Truth be told? I must have been the guy in the back alley behind a diner in the thirties who ran the floating craps game.
This week sets up like the classic “could go either way.” As I showed you Friday, we’d get to the resolution of a bounce in our state-variance extremes modeling – and by, oh, maybe noon tomorrow? – we should be there.

As you can see (red dashed line bottom and dashed green overhead) we COULD break higher, but it won’t be clear for a little while. The blue-dashed line shows where a downturn was averted last week. A rally at the close today? Bets down?
We’ll be watching The Economic Fractalist’s site later this week. (He doesn’t write or post obsessively.) Hopefully he will find something a little more up-tempo than Chet Atkins, though!
If you like to write your own version of what markets should do, guess that would be like Picking Your own Poisson – as in distribution! Which reminds us that rare events don’t “owe” you anything.
Forgot school? Poisson models how often a specific event happens in a fixed stretch of time or trials when the average rate is known and events occur independently — like how many times a roulette wheel might land on a single number over many spins.
The key takeaway: outcomes cluster randomly. You can get streaks, droughts, or back-to-back hits purely by chance, even when the true odds never change. A long dry spell does not increase the probability of the next hit — the process has no memory. The only thing that matters is the underlying rate (?), not how “due” something feels.
Sometimes you get “runs.” Other times, you get run over!
CFNAI Reading
While we await TTT (Trump Tariffs Three) it’s entertaining to see what the Chicago Fed is tracking in its National Activity Indicator:
“The Chicago Fed National Activity Index (CFNAI) increased to +0.18 in January from –0.21 in December. All four broad categories of indicators used to construct the index increased from December, and two categories made positive contributions in January. The index’s three-month moving average, CFNAI-MA3, increased to –0.06 in January from –0.29 in December.
The CFNAI Diffusion Index, which is also a three-month moving average, increased to –0.06 in January from –0.36 in December. Forty-seven of the 85 individual indicators made positive contributions to the CFNAI in January, while 38 made negative contributions. Fifty-seven indicators improved from December to January, while 28 indicators deteriorated. Of the indicators that improved, 20 made negative contributions.”
The BIG inflation reality will be underscored in tomorrow’s Housing data (Case-Shiller, S&P, CoreLogic, and a pizza guy – PR folks gotta get all the players named).
For now, TEF’s fractal call looks good with the Dow futures down more than 200.
MexRev: Leadership Failure Pending?
Here’s the latest flare-up we’ve been anticipating on the Peoplenomics side for literally years now:
- The latest round of violence along Puerto Vallarta and that region began with Mexico’s taking out (yes, killing) a major drug kingpin. OK, we (the US) had helped a bit. Exclusive: New US military-led group aided Mexico’s hunt for ‘El Mencho’ cartel boss | Reuters
- There have been some reports that Mexico’s president would NOT go after other drug operators and rejected a widespread response because of human rights. IF true – and we are looking for additional sources – this would be a train-wreck moment. What we do know she’s saying? Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum Urges Calm After ‘El Mencho’ Killing, Cites State Coordination – AL24 News
Could the P.V., Jalisco violence spill over into the U.S. in coming weeks? You bet. The successor isn’t clear and the messaging in gangland wars can be particularly brutal. And the Capos may try to clean house up north – meaning possible spillover into Los Estados Unidos.
Already, Glen Beck is credited by one reader with proposing the US Congress issue Letter of Marque to prevent things from getting out of hand. We were very disappointed (but somehow not surprised) to read how it feels the U.N. is inserting themselves: UN Chief Warns of Deliberate Pushback Against Human Rights. We admire the “turn the other cheek” notions, but we wryly notice that it’s usually not the cheeks of the promoter of pacifism that get slapped.
Sometimes, lines harden and wars happen. Cheek-turning hasn’t worked in Ukraine or the whole of the Middle East, near as we can figure. There’s a historical rhyme to the weekend violence.
Gangland wars happen when economic uncertainty is in the air. Right now, you can cut it with a knife.
Let’s Zoom-Out and Flash Back
What made Al Capone dangerous wasn’t just violence — it was parallel governance. Capone was jailed in 1933. Not the same as the weekend in P.V./Jalisco, but there’s a rhyme here.
In Depression-era Chicago, organized crime didn’t simply sell booze; it provided jobs, credit, food baskets, and “protection” in neighborhoods where formal institutions were weak or distrusted. When the economy cracked, legitimacy fractured with it. Capone’s genius was understanding that if you control distribution — alcohol then, narcotics now — and you redistribute a slice locally, you become less a criminal in the eyes of some and more a shadow mayor. That dynamic thrives wherever economic stress outruns lawful opportunity.
Modern cartel structures in places like Jalisco (and more generally Mexico) operate with a similar template. Beyond trafficking, they fund festivals, hand out aid after storms, sponsor local projects, and embed themselves socially. The result is a blurred line between outlaw and provider. When formal government feels distant or ineffective, the group that delivers work and security — even coercive security — can build a base of reluctant loyalty. The public narrative shifts from “criminal” to “necessary evil,” especially in regions where poverty and limited state capacity create fertile ground.
