Short for Adaptive Non-Linear Order-Metric Algorithm. Which does what?
Reflects the intent to quantify how “ordered” or “coherent” market movement is while accepting that behavior is non-linear and adaptive to regime shifts.
Somewhere in here, you’re likely to get confused. But let me line up events for you.
In our Tuesday Peoplenomics we began teaching readers how they can build their very-own apps to do market chores.
Come this next Wednesday, we will explain how to download Python and use AI to do the grunt work of programming. AI. All you’ll need to do is copy source, paste into Python locally and run.
OK, useful to have data files, too but we’ll go through all that.
But the key thing from last week was explaining that if you’re going to program an app, you need some secret sauce. So this morning ANLOMA is one no-longer secret.
A couple of headlines but in the ChartPack today, some mighty interesting things to ponder about how the ontology works. Behind the scenes.

Epiphany
3) a sudden insight or intuitive understanding.
Yerp – had one of them this week..while driving to cnty park where my Russles’ go “Walkies!” . One day earlier a local Gal (elderly) was killed by a falling tree, on Monday this week. No Shitski. Chesco county parks.
We did not go out for “walkies” that day, as was very windy & rainy. Her untimely demise forced me to think in “different light”, it was somewhere in that thinking process that it hit me, like a mini bolt of lightening to Heart-Mind.
I had allowed some depressive thinking into my Head as result of ALL the Negative Scheisse , not only still going on, but seems moar and moar dark scheisse keeps coming out/coming into the light, but NO PUNISHMENTs, not even slaps on the wrist, in fact some seem to be getting rewards?
So I changed my “scheisse” in the moment, and am now in a place of Celebration and Rejoicing. The truth of the matter is, Light is increasingly shining on the Sons& Daughters of Darkness, and all their horrific dark deeds/works.
Dark 2 Light means DISCLOSURE, funny how “they” are acting now they be forced out into Sunlight. Remind of big giant blind fat Rats that come out of underground in Philly, when underground demolitions are going off.
Some of these “leaders” dont look good “NRGetically”, their “colors” bely their health conditions. Dont care how many organ transplants these subhumans get, usually does not end well. For Wine drinkers, this will mean switching to White from https://www.youtube.com/shorts/h_4KhiQJE8A?feature=share
Brain Boostering the BCP way;
Peptide therapy to the rescue home gamers..
Semax – nasal spray and Selank- nasal spray – both cognitive and neurological peptides, anxiolytic peptide – both developed and approved as medication in Russia.
Cerebrolysin- complex mixture of amino acids and peptide fragments.
Dihexa -cognitive and neurological peptide, hepatocyte growth factor (HGF) mimetic. Developed at Washington State Univ as potent cognitive enhancer. Maybe beneficial for Old Farts.
P21 – cognitive and neurological peptide, cerebrolysin derivitive = better action.
Ranked -overall cognitive enhancement; 1) Dihexa 2) P21 3) Cerebrolysin 4)Semax 5) Selank (most balanced with anxiolytic effects)
Ranked -side effects/safety profiles; 1) Selank (best tolerated) 2) Semax 3) P21 4)Cerebrolysin 5)Dihexa (least data available).
Please tell me, whats been crossing Ure Blood/Brain barrier lately ?
George,
Are you quite certain about the end of daylight savings time ending this weekend? I believe that it is scheduled for November 2.
Nancy this is tyerribly embarrassing ! You are right – I revised it out,…(looks forlorn)
Daylight savings time was originally pitched as a way to conserve energy and align daylight hours with working hours before electric lights and modern equipment. But let’s be honest.. it’s a trick of the clock, not a change in time. We’re shifting numbers, not sunlight. And in today’s world, with smart tech and flexible schedules, it’s more disruption than benefit.
It’s time to retire this relic in my opinion. Let the sun rise when it rises, and let people live without the twice-a-year jet lag.
Yep, the latest Trump action to help convicted felon Santos is it for me …….. as you said George, “pure BS” ……… we’re cooked (from markets to wars and all in between), as there’s nothing that can be done, it will go on and on and on, both Party’s, until it ends ………….. I fall back to the classic line in “Meatballs” …….. It just doesn’t matter

“new round of economic talks next week”
Yesterday I paid Big Nursery a visit for lawn fertilizer. Big Fertilizer has me paying $1.00 /lb. There I noticed ask on some of the pre-lit Xmas trees are over $1,000 and it looked like they’re moving. People are flush and supporting Big Christmas with ease.
$AMZN reported the recent Prime Day sale was spectacular.
“During Amazon’s second Prime Day, Oct. 7–8, consumers spent $9.1 billion across US retailers, a jump of 7.3% YoY, and discounts hit 18% off listed prices.”
Trump was right. The golden era is here!
is your mail service working in america?

Post Office is the Grinch of Christmas this year.
(CNN) – Sending some things in the mail will soon cost a little more.
Starting next week, the United States Postal Service is boosting its prices for the 2025 holiday season.
Officials say these adjustments are needed to help deal with the extra handling expenses that come during this busier-than-usual time of year.
Priority mail express, priority mail, ground advantage and parcel select will all be affected.
The holiday pricing will expire on January 18.

