America SNAPS, Ego Traps, and We’ve Got the Blue Jay Blues

TL;DR:    America is about to SNAP — budgets, benefits, tempers, and reality all fraying at once while markets throw a last-call party. Prep quietly, laugh loudly, and don’t mistake the confetti for stability.

Introit:* Call this “Mark Frederickson Day”

[* Introit refers to the opening hymn, psalm, or antiphon sung or recited at the beginning of a Christian worship service, particularly in the Roman Catholic Mass or Anglican liturgy. It sets the tone for the service and often includes a scriptural verse. The term comes from Latin “introitus,” meaning “entrance,” symbolizing the priest’s approach to the altar. In broader contexts, it can mean any introductory section, like in music or literature- or today’s report.]

What???!!!  You mean you don’t know who that is?  OMG – are you Mad?

Look here: Mark Fredrickson – Official Website.  He was a showcase artist for Mad Magazine for years and years.  Say, I bet you’ve never heard of Airbrush Action magazine, either.  The magazine is published on a bimonthly basis and has its headquarters in Lakewood, New Jersey[1] Remembered for it hot times at the Hindenburg. Anyway, it annually hosts the Vargas Awards, named after Alberto Vargas, a pioneer of airbrush art.

Please, God, tell me you know who Vargas is?  The Vargas Girls from Playboy back in the day?  Why Getty Images has 171 images for license.  (Since we’re too cheap, but you’ll want a peep, here’s a link to make you think.) 171 Vargas Pin Up Stock Photos, High-Res Pictures, and Images – Getty Images.

So what?”

Listen – when you’ve been around newsrooms as long as I have, you appreciate that certain days come along that scream visuals.  That’s what Frederickson nailed.  And, though we own a couple of air brushes, we know enough to ’em keep holstered and farmed out to the Other Intelligence that roams the Earth now.

Yeah…the love-it, hate-it fear-it online intelligence.  The one my new book Mind Amplifiers is all about.  (Smooth pitch, huh?)

The Day America SNAPS

Democrats and Republican are blaming each other for what’s likely to go down before prime time.

The Dims can’t sign onto a simple continuation bill.  And the R’s, though rightly pointing out the flawed support dims have from non-progress elements of American society, are still getting weak in the knees.

Part of the reason?  Dims have a lock on the narrative, so as we read how Stalemate on government shutdown set to drag into sixth week | AP News, the real headline is about how “Trump says he ‘won’t be extorted’ by Democrats, shuns negotiations as shutdown drags on.”

That frames it as “Trump’s doing it and is to blame.”  But, not so fast. We keep going back to the “clean extension” which failed.

What’s lost? What’s on the Dimocrat shopping list is COVID subsidies that were renewed previously.  We all know how addictive free money is, right?  This is so obvious that even Bill Maher is calling it out: Bill Maher Says Democrats Pulled ‘Bait-and-Switch’ for Their Shutdown Narrative – WokeSpy.  Still, we’ve come to expect the worst from the pro Klan party back when…

Nevertheless, the Usual Suspects – the ones touting equality for all except at Budget Time – are coming out of the woodwork.  Everyone who’s “special” wants a bigger slice of pie when the checkbook is out.

Trump for his part should have been able to find a better way to checkmate the left.  Still, while A judge says the Trump administration has to fund SNAP. What happens next rolls out with the Wheaties today, we’re catching the scent of “Check’s in the Mail!” coming from the Trump choir. Treasury Secretary Bessent says SNAP food benefits could restart by Wednesday.

Sure…and those “early Christmas sales” could all be pulled-back, too.  But, wer wouldn’t bet on it.

We’re not even to the Monday Sermon, yet.  What we will point to is the SNAP of America – where a country buy Ozempic by the truck load is arguing about food subsidies.

What planet did you say this was, again?

Came in through the Portland Portal of Craziness?  Did’ja notice that Judge blocks Trump National Guard deployment to Portland, citing lack of justification?  What makes this particularly defiant of orbital dynamics is that the judge is a Trump appointee.

So, as we conclude this morning’s call to war ships, American’s SNAP’in is what’s be happ’nin.

A Word to War Shippers

‘Let’s roll first with Chinese Navy Outnumbers US and Allied Ships in Disputed Waters. Tariffs were set to lighten mid-week.  Want to re-calc the odds, bubba?

