When you are floating, or at anchor or on a mooring, your sleeping alignment is always random. If you are lucky enough to be berthed in a marina, finding a north/south alignment slip is mostly unreasonable.
When we lived on land we Feng Shui’d as much as possible. Even painted the doors the correct colors for alignment (neighbors thought it was odd) and had the bed properly aligned. Being in a slip now that is east/west and the berth is fore/aft, no way to be correct.
Also, having spent nearly thirty years working in China multiple times a year, I came across Feng Shui being practiced and witnessed plenty of positive stuff.
I’m going to look for a spot to tie up next stop that gives us alignment. Maybe my crazy wild dreaming will become less whacko?

and yeah, i volunteer for a non profit that grows food for people. the mission is basically, ‘no one should be denied fresh produce because of inability to pay.’ we grow food, grow seedlings and sell them, give plants away to people to start gardens and buy food from small farms to distribute. it’s a small org, two employees and lots of interns and volunteers, no junkets, no office to speak other than at the farm, no big salaries. trump/republicans canceled a grant to us for $182,000, 25% of our budget. that means we’re delivered 250,000 fewer servings of fresh produce this year to my hungry neighbors.

Daleville, Indiana is fast becoming one of my favorite towns. Dunno anything about it, except the Daleville Commercial Bank is the first bank John Dillinger ever robbed, and Daleville is where Indiana SR 32 and 67 cross Interstate 69… Oh, and it lies on the western edge of Delaware County.
Petrol in Delaware County is “run” by the local oil company (or it was.) A few months ago, WaWa came to Daleville, followed within weeks by QuikTrip and One9 — these, in addition to the Pilot, Speedway, and Shell (which were already there), and the McClure and Marathon that’re less than 500yds away, make Daleville (a town of about 600) consistently the cheapest place in Indiana to buy gas. (It’s often the cheapest place between Chillicothe, OH and Effingham, IL…) Muncie (Delaware county seat and home of Ball State Univ) is on my “route” of schools I visit to acquire surplus. Gas prices in Muncie (or anyplace else in the County except Daleville) were $3.29-$3.49. I filled up in Daleville at $2.56.
I didn’t go to Muncie today. I traveled from the vicinity of Marshall (Huntington, WV) almost to University of Illinois (Champaign/Urbana.) I ate at a mom & pop ice cream joint about 25 miles outside Columbus, and ate supper at an amazing little restaurant in New Castle, IN, then hooked up with SR-32 in Daleville (it’s 34 miles shorter than taking the slab…)
In-between my food stops, Charlie Kirk was assassinated.

At places I stopped, people were standing around, talking, mostly in groups of 6-12, and all about the assassination, This is something I’ve never seen before, and reminded me of scenes from books and movies, of vigilantes or lynch mobs, gathering.
I’m not sure what to make of this, but I have a feeling it is a really bad thing.
The media, unsociable and otherwise, is divided between cheering the murder and murdering the cheerblock. J.B. Pritzker, the Illinois “governor,” whom I have to fear until I get out of this God-forsaken State tomorrow, released a statement blaming “Trump and the Jan-Sixers” for Kirk’s assassination. (He’s since walked it back, and made several blubbering statements, to try and get his ass out of that sling.) I overheard conversations by several hundred farmers and blue-collar types who would shove that lardassed imbecile in the ground next to Charlie Kirk, if they could.
I give it 48 hours before an aware person can make the call, whether this is the 21st Century version of “the shot heard ’round the world.”
I am not pleased, and suddenly not hopeful for our future…

on much more serious note, my better half and Partner for over 38 years for first time ever was in tears over this event. She has been a reluctant empath and Practitioner of YXQG. She found it very difficult (Mentally) but attended grp practices with me, and even attended the Concert for Peace Health and Prosperity -1999 i NYC/madison sq garden, with Dr Yan in attendance (Qi emitting). We couldnt sleep for 2l days after that one. She would not attend any of the extremely rare Qi Emitting Lectures the good Doctor occasionally gave.
All that said to color her perception skills. She described a terrible feeling she has never felt before and it caused her to Cry.

In the late 1960s or early ’70s, somebody at Ball State’s bookstore came out with the “Ball U” t-shirt. They were an underground sensation. Kids from all over the Midwest (and probably the South and East) made pilgrimages to Ball State to buy those shirts by the dozen (for probably a buck apiece) and sell them at their colleges for $10 each (back in the days when a Beatles, Led Zep, or Jefferson Airplane ticket was $7.) I’m surprised you didn’t own one…

Apparently Daleville is named after its Revolutionary War Veteran founder (Alexander) Campbell Dale who set it in motion at the sprightly age of 80+ years. Mr. Dale reputedly had a thrifty streak too.
One could start to imagine a Ureville, Tx. …hmmm.