History’s rhyme isn’t about romance; it’s about vacuum. When uncertainty rises, parallel systems fill the gap. Capone rose in a moment when Prohibition created massive black-market profit and the Depression hollowed out trust. Today’s drug lords operate in a globalized version of that same incentive structure: high margins, weak enforcement seams, and communities looking for stability wherever they can find it. The personalities differ, the commodities differ — but the economic physics look uncomfortably familiar.
AION (and, in other news)
Weather in East Texas continues dry and unusually warm. Seem the east coast isn’t going to be as lucky this week: N.J. weather: Early snowfall totals hit 8 to 9 inches, with blizzard set to ramp up overnight. A few flurries for our consigliere up in Columbus. But it looks worse the farther east you go.
The South, meanwhile, is in heating mode: Moderate to Severe Drought Raises Fire Risk as Warm Windy Week Sets in on Louisiana.
Today, class, we learn trying to see the President without an invite isn’t too smart. Man killed after entering secure perimeter of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, Secret Service says
AI isn’t the problem – it’s always the back room: Scoop: Hegseth to meet Anthropic CEO as Pentagon threatens banishment. Some senior perspective here: “Clod hoppers” was old American slang for heavy work boots — the kind farmers, laborers, and small-town kids wore. The phrase later became a mild insult meaning country bumpkin or unsophisticated person (“big feet in the dirt”). Claude hoppers today means something else, we’re sure.
Around the Ranch: Pancakes, Wire, and Africa
Winter finally took a swipe at the wire. One good blow and the antenna came down like a tired campaign promise. No drama — just weather doing what weather does. This week I walked the line, checked the feedpoint, reset the supports, and got it back in the air. The apex now sits about 25 feet up, with the far end — the long leg — stretched toward Europe at roughly 60 feet. Ran a clean line to the distant support, snugged everything just-so, and on first sweep the SWR came in right around 1.2:1 on both 20 and 15 meters. That’s cooperative physics.
With the wire behaving, the bands rewarded my minimal effort. Europe rolled in steady on CW at 100 watts: in quick succession it went Serbia, Germany, Ireland, Croatia, Italy, Hungary — solid copy, clean exchanges. For antenna testing, you can’t beat an “international CW contest weekend.” Like having your own (personal) global sensor network.
Bored with “shooting fish in a barrel” on 20, I popped up to 15 meters just as TT1GD out of Chad popped up from Central Africa. From a modest apex and a higher far end, the new pattern must be throwing just enough useful lobe to double or triple-tap the F2 layer down the continent. No tower. No amplifier. Just wire, trees, timing, and knowing when to move up-band.
And here’s a little Ten-Tec Omni-VII arcana for the older-ears crowd: there’s a tiny sweet spot in the bandpass where, if you tighten the DSP in a particular way and set the noise blanker to “2,” the contest hash almost evaporates. The background grit drops away and the call signs jump out like they’re lit from inside. Not like a fast-enough squelch circuit to handle 30 words a minute contesting, but nearly that. It’s not magic — it’s knowing your cockpit. Between that receiver trick and riding the QSB peaks, 100 watts is plenty.
One chuckle for the Northwest contingent: when TT1GD came up over in Chad, I managed to edge out K7SS — at least for a few minutes — he’s been a DX fixture in Seattle ham circles nearly forever. Folks outside radio ops might not know he (Danny) was one of the early “inventors” of the “retro clothing” look in the PNW years decades ago.
I remember dodging Dan’s big signal on 20 meters while trying to work DX from my sailboat out at Shilshole Bay Marina. After bomber and pea jackets back when, Dan moved into used denim so the “coder class” could buy some “street look” to pose in coder Nirvana.
Past several years, Dan’s creative genius showed up in another form — the World Famous Big Shoe Museum tucked into Pike Place Market. It’s impressive the back-stories of people who show up on 15 meters during a CW contest. And enjoyable when – for the first time in memory I was first to snag Africa DX with a hundred watts and a still-too-low wire.
Radio operators on the same frequency are like sailboats on the same tack, if you hadn’t figured it.
Remember, I told you long ago in one of my ShopTalk antenna diatribes that OCFD antennas get a bum rap. People refer to them as “off center fed dipoles.” But, the secret sauce is on multiples of the antenna’s primary resonance, they become end-firing. And – oh – did I mention with 7 – 9 dBd off the end-firing pattern? A typical 92′ x 46′ OCFD isn’t directional down on 80 meters. But it’s a gunslinger up over the poles on the third and fourth harmonics which is how I play ’em.
Winter knocks down antennas. I put ’em back up – dial ’em in – and they rock once more. Problem? Working into Europe is actually too easy. See, the real sport half a century into brass pounding (of a key) is this: “What’s your personal best “Watts per Mile” contact?” Chad penciled out to a mere 69 miles per watt. 100 watts and a nearly 7,000 mile path.
That’s like CB radio power in San Francisco getting reliable comes into Los Angeles (or Thousand Oaks).
My goal now? To beat my own best: 700 miles per watt on a low power 3-watt radio over 2,060 mile path…