The pre-departure list grows shorter. Clean the speedo impeller, go aloft to inspect the rig, wd-40 the connection for the masthead instruments, take water, town shop for fun foods, scrub the bottom for SPEED enhancement, fit the windvane rudder and air portion, test autopilot, clean and organize down below, get propane, test EPIRB, rig persson overboard gear, build new lures/leader/handlines, defrost tiny fridge, be rested, quiet the mind.
Two weeks at sea is coming soon.
Sea mounts, reefs, islands, and mother ocean all along the way.
That’s my idea of having nothing to do rather than doing nothing.
Stiks
I was raised a San Francisco Giants fan, and I would rather watch on TV than go to games in person, went to one last year with the kids, and paid $75 bucks for parking to keep the car safe.
I have been rooting for the Mariners, Toronto Blue Jays are tough, either one will give the Dodgers a better fight than the Brewers did. The Dodgers have won so many in a row they will need to lose for probabilities sake, baseball’s streaky like that.
Thank you for your service and website.
Thanks Tim – I miss thast great Italian joint in So SF – but life rolls along…
Spoken like a Giants fan. Always against my Dodgers.
Re: TV vs live: I went to an As game earlier this year (I live near Sacramento). Our seats were above third, & my vision is now so bad, I could not tell if the batter was a lefty or a righty. It’s TV games for me from now on, but I still love the game.
Out of all the sports teams out there, there’s only one I truly enjoy watching — the Seattle Seahawks. (Well, besides any team the grandkids are on — that’s a given.) Why the Seahawks? Win or lose, they play hard. But more than that, they play honorably. Every time they knock an opponent down, out goes the hand — a quiet offer… It’s just a game. Let me help you up. Most don’t take it, but that’s not the point. The offer is there. That’s sportsmanship. That’s character. In a world obsessed with winning, I’ll take the team that remembers dignity. That’s the kind of legacy I want my grandkids to see — and live.
So … reading about the problem loans that Zions Bancorp and Western Alliance made that upset the market this past week. The loss numbers by themselves didn’t imo justify the amount of their sell off … BUT!! …
…. BUT… the Banks Loan Origination procedures were non-existent wrt what should be done when originating real estate loans.
That lack of the banks doing NO verification of the collateral that they thought they were receiving (didn’t even check the records to see who owned the properties and who already had secured loans against the properties as noted by government filings) raises real questions as to the rest of their Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolios!!
Sheesh … If ANY attorney would be that slipshod wrt a Real Estate transaction they would have to quickly be contacting their Malpractice Carrier since their Malpractice Carrier would be looking at paying out damages at the full limits of the policy they wrote.
The entire story reeks of a repeat of the early indications of loan origination problems for the mortgage lending industry back in 2006 (when the loan problems that later cratered the market first started showing up).
How many other banks are being that slipshod with their loan originations? Is this level of incompetence restricted to just those two banks … or is this an indication of an industry wide problem?
The multi hypothecation of the used vehicle loans that came out a couple of weeks before are another indication of very slip shod lending standards with NO verification of that collateral by the banks for those loans happening either (Billion here, billion there, and soon you are talking about real loan losses /write offs)
From the outside it looks to me like in the days of No Cost Money (thanks to Greenspan) banks stopped doing much of their Due Diligence wrt the loans they were making. As one banker put it to me many years ago when I asked him about he was blunt and told me that in good times the guys upstairs are just screaming at you to make loans … as fast and as many as you can … sometimes calling daily to push you to loan loan loan, so Due Diligence gets short circuited since it delays making the loans and delays making as many loans as the C Suite people want on your monthly performance report.
IMO what we are seeing is that hidden behind the curtain are LOTS of Bad Loans, loans that were made across the entire banking industry. Crooks, fraudsters, and just plain greedy people are ALWAYS trying to get money … so if you stop doing Due Diligence they will figure out a way to get money from you.
Enough of a systemic problem to create another 2008? The jury is out on that, but it isn’t looking too good from the outside.
What caused the housing bubble?

Folks,
The Ukrainian-born, billionaire head of sovereign wealth fund RDIF (Russian Direct Investment Fund), Kirill Dmitriev, talks up a Musk built American-Russian tunnel under the Bering Strait on Telegram. He figures onward railroad connections to China make good sense.
Mr. Dmitriev and his wife allegedly have vacationed with the wealthy, youngest acrobatic dancing daughter of President Putin. As chance would have it, the surname of her ballet dancer second husband is Zelensky. His storied career has included roles such as the tragic Prince Siegfried in Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”.
Superman is here!
“A mysterious object was found burning in the remote Australian Outback, prompting a significant response from multiple agencies. Discovered smoldering near a mining site, initial assessments suggest it might be debris fallen from space, with a carbon fiber construction. The Australian Transport Safety Bureau confirmed that it is not part of a commercial aircraft. “
Think that mysterious burning object in remote outback has got the be the remnants of Len Fromundas’ exploded Noggin. Prolly detonated just as his latest anti American outburst came spewing out Meatpie-hole.
