ShopTalk Sunday (+): Futuring Project Planner

Our ShopTalk column today will be somewhat muted, following the attempt on former president Donald Trump’s life in Pennsylvania Saturday.  There are three – serious – non-shop discussions to have, first.

1. G.A. Stewart’s Nostradamus work nailed it.

Not only did Stu post “Scary Close” (for this high-intensity, here comes the crap) period just a couple of days ago.  He had been expecting the “…Mouth bloody into the blood crawling..as outlined in “Trump Assassination Attempt and Proving a Point“.  But, not expected was that Trump’s crawling would be him – down on the dais – hunting for his shoes.

Students of Future know that when predictions come in, they can be precisely right, but you won’t get the “full story.”  Only the Big Headline without the details.

This leaves the ardent Student of Future wondering (still) who/what is the King of Terrors (from sky) that is mentioned.  And about the possible carnage to come at the Olympics.

I don’t suppose there’s much need to remind you of our Murder Cycle work – where we discuss a nasty habit of recurring violence on a (soft) 120-150 days repeating cycle.  Wikipedia keeps a running tab on List of mass shootings in the United States in 2024.  If there was a “harmonic” to the attempt Saturday, it might be off the mid-February to early March period.  You may remember one was killed and 21 injured in a mass shooting in Kansas City, MO on February 14th which would be on the high side of the probability window.

On the other hand, the largest mass shooting in America this year has been the June 2nd shooting in Akron, OH which left 1 dead and 29 injured.  We mention that because our “antennae will be up” 130-days after that, so around October 10the and from there through almost the end of the month. Just ahead of the Election.

2. Details about the Shooter are limited

OK, we know (from Live updates: Shooting was an assassination attempt against Trump, FBI says” that the shooter is alleged to have been a 20-year old Pennsylvania man who fired from the rooftop of a building a distance away.

The suspected perp is white, male, and apparently gave money to some far left causes (Here’s what we know about Thomas Matthew Crooks, the suspected Trump rally shooter | Reuters). Curiously, though, the story reveals that he was registered as a republican in Pennsylvania.  We’re left to ponder more “messy details that don’t make sense” to unpack.

Two things we will be looking for will be any history of medication use because this has been (loosely) associated with mass violence in the past.  And then there’s that whole ball of “socialization-wokeness” that may involve gender, “loner tendencies” and a desire for fame. Notice the very long hair of the alleged perp in some pictures…

I have covered at least half a dozen presidential visits in the past and I remember the aggressive attitude of the Secret Service.  They heloed in counter-snipers to usually half a dozen high buildings in the city where a president was visiting.  Judging by the aerial maps, it was strange to us that Secret Service hadn’t already “secured the high ground” from anywhere a shot could be fired.  While they will do an internal review, we keep wondering why the apparent lack of “high ground control” on this.  The words “set up” are prematurely bouncing around the writer’s mind.

As you will see in the diagram in this morning’s NT Post this was a (roughly) 400-fo0t shot.  But we’re left hungry for details about the gun, optics, and any training the (alleged) perp may have had.

3. The Event’s Larger Contexts

We are  also left with a major problem of “What’s next?” by Stu’s Nostradamus work.  The reason is that when “seers” touch Future, it can be a “messy” problem sorting things out.

Most of the problem comes down to “inter-channel noise.”  Which as I explained in an unpublished book “Real Time Machines: the Future is an App” is that there seem to be multiple channels that inform human perception what may be about to happen.

Almost a half-dozen clear channels include Nostradamus and G.A. Stewart’s work.  Then we have a “cloud” of remote viewers and “seers.” Clif High’s work in predictive linguistics is also impressive. Then we have both Word Frequency Analysis and dream work.

Each of these “data channels” has scored impressive results, but they are not 100 percent.  To use the analogy of a “synch pulse” it’s difficult to assess, for example, the timescale involved in (for example) Clif’s work versus the Remote Viewing approach.  It’s like watching the future on a multi-channel oscilloscope, each with similar (but different) traces.

Then there’s the feed-forward problem.  This arises when an extremely long-range series of predictions comes from someone like Nostradamus (Stu’s work) and we have no way to understand how much of Clif’s linguistics are being “fed” or “influenced” by animal spirits in humans that may decide (quite arbitrarily to pick up discussion of a Nostradamus outlook at a particular (local time on internet) thus giving rise to waves of awareness of future.