my father told me..that because of the times..he would send his men out and at every home with children they would leave a box of food..and for those transients he opened soup kitchens.. made them put expiration dates on milk and every child at school got milk and a meal.. no one was willing to turn him in..
for as many bad things..there was also good things.. similarly..one of the patients I took care of..was a little girl her dad was really sick ..the James gang being pursued by the law stopped and asked if they could sleep in their barn..seeing how sick her dad was they stayed took care of the farm until her dad got better..they sure didn’t have to do that..no one would ever know if they didn’t..but they were just old farm boys..

Never had it – but I do remember it.., one of the oddest labels I have ever seen.
hmm.. I wonder if a person could kiln their grain with peat at home…in a good scotch whiskey they smoked the malted grain while drying it….. I haven’t delved into making the specialty brews.. I just make wine and beer..but it’s interesting….
How anyone can drink Scotch is beyond me. I’ve siphoned gasoline that tasted better. I grew up in the north. Canada makes some good bourbon.
Lol lol..that’s why I prefer wine or mead.. you would have liked the old Viking mead made with honey and wild fires.. I made a batch of that for the neighbor that fixed our plumbing..got him interested in beer making he made a delicious raspberry sour.. I’m trying to get him interested in making a wood fired oven for his patio for fresh bread..the best of both worlds..I totally plan on making a batch of the raspberry sour..I want to try the smoking of the malted grain..

feat: Princess Royal leads the way
Recently msm reported that the last English royal arrested prior to the former prince lately of Sandringham was King Charles I. However before history caught up with the king, he had granted a city charter in 1626 to Leeds, Yorkshire.
As chance would have it last week on the day the former prince had conversation under detention with authority, his elder sister – Anne the Princess Royal – visited Leeds. Published images portrayed the Princess in fine spirits. The destination of her journey was a historic Grade II listed structure dating to 1847 housing elements of HMP (His Majesty’s Prison) Leeds. Affectionately known to locals as Armley Gaol, the facility sits within bounds of the Armley district which boasted the city’s second highest crime rate as of 2022 according to “Wikipedia”.