Abnother group of war shippers seen as Russian coast guard boat flying Wagner flag spotted near Estonia.

But the high seas drug runs? War powers law does not apply to Trump’s boat strikes, administration says – The Boston Globe.  Which is notable as The Globe is not exactly a beachhead of conservative thinking.

Market Blowing Higher

Yeah – here we go, again.

Dow futures were +41 when I checked.

The S&P looked about +28

But the real action?  Where we told you all that “free money” from the Fed would seep?  NASDAQ is set to pop +150 at the open.

All while America SNAPs.  (Is this a great country, or what?)

Cereally?  Gold is back over $4,000 and Silver is nuzzling the $50 mark, best it can.

Yet Bitcoin is still under $108,000 as the digital storytellers try to come up with a plausible scam to swap-out some kind of “made-up money” for the formerly dependable U.S. Dollar.  Which – facts be told – is a Federal Reserve Note which has the same intrinsic value as a crypto.  But at least maybe a useful BTU, or something, from the paper combustion…

If you were going to pick a day to “Quit drinking and turn your life around”?  This may not be it.

Asylum Rounds

And bring Nurse Ratched* along with you. (* You forgot? “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest? Aye, these kids, today!)

Out in the Wards – of NYC: (a nuttier place is hard to find):  6 things to watch in NYC mayor’s race between Mamdani, Cuomo and Sliwa.  Yes sir, this is like one of those silent movies where the train wreck is about to happen and you just can’t take your eyes off it.

Tesla’s semi-bulletproof Cyber truck has found its market: Las Vegas police hit the streets in the first-ever Tesla Cybertruck patrol fleet.

The “high cost  of free” comes into focus when you think through In U.S. First, New Mexico Launches Free Child Care for All.  Free as in $600-million a year to taxpayers?  Wait – isn’t this a dimocrat stronghold?

Key Indicators:

  • State Government Control: New Mexico has a Democratic trifecta, meaning Democrats control the governorship and majorities in both chambers of the state legislature (State Senate: 26-16 Democrat; State House: 44-26 Democrat).
  • Federal Representation: Both U.S. Senators are Democrats, and all three U.S. House seats are held by Democrats.
  • Presidential Voting History: The state has voted Democrat in every presidential election since 2008, including 2024 when Kamala Harris won with about 52% of the vote over Donald Trump. Prior to that, it was more of a swing state (e.g., voting for George W. Bush in 2004).

Cereally? A let’s have a drink and talk about it” state?

MTG seems to have gotten something right: Let’s have one as MTG says – but also a registry for those (like MTG?) who were influenced by the Deep State in the past.  As you know, we’re huge fans of equality and total disclosure.  So our tip: don’t narrow this to Israel – let’s go with Russia, China and any other foreign power and their spynets, shall we?

Around the Ranch: Blue Jay Blues

Don’t let the market rally (early) today fool you. America’s got some serious economic problems to address. For one we have next month’s Fed Meeting where the Free Money department will be generating still more paper for the coming bonfire of the equities.

Still, the Dodgers win in the Series isn’t all bad. Just mostly.

Yeah, you heard that right—Shohei Ohtani and the boys in blue pulled off a repeat, edging out the Toronto Blue Jays in a nail-biting Game 7 thriller that went to extra innings. The final out came on a dramatic strikeout, and Dodger Stadium erupted like a volcano of champagne and confetti.

But spare a thought for those poor Blue Jays; they’ve got the blues alright, flying back north with nothing but a participation trophy and a long winter of “what ifs.” Toronto put up a helluva fight—Bo Bichette’s grand slam in Game 4 nearly turned the tide—but in the end, LA’s star-studded lineup proved too much. It’s the Dodgers’ ninth title overall and their first back-to-back since… well, ever in franchise history. Congrats to the West Coast dynasty, I suppose, but let’s not pretend this masks the bigger picture:

While billionaires celebrate with caviar and private jets, the rest of us are dodging economic curve balls that make a knuckle ball look straight.

Now, back to that market rally fooling folks this morning. Sure, the S&P 500 ticked up 0.41% Friday to close at 6868, with futures pointing to more gains—Dow up a smidge, Nasdaq futures popping 0.4%. Wall Street’s cheering like they just hit a walk-off homer, buoyed by one year since Trump’s re-election and a surge in stocks and bonds. But zoom out, and it’s a different ballgame.

