Retail Looms: Bounce and a Book Chapter…

Plus 18 charts and  forward projections in our ChartPack.  Boy, do we know how to have a good time, or what?

That nosebleed on Tuesday will not be far from our minds, though. Because if the Chiefs’ win holds as “the turning point” for this overpriced pig of a market, then coming weeks will see the Dow and other indices slide to frighteningly lower levels.

But there’s going to be times like that when gambling and investing get confused…

So, plan on two cups while we plot a course into a darkening future…

Valentines Day – don’tcha love it?

  1. House Insulation. If you are going to redo or start new I would look at foam insulation.
In building my Central Florida Log House I did a lot of research. Air Infiltration is the biggest problem of heating and cooling. Foam insulation stops infiltration!
My 2400 under air house had 9 foot ceilings downstairs. The great room was 20 feet from the floor to the bottom of the ridge beam. Lots of Cubic AC. Most AC types look at square feet only. The AC Contractor I hired was recommended by my ex-biker cigar chain smoking electrician who had found Jesus. Pay attention to the rednecks!
For the final AC unit we ended up with a 3.5 Ton Heat Pump! Very small but did the job. Heat and AC for the month was about $140-145 a month year round. Most of my friend were in the $300s. So a saving of at least $150 a month is $1800 a year times 10 years is $18,000. Nice.

At least think about it and don’t believe All of the Governments insulation information. It’s lacking.

    Cheers

    • Foam insulation has fire risk associated with it. Fibreglass doesn’t burn. But for both you need a vapour barrier. So in a very humid environment like Florida or really any place that is close to the ocean or inland waterfront foam may have advantages. The other materials you use may have an impact on your decision.

But what about mould? I know fibreglass can get mouldy. What about foam? Do you know?

I was advised Florida allows or requires concrete blocks for the first floor, is that right? I am presuming it allows the whole building to be concrete block. In that case fire is not a problem. Also if you use light steel studs for the walls you can forget about termites. Then foam insulation sounds ok as there is less of a fire risk with concrete and steel.

I know some states still allow cellulose insulation. Cellulose is one heck of a lot cheaper than foam. It burns too but if you use John Hardie or other concrete siding with OSB and wood studs you will have a lower construction cost, and the concrete siding will reduce fire risk from the outside in.

      • My foam had a fire retardant in it. Depending on the local block ‘might’ (Beach front?) might be required but not where I was 25 miles from the ocean. No mold at all. The foam was also a ceiling and underfloor vapor barrier so no problems.
The Florida Codes vary depending on Hurricanes, wind obstructions (trees), distance to the ocean and on and on and on. Spent a lot of time reading them so the code inspector and I could discuss the construction.

        Cheers

      • if it’s legal in your state.. there’s both a foam and a fiber insulation available made out of hemp marijuana.. great stuff fire retardant..
I had checked into it for the kids garage..sadly it’s illegal to have or use in the wastelands ..it’s a controlled substance lol lol
I would love to get a couple sheets of the plywood to but there again…
it’s illegal to buy or use..

      • Mold is an ever-present problem here in the tropics with over 130 inches of rainfall annually and high humidity. I got an Ozone generator similar to this one:
        http://tinyurl.com/2p8bap9x
Get the highest output you can find. Close up a room… or the whole house, evacuate people/pets, and gas the place. Kills mold, mildew, and odors. Ventilate well after usage. Outdoor surfaces here turn black with mold also, and require a pressure washer to take it off. One can always tell a vehicle that has been stored outdoors for years here. White cars turn grey/green with a film of black mold and green algae. Again, it takes a power washer to peel that film off.

        • Nice PRI e I tally have 3 of those..A little different but the same..I’m A real fan of ozone..
when I worked day labor we used them in cleaning airplanes we would go in clean all the seats wash out the fridge ( we got the left over supplies..sandwiches pop and those little liquor bottles) after it was cleaned we would set one of those back in the plane.. let it go for a half hour.. then head to the next plane.. they paid 20 bucks a plane..
we use that here at home to.. can do three rooms at a time. the thing is degass.. set it up close the door let it work. don’t let anyone in there no pets. ozone will attack the bacteria and viruses in your lung tissues..
          https://www.epa.gov/indoor-air-quality-iaq/ozone-generators-are-sold-air-cleaners

when using ozone to disinfect water for drinking you need to de-gas it.. you don’t have to do that for laundry..
in the USA an ozone generator for laundry are really expensive buy them from the manufacturer you can get four of them for the price of one..
in water fountains we used them to kill bacteria and extend the life of the equipment.
in the water fountains we set it on timers..then let it degass..
at the hospital we used them to sterilize or treat catheter equipment that couldn’t be put in the autoclave..