Shut the doors! Apple pie and pickett fence citizenry are informed by “Wikipedia” that the “The Deadly Mantis (gr:”praying type/form”) film of 1957 received a one out four star rating by ‘TV Guide’. Their reviewer complimented the movie’s “lame rip-off of the sci-fi classic ‘Them’.” Apparently “Deadly Mantis” double-billed in theatres with “The Girl in the Kremlin” which was released on April 11, 1957. In the latter, Zsa Zsa Gabor played Lithuanian Nurse Greta ministering to a plastic surgery altered Russian dictator Jsf. Stalin. The film picks up the good guys’ trail in post WW2 Abensberg, Bavaria where Napoleon had won victory over the Austrians on April 20, 1809 during the War of the Fifth Coalition.
As chance would have it, the director of “The Deadly Mantis” was a brother of the famed American quality control guru Joseph Juran whose “Quality Control Handbook” published in 1951 was embraced by Japan. Sadly in comparison, matters are coming to a head in the Persian Gulf. The carrier USS Gerald R. Ford appears to have been deployed at less than Sigma Six standards according to the following post on “X”:

Speaking of the Persian Gulf and “X” marks the spot, Intelschizo advises that a Chinese research vessel has earlybird tickets to the show at the following link:

Deepwater vessel “Hai Yang Shi You (ch: Offshore Oil) 285” (gr: sand; ch: paired success mixed luck) is placed at Al Shaheen Oilfield (ar: the peregrine falcon [royal Persian {Iran} falcon]) by publicly available vessel trackers. The Qatari oilfield was formerly a joint venture between Qatar and Denmark switching to Qatar and France since 2017.
The Deadly Mantis film quote…
“I’m convinced that we’re dealing with a Mantis in whose geological world the smallest insects were as large as man, and now failing to find those insects as food, well… it’s doing the best that it can.”
Mexico? Maybe The Cisco Kid can help…
The Cisco Kid is a 1950–1956 half-hour American Western television series starring Duncan Renaldo in the title role, the Cisco Kid, and Leo Carrillo as the jovial sidekick, Pancho. The series was syndicated to individual stations, and was popular with children. Cisco and Pancho were technically desperados wanted for unspecified crimes, but were viewed by the poor as Robin Hood figures who assisted the downtrodden when law enforcement officers proved corrupt or unwilling to help.
The Cisco Kid was a charming ladies’ man, dressed in a highly embroidered black outfit, and his sidekick Pancho brought humor to the series with his heavily accented comments. Duncan Renaldo said of Leo Carrillo playing Pancho: “His accent was so exaggerated that when we finished a picture, no one in the cast or crew could talk normal English any more.” The Cisco Kid rode a horse named Diablo, and Pancho rode Loco.

An internet buddy of mine has a beautiful Swan 65 sailboat. They are very nice boats..,bordering on – fantastic. He [ in his 70’s ] was headed for Puerto Vallarta., with his wife, daughter and her husband., but after being in communication with several land-sources and all the news and then the U.S. and Canadian governments issuing warnings, they immediately change course and headed out to sea., out of Mexican waters.
They now are roughly 265 miles off the coast have decided to make way for Hawaii., somewhere in Kaneohe Bay. [ Oahu ]
.
After looking for and reading some of the Mexican Presidents comments and speeches., it sure sounds like she is supporting the cartels. With the military and police under fire – I don’t believe they are going to listen to her.
Perhaps Mr T should pick up Mexico as a state before Greenland – border savings and cleaning up the cartels would pay for it

That is the most ridiculous interpretation of the Four Horsemen I have ever seen! The writer emphasizes the horsemen, but the colors are crucial. Their appearance is sequential – one follows another as day follows night. War, famine, pestilence and finally death. Never trusted Swaggart after he gave a message on “Planet Heaven.” Also said he would never have a college named after him – a dig at Oral Roberts. Then, years later we’re driving down the street in Baton Rouge and behold, a sign announcing: “Future Home of Jimmy Swaggart Bible College.”

i had a vision a few years back in deep Meditation of this long line of people walking accross this continent. a continent that stretched accross the equator. they were in this valley of High Mountains. the Mountains looked like waves with white caps on them more than actual mountains. i zoomed out from the earth and saw there was only one big continent on the middle of the earth. and one small island mid way to the north about the size of texas. which texas is big but small in compairson to one big continent in the middle of the earth. there was only one light upon the whole earth. a city. one city left.
all the people (kids mostlu) had this steam punk look to them. they carried everything they owned on their backs. there was a few wagons with 2 headed ox pulling them but most people were walking. most of them were as children but there was a few older grey headed people. very few regular aged adults (ages 25 to 65) maybe a hand full from what in saw.
all of them just happy to be alive.
they were being guided by these much taller beings wearing Emerald Green robes with elaberate gold embrodery. they had an elaborote golden henna style on their hande and faces.
i wasnt sure, but I think all these much taller beings were all women. felt like a female presence. they didnt ever say anything. They kinda reminded me of Elves and Angels ive read about in books. delicate figures but very strong and extremely fast. moved with a unatural quickness. shimmering.
they were all being guided to a city that shined bright like Gold and like Emerald. the only light shining from when i zoomed out and saw the whole earth.
the only person who spoke to me, because i dont think they saw me there. i wasnt physically present. one of taller beings wearing Emerald Green robes with elaberate gold embrodery. they had an elaborote golden henna style on their hande and faces said to me, “You are already in the city. its not damascus.”
that is all they said.
damascus being widely regarded as the oldest city in the world.
i forgot about that vision until this morning after my last comment. i dont know why that vision recall popped in my head after my study of Revelations to John and the directional becons. this morning.