The ongoing government shutdown—now dragging into its 33rd day—is acting like a lead weight on the economy, stalling everything from SNAP benefits to federal paychecks. Millions are going hungry while the fat cats on the trading floor pop corks over Palantir earnings and private reports that scream “all clear.” It’s the ultimate disconnect: Markets at all-time highs, yet hiring’s slowing sharper than a sinker, unemployment’s creeping up (forecast to average 4.2% this year, heading toward 5% by 2027), and that $4.8 trillion commercial real estate debt bomb is ticking louder with borrowing costs stuck high.

The Fed still in the business of printing greenbacks to keep this house of cards standing. Inflation might be “tamed” on paper, but ask anyone at the grocery store—prices ain’t coming down, and with Europe stagnating and Germany’s engine sputtering, global headwinds are blowing our way. The shutdown’s exacerbating it all, turning a slowdown into a potential stall. We’ve got weaker immigration crimping GDP growth, democrats drove the play on synthetic growth into the ditch. Jobs reports flashing red, and recession risks hovering like a rain delay.

It’s like the Dodgers’ win: Flashy on the surface, but underneath? Injuries piled up (remember Ohtani’s shoulder scare?), bullpen blew leads, and they barely scraped by.

Same with the economy—resilient, sure, but we live one bad pitch (say, a debt ceiling fiasco or fentanyl-fueled border mess) and it’s game over. New Mexico’s holding blue, but even strongholds feel the pinch with poverty and economic inequality biting hard.

As we nurse our post-Series hangovers, let’s not get too high on that early market pop. Prep your urban survival kits—stock up on canned goods, not just stocks. Learn to garden and catch water. The bonfire’s coming, and it won’t be pretty.

We’re keeping one eye on the ranch and the other on the horizon. Smoke will be along.  Those equities are highly combustible.

To steal a line from The Bitcoin Nazi, this weekend was 10 points for Gryffindorf! And makes about as much sense.

Monday’s Benediction: Drop by tomorrow morning for another lesson in how to piss people off, helpfully.

  1. Ure graphics tells me which side of the most important issues you are on.
From what I gather, the amount of SNAP emergency funds which will be accessible in November will be much less than the normal monthly dole. This means that even with emergency fund disbursement, the SNAP account balances will be much less than normal. Also, school lunch program funding is questionable. No heroes, except maybe two Federal judges.

    • If you were to infer from graphic 2 that I am appalled at the growing gap between the uber and the under, well, yeah…it’s gone quite cwazy wabbit

      • you know who this hurts the most financially dont you. the removal of snap benifits?

Walmart. 80% of Snap Benifits go to Walmart. that is the poor people spend thier government money for food. they also buy their TP, laundry soap etc etc there and everything else when they use their SNAP benifits.

        Walmart.

i was wondering if this whole shit and deal “Government shut down” has to secretly do with a private Battle with Walmart. who gets 99% of their shit from China.

of course, we all know this is an economic war. tarrifs are only one arm of the ecomomic war. we call call tarrifs The Airforce.

there is still the Army, the Navy, The Marines and special forces and Civilian Side Military Sealift Command the 4th arm of the US Military divisions in an Economic War.

could this whole Government Shut down have to do with Getting Walmart to stop buying so much shit from China and start selling more American Made Products?????

you bet your sweet ass it could.

**** Walmart is the back door, US tax payer subsidised funding that fuels the Chinese Manufacturing Machine.

we give Walmart Billions upon Billions US Taxe Money in the form of Snap Benifits.

that is how Walmart became so Wealthy. same with Elon and many others. they got it all from Government Handouts.

    • Not to be obvious but Billionaire corporations like Walmart don’t pay so-called living wages. These corporations rely on taxpayer goodies to pick-up the slack. The very same corporations that sell the foodies which go up in price based on SNAP increases. It’s a feedback loop.

It’s hard to fault a shoplifter when $WMT robs everyone.

“Walmart’s profit for the second quarter of fiscal year 2026 was $7.026 billion in net income. This represented a significant increase of 56.1% compared to the same quarter in the previous year. ”

      Taxpayer abuse is everywhere.

