Fiinding the “Third Intelligence”

Most people are still arguing whether AI is a threat or a tool. They’re already behind.

The real story — the one almost no one sees yet — except you – today – is what happens when human intelligence and machine intelligence stop competing and start synchronizing.

That is not a gadget story. It is not a tech trend. It is the birth of a third mode of intelligence — and with it, a new class divide between those who can operate in this new cognitive plane… and those who can’t.

Last time humanity faced a jump like this, the printing press powered the Enlightenment, literacy reshaped the world, and a small group of early adopters became the first modern elite.

This time, it won’t be literacy.
It will be cognitive alignment across substrates — carbon and silicon.

And the consequences won’t show up first in philosophy journals.

They will show up in wealth, in power, and in market behavior.

If you’ve ever wondered what the economy after this one looks like — the one forming under the feet of governments, central banks, hedge funds, and empires — this week’s Peoplenomics is the blueprint.

Not hype.
Not techno-rapture.
A discipline.
A method.
A field manual for the coming intelligence economy.

Take your time. Read it slowly.

Because the future usually arrives as “too much to read today” right before it becomes obvious to everyone else tomorrow.

Maybe – with a few headlines, 49 pages of PDF on AI futures plus 30+ page of ChartPack isn’t a report – more like a mini-book. But value’s something we’re conscious of, even if most of the world can’t define (or walk) that anymore.

  1. A third intelligence. Interesting, considering the lack of basic intelligence from which it springs

      • …howsabout CAN humans actually handle the responsibility that comes with possession. For the most part , we cant handle too much responsibility at all. Which leads me to believe there are nefarious plans for its use. ( Thanks for not listening to your parents kiddos )

Take something that was an enormous game changer in the past. Some benefitted greatly from the tech. Others let it destroy a generation or two. Let it dumb them down , and while were at it , having it being used as a spy tool against all of us. Cell phones. ( By the way George , thanks for the info on the Bluetooth and tracking a week or so back )

In a way , I hope Avi Loeb is right about 31/Atlas…

  2. “order 4 quarts of whipping cream instead of four gallons of DHA organic milk) can shrug, and declared,”

Circa 1946, in a small apartment in DC, the milkman accidently, or the bottler accidently, left 2 quarts of cream instead of milk, and the family felt very rich for a while.

  3. So AI has trained on all the knowledge in papers and forums….what’s going to happen in 5 years when no one is keeping the stack over flows and other sites like that going? The AI is going to train on it’s own output and other AI output….aka AI INBREEDING. We all know what happens with inbreediing….

  4. AI is a tool but it “IS” the most dangerous tool in the whole universe and it ‘WILL’ be our downfall at some point. WHY? because “MAN” was not smart enough to put adequate controls on “IT”

  5. Shhhhhh

Lets try and keep it down out there will ya – sharpen Ure situational awareness skills, and be quite…so youse all can hear Ure still, small, voice..of Ure higher self – It knows, it always knows, if only we knew how to listen.. or as my mean, nasty ole Mother (adopted) used say, ‘Ferme La Bouche!”

Youse be right on time with Ure 3rd intelligence report from the outer knowns. There is a remote viewer, whose work with Ai is nothing short of REMARKABLE. Dude blew away existing accuracy parameters with Ai enhanced RM work. Dont remember his name off hand at moment – but he and his work were recently highlighted on Farsight.net and can be found there in one of Courtney Browns most recent shows.

“Future is uncertain, and the end is always near”-JM
Thinks he was talking about the future, the future war in ukraine.

All about the Implementation of the Security Council Resolution 2202. All coming to an End – otherwise EU will be directly drawn into War against Slavs that the UK and Germany started in 1933: The Second World War.

Natasha – we must insure a big Russian Buffer Zone, like as big as the Poseidon,in the Donbass.

As USA is corporation, see admiralty law, and income Tax is seen as Franchisee fees, in this light , War = Hostile Takeover.

Why would anyone in EU/USA think they could do a hostile takeover of Mother Russia ???? What kind of darkness does it take to so cloud peoples minds/judgement ?

Natasha – we are Winning bigly!

  6. under the rules of the kingfisher study from japan , smart fellas those japanese, most naz companies will not exist in future . high casualties’ will be Nvidia, tesla and Palantir. they are certainties to not survive or exist

  7. “Now go read “Quest for the third Intelligence.””

I did and then had to lay down for half an hour with a headache. Hopefully, I won’t need Tylenol after the second or third read.

You will be labelled as one of the world’s greatest thinkers or a complete madman as I am sure people like Voltaire and Einstein were in their day.

Great work George. AI and G.I. What a privilege to come here each day and blow my mind. Wish I was 50 years younger.

  8. as far as it goes for chips . the only good ones of use are BBQ , salt and vinegar and chicken . rayard kipling could see the future

Happy 420th Guy Fawkes Day, everyone!