We wonders..
When you walk into a casino with pockets bulging with cash most can’t help themselves, even if they didn’t intend to gamble and were only going for the Buffet. Yep .. eventually most wander over to the table, or to that new Push Button Bandit, since those of a one armed variety had that arm ripped off. and start gambling with that money that is burning a hole in their pockets.
So what does that have to do with those who of us who are not near any o the many casinos at the moment?
Trump is in the same pickle. His pockers are filled with airplanes, ships, and borrowed money and he has now wandered into the Casino Of War but that casin’s owner, the universe, will not let him leave that Casino with his pockets holding the same number of airplanes, ships, and money that he wandered in with. The universe can recognize a “Mark” when one presents itself … and then it gets to work to relieve that “Mark” of some of the stuff that was in it’s pockets when it wandered into the Casino (in fact sometimes almost EVERYTHING that was in those pockets)
The lure of the casino is drawing Trump over to the tables and the push button bandits. The attraction is too great … so eventually he IS going to place a bet at the tables, or with the machines, AND he WILL lose at least some of he bet when he starts betting.
How much will he lose and how long will he stay at the table?
The last time around the Gambler claimed “Mission Accomplished” about 40 day after he placed his first bet … but alas he just couldn’t leave the table, finally turning over his position at the table to another gambler who was still gambling hard 14 years later, each of them having lost more every year that they stayed and gambled.
Total lost last time around was about 5000 lives and $3 to $4 trillon dollars, not counting the interest that would have to be paid on the amount borrowed – which was all of it.
Maybe it’s time for those of us just observing to start making side bets as to WHEN Trump will start actually gambling, HOW LONG will Trump and his successors will keep gambling, and HOW MUCH in total will be lost (spent) once they total everything up when the gambling is over.
Interesting times.
Trump is not at the casino to ‘gamble’ ,,, he is there to BUST them,, they should not have done the crime, if they don;t want to do the time

Tuesday morning here. I’ve been waiting for today to decide whether to book a flight to the US to (try) and sell some PMs. The bullion dealer that I’ve been doing business with has been “closed for remodel” for about three weeks now. Every week he has extended that date. Today he should have updated that, if he had opened, about 3 hours ago.
I currently have no idea whether I should go ahead and book a flight not knowing if anyone is open and willing to buy.

Psssst Hey Chief,
you hear the one about global nuke war after president nucking futz launches attack on Moscow ? Yeah neither have I, although did see an old movie about such a scenario, oh well here is link to the alarming story posted on the theinteldrops’ icelandic servers this AM..
https://www.theinteldrop.org/2026/02/22/highest-sources-trump-has-told-military-commanders-that-they-will-be-attacking-russia-as-many-are-fleeing-dc-for-canada-further-tid-exclusive/
Thinks we may be extending the our stay now, after a successful visit to American trained Vets this AM with our banged up little jack Russel. Thought she had a Bot Fly growing in the skin of her neck, in Belize they are called Beef Flys. What with all the issues with parasitic fly’s, we worried about a hole ontop of bump with dark dried discharge. Waiting the in the waiting room when we arrived, was a curly tailed brown “world” Dog. His owner brought him in for clean up and stiches, after he crossed a CoatiMundi – “a Quash”. They got claws like ant eaters, and typically shred Dogs..this guy was lucky.
Funny thing on drive home had a beautiful Coati Mundi cross highway right in front of truck. Lucky for him I can Drive at speed very well, very well. About 5 minutes after meeting the coatimundi victem, tech comes out to warn 2 big dogs coming out of exam room.
2 big Pitties, with the saddest looks on their faces. Turned out they had a run in with a Porcupine last night. Drugged outta thier minds and faces swollen from all the Quills that had to be pulled back out. Poor pups, so miserable they were that older bigger one dropped a deuce in middle waiting room. Owner turns around and says “which one did it?”, I told him Im Not dropping a dime on the dogs, I understood where he was coming from..prolly woulda done the same..that scheisse gotta hurt.
So grateful Im not proud owner of a baby bot/beef fly. Just a skin tag that broke off, turned cystic like ball. Beef worms create a tunnel, you can feel difference from cystic “bump”. Google bot fly extractions for some late night entertainment, fascinating.