“thousands of Amazon fulfillment workers relied on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits because the pay wasn’t a living wage”

  2. This 12 minute interview with Brandon Tseng, president of Shield AI is worth a watch.

The future of AI in warfare as well as Global GDP impact over the next 25 years compared to last 25 years impact of the internet (about 40x greater). Lines up with something George Ure has been predicting. Also, 180 lb drones taking out multi-million dollar warfare systems.

    Some mind blowing stuff.

  3. Prognosticating my way 2 the future..

the view be hazed and greasy like, but focus seems to be strengthening..slowly at first – we be there now, then all of a sudden = blink of an eye.

That my good citizens is desired Goal. We as society might actually survive a slow burn down.

But a fast burn down ?!?!?!? – thats just the ticket 2 get Us DISCLOSED .
Thats the ticket- and thats the plan/script.

On top of zat, word is leeking from “Spirit world” that the Soul Recycle machines (Memory Wiperz) will be blocked/jammed/rendered inoperable this time around/thru the Bardo.
Always urging the Peeps to work on Ure Qi & Karma “bank” balances for years now – so you dont have to fret price increases on the Styx River Boat Ride..its an S ticket, for Spirit, and they aint cheap – ya gotz do actual work (virtue cultivation) to earn one or more..
Moar tickets, moar rides..otherwise you might get tossed in steerage..

“how to piss people off, helpfully.” – this has been my # 1 job in Family.
They (kids) come to me for “cold, hard truth” that no one wants hear, but know for their own good its what they need to do. My Son would call me up and ask me to talk him out of going to certain parties and the like.

Just happened again this this month. The immediate reactions ? KABOOM!

My 35 yr old Daughter and SiL have cut us off – “Darn”, still got plenty access to GrandDaughter, so am in wait an see mode – how long can they handle the PRESSURE ?

    * Alcohol is a dark entity once gains control of victim. I have fought my own battle (s) with it, and eventually won(grateful 4 that), as well as fighting that monster in a Best Friend and older Sibling. Best friends wife kicked that monster to the curb with an ultimatum, me or the booze. I took care of my older sister for last 4years of her life – apartment, meals, healthcare, SSIbennies and she still blew her Esophagus out one night after another binge session. So yeah that was a bloody mess, that I will never forget. It further fueled my Hatred 4 Alcoholism.
Unfortunately for my SiL – he is not strong enough..I am, and promise to slay this monster.

    * looking for resolution to current worldwide crisis (yes, wordwide) by end of March. Really dont wish to return stateside to open Warfare, battlefields and what notz, in fact if that is situation at the time, will hunker down a little longer with my Kekchi brother & sisters..the only ones the Mennonite farmers will hire to work for em.

Taking Nova +8.5 and Over 153.5 versus #8 BYU tonight in college basketball tipoff. No worries – what happens in vegas, stays in vegas.

    • Amen bro! I’m watching a dear friend go down that drain, though she appears to be doing OK from a casual glance. That’s because she has a stable job and only imbibes a few times a week, though she has no idea how to think out of the box and is pushing me away because I tell the truth as I see it, regardless of her desires otherwise. Sad, just sad. Her stock of canned goods is somewhere between zero and five.

    • From Astrologer Jessica Adams:
‘I do know some cunning financial astrologers who deliberately use the cycle to buy cheap shares then rapidly re-sell at a huge profit. Or, they buy Bitcoin at a bargain price, when it’s crashed, and re-sell later.

      Thru Dec 11th:
The risk of a sharemarket crash is extremely high. Not only do we have Mercury Retrograde with all his rescheduling, product recall, price retraction and business renegotiation – there’s something else too.’

  4. New Mexico is a twisted state as the dim’s tread a careful path to try not to kill the money makers in the state even though they are against them. Between the military bases and Los Alamo, Sandia Labs etc. etc. and the huge Oil and gas industry the dim’s launched there agenda to keep the state blue by legalizing Mary-Jane which is expected to almost top 1 billion this year in sales and keeps the illegal pop and all their friends voting for dimwits. All (or most) outlying areas are all red but the heavy pop big cities control the vote. very sickening to witness, MAYBE one day that will change. LOL

    • Agreed. It’s similar to NY in that way, but at least we have climate on our side. They can make far more laws than they can remember, much less enforce. I still love the place for the mountains and the climate. I can visit the cities, but I can be out of them in five minutes, unlike NY. Changing the establishment and getting rid of Keller seem insurmountable for now. MLG has almost run her course, but what’s being groomed to replace her and what further damage can she inflict before she goes?