“Fascinating, Captain.”  You bet.

So that’s where we are this morning. More to come. Not sure what markets will do in reaction, but that’s something we’ll cover tomorrow morning in our regular column.

America is its own problem.  While we are strong believers in the Constitution and the right to keep and bear arms, we nevertheless do have some marketing advice for the gun industry.

Day after a national tragedy, don’t send out emails telling me “30 Round AR-15 Magazine Under $8 This Sunday Only!”

Are you nuts?

I mentioned this to wife Elaine.  “Don’t they have any brains?”

“Not sure, but not as much as they have product to move.”

Everything is a business model…

Meanwhile, In the Shop

I’ll be spending today working on my shopping list because Amazon’s summer Prime Days are this week. Among the “big ticket” items:

  • Some new electric bikes are out that have very long-range mileage claims (like over 100-miles).  These are either 48 or 52 volts and feature 20-amp-hour plus battery packs.  Non-Prime pricing has been running between $1,000-$2,000 for something with good reviews.  Because we have made a fair investment in solar, it would be useful to have a non-ICE way to run into town for shopping if TSHTF.  Although the supply chain will dry up with hoarders very quickly.  So maybe no need for the e-Bike.  Still noodling that one.
  • I’m still looking for a manufactured roll around tool cart that will handle 12-15 battery powered tools plus a couple of small battery circ saws. I found one or two candidates, but they all had very small (about 1-1.5 inch) wheels.  And in a shop, you want everything to be on 4-inch or larger wheels or they will hang up on everything if you have an uneven (or dirty) floor while working.
  • Big screen TVs should be cheap, too. We’re thinking about an 86 inch, but if the world’s going to end (or come close) would you want a TV, or would more hydroponic kits, seeds, and some additional IBC Tote water storage fixtures be more important?

Anyway, Prime Day is worth checking out. Have the wife hold the credit cards, lol.

Off to do Sunday cooking. Split pea soup with a pound or two of ham chunks in it… yum!

Write when you get rich,

1/4 cup cornstarch 9 powdered milk as the binder)
        1/4 cup granulated sugar
        1/2 tsp Morton Tender Quick
1/8 cup salt ( you can use less .. like a tbsp )
        1 teaspoon granulated garlic
        1/2 cup ice-cold water
1 1/2 pounds pork pork shoulder very cold, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 pound deli-style ham (like honey or hickory), very cold, cut into 1-inch cubes
        1 1/2 pounds ground pork
In a large bowl, mix the cornstarch, sugar, Tender Quick, salt, and garlic. Stir in the water until combined.
Set up your meat grinder (or if you don’t have one, get out the blender). Using the large grinding plate, grind the pork belly (or coarsely blend); add to the bowl with the cornstarch slurry. Using the same grinding plate, grind the ham (or coarsely blend); add to the pork belly. Add the ground pork, then use your hands to mix everything together until combined.
        Heat the oven to 300°F.
Divide the pork mixture between four 5×3-inch loaf pans pressing down firmly to eliminate air pockets. or you can use your spam loaf form..or musabi press

Cover the top of each with foil. Place into a baking dish big enough to fit all the pans or press firmly in the musabi pan. Add water up to the lip of the loaf pan (or about an inch below the top of the baking dish). Cook for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes, until the center of each loaf reaches at least 155°F.
then you can either package it up.. retort can it.. or you can smoke it.. etc.

How (why) did Trump’s shoes come off? It wasn’t from the shock of the hit — he felt his ear reflexively, and then ducked down on his own volition. SecServ was “on” him, covering as a meat shield, in about one fast second — did one agent remove his shoes?

My thought wasn’t who the shooter was., it wasn’t what weapon he had.., it wasn’t that he missed from 200m.., it wasn’t what color socks Trump was wearing.., I went immediately to – how did a trained SS counter sniper miss seeing a man on a roof top., with a rifle less than 250m from his position? How in the hell did he not see him ? Just how many people were on roof tops in that immediate area that he was so distracted that he missed seeing, in plain- open sight., on a flat top roof.., a man with a rifle? Several people in audience saw him.., how is it that this “highly trained counter sniper”., who had the high-ground., didn’t ??
Investigate the shooter, sure., talk about him, his parents., his pet gerbil., dig for his motivation Ad nauseam.., but personally.., I want an interview / investigation on that counter sniper.