This week sets up like the classic “could go either way.” As I showed you Friday, we’d get to the resolution of a bounce in our state-variance extremes modeling – and by, oh, maybe noon tomorrow? – we should be there.”)
As you can see (red dashed line bottom and dashed green overhead) we COULD break higher, but it won’t be clear for a little while. The blue-dashed line shows where a downturn was averted last week. A rally at the close today?
Hmm…What gets me about charts, projections, and all these “magic indicators” is that they often feel like creative accounting dressed up as science. Certain stats get highlighted, others get buried, and the final picture ends up reflecting whatever narrative someone wants to project. Meanwhile, the realities that people in the lower tiers of society live through — the stress, the instability, the day?to?day struggle — don’t show up in those charts at all. That disconnect creates a kind of illusion for the people at the top, because the problems that hit ordinary families simply don’t exist in their world. And when you mix that disconnect with global tension, economic strain, and everyone trying to read the future like tarot cards, it’s no wonder people start imagining worst?case scenarios. History shows that when societies feel stretched thin, fear rises fast, and the sense that trouble could reach our own shores becomes very real. It’s not about predicting disaster — it’s about recognizing how fragile things can feel when the numbers on paper don’t match the lived experience on the ground.
consider..1. The Roaring Twenties (U.S., 1920s)
the Charts said: The Stock market was booming,GDP was rising, Corporate profits were up….
But the real life for many was :Farmers were going bankrupt,Rural banks were collapsing,Wages weren’t keeping up with prices hmm sounds like today huh..
The “official” numbers looked great — right up until the Great Depression hitthehen there was…2. Japan’s Asset Bubble (Of the 1980s)
The Charts said:Sky?high stock prices we’re cooking now,,Exploding real estate values… oh shit that sounds like now a house that cost thirty seven grand twenty years ago just sold for half a million in an area where the common wage is fifteen bucks an hour and below…Tge charts and statistics showed a wtrong GDP growth…While in real life:Young families couldn’t afford homes..oh my similarities of today.. !ow income housing is now higher than low income wages..Wages were stagnated.. employers still have to pay for brick and mortar increases..similar to my home taxes are a quarter of our monthly income..Debt loads quietly ballooned..oh my that to is similar to the cast majority living on plastic today..
Then the bubble burst, and Japan entered a 30?year economic stagnation…
Oh my what about…3. Greece Before the 2008 Crisis….The Charts said:
Tgere was a Strong GDP…Healthy growth…A Stable currency, everything looked amazing..while In Real life of those on the bottom tiers:
Things like the Hidden government debt and mismanagement of the government…dam DOGE and their discoveries hits home with that one..all while there was Rising unemployment,Crumbling public services( oh my I could rant about the insurance industry and the nations horrific healthcare situation…but that’s another rant…)
When the truth finally surfaced, the entire economy collapsed almost overnight….what isn’t being told is…History shows that when an economy breaks down, the suffering doesn’t hit everyone equally…. In Greece’s financial crisis, for example, many elderly people were pushed so far to the margins that some resorted to dumpster diving because their pensions no longer covered basic necessities today we see that in how many are forced to eat cat and dog food..travel to the countries borders just to be able to buy essential medications and medical services that have out priced them. And in other severe downturns around the world — from the Great Depression to various modern collapses — young single and married women have sometimes been forced into desperate choices like selling their bodies just to secure food or shelter.. Today we see this trend with young college girls..to pay for books and tuition and still have time to study… When the cost of living rises faster than wages or fixed incomes, people at the bottom of the economic ladder often face impossible decisions where in other tiers these issues simply don’t exist.. These situations aren’t about morality; they’re about survival in systems that has stop protecting the most vulnerable.
From my perspective, it’s a simple reminder that even when the charts look stable — or even profitable for some — the real story is happening underneath….
The support tiers of society, where the people live and work to keep everything running, they are often the first ones to slip through the cracks when costs rise and wages don’t meet basic needs.
Realistically Statistics can paint a clean picture and people will see it through their rose colored glasses, but they rarely show the strain on the elderly choosing between medicine and food, or families juggling to pay rent, while utilities, and groceries increase beyond their ability to afford with no margin of income left to work with.
The higher tiers of society simply don’t feel these pressures directly, they simply don’t exist in their neighborhoods.. but they’re still completely dependent on the strength of the people living at the base… remember what happened to brick and mortar during the COVID crises.
History makes that reality very clear: when the foundation if a society weakens, the whole structure then becomes extremely fragile. A society can only stand tall as long as the people at the bottom are able to stand at all.
Just like teaching a preschooler how to build a tower with building blocks..you have to have a strong base..in Jinga if you remove to many blocks below the tower falls..its the same in everything..a strong foundation..a projection chart can be manipulated to point to any point.. since the real life scenario the visual is different..as a friend says..