    • I grew up in Roswell, NM. When I joined the Navy in 61, Roswell was the second largest city in the state, with a solid red population that included all the people from Walker AFB, the largest SAC base west of the Mississippi.
In 64, Roswell (Chavis Co.) voted solidly for Barry Goldwater, in spite of a threat by the Dem State Senator to kill Walker if they did.
In less than 6 months after the election, Walker was closed, taking the 5000+ military people, and their dependents away from the town.
When I returned in 65, I found a dead city, with no opportunities for me to build a civilian life. I left and have never returned to a town the Dems killed to consolidate their absolute power in the state.
The current conditions in the state show nothing has changed.
Unfortunately, I’ve retired in California to be close to most of my grandkids, and its just a bad, or worse.

    • Screwdrivers are a thing of past as well. what with alcohol use dropping off with the youngsters..oh wait, yeah yeah I get it now.

Screwdrivers -still, they are no longer needed, as we have Driverless technology now like Waymo.

Robots be driving the prison busses now..duh-ooh!

  5. George, you loose some journalistic credibility when you report the end of the World Series incorrectly. The game ended in a fantastic double play. And the Blue Jays were already north; the game was in Toronto.

    • I have said repeatedly I don’t follow sports. In additional, “journalism” in sports is like objectivity in the NY times. Some think so, but… And then there’s Cities in Northern Ontario
      Greater Sudbury
      Thunder Bay
      Sault Ste. Marie
      North Bay
      Timmins
      Kenora
Cities in other parts of Canada
Quebec: Quebec City and Montreal are north of Toronto.
Territories: Cities in the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut are all at higher latitudes than Toronto.
      Whitehorse (Yukon)
      Yellowknife (Northwest Territories)
      Iqaluit (Nunavut)
That’s journalistic license. ()OK, my sports license expired 45 years ago…)
Still, it was a fantastic double play ONLY is you’re a dodgers fan… (which, I;’m guessing, you may be?)
It’s only a game. Kinda like the market…where money’s the scorecard and the poor can wait in the lobby.

      • What happens when the circus’ s and the sports close down, what will the dimwits do? Do they think the players would do their thing for fun, not money? No , they will revert back to ghetto shit , robbing and killing.

        • sniff sniff – is that racism Im smelling all over this post ? Awesome, G-Pops must have lowered his standards..again. Whats next BCP calling out EVIL doers israhell ?

How about dem dirty Nips on the Dodgers ? Ya just know those yellow bellied cowards cant be trusted either..

    • The only place I heard that we even had a “world series” this year is on this site. Who cares? A bunch of grown men playing with their sticks and balls, running all over the place, and a bunch of morons wasting their lives watching them and stuffing hot dogs down their throats while drinking swill. The most insane part is that people actually pay money to do those things!

      People are weird.

  6. permashort so easy . creeps , fascists, a broken country of broken people , no money . just credit from the gangster mob . big capo in demolished house aka white house .

    • Dude,

Whole world be getting spitroasted right now.

Consider hypersonic missile systems compact enough to be hidden in a 40 foot container ?!

No missile defense system in the world can defend against hypersonics launched at You from withinside Ure own borders. Ruskies aint only ones with”club k” types systems sprawled out out all over the globe. Hell for all we know the ‘Seattle Mariner” is going to work just such a ship..one disguised as a Container Ship, but is actually packing neutron nukes.. If only we had such capabilities..

? hmmmm wonder what they have been spending all those trillions of defense dollars on ?

    • re: a Benediction
      feat: Mr. Reuben Tishkoff

      Folks,
Prepare your chips and dip! A “Daily Mail” reporter has published a third installment as rebuttal in a growing slings and arrows debate between Hollywood actor Mr. George Clooney and former First Son Mr. Hunter Biden. Mr. Clooney is pictured wearing a pair of Reuben Tishkoff-like glasses after reiterating yesterday on CBS television about his July 2024 “NY Times” op-ed as to the then-competency of President Biden. The latter is depicted by the “Daily Mail” wearing a Camp David “Presidential Retreat” jacket. His accompanying First Son opted for a NASA “lunar bomber” jacket whose likeness can still be found online today for $295.