    • I totally agree regarding infiltration! I learned this when I had to deal with buildings exposed to high winds where a bit of exposed plumbing would always freeze in an otherwise heated house. Building codes are good guidelines, but need to be ignored(when possible) if there are better ways to engineer what matters. That’s comfort, security, health, safety, reliability and economy. The mix is up to the homeowner, or should be. If the climate allows, a layer of foam on the outside sealed and surfaced with stucco is my personal preference. It solves many problems, though penetrations(including window) need careful sealing and water diversion to make sure that it stays outside. A concrete(or block) building has lots of thermal mass that can be used to mitigate day/night temperature excursions. There’s some argument for a layer of foam on the inside too – covered with drywall. It does have its benefit, but subtracts from usable space.

One thing to watch with any construction is to prevent drafts from below up to the attic. In addition to the fire spread problem, this can waste an enormous amount of heat.

    • Luv,luv,luv that Spread !

Sell paper Gold Short, Buy BTC physical Long! I would Short paper Silver, as it is one of worst performing investments in last 10 years, but alas I don’t think it has much room to fall further.
      Never Investment advice, strictly Speculation.

Like the Man says, do Ure own research/homework.

    • The recorded outflow from gold and into digital ETF’s is going to catch some Federales attention, sooner-than-later.
      – You might want to keep your eyes open for some government back-lash pretty soon. But then, it is an election year., so any legislation will probably be delayed, at least until they can figure out just how to hide their ‘wallets’ from prying eyes.

    • easy..here is what I have..a power hub 1800.. a small cart two batteries and one solar panel

  2. CAVU in pilot talk… or ‘severe clear’ this morning and presunrise was 57F degrees… coldest morning this season at my 300ft ASL location. The vanilla pompona orchid cuttings have arrived and are potted under the shade of the Lychee tree, and now we wait… maybe years. I hope to live long enough to get some vanilla beans from them.
The volcano ranch has a new workhorse, a big, (used 2013) Titan pickup truck. The little old Ford Ranger and the Corvette were traded. The Titan has a big V8 and lousy gas mileage, but I use it for intermittent utility, green waste, and trash runs which are all short. Sticker shock when I drove it off the used car lot and did the first fillup. Over $100 on the first tankful. We’ll see how long it lasts. I hope this is the last vehicle I will need.

    • Change the oil and keep the tires out of the sun… my 2001 ram 1500 still has under 100k miles on it and will likely run to the end. (And hasten it, too, if I don’t figure out how to fix the a/c unit…). Summer is a Reaper down hee-ah.

      • Today is Titan cleaning day. Short dog hairs embedded in rug are a bitch, even with a rotating vacuum brush. Some require manual picking out of the rug for vacuum. Palpable grime on finger touch surfaces like turn signal arm… ugh! Tires are brand new and should last a long time & it will be garaged. 98k miles on a 2013 so it should go the distance with me. Time for full synthetic hi mileage oil, yup.
A/C fix can be a bitch. The Corvette got a new A/C radiator and new plumbing that cost several grand and went back twice to get the leaks fixed. But absolutely necessary in the tropics! Find a good A/C specialist.

      • “And hasten it, too, if I don’t figure out how to fix the a/c unit…”

If the compressor engages, run a small can of lube/indicator through it. If the compressor doesn’t engage, or it does and the leak is more involved than tightening a fitting or sensor, take it to a mechanic and pay the money — it’ll be cheaper in the long run.

    • Yo Loob,

Why don’t you try adding a hard boiled egg or two. This way not only will Ure tonals be thunderous, but Ure hangtime should be long and deadly as well.

PS -top it off with a Storm King Stout from Victory Brewing, and Ure Performance will border on “leaky O ring” territory.

Go ahead beaners, ask me how I know.?

      • lol lol lol..
yes..to many hops in the stout though… I dont like to many hops in my brew. just a hint.. I use to grow my own hops .. but it was a fast grower and way to many ..now I just buy the hops I need..I still haven’t bottled my raspberry chocolate wine.. I did get the mini ark of the covenant flower arrangement done for valentine’s day..it turned out beautiful..the note said my love for you is timeless..
it’s pretty not as great as the toilet brush holder the florist took pictures of it..she was so happy to make it..
valentine’s day is my favorite holiday..