Thats a real good question. Not being a ss sniper or sniper or anything remotely close to these folks from my eye sight I wondered this as well. How could you not see him when in the video it appears you are aiming your rifle in the direction of the shooter but waiting for the shooter to shoot.

6 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

          2 Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

          5 Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;

          6 Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart;

7 With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men:

8 Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.

9 And, ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening: knowing that your Master also is in heaven; neither is there respect of persons with him.

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

          14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

          15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

        Oahspe:_A_New_Bible#influence

For seven years the war lasted, and during all the while, the earthly commander, Washington, was under the guardianship of the commander of the angel hosts. And there were detailed to guard Washington, day and night, one 1,000 angels. And though he was shot at, and in many ways sought for to be destroyed, these angels saved him, even catching in their hands the bullets that were fired at him. And in like manner were many other mortal leaders and privates in the war protected and saved from harm by the angels. And yet all this while the angels fought on the other side, endeavoring to pull away the guardian angels, and so make the mortal leaders vulnerable. But these angels were lower in grade and less potent, and, withal, not so enthusiastic, for they had not suffered martyrdom. And it came to pass that the republic was established.

The shooter missed at 6:11 (so it says):

Ephesians 6:11: “Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”

Ephesians: 6:13: “Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”

Paul’s letter to the Ephesians was to encourage unity.

Accuracy International rifles are all bolt-action, chambered for NATO/SF sniper rounds (.300Mag, .338Mag, .50BMG) using (what appears to be) a Mauser-type action.

Shots were fired about 0.3 seconds apart. I don’t believe a master sniper could work even a Mauser action on a .22 to fire it 5-times in 1.2 seconds, let alone to fire it with any accuracy. Ergo, the gun was a semi-automatic, probably some flavor of .22cal (like an AR-knockoff), and probably cost ~$900.

While you have your antenna up for other incidents, realize that there are circumstances where some signals are attenuated.
For example what have you heard about this?

    https://www.cnn.com/2024/07/14/us/birmingham-nightclub-mass-shooting/index.html

Now, if this had been a (M)middle eastern guy in a coastal city, shooting up a (G) bar, it would be (was) national news.

Here in Birmingham, this was just Saturday night.
A(B) drive by shooter, shot into a (B) nightclub and killed 4, wounded 9 (all B). The two Sunday Morning News Ladies (both B) gave it a 30 sec “in other news” treatment in between stories about the shooting of PDJT.
As Bob Dole said, “Where’s the outrage?!?”

The link notes that the statistic keepers define a mass shooting as “4 or more shot, not including the shooter.”

I tell advocates of gun control that if the guns caused the violence my basement would have cause Ukraine level casualties by now. But it has not.

So I will continue to refuse to inconvenience myself if other people with more emotions than brains can’t contain themselves.

But I still think its kind of outrageous, and sad, that this kind of incident does not get the level of attention of other incidents.
I don’t know if it is racism due to demographics, or political correctness als due to the demographics.
Notice, CNN would not even give the name of the night club.
    Sad.

I do go to the 27th street 34th avenue area on occasions Its an industrial area with suppliers of things you would use for projects like steel shapes and auto parts. The main NAPA Wearhouse is in the neighborhood.
This is an example of the wrong place at the wrong time. The place is wrong anytime late after dark.
Sunlight out, you can be OK, but remember, Alabama is a state where most old white guys “don’t leave home without it” and I am not talking about an AMEX card.

Car wrecks are relegated to the back page. Simple matter of things that happen frequently cease to be news, where uncommon things are still of interest. If black-on-black killings didn’t happen so often, they’d still be in the news.

  11. Of course the big question, if this was “planned”, is why?
What did it “accomplish”? – Greater divisiveness between Trump supporters and Trump haters.
Hypothesis: Trump “haters” side will respond.
Further hypothesis: Obama will be chosen as VP running mate for Biden. See 2015 article (
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2015/08/06/could-joe-biden-pick-barack-obama-as-his-running-mate-yes-but/).
Trump haters will come out of the woodwork to vote.
Ergo, purpose of assassination attempt was to motivate landslide Trump hater vote.