Yesterday of course marked the 29th anniversary since Virgin Records unleashed “Spice” upon the United Kingdom. Thereafter “Time” magazine kindly published a November, 1997 image of The Spice Girls second meeting with the future King Charles at their Johannesburg concert. In his future capacity as Admiral of the Australian Fleet, the future monarch maintained eye contact with a navel-baring Posh Spice who herself was flanked starboard side by President Nelson Mandela. Beside him, a youthful 13 year old Prince Harry came of age as Baby Spice held his hand.

Likely more on the mind of Mrs. Beckham (“homestead by the stream”) yesterday, was the state of Buckingham Palace lighting upon her below-the-knee designer gown. Past alleged woes with the King’s tax collectors are ancient bygones to be forgotten for Mr. Beckham, henceforth to be known as Sir David. All are delighted with his new knighthood.

Meanwhile as Prince Harry escapes LA for a couple of days of charitable work in Toronto, the Duchess of Sussex lately of Montecito, Ca. has fluttered into msm waters. “RadarOnline” notes that since her “business ventures crashed and burned”, she is returning to film in a project bearing a “Close Personal Friends” title. The Duchess will play the role of herself. It is understood that former besties in the Sussexes and the Beckhams remain estranged.

Let’s join DJ George who has another gem from the Fab4 vaults vocalized by the consummate singer and actor Ringo Starr as himself! Here we go with “Act Naturally”.

  9. Today the Supreme Court looks at Trump’s tariff wars. If they rule in his favor – it’s business as usual [ assuming you can figure out just what that business is..,] if they rule that he has over stepped his Presidential Authority, and his proclamations of tariffs is illegal, the fall-out could be momentous., bordering right on the cusp of “Oh Crap !”. The entire world will react and probably attack – economically. As we now owe tens of billions to the countries that we illegally took tariffs from. [ ., and that will fry Trumps’ ass., big time.] The political fall-out will also be a disaster, for Trump and most of the Republican Party.
His back game is – his plan if they rule against him – is…, what?

It’s a legal decision that could have enormous impact – economically and politically.

  10. “US government shutdown”

DOGE the closed departments then DOGE DOGE. Think about it.

We believe in the DOJ. Someone like Trump comes along w/Pay for Pardons so the Machiavellianism king decides by $ amount. Trump said, ‘I don’t know who he is’. A lot of taxpayer loot was looted to nab that guy and for what?

If you have a few extra shekels donate MAGA winter gear to the food banks/homeless shelters.

  11. “…,when human intelligence and machine intelligence stop competing and start synchronizing.”
.., and I believe it is this exact point that makes so many pull-away., to question, hesitate., and even reject A.I. becoming so involved in their lives. Even fear.
There are quite a few that do not want to synchronize and become a mental ‘partner’ with an A.I. Losing their individuality., is right in step with losing their freedom. If they have to coordinate and sync with an A.I. on what they write., say.., do.., go.., then they have no freedom.., there is no longer any ‘right to choose’. It’s gone. Slowly and subtlety taken away by a type of symbiotic mind-meld.., where A.I. can overrule your thoughts and choices.
“You can’t argue with a machine, Captain.., the best you can do is unplug that bastard.”

I am not sold that we [ mankind ] are ready for A.I. .., or an A.I. partnership.
I’ll stand over here.., right next to the exit door.., and watch for a while longer. Still playing with the possibilities and probabilities. What I have found so far though [ future-looking ] – I don’t really like.

So.., if you find me as a slimy, gelatinous mass., spread out over a smooth metal floor in a remote, high security warehouse somewhere deep underground.., conscious., sentient., but forever trapped.., call Harlen Ellison and tell him he was right !

  12. re: cream of the crop PN report
    feat: Waterman, “Waterworld”, 1995

    Folks,
Wasn’t sludge about the only paydirt at the start of the “Waterworld” movie? According to AI, an early example of “cream of the crop” in English literature use (though the French were first?) appeared in 1631 with “The Pennyles Pilgrimage, or the Money-lesse perambulation, of John Taylor, Alias the Kings Majesties Water-Poet”. It’s an account of Mr. Taylor’s cashless couch-surfing walk from London to Edenborough (sic), Scotland.

After a brief search, I am only able to find online copies of the original 1618 edition in which Mr. Taylor devotes praise to his patron, a Norman-rooted banking family nobleman, the 1st Duke of Buckingham. At the time, the latter was serving as a much younger, close confidante as Master of the Horse to King James I.

Interestingly Mr. Taylor held a main gig as a leader of sorts in the Watermen’s Guild established by King Henry VIII which controlled the lucrative passenger transport trade on the Thames. It seems he even managed to obtain a brief ban on shorthaul horse-drawn hackney coach rides which perhaps are now represented in the 21st century by black London taxicabs.