  4. Butter buttermilk biscuits
    ingredients:
    2 cups all-purpose flour
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces
    3/4 cup buttermilk
    Steps:
Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse sand. Make a well in the center of the mixture and pour in the buttermilk. Stir just until the dough comes together.
Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently a few times. Pat the dough out into a 1-inch thick rectangle. Using a 2-inch biscuit cutter, cut out as many biscuits as you can and place them on a baking sheet. Gather the scraps and pat them out again, cutting out additional biscuits until all the dough has been used.
Bake the biscuits for 12-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown. Serve warm. Enjoy!

  5. Salisbury Steak with Onion Gravy – OMG this is a favorite of mine..I usually make up a few dozen of the patties and freeze them
    Ingredients
    1 pound ground beef
    1/3 cup bread crumbs
    2 teaspoons ketchup
    1 teaspoon mustard
    1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder optional, use if not doing onion in gravy
    Gravy
    1 onion small
    1 teaspoon oil
    2 cups beef broth
    4 tablespoons flour
    1 teaspoon ketchup
    1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 cup sliced mushrooms optional
    salt and pepper to taste
    Instructions
If you want caramelized onions in your gravy, start by thin slicing a small onion. Cook with 1 teaspoon oil over medium-high heat until nicely brown. About 7-8 minutes. You can cook the optional mushrooms instead or in addition with the onions. Set aside in a bowl.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with ? cup breadcrumbs, 2 teaspoons ketchup, 1 teaspoon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, and ½ teaspoon garlic powder. If not doing the onions, then add ½ teaspoon onion powder.
Divide the hamburger mixture into 3-4 equal portions. A quarter-size indent in the middle of one side to prevent puffing up of the patties and make cooking evener.
Place steak patties in a large frying pan with a teaspoon of oil over medium-high heat. Flip about every 5-6 minutes until an internal temperature of 165°. About 15-20 minutes depending on the thickness, the pan, and your burners.
Whisk 4 tablespoons flour with 1 cup beef broth. Remove the Salisbury steak to a plate and lightly tent. Pour out most of the liquid, leaving about 3-4 tablespoons of liquid. Allow the pan to cool some. Add 1 cup beef broth and bring to a light boil over medium heat.
Slowly add the flour-broth mixture while continuing to whisk. Add 1 teaspoon ketchup and ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Whisk until nicely thickened, a few minutes. If using the caramelized onions or mushrooms, add them to the gravy and mix well.
Add steak back into the mixture, simmer for a few minutes until everything is hot.

  7. Why can’t someone make a 5kw hydrogen [ runs off of tap water] electric generator? I’ve looked at several and they all pretty much suck. The one that did sound promising has a restrictive temperature operating range. 18 degrees / 101 degrees. [ Temp controlled garage? Which I don’t have.] Just the temps that you would rely on the gen-set to supply power for heat and air.
There has to be one out there – somewhere? Or, one in the works??

    • We would love one – because in the summertime, a 10kw unit (all solar power to break down the water) would cover all the a/c… Let me know when you find this unicorn.
Problem on all these is the water breaks down into hydrogen and oxy, but where do you put low pressure BIG VOLUME of gas? (I checked, wouldn’t fit in the sugar bowl…)
Be a fun engineering problem to noodle if we were 40-years younger and could shepherd a good design to market but that would have to wait until the radiation dies down and…and….

      • Toshiba and Honda are coming out with one – industrial grade. The photo showed a wall of tanks that in themselves would need engineering to install. It would turn a two car garage into a small walk way. Very impractical for a home-grown operation. And very expensive – it would take over twenty years [ at my locale] to recover costs – and in that twenty years how much would need to be repaired/replace ?
        – Will keep my eye out for one – but I have very little hope for a viable unit any time soon.

      • “Why can’t someone make a 5kw hydrogen [ runs off of tap water] electric generator?”

Because hydrogen is a battery — it takes exactly as much energy to make as it produces.
        =====

“Problem on all these is the water breaks down into hydrogen and oxy, but where do you put low pressure BIG VOLUME of gas?”

My most-promising (and still woefully incapable) designs used a rotary manifold I designed, as an accumulator, and a compression pump (repurposed high-pressure air-injection pump) to (figuratively) pack the bottom of the hydrogen tank as H2 was flowing out the top to make the car go.

There’s a reason I periodically remind people of the axiom they should’ve learned in 6th grade science: That you can’t get more kinetic energy out of something than the amount of potential energy it contains. The accumulator is a drag; the pump is a drag, the frickin’ bearings are a drag, and that’s before you ever get to the sexy stuff like drag coefficient or friction losses.