Class mobility is not an option for most wage earners. It is still possible to better yourself, but it is a lifetime uphill battle, which most are not up to. Finding a niche which doesn’t require you to exploit Others is very difficult, because the exploitation artists will come for you. Been there. Next issue is finding work that you can physically handle. I did a lot of climbing in facilities in my younger days; I am past that age.
Periodically some random malevolent ass-clown will use false narratives to try and tear it all down on behalf of the exploitation class. I have gotten better at turning it around on the personality disordered freaks, but it is difficult to get justice from the good old boys and their sociopath minions. That never changes. The system is set up to systematically shield abusers.
I no longer view retirement as a goal, just a natural progression of things.
What killed my life was astronomical medical bills..my ex had one of those experimental IUDs that caused so much problems..at twenty one and a half mil in medical bills..the hospital forgave all but fifty grand ..but at less than three bucks an hour.at twenty four percent interest it y just ain’t happening..
Then a step child falling from a tree imposing himself through the chest plura/cardia..they had to fly a team in ..only to discover that little insurance card in the wallet was about as good as my battle trying to get them pay now.. my boss decided the odds of anyone getting real sick was minimal and the stock market was soaring.. he took the employees money and played the stock market and precious metals..
That has haunted my sorry butt for over fifty five years..only one banker willing to take a chance on me..he was there while it was all happening and knew what I dealt with as a child..
its hard to creep up out of the gutter even if nothing like that hit you..but after that.. the only way I could get anything was work myself half to death and make it myself….
Now… was that a curse..or…was that a blessing…if none of this had ever happened.. I would probably be just like the vast majority and not see it..instead ..after my best and worst Xmas ..when the most amazing thing happened I dropped to my knees in tears..looking at the pine branch in an old coffee can and thanking god for sending the needed help..at that time I swore I would pass it along when he put someone in front of me.. and I think I have.. there’s only a few failures and it was children that was to scared to talk..
lol..I can’t even tell you how many..

yes it is…twenty to fifty times the cost..yet if you dont have an insurance card or the cash to pay up front at an elevated assumed price..that’s where they send you..
even there..a friend of the daughters went in she had been like most.. driven off the insurance..long story a common thing they do.. she was diagnosed.. when she asked when do we start treatments the doctor said..the moment you drop fifty grand on the table..her sister took out a second mortgage ..which is what I should have done with my teeth.. the old people said you should go down to southern Texas or Arizona like they do to get it done at a froction.. a friend that worked as a professor in gwu in Georgetown had to go to Brazil where the doctor working at the university hospital in Georgetown had a clinic..the system is broken beyond compare..if we had bought simple savings bonds for the inflated catastrophic policy for my wife..we would have just shy a million bucks..yet you have to fight the insurance companies to cover or they force you off the policy..my pet peeve..
I love my coffee.. I like mine a touch stronger so I use k cups..since I grind my own beans I usually buy the filters to sit in the k cup attachment.. wow… did that price go up…