As chance would have it, the parent colossus to CBS appears to be in the midst of a major industry merger. Allegedly legal actions between CBS and #47 may be soon resolved amicably? Allegedly soldier(s) loyal to #47 have onboarded with the CBS parent?

Let’s rejoin Mr. Ruben Tishkoff at the following Youtube link for brunch alfresco in Vegas:

  7. “Free Child Care for All”

Moms and dads will be working all those great jobs in the shiny new factories which will pay for ,gov childcare easily. Tax rolls are ready to supernova. Be prepared. Uncle Don is just running a little behind on the factory creation… and back-filling the now shuddered auto factories. Hang on…. Q126 for sure.

  8. yep bit of bond and dollar destruction to hold it all together. whole mission of trump is to destroy USD and use the euro

  9. dumping bonds and gold now to buy the nasdaq . aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. lost their dopamine centers. sick need help . all of em

    • Hey I resemble that remark..

As for dumping UST’s, if they were Risk Free-Safe, they wouldnt need Treasury to be biggest (only?) Buyer.

      So dumping UST, Buying Silver/Gold/BTC.

See ya at the finish line, Mate.

  10. George.. last week you had an article on getting around all OS with a common wordprocessor and spreadsheet.. i did load planmaker NX on my Mac… it did not have… solver.. that is it’s only weakness.. linear programming – built in is vital to me.. did you find an app with it? thanks.. great work btw.

  11. New project for exterior doors:

    https://www.amazon.com/Barricade-Brackets-Bracket-Security-Reinforcement/dp/B0953WYNLB

They make a lighter pattern one as well, but in the current operating environment, I’m thinking heavier is better.

My slab for the house is about 15″ above grade. There is one door which might be vulnerable to a fast bumper attack from a PU. I wonder where I can get a concrete architectural planter box like they have at the upscale strip malls.

    • Bear in-mind if I were going to burgle you I’d use a chainsaw with a carbide blade, or a cement cutter, and go through a wall.

You can NOT make your castle burglary-proof. You can only make it enough of a PITA to break into, that burglars go elsewhere.

Do what you can, then quitcherstressin. You’ll live longer and enjoy the journey a lot more…

      • Quality of new Homes built in US over last 20 so years is pretty piss poor compared to Homes built in 50’s, 60’s, and 70s. Hell I could cut 3 flooring joists from one OG joist from old 50-70s built house. Copper pipes versus Pex – yeah I love hearing peoples plumbing thru their walls. Electric – electric wiring is/was certainly an improvement.
Chykneesium electronic equipment seems slipping in quality recently with Aluminum wires making up a voltage carrying Cable versus good ole old Copper.

Fed done such a fine job with creating as much INFLATION as possible, I have been saving/hoarding all cables containing Copper for years. Along those same lines of thinking comes Copper pennies, not obama zincs, and Copper/Silver/Nickle sandwich Coins. In world where a digital abstraction is Money, Sandwich Coins have some real Value.

      • Ray- Most home invasions and burglaries use the doors, I am told. The idea is to slow down the attack, and give yourself time to react. And yeah, I’ve had windows breached and carbide or diamond cutters used on the structure, but only after the doors held up to a long intensive assault. Been a while since anyone tried me, but I am anticipating the operating environment to deteriorate this winter. I am not getting overly stressed about it; just anticipating changes.

Seems epstain was there first, and that there was some “art” involved in closing the “deal”.

..something about wealthy zio’s, eastern Urepean Models and sex trafficking quite the trifecta, no?

      They are ALL durty .

  13. There are three schools of thought.
    1] Those that care
    2] Those that don’t care
3]., and those that have no idea what to care about

On any given day I fall within one of those three categories.
    Today? That’s a solid ‘2’.