        • only if you tear the water apart ..using the brute force method is to costly and non productive..the trick is the tesla earthquake principle where what they took a half pound weight and almost took down a skyscraper..
similar to a crystal goblet ..once you discover the resonate frequency then hit the vibrating glass with the same frequency from another angle the glass falls apart..
there’s videos up that show kids tapping a big Boulder with a small stone to break it apart..it’s the same principle..
it’s been done in the past.. similar to the plasma fuel generator..
there isn’t any way that this would be allowed to be sold or marketed though.. storing pure hydrogen is quite costly and the mixers are expensive.
it burns to hot to and without deleting it like coal using coal in my multi fuel stove works great but it burns to hot..it has to be cooled down by mixing it with wood..I would love to see coal fuel pellets made 3 parts wood sawdust to 1 part coal dust.
hydrogen and motors would have to be altered to burn efficiently..
now you don’t need to think that I am correct or not. easy but it will never fit the business model and except for Herman Anderson and his what 2 thousand patents was the only one that was allowed to drive with it for his whole life. other people thought I’m going to sell the concept get rich..lol lol
that’s why you don’t see the bloombox home cell either..when the DOE pulled funding they decided ok we will sell it.. lol lol the DOE went back and funded the research..not for sale..
it’s why you don’t see them handing out grid tied systems to home owners and they don’t build solar towers at every substation..it would be cheaper and it would make our national security and grid bulketproof.. but it doesn’t fit the business model.. in the end uts always about coin..in some ones pocket.

      • the secret is ..Frequency..
the plan is to show the grandkids for future use. its not something that is acceptable now and would never be allowed to be sold until the present business model
is changed. that’s why our grid is vulnerable the business model. .
water is like crystal once you find out the frequency of the crystal and you hit it with the same frequency from another direction..the crystal will shatter or fall apart.. water is the crystal. what people try to do today is rip it apart. the ripping motion is what takes such a great amount of power and heat..

        • speaking about frequency and splitting hydrogen.. simple process not much energy consumed etc.. I have been running non stop for many hours a day taking one of the guys living in our spare room to his doctors visits.. anyway.. he went in to see the oncologist.. surgeon.. and he insisted I go in with him.. so I was sitting there.. reading a book in the corner and the doctor came in and was showing him the machine and giving a really nice simplified explanation to it.. and the doctor looked at me and said.. you have a question I can see it on your face…..
I asked.. is this the Kazius machine.. It is… I actually get to go into the room and watch this thing working.. so one of my things on my bucket list is going to be over with… I am pumped.. I swore if I had ever won the lottery this is one technology I would give grants to schools to study.. here we have one in the wastelands.. LOL LOL LOL no they won’t let me have it fired up to split hydrogen LOL LOL LOL but hell that is so easy any dumb person can do it.. LOL LOL LOL LOL
the guy said that it works five times and its over.. they don’t call it the kanzius machine something like lilzapper or something like that.. hell I don’t care what it is called.. LOL LOL LOL I am pumped.. all these hours of running from one clinic to another and I get one of my bucket list items knocked off..

      • The other one which is intriguing is a plasma reactor.. it works on the same principle as a Coleman fuel generator..

    • Youse should consult my good buddies at the Russian Federal Research Center – part of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SB RAS).

They were first ones Ever successfully convert a synthetic organic compound dimethoxymethane compound into a synthesis gas for the supply of solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC).

Said “relatively low low reaction temperature of 400 degrees and high quality allows making SOFC -based powerplants autonomous, mobile and more compact.

Go ahead Loobster, put that in Ure smoke, and pipe it!

      • now that is cool..I have never even heard of that..
I know on the bloombox power cell their plates are carbon and potassium nitrate solid .
like s0pittin cow pee or ammonia. I would love to see one of the plates and how they are made..
carbon graphite rods work really good..
one oddity though is everything has to be at odd measurements.. like 1,3,5 etc. to work correctly..
then hitting it with a frequency vortex similar to a microwave oven..
G shared with me a patent done by a guy we knew as uncle bob..that had a time machine patent..
I always called it the kraken lol lol.
there’s a video of Herman and one of Stan Meyers explaining the process..WHAT they don’t understand is what they are seeing is the pulsed frequency..
like AC current..it’s the pulsed frequency that sends the power great distances where DC power pushes the power so it runs hotter takes way to much force and isn’t cost effective..
the time machinec patent from uncle bobs company theorized a two magnetic vortexes and an electo magnetic fog in between.. ( bug zapper is what I think)

      • what’s really funny is even though this guy had done some great things and was like a brother to my father..their family took dad in when he was youn him and Bob were like brothers dad taught modern radar..
I didn’t have a clue he had anything else ither than that God awfully sausage they ate and that stinky cheese lol
dad always said he owned a little electronic shop in florida..

