to expire and for the foreclosure process to work it’s way through the system!!
2) The operating costs of a BIG building are high … and as tenants leave and parts of it become vacant the landlord has to absorb more and more of the costs of the building’s operating costs which eats into the cash flow that they are collecting from the tenantswho are still in the building. In fact the result can be, and often is, once a building is about 40% vacant the landlord is running a negative CASH FLOW EVERY MOINTH, having to “feed” the building more and more CASH every month just to keep the building open and the heat turned on. What this means is that there is now *** NO money left to pay the lenders on the loan used to buy or refinance the building!!***
3) “*** NO money left to pay the lenders on the loan used to buy or refinance the building!!***” This is where the 3rd item shows up … The Lender doesn’t want to recognize the fact that their loan is now worthless, or close to worthless, since that may throw THEM into insolvency too!! Thus the lender, with a wink and a nod from the Fed or other regulators (such as insurance regulators) then starts something called “Loan Restructuring”.
“Loan Restructing” is a fancy name for burying the fact that the building is losing money, CASH MONEY, every month and the lender needs to loan more and more money every month into this quickly sinking dinosaur!!
To keep the lender from going under too everybody agrees to a fiction that the Building Rents, and thus Value, is going to COME BACK, in the NEAR FUTURE, and everybody will be made whole again!!
It is PURE FICTION but everybody agrees that will happen, including the banking regulators, the insurance regulators, the ratings agencies, and voila for the next 3+ years they just keep rewriting the loan every 3 to 6 months!! so it is NEVER in default!!
Eventually the regulators get tired of the game, and the lenders get tired of funnelling more and more good money every month into the cash hole from hell after their already lost money and the loan is finally written off (all or mostly) and the building is finally transferred away free and clear of all of those old pesky loans.
The entire process TAKES YEARS to play out … today we are now about 1/2 way in to the process of the problems that began in early 2020 with REAL LOSSES finally being booked by the lenders and owners of the now upside down buildings (although the losses already existed 4 years ago at that time nobody wanted to publicly admit it).
Anyway a good artice via Zero Hedge showing what is happening in the Commercial Real Estate market at the moment with the write offs now starting to be recognized more and more. REMEMBER … IT IS GOING TO GET WORSE!!
Yes some select properties, mostly very very top tier Class A properties are still OK, a few are still doing very well, but don’t be confused … those are an EXCEPTION to what is happening in the overall general market for large property Commercial Real Estate buidings.

1/2 tsp liquid smoke (optional, since I will be smoking them)
1/4 cup vegetable broth (adjust as needed)
Blend the Base In a food processor, combine beans, tomato paste, oil, soy sauce, and maple syrup. Blend until smooth.
Mix the Dry Ingredients In a bowl, combine vital wheat gluten, oats, chickpea flour, and all spices.
Combine & Knead Add the wet mixture to the dry. Stir, then knead for 2–3 minutes until it forms a stretchy dough. Add broth gradually to get a firm but pliable texture.
Shape the Dogs by stuffing them in casings ..( cellulose casings)
steam them then smoke them …once internal temp reaches 155 cool them in ice water and remove from the casings.. vacuum pack and freeze

Personally, based on the three signposts fundamentals, technicals, investor psychology (emphasis psycho) it appears to me we are very near the top. That said, a constant reminder, if tempted to bet on the “dark side” it’s logical to ladder vs. go all in.