  14. yeah Dodgers won, congrats to them … but man, how many blown “men in scoring position” with NO outs did the Jays have? …….. amazing to watch them blow it like they did, as a Game 7 at home, they seem to be not playing to win (way to conservative with runners on base), as I saw it ……. oh well, don’t really matter, and life goes on

  15. @ Ray

i considered your thoughts about me paying exactly my entire monthly expenses to the penny twice a month in the form of Federal Income taxes. and if it wasnt trump in office it would be 4 times that amount.

it doesnt make me feel any better. i think it is FUCKIN ABSURD that I pay that much in taxes for working harder to get ahead in life. i think its outlandish that our elected officials, elected to do the will of the people take that much of income to not do shit but blame each other.

its still fuckin bullshit. they are elected to ensure life gets better for us, not tax us to death and do interviews on CNN and Fox to blow more smoke up our ass.

i was thinking this morning about and Im pretty damn sure at some point in the not to distant future, there will be a rekoning of sorts when We The People have had enough of that shit.

im absolutely certain as i sat down and did my monthly budget and had the epiphany that my income tax for a 2 week paycheck was my exact living expenses for a Month, i am not the only one in the United States that has had that ProFound Moment of Clarity.

then got their car and drove by the gas station in Seattle and saw Gas was $4.97 a gallon. for unleaded. then looked around at all the trash and grafiti and homeless people and the Fentynal Zombies on the streets. and thought, oh fuck when people wake up?

they are going to burn this mother fuckin place to the ground and hang all the politicians from every light post.

it is not a matter of IF, just a matter of when.. and we see the see the leaves change noting the fall is upon us, it doesnt take a rocket scientist to read the enviroment.

a 5 year old kindigardener can see and recognise its Fall.

and yet, i was reminded this morning that is harvest season.

Good Will Towards Men is the Harvest of God.

    one and done!

    • I paid $2.29 / gallon for gasoline over the weekend.
Had a close call last week. No NDE, but it was seriously painful and life threatening. I am back telecommuting full time, but won’t be able to lift or exercise for at least another five weeks.
The take-outs you are paying for Medicare and SS will be important later. They will keep food on the table and keep the hospital admins from making a debt slave out off you, next time your luck goes bad.
Enjoy the run of good luck you are on, and try to put at least 15% in savings. You will need more than the union pension to get by on later.

    • “i think it is FUCKIN ABSURD that I pay that much in taxes for working harder to get ahead in life”

It IS, but somebody has to pay the freight for all the indigents & illegals. Unfortunately, the gov’t. can”t tap low income laborers or retirees and the damn’ Dems can’t stop pissing money away, so…

IIRC it was Milton Friedman said: “You can have open borders or you can have a welfare state, but you can not have both…”

    • “then got their car and drove by the gas station in Seattle and saw Gas was $4.97 a gallon. for unleaded. then looked around at all the trash and grafiti and homeless people and the Fentynal Zombies on the streets. and thought, oh fuck when people wake up?”

      I paid $2.16

I never see trash, and rarely see litter.

The only graffiti is on passing train cars.

I can count the local homeless on one hand.

There ARE no fentanyl zombies anywhere,
although the local college and its off-campus housing usually provide one overdose per day for the first several months of school, until the kiddies learn who’s providing “doped” dope and drive those pushers out of the area. Away from the college there’s the occasional meth lab, but away from campus skunk-weed pot smells are infrequent.

The difference? I live in a conservative area.

We have a prominent local statue. When that statue was vandalized back in the “hippie” 1970s, and again about 10 years ago, the perps were given the choice of “clean the statue and pay to have it restored, or spend 14 years in prison.” I assume this also applies to buildings.
Kill somebody while drunk driving, spend seven years in the slam.
Buy or use drugs – wrist-slap — Manufacture or sell drugs – hard time.

      Etcetera.

I’m sure you saw this lifestyle when you were drivin’ that train.

It is the difference between Leftists and Rightists,
      of Democrats and Republicans,
of people who pretend to care and use others’ station or misfortune, and people who honestly DO care,
of people who want to regulate your life and people who let you live as your best “you.”

As long as voters are terminally-stupid, ignorant, or disaffected, and silk-voiced scumbags run for political office, places like Seattle will be turned into shitholes.

      I’m sorry…

  16. 3I/ATLAS is getting brighter.

3I could be an old space ship drifting out there. Like an old oil tanker drifting around the Bermuda Triangle. This would prove space aliens, wouldn’t put us in immediate danger and lacking direct contact could still be brushed off by the Jesus heads as Satan’s propaganda. The spaceship outer shell could be obscured do to some kind of unknown space barnacles being attached all over the outside.