    • Before shipping and taxes I was at 17.66 cents a watt on my panels. These work out to 32.5 cents per watt.

  8. Ingredients
1 pound Italian sausage, casings removed

    1 onion, diced

    2 cloves garlic, chopped

    1/2 teaspoon ground fennel (optional)

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

    4 cups chicken broth

1 (14.5 ounce) can petite diced tomatoes

8 ounces pasta such as ditalini (gluten-free for gluten-free)

    1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano (parmesan), grated

    4 ounces cream cheese (warmed)

    1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream

    salt and pepper to taste

    1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)

    Instructions:
Cook the sausage and onion in a large saucepan until cooked, breaking the sausage apart as it cooks, before draining any excess grease.

Add the garlic, fennel, and red pepper flakes, mix, and cook until fragrant, about a minute.

Add the broth, tomatoes, pasta, and Italian seasoning, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the pasta is cooked, al-dente, about 6-8 minutes.

Add the parmesan, cream cheese, and cream, and let the cheeses melt into the soup, about 3-5 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix in the parsley and

Reheat gently on the stove, and you may need to add a bit of extra broth if the soup thickens upon standing.

Is there a substitute for heavy cream to make the soup lighter?
Yes, if you prefer a lighter version, you can use whole milk or a lower-fat milk alternative instead of heavy cream.

Keep in mind that this will affect the richness of the soup

If you’re planning to freeze it, consider making the soup without the pasta, and then add freshly cooked pasta when you’re ready to serve.

If you want a milder flavor, opt for sweet Italian sausage.
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes according to your taste

    I use spaghetti seasoning

For parsley, you can use dried, but fresh parsley will add a brighter flavor.

Adjust the quantities based on your taste preferences.

The ground fennel adds a subtle, sweet anise flavor to the soup, enhancing the overall taste.

Red pepper flakes provide a hint of heat.

Both are optional, and you can skip them if you prefer a milder soup.

Adjust the quantities based on your spice tolerance

  9. re: ‘Ark! …the Herald Angel’s Sing
feat: The First Ai (Punic) War

    Folks,

Ahoy, Landlubbers, don’t suffer entrenchment and leave your heart in San Francisco! Be Swift, oar – the Gates are turning a playbook page in the battle for Allegiant minds? You know it’s game on and time for the Hunt heiresses to stow the pom poms when Publisher George deploys his heavy metal Kubota to the front lines.

Today’s “France24” homepage reiterates as a new report one seen last week in “The Guardian” quoting a February 6th analysis from MTAC (Microsoft Threat Analysis Center). Iranian cyberterrorists had hacked western media channels in the UAE last December 10th and substituted their allegedly AI generated newscaster offering graphic scenes from Gaza. Neither Microsoft nor the Western msm mention that the “hacked” service provider of Western infotainment was a grey market pirate service of unclear provenance. According to the public Microsoft analysis, the Iranian cyber group/Gaza conflict is at phase 2 of the 3 phases of war. I think phase 3 is when the armour and troops go have a rumble in the sandbox? No worries, Bill has the football at 2nd down.

Apparently then, Iran’s cyber operation Cotton Sandstorm continues? The current name of the cyberterrorists is Emennet Pasargad. The UNESCO world heritage site webpage for Pasargadae reads impressively. It was capital of the Achaemenid Empire in Persia perhaps beloved by Boris that was founded by Cyrus the Great in the 6th century bc ruling from Egypt to India. Guess what? It was the first multi-cultural empire… Previously the cyberterror group prior name had translated as “in pursuit of heaven”.

Well, that takes us to our afternoon tea break with DJ George served with imperial cookies for a special occasion. Yes, yesterday of course msm informed that the Duke and Duchess of Montecito, Ca. travelled by a Canadian-built and operated private business jet boasting net-zero emissions from California gridlock to idyllic wanderings about Vancouver Island. Don’t fret America, it’s only for 3 days. “The Mirror” news group of London remains perturbed that the Prince’s coat of arms is erroneously sporting 5 crowns on the coronet rather than 3. Let us not delay further over trivial concerns. Again, here is DJ George on deck chilling with words of wisdom from Lynyrd Skynyrd –
    “Call Me the Breeze”.