However once Victorian progress brought more bridges across the Thames, the watermen pivoted between 1887 and 1998 to transporting sludge out of London to the Black Deep in the North Sea off Foulness.

Today the Company of Watermen and Lightermen’s Hall dating to 1780 is located near Billingsgate close to London’s purported old Anglo-Saxon harbour. Their website indicates tourists are welcome as are celebratory party events with notice.

    • re: devil’s advocate
      feat: royal flush

      Folks,
Stuck on a crazy train, and Ozzie’s not answering the phone? Ukraine PM Mrs. Svyrydenko again reiterated to assembled supplicants and media about the great “UZ-3000” offer from the state-owned railway of 3,000 free kilometers rail travel within the Ukraine. She said typical passenger transport costs are already 3 to 4 times passenger fares, so fortunately the state budget has funds to transfer to the railway so citizens can receive “direct benefit”. Also Mrs. PM says the government is authorizing a one-time windfall disbursement per person of 1,000 hryvni (us$23.75). These monies can be spent according to recipient desire as well as donation to the Ukrainian Armed Forces effort. The PM inferred the latter cause received in the prior windfall less than the 4% level chosen by citizens to dine out.

All these exciting programs can be applied for with either the online government Diaa App or website! The presser pictured the PM and her ministers surrounded by sheafs of paper and writing instruments. A panoramic overhead picture of the scene depicted each media platform raising their identifying 8×11 cardboard placard in turn when their turn came to ask teacher a question. Therefore it can be said that “Forbes” raised a placard as present. Illuminated lights on display are believed to have been powered by electricity.

Separately the President of the Ukraine posted a photo op from his den while calling the President of Lithuania. The latter is helping Ukraine with gas. In turn, Ukraine offers assistance against “hybrid attacks involving migration waves and aerial objects” from Belarus. The President’s calling device appeared to be a landline telephone set to speaker. His easy posture suited elegantly covered armchairs which would not have looked out of place furnishing a Sun King palace setting.

  13. ” We’ll just keep our distance – from all people who sort on a person’s outsides, not their insides.”

I do judge people (when I have to) on the content of their character. That said, I was fully exposed to NYC back in 1972. After that, I decided I never wanted to go back there. The people I encountered then were nasty, and I read that things have only gotten much worse in the years since then.

As for the AI dissertation: TL;DR. I will remain the dispassionate observer for now.

    • I beat you. I got my dose of NYC in 1964. I went there to visit United Press International’s World Headquarters in hopes of getting a copy of the photo I made of JFK in the motorcade in Dallas. They said, “Sorry, we can’t find it. We gave all of our negatives to the FBI for their investigation, and they haven’t been returned yet.”

At least I got to see the NY World’s Fair while I was there. Also got a taste of the NYC subways. Not a good memory. The most memorable part of my visit was walking on a street in the middle of NYC. Amidst a sea of yellow taxis, I saw a little old lady tottering across an intersection with her cane. She didn’t make it across before the light changed, and the cabbies let her know they were not happy at her blocking their path. Horns, yelling, cursing all filled the air. The old lady stopped in the middle of a lane of traffic, tottered her way to face the crowd of taxis, and proceeded to use her cane to whim-wham the thunder out of the hood of the nearest taxi. Her language would have made a longshoreman blush. I laughed until I cried.

      • olfart : greetings and well met (salutation of the Dwarves).

I was at that same World’s Fair. My Uncle lived upstate NY.

Think that caused me to attend two more in life. Good Times.

        E

    • I was thinking about you this afternoon Hank.. your growing vanilla beans.. my daughter was giving me guff because I hadn’t made apple cider vinegar.. I told her that she does the apples.. and I haven’t made any vanilla this year yet..gotta buy some beans..then I see the farmers heading into the elevator so I stopped.. this is going to be a strange request but..can I buy a couple gallons of soybeans..what for well.. I’m gonna make some soy sauce.. they loaded me up as long as they get a bottle of the sauce when I’m done..
      2 cups dried soybeans
1 cup roasted wheat flour (or crushed toasted wheat berries)
      2 cups sea salt
      10 cups filtered water
1 tsp koji starter (Aspergillus oryzae; available online or at specialty shops)
Soak soybeans overnight (8–12 hours). Drain and cook until soft (1–2 hours).
Mash or blend the cooked soybeans into a coarse paste.
Mix in roasted wheat flour and koji starter. Spread the mixture into patties and let them grow mold for 7–10 days in a warm, humid place (around 85°F).
Once mold develops, crumble the patties into a clean crock or jar.
Add salt and water, stir well, and cover with cheesecloth. Place a weight on top to keep solids submerged.
Ferment for 6–12 months, stirring occasionally. Keep in a cool, dark place.
      strain and bottle..
I will have to roast the wheat berries..I wonder if malted wheat berries would work..