  17. and I am sure that is “the why” of Trump moving Troops into the major cities.

most people live paycheck to paycheck. and when the government is taking double their monthly expences for taxes and shut down, leaving them half their money to pay for gas at $4.97 a gallon to live in a city that is covered in trash, graffiti, homeless people, crime and fentynal zombies…. while the talking heads point fingers… at some point someone is going to come up with the Viral Idea,

“hey! Lets hang them all and start over! lets hang all of them for treason!”

all systems, any system, even economic systems displaying symptons such as these will eventually hit Critical Mass and break at some (SPOF)

best case senerio we go into an economic coma for a few months then recesitate back to life.

worst case senerio the US Economy is burried in a plot somewhere between Sauron White and Son Woo Wynn.

doesnt really matter if it was all by design or happenstance resulting from unintentional general stupidity.

ita going to happen and soon. very soon.

  18. C’mon George! How many times have you read Confessions of an Economic Hit Man?

this is classic chess, how do you get china to stop looking at tiawan like a pervert at a cheer practice?

you cut off the stream of endless Tax Payer cash (called SNAP) that fllows via the Walmart Proxy that fuels it,

    by Government Shut Down.
All the while smiling on the news saying good things about china.

shifting Chinas primary Focus away from Tiawan take out,

    to economic damage control.

Proxy wars are not just fought on battle fields with Missles, Tanks and Ak-47s.

this is a proxy war with the China Manufacturing Machine. which was by design meant to serve the United States Corperate Sector

    not subdue it.

*uhem, I will never share again.

  19. still…..

according to the George Ure Mindset Template which stated on
    November 1, 2025 at 13:32

“Jesus is coming back, too. Maybe about the same time as the Dodgers”

since the Dodgers did come back and Win, we can certainly deduce That Jesus Return is imminent.

that statement George said was like hitting a bullet with a bullet.

like i said, in the end he was right, he didnt know it then, but he does now.

that statement is what grabbed my attention and drew me back to here to see it for myself.

who would have ever thought George Ure would make such a boast about having first hand knowledge about imminent Return of Christ.

even the watchers who watch, eyes spun like reels on a slot machine,

i dont have to be on here to know what is being talked about. the world around me tells me everything about everything all the time. i need only listen.

    Jackpot!

  20. George,

8 months of deteriorating ISM data with even longer declining job opportunities precede equity market valuation decay/crashes.

The Hindenburg ‘omen’ was triggered today.

27 Oct 2023 and 7 April 2025 1st and 2nd fractal daily rhyming ratios of maximum growth and crash decay?

  21. Trump couldn’t fund SNAP but now he can fund SNAP, a little bit. .gov is a con machine or it’s Don, Don the Con?

“Trump Administration Live Updates: White House Says It Will Make Only Partial SNAP Payments This Month”

  22. (“The “high cost of free” comes into focus when you think through In U.S. First, New Mexico Launches Free Child Care for All. Free as in $600-million a year to taxpayers? Wait – isn’t this a dimocrat stronghold?”)

lol lol lol that will mess with some of the insurance companies profit margins.. now everyone knows what I think of insurance companies.. they are great if you don’t need to put in any claims..the healthcare industry could be fixed with the profit margins of the medical insurance companies . around here two of the big insurance industries are pulling their coverage out..seems the hospitals doctors and clinics were insulted by what they offered for services lol..so they are refusing to accept their lame offers.. the big question isn’t if it could be fixed .but would the fix be as devistating as the curse of the lack of responsibility of the insurance industry..I know two of my kids would be hurt..no more free cruises or trips abroad because of great bonuses from high profits..and lucrative company benefits..then all the lawsuits and lawyers doing medical bankruptcy..so would the fix be as bad as the problem.. to get pharmaceutical prices down..just open the borders..for drugs that sell for ten dollars in another country and a thousand here .. opening the borders would lower costs dramatically..

    • Speaking about this.. my friend that needs an oncologist but doesn’t have insurance or the huge deposit for their future cares.. if your rich you get great care.. they been struggling .. anyway the sister got an appointment for a top oncologist in Germany and is sending the tickets.. they will get the care they need.. they had an appointment last week on teams .. sent their chart and xrays..and several appointments around xmas..it really looks positive..