    • What did it accomplish..
more people now than there already was are now supporting trump.
with ten years of non stop attacks..spending billions of dollars trying to destroy him made him more popular than ever.
this failed attempt and the obvious failure of the protection detail around him just propelled him into the legend of a hero For the people status.

I was an ambitious, over-the-top., wise-ass., very competent, slightly over-confident, holier-that thou., much better than you, with an arrogant attitude you could ‘feel’ from twenty yards away, an earned distrust for non-combat officers, extensively trained for nearly a year before I even stepped a foot in Vietnam. From Airborne & Ranger schools., three week Vietnamese immersive intelligence school at Fort Mead., NCO School & Jungle Warfare school in Panama..,
I was in Vietnam for less than two weeks when the senior Special Forces sergeant thought I needed a lesson in humility – and sent me to the Advance Sniper School – two weeks at Monkey Mountain, then two weeks with 2nd Infantry. Tough course – 9 of the starting 12 washed out – I thrived.
I came back to my duty assignment [CCN] even worse
[ or better] than when I left.
For over two and half years I carried an M21., and I have never let that training and skill atropine – diminish. To this day I constantly practice and try to upgrade my skills and knowledge [ and patience.]. Which gets harder every.., single…, year. [ Getting old sucks.]

    .
.., and “that” is why I want to have a talk with the Secret Service counter sniper. What the hell was he doing !? What is his background? Did he simply freeze-up? .., and – does he still have a job ?
“If there is one – then there are two.” I would have the entire Secret Service team on duty heavily checked and vetted – again. The entire incident was completely avoidable – in my opinion – but they “screwed-the-pooch”. Why ? I have questions.
[.., and since it’s just going to sit in an evidence locker for a few decades – can I have his rifle ?]

    • You must remember this is a DIMM Administration.
Lindsey Graham told a story about Trump is the early part of his admin.
A General called Trump and asked permission for a Captain in Afganistan to make a hit on a certain target the Captain had identified and surrounded.
Trump asked the usual questions of the General. “Tell me about the Captain. West Point? How many years Experience? Does he usually make the correct decisions?
When he had the answers Trump asked the General, “Why are you here asking me, with no military experience” to OK the request of this guy in the field who is obviously more qualified to make that call?
General says, because thats the way the last admi always wanted it.
Trump said, You don’t have to ask anymore, go do it.
Remember Hillary and Obama sitting in the situation room micromanaging the response to the assault on the Embassy?
Remember Jimmy Carter trying to run the Hostage Rescue from the White house and just ending up crashing helicopters in the desert?
      Remember Waco?
The Dimms always think they know better how to run a military shooting situation thant the people on the ground.
If I were on a congressional committee, I would want to knpw “Why did the shipe not take out the shooter when he spotted him? Was the sniper constrained by procedure to wait until given the permission to fire by higher-ups?
      I hope someone asks.
I can’t wait to hear the answer.

“By great discord the whirlwind [Trump] trembles” is the rioting that will take place in Donald J. Trump’s name.

“Broken agreement, raising the test to heaven” Trump has already violated a gag order from the judge in his New York financial trial and has been fined and threatened with jail.

“Mouth bloody into the blood crawling,” how many acts of fictional violence did we see from famous people during Trump’s Presidency.

“On the ground his face anointed with milk and honey” is an execution and final blessing.

Now we know what on the ground and face anointed means. Trump diving to the ground and rising with his fist raised and his face anointed with blood. This is a very powerful prophecy. It should make some believers out of the critics of this material. It is in my 2023 book. The pictures will be historical and iconic.

SS sniper had the patsy in his sights ( 130 yards, easy shot even for a amateur )and flinched when the first 2 shots went off, after flinching the ss sniper let his rifle drop from his tripod muzzle down, he wasn’t even looking through his scope after that. If he got a shot off it hit the ground 50 yards short of the patsy. The fatal shot came from a different agent than what was filmed. The patsies rifle was recently purchased legally by his father, l highly doubt it cost12k, you can build one that would be more than adequate for a 150 yard shot for 600 bucks. This was covered pretty well from foreign media yesterday, if you are getting your info from American sources you are being worked as usual. Involvement goes deep on this one. Those ss snipers are incompetent or complicit, there are NO other answers. Heads on swivels for the next year or 5 folks.