My dear family,and friends,
As Christmas comes around again, I find myself thinking less about the gifts under the tree and more about the gifts we give each other every day — the ones that don’t come wrapped, but are felt in the heart.
I want to share a few things with you, not as lessons, but as pieces of the life I’ve lived and the love I’ve known.
I grew up watching two people — your great?grandparents — who never raised their voices at each other. They didn’t argue; they discussed. They saved the hard conversations for their evening walk, hand in hand, where the world was quiet and they could face life together. That simple routine taught me more about love than any book ever could.
They never used intimacy as a weapon or a bargaining chip. It was a gift of self, freely given, never withheld. Their home was built on respect, shared purpose, and the belief that love is something you do, not something you say.
Some of my most precious memories are of them sitting on the couch together, or gathered around the kitchen table talking about the day. Nothing fancy — just the warmth of people who cared for each other deeply.
As you walk your own paths, I hope you carry a few things with you:
Lead with compassion. You never know the weight someone else is carrying.
Talk to each other. Keep your communication open, honest, and kind.
Walk the same direction. A relationship is a partnership — two people choosing the same path.
Laugh often. Laughter is glue. It holds families together.
Give hugs freely. A hug says, “You matter to me.” Never let the people you love wonder how you feel.
Be the blind man. Don’t judge anyone by their clothes, their skin, their size, or their mistakes. Look at their heart.
Treasure the simple things. Faith, family, friends — these are the real riches of life.
If there’s one thing I want each of you to know, it’s this: You are important to me. Every single one of you.
I give hugs because I want you to feel that truth, not just hear it. I never want any of you to say, “I wish I had one more moment.” I want you to know — right now — that you are loved, valued, and carried in my heart every day.
This Christmas, remember that the greatest gifts we give each other are compassion, patience, laughter, and time. These are the things that build a family, and these are the things that last.
My gifts are meager in form but full in meaning. They carry the mission of Jesus Christ and the memory of the original Mormons who struggled across the country, depending on each other when numbers and ledgers could not sustain them. At Christmas, I give a simple kitchen utensil, placed where the family gathers around the table. It is not decoration but a reminder that love shines brightest in the everyday places where we share meals, laughter, and stories. I also give the gift of a light, to symbolize the call to be a light unto others. And I honor the dandelion — a plant often dismissed as a weed, yet one of the noblest, offering humanity a thousand gifts from its roots to its bright yellow flowers. In a season filled with glitter and gifts, these small touches remind me that true celebration is found in family love and in carrying Christ’s light into the lives of those around us.
With all my love,
I actually love my microwave !!..Lol a molecular spin machine lol lol
different than ultrasonic cavitation..
I refused to use it for leftovers or heating coffee for a couple years..now I rarely nuke coffee..I love nitro brew coffee…if you love pour over coffee.. this is the unit to get..

West Virginia Introduces Bill To Sell Machine Guns To American Citizens
State Legislators in West Virginia have just introduced a bill, authored by Gun Owners of America, that would authorize the State to sell machineguns to citizens.
Currently, newly manufactured machineguns are banned for civilian ownership thanks to an amendment slipped into the 1986 Firearm Owners Protection Act.
Well, we at Gun Owners of America had a thought. What if the States wanted to sell machineguns to their citizens—that is, what if they were to engage in a “transfer … by … a State”?

Lessee, got kin in Beckley, ran into Marylou Retton the last time I was in Charleston, and the State will pay me $20k to relocate to Morgantown or the Shenandoah Valley……………… tempting.
Ray,
Why are switchblade knives illegal?
https://www.google.com/m?q=Why+are+switchblade+knives+illegal%3FReply&client=ms-opera-mobile&channel=new&espv=1#lfId=ChxjMe
I believe that the knife became a symbol of gang violence that was glorified in Hollywood’s films, but in the end its not a realistic threat . The real reasons are a mix of fear, media influence, and old assumptions about public safety — not the mechanics of the knife itself these fears are what’s driving the legislators to outlaw guns..its not the gun thats evil but the idiot behind it.. I don’t fear anyone carrying one legally..like any tool there’s a safe proper way to use it..and an improper way….. what i read was because of the media’s glorification of it as a weapon of choice the fear of this potential threat led to the 1958 U.S. Federal Switchblade Act, at least that’s what I believe is the reason