  10. Here is an idea for exterior wall insulation. It will not pass any known building code but is readily available. Not cheap. More for an ark. Its reams of copier paper. It has some r value but it does one thing way better than foam or fiberglass or cellulose. It stops bullets. Do some homework to best configure it to your needs.

  11. I notice the House Intelligence Committee is trying its best to wag the dog.

    Seriously?

It took them eight days to get around to listening to Tucker’s interview with Putin?

    Naw…

Much more likely, it is basic BS designed to scare the House into approving our funding of the entire Ukrainian Government (including their pensions and pensioners) for the next year, and designed to scare PopUS into approving the House’ approval…

Maybe I’m just a tad cynical, because the average intelligence in places like George’s is considerably higher than elsewhere. If there’s an immediate danger to us from any other nation, that nation would be China. The only reasons to pick on Russia are Tucker’s interview, and as a deflection, so no one notices the CCP is slipping a barb up our backside (or notices that although it has been made illegal for gummint employees to have TikTok accounts, Creepy Joe has one…)

    • Gee Mr Raymondo,

Can you tell the class what that Red String around tucks Left Wrist during interview with other “one”..Pooters is all about ?

Better yet, we could ask Elon, since he was very recently publicly SPANKED on national TV, for voicing support of indigenous middle eastern Semites ..the Pals”.

  12. The tractor I use that has a three-point is an old Massey category 1. It’s two wheel drive, and that works well where I live. It’s not hydrostatic so whoever uses it needs to understand what to do with a compound shifter and a clutch. No big deal. It has no bucket, though I’d like one on it, but I have other machines with buckets. The implements I use include a bush hog, sometimes called a shredder, a blade(not a box blade), a ripper, and of course a PhD(post hole digger). There are other odd bits of equipment floating around, but they’re the main ones. I use the blade fairly often. It’s more versatile than a box blade, but the box blade that I don’t have has a particular utility for grading. I might make one in my “spare” time(LOL).

    • BTW, every machine/toy that I have runs on diesel rather than gas. Gas is good for starting in the winter and not much else. I do have a defunct gas tractor that may get repowered by something when I get a round tuit (in the next life maybe). Mechanical diesels have little to fail in them, but when the do it gets expensive. Just change the oil and filters! I avoid common rail diesels and their computers like the plague – too fussy and expensive to maintain.

  13. Interesting, Mexico’s President told his country that the dollar is going to collapse and everyone should get rid of their dollars soon, that was after speaking with China’s president Xi Jinping …

  14. Former Home Depot CEO sounds alarm on ‘tremendous shift’ in labor market

“The general population will not be duped by this aversion to try and blame inflation on corporate America. It starts at the raw materials, it starts at transportation, it starts at energy,” former Home Depot and Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli said on “Cavuto: Coast to Coast” Monday.

  15. Bannon is pissed: voters in red states are sending warmongering RINOs to the Senate…

In case you didn’t hear, the bums in the Senate, including 22 Republicans, voted to send $95 billion for Ukraine and absolutely nothing for the southern border.

The base told them repeatedly that we’re done with endless war. These 22 refused to listen:

    McConnell (R-KY)
    Thune (R-SD)
    Boozman (R-AR)
    Capito (R-WV)
    Cassidy (R-LA)
    Collins (R-ME)
    Cornyn (R-TX)
    Cramer (R-ND)
    Crapo (R-ID)
    Ernst (R-IA)
    Grassley (R-IA)
    Hoeven (R-ND)
    Kennedy (R-LA)
    Moran (R-KS)
    Murkowski (R-AK)
    Risch (R-ID)
    Romney (R-UT)
    Rounds (R-SD)
    Sullivan (R-AK)
    Tillis (R-NC)
    Wicker (R-MS)
    Young (R-IN)

I’m surprised to see Ernst, Kennedy, and Young, and a little surprised not to see Graham…

    • My thought is the 22…Are playing and scurrying to get their …political alliance’s of the bubble of power the man behind the curtain in order.
as the country crumbles and we are stressed to the max..I believe that A politician is going to think..hmm which political alliance will keep me in the position I have today.. where’s the beef…
all while forgetting the citizens… the alliances to the man behind the curtain..you have to think why in the world would they even consider putting their alliance with them especially as the world is crumbling around them the people are all yammering for the politicians to do the jobs they were hired to do