INSIDE JOB AND ANY OF YOU THAT WATCH THE VIDEO….

With Trump speaking and the Police snipers on the roof can easily see what you mentioned, also noting, most importantly, that either the first or second shot hit Trump, then the Police sniper did a ridiculous BS shot and at least 6 to 7 more shots rang out.

The Police sniper didn’t even recheck to see if he got the shooter.

Also, WHY was the Police sniper pointing to that roof anyway???

It was like he was ready for action, ready for orders, ready for what was to come.

The reason this is the SHOT HEARD ROUND THE WORLD is we are in the MODERN TIMES…. a lot of people have cameras, take videos, pay attention, get the word out.

They did NOT contain the crime scene.
      They did NOT confiscate cameras/phones.

They did NOT count on a miss.

The SS did NOT KNOW FOR SURE that there was only ONE shooter, yet they let the SS get Trump up and exposed him further to a 2nd or even 3rd shooter.

They did NOT use bullet proof clear shields to move Trump.

The SS WOMAN who runs the SS did not clear more SS for Trump that rally but gave the extra to Jill Biden.

What, we don’t have enough SS in this country???

This REEKS of a planned murder from the highest reaches of the people that rule the world.

INSIDE JOB: EVERYONE I HAVE SPOKEN TO, TALKED WITH, OR TEXTED, see it the very same way. Democrats and Republicans.

    1/2 cup maple syrup
    1/2 cup brown sugar
place your bacon on your pan brush both sides with maple syrup and sprinkle with brown sugar.. you can add other slices to this I dont.
place in a pre heated oven at 300 degrees ..it usually takes about a half hour..watch it to see when it gets to the level of doneness.. I like mine crisper so I keep it in a few minutes longer.. let cool while your Sunday morning waffles and eggs are being fixed.. enjoy..

    • IF you want that bacon to be extreme.. COLD SMOKE it… prior.. get a cheap bacon at the store then smoke it…another couple hours….
You can make bacon easy enough.. the problem is pork belly is more expensive than buying the bacon already wraped and seasoned.. now you can season it.. I buy the sliced pork bellie.. get a cheap tote.. ( I have a vacuum chamber for meat to season.. works so good.. sucks that seasoning in right away..)

      https://www.sausagemaker.com/?s=bacon+cure&post_type=product&type_aws=true&aws_id=1&aws_filter=1

HIgh mountain spices has a good cure to…

      https://himtnjerky.com/original-bacon-cure/

you can make up the seasonings.. easy enough and yes I do have the recipes.. but buying the already mixed seasonings is so much easier..and cheaper .. otherwise you have to buy big containers of the spices to go into them.. and they are all basically similar..I don’t actually go by the suggested spice use .. some I put more in some I put less in.. some I add a spice to get the flavor I and my family like.. your the boss of what your flavor should be..

  18. Not sure if the Secret Service publishes their rules of engagement and authority delegation for candidate protection gigs. 42 seconds is not a long time to make the call on a stone cold kill. Also don’t know if the agent who took the shot was assigned that zone, had a clear line of fire or had to reposition. Once the shooting started, rules on targets of opportunity and authority delegation would have morphed. This stuff gets complicated in real life situations, and the Rules can be complicated for cold initiating a firefight in a crowded civilian venue. I would withhold judgement until the report gets issued. There may have been errors, and sometimes sh!t just happens in ways nobody can anticipate.

Candace Owens has a good read on this…

    • But the goal of political rallies is to get working people to attend. That’s a very good reason to hold the rally on a Saturday (when markets are closed).

      • The Rally’s ARE the Trum Ground Game.
To get in you give up name, address, age, income, Phone number, email address etc.
Everything the DIMMS pay door-knockers to go around and collect.
They get that and the text messages begin.
They want you to talk to your neighbors and encourage them to come to the next raly.
Its their GOTV program but you come to them, not them to you, and it costs way less.
This is how his son in law Jarod Kushner built the huge database of supporters.

The instructions given to every radio and television media outlet, regarding the shooting:

    Trump rally story

Hello – reminder to stick to facts, don’t speculate,
editorialize, sensationalize or jump to conclusions
when reporting on the Trump rally incident today.