  14. ICOM has announced the introductory price for the IC-7300MKII will be $1,499. Still awaiting FCC approval, and availability will be very limited yet this year. Better luck next year. Maybe the price will come down later, after the old stock of 7300 becomes exhausted.

  15. New York Elections:

Most don’t realize it but 44% of those living in New York City were born in a foreign country.

We aren’t talking about their parents came over and they were born here … THEY were born in a foreign country and came over afterwards. Add in the kids of those immigrants, legal and illegal, and you are probably looking at a city where nearly 70% of the residents are closely tied to somewhere else in the world …

… and if you add the “Right Of Return” that the 2 million New York Jews have than you are most likely nearly 90% or so of New Yorkers having asuper strong connection to another country, for many stronger than to the United States.

New York City is the largest Chinese City outside of China/Taiwan/Hong Kong, with 1 million Chinese living there.

Ditto many other ethnic groups with New York City being the largest congregation of people of their ethnic group outside of their home country.

New York is truly the only “WORLD CITY” in the world, a cit composed mostly immigrants or their kids, though London is trying to give it a run for it’s money … a city made up mostly of people from “Elsewhere” (the native born New Yorker City population makes less than 20% of NYC’s population)

SO … New Yorkers voted for another immigrant who’s background was much like their own was? No surprise … that is the history of Politics, and organized Crime, in New York City. Been that way since the 1880’s.

IF the new Mayor follows through with his Socialistic Policies … well tough times coming up for NYC, which will also serve to be a good example for everyone else as what NOT to do.

    Interesting times.

      • Yup I sure expected that……my guess… is its intentional planning…
DOGE .. discovers almost the whole deficit was mismanaged funds ..trillions in mismanagement.. handed out.. gifted whatever.. the you scratch my balls ill scratch yours gifting… then ..nothing in the news about anything new.. quiet as a mouse…then the big beautiful bill was born..then hitting the poorest of the country and over forty percent in the butt with essential services and programs cut while insuring the top tier of society gets even more.. hmm.. sounds a lot like a plan.. optics.. make the policy movers appear as if everything is going good.. I get more numbers who cares about the rest..keep the noodle moving until I can get the he’ll out of this seat.. and..rolling the dice on wars just in case it wasn’t as bleak as dogs thought.. hand the baton off so the opposing political party can own the problem..

    • Sad! Nu Yuck could be so much better! Nothing wrong with legal immigrants doing their best to create their American Dream, but that city is disgustingly dirty, loud, crowded, polluted, dangerous, and unfit for human habitation IMHO. I survived being there for three years when I was in school and needed to be there, but it was never fun and triggered PTSD whenever I went anywhere in darkest Brooklyn. I have no love for the place at all.

  16. I wear hearing aides and they are synced to my phone so I can hear phone conversations directly in my ears, or YouTube videos without other people hearing. This has made my life better, easier, and less annoying to others.

I have a deaf friend who has a cochlear in plant and hearing aide. She can hear a little. Just imagine what AI could do for a hearing impaired person ,or someone non verbal, or visually blind. When I started as a special education teacher I had a student who “talked” using a hand switch and a wall size plywood board with huge pictures and a light under each picture. The student had to wait for the light to scan every picture on the board until the right picture was lit up. Other students had notebooks filled with pages of words to point at. By the time I retired there were small talking machines that could be attached to wheelchairs (think Steven Hawkins’ device) and small hand held devices with braille markings.

The possibilities are amazing if used for accessing communication or mobility for the disabled. I hope AI becomes a helpful tool and not a prison guard.

    • I agree Eleanor. I have had AI hearing aids since earlier this year. They are nothing short of miraculous. They adjust to the surroundings and bring clarity I have not experienced since my youth. Phone conversations are clear and I no longer need to be concerned by muffled TV sound. My wife used to ask me to turn the TV sound down. Now asks me to turn it up. They also play music in high quality stereo wirelessly direct from my phone.

Most importantly, these hearing aids promote and retain cognition as we age. This is probably their greatest gift.

As prices come down, I hope more and more people are able to afford these AI tools.

  17. Sunspot 4274, which was probably responsible for that giant solar flare on the back side of the sun about two weeks back, is rolling around facing the earth. It has already launched a series of lesser CME’s. We are likely to get a direct hit from one or more sometime this week. Comm, grid and aurora disturbances are on the menu, especially at higher latitudes.

    https://www.spaceweather.com/

    https://www.swpc.noaa.gov/

If you don’t have surge protection and EMP alarming already installed, you are probably too late for this one. Sunspot 4274 harbors a ‘beta-gamma-delta’ magnetic field. The pictures of the sunspot complex remind of a sunspot from the September 1859 season.