Don’t call it assassination attempt unless
    authorities say it is.

Don’t say a shooting targeting Trump or the rally
    unless authorities confirm that connection.

Clarify if it’s actually gun shots – that’s unclear at
the moment. If authorities don’t know, then it’s ok
    to say that.

Anchors – reminder to be mindful of body
language when presenting the story. No need for
“serious” face or adding comments and adjectives
    for color.

No need to say “scary moments today at a Trump
rally…” Just get to the story.

At this moment, no need for guests to comment.

Again, all this just a reminder. I know we all know.

    • Okay, Ray, I’ll play along. (No disrespect intended.)

We saw it LIVE when it happened, we didn’t need to play any games, we REPLAYED it OVER and OVER and OVER and saw all we needed to.

The interviews came very fast of EYE-WITNESSES.

      We don’t watch the CBS/BBC/ABC/MSNBC/NBC/PBS/CNN/BULLSHIIT.

This was one assassination attempt that anyone can analyze with their own eyes.

THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR WHAT HAPPENED.

      THEY ALMOST KILLED HIM.

This wasn’t the Zapruder tape that got sewed up within 24 hours and kept from the American people for 12 years.

This wasn’t Dan Rather lying to the American people about the head shot that killed Kennedy.

THEY DID NOT COUNT ON THAT THEY COULD NOT CONTAIN THE CRIME SCENE, NOR THE NARRATIVE, NOR WHAT WAS BEING PLAYED LIVE FOR ALL THE WORLD TO SEE.

They wanted his head blown off on the national stage, they did NOT get their way.

      THANK GOD.

It took three weeks, in February of 2020, for the lamestream to first gaslight the American public, then completely erase Creepy Joe’s many years of words & actions from the collective memory of our “voting public.”

The fact “we all saw it” is irrelevant. I trust the media for fairness and honesty, as far as I can throw a remote uplink…

“The shooter was an amateur, and almost certainly a nutjob. He may have had some rudimentary military training, but I suspect most of his experience came from playing Halo.

Trump turned his head suddenly (which saved his life) and the assassin either took his eyes off his target as he was squeezing off the shot, or closed them completely.”

I don’t know if he has been trained to recognize the sound of a supersonic bullet and react, but he certainly got on the job training at the rally. Not riding in front of the firing line in a firefight (ala George Washington), but a good performance nonetheless.

  22. Several times in my TV career I have worked on Presidential visits “inside the perimeter”. Royal pain. After clearing permissions and maps of exactly WHERE we were to place our television relay gear to get a live signal out, once it was in place an agent comes and tells us we cannot place that thing here. “We cleared it…” “I don’t care. I’m in charge of this area and I’M TELLING YOU… you cannot.” One really cannot argue with a man with an Uzi under his suit coat.
So then after thinking on my feet for a very few seconds I pulled ‘Plan B’ out of my ass and asked politely if we could set up the equipment farther out, over ‘there’.
“Can you set it up quick and vacate the area and not come back for the duration? I don’t want people thinking they can just walk over there.” Roger.. OK.
“And keep your badge in sight. The snipers are watching you!”

    Royal pains… ROYAL.

Yeah, there was a procedural breakdown for sure that let the shooter get to his perch, AND get a round fired before he was ‘neutralized’.

    • I worked in a high-rise in Austin when Bush 1 and 2 came to town. The secret service cleared all buildings within 1/2 mile of the parade route.

Came into our building FLOOR TO FLOOR went in ALL rooms, and on the roof.

No way did that kid get to that roof without COMPLICIT permission/approval.

      INSIDE JOB.

No matter what excuses come out:

      1) lack of communication.
      2) lack of coordination.
      3) lack of training.
      4) lack of chain of command.
      5) lack of permission to take out the shooter.
      6) lack of enough SS agents.
      7) police force incompetence.
      8) SS agent incompetence.
      9) etc., etc., etc.

THEY HAD ONE JOB TO DO. ONE. AND THEY FAILED.

All that policeman had to do when he climbed up the ladder and saw the shooter, who then pointed his rifle at him, was to fire his gun into the air and that, would have alerted everyone, and Trump would NEVER have been brought up on that stage.

      ONE JOB. CRIMINAL FAIL.
